What kind of individual will knowingly serve food that’s bad and charge you an arm and a leg for it… the standard of freshness in the food is absent…it’s like left overs from the raccoons…. Tables are filthy, garbage has no covering, Chia late is watery … you taste more water flavour than the chia and milk. The date square tasted stale condensed milk left out too long like stale milk… Unpleasant, Atmosphere some people use it to talk really loud on speaker phone in languages you don’t understand so it basically noisy… some people are on camera what’s app and you can hear the entire conversation …. Save your money … Consistently bad food with excellent service.. Active deception: I also bought a sandwich before and I got sick but I went back to give them a second chance … no changes…
First impression, the staff was not friendly. They did not even say hello, thank you or smile the whole time and showed the attitude when I asked the price of one item again. Perhaps, it was not good morning for them. The cookies was very hard, brownies were dried. I ordered capuccino small size, it was indeed super small, only finished after 3-4 small sips.
For the first time I tried sandwiches in Cafeto, very health and tasty. Everything is fresh and prepared same day. I loved it and highly recommend it.
I give it 3 stars because the cleaning of the tables is not appropriate to the health regulations still in force as of November 28, 2021 (Covid); no antibacterial product is used for cleaning, while the vaccine passeport is mandatory as well as wearing a mask. As a customer I find this negligence disappointing although their coffee is excellent.
I work right across the street at Dawson, and quite honestly, Caféto has been a regular coffee pit stop for me for several years. Their lattes are great (+ affordable pricing) and the staff is polite and friendly. Last but not least, I love drawing on their blank craft coffee sleeves to personalize my beverages. ☕️✍🏻
Best coffee in Alexis nihon. Avoid the chains and get your drink and snack on!
I like this place for its selection of tea and convenient location to work but I have to say today will be the last time I go. I picked up a tea and spinach/feta pastry and was completely disgusted when I noticed a hair was baked into the pastry. I went back to return it and the woman at the counter (I'm pretty sure she's one of the managers) just threw it out and exchanged it for another one without even saying anything to me. I would have liked a little more acknowledgement from her (my money back as well as a complimentary pastry or something). The two women who seem to own the place are definitely not the nicest people; it seems like they are annoyed by the customers.
First and last time we come here, there are so many things wrong with this place, starting by the coffee, astoundingly expensive microscopic size, tastes like burnt coffee where 60% of the cup is filled by plain foam, my wife had a date square which was evidently purchased at Costco. I had a wrap that was "half" the size of a normal wrap which only had a spate of tuna and a ton of cucumbers. Seriously disgusting experience.
Vegetarian options: The best muffins! Food
Good coffee, great service Hot chocolate unavailable at 6 p.m.
Terrible hot chocolate!
The lady was very friendly and served us in French. On the other hand, this business does not respect municipal regulations: the lids of the coffee glasses are not recyclable
Friendly staff, always pleasant.
One of the worst almond croissants! I also invite the guy who works there to interact with customers less arrogantly!
I love their muffins which seem to be made fresh in the morning. I ordered two muffins, for my work colleague and I, and there appeared to be mold on each of our muffins. After removing the muffin completely from its paper, there were black spots on the top and bottom of the muffin. I went back and they told me it was oil !! The coffee is not worth the detour.
The muffin was a week old So dry and they still selling it Food
the coffee taste sad .
Amazing coffee, professional staffs and always clean. Highly recommend
Extremely rude
Foods are tasty. Price is decent. Service is Excellent. The only problem is the table which aren`t clean most of time.
rude and over priced.
Im usually around Alexis Neon mall but its the first time I try this cafe and its super affordable and tasty. If youre a student at Dawson, take the extra few seconds to come up here and get a delicious breakfast sandwich (made with a real egg and its fluffy!).
Tries to rob you by pretending to misunderstand the order. When confronted: feigns ignorance.
Ok coffee
I like coffee they have
Mediocre drip coffee (tastes pretty old and about 1/3 the required grounds) and reluctant to give napkins. I guess stingy on both accounts.
very good inexpensive muffin, my headquarters when I go to Atwater
Great coffee, great service, a good variety of food as well.
Pastry was really dry, and had no taste
GOOD.
With smile service, feeling cosy comfortable, pastry is always good. Today, I ordered regular coffee, wow, was more better than the mc and Tim, professionally choose coffee ! Thank you!
Im blown away by the negative reviews I see of Cafeto - I think the lattes are some of the nicest in the neighbourhood, with the exception of Cafe Pacefika a few blocks away which is proper artisan coffee. Ive always found the staff pleasant (if not overly friendly) and efficient which is what Im looking for in a takeaway coffee spot. I havent had a chance to sample their food yet, but it always looks fresh and appealing with some very indulgent squares available for an afternoon pick-me-up. Another thing I like about Cafeto is that they serve their coffee in high quality takeaway cups with proper sleeves to prevent you burning your hands, and they offer trays for larger orders - this is super useful when picking up an order for coworkers and is why I always choose Cafeto over the closer Tim Hortons we have on-site.
Caramel Frappuccino was good and the lady working there was extremely nice and friendly!
I ordered in French. I was served the wrong thing. When I told the lady (who seems to be the owner) in English that that was not what I ordered, instead of admitting to not having understood my order in French, she yelled at me saying yes, this is what you have ordered. In short, if you want polite and courteous service, prefer the café located in the restaurants section of the 1st floor.
Coffee of varying quality
We ordered a smoothie and we got this with big ice cubes, I do not recommend. It tastes more water than fruit...
This store is attractive , and neatly . Super food and warmly service.
Good coffee with good service always a smile.
Coffee very good, but the staff is very definitely so rude that we will never ever return.
Just had the worst cafe experience ever.. burnt coffee with 75% milk foam that was supposed to be a flat white... Date square that was hard and stale... Tuna wrap that smelled bad before I took it out of its bag and the tiniest scant amount of tuna... All for $15.36.. I cannot believe they are still in business..
Very bad experience ,, I ordered a medium cappuccino, and I was surprised by how light my cup was, then I realized that its 50% foam ! Very disappointed ! Muffin looked good but it taste bad and dry ! Also very over priced ... Sad
Very good espresso
Very good coffee but the staff is so rude that we will never come back.
They know how to make a good espresso.
