Durant cette période, seul le petit-déjeuner sera offert sous forme de buffet et sera situé au 2e étage du Sofitel Montréal Le Carre Doré. ****Beautification of the Renoir**** We inform you that our restaurant Renoir will be temporarily relocated from April 16th for a beautification project. During this period, only the breakfast will only be offered as a buffet and will be located on the 2nd floor of the Sofitel Montreal Le Carre Doré.
The experience was warm and inviting. The hostess was pleasant and we did wait to be seated. Our waitress was very friendly and polite and once our meals arrived it was well prepared, tasty and the servings were very appropriate. The coffee was strong and hot just as we enjoy it.
Good modern take on French cuisine in heart of downtown Montreal. Service is exceptional and ambiance is modern with modern lounge electric music being Deejayed live. Food is of high quality and well presented and very flavorful with natural flavors only being accentuated vs being overwhelmed. Place is spacious and good for large groups and for special events.
Beautiful hotel in thé heart of Montréal. Food at the restaurant was very good as well. A little pricy for what it was so normally I’d give iit a 4 star but the server JP really made all the difference! His energy and joie de vivre despite his handicap really made our night. Check it out when he’s working, worth it 100 percent! 💯💪
Steak was cooked to expectation, tender and juicy. Grilled octopus was also tender and tasty. It also has kids menu. I think it closes late at night because I saw people coming around 9 pm. Service was excellent. All staffs were very nice and hardworking, especially the one arranging seating. The main entrance is on the right inside the hotel lobby.
Amazing stay at Sofitel and great service and food at restaurant Renoir! We took breakfast every morning of our stay and had a dinner for Valentine's day at the restaurant. Service was perfect, the waiters and waitresses take really good care of you and are genuinely nice. This makes the experience even better than expected. The food was amazingly good, mocktails exquisite and a large choice of wines for the wine lovers. Big thanks to both teams (hotel & restaurant) for making our stay so special !
The ambiance is very nice and the waiter was very professional, warm and cheery. The wine selection is very good and there are a lot of choices. The food was amazing. Everything was cooked to the perfection. The balance between the ingredients worked very well and it was a joy to eat all the courses. They treated the ingredients with respect and could taste the freshness in them. The portions are generous too. You'll be very full after a three course meal. Overall, I really enjoyed and strongly recommend it. We will definitely be back for more.
great amazing food here octopus entree was fresh and juicy. deserts were tasty and the fish is very fresh. lunch special very worth it for 36. would recommend anyone to come try and enjoy. you won't regret. very classy place with top notch service
This place is great. They have FANTASTIC menu, everything is fresh, service is professional, and all dishes are so beautifully presented. We came for lunch during the week and were happy to learn they have good package deals :)
RESTAURANT TEMPORARILY CLOSED The reopening initially planned for the end of November 2024 is delayed to mid-December 2024 but they do not have a date or additional information. The hotel does have room service and a basic breakfast buffet but the Renoir restaurant is closed despite the fact that the company updated the opening hours 9 weeks ago.
Craft beer is delicious.
Damn you guys, you guys are so good, I dont know what you were looking at to make this review. Youre so bad, the taste is just so-so. Instead, go to a McDonalds nearby.
Beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown. Romantic setting for a date.
service deplorable
I went for brunch last Sunday and I have to say the selection for the buffet was exquisite. I highly recommend
5 stars to our server Martin! Thank you for the excellent service and warm welcome!
Exquisite foie gras! Delicious tuna and caviar tataki! You must try the pâté en croute.
Food was mid, interior was a lil bland and for 100$ with taxes and tip per person, the food selection and interior design is like a regular brunch place. We thought this restaurant would be like the buffet in Sofitel Athens which is one of the top breakfasts buffets in the world. But it s really not like that at all.
Good place for a wonderful people in love. Thank you for care. Vegetarian options: Nice vegan options Dietary restrictions: Nice wine Kid-friendliness: Nice and warm for new born kids Wheelchair accessibility: It is absolutely impossible, but if you take the friends, they can help
Breakfast was nice
Best meal ever, everything was perfect Excellent food I recommend. I will go back to try something else. Dietary restrictions: I was offered an alternative following my allergies.....it was greatly appreciated
We went there for the New Year s Eve brunch buffet. The hot food was mediocre/disappointing but the fruit was fresh and Waldorf salad was so refreshing. Bakery was AMAZING and pastry was just a bit too sweet (I really really enjoyed the raspberry mini cake!!). We wish there was more selection for hot dishes.
It was a first time in this restaurant, the service was perfect and warm, we also liked the atmosphere with spaced tables (a nice intimacy, even if the decor is not to our taste) on the other hand the negative point It s food! Very classic/school dishes with no surprises (I had to add salt to my zucchini starter )! In short, average quality/price! We paid less for a very surprising and excellent 7-course gourmet restaurant than 3 courses here!
This review is about customer service. I reserved a table for 4 for the brunch on Jan 1st online. Then I called the restaurant right away to confirm the reservation before inviting my guests. The gentleman confirmed that we have a reservation and all is good. The day after I received a call from someone saying that our reservation is for a breakfast and not brunch! And they have no spot left for brunch. I explained to her that this is not acceptable because I even called and confirmed, and then invited my guests. But, she blamed her new employees instead of taking responsibility and kept saying that she can t do anything! Then she blamed me because for the fact that the restaurant is very famous and I had to reserve earlier! She also asked if I m staying at the hotel, which I m not. In any case I don t understand what difference it makes! It should be 1st come, 1st served! I know the food is great but the customer service for such a restaurant is not acceptable. You made a mistake, at least own it instead of blaming others, and try to make it up to the customer!
I find that the restaurant has a lot of potential, however it lacks atmosphere to make the place more welcoming and warm, the room lacks a little style. The staff is respectful, however I felt forgotten at times because of the wait to be served, they were a bit of everything. I was not impressed and this is my first visit. On the food side I give it 7/10, I find that we can enhance the taste a little more and play with the flavors. I didnt get the wow effect... A great restaurant is a combination of several elements to offer a unique experience, a je ne sais quoi that invites you to return. Renoir is on the right track, however there is room for improvement.
I have been to the Sofitel restaurant, Le Renoir, a total of 3 times. The first time for a birthday, the 2 subsequent times for dinners for special occasions. The food was always delicious, we were able to try refined and varied dishes, including seafood which is often on the menu. Although the menu is not very large, the products are always fresh and well presented. The only downside is that they have little room to accommodate the dishes in the event of dietary restrictions, since in particular the sauces are sometimes prepared in advance, which makes the choices on the menu all the more limited...
The best ever for lunch..price is right and choices are great...and good portion!!! Has à lunch menu .
Loved the place. I would say for the price, if wasnt to my taste. Im basing this on having better tasteful food a quarter the price (not fast-food, real restaurant). Still the food was great, service amazing, place clean. I would recommend if you want to spend a bit more to have an experience
A great culinary experience, excellent sweetbreads with a divine chocolate dessert. The chef was not present but his team is on top. A very attentive service... Parking: Valet available
We eat well and there is room to study
A sure hit every time!
An outstanding downtown restaurant
Best brunch in town, reserve in advance but the New Year s Day brunch is outstanding.
Overall good food but very small portion for the price. They did not have a lot of choices in their menu.
French 0nion Soup was perfect. Service was impeccable.
Intricate , absolutely lovely taste. Amazing.
Excellent service with healthy and tasty food options.
Its a very nice restaurant with a personable staff, good food and drinks. Upscale atmosphere and pricy, but a good dining experience.
It was the worse experience we had! We had a reservation at 9:30am and we came 15 min late but then the host told us we have 20 min to eat since they have another group coming! How could we eat in 20min? Service has gone down throughout the years. We came here many times before but needless to say this will be the last! We are also boycotting all the Sofitels! The worse service ever!
Great food and service - surpassed my expectations!
Excessively disappointed by the quantity of food on the plates considering the price and the poor quality of service. We were even told in a cavalier manner to leave quickly because the service was over. Choose another restaurant for brunch!
Everything I tasted was delicious! Also, I really appreciated the service with a waiter who was always there when needed, with an exceptional welcome (with a white rose to all the mothers).. I have very good memories of the very pleasant hours spent at the restaurant and I recommend it to everyone.
A great Montreal table.
Looking for a more quiet restaurant but with excellent service, food and vibe? Renoir has an excellent lunch service. The food is very fresh and tasty. Their service is on point and who doesn t love eating under Veuve Cliquot umbrellas?
The restaurant is bright and comfortable! We ordered some drinks in the bar area and took a break, then moved to the dinner table. The presentation and taste of the dishes are very good, the beef is very tasty; the squid ink seafood pasta is especially delicious and tender, without any fishy smell, recommended! Plus, the staff here are quite friendly and hospitable!
The food was good, a bit too overpiced in my humble opinion. I needed binoculars for the menu ;-)
Good coffee. My experience there was sad because I forgot a hat given to me by my wife as a fathers day present I left it in the table, called it after 10 min they simply said sorry is not there, we cannot find it in 10 min!!?
Shee shee resto bar in major downtown resto. Food is good, bar is extensive, venue is super clean - maybe too clean and prices are inflated as youd suspect. The patio is great and the staff is awesome.
Very nice discovery. Excellent and fine cuisine. Very good service. Reasonable portions for the standard of the restaurant (we eat really well with the starter, main course and dessert). The vegetarian dishes are a little less tasty but just as sought after. The vanilla dessert is superb! The others are a little more classic
Great for breakfast when we stayed at Sofitel. Really nice casual evening menu if you dont want to go for the more formal option.
Very good cuisine and impeccable service. Its just a little expensive.
I went for my Birthday with 8 of my girlfriends. We opted for the Sunday Brunch at 11am.They Loved it! My 24th time eating le Renoir.
Located in the Sofitel Montreal hotel, Renoir is a remarkable modern French restaurant that offers an extraordinary dining experience. The octopus was expertly cooked to achieve a delightful tenderness that leaves a lasting impression. Beyond the octopus, Renoirs menu showcases a captivating fusion of classic French techniques and contemporary creativity. With every plate, youll encounter impeccable presentation, attention to detail, and the finest ingredients. The restaurants elegant ambiance and attentive staff contribute to an overall dining experience that is sophisticated and memorable. For a modern French culinary journey that surpasses expectations, look no further than Renoir at Sofitel Montreal. Whether youre seeking the tender octopus or a complete exploration of their exceptional menu, Renoir delivers a gastronomic experience that will enchant and delight.
Good delicious breakfasts very well served. The service is a bit slow and they forget a lot about the tables but it is a good place to enjoy a good breakfast
I came here for a business lunch and loved it; the beautiful terrasse, the service and food.
Really a great discovery. Everything was A-1
Once again, thank you to the entire Renoir team!
I took my Fiancee to Restaurant Renior for a surprise romantic late Sunday brunch and they did not disappoint. The restaurant layout is one that is not crowded, there is lots of room between tables so 8t makes for a peaceful, romantic environment that makes conversation easy. It was spot on, food was fantastic and extremely tasty. The wet scrambled eggs are to die for, melt in your mouth delicious. Personally, I would like to see more availability of pastries and or toasts but that would be my only... personal request and not really a complaint. I will say that beyond the eggs and some bacon, and hasbrowns, its not really a kid friendly type of brunch buffet. It is extremely sophisticated in its offerings and well worth every penny. As a retired European Chef, it was definitely 5 stars for us and we look forward to returning again soon.
The dishes are good, but very expensive.
I really enjoyed my business lunch! The service was fast, pleasant, courteous, attentive and multi-personal. Surprisingly, prices are still affordable for a downtown lunch with this level of culinary quality and service. Well done to the whole team!
Always love this place
Always a great time to be spent splurging on luxuriously well done/refined simple French food in a stress-free upscale atmosphere friendly to baby/toddlers (their chicken fingers are to die for). My recommendation? Get the octopus and enjoy the small dessert tarts. The focaccia can be skipped. The rest of the food is on the excellent side of good despite not being mind-blowing with tasty layers (foodies used to bouillon bilk stuff might find this stuff decent). The staff is to be commended always attentive to needs and quick to respond. Also, Ive enjoyed exchanging emails with the staff in preparation for my sons first bday. Ive been there twice already for lunch and wouldnt hesitate to return. Best 200$ish ever spent on upscale family friendly food. Kid-friendliness: Superbly clean high chairs, staff is very responsive to requests to accommodate our toddler.
We ate breakfast at Le Renoir four times during a recent visit and we were very pleased with the experience. The service is consistently very professional. And the food while expensive is very good. I tried a number of items including the waffles. The waffles were outstanding, and I enjoyed each and every bite. The fruit is very fresh at this restaurant. The coffee is very good. And again I cannot emphasize enough that the service is top shelf. We would return to this restaurant without question.
had a great breakfast there will be returning
Pleasant dishes, attentive service. It was a little cold in the restaurant room due to the air conditioning...
complicated and noisy The food is salty~~
Food was outstanding. I thought that the nearby Roselys brunch was amazing but this was even better. Service however was a miss. Our waiter did not look like he cared about our table. He was not present during service, we had to ask to refill waters, order coffee, etc. For the quaity of the restaurant I expect top notch service. I still left 15% because I was for a long time in the service industry and the rest of the staff probably pools tips, but I would have probably left well over 20% had the waiter been attentive. The other staff members that picked up plates from our table were very nice, it was just our waiter that seemed to be having a bad day. He did not even stay to take care of the bill or say bye, someone else printed the bill and took payment. Overall amazing food but our experience was tarnished by the service.
I went to the Renoir restaurant yesterday with my fiancé. Honestly the dishes were too good, nothing to say! I was a little disappointed with the service. All the servers were so nice and welcoming except for one lady (I dont remember her name). She was an older lady with a short haircut who was arrogant with me. Since I arrived I have only said thank you thank you. When she asked me if I wanted regular or mineral water I said no, I don t want any. She didnt appreciate it and since then she just asks my fiancé if the food was good and bon appetit, but frankly I didnt like his service at all. Either we ask everyone or no one. That on the one hand. On the other hand, I had checked on the site that it was for my birthday. A colleague of mine told me that normally they give you a free cake with a candle, something that was not made. Which disappointed me too much. He had already been given a cake for his birthday. Otherwise what is the point of having checked that it is for a birthday? If not to offer a cupcake.
Expensive but worth every penny
Excellent cuisine, Excellent service.
Amazing food. We had a private brunch at Renoir after our wedding. The food was amazing and staff was very helpful and accommodating for allergies. Our guests at an amazing time. It was one of my favourite parts of our wedding.
A super cool restaurant, hidden in the Sofitel Golden Mile, breakfast also is a pleasure, I recommend the Montréalais with salmon and eggs cooked to perfection. Excellent service Vegetarian options: A super range healthy vegetarian and soft cocktails
I have been a regular at the Renoir for many years and use the restaurant for work meetings. After recent experiences, I am sad to say that the Renoirs hey days are sadly over. Whilst the food remains good (but no where near the prepandemic standards), the service has declined dramatically and really mars the overall dining experience. In the last two weeks, I booked a breakfast meeting and then a dinner at the Renoir. On both occaisions the waiters mixed up our orders, were inattentive and slow. Strangely they have difficulty understanding both English and the French we speak in Quebec. They are a younger crew who whilst friendly, are quite disorganised .and uncoordinated. I really hope that this once solidly good Montreal establishment does not go down the drain. The Renoir really needs to look at service very closely should it wish to maintain its reputation.
I dont remember ever being so poorly regarded in a restaurant. The servers really werent courteous to me at all. And yet I myself am very courteous and smiling. I ate alone as usual. The oysters I ordered were poorly shelled and had shells in half of them. I wanted to ask for a wine suggestion for these oysters, but she made me regret having asked by telling me curtly that it depended on my tastes. I ended up choosing a Sancerre myself, seeing his exasperation. I ordered tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. I eat the legs well cooked but here they were really really overcooked. The porcini mushrooms were also bland. First time that I havent finished my plate in a restaurant of this range... First time I have to ask for a glass of water and bread! In a French restaurant I had to ask for the bread The waiters werent paying any attention to me and as the other customers had left I was entitled to their debriefings of funny things about their working days in complete indiscretion. I wanted to cheer myself up with a glass of champagne to forget this service and meal. Unfortunately for me the waiter told me that this was not possible because the bar had been closed for ten minutes. I am leaving disappointed with this experience which cost me $109 and $20 in tips. Despite everything, the place was very charming and nicely decorated.
Staff is amazing, food phenomenal.
Sunday brunch: 1) Attentive and very courteous staff. 2) Cuisine: having come several times, the quality really dropped since covid. Ordinary dishes, more like bistro food than a quality restaurant. Really disappointed on this point. The decline of desserts is close to function1/x 3) Setting and atmosphere ok
Excellent tasty quality food Friendly helpful staff Stylish design Food : 5/5
Overall very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Kitchen : - Bland and uninteresting starters - Dishes well cooked but very linear - Supermarket style cheese - Very good desserts made by the pastry chef Service: pitiful, Martine gave us no consideration and was super expeditious in her service. No presentation of the dishes when serving them, everything was mechanical and without enthusiasm. The experience was sad. Atmosphere: all this context meant that we didnt really have a good evening for a bill at $200 for 2. We came as part of Montréal à Table, where restaurants must create special and sophisticated menus to amaze the guests, but we left stunned by the price VS the overall quality of this restaurant.
An exceptional place! A very pleasant restaurant, welcoming and very professional smiling bartenders! Thanks to Krystian, Jean-Philippe and Frédéric for the welcome!
Love this place. My rating: 5/5
Last nights dining experience at Renoir was a delightful journey for the taste buds. The cuisine, a masterful blend of flavors and finesse, left us completely satisfied. Each dish was a testament to the chefs expertise, turning simple ingredients into culinary masterpieces. The service was impeccable professional, attentive, yet unobtrusive, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. While the decor harkens back to a bygone era, it adds a unique charm to the dining experience, making Renoir not just a meal, but a memorable event. - Last nights dinner at Renoir was a real journey for the taste buds. This review long overdue excellent French dishes we enjoyed visiting Montreal..
One of the best French restaurants in Montréal. Dont miss It.
One of the best French cuisines in Montreal. Impeccable service and a distinguished and relaxing atmosphere. . We would happily go back.
Delicious, great service
Stayed at Sofitel and ate at Renoir. The service was above and beyond. The food was absolutely amazing. What a beautiful experience, and we look forward to returning. Merci!
Good for its range! Not very flexible on Easter vs normal type menus, all customers must take the special menu or else no one
Nice place in the Softel hotel. A little pricy but good relaxing environment.
On my way to school, I stopped to get breakfast. I was clearly under dressed and a 14 year old kid, but I was not treated differently. I had the Montréalais and it was certainly the best breakfast I have ever eaten. The waiters were understanding of my time restriction and with out asking, he gave me the bill when my food came out. It is like he read my mind. Right before leaving, the chef comes to great us and we had a good conversation. It fulled me until dinner.
The consistency on in the good quality of the service and the good food is very refreshing
Great terrasse and food!
I would visit again and again
The bread offered was hard and chewy, and the food was mediocre and unremarkable at best - totally lacking in flavor and complexity. The service was friendly, but definitely not attentive, efficient or prompt. Nothing really stood out apart from the pretentiousness of masquerading as a fine dining venue. Definitely does not live up to the hype or the price. Would save my money and definitely avoid a future visit.
Everything was so good ! Best in Montreal
Very nice restaurant in the city center. Outstanding service and good, well-presented food. Special mention for Paul, an elegant and very professional young waiter.
I am quite picky about my food and I eat with my eyes. It was great, idyllic place, the flowers, the decor, everything was good. And the food I wont talk about, it was exquisite. I gave them 5 stars
We are placed inside without offering us the terrace, we are given access to the regular menu apparently (with tempting dishes for breakfast) to finally return with a menu (apparently the guy was wrong). It s a brunch menu with dishes that are certainly fancy but which no longer tempt you and at twice the price since the 3 course is the only choice. We finally ordered from the menu a plate of cheeses and cold meats to share with 4 small slices of bread (even though we wanted to leave but out of respect we had already ordered our mimosas...) and despite our requests we did not get a refill. In short, nice terrace but horrible service.
The places ambience is nice and the service is friendly. We orderes the waffle and the benedict (salmon). They charged us an extra 58 dollars to our room by accident and it took a bit of time to get that reversed so thag was annoying. Additionally, they didnt come to talk to us while we stood in front for about 5 minutes, so that was annoying. When they did talk to us, we got us seats near the front, and I had to speak to the concierge for about 2 minutes and they said okay that will be fine sir! politely. When I came back after the 2 minutes, they had given my seat to someone else, so that was also annoying.
I wold say food is not that great service is okay . The place super noisy and bright . Not that good experience for nice date .
Amazing tasting menu
It is sad to see how the service degraded at this restaurant. I always enjoyed hosting/ attending business breakfasts at Renoir. Service was always courteous and staff mindful of business meals (timely). Unfortunately, the service during the four last weeks seemed to have taken a hit, then today things went down to a new level! Today the receptionist left me waiting at the door to prepare a table, and when I gave her a sign that I just needed a minute to speak to her quickly before my guests arrive, she shushed me with the back of her hand disrespectfully and seemed clearly annoyed as if I cannot see that she was doing something else. I had a reserved table, but I was informed that no tables were ready. My option was to accept a table by the kitchen door in the back. My guests were already there waiting with me. Near the kitchen door, I noticed that waiters work. They were clearly stressed (the restaurant was not full though). One of them banged the kitchen door hard and swore as he was getting in the kitchen after discussing something with the chef. I know these are hard times for the culinary sector, but you pay the big price for Sofitel ($$$$), these scenes should not be included. It s a shame.
My fiancé and I stayed at the Sofitel and decided to come to Renoir for drinks and food. We each ordered a glass of wine which was brought to us right away. After that, we did not see our server for the next 40 minutes. Nobody came by to check in on us even though our drinks were finished. No water was brought to our table. Nobody came by to ask if we wanted any food. After I finally waved a server over, she came by asking if we needed anything else. We ordered another 2 glasses of wine and before my fiancé finished speaking, the server took off. My fiancé did not get a chance to order appetizers with our drinks. When she finally came back with our second round of drinks, I mentioned to her that we have been waiting to order some food the entire time we were here. The server did not seem apologetic at all about this. Food was alright, drinks were overpriced and service was very disappointing. Will not return.
Extremely disappointed, really its very average or even mediocre. First of all, the setting of the restaurant inside is a little dated and lacks atmosphere. Im not even talking about TV with sports... My fiancés bar barely fresh, my Steak lacks flavor in the sauce and presentation. It was an important event for us so my disappointment is really great, not to mention the price.
Really very good. The chef is awesome!
Nice terrasse ! Nice people!
Nice restaurant in sofitel Montreal. We had lunch. Not many selection.
Good stuff
It was soooo expensive to have a table d hôte brunch and a cocktail here on one Sunday. Considering the price, I think the food was very normal and overpriced.
Delicious and great service
Very nice place with good service. Menu is interesting. Outdoor seating was comfortable and sheltered from busy street. Tables were big enough to feel comfortable. Will go again.
Brunch Overall: average. No hello or goodbye. No fresh orange juice just from the bottle. No bread to accompany the meal. Acceptable meal but nothing really stands out for this price.
Food and service were both wonderful. We were seated outside (our choice) on a. Lovely covered patio. The interior was well-lit yet cozy on our walk through.
Excellent experience for brunch last Sunday. A caring team, a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Delicious and original dishes served in 3 courses. Thanks to the kitchen and dining room teams!
Excellent breakfast! Perfect service.
Great food and experience! Service was on point too!
Service is great but the food is overrated and obviously overpriced. presentation makes up for it but its still not a fair trade.
A little disappointed this time
Very good service and excellent food, I recommend it
Superb Continental Breakfast Loved it
I really enjoyed being there. It is a very good hotel. Kudos to all the management
One of the best brunch ever. Excellent service! Chic and sassy i love it especially since i am a champagne lover . Must try their brunch and they also have special brunch on special holidays
Good Danish Pasrty. Take the Renoir Brekafast, its a good deal. Depending on how hungry , two people can actually share one.
I stopped by while looking for a high-end restaurant nearby, and overall it was luxurious and delicious. However, the ice cream I ate for dessert was a bit disappointing.
Delicious food and drinks and excellent service from the staff. I would go again and recommend others to try Renoir. We had lunch and would go again to try brunch and dinner.
Our hotel recommended this restaurant since they were open on Mondays for our 35th anniversary. It started off great my Amaretto Sour was one of the best I ve had. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. I preferred the salad with beet dressing. The entire head of lettuce, including the core came in a bowl with cabbage and beet dressing. How does one gracefully cut into an entire had of lettuce while it s sitting in a bowl? It also lacked salt. I gave up struggling to eat it after 3 or 4 bites. My husband and I both ordered fish dishes. His came with over cooked, over salted clams and the fish itself was under seasoned. My fish was over cooked. The best part of the dish was the corn side dish. The staff was friendly but unfortunately I can not recommend the food.
If you look for a Beautiful Terrasse this is place and best customer service everything was delicious
The food was squarely mediocre in comparison to other restaurants in its price range. We were a party of four and all ordered different appetizers and main courses. Regrettably, this observation of mediocrity applies to all dishes ordered. The ambiance and service was nice and enjoyable.
Amuse bouche (tuna tartare) was delicious. The lobster/fennel salad didnt taste much, nor did the octopus accompaniment (fennel again). The octopus was cooked to perfection and the hazelnut dessert was delicious. Unfortunately, I dont think my dinner experience was worth what I paid.
Delightful restaurant. Delicious food and solid, friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
5 stars hotel with the dining experience of a highway diner! Everything is Disappointing, from the food to the service! Médiocre at best!
Excellent meal on the other hand as a person who has lived in French territory I would like to say that tipping is almost non-existent in France so tipping is not part of my culture but I still make the effort to tip in all restaurants. To my great surprise in this restaurant when paying I had an amount of more than $350 So 15% tips out of 350 is very expensive so I decide to put my amount and the waiter tells me when he sees my amount was there a problem with my service because you put a low percentage I was extremely shocked and disappointed that the waiter reflected on the tip amount I chose while knowing that the tip was not is in no way an obligation in Quebec I was very outraged, sorry if this is not part of my culture but you should review the main goal of being a waiter which is to serve the dishes to the customer nothing else it is not a competition of hypocrisy for extra money. This proves to what extent the servers pretend and are not at least honest.
Both the service and the food was scrumptious
Always impeccable service with dine dining, Sunday Brunch is a personal fav...!! Parking: Reduced rate parking at hotel if youre eating at the restaurant.
Excellent, unfortunately the lighting is very strong, I suggest taking sunglasses
The Hostess hung up her phone when she saw me walking in and gave me a very warm welcome. Food is delicious and the wine is good. The restaurant is modern and the atmosphere is warm. People are very nice and helpful. We are group of seven and we enjoy it so much. Keep up with the good work!
A big thank you! Succulent food, and impeccable service by our server Thomas R. Great (name on the invoice) service thank you very much! We will come back!!
Good service, nice place. Expensive drinks.
Unfortunately disappointed with the quality of the dishes overall considering their price, and particularly with the beef steak, concentrated in nerves and difficult to cut. There also seems to be a lack of communication and/or training between restaurant employees, which forced us, on the occasion of a birthday party, to refuse the presence of certain guests, despite the fact that the restaurant is not complete... The cocktails were, however, very good and Thomas service exceptional.
As usual, very nice, chill, good service and food. A perfect place to meet people and for business meetings.
Fantastic service! Comfy upscale experience
Expensive for what it is. We had an entree, main course and dessert. The truffle in the entree tasted bland. Main course meat (beef cheek) was great but sides were underwhelming. Dessert was good. However, price was very high which is why I rated it lower.
I want to thank Christian and the Renoir staff for being so wonderfully accommodating during our dinner last night. Delicious food, flexibility on our menus and some of the best cocktails Ive had in a while. Thank you Renoir!
Superb experience, everything was good from starter to dessert. Our server Michael greatly contributed to making the experience even more enjoyable. He is as passionate as ever.
The food is exquisite! I love that the staff is so helpful and attentive to its customers. Attention to detail is a must at this restaurant! A must see and a must to experience as well!
Price performance ratio is right. Friendly, attentive service. My lunch menu was great.
Great for a business lunch. Loved it.
Very very poor quality of food. Its still the first time Ive eaten grated truffle which has absolutely no taste. The celery ravioli starter consists of 2 pieces of thickly cut celery, with chickpeas underneath... The menu is beautiful on paper, without interest on the plate. The person who served us the wine wiped the neck of the bottle with... his fingers!!! This is unacceptable. The wine list is uninteresting. We sell you piquette at a crazy price compared to other more upscale restaurants. This is in no way a gourmet restaurant; the prices should really be lowered for such poor quality of food, wine and service. It was a pretty disastrous meal that we were served. $300 for that is very disappointing and bordering on a scam. Im not in the habit of writing bad reviews about the restaurants I go to, but now youre really making fun of the world.
Great up-scale restaurant. I have business meals here often.
Good Business breakfast spot
Non-alcohol drinks were great. Food was good overall. The steak was a bit dry.
Good international menu, consistent solid service. Not cheap, but a very dependable experience.
Excellent
This was the place that warmed our hearts with their hearty meals during the pandemic. And the very pleasant terrace.
If they offer the ratatouille, order it.
