I’ve been a fan of Sammi & Soup for years, visiting locations in St. Catherine downtown, Côte-des-Neiges, and most recently, the one at Royalmount. Each location has its own charm, but this one stands out with its modern and fresh look. As for the food? Consistently excellent. The dumplings remain as delicious as ever. I recommend starting with the shrimp wonton soup, my go-to favorite—before exploring other options. You can’t go wrong with the classic juicy pork dumplings, which are both economical and reliably satisfying. This time, I tried the black truffle dumplings. Though the portion is smaller than usual (5 dumplings vs 10), the flavor is incredible. You can really taste the truffle, and it doesn’t feel like they skimped on quality. Definitely worth it. Great job, Sammi & Soup!
Nice restaurant in Royalmount. One of the more affordable dine in restaurants for this location. Plenty of soup in their dumplings. Just be aware the restaurant can be full during busy hours.
No better place than Sammi Soup Dumplings after a quick shopping session at the RoyalMount. Much less busy than the foufou foodcourt. Food is great, drinks are great people are great.
Amazing soupe dumplings! I’ve tried multiple Sami and Soupe Dumpling locations and this one is one of the best! The food was great quality and prices (I recommend the Classic Juicy Pork) and the atmosphere here is very elegant! The most elegant location I’ve been to so far. The service was excellent, nice music and very clean. 10/10
We arrived right before the dinner rush on a Saturday and were greeted by a friendly staff offering us our choice of seating. The restaurant was clean and decorated beautifully. It's quite different from the other location I've been too. The dumplings were delicious and the black litchi tea we ordered was very good. I look forward to returning for more soup dumplings.
We recently visited the newly opened Sammi & Soupe Dumpling at Royalmont Mall, and it was an amazing experience! The restaurant has a chic, clean, and simple decor that immediately sets a welcoming atmosphere. The service was super friendly and attentive. But the real highlight is the food—absolutely delicious! The cooking is authentically crafted, with flavors that are both traditional and elevated. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great dumplings and an overall delightful dining experience!
Absolutely gorgeous place. Perfectly matches the vibe of the mall. Always loved Sammi Dumplings and was happy it was open in the mall right close to work. Good quality food. Friendly service. Atmosphere relaxing. It's located outside of the mall so easily accessible. During lunch time better reserve in advance
I got the special Royalmount ONLY teriyaki beef dumplings🥟. VERY good and well paired with the soya/vinegar/spice sauce. I also tried the lychee tea which was also had a great fruity taste🍵 Thanks to my servers and cooks for the great service💯 Also! 10% if for all Royalmount employees💫

Food up to the Sammi standard: good. Service was pretty slow when we came for supper. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant matches the vibe of the mall itself, new and modern, a bit less soul than how the usual Sammi & Soups look.

Got in at 2:14 I got seated almost right away since I was eating alone. But then it took them more than 10 minutes to come take my order when people next to me who were already there before me ordered more food and the waiter took theirs right away. I had to wait for a second server to take my order. Then it takes another 10-15 minutes for my food to come when the people next to me got theirs like 5 mins later ? Also I didn t have any side sauces like chili sauce or soy sauce or anything like that on my table while all other tables had. I don t know why but I feel like they didn t really take me seriously maybe because I was eating alone. When the waiter came with my food he said sorry because he knew that they had taken a long time to get my order. Not sure what I was expecting but it definitely wasn t this. So disappointing since I only heard good things about this place but reality was different :(

Im not a big connoisseur of these places. In my subjective opinion, the food is 50/50. We took several different dishes and everything jumped from tasty to not so tasty. Therefore this assessment. The service is pleasant, the atmosphere is calm. As for the location. There are no clear signs in the shopping center, so it took about 10 minutes to find a restaurant.
Waitress outright ignored us three times with a restaurant almost empty, even when raising my hand to call them and raising my voice too. Straight disrespectful, she didn t even look at us

Really like the area but i d have to say it was very hidden. I had to give them a call to figure out where they were but regardless I really feel like the dumplings here are a lot more dedicatedly made than the ones dt. Though the peanut butter noodle were a bit salty. Just a tad tho but other than that 10/10 for Sammi!

Let me explain my rating. The food here is exceptional, especially the dumplings with their special truffle and pork addition. The ambiance is upscale and more refined than other dumpling spots. Unfortunately, they didnt accept American Express during my visit. hope they consider adding this payment option in the future as it could make this my go-to dumpling place. While the service was mostly good, there was a minor mix-up with my order. Additionally, I noticed some tables with food that hadnt been ordered yet.

Very good restaurant, we had difficulty finding it at Royalmount because it is located outside the shopping center. The service is very long it may not be the best beach if you are in a hurry. The Xiao long bao pork and leeks are the best!!

Just trying to be as neutral/objective as possible since I grew up in Vancouver having enjoyed all kinds of top quality Asian food. This place was a tiny bit challenging to find as youll need to walk out the door from one end of the mall and proceed to the left (lack of signage). Once we got in, I was very impressed by the clean/simple decor. I was warmly greeted and surprisingly the food items were actually cheaper than expected like $12 for 10 pcs of dumplings which would cost $17+ in VanCity! In terms of food quality by Montreal Asian standards, its pretty decent!! Youll understand if you ever stumbled into some random Asian restaurants there. The classic Xiao Loong Baos tasted OK, just not enough soup inside. The fried dumplings were not bad too! The only thing I didnt like was the cold noodle which was very hard to chew... it wasnt like al dente... just got too much of grainy texture... maybe undercooked? Overall, it was a very comfy dining experience!! The service staff were friendly and attentive.

Personally, this location taste much better than the one in st-Catherine. It s much more cleaner, with a nicer environment and the orders came way faster. I just love their Xiao long bao(the porc and the chicken mushroom one tasted fantastic)! The pumpkin mousse itself isn t sweet at all, in fact, most of the flavour came from the syrup poured on it, but the flaky biscuit below the mousse was good.

Well, the dumplings were delicious, I just felt very uncomfortable with the other diners who kept staring at my wife and daughter, maybe being Latin in a fancy place is not pleasant for the diners but the food was perfect. If you are an expert in this type of food, then it is your place. Just arrive with your best outfit or if you are a influencer with 1 million followers you will have no problems.
Overall a very classy place, very clean and the service is amazing so is the food very good and affordable.

OMG their soup Dumplings!! Weve always loved Sammi & soup Dumplings but the commute to the other location was a bit too long and finding parking takes forever so this is perfect. The ambiance was great, food was fantastic and the restaurant was clean. Highly recommend!
