As someone who has frequented Bhive to study, I m beyond disappointed with the treatment I ve received. Over the past few days, I ve felt constantly watched by a specific staff member who would come close to where I was sitting, making it obvious that he was monitoring me. This made me incredibly uncomfortable. I ve never spoken to or bothered this individual, nor have I caused any trouble during my visits. Despite this, he has consistently targeted me with rude remarks. During my most recent visit, after arriving at 9:50AM to study, I planned to order when I was ready. By 11:15 AM, he came up to me in front of everyone and said, You ve been here for five hours and haven t ordered go ahead and place your order . Meanwhile, other customers nearby who hadn t ordered were ignored. Once, when I took out a small snack, he returned to say I couldn t eat outside food, clearly trying to push me out. So, if you ever think about studying for a bit and ordering later, don t. This man( a bald man in his 40s who frequently walks around the cafe maybe the manager)will push you to order right away or make you leave, no matter how respectful or quiet you are. This behavior paints an image of greed and a money-hungry focus on profiting off students, which directly contradicts the supportive and welcoming environment they promote on their website. Bhive markets itself as a space for growth and community, yet my experience tells a completely different story. I understand that running a café involves making a profit, but Bhive s location near a school means students naturally come to study. Instead of fostering a positive atmosphere for productivity, this staff member s actions highlight a clear lack of professionalism and respect. It feels as though their priority isn t building community, but squeezing as much money as possible out of students. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously. Bhive has the potential to be a truly great space, but behavior like this alienates customers and damages the values they claim to uphold.

Very good coffee and I think the best croissant in town

I rarely give negative reviews but this evening I had a matcha with oat milk because I am lactose intolerant. The matcha itself is good but it is mixed with milk, and I was able to realize it 15 minutes later because I have been sick ever since!! This can be life threatening for people who are allergic to it!! I have a strong intolerance and it took me completely in a short time.

Unfortunately, the woman with the Russian accent is extremely rude and unprofessional. One should be humble enough not to act extremely guarded and haughty. I m asking for coffee not your number ffs.

The employee didnt know the products and didnt offer to ask another employee to get the answer. That seemed dumb. He didnt seem to care. I would go again though because coffee and ambiance were great.

Extremely disappointing. We came in and ordered one drink. A matcha frap with strawberry syrup. Total was 9 dollars. The wait was way too long. We nicely asked the person working where our drink was. She looks around confused, and your drink was made but we forgot to give it to you . She pours our drink, but by now, it s completely liquid. Im not one to nag about stuff so we just left. To me, this just shows a complete lack of organization, customer service, and care. I also work at a drink place and I understand how hard the work can be and how its not always easy but cmon now. Personally, I feel guilty whenever i give a customer a drink that was wrongly made but i guess that standard does not apply to all. The fact that she poured it in front of us and still gave it, knowing it was wrong, disappointed us. It wasnt busy at all and they could not concentrate on making the drink? This experience just gave me an a bad image of them and i will be telling my other friends about this.

This is probably my favourite cafe in Montreal. It s bright and cozy for studying. It stays warm on the coldest days. The food and drinks are so good and priced very reasonably

The girl who took my order was nice but I didn t like the service. It s really basic cafe with overpriced drinks. There were coffee stains inside the mugs (which could be easily washed).

Items are pricy and used cheap coffee.

Went there prior to going to see a movie. Ordered the special soup/grilled cheese. Had to order in English as neither employees spoke or understood French. Requested the soup be hot; it was lukewarm. Had to bring it back to have it reheated. The cheese in the sandwich had barely melted. Not an overall great experience

Bhive was the meeting place for the Meetup group Downtown Montreal Chat group . We did exactly that: met to speak French for hours with a good hot chocolate in hand, surrounded by a friendly atmosphere, in an attractive and comfortable interior.

Great Coffee. I went there with friends. The latte is excellent. The Café is very clean and well decorated and above all the staff are charming. I really recommend it without hesitation.

This place just recently opened and I went in to check it out as it is in a very convenient location on st.Catherine. Very nice vibe and chill music, the staff are very friendly and their croissants were really good! I also had the bhive latte and that one is one of my favourite lattes so far! They also have salads and sandwiches so you can definitely find something for you!

Very nice cashiers. I bought a matcha latte , drank it cold. Price is decent 5$ for small barely 6 for large. Sizing is small tho, but very tasty and totally worth it. I also bought an m&ms cookie they were very generous, with the candy, and they had some sort of additional chocolate chips. Also, I will always remember that, and not to encourage this but I was 10cents short they let me have it. The interior design is gorgeous. They also sell some arts and craft things such as macrame or crochet things. Their take away cutlery is made out of wood which is eco-friendly. If youre a student I highly recommend this Café they have a lot of various kind of seating, high chairs, comfy seats, or tables if youre working on a project. I will totally go back.

This new cafe is a perfect study/hangout space! The owner and baristas are super friendly, the interior decorations are warm and welcoming. I ordered a prosciutto sandwiches and a fresh mozzarella, and they are absolutely a must try!!! The pesto sauce and cheese combination are soooo delicious ! Students also have discount!!

I came here a few months after this place opened after having walked past many times without stopping. This is by far one of the best cafes I ve been to in Montreal recently. The staff was very kind, patient, and understanding while I made my choice of beverage (I m very indecisive and it takes long for me to order). The iced frappe that I ordered was amazing. The quality of their drinks and snacks are great and definitely worth the price. I highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a new place! They have many tables to sit and a cute atmosphere for dates or studying. They also support local businesses and sell cute little items at the cash. 10/10 would recommend!

THE BEST ESPRESSO in Downtown Montreal. I am an espresso aficionado, and B Hive has the the smoothest chocolate toned espresso out there! The staff is also very friendly, and great atmosphere. Rarely write reviews on google, but just that coffee deserves a shoutout!

Finally, great to see a very good cafe in Montreal Forum and which is open till late. We went here after a movie. Quite an interesting selection in the menu. We went for a Spanish Latte, an Americano, a Ruby Cheesecake, and a Tiramisu. Loved everything. Cheesecake more than Tiramisu though. But more than the food what I loved about the place were the interiors. Quite a busy interiors with books, chess board, amazing wall paintings, and a huge message board on which customers can write whatever they want. Its interesting to see what messages people have for the world. The staff is nice and friendly. The order arrived in pretty much no time. There is street parking right outside the cafe and also paid underground parking of Montreal Forum. Definitely recommended. Vegetarian options: Pretty much the entire menu is vegetarian Parking: Paid street parking as well as paid underground garage parking of Montreal Forum.

I have seen a serious uptick of guests in B Hive over the past few months. As winter rolls into Montreal, we need places to go when it snows, right?? B Hive has become a real success and the fact that the shop is usually Full is the proof. Come and BE a BEE in the HIVE. ************ Since the B Hive Café has opened, we have seen a steady stream of customers. If you wish to work remotely, play a game of chess, catch up with friends, or read a good book, this is the place that will welcome you to sit, enjoy, AND stay for a while. The indoor Café now boasts an outdoor terrace to enjoy your goodies, out in the open for some good people-watching, or catching up with friends, over a coffee, or any of the other fantastic treats being served. The newest Coffee shop in The Forum Complex. The shop will open on April 15, 2023, this coming Saturday. There will be lots of coffee, conversations, and goodies. So come and welcome the newest addition to the Forum Complex. The shop is very chic, and stylish. With comfy seating at bar stools and on tables around the shop. Catherines Street, if you are lucky enough to find a spot or in the forum garage. The shop is across the street from Cabot Square the Atwater kiosk and the Metro tunnel. The cafe is a very nice space if you want to relax and work on your laptop. There have been a good amount of folks working or just surfing the net. Meanwhile enjoying a B Hive goody!!! Now OPEN the terrace for outdoor dining and conversation. It is pictured here and has shade covering as well. The terrace is a pretty space to enjoy this Summer. B HIVE Coffee at The Forum. Parking: The Forum has a dedicated indoor parking garage served by a kiosk inside the main hall of the building. Wheelchair accessibility: Since the shop is on the ground floor, it is wheelchair accessible from the outside as well as indoors. Elevators service the parking garage and also inside the building for the Theatre and Other areas above the ground floor.

In my opinion, it is the best café near Dawson, the workers are really nice, the food and the coffee taste really good. I think the price are worth the quality and it is plenty affordable. It is always full of people but there is always place to sit, the wifi is free so a good place to work or study. I personally recommend the pistachio croissant, one of the employee recommend it and it was really good.

It was little bit busy on Sunday evening. Good customer service even at the end of day on weekend. I have tried their hot chocolate. It was a good hot chocolate on snowy day.

A clean, cozy, and unique cafe located near the Atwater metro station, its an excellent spot for catching up with friends or studying. The cafe offers various seating options, and their drinks are quite satisfying. Although I havent sampled their cakes and sandwiches yet, I plan to on my next visit. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Additionally, their proactive approach to ensuring a comfortable environment by preventing homeless individuals from soliciting for money or food adds to the sense of security.
