Excellent experience ! The service is so quick and the foods are delicious . Also . It is the BYOB all you can eat restaurant! We will be back for sure !
Pro: the entrees were good. Staff was friendly. BYOW. Decor is beautiful. Cons: The tablet was disgustingly dirty. No hot drinks are offered. The sushi was a solid 2.5/5 52 dollars after tax.
Stopped here for dinner on a Tuesday. It was not very busy and easy to get a table. The sushi was good, with a decent selection of options - there were quite a few other options (noodles, meats, etc.) but I didn’t try them. Presentation was amazing. Overall decent place downtown. I would go again!
Fisshu Sushi A Volonté is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers, offering an “all-you-can-eat” experience with a wide variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. The sushi and rolls are always prepared with care, ensuring high-quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. The staff is friendly, attentive, and provides efficient service, even during busy hours. The restaurant’s ambiance is cozy and modern, making it perfect for both casual outings and special gatherings. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy unlimited sushi with excellent service at a reasonable price, Fisshu Sushi A Volonté is highly recommended.
I recently dined at Fisshu Sushi À Volonté, an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant in Montreal. The price per person is 42.99 CAD, with a 10% discount if you pay in cash. However, be aware that the final price came to 57 CAD per person with tax, which was a bit of a surprise, so keep that in mind. The dining experience is mostly self-service—you order food electronically via a tablet, and the dishes are prepared and served quickly, sometimes with the help of a robot. The food itself was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was a great experience with efficient service and tasty offerings, just be prepared for the tax on top of the listed prices.
Very good food, all you can eat with many options to choose from, land to sea. The beef tataki is heavy on the black pepper and will give a kick, the white tuna carpaccio was smooth/velvety to the tongue, melting almost instantly. The rice was a little on the dry side but the taste was still very good. The fried banana was simply delicious and the ice cream hit the spot
I was so shocked by the speed of the service. We literally got our order out in less than 5 minutes. Easy tablet order system and robot service which is very cute. Food was decent. Prices were ok. You can bring your own wine in this restaurant.
What can I say about this place: it was my first time here, take-out, but I was pleasantly surprised, they are running a promo, $30 per person for unlimited, on Sunday, and you can bring your own wine, very neighborly, cool. I took salmon mix and eel rolls, sushi without imagination to be honest, just ordinary, but tasty. The place is pleasant, the staff is friendly, and, by the way, everything was prepared quickly. Bottom line: I’ll come with my guilt, that’s for sure, and try your improvisations, thank you
Quality service, enough to fill your belly!!!!!! I recommend !!!!!!!! YOKAI!
Very good, courteous service
The place is beautiful, the food is exquisite! Our only mistake noted was our location, not far from the entrance. I was frozen throughout the entire meal. But this in no way affects the quality of the food
I had a disappointing experience at UMA Sushi. The staff was unhelpful and failed to explain how the restaurant operates, especially about their policy of charging for wastage. If we had been informed properly, we would have ordered more carefully. The food itself was subpar, making the experience even worse. With so many sushi places nearby, I d recommend exploring other options instead of falling for the unlimited food offer here. Reply to the owner: Your staff gave us only one hour because they had a party later, so full price but half time. And you still account wastage? Nice business model. I would like to call this RUDE management and RUDE staffs.
Restaurant very well located on Ste-Catherine Street. The staff is courteous and friendly. The service is fast despite the crowds for dinner. The sushi was delicious and fresh. There is plenty of variety available and the quality is comparable to other all-you-can-eat sushi. The only negative point of sushi is the rice. When you take the sushi with the bowls, the rice is a little hard (as if it is not cooked enough), tends to fall and does not hold together. Its a little tiring having to pick up the rice with the chopsticks that has fallen into the soybeans or onto the plate. Looks like the rice wasnt sticky and cooked enough to hold together in 1 piece. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.
Very good quality sushi for an all-you-can-eat type restaurant. Service is not always consistent.
I feel like I was scammed by paying over $100 only to receive an incomplete order and be rushed to finish the meal in less than 20 minutes with 2 kids. In addition, I complain and they do nothing, dont even apologize, because according to them the person at the entrance told us the closing time, but they only asked us for how many people. Very disappointed, NOT RECOMMENDED, poor experience!
Do I deserve this kind of food and service? So good that my heart dropped Est-ce que je mérite vraiment ce genre de nourriture et de service ? C est absolute parfait Kid-friendliness: Suitable for children like me
Avoid at all cost
The quality has greatly declined since last year. Food quality is pretty average for the price. We were shown the door in a rather cavalier manner. Very disappointed.. it was the last time I set foot in this place. I no longer recommend this restaurant.
The food was excellent, the atmosphere of the restaurant was also pleasant. On the other hand, me and my friend hadnt finished and they took away the tablet... Its an at-will restaurant, they dont have the right to take away the tablet from us.
The people and place were nice. The food was typical of all you can eat sushi places. The service was slower in comparison, considering the low traffic when we were there. It took awhile to get our food even when there were only two families present (a total of 6 customers in the restaurant). The price was way higher than expected, they charged our kids (3 & 6) as much as they did two adults. We didnt have any waste. Our overall bill was nearly $200. Most all you can eat sushi places that weve been to were about half the price (with beer!). I wouldnt go there again.
Very disappointing customer service.
Yes, quite a deterioration in 1 year in the quality of the food. It was quite ordinary, peanut ravioli that didnt taste like peanuts. In addition to serving cold chicken, the longer it went on, the longer it took to receive the food. And the icing on the sundae was that they showed us the door because customers were waiting! Uhhh it s because we paid $100 for 2 people so we expected to stay 2 hours without getting hounded! Well that was the last time. In addition, lets say French is not there too. I no longer recommend this restaurant
First time, quick and good, to do again when we are in town
I had the opportunity to go to Fisshuu several times. The service is fast and the menu is varied and compares very well with the other All You Can Eat Sushi Restaurants. I recommend.
The food rather ordinary but fun, there is a lot of choice but nothing to fall in love with. Choice A la carte or at will. Fair price for those with a big appetite. Menu in several languages but the staff speaks mostly English. In general it is correct.
86$ for 10 and 11 years old kid
The people serving us our dinner, were on their phones the entire meal, not only did they miss our order once, twice or three times but four times, and after all that we went to pay and of course given the service we received we didnt give much advice, and they asked us if we were sure of ourselves???? Were in Canada, not the United States, tips dont make a servers salary, its a bonus to say that its a good service, not an obligation, its n no matter what! We were regulars, once ~ a month or systematically even if the tip was sometimes already included in the order we included an extra tip, we wont come back!
Divine
Delicious! My kids love this place. Ps.they have a robot. Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: Yess
Fantastic foods . And the environment is so nice and clean. Fast foods and best service ever!
Very good I love the sashimi very quiet place I will definitely go back
there is a friendly robot and the servers are smiling. Plus, there are plenty of choices.
Was our favorite restaurant for *all you can eat*! Now we call to reserve for a Thursday 5 p.m. 1 day in advance we are told that no he has a lot of reservations and asks us for how many people we answer 2 and he tells us no place?! Were going to find another restaurant now. THANKS
Let me start by saying that it was a dirty and very old , rundown place! How ever this is now the past and they just renovated completely......and it looks just amazing nothing less. The food quality and variation were always great. Last month I were there for the first time and I complained and they took it into the consideration! They is always place for improvement. Nice job!!!
Novel decoration ~ fresh ingredients Recommended! !
The quality and cleanliness seem to decline with each visit.
The facilities in the store have been upgraded, but the quality of the food has been downgraded. The sashimi is as thin as paper, the sushi falls apart as soon as you pinch it, and the thin rolls are so thin that you cant even notice the meat unless you look carefully, because they are all filled with rice. The teriyaki steak is even more exquisite. I didnt give it one star because the quality of your food was quite good in the past. Let me give you a piece of advice, don t just upgrade your appearance, but also upgrade your chefs. If they can t make sushi well and they like to mess around, just let them go.
Worst food and service ever
The all you can eat sushis, fried dishes and the service were very good. There was even an automated robot delivering certain plates. We could bring our wine and drink while eating. If youre lucky, there is some parking around but best to come by metro. The only downside is the ice cream. It didnt really taste like fresh mango. Could be a little better in quality.
It is a very nice place and the food is delicious, we had a really great time. :)
I usually order from ubereats and it s usually fresh. This time was so unfresh and I hope I don t get food poisoning . Also they didn t bring soy sauce, just a very sugarry sauce (probably to cover the flavor of the lack of freshness )
The torched salmon and the oilfish sashimi are a must try!
Quick service and good food !
The sushi and the service is top notch.
They lied to us about the tip, they did not tell us that the tip was paid in advance even though we had no quality service
Always fresh, always good, always clean.
The food was good, the place is nice, and the service was okay. However, one thing I didnt like is that they automatically include a 20% tip, even if youre not satisfied with the service. I believe tipping percentage should be up to the customer.
the dishes are bland, no taste but good point for creativity average quality even for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. the dishes are not worth the price
Kraft singles on a Maki. That s just wrong. Not authentic by any means.
Good destination if you are in downtown Montreal and hungry , not too much you pay for AYCE and BYB so dont expect you will have your best suchi and sashimi in your life.
I ate better
Very good all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, with a nice variety plus being fresh. Excellent price, it gives a 10% off discount if paying cash and tips are included
Really disappointed. Lately they changed the pricing for kids. Used to be half price for children under 12 and free for under 6 and I took again my family to have lunch again there and now it is FULL PRICE for anyone above 6 years old. Totally ridiculous to think my 9 year old boy eats as much as me. He barely eats third of what I eat. It would have costed me around $170 (lunch at noon) for 2 adults and 3 kids (tax tips included). We turned around and went to another place. Fisshu, you should review the pricing for kids. Lunch used to be 16.99$ just couple of years ago and now it is $28.99 and I kind continued coming but not coming anymore.
Food was service is great. The food is really outstanding! Every meal we had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I really suggest Sushi a Volonte. Recommended dishes
Good in terms of service, slightly expensive but unlimited buffet. Not a wide choice but sufficient.
Very good sushi place for an « all you can eat ». I just find it a little pricey. Also, it s hard to find a parking space.
There is even a robot that serves you at the table.
This is my second time going to this restaurant. The first time was great; I had a good experience, and everything was highly enjoyable. My sister is visiting from the USA with her family, so I recommended it to her. However, I was shocked by the service this time. Some of the food we ordered never arrived. Additionally, the server was pushing us to pay in cash to get a 10% discount. When we said we didn t have cash, he recommended going to an ATM to withdraw money. Even though we said we were okay with paying by credit card, he insisted and said he would accept USD without converting it, counting it as Canadian dollars.
Came here tonight for dinner with my wife. We were told the all-you-can-eat was $40 pp, with a 10% discount if paid by cash. We got a $97 bill (paid by cash) with no explanation. Food was amazing and service was very quick, so decided not to cause a fuss. My guess is theyve added a service charge on top of the $72 we shouldve been charged. Make of that what you will :)
THE CUCHIS TAKE BCP FROM TAMP TO ARIVE Vegetarian options: He has tofu Dietary restrictions: Pooh Wheelchair accessibility: He doesnt have any
SUSHI TAKES TIME TO ARRIVE
Applies a mandatory service tax (Tips) of $5, this is not normal and may even be illegal
All you can eat is never worth it. Low quality sushi offered here.
Pay attention; they took an extra 15% from us because we were in a group of 5. It came to $38
This restaurant has flabbergasted me with really amazing and delicious food! Id like to thank this restaurant for letting me and my family have such a good time. I would definitely come back again.
Best sushi I have ever had - the service was impeccable - every dish more delicious than the next. A must visit in Montreal
This place is a hole in the wall sushi mill that performs poorly with large groups and regularly cancels large table orders. Food is fine, but you wont be impressed with order accuracy.
Bad experience, very long service, we didnt receive the whole order, too expensive for what it is. At this price you eat much better elsewhere.
Food was great! A little confusing on how to order but once we got the hang of it, was great! Very very busy however we went on a Saturday evening! We did a reservation for a larger group of people! Overall great experience has a good variety on the menu! Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices
Disappointed by the welcome. Order not always very orderly (dessert and main course served at the same time) But fun and ultimately good value for money.
Always my go to when i crave all you can eat sushi. Service is fast and efficient. Food is always fresh and they a have a nice selection of sushi but also plates coming from the kitchen. Bring your own wine is a nice bonus. Its easy to overeat there..pace yourself!
Everything is delicious. The service is fast and careful.
Green transparent worm in salmon sashimi. Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was not pleasant. Found a worm on my sashimi plate that is alive. At first, I didn t want to make a fuss out of it, so I just told the staff and returned it. They did apologize about the experience BUT refused to give me a refund when I asked. The manager s explanation was, the weather is hot so flies can fly into the restaurant. The place next door has a lot of flies too. And I explained it was a worm, instead of the ones with wings. How is it supposed to get in and wiggle all the way to my table and climb up to my sashimi plate? I guess the best explanation would be, the flies flew in a few days ago, and lay eggs in the kitchen. That is an even bigger concern. Especially when this is a sushi restaurant and food are served cold and raw. Unfortunately, I didn t take a picture because like I ve said I wasn t planning on being dramatic, but their attitude wasn t professional and didn t offer me a valid explanation so I thought I should warn the others who are planning on dinning here. They also mentioned I can leave my name here and give me a discount in the future, but why would someone come here again when the food has safety issues, and the staff/manager is impolite? I can send you my receipt if anyone doubts me. Update: I got diarrhea 2 hours later
Very good sushi but a little expensive. $28.99/person unlimited menu at lunchtime during the week.
There is a robot that serves you food so that is pretty cool.
A robot serving your order and everyone is videotaping the experience!! That s a great Marketing strategy. The food was really delicious, sashimi is included in the ALL YOU CAN EAT and the lunch menu had a great variety. I ll definitely visit this restaurant again.
I gave it 3 stars because $4.99 for a simple can of soft drink is gouging customers. While I was there everyone drank the water provided, no one bought a soft drink. $250 would be reasonable and you would still make a profit
Vegetarian options: Plusieurs sushis végétariens, tous délicieux Food
I ve eaten here several times and the food has always been good. So tonight I order dinner via Uber eats. It was dreadful. Tasteless small makis, cold soup, undercooked edamames, and eel in the combo. Very disappointing as it was expensive. Clearly less care is given to takeouts.
I ordered on ubereat and it is inedible, the quantity has deteriorated so much, stomach cramps after eating! I dont recommend at all
Good variety that pleased both the sushi fan and the newly exploring sushi. A surprise star was the General Tao Chicken from the Wok session, and the salmon sashimi was also a hit. I found it very helpful that the photos on each item on the tablet were very true to delivery, which made getting a sense of what I was ordering as someone new to sushi very helpful. Vegetarian options: There is a good selection of vegetarian options available, though most have a healthy dose of mayo so up to the diner to know if this is their preference.
We are frequent customers but there are some faults, the food is good but for a while here it was poorly cooked and salty but now they have reduced the portions a lot and for the price we expect better quality
Top value for money at lunch on Saturday!
Be careful, they put 15% tip on your bill without asking your opinion and they call it service. Please note that it is illegal to do this in Quebec. However, the sushi is very good and the staff very nice, Im a little disappointed frankly
Good good sushi, really tasty, the robot waiter is asking for a nice comment 20 times per customer fix it
Fast service! Tablet for ordering and robot server! Great experience
We were a big group, but their service was fast considering it was during busy lunch hours. Tasty skewers. Cash payment get 10% discount.
Saturday evening July 20: my experience was extremely disappointing... I was served dragon eyes from the day before which were fried again (see photo). The sushi and the dishes were not fresh, I had the impression that the sushi came from a fridge, in the past he made them gradually. Pre COVID it was the ideal place, unfortunately the quality is no longer there, I have been to this restaurant more than twenty times since it opened and this evening I am so disappointed. Fortunately, the waiters were very friendly.
Excellent service, great discovery!
We were a group of almost 30 people and they were very flexible with our reserved time as we had to call to change several times. Once arrived, the service was incredibly quick. The staff was super friendly and fast. The food was amazing.
ive been there 3 or 4 times in my life and ive really enjoyed every visit! the entry fee has definitely gotten more expensive over the years but i honestly dont mind it that much. the food, i would say, is just fine to be honest. its not outstanding by any means but it makes for a nice and filling meal. the service is quick and the contact is minimal since we order from an ipad on the side. would definitely return!
The sushi at Fisshu is top-notch! The sashimi melts in your mouth, and the sushi rolls are beautifully crafted. The ambiance is lovely, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic date night.
yakitori skewers were grilled to perfection, and the miso soup was comforting. Highly recommend trying their signature black dragon roll!
I liked the restaurants ambience and decor. The food was decent for an AYCE sushi place. I liked their torched nigiri, but everything else was very average. Tempuras were below average.
Very good lunch, all you can eat Several options
Good all you can eat sushi restaurant. There is a good variety of dishes and sushi to order, and the fish was very fresh. The robot waiter is very cute too. I was a little disappointed with the rice which didnt look super fresh. I dont recommend the grilled chicken, which was quite dry.
Good food and service. They have a robot server which was unique
Decent food (on the other hand, the desserts are inedible), wide choice, beautiful presentation, fast service (although 45 dollars is a little expensive)
Weve chosen rolls and found it to be a real value winner for our hungry families. much appreciated by all.
Their sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the variety of ice cream flavors was the perfect ending to our meal. Highly recommend!
sushi pizza was a fun and delicious addition to the traditional offerings.
Just went for lunch. I went right to the bathroom to wash up. The toilet wasn t flushing and full of waste. Then the food wasn t fresh and there was always too much rice to sushi ratio. Also, not a great selection for lunch. We arrived just after 1 pm and the kitchen closed at 2 pm (I found this to be early for a Friday afternoon). The service was decent, they also had a robot that was going around saying something along the lines that it was the best sushi spot in Montreal which is a stretch. We used to go for dinner a while back and had no issues. I wonder what happened for the quality to go down so much. Parking: Montreal construction downtown is always a mess.
Super fast service, the sushi is good but not excellent. We can eat at our own expense. Bring your always appreciated Vun
As a sushi lover, I was thoroughly impressed with Fisshu. The sashimi slices were thick and succulent, showing off the quality of their ingredients.
Fisshu buffet is a delight for foodies. The Nigeria dish was a pleasant surprise with its unique combination of flavors.
Fresh sushis, excellent service.
Just went for lunch, the overall experience was good.
staff are friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
YUMMY SUSHI. staff are knowledgeable about the menu and can provide great recommendations if youre unsure what to order.
Edamame and a few other options werent exactly as described. Will go there to further update my review.
Its way overpriced, slow service and we didnt really understand the menu.
Fisshu is the perfect spot for a sushi feast. The ambiance is inviting, and the selection of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes is fantastic. Bring your own wine policy is a huge plus. I cant wait to return with friends!
I do not recommend this restaurant at all. In itself the food is ok (but still) but my problem is that the waitress dared to ASK us for a tip. Already saying that we had not paid for the service but it is included and telling us that this practice is obligatory in Canada. Already there is a difference between service and tipping which is also at the discretion of the customer. To pass this off as an obligation is just shameful.
Wobbly table. The makis barely disintegrate, we take them from the tray, not surprising given the speed at which they arrive on the table. The sizes of the sashimi are reduced as more are ordered. The waiter comes with half the drinks. The waitress wants to impose a 15% tip for non-existent service, not a word spoken during the service (except to ask for a tip) everything is done on a tablet, they just place and pick up dishes by pulling their mouths. We wont come back!
Sadly everything is prep in advance. Nothing is fresh. Sadly a very small selection of sushi for lunch Food
For the same price, there are really better all-you-can-eats! The rice was dry making the makis very average. The sashimi is cut ridiculously small (2-3 made a normal serving) but the taste was good. Avocados are almost non-existent even in avocado hosomakis. Even the miso soup was not good (much too diluted)!
A good sushi as much as you can eat
I went for dinner last Sunday. Its not bad but I also wouldnt go back. The sashimi is average to below average. The fish was not very flavourful. They made the pieces extremely tiny for some reason. 4 pieces = bite size. Anything that could be chewy was chewy and I ended up spitting up a lot of things like beef and squid(?) Because they were impossible to chew. I dont think Ive had worse seaweed salad. I feel the fish to rice ratio on the hand rolls and sushi could be better too. Especially the rose sushi. And Im not sure I like lettuce in my handrolls. On the plus side, the food came fairly quickly, almost everything I ordered arrived, and the empty dishes were cleared quickly enough.
Been a couple of times, not bad enough. You can eat it
BYOW policy is a great feature, making it the perfect place for a casual dinner with friends or a special celebration.
To recommend
sushi selection is excellent, and BYOW policy is a great bonus.
The overall impression is NOT the best. 1) We were waiting for a table more than 30 minutes. Despite that the reservation was made several days in advance. And we were with a baby, the administrator saw this, but still made us wait. 2) NOT family friendly. They did not offer a baby chair. There is no baby changing table in the washroom and there is absolutely no space there. 3) The quality of the sushi is Costco level. Maybe a little higher for teriyaki grill. All sushi with crab sticks (even dragons), the salmon is not attractive and does not look the freshest (like in the supermarket). There were no wine/cocktails on the menu. The ice cream is not the best - a lot of ice. 4) I was unpleasantly surprised by the bill. In the menu on Google Maps we read that they have a discount for children under 8 years old, but when they brought the bill they said that this is the old menu (1 year ago) and now they do not have this discount. They included tips in the bill for more than 15%, but it s up to me to decide how much to leave tips, not them. But I was not given this choice. 5) The only one plus is that the food was brought quickly. TOTAL: the disadvantages outweighed the advantages. We will never come back here again and do not recommend it.
What can I say... meh? The sushi is pretty hit or miss. The quality is average but at the same time its an all-you-can-eat thing so were not talking about haute cuisine either. There is a huge variety of choices so I think everyone can find something. Mention for the takoyaki which seemed to be made from a takoyaki machine and not fried as we see a little too often at MTl. The decor is really nice! The murals are very beautiful and the flags add a little extra! Unlike the service which I found quite cold. We put the plates down without any explanation so when we are a big group, we have no idea what has just happened. We came back to take some dishes which had just been put down quite aggressively. I found the price really expensive in the end. At this price I would definitely eat in a really good sushi restaurant.
Very Nice place
Best all you can eat sushi restaurant in Québec. Highly recommend.
If you are looking for nice sushi, fast serving and great service, you will definitely get the first two at Fisshu. Typically, when I go to a Sushi restaurant, I do not expect excellent service, so that I do not get disappointed. However, when the restaurant is on Ste-Catherine, right in the centre of the buzz, then I expect that higher standard. Service, in respect of attentiveness and greeting, unfortunately, is not the greatest, but not unpleasant. This is a buffet restaurant that I made a reservation for three, on a Saturday evening at 6pm. Inside is relatively classy, moderate noise level where you can have a descent conversation. It is a BYOB- and I did bring my own bottle of wine. Who said you cannot have red wine with sushi? We were immediately provided with a tablet to place our orders and 2 clean empty glass of wine, as we sat down. Food serving was lightning fast. There is sushi and then there is sushi. I am delightfully impressed with the quality and freshness of all the dishes we ordered, with no exceptions. Food presentation was excellent. Sushi torched right at our table. We served our own wine from start to finish. While I do not keep tab of what I ordered, I have a very good memory of what was on my order list and can reasonably confirm that there were not any voluntary back order cancellations. The portion size is more than descent and one has to read properly to see the unit of measure , some being served as 1-piece, others as 6-pieces. If you are inclined to order more beef, pork, chicken menu, you might find the menu not to support that many selections, however, for fish and seafood dishes, there are enough choices that I was satisfied with. There was no eye judgement whether we ordered too much or too little. Will I be back? Most certainly, I will.
The food and sushi were not of good quality
Although speedy and great service, decore is nice, place needs a thorough cleaning, food was OK not worth dollar value, but understand its downtown so it will be a higher $ point.
I went to your establishment today, the food is good and the menu varied. What I criticize happened in the addition the waiter did not suggest me but told me that I had the obligation to leave a tip I call it raket, I have been to several restaurants in Montreal and this is the first time that someone wants to force me to pay a tip so I refused. I said goodbye, no response. I do not recommend this establishment. Before coming I read the other comments and I saw a response from the owner who wrote in black and white that we give if we want without obligation.
They forced us to give 20 % tip
Aside from the heartburn and slow service it was not too bad.
Very nice restaurant, very good food and smiling team
Fantastic all-you-can-eat sushi spot! Impressive variety, speedy service, and top-notch torched nigiris. Overall, best AYCE sushi place Ive tried!
Excellent service and excellent dishes
The food was kinda disappointing, dry meat, the salmon didnt smell good I had to throw away the sushi and most of the food was just unflavoured
The place and the decoration were pretty, fast service, but the quality of the meal was not there, the chicken was dry without taste, we received noodles on a plate where the soap was still present.
We waited 3 hours... The delivery men left calmly while we were stuck waiting for an order that never came to the tables.
Not respectful staff
I made a togoodtogo in this brand, and dont do it! Otherwise you are Fisshu. The value of the basket was $30, and I only received about ten pieces of sushi. Waste of time and money...
We agree, here we are not in the high end sushi range because we are offering an all you can eat sushi place. However, for this type of offer we are in the register of the best. More than 150 choices including starters (series of tom yum, sour, miso, wonton soups and salads including the famous one with seaweed, tempuras of all kinds and a wide variety of grilled meats and dishes, whether stir-fries, wok and ramens and bowls For sushi, you are treated to a large selection of makis (traditional, fried or flambéed), a good choice of sashimi, nigiri rice balls, cones and sushi pizza. from tatakis to terriyakis To complete the adventure, 3 types of desserts: cold (varied ice cream flavors), hot (fried fruit, sesame ball, Japanese bread) and maki dessert. $40 plus taxes Monday to Thursday for dinner. Mention: shrimp skewers with garlic sauce, fried squid and giant mussel with creamy wasabi sauce. Discovery: 3 kinds of ravioli (Japanese, boiled and peanut sauce) Criticism: the staff makes no effort to articulate a single word in French. Vegetarian options: Large range of vegetarian dishes and sushi. Dietary restrictions: This can be difficult for those who need to avoid cross-contamination. Parking: Can be difficult to find parking nearby like everywhere in the city center. Ideal to go there by metro Kid-friendliness: Perhaps not profitable with young children but certainly a good return on investment with teenage ogres in the midst of a growth spurt. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access no steps
Incredible food, the dishes are tasty and varied, the service is almost instantaneous between ordering and arrival at the table, I recommend
The food was just fine ( not the best sushi nor the best service) but what pushed me to write this comment is how they obliged us to tip ( we were 2 persons) I wouldnt go there again, and know guys that when we like the service we tip without telling us, but your service isnt the best, a smile would be nice, the only smile we saw was few seconds before paying. Not coming back anyway.
Sorry for the restaurant and the employees but my review is for future customers. Ive been going to all-you-can-eat sushi long enough to say that the food was downright mediocre. The rice wasnt even sushi rice (neither was the preparation since the rice didnt hold together), the sashimi looked tired and defrosted, the nigiri, makis and pizza sushi were whipped together. -quickly without any outfit, the hosomakis were ridiculous (browned and microscopic avocado). Forced to ask for wasabi and ginger twice even though they were on our order. The ginger looked like it had been picked up from other plates, it was so dry and decrepit. I have never eaten such flat and shrunken sushi, especially since the bill was significantly higher than elsewhere. It could be called wish sushi. Its really not quality. No risk of me going back.
Very disappointed Bad experience its true that they are fast but not the sushi is terrible and we were required to tip at least 16 dollars it was an obligation not a tip
Great service and the food was absolutely delicious . A little pricey but the best buffet by far. A1 !!
Delicious food for all you can eat! Large variety of sushi and meals. Gets very busy after 6h30 pm and only 3 servers running around so I prefert to go around 5-6pm max Vegetarian options: Very few vegeterian options. Parking: Hard to find, paid parking in the streets Kid-friendliness: Saw a few older kids in the restaurant but definitely not for toddlers or infants Wheelchair accessibility: One small step (maybe 2 inch) but no automatic doors. No bathroom accessibility.
The sushi was really not fresh and in bad taste. First and last time!
The food is delicious and the hostess is adorable!
We were server sushi that we ordered in less than a minute. The sushi seemed to be very old, probably left over. The rice was old and stale, you can easily tell. The sushi (seafood and fish) did not feel fresh whatsoever. Then we were served another batch that seemed to have very old rice. Def wouldnt recommend this spot, do yourself a favor and save your $50
Sashimi tasted like fridge, rice was not fully cooked, tempura had too much tempura and the maki were cold as if they were sitting out. The grilled meats were not cooked properly and the ribs and salmon were 100% fat. Although their HOT dishes were delicious, such as the Miso soup, the garlic steak and the brochettes... not the ramen, though. As for service, it was fast and the waiters were nice enough...
Long wait despite reservation. The servers did not all speak French. The pad thai is delicious!
The service is very nice and fast. You dont have to wait long for the food to come to the table. The waiters are polite and efficient. The food quality is so-so for Asian taste. The sushi rice was a little too dry and the soy sauce is way too salty for the wasabi. Most of the seasoning is not correct and generally toward sweet side (Maybe to accommodate Western customers, who knows? At least we didnt see any Asian beside us in the restaurant).
Very delicious all you can eat sushi restaurant
I am a vegetarian who doesnt eat eggs. Went here to try sushi. I paid 38$ for 4 pieces of sushi and a mongo ice cream which was artificially flavored. A strict no no from my side of you are a vegetarian. And I went here with a group. And even the servers had a hard time identifying the orders that they served us. Vegetarian options: None were there. It was a waste of money.
Please bring back the Saxophone Man! He was the BEST! My sushi experience is not complete without hearing Careless Whisper on that mans sax.
Be aware of all you can eat menu: order everything (as much as you can eat) together on round 1. My round 1 took 10 mins, round 2 took 35 mins, and round 3 never arrived after I waited 65 mins...
Excellent sushi and great service. Just don t waste your time making a reservation; it s pretty much first come, first served. I called ahead of time and was told I needed a reservation. Once I got there, had lineup and wait like everyone else. Other thAn that, great AYCE.
Our last visit to Fisshu was good but unfortunately, we will wait several months before returning there I think. The Beef Tataki, our favorite dish, was heavy on very thin pepper and low quality. The meat was not as usual. The situation did not improve even after notifying the server. The music in the restaurant was that of an elevator, too bad! The atmosphere, food and service were very different on St. Patricks Day. Anyway, one of these days Fisshu, maybe!
Its a sushi all you can eat with multiple varieties, Food was very good, it was all freshly made, service was okay , it took time to get all of our order because it was very crowded, but the place is huge so you will always be seated. Fav item: sushi pizza Least favorable: dragon eye Overall its good
I loved their menu!
6 of us went on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. to eat. Fast service, and excellent sushi. Even our young children devoured everything. When we got to dessert, the kids loved the ice cream.
This is probably the best all you can eat that Ive ever been to, the quality of the meat is actually really good. The staff was also very friendly and probably the fastest Ive ever seen at an all you can eat. Truly worth the money
Very good restaurant with good service with their tablet to choose from and a very warm welcome, delicious dishes with their pretty colors. To redo
Fresh sushi . Fast service .
My wife and I (also female) went to Fisshu tonight for Valentine s Day. The food was great, the service was alright they were giving roses to all women accompanied by a man at the time of payment. When we paid, we got only one bill but they didn t give us any roses but they gave one to literally every other table with a man and a woman that might seem like a little detail but I feel like they shouldn t just assume and give every women or not at all.
Booked Fisshu for a gathering of 25 people. The restaurant was very accommodating and prompt in its replies. The food was of a high quality and no delays or others issues were experienced.
Slightly dry rice and small pieces of sashimi given the price
Very good sushi and fast service. Vegetarian options: Cucumber maki, avocado. Vegetable ramen, hot and sour soup, etc. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant and toilets on the ground floor. No stairs.
