908 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec H3A 1G3, Canada
Busy Chinese noodle shop with a cozy interior dishing up housemade hand stretched noodles in a variety of broths, Lan Zhou style. Directly across from McGill university. Delivery by Uber.
Amazing deal! Portions are massive and noodles and delicious and fresh. Staff were very friendly, helpful and quick. Veggie noodles were great, couldn’t ask for more!!
I came here for lunch. Loved the noodles here. Fresh hand-pulled noodles in a rich tasteful broth. The service is quite efficient. The food came out fast. The downside of this place is that at peak hours, you have to line up, and if you are less than 4 people, you will have to share a table. There is also no place to put your coat and bag. Payment is by cash or debit only.
I had this restaurant on my "Must try" list for so long and was super excited today to try it. Yes the food was good (soup was delicious but the base was a tad oily: felt the oil on my lips after). HOWEVER, there were a bunch of disappointments. Firstly and most importantly, the cashier clearly either wanted to try to scam us into paying more or doesn't understand what she's doing. She told my friend and I that credit card is NOT accepted as payment (only debit or cash). My friend payed first and tapped her credit card, and it worked. My friend then left me there as she was late for something. I got the cashier's attention to let her know I am ready to pay and since she originally said they don't accept credit cards but my friend's credit card worked, I double checked if I could use mine. She told me yes they accept credit cards but charge an extra dollar and some for fees. This was so strange but I paid it due to me being tired. I asked the cashier how come she originally told us she wont accept credit card and then switched it to charging me a dollar and some for using it, and she got defensive and told me that is how it is and my friend should come back and pay the processing fee. I am a very down to earth person and have an open mind with a lot of things, but this is absolutely mediocre. You cannot refuse credit and then switch up your story to charge us more. I felt so used and this changed my entire willingness to return to this restaurant. It makes me wonder how many other people she does this to, especially vulnerable students. I have never had a bad experience until now and it really sucks because my hopes were high for this place. Secondly, the pasta is made freshly right there behind the window which is cool. However, the person making it slams the dough really hard on the counter making an overly loud and stimulating bang. This made our experience uncomfortable because it was already loud inside from the guests chatting while eating and the crowd lined up waiting for orders, and the banging on top of this was causing a horrible headache sensation. I really hope something can be changed about this, at least the cashier issue because a business can have so much potential if you run it correctly. NOTE: After posting this, I noticed a few other reviews in the past speaking about this same issue. So this really is a thing. Wow
We discovered this place by accident while in Montreal. If you love noodles / noodle soup, this place is must to try. They make noodles right here in front of you and it tastes amazing. Ordered a combo soup and potato salad. The salad is nothing that I was expecting and incredibly good. A note - make sure you bring cash or have a debit card. They don't accept credit cards.
The food is amazing! Fresh noodles and delicious broth! It reminded me of China. Please choose spiciness wisely. I love it spicy and it was delicious and spicy. The service is great and fast. The sitting area is fun and very typical, love it. I'll go back anytime!
Loved the liangpi, beef shank, tofu salad. The service was friendly and attentive. The zha jiang mian was just ok. Would go back to try their noodle soups because the soup that came with the zha jiang mian was super tasty. Nice rich beefy flavours. Cash or debit only. Space is quite small. They had about 5 sets of tables to seat 4 people each.
Really wonderful! Generous portions with generous amounts of beef, delicious broth. The waiter made sure to ask whether I wanted spice, coriander, or green onion. Good vinegar and chili oil available at the table. Some of the best-textured noodles I have had in Canada! The price point was very good for the portion size. No AC though, and just keep in mind that credit payments have an extra surcharge.
It’s very good, noodles are chewy and they are generous with the toppings! Service was very fast! The seaweed tastes a bit odd in the vegetable soup but still delicious. If you don’t say anything they default to a medium bowl, which is quite big. One constructive thing I would say is the about the stools for sitting. In winter when people have coats and bags there’s nowhere to put them and it’s a bit uncomfortable. Overall great, would come back
Its really just noodles with laoganma chilly sauce
Best I ve had outside of China
Quite bland for me, i could not finish it
Amazing noodles, so close to Mcgill campus. everything is so delicious and fresh!!! my favourite dinner
Rather than quality, we think about quantity. They want to fit as many people as possible into this small space. When you ask to go to the bathroom you have to pass through the lady who is washing the dishes to make you understand how small this space is and how crowded people are. Payment done! Next!!! At night I felt nauseous and vomited because the meat was too seasoned. I think that here too they buy frozen things from the Chinese market and put it on a nice warmed up plate for you. The important thing is how you see but not how you feel. It does not matter. People eat the same anyway. I had sourness in my mouth after eating which tells me I didnt eat something fresh. Nothing to say about the spectacle with the dough and the different types of noodles. Excellent!
Delicious, the waiter has a nice attitude.
This store is doing very well, and you almost always have to queue for meals. The Liangpi Roujiamo tastes good. I got it for 70 points. The amount of ramen is really big. I ordered a big portion and two people almost didnt finish it. The taste is also good.
ordered the oil spill noodles with extra meat as it didnt come with any; wow!!! the noodle texture was amazing!!
Food amazing, service was friendly. Homemade noodles. Was cool to see the guy making the noodles. Would go back
Delicious, very affordable, enormous portions for the takeout ramen and all the employees were very nice and caring :) we are excited to go again!
The tofu salad was really nice But the noodles were just noodles tho Food
I ve spent the past five years searching for a taste like this, and I ve finally found it! This Chinese soup is nothing short of extraordinary. From the first sip, the depth of flavors was exactly what I ve experienced before in China. The hand-made noodles, crafted with care, elevate the entire experience, adding the perfect texture to the rich, savory broth. Every spoonful took me back to the warm, nostalgic memories I have of China. It s a rare gem that not only satisfies the palate but also rekindles the essence of home. Simply incredible!
I got myself the spicy beef noodle regular size, loved it, tasty and and the portion is huuge. Its perfect meal to warm you up in cold winter nights. The place is literally a hole in the wall tho, the space is so cramped wont fit your winter coat lol
Excellent fresh Chinese noodles, made on the spot. The food is of excellent quality, and I really liked the beef. However, for lunch, a place crowded with people, plan to eat at a table with other people. But Id definitely recommend the restaurant for eat-in or take-away. A great discovery.
Ordered the beef tendon noodle soup and vegetables noodle soup. Food was delicious, large portions, seating inside is small but they do quick takeout as well Vegetarian options: Vegetable noodle soup, cucumber dish, edamame dish,
UNRIVALED tofu salad and Im not a vegetarian/vegan. Id buy that dressing on the side if they sold it. Wheelchair accessibility: Unaccessible
Their noodles are very delicious, I like them very much, but other than the noodles, the other items they order are just ridiculous. The Liangpi is stupid. Have you ever tried their own Liangpi? I just took it out of the refrigerator and mashed it together like a big rice cake. Roujiamo is even more confusing. I have never seen the meat in Roujiamo being cooler than the bun. The meat is cold but the bun is hot? I really... Is this a roujiamo? The meat inside tastes like meat floss stuck together with oil. The oily juice is so unpalatable that I cant eat it. This money is wasted. We cant even fool foreigners. So confusing, right? ? The peppers you add to the beef include the quality of your own beef... (Have you tasted it yourself?) I can see that your family is very popular. I sincerely hope that you are too busy to care about the quality of each dish! I usually never take the initiative to find fault. Only very outrageous things can make me write negative reviews. And your front desk actually reminded us that when we paid 100 in cash, the price did not count as a tip. After paying the bill in a short time He said three times in ten seconds, You dont check to see how your dishes are done, he asked for a tip. Then he just opened his mouth and said, How about you pay 68 for a 59 meal? Sister, is this how you treat your compatriots? Take the initiative and insist on it? Are you ready? In the end, I gave you 65 and you felt that you were underpaid and handed the remaining money to us with a look on your face? ? ?
I would give 6 stars if I could! Incredible noodle dishes! Small space, might need to sit with strangers but worth it!!!
It s a really small place but the food is amazing and service is great. The food is quick to come even when busy. One of my favourite places to eat at.
Amazing service and noodles! But the broth was just okay as it was pretty bland, and not that many toppings or meat. A bit pricey for what you get
Delightful restaurant with noodles freshly made on the spot. Tasty and spicy. Even the cold noodle dishes are delightful. Vegetarian options: Lovely dish. +- egg
Very young atmosphere Top notch cuisine I recommend
Excellent discovery.
One of my favourite spots in the city!
Food is always extremely great! Went for an in-person pickup for the first time after ordering delivery for a long time - food was ready under 10 minutes! Highly recommend the lanzhou bowl (with at least medium spice!) Friendly staff. I will definitely need to dine-in at some point!! Best noodles in town
Went there during our trip in Montréal. Their noodles did not disappoint me, tasty and portions are great! Those are the Chinese noodles I was looking for, happy to walk in and try! The only thing might be no AC in the restaurant and the fan didn t work well and that was a hot day lol.
This place is sooo good, when I was there last year I ate here 5 times, each time was exquisite. The noodles are made in house right in front of you, the service was friendly and warm, and the portions are filling. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
Super fast service for generous portions I had the veggie noodles and loved it ! Just make sure to go on an empty stomach cause the bowl was huge
Incredibly tasty handmade noodles in yummy broth
Very good, generous, friendly
The food is amazing, its really heavy so on a cold day its perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend the Homemade Pork Sauce noodles, and the Chinese hamburger
Food is great, but the place is noisy.
I order from this place every week. Never disappoint, the noodles texture is what makes this place so good. Also delicious tofu strips, really really good!
Very good beef soup, lack of vegetables, average soup, coke, tx and tip $23 a little expensive for the ingredients and extremely noisy at lunchtime.
Excellent and hearty noodle dishes, served with great attention
Very authentic Lanzhou noodles, there isnt much seating space so there is always a line to wait.
Noodles slapping in the background not great for ptsd but the flavour was excellent!
We got the Chinese hamburger, cold noodles, cucumbers and beef soups. They are all yummy. Friendly service too.
A little cramped but great noodles.
would come back for some more noodles, very good flavour, broth very good
The vegetable noodles are delicious, the cold noodles and side dishes are also great, the atmosphere is great, I love it!
Noodles had great flavour. The broth was good but a bit too oily. The meat was also quite fatty. The side of tofu was great. It s a small sit down place which is fine but it s just annoying when the waitresses reach over your food to get to someone else s plate without saying excuse me or having their hair up.
Literally my favorite restaurant in the city, the oil spilled noodles are 10/10
Amazing! Absolutely delicious broth, perfect noodles, and great service. Highly recommend.
No complaints on the food, although on the saltier end. However, I was disappointed by the dishonesty regarding their payment policy. Initially, the teller said they didn t take credit cards, only to accept mine at the end. This inconsistency was frustrating and unprofessional. Clear communication is essential for a positive dining experience.
I love their Xian Noodles!
Great food and served fast. The only thing was that the room itself was very hot when I went there.
Great food at surprisingly low prices but do be aware the portion sizes are very big. The space is a bit cramped tho.
If youre looking for hand pulled noodles in a tasty broth this is the place. The portions are very generous (try the large soup, its basically a baby bath size bowl). Expect lineups at lunch as theres only seating for 25 people and be prepared to share a table with other patrons. Hands down this place is superior to Nouilles de Lanzhou.
A very authentic Chinese pulled noodle shop. The flavors are all excellent. The wait staff are friendly and trilingual. The quality of the meat was excellent. If I lived in Montreal Id be tempted to eat here every day.
I love going to this little place - their noodles are epic, especially the oil spill noodles, which are incredibly delicious and satisfying (and a great vegetarian option). Staff is always friendly and service is fast.
The attitude is bad as f especially the man looks like owner of the store
Food is good
By the way, yesterday we got some noodle soup here to take away. I don t really understand why they re praising it so much, it s not remarkable at all, it s absolutely the same as in any noodle restaurant in Chinatown, so sorry just average. Advantages: speed and authenticity of the establishment. Simple :)
Delicious noodles. Broth is yummy, beef was super tender. Noodles freshly made with chew. Went with wide noodles. Hard to beat.
Imagine its the 2020s and they only accept cash. Does anyone work for the CRA?
Food was great and service was fast, but the place was too cramped. We could barely move when we were seated.
This place is wonderful. The noodles are incredible, watching the dough be stretched and formed is a beautiful art. The broth is absolutely perfection. The seating and atmosphere are kind of fun, with a light family dining style. Its not a relaxing atmosphere per se, but its fun. The staff is absolutely lovely and the service is incredibly fast.
Noodles are great. Would not recommend the tofu salad, it s not that special
The noodles were really good, although the dish was very spicy and there was zero mention of it on the menu (that I could see). The atmosphere is cozy if you like the authentic feel of sitting on a little stool at a small table in a small shop (I mean this sincerely! Its got charm). However, if you like me have sensory issues, the frequent, extremely loud slamming of them making the noodles got my anxiety spiking and kept me jumping every time. If you have issues with loud noises Id recommend take out.
the food and quality for the price is incredible. love the food, great portion, affordable prices 5 stars!! would recommend
Best spot in mtl for Lanzhou soup imo
Incredibly delicious food. You sit very close to the people around you, very enjoyable.
One of the best places in MTL for a good Lanzhou noodle soup
Really good food. But stressful service, and you run the risk of sitting with the door open in March.
Fresh tasty noodle! Great service! Would easily recommend to anyone who likes noodles
Simply wow! Braised beef soup...prepare your taste buds! A must!
Super quick and some of the most authentic lanzhou noodles in the world!
The food here is amazing, but unfortunately this time I found a hair inside the gluten in the Xian cold noodle dish. Couldnt eat it and I hate wasting food. The oil noodle was delicious as usual though
Débit only. My 12.99$ came up to nearly 15$ due to this. Fast service, and it is fun seeing them prepare the noodles by hand. Very small, you have to wait outside for takeout. Bundle up in winter, enjoy the sunshine the rest of the year. Vegetarian options: One vegetarian soup noodle option. It comes with seaweed, grated carrot, broccoli, bok choy, and one egg.
After many days western foods (deep fried foods), Falcon asked me to try some Chinese noodles. Thus we went to this Langzhou noodle to try. It was spicy & langzhou style. The noodle was freshly made right there & tasty. The waitress was very friendly & helpful. Overall, it s a good oriental style noodle & quote joyful.
Can you hire some people with eyes to deliver takeaways?
It is okay, but the food was served super fast
Amazing noodles! Big portions and tasty!
Very disappointing after waiting 30min. The noodle was uncooked.
The best beef noodles in Montreal. The taste is very authentic and the service is extremely friendly. We just passed by here after having a French lunch and went into this restaurant for a delicious meal. The soup is salty and light, and the beef portion and texture are just right. The Roujiamo tastes neither dry nor woody, and is very smooth. The side dishes are also delicious. The best thing is the warm and hospitable waiters. Made us feel at home. Every time I come to Mengcheng in the future, I will definitely visit this restaurant.
Very very delicious noodle soup. It s quite greasy/oily. There s usually a wait around lunch time. We were asked to sit at a table with another person, which we didn t mind. Food
Great noodles with beef
Love everything here: Cold noodle salad, delicious Spicy cucumber salad, tangy and refreshing Chinese hamburger, pulled-pork in crunchy sweet bun Soups, all delightful, vegetarian option Only downside is no hot tea and only take debit - lovely staff, crowded and shared tables with strangers. Highly, highly recommended
Excellent beef noodle soup, the broth is incredibly tasty and the beef portions are always so tender and full of flavor. The service is efficient and the pricing is fair. Perfect for McGill students. Vegetarian options: Vegetable Noodles
Everything about these noodles is just perfect, they just hit the spot when the craving comes around. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic noodle soup, medium is pretty spicy! Good service, good prices, extremely busy during our visit. Parking complicated, I recommend public transit. Near McGill, downtown, Eaton center.
Love this place, its a must
I get noodles from here weekly. Most amazing spot ever, they are efficient and the food is amazing. The soups are great but I highly recommend the Oil spill noodles wth da kuan noodles. It s the best thing u will ever have( if ur sensitive to spice spice ask for mild !). Also a side of cucumber will balance it nicely !
Really delicious
Always good food
Great food! Great place! Great service !!! I would certainly come again and recommend to my friends Kid-friendliness: I came with my husband and 3 kids (15,13 and 10 years old) and we all enjoyed great noodles !!!
Everything was perfect! Big portions , flavory .
It was a very bad experience. I rarely write reviews, especially negative reviews. 1. As a Lanzhou native, I have to say that the taste of the noodles is really bad. I can t even call it Lanzhou beef noodles. At most, it is a bowl of beef ramen rather than Lanzhou beef noodles. Im not very demanding, but as you wrote authentic Lanzhou beef noodles, it should at least have the right taste, but it didnt at all. 2. The room is small, has no air conditioning, and is connected to the kitchen. In this case, even ice water is not provided, and the whole process is sweating while eating noodles. 3. When paying, it was said that credit card payment was not accepted (I used a Canadian credit card). After I pointed out the reason, it was said that payment was fine. I had to pay the credit card fee myself. Although it was not much, the experience was very bad. I always feel that when doing business, you should treat people with sincerity. If it says authentic on the menu, it should really be authentic. I am from Lanzhou and have eaten authentic Lanzhou beef noodles from all over the country for more than 30 years. This is really true. Lanzhou Beef Ramen is an intangible cultural heritage, and I personally think it has standards. Secondly, we should also think more about the guests. In such a hot environment, there should be at least something to cool down, even a glass of ice water, which should not be too demanding. Furthermore, does the cost of credit card payment have to be borne by the customer? ? ? Later, I stopped by the Apple store to buy something. When I paid with my credit card, it was locked for security reasons. I don t know if the credit card environment in the store was not good. I just speculated, but it was very strange because I was not anywhere else that day. I have spent money but it has not reached my limit. The purpose of doing business is to make money, but if you do it well, it will last long. Very bad experience, rarely write comments, especially negative comments. 1. Busy busy little restaurant that beats to the sound of hand-pulled noodles being slapped on the counter facing the shopwindow. Everything I have tried so far has been a banger (noodles are great and whatever they come is very tasty). Big thumbs up to the oil pour noodles! Will be back to try the hamburger when it makes its comeback. Vegetarian options: Most appetizers are vegetarian as well as the awesome oil pour noodles. Would have to ask what broth they use in the vegetable noodle soup to make sure they one is too.
Really good and well priced fresh hand pulled noodles. Small menu but in a good way because service is quick and everything is good. Always busy and for good reason, I very much enjoy coming here.
They offer generous portions of top-notch noodles.
I thing this place is one of the best Chinese noodles in Montreal. The service is nice and server was easygoing with us. The noodles were delicious. Highly recommend.
Perfectly chewy noodles in delicious broths and sauces. Service is impeccable and incredibly quick. I have been here 3 or 4 times a week for over a month and am still not tired of it. Best food in the McGill area hands down.
I picked up take out. Very quick. Amazing soup. Well worth the detour.
Limited seating but good for a quick bowl of spicy noodles. No credit card, cash or debit.
I tried the spicy beef noodles, The broth was rich and comforting. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly. Definitely coming back for more!
So so. Long lines
Noodles are delicious. Price vs Quality is very good. Portions are big and they are Quick. We came from México and sure will come back
These noodles were phenomenal..if you want some authentic Chinese hand pulled noodles, this is your place. Ask for extra chili oil!
I came from Seattle and this is literally better than any noodles restaurant there. Love it and the service is very warm
Loved it! Will be back.
Freshly made noodles. Service is kinda chaotic. Nice servers. The place is too small. Probably enough to seat less than 25 people. I had the thin sliced beef but my brother in law swears by the braised beef. I also had combo so it included the shaved tofu salad. Interesting taste and texture that me and my wife chowed down.
fresh made noodles. fast service. enjoyed the edamame and soup. pork sauce noodles also good. well priced
Amazing noodles. We loved it here and the spice level we asked for was perfect. We got the beef soup and the pork sauce noodles and the cucumber. All delicious and very authentic.
Very tasty and inexpensive for the quality
Tasty and cannot be paid with credit card
Good noodles made on site. Very popular some lunch times and the line can be a bit long. Pickup: they always make sure you get all your items, good service.
Phenomenal. For such a small little restaurant, they definitely bring great food and service to the table. You would be hard pressed to find better tasting and well priced FRESH Chinese noodles. Though they only had a few tables available for a dine-in, they made up for it with fast, efficient service with a smile. They were very attentive and kind. Now a days, its sometimes difficult to get absolutely stuffed with a 20$ in Montreal. I only payed 16.09$(with tax) for my Medium bowl of noodles and I was certainly full. Would recommend anyone who wants warm, tasty and comforting bowl of fresh Chinese noodles to try this place out! You definitely wont be disappointed
It tastes like Lanzhou beef noodles. After leaving Lanzhou, the taste is no longer authentic, let alone the taste abroad, which is better than nothing. Give me five stars to encourage you.
Fast, cheap, near McGill. The holy trinity.
Great noodle place, delicious food.
Very good Chinese noodles. A great show for children!
Nouilles Zhonghua is a small noodle restaurant on the south side of McGill campus right on the opposite side of Roddick Gates on Sherbrooke. They specialize in a small menu of 6 noodle entrees including classics like Lanzhou style noodles and noodles in pork sauce. I got the large special Lanzhou beef noodles. The dish came out pipping hot and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The soup was also very flavourful and delicious. I will note that when ordering, three sizes are available and I was a little disappointed in the difference between the regular and the large. Furthermore, the beef slices were a bit too tough for my taste, but given they were cut thin, this was not an issue. Lastly, I will note that this restaurant is in a pretty small location so seating is pretty tight and limited. Otherwise, I found the food quite delicious and generally had a great experience! They only accept cash or debit. Presentation: 2/2 Taste: 4/5 Texture: 1/2 Quantity/Quality: 2/3 Cleanliness: 2/2 Atmosphere: 1.5/3 Staff: 3/3 15.5/20 = 3.875/5
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great hand pulled noodle.
Good and inexpensive as we like
Very delicious hand made noodles, nice done!
Very good noodles, not far from work but didnt take the chance to try it before. What a mistake! I was missing one of my favorite restaurant near Mcgill station! You can see the personnal doing the noodles in front of you, this is really impressive! Plus, not really expensive and after one bowl of noodles youre full trust me!
Very delicious and authentic Lanzhou beef noodles, recommended
Everything was great!
It s ok. Very small, not much space. Quantity is on the smaller side. Only accept cash or debit. Insist on tips. Not kids friendly environment Kid-friendliness: Not kids friendly
My favorite place to eat during my time as a student in Montreal. Fast service, affordable prices, good serving sizes - and delicious noodles made before your eyes. Albeit large, the Beef Tendon Soup is a must-have if you are visiting Montreal. Youre going to feel this soup heal your soul the first time you have it. Its a small restaurant and you may have to sit in front of a stranger if alone, but thats part of the charm.
Really delicious , authentic beef noodles! Chinese taste is not improved
Unbelievable
Food portions are good, all options could use more vegetables. Extra spicy not quite spicy enough. Good authenticity though.
Amazing authentic hand made noodles. Delicious!
They literally dont clean their material and my bf got an allergies reaction
Delicious noodles that are filling and comforting. Portions are huge and very good for the price. Nice options of sides as well. You get to pick the type of noodles and the thickness really customize the whole soup. Vegetarian options are great (tofu sides, veggie noodle soup). The quality of the soups really explains why they re so busy!
A staple of my life in Montréal. I ve been coming once or more a month since I moved here three years ago. It is the perfect little restaurant. The new server is great too, he s very refreshingly enthusiastic and friendly!
A gem in downtown. The broth is super tasty. Very attentive service and authentic snacks. Can t ask for more at this price and taste level.
This place offers the best noodles I ever had in Beijing, Seattle, or anywhere. The noodles are really chewy. The Xi an cold noodles were especially tasty. The portion sizes are huge I always ordered Large Bowl but could barely finish. Both the Lam Zhou beef noodles and the sour vegetables noodles were as good as any version I had anywhere else: the beef tastes really authentic, just like the ones I used to have in Beijing many years ago. Even side dishes like cucumbers are good. Not pricey at all considering the size portion size. Was there twice in 5 days- would have been there more often.
Classic noodles joint next to McGill on Sherbrooke, super crowded and usually a wait. You get a lot of food.
ordered the special lanzhou beef noodles. the broth was good and the noodles texture were nice. only giving 3 stars because i felt pressured to give a tip when prompted by the staff although I don t feel the service was that spectacular. take note this place doesn t accept credit card, only debit card.
Food is really good. The place is quite small and I was sharing my table with another patron. However I still recommend it.
It s not easy to eat ramen from my hometown in the West Island. The capillary ramen is delicious and the pot pork is sweet and sour. The waiter Selina is attentive, clean and tidy, making people feel safe and happy eating.
I love nothing less Homemade broth as well as noodles. The waiters suggest the best choices Try them in combo Here is the beef soup with noodles two xi
Since 2 weeks now, I m craving to eat noodles!!! Wanna change and try something new other than pho or ramen. Look on Google I find this place with a lot of good reviews, no choice to make a try. Finding a parking it s nearly a miracle here, have to walk 4-5 blocks to get at this restaurant. Inside its smell so good already, dine in was quite tiny. Service are excellent, they bring the menu at first place so when we get a table the meals are prepared. We don t have a choice to share table with strangers. Meal comes fast and hot, I suggest to get combo not much expensive. Medium or large seems same thing difference it s more broth. Food are excellent surely I will come back. After the meal you must leave because lots of customers are waiting to eat. For 2 weeks now, Ive been wanting to eat noodles!!! I want to change and try something new other than pho or ramen. Oil spill - the best noodles Ive ever had! The beef noodles were also incredible. Service is quick and so fun to watch everything be hand made be made in the front window.
This is a small restaurant mainly for McGill students I guess. When i got in there I can see most of the customers were students. It was quite crowded and I had to share table with others. But food was good and price was reasonable. It is a good place for genuine Chinese noodle soup.
Nice Chinese handmade noodles near the Mcgill University campus, with flavourful soup. Their spicy, cold chicken was not spicy at all, but definitely worth the money for its portion. However, be prepared to queue awhile (or share your table with other patrons) as they have limited seatings.
When I checked out, the bill was about $31.23. The waiter said cash or credit card. I said I would give you cash and just give me 5 yuan. The waiter told me that I had to tip 15%. After calculation, it was about 36$. He gave me coins of about 4$ or 3$. I just wanted to ask. I have already given you cash, which saves you from using the card machine. The handling fee is also allowed to be credited to your account quickly. Is it so short of money? Just eating noodles in such a crowded environment, there is no dining experience at all, and you have to share the table with others. Merchants should reflect on this!
Great food. Great taste. Great price. Great portion. Great service. Great location.
Very good noodles shop near McGill, quite cheap for the portions
I don t know if this place can be even called a restaurant. The space was so tight. You had to share a table with other groups and you were almost touching other people s elbows. I had to listen to the conversation of the other group the whole time and I did not feel like say a word to my group. It was so awkward. It was the worst dining experience ever. At the time I paid my bill, the waitress told me only cash and debit card were acceptable and an extra 2% will be charged if you pay by credit card. Why wasn t this be brought up before I placed the order? I would just walk away. I was not happy about this so I skipped the tip. But she kept asking for the tips as if I owed them. For the poor service they offered, they deserved $0 tip. If they thought their customers should pay them tips, justify it by offering good service.

19.99 combo u had meat egg and veggie and small side dishes salade. food is ok
The line was long, but the service is quick and youre in and out. You share tables with other people since its a small place, but the meal is worth it! We got the thickest noodle and it was nice and chewy and soaked up the broth. Great flavour and a huge portion!
So they gave me a HUGE bowl of soup It was easy for 2 peoples. this SOUP guys, SLAPS. Usually pho place serve dishwater but this one was seasoned the flavor !!!! The beef TENDER!!! They could go more with the greens too but heeyyyhhh for that price.10/10
Great spot with amazing noodles. They say they accept cash only but they do except cards (but there is a small additional charge). The dining area was a tight squeeze but the food is made quickly and its fantastic for the price. Worth a stop if you like noodles!
The place is very very small, I had to be seated with another person The food was good, and the noodle options were nice, price is on the slightly higher side but understandable Food : 4/5
Come here for cheap prices, delicious food and amazing price. Went here 2 people. Honestly one of the best restaurants Ive ever been to. (Price to happiness ratio). The food was amazing, its clear the cooks are very good at their job, my server(Cathy) was amazing(never seen better service). Not to mention the prices are cheap and the food comes in very large portions. The only downside is that theres a line at the start and the atmosphere is a bit crowded. But dont worry it all passes by very fast, you wont even notice. I spent 24 dollars and we went out incredibly full. This is one of the best restaurants in Montreal for its price.
The best noodles I have ever eaten in my life. If you are in Montreal, dont leave without trying them. I would only suggest improving the hygiene of the place and the bathrooms. From there on out, perfect!
Great noodles, unbeatable prices
Go to spot for quality noodles in Montreal. I m no noodle connoisseur but these must be the best I ve ever had, and prices are quite reasonable. Inside is a bit crowded and sometimes loud, but having to maybe sit next to a stranger and listen to dough being smacked on a metal table is all part of the experience. If you can t handle this take it to go, this is a must try.
The food here is delicious and the waitess in the front is professional and friendly. I like this restaurant very much.
