We arrived at St hubert after the christmas parade we expected a wait but not a 2 hour wait. We food arrived cold chicken was dry and with no flavor. After waiting to get our bill I asked to have my dessert (included in the meal) to go. The server who told our order said he didn't know what i ordered and didn't prepare the dessert. I said ok, had to wait more for our bill. If I could give 0 stars I would. Do better
I recently visited St-Hubert for a quick meal. The food was average—not particularly memorable, but not bad either. While the service was a bit slow, it was understandable given the large crowd present at the time. The chicken portion was generous and satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of vegetarian options on the menu, which added a nice touch to the overall experience. Despite the wait, it was a decent dining experience worth trying.
I really like this location. Very spacious and kept clean with good service and that traditional St Hubert goodness. Will definitely recommend and return myself.
The food was okay but a bit overpriced. The service was fast though. About the cleanliness, we saw a rat inside the restaurant that was awful! So I am shaky about the hygiene!
Restaurant et bar St-Hubert holds a special place in our Montreal memories. The cozy ambiance and friendly service create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps drawing us back. The signature rotisserie chicken is always a highlight, perfectly cooked and flavorful. Accompanied by their famous gravy and coleslaw, it makes for a comforting and satisfying meal. The menu offers a variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone. Whether it's a casual dinner or a special occasion, St-Hubert consistently delivers a delightful dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Montreal.
Absolutely love St-Hubert! Everytime I am in Montreal I make sure I get to one. Usually, it is the one I reviewing here. The place is large and very nice and the staff are always great. As for the food their chicken is the BEST! The tradition al coleslaw is even better. Love this place
Was there in September food was great, service was okay. She seemed to be in a rush with on worded answers and concerned with bigger tables. Anyways, good was great. Came back in December and opted for take out. Take out girl was polite but seemed unhappy. Food was great as usual. I'm from Ontario.
Great food, decent service, not very clean or kid friendly. Food was as expected, it was good. We ordered a poutine and half chicken combo with fries. Chicken was crispy and moist, poutine cheese curds were squeaky; overall good quality. Service - It was ok. The server barely came around and saw us. We saw them 3 times, at the beginning, ordering food and then deliver food. No check up for additional drinks or anything we needed for the kids. Vibe - it was inside a large tower. Fairly hard to get to in terms of navigation. It was not very kid friendly either or stroller friendly. Lots of tables not cleaned and dust build up on showcases and shelves.
Definite improvement compared to the last time I went there. I will go back
I was at the St-Hubert Complexe Desjardins before a show on Dec 17, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The waitress was poorly served to get the childrens drinks, I asked for nothing 3 times!!! For the salad same thing 20 min and no drink before 30 min the children were finished!!! Afterwards we had to leave 3 times for the childrens dessert, they just cried for cookies as dessert too long!!! Same thing for the bill, a horror. Plus the childrens menu is $5 on Tuesdays they charged $9.95 for the ridiculous regular price!!!! In short, its rotten, its gone elsewhere, it doesnt look good!!!
I visited St Hubert restaurant with a friend. We waited for almost 1 hour before we eventually got served our food.
very good and close to the entertainment district, always good food. excellent. Monday Tuesday wine at 50%
Beautiful restaurant and good atmosphere. The beers and drinks are very affordable during happy hour. However, our meals were cold and very average. We dont think well go back.
Great place for a group dinner, there is a way to talk with others without shouting, no risk of losing your voice! ;-)
It depends on how many staff there are versus how many customers come in. The place needs more staff. Or else the wait for a beer and some light meals is too long! Wheelchair accessibility: Its wheelchair accessible through the Complexe Desjardins atrium area
I went to eat at the restaurant this evening, I ordered a non-alcoholic drink, even pointing it out to the waitress and specifying that it was alcohol-free. At the end of the meal with my bill, it was written with alcohol so I asked the waitress to change the price and she told me that I never said that and that she had given it to me with alcohol. It had been 2 and a half years since I last drank before tonight and I wasnt planning on doing it again because I held on and was proud of my sobriety. I think maybe this waitress should be more sensitive about all this. Im a waitress personally and when a customer blames me for something, I dont blame it on them and Im extra careful when ordering without alcohol because someone could be sober/pregnant/on medication, in short.
My friend specifically asked for a non-alcoholic gin and tonic, and not only did she receive a drink with alcohol, but the waitress had no respect for her situation! Instead of apologizing, she made my friend feel like she was responsible for the mistake, and to top it off, she even made her pay for the drink with alcohol! My friend has been sober for almost three years, and it is UNACCEPTABLE for someone to take such liberty with a persons sobriety without any form of respect or accountability. Every person has their reasons for choosing sobriety, whether its addiction, medication, pregnancy, or others, and thats none of the waitresss business. Daring to play with a persons mental state, without the slightest apology, is not only disrespectful, but also dangerous. This is absolutely revolting and totally unacceptable!
One of the best St Hubert location for food. Kid friendly, warm and kind staff, delicious chicken (for a st hubert). However, staff, despite doing their best, seems short on peak time and weve waited 40min for a single chicken leg and some nuggets. Not great. Sure its getting pricey for franchise chicken (more than scores or Benny) but the quality of this spot delivers.
It s the best St Hubert, the room is very large and comfortable. And the service and dishes were perfect. The portions are generous. I recommend!
The service is so bad, I arrived and had to wait over 20 mins for a table, the restaurant is open but it seems to have no service, the waiters dont care about the service.
I went on a Wednesday evening before a show at the PDA. We are 3 people to serve. we made meal choices that did not require any major preparation of breast, poutine and chicken strip. we arrived at 5:15 p.m. it was 6:30 p.m. and we only received our salad and two starters and drinks, we had to ask why it took so long. we answered our kitchen is too small for the size of the restaurant. either streamline your kitchen or reduce the number of tables! So we left at 6:30 p.m. without having eaten our main meal!! I do not recommend eating out at least before a show. I imagine on a Saturday evening you will have to arrive at 3 p.m. to be sure of being able to eat. I leave you on a positive note, the very good cheese sticks!!!
Restaurant with very good cuisine, excellent service I advise
Nice gang at this restaurant!
Very average food, small quantity, excellent service.
11/10
Best chicken!
Waited 45 minutes after being sat to be served, another 15 waiting after our meals arrived to see if all was okay when 2 of us were done, empty glasses taken away with no offer to chance to ask for more (only one round had been served), had to wait another 20-30 for a container, and almost 2.5 hours in total by the time we received our bill. The section was not busy, our server did not run her food nor clear the table as others did, and others were fed & paid before use despite arriving afterwards. Really disappointing for our friend, a local and long time fan of St Huberts, who just wanted to show her international friends some good Quebecois cuisine. Also only spoke to the native French speaker, didnt bother to look or turn to the other two at all despite us wanting to order and speak for ourselves in the French we had been practicing.
This is the best St Hubert that I have ever been too. It s a bar / restaurant. They have hot food was fantastic and the atmosphere is amazing. I love this St Hubert location,
Fried ribs, ok but nothing more, none included... expensive for what it is. Didnt have our reservation for 4 even though we had reserved in person by telephone... ttttttttttrrrrrrèèèèssss long and they got the wrong order in the poutines, my boyfriend had to wait a good 10 minutes longer even though it had been 40 minutes already... tiny toilets. In their defense it was a Saturday night show.
Excellent food and the staff is very nice!!!
I really enjoy my experience. They have amazing side dishes. You can have a chicken leg with vegetable sautay and free coleslaw salad. I really liked the restaurant. They have succulent dishes with sides of sautéed vegetables and unlimited coleslaw.
Ultra slow service, 1 hour wait for a brisket meal. Toilet full of urine on uncleaned floor. Avoid!
Food was unfortunately cold for the most part. Not sure if its a Montreal thing or not. But a lot of food in the city is not served piping hot.
I went on Thursday I was the waitress was in the juice and a whole service not tall with glasses at the Desjardins complex But not both feet in the same boot it was at dinner time
Canceled our order after we waited for over an hour, after they had confirmed it and after they initially said 30min , and then kept delaying and delaying. This has happened multiple times now.
Very disappointed with the cleanliness and the passable service from Sophie..error in order, error in invoice.. Dirty wine glass and stuck glass stem. Accepts street people in the disgusting bathroom (dirt)???
Expensive, but worth it. Im not a fan of ordering chicken in restaurants, but this peri peri is worth it.
Great little place
Very warm welcome, our host was very helpful and gave us a good service.
Just saying the service was truly amazing during my visit last week. The lady at the checkout (Amy I think) was really attentive to my needs and very kind. One of your best employees.
Everything was good. The lunch special seems to give the best bang for your buck. Be sure to completely hose down the terrace daily when its open, including the floor. There are... odours there... if you know what I mean. This makes it unpleasant to eat there.
Excellent chicken parm!
Food
Poor customer service, had a bad experience with the waitress.
Worst St Hubert ever. From start to finish the hostess, the waitress .poor service, the waitress blew us away because we asked to change the dish when taking our order. Particularly dirty environment and the food leaves something to be desired. RUN AWAY!
I am very disappointed with the experience I had at this restaurant. The waitress Marie-Eve 21 was visibly upset because I hadnt left a tip. She said she struggles to get groceries and make it through the month without the tips. When I explained that I was not aware of this obligation, she replied that I had to find out at reception before entering. I understand the importance of tipping in some cultures, but the aggression and attitude of this waitress was inappropriate and ruined my experience.
Nice evening on the terraces, we ate well. There was a bit of an ambiguous moment with the toast served to my friend for her burrata, without hesitation they changed her bread!
Excellent service with our favorite barmaid. Weve been seeing each other for over 15 years now. Thanks again and well see you again, same post, same time.
Best night seriously!!!!! Dietary restrictions: Saracens Parking: Desjardins Complex
I ate on the terrace last night. Full of bird droppings. The deck should be pressure washed with water. Near us there was a stain on the floor that smelled like garbage. When we arrived, table on very dirty terrace. I had to ask for it to be washed. Salt shaker with sticky on it. Lack of pride at this restaurant
whats the point? Grrocery store Rotisserie is the same if not better and cheaper and most of their products are available at the grocery store so why am i eating here?
This St-Hubert branch is without a doubt the best St-Hubert in Quebec. The food is always good, the service is exceptional and the bar section has a great atmosphere. With the best bartenders (Nieves, Marie-Ève and company), its a really nice place for a happy hour after work. Monday and Tuesday evenings are perfect for wine lovers! Vegetarian options: There are several options for vegetarians! Parking: There are several parking options, including at Complexe Desjardins.
Bad service ever
On Thursday, June 27th, our group of 30 was surprisingly turned away despite the restaurant being nearly empty with plenty of available seating. We ended up dining at Baton Rouge next door. Its bewildering to think that a business would decline service when looking for customers.
Impossible to get a seat because there are 2 of us, although there are some available. Customer satisfaction is absolutely zero. The girls who place have orders and can only place clients according to their request.
You should answer the phone...
Karine and the bar team were sensational with us. Great team with a smile and totally amazing service!!!!! Dietary restrictions: Sugar
Super service de Karine Parking: No parking Food : 5/5 |
Really very satisfied with our experience! WELL DONE! Good dishes, good dessert, good wine! (Celebration cake offered by Karine! Karine was GREAT! Excellent hostess! Mr. Hudon
Very very slow service week day at lunch time at the take away counter.
Thanks to the waitress Nathalie
I strongly advise against this restaurant, especially if you are an office worker. Lunchtime service is slow. The food is really ordinary. The price of the dishes has simply become a bad joke. $23 + TX and tip, so $30 for ONE CHICKEN LEGS. Its literally stealing. To the thief!!!
What service. What a chicken. What a Renaud!
Good experience!
Very good service, food below average ( guedille homard awful) also kinda overprice
i love st hubert! but not this one. chickens and ribs are dry. :( Parking: under the desjardins mall Kid-friendliness: they have kids meal
Last night at St Hubert Place des Arts very disappointed. Very pink chicken thigh. The waiter brought me another one and it wasnt any better, still pink. This is the first time I had a heartache in a restaurant.
To me, service is everything in a business, and I was utterly appalled at the service I received from the girl with the short hair in a bob, and big eyelashes (the latina). She remained in the back, barely even attending to customers, and once she arrived to serve me, she was extremely rude. All I did was ask a question on how the spécial midi worked, and she told me well duh, everything is written on the sign. I proceeded to switch my language to French to test whether that would alleviate her anger towards working here, and I was still met with the same rudeness. She was very dismissive of me, and I had to use my own reasoning to try to figure out what comes with the spécial midi without her. If you have workers who dont want to be there and treat customers rudely, it reflects the entire business. I suggest hosting etiquette is re-taught to your workers. This is my first bad experience here, and one that I will never forget.
Unfortunately the restaurant was out of vegetarian strips. It was only after three of my colleagues had placed their order that they were informed. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The restaurant was not full and it was a Tuesday lunchtime. No reason not to be able to manage your stock. We were a group of 13 and I take everyones dietary restrictions very seriously. Its very disappointing. They had to eat salads without protein, which is not substantive. We will not return there. I cant risk them still being hungry at the end of a meal.
Very slow service
The young girl at the counter was alone at the counter to answer the customer and provide service and with her beautiful smile and her calm the waiting time was not too slow. CONGRATULATION,
Horrible service especially during lunch time Waitress doesn t smile, looks like she hates her job Food
Very friendly people
Karine, an exceptional waitress! Great experience! She made us laugh a lot!! Everything was excellent! Bravo twice!
A wonderful experience on a special occasion, Alexis service was exceptional.
The food was good. It wasn t very busy. It took 15 minutes for the server to stop by. He was super nice though.
Delicious
Acceptable but excellent staff...
Saint Hubert restaurant where Ratatouille cartoon? An evening in the company of a rat/mouse. This restaurant makes you wonder about the state of cleanliness of the kitchen... When I raised the subject with the waitress, she replied: Ah yes, I saw it. I will take care of it, but if it had been really serious and problematic I would have taken care of it directly. In other words, I m used to seeing them so it s not a simple little mouse/rat that s going to change my evening. Given the restaurants comments, I understand that the mouse/rat problem is recurring. I was expecting a commercial gesture, at least to apologize, but no, not even that! In addition, we waited 10 minutes at reception while 3 waiters were chatting about themselves. Averagely friendly waitress who forgot the coleslaws. Too bad because in Quebec we have never been disappointed by the chain. We will think twice before pushing back the door of a Saint Hubert.
We took advantage of the currently featured lobster. Delicious to try. Good service. Had a table near the window with a view of Sainte-Catherine.
Rice was completely raw and shrimp were cold and rubbery. We ordered a garden salad and it took over an hour for it to come out, although restaurant wasn t crowded at all. Food otherwise just not great. Don t go just for the lobster rolls, we went to the restaurant just for them and they were all out. Not good.
Nice room, reasonable food. It is no longer an affordable restaurant, despite the lunch menu.
Brings back childhood memories.
Mr. Marc waiter, gives excellent service
Ambience: its neat and clean Food: its ok if youre hungry... Service... Man... Every single time I have gone here service is really slow. Recently we were immediately seated , but after 20 minutes we decided to get up and leave . My kid was starving and we didnt even get glasses of water. The waitress looked over whelmed and did not even glance at us once. We go out back to the Express take out counter and place our orders.... I literally waited 30 minutes... And I was the only person who ordered from the express counter... Either they have serious staffing issues or are greatly disorganized. There are so many better choices of food around for the same price. Only reason we go is because my kid likes the animal chicken tenders. But frankly having to wait nearly an hour for mass produced food is ridiculous.
Excellent food. Warm and welcoming place. Always fast and understanding service when we go to see a show afterwards.
The service is always impeccable and nothing is more comforting than St-Hubert! #teamsaladedechouxcremeuse
Great service at the bar!!! I will definitely go back
The manager took care of us nicely
45 min wait time at the take out counter....45 min wait time at the take out counter.
Waiting 2 hours for dinner when you have 1 hour to have dinner. Pe st-hub should understand the reality of office people who go to dinner there. In the future, when my team wants to go there again, I will veto decisions to return. #fail
Its too long to wait
VERY slow service. We are at the hotel and asked for utensils. In addition to the 30 minute delay on our order, the food arrived cold and we had no utensils to eat from. Thanks for nothing.
Literally everything here is amazing, the service is even better, I had to give him a 20$ tip, thats how amazing it is, highly recommend going there, the food is amazing
Fast service and good food. Perfect before a show at Place des Arts
We arrived at 5:50pm, were quickly seated at our table, not particularly busy in our section of the restaurant, two other tables already served, with a group of six arriving about 5 minutes after we arrived. The waiter took the groups order (we were still looking at the menu) then took ours a few minutes later. What upset me was that the server seemed to have completely forgotten about us. Our neighbors had almost finished their meal before I decided to get up and try to find out if there was a problem in the kitchen. When I was finally able to confront the server, he told us that we should get our order in about 5 minutes; I also asked the server to bring the bill at the same time because we would have to leave for a theater show stating at 8pm. 15 minutes later, still no food in sight, my friends at the table were prepared to walk out. The server finally arrived with our food at 7:11 pm , no explanation, no apology, no acknowledgement that he had done so poorly at his job as a server. In the very least he could have passed by to let us know that there was a delay or a problem with our order. Was that too much to ask for? I asked to speak to the manager. He was very diplomatic, protective of his staff member, as a good manager should be, but again no apology. I had to ask him pointed questions to find out that the order had not gone through (again something that a well trained server would have looked into) some kind of technical glitch. I remember a time when being trained at and working at St-Hubert Restaurant was almost a badge of honor. The staff were so well trained that they were sent to the U.S. to train the servers down south the proper way to do things. I understand that since Covid, getting good staff has been a difficult challenge for most businesses today. But being responsible for doing your job to the best of your abilities, even today, should be something to be expected. Or, in the very least, to own up to your failures and apologize for them. My wife and I dont get out much, so dining out is a special treat for us. Unfortunately, this time, this experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I dont anticipate being a patron of St-Hubert Restaurant anytime soon
The service is lousy, but not the food. Fortunately.
I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Le Saint Hubert restaurant in Montreal, and I must say that the experience exceeded all my expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were both professional and friendly. The decor is elegant and warm, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The cleanliness of the place is impeccable, which demonstrates the attention to detail paid by the restaurant team. The food menu is varied and offers an excellent choice of delicious dishes. I particularly enjoyed their specialty, vegetarian poutine. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes. The service was impeccable throughout the meal. Our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing, and offered excellent recommendations. Finally, I would like to point out that Le Saint Hubert restaurant is also committed to sustainable practices, which adds additional value to the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend Le Saint Hubert restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Montreal. I cant wait to return there on my next visit to the city. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian poutine on the menu.
Definitely the best of St-hubert . Impeccable service! Everything is excellent!
We were there for a business meal.
Good food, really pleasant and smiling staff! :) Always cool to go to dinner there.
What an experience! A decor that is out of the usual St Hubert! I was charmed by my experience! What can we say about the choice of dishes on the slate! A great discovery!
Perfect for a quick eat, fast and good service. Good food and lots of options. Kid-friendliness: Super affordable kids menu
The service was fast, the food worthy of St-Hubert! Perfect for a dinner before a show.
5 stars highly recommend!
Excellent fast and courteous service, the staff is really nice
A good classic that doesnt change! Kid-friendliness: My son loves the pet store and the ice cream clown. These were also my choices as a child.
Always nice to go to this restaurant!
Had an amazing time at. Great atmosphere, top-notch service, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!
Good quality, large portions, great service and affordable price. I highly recommend!
Impeccable service, the staff is courteous and it s perfect for eating with family near Place des Arts
Parking: Facile Food
Excellent service
From the service to the food, everything is perfect. And the director Renaud is very friendly!
Very courteous staff, although I really liked my chest.. chicken
I have come to eat at this restaurant several times, best value for money. The atmosphere is pleasant and warm for its cold winter weather. My server Alexis gave us impeccable service!
Best service! Helen took care of my group so well! She s such a doll Will be coming back forsure!
I hope I was unlucky and it doesnt happen like this every day! A disastrous welcome, in addition to the lack of politeness, one of the staff members literally had a bloody nose! We were worried about him but it seemed normal to his manager! For the service, what can I say... Slow, very slow. We never received our drinks, our glasses of water remained empty throughout our stay (1h45 there for a dish...). You will say to me why didn t you ask? , we have tried many times! But the waiters lower their heads when they do something, which means that once their task is finished, they hurry back to the kitchen without looking at their room, at one point we were more than 8 tables waiting for the intervention of a waiter. Positive point when there was interaction, courtesy and understanding was required, thank you at least for that! In terms of cooking, its quite simple, its the WORST St-Hubert Ive had in my life. Ordered a classic original St burger, it arrived overcooked, a slice of bread was burnt and the chicken breading overcooked. I pointed this out to the waiter and he had no difficulty in changing the plate for me, thank you for that. Problem... The second plate was worse than the first... 2 burnt buns and a chicken fillet also burned on the ends. Having understood at this point that I was going to stay there the day, I decided to stop persisting, eat and leave. Having been used to eating this dish in other St-Huberts and on delivery, it is by far the WORST burger I have eaten. Please look again at your kitchen. Fortunately it was not my first St-Hubert experience otherwise believe me I would never have set foot there again. In any case, for this franchise, its over. Too bad because the setting and the location are really great assets that could make this restaurant shine. A waste.
waited for over an hour for my food at the takeout desk and only got a sorry for the wait, Im never going to eat to this place again
I find it a shame on December 26th a blatant lack of employees and to see so many empty tables and to have to wait 30 minutes for us to be called back to have a table!! Good thing you have an efficient older waitress This is the second time Ive been to your restaurant and still the same problem during the festival period and others.
Though it may be viewed by many as basic, St Hubert strikes an excellent balance between good food, quick service and--especially important these days--affordability. Not to be underestimated.
We had reserved a table for 3 people at 5:45 p.m. for a show at 8:00 p.m. The order was taken at 6:10 p.m. and we had to leave at 7:15 p.m. without having eaten, because the waiter didnt really know how soon it would take to be served. Very disappointing, there was clearly a problem in the kitchen, the waiter had nothing to do with it.
Worst disrespect I have seen towards customers. The young woman who works there just decided to ignore me while I was finalizing my order (I had to leave since the young woman was just ignoring me). His colleague (a young individual who wears glasses) also ignores a customer who was just asking what was in one of their poutine and walks away, never to return. Truly unacceptable behavior when working with clients.
No reservations available ; no phone answered. Ridiculous
We made several take-out orders including 1 plate box. The cashier did not mention to us that they were missing ingredients in the kitchen. Big disappointment when we opened the box, there were some items missing. This is the last time we will order from you.
Great service and good atmosphere. The servers are attentive and fast
Great service and great location
Not as good as it used to be or other st huberts Chicken dry Gravy really watery Did not recieve any coleslaw with meals Decor really run down, needs a refurb. I look forward to a st hubert on our annual trips to Canada, its usually our first meal but not so excited for next one
Excellent service at the bar!!
very expensive and very ordinary food; dry chicken breast, bland rice that looks like minute rice. I havent been there for years, this will probably be the last time. There were 3 of us and we were all disappointed.
Be patient for take-out orders at lunchtime... Only one clerk despite the long line.
We took the vegan chicken strips and the taste was good, Im also glad they had the sauce vegan. Unfortunately, for the two same dishes, we had to pay over 70$ which is over expersive for only a few fries and stips. The presentation wasnt even that great and we could have kind of the same feeling going into a fast-food restaurent. The vegan menu is improving, but I dont think its worth 70$ yet. Vegetarian options: Its coming, but there are some work to do with the vegan menu.
Waitress was great, service and hospitality was great, but floors left a little to be desired - there was food under the tables in our section
Rude and inappropriate server, arguing with us about the tip. We gave 15% before tax which is the standard and he pressured us to give 15% after tax. He would not let off until we gave him the two dollars extra. In addition we were missing several items from order. Wait was longer than expected.
We went there for lunch. The food was okay, but the ambiance and service was atrocious. Our waitress and the one I assume to be the manager were so frustrated for reasons that had nothing to do with the customer. (an employee didnt come back in the evening) We know that, because they spoke so loudly and spoke ill of themselves. other employees. The one I assume to be the manager was walking from one side to the other, sighing, crying. Quite ordinary thank you. Lets just say that a minimum of professionalism so as not to make customers uncomfortable is not too much to ask.
It is a large restaurant that is located in downtown Montreal which is very busy with an outdoor terrace, a place that is often filled with people both inside and outside during the beautiful and good summer weather, a place that is clean, welcoming, warm and the service is always appreciated.
We had the worst experience at this place with my family yesterday. The place was busy inside but the patio was half empty. We asked if we could grab a drink on the patio and they seated us. We waited 30 minutes but no one was coming to take our order (they were serving other tables on the patio though). We finally went to ask the waiter if he could come and he said yes. 10 minutes later he got our order (5 drinks), but then the wait continued. After another 20 minutes (a total of 1 hour at this point), we decided to stand up and leave because we still didn t get our drinks. The waiter saw us leave (while dealing with another table) and did not say a word when we walked past next to him. During our hour long wait, we observed other tables on the patio that were also experiencing issues with the service. A table next to us (2 people) had to go ask the waiter to come and take their order too, after waiting for a long time. Another table where 5-6 people who were on their lunch break had to send back all the food that they ordered as soon as it arrived because it arrived too late and they had to go back to work (they literally had to go back to work with an empty belly). This whole time, the staff didn t seem to care at all or acknowledge that there were any type of issue.
Before a show, always St-Hubert! At the Place des Arts. Piri-piri chicken with poutine, a classic. Still delicious. Thanks for the fast service. See you soon. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian dishes Kid-friendliness: Childrens menus + secure space on the mezzanine Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance from the garden complex
I do not understand all the hype about st Hubert chicken. It s decent but nothing spectacular. Expensive for what you get. There is a metro grocery store in the same complex where you can basically get the same meal for less than half the price of here. Service was decent though.
Great bar, great food, cool people
Best food in the country!!! Ranch it up!
no almost sauce on the hot chiken and cold!. Forced to take ketchup for fries. For a 20 dollar dish, dissatisfaction. Courteous and smiling staff on the other hand and nice decor.
Very good service Parking: Very large free parking
Ideal restaurant if you want uncooked chicken, cold fries and dirty tables.
A delight!
In the very commercial rue Ste Catherine in Montreal, the St Hubert displays its chicken and ribs program but the menu has other choices so we decided to take the chicken with spicy sauce for me, a real delight and very generous
One of the best choices in place des art for any occasion . A nice interior design, delicious food and warm hosts.
Liked their foods and services. Highly recommended!
0 service sucks
The waitress who goes by the name Karelle got mad at us because we didn t give her any tips and she even said you guys are not eligible to go to any restaurant.
30 minutes of waiting at the counter for a chicken leg. Its so absurd and at the same time so pitiful for a channel of this name... R.I.D.I.C.U.L.E!
Imagine seeing the 8.70$ promotion and coming to order it here just to get scammed like this... No gravy and I had to eat everything dry... I mean how badly you need to mess up for this to happen? Do I need to unbox everything before leaving next time to make sure everything is in there? Its literally that one item that you are using to attract costumers and you cant do it right... Absolutely ridiculous
Visited with friends for dinner and had a great experience, service was friendly and efficient and the food was good. I would recommend the combos which come with a starter, main and unlimited soda. Good for a casual night out in Montréal!
good atmosphere and lighting
Good service! It was good and it was quick!
The atmosphere is great! Very good service from Alex
Rat having fun in front of us...
I go to St-Hubert at least twice a week and the last time I go to St Hubert! I order PiriPiri breast to take away and find myself at work with a normal thigh meal! And it was cold! THANK YOU St Hubert!
Ribs were really tasty. Love the all you can eat coleslaw. Decent choice of beers Parking: No parking nearby
I really didnt like my experience. As soon as you arrive, the waiters walk past you several times without saying hello. The restaurant was relatively empty but I waited 10 minutes to be seated. I was not given a drinks card. I ordered and my dish arrived cold and the chicken was really very pink inside... I was told that this was normal because it was the thigh but when they brought me another plate, the chicken was significantly less pink and therefore better cooked The staff is not very friendly and you can hear shouting coming from the kitchen In short, not really a good experience for a first
We waited a long time before the waiter came to us. Plus, there was no more sugar pie!
Perfect food and service
dont go there to take the special holiday promotion, they say there are none left and its happened to us more than once; go somewhere else
While me and my friend were eating supper , my friend noticed a mouse run underneath the leather seats. We told the waitress who wasn t aware, yet there was already a mouse trap underneath the seats. We didn t finish our supper, we had to pay and didn t bother to take our leftovers with us as we didn t trust the cleanliness of this restaurant.
1/2 hour to have a choice of roaster at the counter is ridiculous
I went to the resto-bar section with my family members thinking Id get good food and great service like I do when I go to St-Hubert in the gay village, but I was so wrong! The lady who was serving us looked LOST (maybe drunk?). We ordered meals which had their cabbage salad included (she even confirmed with us that wed like the creamy one). She disappeared and didnt come see us for about 40 minutes. Normally, in other St-Hubert places, the cabbage salad is served a few minutes after the order took place, while waiting for the main dish. 40 minutes later, a man served us a chicken leg that was cold (we asked him to reheat it) and my steak was kind of warm... AND I had to ask him to please bring the cabbage salads that we never got! He just said OK with an attitude like weve bothered him...then the lady disappeared again and when she came back, she wasnt even coming to see if we needed anything. She was chatting with some dude at the bar almost making out with him or something. Anyway the food was cold and terrible and the service was really bad too. By the way, our section was almost empty so it wasnt busy at all. We will never go back there and will make sure that nobody we know will go there. Ive had better experience at McDonalds...
