Bar Ganadara in Montreal

We arrived at the bar around 9:30 PM on Tuesday night and asked for a table. The staff informed us it would be a 30-minute wait, which we understood given how busy it was. We requested to leave our number so we could be notified when a table became available. However, the staff member mentioned that the kitchen closed at 10:30 PM and seemed unwilling to accommodate us. We also felt that the staff was rude and unhelpful, ignoring our inquiries. My previous visit left a positive impression, but this experience was disappointing.

The rose tteokbokki here was really delicious! As soon as I arrived in Montreal, even though I went late at night, the owner was very friendly and the food was really delicious. On the last night before I went back, I ate rose tteokbokki again haha.

You guys must eat rose tteokbokki. Its much delicious than Korea. Also sashimi is great too!

I really liked my experience overall. I did need to wait a bit for my food to come and water was a bit slow but nonetheless the staff was really sweet and good and the food was, as expected, delicious and the meals more spicy did exactly the job it was spicy just as I like it and the ambience was more on the bar side but nothing bad just different then most restaurant but I definitely recommend going as group to have a more full experience of it all.

We went there for an extraordinary occasion, and the entire experience was ruined by the servers attitude the server spilled near-boiling hot udon soup onto my friend thighs and didnt handle the situation properly, they just handed us napkins and the bare minimum apology (so). Even tho the whole soup was spilled, we werent offered a replacement or compensation. When the supervisor came over, she was dismissive, saying idk what else you guys need, the server is new, he already gave an apology. Her response was not only unprofessional, but also completely disrespectful and she showed no concern over my friend who got severely injured, and she showed no responsibility. My friend was injured burned by your restaurant s negligence and all you can say is he apologized ? What kind of training do you give your staff? Where is the professionalism? Where is the basic human decency? A person is injured because of your restaurant s negligence, and that s your response? Unbelievable. The lack of empathy, accountability, and basic human decency is honestly shocking. This was hands down the worst dining experience I ve ever had. I demand better, and frankly, I expect someone to make this right. Immediately.

Ive been twice (once as a table of 2 and another as a table of 4) about a year apart from each other. On both occasions the service was absolutely terrible. This time around we ordered food and drinks. It was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was half empty. The food arrived at our table, and we had to ask our waitress where our drinks were. She didnt even go and make them right away and we were more than halfway through our meal by the time we came out. One drink was even the wrong one. We had ordered virgin and she brought out an alcoholic one and then even tried to charge us for the drink with alcohol, which we had obviously sent back. My partner asked for a knife and never got it, so he couldnt take apart the meat that came with his ramyun. Meanwhile the whole staff is on their phone in the bar in the middle of the restaurant. I wanted to make my soup home, and they didnt even have a takeout container that could hold broth. I had to leave my broth at the restaurant and leave with just noodles. I tried to give this place another shot, but the low quality dining service is just not worth.

Ganadara is no longer what it used to be. The music is bad and I do not understand how a place can hire people who either look like they are on drugs, or look like theyd rather be doing anything else . The hostess with tattoos is rude and unwelcoming, and to have her as the first point of contact makes you want to not eat there ... It Feels like the people who work there only care about returning customers and their own friends. Would not recommend this place anymore. I Dont know if the owners have changed but it used to be a lot better a couple of years back. What a shame .

I came to eat in this restaurant and got locked inside before closing hours because they closed earlier without making sure no clients were still inside.Police had to be called.A staff member came after being called by the police. He never presented himself,and no excuses were ever presented.He didn t even take my name or phone number for a follow up.After the incident, I called the restaurant multiples times to tell them about the situation and discuss with them but there is no answer. I presented myself to the restaurant and explained the situation to a supervisor present .They asked for my phone number so the manager could present their excuses, so they say It s been at least a month and no one has contacted me.This was so poorly handled from this restaurant and it was negligent from the restaurant. It ruined my experience and it was stressful.

The quality of certain dishes has diminished,like the pork belly and lamb skewers were dry unfortunately,the butter chicken udon was delicious Hope they can improve their quality like in the past.

Teobokki rosé sauce are 10/10

I tried giving this place multiple chances. Never really understood what the buzz was about, but yesterday was really my final straw. I ordered pork tantan udons and was extremely disappointed with my food. I expected something much better for the price. It was beyond bland. Safe to say I will not be coming back here.

Good food and good ambiance. Service is pretty quick and it s a great place for bigger groups. Favorite was the rose tteokbokki. Portions are good and prices are reasonable.

Issue 1 - if you are trying to make a reservation over the phone, forget about it! They do not answer the phone at all. We were a group of 10-12 so we couldn t book online and had to submit a reservation request on their website. We never got a reply back so we tried to call for 4 days with no answer! Voicemail box full.. I literally went to the restaurant in person to make a reservation and that was no issue. I have truly never experience such trouble getting a hold of a restaurant (still was never able to over the phone). Issue 2 - We were excited to drink lots of soju but when we started ordering the waitress informed us that they had no soju! There was a whole section on the menu for soju and sake and no one told us that they didn t have either of those until we started ordering. We ordered some cocktail pitchers instead, which were just fine (not very strong). Issue 3 - There was some water from the ceiling leaking on half of the people of our group so we asked the waitress if she could switch to a different table. She was only able to offer us a separate additional smaller table behind us. This was frustrating as it split our group and we were planning on sharing all of the food we had already ordered as they told us we could only do 1 bill for the group. Each time we got a plate we had to decide which table would get it and we had to pass down some plates back and forth to both table. It was a mess and super inconvenient. About halfway into our meal we were moved once again to a larger table that could fit our whole group. Nothing was offered to us to accommodate for all the inconvenience. I had to ask the waitress if she could possibly offer a discount or free items as we were disappointed with our experience. I even asked her to have the manager come and talk to me if necessary. After some back and forth they offered a pitcher of beer and cocktail. Issue 4 - Finally, we had ordered 2 calamari which literally took over an hour. I also found that there was limited vegetarian options. Overall I was mainly very disappointed by the customer service and that there was no soju. This really affected the whole dinner and they could have made it up to us by being proactive and offer us a discount or some free items to apologize for the situation. Instead we had to ask and « fight » for it. They definitely do not know how to give good customer experience. Only redeeming quality is that the food was good.

We had to try this restaurant because of all the rave but was not impressed. The hostess with the tattoos was just standing around doing nothing when we arrived on time for our reservation and the restaurant was not even full at that time but yet waited 15 minutes before she even came to us. Two of our plates were fine but one of them was only 1/2 of the portion of the other 2 plates. With this said, we will not be returning again.

Very very nice place. The food was very good and the decoration is splendid. It s a place that I recommend for outings with friends! In fact, I went twice (decorations vary depending on the location).

Went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The portions are quite large, the waitress should have given us a heads up. The birthday girls ordered a lobster pasta and she proceeded to throw up directly in her plate; clearly, there was something wrong with it. The waitress still charged her for her meal. In addition, we were not warned ahead of time that they only do 1 bill for a group over 6 ppl. The waitress was not very cordial or understanding, borderline rude. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but after that experience, I will not be returning.

3 ladies staring at customers to the right, because they weren t the hostess , had to wait a long time for hostess to show up. Why not just seat the customers instead of staring at a male customer and commenting on his hair?

Amazing food, good service and a nice place.

There were 4 of us with a reservation. When we got close, we tried to call several times to advise of a 5-10 minute delay. No response...Arriving at the restaurant, the employee at reception told us that the reservation was canceled due to the delay. We informed us that we had called and no response. She replied that their phone line is out of service. We respond that there is still a telephone number in the name of our reservation to contact us, this has not been done. Lets understand the situation, we even ask for a table. We were assigned a table, it was very hot inside even though we were in front of the air conditioner. Our waitress was smiling and professional. We had ordered dishes, the beef in my dish was lukewarm, almost cold for my taste. My friends took the meat lover plate on the recommendation of the waitress that this dish could be shared. Dish arrived, few fries on the plate, and the turkey meat was not eaten because it was tough and difficult to cut. Wise waitress but cook insists that it is well cooked. We left disappointed

I used to love that place but the quality has definitely went down. We ordered chicken skin and it came right away, I have the feeling they gave us an old mistake, it was extremely cold, hard, thick and had feathers. Service was slow

Definitely a great place to socialize and hang with friends before a night out. Food was great and it came out fast. Service was fast and friendly. I recommend reservations as it does get busy throughout the nights. I recommend the lobster udon as that was the most memorable and presentable.

The service attitude was super bad. No one was there to greet me. The ordinary waiters didn t greet me when they saw it. Even the waiters passing by pretended they didn t see it. There was no one in line and all the seats were empty. I had to wait for a long time to get a seat. I don t know what you are doing. Haha, come out. I felt bullied when I had a meal while traveling.

The three dishes Ive tasted were all very good and the atmosphere is amazing. You should definitely try this place. I also fell in love with the yogurt soju. Its soooo good!

The lobster burger I had recently was so delicious. The fresh raw fish is the best. Nagasaki udon, chicken rice bowl, and rose tteokbokki are all so delicious.

Love the salmon rice and the sweet potato fries 2nd time pork rib cream udon: love it but a bit of greasy if you dont like creamy things Chicken curry udon: my friend liked it 3rd time: Shrimp cream udon: the same taste of pork ribs one and the shrimps were great Strawberry bingsu: must take for sweet junkie

Weve been meaning to visit this bar ever since we moved to Montreal two years ago and we finally went there on a friday early evening. We didnt know apparently fridays need a reservation, but they didnt mention it upon arrival and quickly found as a table (it wasnt crowded yet, it was early). Staff was super friendly and service was fast. Drinks and food were amazing. We will definitely return.

A very satisfying experience. The service was impeccable and friendly. The food was great, well presented and quite generous for the price. A lot of variety on their menu going from the classic Korean fried chicken, the surprisingly chewy and cheesy Tteokbokki to the amazing braised beef short ribs ramen. Will definitely come back again to try the others meal options.

I came to this place twice and the customer service experience was very unpleasant. The hostess who is there every evening and who is supposed to be the manager or supervisor is super rude, her attitude is very unpleasant just with her at the beginning it ruined the whole experience which could have been not bad because the food is ok for what I had to take (poutine and fried chicken) I dont know if its the fact that they have gained in popularity given the deterioration of reviews in recent months or its just a change of staff but really unpleasant and frustrating, she doesnt make a single smile and point blank we give you between 1 hour and 2 hours to eat I think its Its rare for a person to stay more than two hours in a restaurant but the way this employee arrogantly informs you its like youre not happy youre going elsewhere personally I would go elsewhere and this place should be boycotted so they understand without customers well they will close pretty quickly

The WORST experience of my entire life. I ve never felt like this and I don t wish this upon my worst enemy. I reserved a table for 5 for my 21st birthday. We were missing 2 forks and 2 cups. The waitress told me we re out of forks and cups which is ironic for a restaurant They forgot one of our dishes and the waitress never came once to ask us if we needed anything even after trying to get her attention several times to get water refill and make space on the table since the table was overflowing and we couldn t move but she never came. As the bill arrived, I was opening my gifts with family so the waitress knew the occasion but she still decided to act disrespectful towards us. The total was 200$ and my brother who paid gave her a 15$ tip. In our opinion, a 15$ tip wasn t even deserved since we did not get any sort of service that night but we were still willing to give a tip because the food was good. She gave us a bad attitude and she went to complain to her manager about the tip amount. The manager came up to us and we immediately felt ASSAULTED. He was so mad, disrespectful and spoke in such an agressive tone. He said, and I quote Was the service that bad, was it that horrible that you couldn t even tip 15% my brother, confused, told him I m sorry but we did give a tip even if we didn t receive any type of service. That waiter said no, it s not enough. You have to give at least a 15% tip because that s the bare minimum in a restaurant, next time you have to give at least 15%. We were then chocked by his statement and told him that a 15% tip on that amount was equivalent to 30$ and we re not willing to tip 30$ for the inexistant service we got because like a said, they forgot 1 dish, we didn t have any napkins, we were missing 2 forks and 2 cups. The waitress, with her bad attitude? never came to refill our water and to clear the table because it was overflowing even after several times of trying to gain her attention by any means (like raising our hands). I m glad my brother stood his ground and didn t budge by giving him the 30$ even after we got treated so poorly. Even though the food was good, we will NEVER come back again after they treated us that way instead of apologizing and trying to improve on their customer service. We then stood up and left while all the staff were eyeing us down as if we were criminals that didn t pay. We felt so ashamed even though we paid 200$, plus the taxes and plus the tip. It s a shame that in 2024 instead of trying to improve and apologize to your paying customers, you treat them like they re some kind of animal. Overall, the experience was horrible and I don t think we re going to miss out on much after discovering that they got fined 1300$ earlier this year for not respecting cleanliness standards.

The seafood sundubu was tasty and hearty! We also shared the fried chicken (big pieces) and endive salad (nice presentation). Had colorful cocktails. However, would have been nice to leave when we wanted since the resto was not full (seems like they have a 2 hour limit).

Our server Kenta was SO great! We had a good time and the food was amazing, we ordered the spicy beef ramen and LA galbi short ribs w salad. Service was fast and the portion was good for the price. 10/10 would recommend!!

Exceptional service by our Waitress Kiko! Took care of us the whole night and very attentive to small details. I will definitely recommend bottles of Henessy and Jameson in this bar. Bonus! Bartender Winson was the cherry on top of our the night with his creative drinks.

I came here on a solo trip to Montreal and it was a really good choice! The food was really delicious and the pretty Korean person who did my braces was so kind and warm that I felt even better! I think Ill definitely come back again haha.

They told us we had an hour to eat. It took 25 min before someone came to take our order + 15 minute to prepare the meal so we had 20 minutes to eat. They came to ask about the bill when we were still eating. We left the restaurant, my friend still had a piece of fried chicken in her hand and had to eat it in the street. Knowing that we had an hour to eat, I expected a faster service from the staff...

Idk what happened, but the food went from really good to mediocre. This used to be my go to place for drinks and food. However, I found a fly in my pitcher once and usually the bibimbap comes with the sauce on the side, but now it is just drenched in so much liquid that the stone bowl cant even be used to make crispy burnt rice. They mustve changed cook or the menu, but this aint it.

Used to give this place 5 stars until they changed the menu. Now 1 star is more fitting. Somehow the food tested worse.

The old Ganadara Korean Restaurant now turned into a restobar! I liked the decor inside, the food, the service, but not so much the music They have quite a panoply of Korean dishes definitely worth trying! And for those who ve been wondering what Ganadara means, it s basically the first four letters in the Korean alphabet kinda like saying ABCD =)

Horrible service.. my friend had made a reservation for her birthday dinner and when we show up the hostess is automatically rude , completely ignored us when we told her we have a reservation only to find out that they cancelled it without even telling my friend. She said we were over and hour late so they cancelled it even though my friend reserved FOR 7 and we were on time. She the proceeded to show the hostess a text confirmation for the dinner at 7 but instead of seating us immediately or trying to find a solution the hostess told us to wait 10 minutes only to just make us leave like it was our fault... I am never be stepping foot in that restaurant in my life ever again i was very shocked and disappointed about how they were treating my friends and I( most of us were black) .

Probably one of the worst experiences I ve ever had in a restaurant. The waitress completely ignored us when we arrived for our reservation. She then proceeded to claim we didn t have a reservation even though we had proof and a confirmation message. She was nothing but rude and disrespectful when we were trying to figure out what the issue with our reservation was.

Music was deafening and service was terrible. Food was overpriced. The servers were texting and had their long hair down. Needs improvement and I couldn t recommend. Had to ask to order after no-one came over.

Very good korean food! Cheesy, juicy and savory! And the dessert is huuugeee! Awesome ambiance.

Everything was incredibly tasty and very fresh. Very fast service. The aloe and curaçao drink... Wow The only downside is that it was very cold near the entrance as well as the price of the dessert which is quite high simply for crushed ice and a little matcha syrup.

TLDR; the staff let their friends cut the line My friends and I came up from Ottawa and were really looking forward to coming here. When we arrived, we were told there would be about a 20 minute wait. We were fine waiting, however as we waited, another group of four came in. They knew the staff, seemed to be close friends even and we overheard that they didn t have a reservation. After a few minutes, they let this group jump ahead of us and were seated. We continued to wait but nothing. We asked the hostess about letting her friends jump the line and she denied it, lying to our face. We ended up leaving and were really disappointed. Please do better next time.

First off, two words: flavoured soju. They got most of em. Most notably missed is green apple. If you re trying to get your soju on in a place with a great vibe, this is the place to do it. Food here is incredible. I haven t tried a single thing on their menu that hasn t blown me away. Whether you come here for appetizers or for a full meal, you can expect excellence! The price on food is very reasonable ($10 for appetizers, $50 for very large platters); nothing is overpriced. Service can be slow at times, but what can you really expect from such a fantastic and busy location? It can be frustrating waiting for the server to come deliver the bill, but the atmosphere helps make this a more comfortable wait.

Delicious food! I had the salmon bowl with the soju cocktail. The fried chicken appetizer is not only amazing, but the portion is generous (bigger than my meal!) Nice place, but the service was a little slow

Incredibly disappointing experience. We went here two years ago and had a great time, it s sad to see the menu deteriorate. When you go onto their site, you ll find the old menu. When we got to the restaurant and scanned the QR code the menu has changed and not in a good way. All the sashimi s were taken out and there was no more salad options. Basically everything had the same mayo dipping sauce- we ordered 3 different plates with all the same sauce, super repetitive flavours. The whole squid is half the size it used to be and their tuna tataki is a COMPLETELY different plate, we mistakenly ordered two thinking it was the same tuna tataki from last time and it was not the same at all, the new one is covered in this mayo sauce and has shredded cabbage- basically looks like a big mac and the old one had a zesty soy base with green onion and caviar (delicious, for old dishes look at last 2 photos) The waiter also recommended us the pork belly and kimchi dish, when it came out it was incredibly dry and unseasoned we basically we forced ourselves to try a few pieces and the kimchi that came with it had become soggy from being put in the same hot plate as the pork. We told the waiter this and he came back offering us 50% off on that plate, without trying to rectify the situation. All the dishes were so heavy with cream, mayo or fried you get tired of the flavours so quickly. Overall, ganadara bar really went downhill I would only recommend this place for the drinks the food quality isn t worth the price.

Man I can t get that udon out of my head. GET THE LOBSTER CREAMY UDON YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT AHHH This place was recommended by a few of our friends from Montreal. It was a rainy day and we rushed in. First thing I see is a wall lined with soju. I good sign. we didn t have a reservation, but we still got a seat. It was relatively full, but eventually the bar got fully full. It s a really nicely designed place. Open, can fit many people, but not cramped, and still modern. I ordered the Capri, my friend, a blueberry beer, and my other friend sold on top of two yogurt soju drinks. For food, a rice bowl, the duck creamy udon, and the lobster creamy udon. Appetizers being takoyaki and chicken skin. My God, the food was so good. The chicken skin is kind of meh. Only seasoning is sprinkled onto the top of the sauce you can dip into. The skin itself was really plain, and all you can taste is the oil. But everything else? Godly. The servers were really nice, and you could tell they re pretty relaxed with each other. The bill was expensive, but honestly nothing too big for the quality. Definitely will be back here, thank you so much for having me! :)

Overall a great experience, the food was delicious, we had the shrimp and duck undon and bingsu for dessert, their house beer is nothing special but they give a lot. They are really strict on the max 2 hr reservation rule. And I understand it but the first time, the waiter mistaken us for another table and said Ill need to kick you guys out, lol like ok, calm down, we just got here. Then the second time, he said the same thing but there are more polite ways to ask for clients to leave. I also found they took some time to take our order, I had to get the waiters attention knowing we had a time limit. Music got ridiculously loud around 9:30pm and I understand its a bar but it was hard to hear ourselves talk. At least the food was served quickly and was good!

Excellent place to share, dine and have a good time. The luxury attention, the owners of the place work with their employees, are one more of them. The food is very varied, exquisite, abundant. I recommend it 100%. I had an incredible time

One of my favourite restaurants in Montreal. Fun for date nights are night out with friends and not too expensive ! The udons are all delicious, the rosé tteokbokki is insane but the star of the show is the Salmon Tank !!!!! I always order it. Best raw salmon I ve ever had

Really good selection of drinks (yogurt soju was amazing), the udon was said to be real good according to friends. The chicken rice thing I ordered (I forgot the name) was also very good. Service was nice and prompt.

Great food and reasonably priced! Love the tteokbokki and ramyun. I miss the old ganadara location on maisonneuve, their food was unbeatable!!! Compared to all the other ganadara locations, ganadara bar is the closest to its old restaurant in terms of taste and food quality. The reason I put 4 stars is their service could be better. When we walked in we were waiting by the door without getting acknowledged with many employees passing by and looking at us. A simple Hi we will be with you shortly would of been nice. Once seated the waitress was very nice. Also not a big fan of their drinks unfortunately, they are all very sweet and sugary.

We have been to this restaurant three times. Unfortunately the third time wasn t as great as the first two. The salmon Poké bowl had far too much hot spice than it had ever had before and that took away from all the wonderful flavors that have been expected. The beef short ribs, although tasty were too tough. We were also disappointed in the pitcher of drinks we ordered. At $33 apiece we did not just expect it to taste good. After ordering two pitchers for four people it felt like there was no alcohol in it at all. What was new and impressive was the large patio on the sidewalk.

I wanted to run away and never been seen again, sign into one of those silent retirements, no kidding. The music was so loud I couldn t even think and they did not have AC then I asked to the waitress for a fresh type of dish, cause with that heat and she recommended me the saumon poke bowl. (My stomach still hurts, btw) that thing was spicy spicy, Mexican food spicy. I couldn t even talk, with the heat, the music so loud and mosquitoes around my salad I was in hell. Hell, hell. Just try and go NOT in summer hot days. And if you want to talk to your accompanies, don t go there, you would barely be able to think. Also, they make it look more glamorous than it really is, just now is not like that.

It s so rare I write a bad review, but I feel the responsibility to warn others not to waste their hard earned money and time here . Worst bibimbap I ve ever had in my life, it consisted of only rice, lackluster bulgogi, and shredded lettuce!! Not a vegetable to be found! My friend s chicken bibimbap had almost NO MEAT in it!! Literally 2 tiny pieces in a giant bowl. Again no vegetables. This is not bibimbap and not worth $19. Service was also not great, server dropped food off and never returned to our table.

I always take any of the Udon Noodles and they are very good. As well as the Salmon Tank, Rose Tteokbokki, and Takoyaki. - Service (2/5) : Food / Drinks arrive fast, but the service we get from the waiter/waitress is none existent. We always have to call them, to order more stuff. It is quite annoying. - Atmosphere (3/5) : Very loud music, it s hard to understand each other. Very dark light. Great bar ambiance for group of friends, but would not bring a date here for instance. Overall, I ve been coming to Bar Ganadara since before Covid-19, and I ve never been disappointed in their food. However, the service has been lacking recently (3/5). Wednesday July 7th 5:30 PM 2021 One of my favourite place to hang out with my friends. Used to be the place I hung out the most before Covid-19. It is my number 1 go to if I m looking for a place with cheap and delicious food, and great drinks. Food is amazing and prices are right. Drinks and Soju are tasty. The Shrimps / Pork Udon are good and the Yogurt Soju as well. However, my friends and I were very disappointed to see that they removed the Mango Bingsu from their Menu. It used to be our favourite dessert. The only thing that bothered us is the fact we were in a rush to order our food and eat by our waitress since we only had the table for 2 hours. Overall, still one of my favourite place (5/5)!

This is my favourite restaurant in Montreal! Awesome atmosphere for a group dinner or date. Everything is sooo tasty, especially, the creamy Pork Udon (its the best udon). Id highly recommend the yogurt soju cocktail :) The Rose Tteokbokki is SO good. Make sure to eat the sausage with the rice cake at the same time. The salmon tataki is a must. The gimari is flavourless but has an amazinggg texture and I love it. Also recco the bibimbap (make sure to scrape the burnt rice it adds a nice crunch seriously) The skewers aren t great. Attentive service. Creamy udon is highly recommended, I would come back for this one. However, the rosé tteokbokki left me feeling that I could make it better at home. Could consider replacing the sausage with fish cake to elevate the dish.

Poor billing system, good food. Service is mediocre. Worst billing system I ve ever experienced in any restaurant. Even the busiest restaurant respect each individuals payments and don t require 1 person to pay the entire bill or for everything to be split evenly even though all 20 people took different things.

A very nice place that combines both a bar and a restaurant I had the beef bibimbap and I was delicious. The portion was quite big The decoration is original and pleasant and the staff is very professional

I have been a loyal fan of this restaurant and always recommend it to my friends. However, I don t know when it started, but they began to put so much pressure on customers to leave as soon as possible. Although the reservation is for 2 hours, they start to urge you to go away as soon as you finish your meal. I m okay with leaving and giving the table to others when I m finished, but it just doesn t feel good to almost feel forced out. Apart from this, the general service has declined compared to before. Im quite disappointed, especially since it was once my favorite restaurant in Montreal.

Great selection of makgeolli, and plenty of other drinks and snacks, best for small to medium sized groups. Great energy and vibe.

This restaurant had a really good ambiance. The decoration was really nice and the music was good too. Foods were really tasty and well presented. The tobokki rosé was phenomenal. And everything that we had ordered were really delicious. Cocktails were also good (but nothing extraordinary). The prices were overall okay. Service on the other hand was bad, we had to ask someone to come to make our order after we had sitted for 35 min. And same thing when we had finished to eat, we have to ask for a waitress for the bill and take out containers for our leftovers. And when we were eating, nobody had came to ask if everything was okay. We were a bit disappointed. If you have lots of time on that day, maybe you will enjoy it.

We went here around 5pm so we did not have to wait to be seated. The food was so good! This was my second time coming here and I recommend spicy seafood udon!

I booked for 2 people on a Tuesday evening via the online platform. The hours on Google indicate that the restaurant is open, and I received a reservation confirmation. Unfortunately, when I arrived in front of this restaurant at the time of reservation, everything was closed, with no explanation posted. The cuisine is certainly very good, but it is a logistical disaster from the point of view of managing opening hours and reservations.

Its definitely geared towards younger, uni students, but if you have a decent party and want a fun time out with your friends, I recommend this spot for some great fusion dishes, beers and soju. I definitely recommend the fried chicken, the bulgogi poutine and the udon dishes.

One of my go-to places. The food is good, lots of options for drinks/cocktails and the ambience is great especially in the evening.
