Excellent food, service (Martial) is worthy of mention, so professional, smiling, kind, etc., in short everything was perfect.

I am a fan of quality meats and I often have steaks with aged and wagyu meats. The filet steak at this restaurant was very tough, no flavor. However, at $75, it should be good meat but alas! It was like special meats in supermarkets. Before, we ate good tender, juicy and high quality meat in this restaurant but we lost the quality. Next time I will go to KEG Steak House and Baton Rouge. Plus, there arent hot cross buns like before. Despite this, the servers were very nice and its not their fault.

Fries at the deli were surprisingly cold and dry. Seemed like an old batch. It was a first, usually they are fresh, so it is a bit deceiving.

This was my first experience at the Casino restaurant, and I must say it was a memorable moment. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, whose service was simply excellent. They were able to create a friendly atmosphere while remaining professional. The restaurants decor is truly elegant, combining modernity and refinement. Every detail, from the lighting fixtures to the carefully set tables, contributes to a pleasant ambiance. But what really stood out for my experience was the incredible view of the sunset! The pink colors of the sky were reflected on the water, creating a living picture that completely amazed me. I ordered a very tasty beef dish. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors perfectly balanced. The presentation of the plate was equally impressive. Although my photos cannot capture the emotion of the moment, this dinner was quite enchanting! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a dining experience that combines fine dining, impeccable service, and stunning views. It s a place where you feel privileged and where you want to come back!

For my birthday, my cousins, sister-in-law and I went to the restaurant Le Montréal! Wow! The service was really high quality! We were served by Christopher with attentive, professional and respectful service. He gave us great suggestions on the a la carte menu. He made sure there were no nuts for my (allergic) meal choices. The service was well beyond my expectations!!!!! Very impressed.

Normally I am still satisfied with the Food but this time, the beef cheek that I was served was not at all up to standard and digestion was also difficult! I was very disappointed! Unless there is a truly dramatic improvement, I will unfortunately not be returning when I visit the casino. I will go elsewhere from now on!

I went to eat at a restaurant for Fathers Day. I saw nothing special for the monetary surplus. The waitress told me that it was just the price that changed and that there was nothing more, it was true. I didnt have a fork in my place and I asked for one. I waited 10 minutes. Afterwards, I noticed that the waitress was thoughtful and hurried to give a fork to a gentleman who had left his fork in the plate on which he had been served. I took the opportunity to tell him that I still didnt have a fork. In addition, she wanted to serve me, but before removing my plate she placed a dirty plate from another person in my dish. Towards the end of the meal, I am asked to get up so that a waiter can pass his cart of dishes. This is the first time in this restaurant that I have been given such bad service. Until now I wonder why they did this????

My wife and I celebrated our birthdays today. She ordered a filet mignon and I ordered the contre filet. The doneness of the stakes were perfect. However, my peppercorn sauce compared to her mushroom sauce, tasted absolutely nothing. The St. Hubert pepper sauce tastes 10 times better. The restaurant charges an obscene amount for the meals but they dont even have place mats. When you are cutting your steak, your plate feels likes it is about to take a flight. The Lac Leamy Casino has variety in their menu, and the food is tasty at a reasonable price.

Very bad experience unfortunately. The service was impeccable, but the same cannot be said for the food. I don t think I m exaggerating when I say that you can very, very, very easily eat better elsewhere at a much lower cost. First of all, when we asked for bread, we were told that there was none (!). Hungry, I chose carrot salad as a starter. with lemon vinaigrette, coriander, yogurt/paprika/zaatar and fried pitas, if you dont have bread. I receive the plate in which there were indeed pieces of carrots... with capers (not mentioned and with tasteless labneh in the bottom. When I ask where the pitas are, I am told that the dish is made without pitas ( !! So change it on your menu!). The main course was bland and sad: an oat risotto (a good idea) with tempeh and vegetables. All I tasted was the strong taste of the tempeh and the oil the oats were swimming in (see photo). It was downright bad. Really very disappointed. We are very, very, very far from Robuchon. We will make sure to have dinner elsewhere before coming to the Casino.

It has become a little tradition that I take my father here for fathers day and his birthday, we game a bit, eat, have some wine and enjoy a nice outing. I have been to this restaurant 3 times now, it would have been 4 but they were closed the last time, I think they should have stayed closed. The first time I was there was June 2022, everything was excellent, service and food. I returned some months later, and ate well again, but the waiter and service was not great, we were almost ignored, my father had dropped his fork, and a couple had to get his attention for me, and later I had to actually get up myself to ask him for water. This last time, Monday January 8th, was the worst overall. It was my fathers 86th birthday, reservations were for 6:45, we arrived about 10 minutes early and was accomodated easily as it was not that busy, the gentleman who sat us was kind and courteous, I was able to choose our table, ambiance was nice, dimmed lights, fairly quiet. Almost immediately the waiter(H.R?), which was the same as the last time I was there, was ready to take our order, I was only looking at the wine list. I ordered a bottle of wine, Bordeaux Superieur 55$, which was the best part of the meal. He brought the bottle promptly, and we had to ask for a few more minutes to order, definitely felt rushed. We didnt get any entrees, but did order a 6$ focaccia bread since they dont give any bread anymore, it is not really focaccia bread, but it did taste pretty good, that was the 2nd best part of the meal. My father ordered the lamb chops and I ordered a steak and added tempura shrimp. The lamb chops were just okay, not as good as the older recipe, very little side dish and a whole lot of onions. I ordered my steak, med-well, it came very well done, the first two bites were okay but the rest was not, very tough and dry, I had to soak it in the peppercorn sauce that honestly wasnt good either, salt and pepper were my best friends in this meal. They say its aged in house. Where? The freezer? I did tell the waiter and he did ask if I wanted to send it back, I said no becuase I didnt want to wait longer and not eat with my father, I regret that though. The mash potatoes were very plain, bland and seemed like boxed mashed potatoes, small portion, as were the couple of stringed vegetables. The shrimp were okay, 3 giant shrimp, came with some type of mayo dip, but not even a lemon wedge. The waiter came again to fill our wine once but that was it, he was not very sincere and seemed to only cater to vip clientelle who had his full attention, like last time. Maybe it was because we were casually dressed or spoke mostly english. When it was time to pay, he asked how things were, and I told him I didnt enjoy my meal, in which he replied that he asked me if I wanted to return the steak, and I said yes but it is also to him to bring it to the attention to his boss and that he could have compted the shrimp or bread at least, he cut me off in a rude manner saying he would rather I eat well but if I wanted him to then he will, and left before I could say anything, returning a minute later and saying there you go, I removed the shrimp, in a belittling manner. The bill was 188$, I tipped him 15% which I honestly only did because he took the 19$ shrimp off. As I felt, I wish I would have gave him nothing. He apologized for the steak, but I did not even acknowledge him. It is a matter of principle and good service etiquette, he could have been more corteous about it or even told the staff, they could have offered a dessert or even a coffee beforehand. These meals may have not been the chefs specialty but I was really disappointed with my overall experience, I think I could have made it better myself at home. There are many great restaurants in Montreal and I will 100% not be returning to this one, I expect more from the casino. If you like ambiance and nicely presented, small portions of overpriced, mediocre food, then go to Le Montreal. Save your money and put it on 17 black, better chance you will leave the casino satisfied!

Beautiful atmosphere to celebrate the holiday season with our business group. I arrived without expectations, and I was so satisfied! First, a 3-course table dhôte for $65, its one of Montreals best-kept secrets! The choice is impressive and truly delicious. Being a gourmet chef at home myself, the taste, presence and quality of the dishes completely won me over. I had the lamb carpaccio, pork cheeks and chocolate royale! Perfect! Dont forget to order the cooked-to-order foccacia to accompany the meal! The excellent service topped off the beautiful evening! We were even able to digest it all in Arcade by Moment Factory!

The buffet is sensational.

Black cod special was meh, sad soggy fish skin. The sweetbreads special was uninspired, limp and unseasoned. The crème brûlée was vanilla alright but a giant clump of beans in the centre made it bitter and inedible. The cassis royale was sour and acrid, save for the marshmallow cloud with gold flakes which was marvelous. The Chablis half-bottle was good-awful. The sommelier should be fired, The shrimp tempura was great and came with a spicy rémoulade, much improved from the former mango sauce. The oysters from New Bruinswick were saline and mineral, super fresh. The octopus appetizer was divine with super tender tentacles and yummy white beans. The champagne was reasonable, semi-dry, perfect. Would I call home? Probably not. At least the service was good. Chef needs to get his house in order.

The food was great. It was a set menu. I got cream of carrot, duck leg and chocolate mouse cake. Everything was great. My fav was the duck leg. The service was very slow tho. The whole dinner took us 3.5 hours...

We tried to book for a birthday party for 6 people, it didnt work online. On the phone we were called back the next day to say they couldnt take a reservation of 6. So we went back to the site to make a reservation of 4 and 2 for 7:45pm that Saturday. We showed up at 7 p.m. at the restaurant to ask that the table of 4 and the table of 2 be together. When we returned at 7:45 p.m., we had to wait in a standing line until 8 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. for the other table, only to be told that it was impossible to have two tables next to each other. Even though throughout the evening it would have been easy to accommodate us (tables became available) at no time were we able to share the birthday meal with our friends. Too bad, because for the rest, the food was very good and the service provided by our server was good. On the other hand, last time we went there with friends (it was their first visit).

First, what I liked: The service is excellent. In addition, the two people who took care of us were really friendly and professional. Truly remarkable! The atmosphere is good and dynamic. I had tickets for a show at the Casino. So, it s very practical to start with a dinner at the restaurant in the same place. What I didnt like: You have to be careful with the tasting menu because several menu items are $$$ options. Even bread is optional and you have to pay $6 for a loaf. The food is good nothing more and the portions are really very small. Conclusion : Very expensive and overpriced. You can have a better quality and less expensive meal downtown. I have the impression that we are simply paying for the convenience of eating there but without any added value. So, I do not recommend this restaurant.

No atmosphere in the casino, no music, some very dark areas. Fortunately I wasnt there to play but for a show which was good and the performance hall is good.

Good meal, nothing more. Quite expensive for what is served. We ordered the tempura shrimp and smoked salmon as starters. The shrimp was very good, but the fried topping in addition to the shrimp unbalanced the dish. The salmon starter was beautiful and palatable, but very simple. We had the signature dish of beef ribeye. The cooking was perfect, but the accompaniments left something to be desired considering the price of $79 per plate. The vegetables were grossly overcooked and lacked seasoning. The mashed potatoes were good, they tasted like butter. The mashed fingerling potatoes were extremely oily and greasy. For dessert we had the crème brûlée which was excellent! In summary, it was good, but you will not have an experience worthy of the price paid. $362 for two people (a bottle of wine at $52 included in the price).

At $500 a bill....no more rolls as you want...steak for $80 full of nerve and fat...side dish barely 3 bites...in short, very disappointed this was one of my favorite restaurants before tonight. ..service a2...usually its a1 I understand that its a Saturday evening with lots of people also my brief at the price paid. My source inside confirms several thousand try to book every week but are turned down on phone- NO online booking.

the seafood platter to share was good, courteous service, reasonable prices for the place. A downside on the acoustics of the room, it is very noisy, they would benefit from investing in a sound absorption solution. An effect exacerbated by the proximity of the tables, you have the impression of sharing your meal with strangers at the next table. An acoustic panel here would reduce the echo and a few fewer tables would help create a more pleasant atmosphere.

Unfortunately he has lost a lot over the past 2 years. Ridiculously small portions and big lack of flavor. A starter to share at $50 contained 3 breaded shrimp, two mini tartars as big as A tablespoon and two bites of salmon... its really a laugh. It feels like a tapas restaurant. The scallop plate, which is $49, contains only 7 scallops with mash. I was clearly left hungry. The service was not bad but lacking due to a serious lack of staff.

Great warm atmosphere. Our hostess Nathalie was more than kind to us. The food: I ordered ribs. The portion was awesome and the cut of meat was good quality. However, the meat is not seasoned and it was very dry. I barely ate... This aspect really disappointed me. When I got home, I had to put my spices in it and boil it to soften everything. Furthermore, the Caesar salad was good, the home fries were perfect and the dessert delicious.

I advise you to book. Long queue for the buffet your reservation at Restaurant Montréal will allow you to quickly cross the queue. 5 p.m. quiet but around 6:30 p.m. it s full during the week. Menu experience always interesting and careful presentation of dishes. Good courteous service.

When booking, we requested a table near the window and specified that it was a first visit for our anniversary celebration. At reception, they wish us happy birthday, we are seated near a window and they tell us that they hope to have a nice evening for our first visit!!! Gérald, our server, gave us wonderful advice and his service was perfect. We took the experience menu for $55. Including a starter (my choice, asparagus soup with crab garnish), the main meal (peking duck leg with coconut beans and vegetables) and a dessert (hazelnut praline cake). We enjoyed ourselves. A good meal and good service. The atmosphere is pleasant. It was a lovely romantic outing. Thank you to the entire team of the Montreal restaurant at the Casino.

Hello, we returned this Friday, June 10 after several months. Reservation taken at 8:15 p.m., no consideration for customers, you queue up and thats it. After reserving an oval table we are placed behind a pillar and against a wall at an ordinary table. An oval table is release it we are told it is for 4 5 minutes after the server installed 2 people unacceptable. A waiter comes to take our order and we tell him of our dissatisfaction. The waiter returned with the manager Mr Hugo who took care of us and was very professional even confirming our reservation. Afterwards everything went well, service and food perfect! The manager even offered us a digestive. Far from the restaurant, the menu and the menu before covid but correct. We were surprised the buffets are open, a plus. Good experience for all. Wow! What an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the crème brûlée was mouthwatering. Would recommend Jean as your server as he was attentive and very kind!

My wife and I went and got a table, got a glass of water and other customers arrived after us, waited about 15 minutes and no one came to serve, we left.

Great place with good food. The beef carpaccio was excellent, even my boyfriend who is not a fan of carpaccio loves it. The miso cod was also very good. It was melting in my mouth! Minus one star for the bread. It s like the airplane bread with the plastic butter.

The location is beautiful and waiters are professional. To my request they gave us a very nice table. However, we were disappointed about the food which did not taste much. Is it intentional to fit the much older clientele? Also we went a Friday night and the waiting time to receive our food was very long. Expensive, tasteless but nice view of Montreal.

The restaurant hasnt changed, the crowd, mostly Asians when I attended. The vibe is loud talking chinese under the influence. As for the food, the bread is worthless, the Cesar Salad has no taste but the main (veal chop) was delicious. The dessert, what I thought was a black forest cake turned out to be a horror story, I wish I had known what a pavlova was. Anyways the lovely waitress switched it at no charge. This is one of the reasons that this 3 star is getting a 4 star now. The Chinese are now singing happy birthday for the 7th time. The old man is obviously loaded. Hes sitting with 5 girls that dont add up to his age. Until next time

I had a beef tartar and scallops, my husband had jumbo shrimps and filet mignon, glass of Cabernet and glass of Cava = $220. Really disappointed with scallops. First off all the size - I expected them much bigger for $45, and they were overcooked. The rest of the food was regular, nothing special. My opinion - this restaurant is overpriced, but if you are at casino on Wednesday, you have no choice . Parking: A lot of space and free

I had a great meal, along with everyone at our table (6 ppl). Scallops were well cooked and overall we all had a great experience. Drinks are disappointing if you are looking for bar quality.

Nice buffet with pleanty of options. Ribs are top notch and the roasted potatoes are great! Vegetarian options: Good variety of salads and at least 1 vegan dessert option.

The Sunday morning brunch with its double option of the traditional counter with the buffet restaurant and the excellent service of the staff on site are truly perfect. On the other hand, the telephone service to accommodate reservations is terrible: I spoke with 3 different people in 2 days who assured me that it was impossible to reach 2 reservations of 4 people at a single table because there was no There was never room for 8 people, so 4 people finally canceled, and once there we noticed 2 tables of 8, one of which was never occupied, and even a table where there were... 10 people!

Really not good. Extremely expensive for what it is. Seafood plate not to take 3 shrimp 1 omar not fresh on a nest of inedible mussels. Instead, go to the fast food restaurant nearby and get the General Tao poutine for $12. Much more good and affordable.

Very disappointing experience for the price. A bill that amounts to $260 (For 3 people) and none of the services that we appreciated. The bread served cold and dry. The two lobster roll starters, the bread was wet and poorly toasted, invaded by butter. The smoked salmon starter was just beautiful to the eyes. Both main veal meals were served cold and lacked taste. The gnocchi was dry, I had to ask the waiter for a sauce and the dishes lacked flavor. The plate of giant shrimp arrived cold and the rice that accompanied it was poor. The tiramisu dessert was presented in an original way but the cake was hard. Restaurant to avoid, tastes are not sought after. I expected much better for the great restaurant at the Montreal casino. Im not ready to go back and I dont recommend it.

The food is excellent but the prices are very high (around $100 per person for starter, main course, wine by the glass, taxes and tip). The place is noisy and our server seemed a little overwhelmed by the new technology on his ordering tablet. Nice though. And the portions are very generous. But if you dont like crowds, once a year is enough.

Absolutely delicious... Mr. J-P was our host for the evening. Courteous and very professional service. Braised beef cheek and its sublime presentation. Succulent ribs not too sweet, the taste in the mouth well nuanced and balanced. Onion soup and its accompaniment mark the start of a very hearty meal. The shrimp tempura was very crispy and accompanied by a sea buckthorn sauce... We ate and savored like Châtelains. We cant forget the desserts Le Montréal chocolaté and the lemon meringue tart with olive oil! Beautiful finale for this symphony of Happiness! A big THANK YOU

Simply excellent. We had a very nice table with a nice view, our waiter Sylvain was really helpful and friendly service was as good as it gets Food was excellent. I took rue lamb chops (cooked to perfection) and my husband took the beef tartare. Both were excellent choices. We really enjoyed our time here. À refaire et très recommandé.

Me and my partner are steakhouse fans but this one, 2 bad experiences in a row. We went on February 3, my partner received fries instead of baked potatoes and I got the wrong cooking, very rare instead of medium, my plate was turned over. My partner has almost finished his meal when he receives his potato and I receive my plate! What can we say about the dry and hard bread, the almost frozen butter, impossible to spread. The waitress never apologized!! While having a drink on the 1st floor, we discuss our bad experience with the bartender who advises us to talk to the supervisor (a certain Sammy). This one comes to see us and tells us that for the cooking it is exceptional and that the bread and butter they have no choice in serving it like that! (Oh good?) and that the next time we go there, if there is anything to let him know. Okay. We are going back on February 14th and ordering the exact same meals. After waiting 50 minutes for the plates (yes 50 minutes!) we received two steaks with poor cooking, my partner had asked for rare, he received medium, I had asked for medium and received almost well done. Completely cold baked potato in the center!!! But this time the bread was hot and the butter ok haha... We asked to see Sammy, we showed him how our steaks and potatoes were cooked, he offered to change them (wait another 50 minutes?? ?) it s 10 p.m.!! No thanks. So the only thing he said was: Im sorry, and he left! For a restaurant of this type and the price of the plates, there is an incredible lack of professionalism. And what about this famous supervisor Sammy who takes people for fools! For us its over and I dont recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The restaurant was lAtelier de Joel Robuchon. This restaurant must have been one of the rare best, mind blowing, exquisite experience. Fantastic food. I had the seven course menu. On plate after the other was a complete experience. The ambiance is very calm, dark, kind of high end japonese restaurant decor. This is not a good idea for people on a budget. Worth the while.

Very good lunch and you will be pleasantly surprised by the varieties of products that will be offered to you. The sweet side is satisfied by a multitude of combinations: pancakes, donuts with croissants and homemade jams. Finally, for carnivores, there are sausages, bacon and eggs cooked however you want them. In addition, if you wish the buffet also offers you dinner with another great restaurant menu, the dishes are delicious and the desserts will complete your meal. Excellent, surpassed my expectations! Entrees and desserts were sublime! Great service as well. Only negative for me since it remains a restaurant in the casino the Keno plays are visible (on screens, on table) which takes away from the ambiance.

I arrived here to have a nice dinner while enjoying my experience at the casino. However, I was set up for an utter disappointment eating here. The food wasn t cooked properly, it was undercooked and the flavor of the food was bland and upsetting. This experience ended up resulting in me having to walk away from the dinner table and choosing an alternative place to eat. I forgot to mention, the service and people there are very rude.

I went with a group of 16 people to have dinner at Resto le Montréal and go dancing to celebrate my birthday!! I really love the atmosphere and the restaurants of the casino!

We came here with very high expectations for a great night out but were sorely disappointed. Ordered a $65 aged steak (medium rare) but when I sliced through it, it was more medium-well, very dry and not tender by any length. I gave half the steak to my friend and he too couldn t eat it so we mentioned it to the waiter (D) who brushed it off in a derogatory tone saying this is a 70 day air dried aged steak, it s supposed to be dry and tougher... continue eating to the middle and you ll see for yourself. We ate two more slices and returned the steak as it was truly bad. Never mind the imperfect meat but we both wished that the service could have had been more professional and courteous. Sadly, striking this resto off as a choice for important evenings. The desserts were glorious however and so was the poutine!
