Let's begin with the good: I really like the environment. There is seating inside and outside and I could really see that people really love and enjoy this place. Staff also was very friendly. Now, the food was ok! Nothing from what I had was bad, but nothing extraordinary either. The prices I felt were a little higher than other places. But I think its because they dont have any combos or trios, so you have to order everything separately which builds up into a slightly higher price than similar places. I also need to comment that they have a fountain drink with free refill for you to drink as much soda as you want. And more: They have PLASTIC straws.. ;p

The poutine was served with the fries nice and crispy and the cheese curds partially melted but still remained squeezing. Service at the counter was polite, efficient and they were pleased to serve. Overall a good experience.
The Cheeseburger was the best, but the classic poutine is really good. The employees were very nice and extremely helpful. If you are international, they do not take cards and you will need to have Canadian dollars, but it is definitely worth it.
They know my order by heart and remember me. I love going there during my breaks. Im going back there as soon as I can!

First time here, we pass by it often and the parking lot is always full so I told myself it must be good, blah and blah, nothing to envy anyone, poutine that makes the potatoes swim and double cheez with the meat still a little red, so much so. just be in these corners past your path and continue towards Richelieu and stop at the potato rie, there you will have a mind-blowing experience with the smash burger its a real good snack

A nice quick stop, lovely and efficient staff. There is even a gentleman who manages the parking for fewer problems. A little bit of history about the trains with the photos on the walls deserves attention. And youll probably see a trian pass if you sit near a window or outside. Parking: A man is there to facilitate parking and coming and going.

Tout le monde fait de grands sourires et on se sent tout de suite confortable :) la nourriture définitivement à la hauteur de notre cravings. Le fromage fait vraiment squick Quick dans la Poutine et les options à la viande fumée juste WoW on recommande à tous et nous y retournerons !!!

The best snack bar in the Mont-Saint-Hilaire area and I was very well received by Chantal, Sylvain and Janic who were able to offer me the best friendly and personalized service. Its the best poutine in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, the meals and desserts are varied and made with love! I highly recommend to everyone! Benoit Roberges favorite on the show Sur le pou on Zeste! I will return there on my next visit to Mont-Saint-Hilaire!

Best carrot cake in the world
July 24, 2022: I need to revise my grade from a year ago. Todays visit was much better. The fries were very good and the Alldressed steamed hotdogs were good. Old note (2021): The potatoes were very greasy, blackened, and there were small crumbs. Steamed hotdog aldressed dry and not very tasty.
I just spent 2 days in the hospital with severe food indigestion. A normal poutine and hot dog but phew lasts the weekend.

Beau petit casse-croûte sympathique. Le personnel est très gentil et il y a même une personne en charge de la circulation dans le stationnement. Familial et très convivial il y a des photos de l évolution du restaurant sur les mur, c est beau de voir le sentiment d appartenance. Seul bémol il faut s attendre à sentir un peu la friture si l on mange à l intérieur.

What a desappointment! Ive lived in Otterburn Park for over fifteen years... and so probably as long as Ive passed the Pont Noir snack bar on Chemin des Patriotes, and Im always surprised to see so many vehicles in the small parking lot and how popular the restaurant seems. I went there this week...and I was VERY disappointed. I admit that there can be degrees of quality even in junk food, but here... when even the fries are bad, its off to a bad start. Theyre barely fries, in fact, theyre just shriveled and overcooked little bits, more like a big handful of squishy caterpillars! And in my mustard and cabbage hot dogs, that s not cabbage, ma am, sir, it s sawdust! Of course, La Fringale in McMasterville is a bit far to get a little fries and two roteux , but I can confirm, it s worth the detour. Next time, as long as I have to settle for Pont Noir, Ill prefer to do without it... and prepare a little salad!
