My fav Gyros in town!

My family and I love Marathon Souvlaki! The service is excellent. We recommend the chicken with Marathon Salad! 10/10 .

Food is tasty, with good sized portions. The menu is what you would expect in a souvlaki place. It was jam packed and very loud, but the waiter stopped by regularly and made sure we had what we needed. Would eat here again.

Warm atmosphere and welcome, exquisite meals as well as the service! We loved our hearty meal, I had 2 large sausages with the marathon salad and the fries cut into chips! My father chose the pork skewer and the Greek salad. I recommend this place where only the feta is salty, not the bill! Parking: Well suited for a disabled person, parking in front of the door, no steps, comfortable benches. Ordered 2 mixed plates to take away .. Chicken and pork, dry meat, frozen lunch potato .Greek salad with 3 pieces of cucumber almost no vinaigrette roughly chopped white onion no red onions very little feta cheese no garlic sauce . I had to add mayo with the meat because it was so dry. 1 pita bread cut in half for two plates . $32 total per plate total disappointment I dont understand the review so high for this restaurant????? I dont recommend it!

Can t place a pickup phone order 45 minutes before the posted google closing time because kitchen is closed but you can orde from Uber eats no problem. Update your closing time or give better service

Best Tzatziki ever

Was really disappointed by what I got and the price. Food was cold , rice was undercooked and hard and the fries burnt. The food quality was really under par for the cost. This used to be my favourite place to eat , definitely won t be going back.

Good food and veeery large portions. Special highlight to the greek tzatziki sausage and calamari...,.very tasty! Staff has always been very attentive without being disruptive. It has enough parking space in front of the restaurant and its even close to the metro. With all that, you can expect a bit of a more pricey ticket around $60/person.

I eat Marathons for the past 20 years but recently the food hasnt been impressive. I also eat there about 4 times a month. The fries she never edible recently. Always overlooked or stale really not sure why. Please fix this. The portions are always getting smaller and smaller while prices increase. Why is bread not included anymore? Unless you ask for it? I love Marathons but if this comment isnt taken seriously then I will need to reconsider. Please fix

I come in and the hostess makes me sit on a chair. I ask him if I can sit in an armchair. She tells me it s for couples. I told her Im leaving, she had no expression.

There is a reason why they have been in business so long. The food is delicious and consistent.

The fried calamari plate comed marathon salad and fries, is on the menu for $26.25. If you are looking for a delicious and affordable Greek meal, Marathon Souvlaki is definitely worth considering.

just chose this place because it was nearby my hotel, but i was seated quickly, the food was filling, yummy and reliable and the server was nice!

Food was good but the service was terrible. We had to ask to be served at our table after we were seated, had to go to the front to get service when we got our food, we had to chase to get our bill and no thank yous or smiles throughout.

The portion of chicken was about half and I just ordered Greek salad no bread no potatoes and they were supposed to give me extra salad well I felt like a portion for a young child (HORRIBLE)

I found the chicken very dry(chicken gyro)

This is a cost-effective lunch menu. I highly recommend it. Please note that pre-dinner baguettes are not provided unless requested.

I cant find a more consistent restaurant in Montreal with good quality food, fair prices and good service. I just wish they had a lamb gyro like the one at Village grec

Chicken brochette is really juicy and tasty. Big portion of salad with a generous piece of feta cheese. Highly recommended to have a great family meal with pretty fair cost value rate. Food : 5/5

If you are vegetarian, there is only one vegetarian plate on the menu which is $19, same price as the chicken option, but only tomato and cheap lettuce come with my dish. Please seriously consider to improve your vegetarian menu since if it was not a friend s gathering that I have to come here, I would be stupid to pay $ 19 for a plate of lettuce and rice and a piece of pita bread

Very tasty chicken souvlaki, tender, good portion, perfect fries! Well organized place.

It has been a long time since I ate at marathons. The tzatziki was still amazing! The plates are overloaded, so prepare to bring leftovers home.

Food was not as good as previous times. The pork souvalaki was underwhelming. Perhaps it was a bad day.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat after work with a coworker. Server was rude, she kept coming back to the table and addressing me in French even after I corrected several times. She learned English fast enough as the end of the meal when she got no tip and was rude and condescending towards me about it. I ve always been please with food and service at this location before in the past and I m not sure I will return. Very disappointed. Next time I ll go to Baton Rouge next door.

Im actually apologize. I was too hungry to take a photo, but it was soooo good. The ingredients are fresh and the recipes are both classic and delicious. If you are already a fan of Greek food then youll love it. If you want to explore Greek food, youll still love it. Kid-friendliness: Theres enough on the menu to satisfy picky eaters and the staff can help to cater to their needs as well.

Very lively place, bit crowded too if you like it. Food was absolutely great and the quantity was more than enough for one person. Must visit once if you are in the area.

We have been eating at this restaurant for years. I always have the souvlaki pita plate. The souvlaki, Marathon salad, rice and fries are delicious, especially the rice. I am not normally a big rice eater, but theirs is flavored with something that really makes it taste good. The menu says, for the plates, that you have to choose between rice and fries, but you can ask for half half, and get a bit of both. The servers are always friendly and polite. The prices are very good and very affordable. You definitely get your moneys worth.

I am not Greek but if there was a background people most assume I am, it s Greek. I ve never been to Greece but my love for the cuisine is enough to be incredibly flattered when people think I am from the country. Marathon Souvlaki makes some truly great food. The food, particularly the meats, are cooked to perfection and extremely well-seasoned. The portion sizes are very generous making this a great value for your money meal. The salads are very fresh and equally abundant with huge chunks of feta. The atmosphere is festive and family-oriented, and a great place for repeat and regular visits.

25$ plate of chicken souvlaki but you have to pay to get tzatziki sauce !! Marathon who serves chicken souvlaki without tzatziki sauce . You can do better than that !

The food was delicious , generous portions and the waiter Jhon made us laugh alot . 5 star service . I was not impressed with my Greek salad . I had about 20 big slices of tomatoes, two tiny peices of cucumber , white onion instead of red , ONE olive , couple of red and yellow pepper slice and feta . I know their are many ways to make a Greek salad but the tomatoes to cucumber ratio was waaayyyy off . It was more like a tomatoes salad . My sisters meat was ice cold , hard and dry but they replaced it for her and then she enjoyed it .

The same souvlaki that we find in other places. The best vinaigrette, I usually bring it home when I go to Laval. Difficult to find a place to park at lunchtime. Excellent service, it s very quick at lunchtime!

I had an unexpected extra night in Montreal due to a canceled flight. I ended up at Marathon and was immediately encouraged by how busy it was. I enjoyed the food and found the service excellent, even though they seemed to be rushing around to take care of everyone. Highly recommended if youre in the mood for simple Greek food in the Montreal style. Nothing fancy, but good.

Its a staple spot for Greek food. They make my favourite pork gyro by a landslide. Not very expensive, pretty abundant plates, and all you would expect as standard offerings from any respectable Greek restaurant. Calamari is soft too. My only complaint is they continue the practise of hqving cuatomers pqck their own leftovers. Its not a unique thing to this resto, others do it too. I just dont agree with this school of thought. Besides that, excellent. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kids menu.

Marathon Decarie is the best place to eat for me and my family. We love everything abt that place. Today it was abit special as we had this waiter for the first time John G! He made our evening very special with such a nice sense of humour! The kids absolutely loved him! Good meal but the pita bread less fresh.

This restaurant made me sick after 1 day! I had stomach pains for a whole night. The food is dirty, be careful! Also, I shared my experience on the phone and a lady hung up on me. Unacceptable!
