An excellent spot with a wide variety of food and great service. The chicken was a bit too salty for my taste, but overall, the price-to-quality ratio is good. This cafe holds a special place in our heart - it opened about 12 years ago, during our final year at the nearby Conservatoire, and it quickly became our go-to spot for daily lunches. A truly memorable place 😊
Really nice staff and warm tasty food. Ambience and music top tier
What a gem. The staff are wonderful, very pleasant, easy-going, helpful (especially Pamela!). Flavourful affordable food with lots of delicious veggie options. A must!
Tasty sandwich at an affordable price. Staff is nice and friendly, they will be happy to take their time and introduce the customers to their best selling sandwiches. The space will probably fit just 4-5 people for dine in so better to do take out.
I had higher expectations by looking at the reviews the manakish were okay I tried the cheese but it barely had cheese it tasted just like a dough. There are also products from middle east similar to the one at Adonis. Service was good . Loud music.
Great selection of hot and cold foods, and frozen meals. The staff were really friendly. Everything looked very yummy. Mid-range prices. I thought my eggplant meat dish was just okay. There wasn’t much meat in it. A small, nice seating area.
Awesome little spot for Lebanese eats and groceries. The staff here are so helpful, kind, and friendly. Multiple staff members were eager to help me and kind enough to give me the “first time welcome”, walking me through how their shop worked. I ordered at random and everything I had was delicious! You can order things to eat in, to take out, or even take home some of the base ingredients and prepared meals. Seems relatively healthy and high quality ingredients. A gem in Montreal!
Lebanese shop with meals on the go or for dine in. The store is in the heart of the Plateau of Montreal. They serve to go meals that are already pre packaged and ready to re heat! Also their dine in menu is incredible, it feels like a fresh home made meal. They also have a selection of grocery items readily available to pick up. One of the best kebbe I’ve had fresh and bursting of flavour. Had their fatoush $7 salad and kafta bowl $8 incredibly affordable for the amount they give! Friendly and quick service.
Excellent and inexpensive! The freshness and variety of dishes is exceptional! A must-see in the Plateau Mont-Royal!!!
Jadore leurs petites salades à vendre et les sandwichs chauds! Meilleur pita du quartier Edit: I am updating my year old review. This place used to be so much better. Its just super low quality and crazy expensive now. Enshitifaction of everything continues
Tiny place, best for take out but really delicious coices!!
A good Lebanese restaurant
Exceptional service....and the owner and manager are incredible...I understand why this business works well....if you have a business and you want your business to work....go see them.... observe the....congratulations again
Fantastic experience! Delicious food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. Can t wait to come back!
Institution on Mont-Royal Street. Large selection of wraps, salads, and hot Lebanese dishes and more. The staff is always very pleasant and I highly recommend their feta pita. They take cash or interac only. Vegetarian options: Falafel and salads
One doesnt
Not only is the food great, but the employees are incredibly nice. 10/10, a must try in Montreal
Everything is tasty! The employees are welcoming
I keep coming back...
The flavors of Libano .delicious!!!
Good home made style food I picked up the food and ate at home Good value for money Pleasant service Food : 4/5 |
Very pleasant, the staff goes beyond expectations, the food is fresh and tasty! Restricted space for eating so know that it is more pleasant in counter mode! No toilets for customers.
Good sandwiches to help out with fast service! I really like the small dishes and dips available for self-service: ideal for an aperitif with fresh produce!
Delicious food and amazing staff.
Interesting choice of food. Vegetarian choices too Vegetarian options: Many choices
We go weekly to always have some of their great prepared foods around love the place and its staff!
Excellent Lebanese, impeccable service, very reasonable price
Still so good
Succulent and very inexpensive!!
I usually just buy the dips to stock my fridge and they are all INCROYABLE
Enough food for 10 people, for a low price. Everything is fresh and delicious. A must-have.
I got two small plates to go, one vegetalien and one kofta with potatoes. Plates include rice. Service was extremely nice and I loved the vibe (they were playing A Tribe Called Quest, very non-Lebanese but it was neat), but the food was only average, a bit too salty and the portion size is not that impressive- Ill probably have to eat both for dinner and thats about $22 with sales tax. There are better value Middle Eastern places in Montreal (and every city in Canada).
Good food. But the cleanliness of the premises (tables, walls, windows, etc.) leaves much to be desired. In addition, I was charged an 18% tip even though I had mentioned 15% for counter service. The heavy metal music was way too loud.
Stopped by for dinner, had the tabouleh and a wrap. The salad was great but the wrap was cold. Music was far too loud we had to step out, but they have seating outside. Can t pay with credit, just cash or debit
Just good food.
You can go with your eyes closed to this Lebanese restaurant serving delicious sandwiches. The vegetarian options are incredible and the prices are very reasonable. A great address on the plateau!
Cool loud music assumed. Service in French. 13 years of existence. Impeccable service. Fresh and excellent food. You cant have a choice like that. I really have a weakness for Lebanese culture!
One of my favourite place to grab a sandwich. Filled with fresh veggies, affordable, friendly staff. :)
Lovely place, nice people, delicious food! Thank you, Trip de Bouffe!
The mouhamara is soooo good. Full of nuts but it doesnt seem like it, super flavorful
Friendly staff and delicious wraps! Highly recommend the falafel wrap made with za atar bread.
The staff is phenomenal, the food is delicious. If you re in the plateau please check this place out!
My best friend is lebanese so grew up partly in the community. The food is good or super good as well as authentic, but the portions are small and expensive. They can do that because they are the only lebanese bakery around. Theres a small grocery section, pretty much the only near east one for the whole plateau region. Parking: Very popular neighborhood. You have to be lucky. Kid-friendliness: No alcohol, small portions, tasty food but not spicy, small grocery section
Delicious food, friendly service, and super convenient. Their all-dressed sandwiches are simply amazing
A classic! I love their sandwiches, I go there as soon as I m on set!
very nice place and friend staff
Great customer service! The products are absolutely delicious (I highly recommend their pita breads!). Very happy to have discovered this place while walking on Mont-Royal :).
Have eaten, their food about 20 times over the last one year. The staff is the best thing at this place, they are welcoming smile, patient listening to the different combo replacements substitutes that I asked for, and always willing to add the extra sauce to my rice. The decor is homey, a few retro, vintage, knickknacks from around the world, just like my place. The food, hmm. The choices are plenty, the takeout prepared food ready to go home and eat is better than the fresh ,. Why so a Mediterranean cuisine is healthy because of its freshness and quality ingredients, freshness is a hit or miss in the prepared (plats chauds) food section. the goods: Mujadara ( lentil +rice ) is a winner, sn the chick pea stew, also the bassa fillet, with mild spices. My gripe: tabouli salad, doesnt have fresh parsley- definately ot made everyday/day of today: how is that possible 8 out of 10 times this is my experience. Summer sexy salad =cucumbers - at least a day old with fresh tomatoes - phew. Holy moly guacamole- avocado was fresh- the rest was recycled. the food is visually appealing, the choices are plenty, the decor/endroit is clean+pleasant, the staff is gracious and friendly, prices are avg plateau, ($$) the food............room for improvement.
The staff is welcoming, the all-dressed spicy chicken pita with garlic sauce is delicious
Everything is delicious! My favorites: chicken rice, fattouch salad, muhamara, cheese rolls. The pitas are good too. I live nearby and its ideal both for evenings when I dont have time to cook a nice hot meal or to eat a rolled sandwich on the go.
Excellent cuisine and the welcome was very warm! We explain the dishes and formulas to you with a beautiful smile!
The best sandwich Ive eaten in my life, the spicy chicken one (which doesnt heat the taste buds too much) with all the vegetables. Its fresh and on site, good music and a warm atmosphere, my favorite restaurant on the plateau
Excellent little restaurant with Mediterranean flavors. Nothing complicated here: beautiful, good and inexpensive with exquisite taste. Perfect place to grab a quick bite for someone in a hurry or to find takeaway food. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. On the other hand, the toilet is located at the back of the restaurant, therefore restricted accessibility.
Food is good but be prepared to pay more for what you expect.
Super good authentic Lebanese food, tasty, friendly staff. Guaranteed freshness.
Great food, great atmosphere and super helpful and friendly staff
One of my favorite places in Montreal, delicious on site or takeaway meals to change the situation of your picnic in the park.
Food is nothing special and way overpriced. Staff is rude and snob. Its ok if you dont know about this food. Far off of what it should be. Pretentious and made for ppl with money to burn.
Unfortunately the service is really bad! It seems like we re bothering the people behind the counter!
This place is unique, its Lebanese cuisine, large selection of salads and snacks, There is also a mini supermarket with spices and different things from this country, it has everything, a good atmosphere, good music, excellent and excellent food. service!!! Vegetarian options: All their vegetarian options are excellent
They are thieves! Never seen such crazy prices for eating Lebanese. Go somewhere else its definitely not worth the cost! Because they are on set, they take us for nonos!!!
The food is so good !!!! I can t get enough ^^ And the music is always so nice in there plus the service is quick and friendly Food
Everything there is great! Best pitta bread and hommus ever - thats what my 6yo has for breakfast every morning! And everything in their menu is delicious. People who work there are super super nice, and speak French & English. Vegetarian options: Great vegan options! Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options!
Very good sandwich and great houssam service
Beautiful, good, inexpensive
Perfect when you feel stuck because EVERYTHING is good!!!
Ive been mistreated and treated by the staff like they were doing me a favour and they couldnt even get my order right. Overrated overhyped hipster den.
The food is really good and not that expensive. But the service was a disappointment :( One of the servers was very nice, but the others were super rude. They made 2 errors in our requests (the same request came wrong twice): we asked for 2 kebés and 3 sfihas The first time they gave us several other things (many other things). Probably charged us for that too :( When we went to speak with the waiters, they seemed really lost Gave us 2 kebés and 2 sfihas The second time it was super annoying to show the error again... We felt disturbing, guilty, inappropriate... :/ So the food was really good but we felt stuck, subjugated...
Trip de Bouffe Montréal offers authentic Lebanese cuisine exquisite flavors varied choice of mezze homemade breads delicious warm and efficient service friendly atmosphere affordable prices perfect for healthy lunch or dinner vegetarian and vegan options high quality highly recommended.
Great food with a reasonable price. Its refreshing to taste good food made by talented people.
Super welcoming owner. Good food
Very good and affordable!
The food and customer service is magnificent
Nice
Best Manouche ever!! Always fresh and always good!
delicious, dishes made with love and really fresh. well done! I recommend to everyone.
micheal jakeson
Very good homemade food and service is excellent
The best food in the plateau
Always so tasty and served with a smile. What more could you want!
Great address for those who like it. Eat Lebanese. Very reasonable prices, we ate on the terrace in the sun in this lively street Extra tabbouleh
For me this is where the best hummus and the best pita breads are found!!! Everything is good. There is no doubt that you will find everything you need if you have an aperitif to prepare or an impromptu picnic.
Real heartfelt food. Amazing quality. At such an honest price. Very rare in montreal!!!
Best hummus in montreal !
Respect
Trippe de bouffe has become one of my favorite places for a quick, tasty and very affordable lunch. For $6.50, you can get a kind of mouth-watering Lebanese wrap, vegetarian or not!
Great sandwiches!
Very good, friendly service from those who prepare the sandwiches and dishes. Good taste but too little meat in my sandwich...very disappointing. At the checkout we speak to him in French but he takes great pleasure in wanting us to continue in English. Very very annoying..!! Hello !! you can t see that I want to speak French, right?
Very good meal to take away or eat in
I love it!
Great variety of ready to eat food. Tasty, healthy and priced normally
Too expensive for what it is plus the long wait, I had a mix of cheese sticks and chicken, it was just disgusting.
The MOST AUTHENTIC lebanese food !! Better than any restaurant !!! It blew my mind. Would literally come every day if I could !!
Always the best place!
spicy chicken all dressed garlic sauce spicy oil my gaaarss
Excellent food, the only problem is that it only accepts cash or debit card.
mmmmmm yum
Great service, delicious food! One of our favorites! We are never disappointed!
Incredible vine leaves. Eggplant pizza perfect for making Mont Royal pedestrian. A must.
Always delicious choices in easy sized portions to take out! ;)
I have been a regular customer for several years and after my visit this morning I think it stops there. The complacent and disrespectful attitude from the employees was just unacceptable.
A very good experience! We ordered for a group of 12 people and everyone loved it. Customer service was great, they helped me well with quantities and suggestions. I recommend without hesitation!
Delicious with your good service, lots of choice and variety.
Friendly staff and good food
When I entered, fresh lebanese pizzas were coming straight from the oven so I asked for one but they refused and insisted I take one from yesterday... This is crazy
Wow . So amazing ! Great food and desserts are amazing. I had one of the spinach cheese pitas with turnips and mint and it was huge and filling. Plus kebe with meat and zaziki sauce on the side. There are 3 sections: hot plates mostly served with sides of rice , salads or fried little finger foods (kebe and others). You can sit inside or outside or take food to go. Highly recommend
Yum!
Excellent food, excellent service, low price and generous portion! The kind of restaurant where you hope no TikTok influencer can find you to keep this little secret for you!
This place is a hidden gem. We tried the spicy chicken sandwich (all dressed!!), the Holy Moly salad, and the beef and cheese sticks. Everything was so fresh, flavourful and reasonably priced. I want to try everything they have. The cashier was also so sweet! I would definitely recommend.
Great Lebanese food! Everything is homemade! Special mention for the hummus and pitas! More mixed on ready-made meals. It s overall delicious!
A classic, try it!
Amazing food
Simple and delicious Middle Eastern food
Great spot for delicious pita sandwiches and sides.
As soon as I entered the business, the smells and the dishes made the place so appetizing! There are so many choices that its hard to choose! This is a very nice problem! I took a take out to go for a picnic at the nearby park and everything was delicious and perfect...
I had a sandwich and a few baked goods. Everything was good but it wasn t my cup of tea. Not sure I would come back, nothing wrong with the place but not for me.
Good price, very helpful staff!
This is such a great find for a quick grab and eat situation. Everything tastes, fresh and great! The staff is also friendly. There s also a very large variety to choose from. I would definitely recommend for a quick eats!
Super cute bakery/salad bar/lunch place with a dope selection of fresh food. Very helpful and nice service. A tiny bit overpriced imo but still recommended!
Amazing, they have a time machine at Food Trip! I bought food on October 7, but the product was packaged on the 8th! Wow.
Fan of the restaurant for a very long time (best hummus in town)! I recently ordered their catering service for an evening and I can only say good things about it. The service was good and everyone I spoke to was friendly and accommodating in addition to the excellent food. Thank you so much!
Best falafels!
Got myself a dish to go. The fish (bass) with rice and the fish was completely raw. Called them to let them know. They checked while keeping me on the line and confirmed that it was clearly uncooked and they apologized. That s it. Did not offer me to get a refund.
Great food. Service a bit slow though
Excellent address! Very very good Lebanese food! And the staff is very welcoming
Easy, good food, fast, great service.. Only debit card tho
Quality service at low prices, thanks guys!
I go here time and time again . Delicious food and great atmosphere.
Great selection of hot and cold Lebanese dishes for dining in or take away. Tried the fattoush, shawarma, chicken rolls, and meat kebbe. All delicious.
Delicious meals, good prices, friendly staff!
I was a little intimidated by the amount of options provided (because everything looked so good) and one of the people took the time to explain how it worked and made suggestions, so much appreciated. I took a few bites and the shawarma dish was so good!! Thanks again!
A small place, with little space to eat-in, but if youre at the street market on Mont-Royal, theres always places to sit outside. I grew up on Lebanese food cooked by good family friends, food from this restaurant is the real thing. Their pitas, made in-house, are super soft and, well, perfect. Everything there is full-flavour, I like to go sometimes and pick up things there for a picnic as there are many dishes to choose from, a wide variety of pre-packaged tubs (hummus, tabouleh, baba ghanoush, etc.) and hot meal items. Im not able to be in this neighbourhood without my tastbuds watering. If you want to be satisfied with the quality of food for your money, and feel well-fed (Im sure theres love in that food), eat here.
We got our staff event catering from here on two different occasions. It is so good, so satisfying! Lots of options, including great veggie options. Fantastic. Vegetarian options: Super tasty!
We had the catered meals and it was excellent :) THANKS
Great place to pick up sandwiches, we go every other week so worth it. Great Lebanese treats, everything made on site. Support local business. You wont be disappointed
Pricey. Had Zaatar bread but was not wowed. Parking was a hassle.
Really very good. Be careful, they dont take credit cards. You should just warn in advance to avoid going to the counter and incurring additional costs.
Its expensive but its so good. I go there for the fresh hummus. There are other dishes prepared. My favorites are mezzes like meat kebbe. You can eat in or take away. Often the only place after 6 p.m. to snack in peace. I suggest they offer coffee.
