Food was soo good, never thought Gujrati food can be this good i would love to come here again. If you are planning to visit Montreal and looking for some good, light and fulfilling food this is the place to visit.

We were here in Montreal and on our last day of the trip we came across this restaurant. The food was really very nice plus the service was amazing. It was a Diwali time and we got a complementary dessert from the owner, really loved this gesture. A must visit place here in Montreal

The food was delicious. I had Kadhai paneer with paratha and mango shrikhand. Overall a great experience.

The reviews are so good for the place I had high expectations. But it was a disaster. I never had such oily food in my life. Oil was literally dripping and with the worst quality tissue papers were unable soak any oil.

Woowwww just awesome nothing is there that we dislike. We ordered masala papad, cheese vadapav, dahipuri, kaju lasan, undhiyu, roti, pav bhaji. Amd the food was unbelievable tasty. We came from halifax NS and was only on 2 days trip. We have visited again and again.

Really good, authentic and comforting gujarati food. Rotis were freshly made and soft. Service was very good too. We really enjoyed our dinner. Only disappointment we had was we ordered lachha paratha and we were served frozen paratha. They should either tell during order or mention in the menu, because it was definitely not worth $3. If i would have known, would have rather ordered 2 rotis.

An authentic Gujarati restaurant that serves Hindu vegetarian mainly street food. The vada pao and snacks such as sev Khamani are simply delicious here and worth going back for. The set thali meals however sadly have disappeared and been replaced by spicy Indian style sandwiches with fries. Whilst the food is tasty it is not somewhere you would go for a healthy meal. Potatoes and carbs are a staple in most dishes and the few vegetarian curries on the menu unfortunately swim unnecessarily in oil. The owner is wonderful as are the staff. The ambience is non descript with large posters of icons of Modis new hinduindia such as the half a billion dollar statue of a nationalist. This restaurant has so much potential to be something truly exceptional but will have to up its game drastically. Small details need to be ironed out as do essentials like restroom cleanliness:-(....

Specially, dont miss the samosa here, you will find the taste and quality of samosa even better than what we get in India. Everything was delicious with real Indian flavors! The sev khamani was delicious, vadapav and dabeli were perfectly spiced, and the chhas was so refreshing. Bajri no rotlo with baingan bharta was a great combo, and the dal fry with rice was comforting.

Had lunch with family, the food is yummy, things tasted distinct, interesting vegetarian selection. It s a tiny place and the decorations were cheap but authentic. It made me Google Gujarat. My only issue was that the service was a bit lacklustre; the server was kind but distracted and could ve been a bit more welcoming and they didn t refill water pitcher.

Guided by Google reviews in this establishment which at first glance does not look like much, but we can assure you that it is a delight. Good food and Friendlys taff and mostly importantly good price too. I just have one suggestion. I ordered for a papadi chat and what i got was sev puri with Dahi on top. No doubt it was top notch with taste but papadi chat is made differently. Have a look at the right recipe and change it if possible.

Was worth driving for 40 mins in busy traffic time and area to get there and have good food. Would suggest the ow we to start something close to the Montreal downtown too.
