257 Rue Prince, Montréal, QC H3C 2N4, Canada
Contemporary bistro with industrial-chic decor & a sleek bar serving creative Italian fare & drinks.
This is a revisit to Le Serpent. All the appetisers are delicious, especially sauces for the oysters and also the cooked oysters. Wine are priced reasonably. No corkages allow here is a disappointment. The pastas were not as good as I remembered but still pretty good. Overall very good. Highly recommended
We had a fabulous meal at La Serpent with excellent service. I’ll be honest, I don’t go out for a fancy meal often, but this treat for my husband’s birthday was totally worth it.
An Italian meal that wasn’t spectacular but was delicious. However, dessert was a huge disappointment. My sister and I chose the following dishes: – Parfait au Foie Gras (appetizer) ~ $32 – Octopus (appetizer) ~ $26 – Lobster Risotto (main course) ~ $53 – Magret de Canard (main course) ~ $46 – Tiramisu (dessert) ~ $18 – Strawberry Rhubarbe (dessert) ~ $18 Talking about the food, I especially like the foie gras with the combination of cherries that makes the dish very fresh, but still retains the original flavor of the foie gras with a light, fatty elegance and a smooth texture. However, the Lobster Risotto, although the dish that my sister and I were looking forward to, was a bit bland, the flavor was normal and nothing special. Dessert was a real disappointment. This is the worst tiramisu I have ever eaten, whether it is a mid–range restaurant, dessert shops or Michelin restaurants, all have desserts that are superior to this one. My sister and I were having a very comfortable and enjoyable dinner, but the dessert experience made the meal go down a notch. In terms of space, the restaurant will be a bit difficult to find with a rather dark space. The price does not include 15% VAT and 25% tip. The total bill was nearly $300 for 2 people, not too expensive but still not worthy of the quality that my sister and I expected.
As an Italian, I will give my honest review; this is not an upscale Italian restaurant. Atmosphere: too noisy, tables have no cover, poor Ikea chairs, definitely not a place for a date. The only decent dish was the risotto, amazing taste. The other dishes had many cooking mistakes like chili on the seafood pasta or too much bell peppers on the octopus, the dessert was a tasteless disaster strawberry fronzoli. Total price for a couple with a bottle of Franciacorta 330 CAD. How about hire an Italian chef and have some real traditional Italian options like Ossobuco Risotto?
It was my second time eating here (first time was last year). I came back because my first time was so good. I had lobster risotto both times, and both times it was delicious. Great food and great cocktails. Extensive wine list. Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal! Reservations are recommended. My only wish is if they had more gluten free dessert options.
I tried risotto, it was delicious. I would eat double portion. Baked oysters were ‘today special’ , also delicious. Service is exceptional. Nice atmosphere, garderobe. Prices are in the fancy side too
Beautifully placed in an industrial brick building. I attended a wedding there. I loved the design of the place, mix of industrial and modern style. The service and waiters were amazing, friendly, fast and very accomplished. The chef created a special Vegan 5 course meal. Each meal was meticulously designed and presented, the flavors were explosive and rich, worthy of a Michelin star! Thank you everyone for this wonderful night!
My partner and I went here to celebrate Valentine’s and really enjoyed our night. The service was impeccable and the food was exquisite. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the crudo - we were impressed with how well the flavours fused together! Pasta was also delicious. Not a fan of the maple mignonette but the oysters themselves were great. Overall, a remarkable restaurant. Would recommend!
Plates were very small but the food and wine was good
My ultime favorite restaurant in Montreal. The food, the wine, the cocktails, the service, the mood. I love everything about this place
Went there for an office party. Food was good, overall setup was welcoming.
We had an unforgettable gastronomic experience. We were a group and the restaurant was full so we were skeptical about the service and the freshness of the dishes but thats not knowing this well-established establishment. From quail to oysters, including foie gras and risotto, everything was fresh and succulent. The service was warm and attentive and Claudine gave us perfect food and wine pairing suggestions. In short, a 10 across the board.
Dishes executed to perfection. Beef Tartare is an explosion of flavors. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was excellent and the service was impeccable.
Service was great. Wine was delicious. Ambiance was good. Kitchen - very disappointing. Octupous was charred. Main dishes were cold and lack flavour. At the core, dishes were simple but lacked execution,. Octopus was was charred beyond belief. Mains tasted like spaghetti with soy sauce. Food
The service was amazing . Unfortunately the octopus was over chared which over powered on a $27 dish . We order the spaghetti and the mushroom risotto and it was okay. Fine for the evening but not the highlight of mtl
Delicious pieces of fish!
Very good food Excellent service but extremely noisy atmosphere.
A great dining experience between the food and service. I would highly recommend the venison if it is on offer. The Rococo is one delicious way to end your meal. The dining room is somewhat small and quite ambient so if a neighboring table is loud it affects everyone.
Beautiful atmosphere, contemporary urban hangar decor. Last Saturday, my wife and I were served by Eric around 7 p.m. Enthusiastic to present the menu to us, after the aperitif we opted for a burrata and a tuna tartare with wasabi as a starter; both excellent. We chose to have a glass of Chianti for which Eric even offered us a bottle off the menu. We noted this attention. As a main course, we shared the AAA Angus beef strip fillet with vegetables and mashed potatoes; the most expensive plate on the menu. What a disappointment this piece of meat, full of nerve, difficult to cut and even more difficult to chew. The most disappointing thing is that I positioned certain inedible pieces so that the waiter would ask me if everything was okay, but I suspect that he intentionally avoided the question so as not to cause a stir. Im sure he noticed because his attitude suddenly became nonchalant until the end of the meal. I was left hungry $400 later. Comment to the owner through the reservation site who sent me an evaluation request, but no news. In this price range, service and customer satisfaction are just as important as culinary preparation. I must say that I have seen better.
Creative dishes that tasted incredible
This place is one of those hidden places concept with industrial yet quite nice inside. Excellent service and good.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience accentuated by high-quality dishes and attentive service. For appetizers, we had the special wild mushroom toast, which was simply divine, and the octopus dish which was quite solid. Main course we shared a branzino dish where for me the star of the dish was actually the vegetable medley. Our daughter chose the duck and it was absolutely lovely. Drinks were well made and the tiramisu dessert with an espresso shot on top was mind blowing. Highly recommend this bit out of the way restaurant Kid-friendliness: Limited. Essentially pasta with butter or tomato sauce
An experience that is both simple and delicate. The service is quality as well as the cuisine simple and full of flavors.
What a great discovery!!! Everything is there for a perfect evening: warm welcome, impeccable service (thank you Xavier and Mia), extremely talented chef, refined and refined decor, exquisite food. We let the chef take control of our dishes and everything was absolutely delicious. I recommend without hesitation! Thanks to the whole team!
I took my mother to the serpent for her birthday on August 28. The restaurant reminds me of the cafeteria type! The server was nonchalant and seemed to have fun with all his customers except me and my mother. On the other hand, the food was excellent, that saved everything! Usually when its a guests party he offers dessert or at least wishes the person a happy birthday, the waiter remained silent! I ordered dessert for my mother and me. The food is very good, I can t take it away! Maybe the waiter was tired or had a long day
Amazing food but I mean amazing. Better pasta and tiramisu than I ate in Italy! I recommend strongly the octopus as apetizer, the linguine with speck and the special of the day was beef and it was tender and absolutely delicious! Nice interior design and decor. Love the pub bistro chic vibe. Amazing customer service also. It shows they have the care for their guess to have a good time.
The service is fabulous, I am a big fan of our waitresses. The food is not extraordinary but the attitude of the waitresses makes everything incredible. Thank you so much !
Thanks Julien for your warm welcoming, it was a pleasure to be there with my photobooth for your guests
I had a great evening sitting at the bar with a friend. Philippe took great care of us when we arrived. Livia gave us fabulous service. Great exchanges with the rest of the staff including Claudine and Eric. You always have to sit at the bar! ;) We ate and drank well. Warm and welcoming!
Amazing food, drinks, and service. Truly, nothing to complain about! Everything was perfect ! Good food, good service, excellent drinks.
Magnificent!
Perfect place for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends who love to eat. None of the dishes should disappoint you. The wine selection is important. The price goes with the quality of the dishes served there. The atmosphere is cozy and the decor, which recalls the buildings industrial past, is successful. Parking: There is an underground parking just next to the restaurant. Its the parking lot for 111 Robert Bourassa. Entrance is accessible on Ottawa between Robert Bourassa and Prince on your right. There is an underground parking lot a minutes walk from the Serpent. This is the parking lot of 111 Robert Bourassa. It is accessed via Ottawa Street between Robert Bourassa and Prince.
Tasty dishes from starter to dessert. Both select and casual. Count around $100 per person.
Great food, and excellent service.
Outstanding food & service! Try the lobster risotto + any of their desserts.
Fabulous
Attentive service, wine recommendations much appreciated, thank you for our lovely evening it was A+
Excellent place
Linguini is good, not as good as my friend Vadym does it. Burata is good too. I like burata with Italian bread or focaccia but that s wasn t an option.
Located in an old foundry in a very offbeat location, the atmosphere is quite nice. The service was efficient and attentive. The food was very good...a pasta and a risotto. The only negative was that the menu was very limited. Overall a positive dining experience.
I recently dined at Serpent restaurant and the experience was delicious. The dishes were tasty and well presented. I particularly appreciated it. The staff were welcoming and attentive which made the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant for an excellent dining experience.
Foie torchon was to die. Bucatini was incredible. Linguini was sublime. Modern arehouse interior was dope. Feature wall painting was everything.
Very creative and delicious food. The menu is limited, but every dish is clearly innovative and complex. The dining space is hidden through a few doors and you would not expect a top quality restaurant here. Makes for a very cool dining experience
Kid-friendliness: I had my daughter with me the waitress made her feel so special, provided outside menu pasta for her taste Food
We had an amazing time dining at Le Serpent. We sat at the bar, and our service was amazing.
This is a great Italian restaurant! They don t smother everything in red sauce and garlic here, very authentic. 7 18.
The food was delicious! Especially the burrata and braised lamb pasta. We got seated in the back corner which was nice and relatively quiet. Lovely ambiance and service:) Update: went back again on June 14th and it was just as good, especially the burrata dish, and the chocolate Bailey s dessert. Great service again too
Food is great 5star service Beautiful interior Food : 5/5
exceptional service from Laure who charmed me with her good service and enthusiasm throughout the evening :)
Amazing service, incredible food quality. That flavor balanced to perfection!
visting from out of town for the weekend - locals recommended Le Serpent... more than anything impressed by the food. I Love to see a succinct menu, and each item we ordered was prepared with more care than I expected from the trendy but not imposing room. Strongly recommend.
The best place to dine in MTL hands down. Food, wine, service, environment, crowd - everything is perfection. My second home.
Excellent pasta, our waitress was great, knew the wines offered on the menu very well (her name unfortunately escapes me). Very nice evening, I recommend!
Overrated for the price you pay. A couple we paid $450. And were asked impolitely to leave at the end because of the tips. Food : 3/5
Very good Italian-inspired restaurant. Delicious dishes and good atmosphere.
Everything is simply perfect! Vegetarian options: Several veggie options Parking: Its the city center so you have to search a little Kid-friendliness: Possible for patient and gourmet children Wheelchair accessibility: Yes through the garage
This is an incredible place! The food and staff are top notch. We always enjoy coming here and always look forward to returning. It feels like a hidden gem which I m thrilled to have discovered.
Le Serpent in Montreal presents a pleasant dining space, yet the ambiance falls short of expectations. The cocktail offerings are adequate but not standout. Culinary highlights include a well-prepared octopus appetizer and a decent Angus AAA steak, though the steaks presentation and value might disappoint, particularly with the sauce not served separately. Overall, while the food is good, it may not fully justify the price, especially for the steak.
Very good dish, fantastic dessert. However, cold atmosphere, particular clientele and service not up to the standard of the food.
By far one of the best dining experiences Ive had. The food was excellent, the service attentive, and the atmosphere welcoming. I strongly encourage anyone interested to try this place.
Chef Mike did and always does an excellent job. Thank you Chef.
thanks to the whole team We had a wonderful evening. It was perfect from start to finish. The service as well as the food was just wow.
Excellent Restaurant! My daughters loved it, the service took great care of them. The dishes are tasty and refined. THANKS
Delicious and refined food, impeccable service and a cozy, industrial atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening and recommend this restaurant for food lovers!
Cute little place. Food and service were great.
Good and authentic menu. The service was good.
The food is amazing. Excellent service, I am a person who uses a wheelchair when I arrived at the restaurant I called and they opened the garage which is adapted and I was able to enter. Plus they helped me with my coat. I loved my experience and a big thank you to the Serpent team. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible through the garage, called so that the door can be opened for you
A big thank you to Livia and Claudine for impeccable service! We ll be back very soon for an espresso martini (or two)!
Very unique spot, hide gem at old Montreal. Waiters are very kind and polite. Food tastes fantástique.
Beautiful restaurant, in the heart of Griffintown. On the other hand, the dishes are a little expensive for the quality/quantity. For example, I ordered a pasta dish with confit pork ribs. In fact there were no pieces of meat but only pasta with pork sauce, which was a little disappointing for $36.
Uneven cooking of the octopus. Cold beef on service. Tiramisu with way too much chocolate. The wow effect is all well and good, but I think the taste is more important. Damage.
Grandiose, magnificent table and a very pleasant atmosphere.
Located in some industrial building in an area seemingly with nothing going on is this restaurant. Cool lighting and atmosphere, good service and food came out quickly. Food portions werent huge but rabbit and venison dishes were well presented and tasted very good. Definitely more premium pricing but recommended none the less.
Parking: That was good with great access Kid-friendliness: The kids can play and have a great entertainment Food : 5/5 |
Beautiful space. The team takes great care of its customers. The dishes are refined and of excellent quality. The wine suggestions are always great choices. I recommend.
Excellent food.
We dined at Le Serpent in December and the word that comes to mind is exceptional. The food is creative and tastes great. Atmosphere is also cool, as the restaurant is set in an industrial gallery space. And to top it off, the staff and service were phenomenal - nothing is overlooked ( special thanks Jenna ;) )
The foie gras starter and everything else was excellent!
Romantic dinner on a Saturday evening; We had a great experience! The food is simply incredible We had the Burrata and octopus as a starter as well as the Caramelle and linguine as a main course. The presentation of the 4 dishes was impeccable; delicate, neat, very aesthetic! And what about the flavors?! A faultless one; well balanced, tasty, quite simply little bites of heaven (especially the starters in my opinion). Beautiful wine list too and good classic cocktails, but made with a masterful hand. Friendly and discreet manager, but very present on the floor and ensures the smooth running of the restaurant! We feel that the entire team is dedicated to providing exceptional service. Small downside; We received our starters before finishing our aperitif. In my humble opinion, the starters should arrive after the aperitif, at least thats what I prefer. Also, we had to take the initiative of ordering our bottle of wine from the manager who came by to fill our water glasses rather than from our server who seemed a little overwhelmed; he brought us the dessert menu before we received our main course. He was smiling, friendly and outgoing, I am sure that he will gain confidence and ease with such a great team around him.
Very good
Perfect
We went 6 years ago the first time, and our second visit was just as magnificent. We had the crudo starter followed by the truffle risotto and the duck magret. Everything was perfect and paired with beautiful wines (especially the merlot by the glass, incredible). Service was fantastic, never pretentious, always on point. Many thanks to Le serpent for another memorable night.
Went here as an early valentines day celebration. Its definitely a pricey fine dining experience but its worth it if thats what youre looking for. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable, and the food and drinks were incredible. If youre unsure of what to order, ask your server, Im sure theyll be able to help you out.
Good food in general, especially the pasta dishes and the octopus as a starter. Some gaps in the precision of the ingredients on the menu, for example several dishes contained mushrooms even though this was not indicated. The premises are very pretty and airy.
All in finesse. Excellent service, and impeccable dishes. Let yourself be tempted by the desserts! They are worth the detour.
Restaurant has a modern, industrial vibe. You cant help but be drawn to the bar situated in the center. The design was on point and underrated from the pics on Google so I was pretty impressed when I walked in. The service was great and the food, wow. Every element on the dish was strategically created and thought through, giving it the perfect balance and flavors. The dessert was sooooo good. I finished wanting more. The food pics dont do justice for this place because it tastes so much better than it looks. I dont think Ive given any place 5 stars across the board.
Its a great place for a date night with surprise factor!
Excellent service. The food is very good, but we found the price to be a bit excessive.
Nice selection of wine.
Fantastic service and world-class dishes
Delicious meal and very nice atmosphere
Delicious! Everything was perfect including the service!
Top notch. Attentive knowledgeable staff. Amazing food with every square millimeter prepared to perfection.
The food was amazing. Service was great. The only thing I would say is that the crudo dish was small and average for the price.
We had a great time and Livia did a great job helping us
Great experience!
Noisy and main course like this like that
Nice restaurant! Simple decor! Creative food and tasty drinks! Friendly service! Note: it s better not to bring little kids over. The menu is not kids-friendly and they can t run around.
One of our favorite restaurant. This place has impeccable service and food that is to die for. Their pasta is home made and delivers on its promise of taking your mouth on a journey. The price is a bit higher, but its well warranted by the service and quality of the dishes. Highly recommend.
Excellent experience! Exceptional service and thanks to Claudine for all the recommendations and suggestions! Then nice relaxed atmosphere! We recommend it to you! J.P.
quite a surprise place! A fine dining italien cuisine. Excellent in all ways. The grilled veggies plate is not on the menu, still you can order it.
Wowww!! The food is insane. The service is impeccable. The wine was succulent. I have nothing negative to say!!
The decor is nice. Very good but very expensive for this type of menu. The restaurant is noisy. The sound of chairs on the floor phew!
best italian restaurant in Montreal!
Service was impeccable. Food was delicious!!
The food was excellent, we had a great evening thanks to our waitress Livia!
Good service, staff was friendly and welcoming. Appetizers were scrumptious! Mains were good too, but the lobster risotto was a tad too sweet for a main dish for my liking. Overall good experience!
Excellent restaurant. The food was delicious, very well executed. Their pastas are a must try. Very good service also.
Tasty upscale Italian. Dishes were well executed and portioned. Menu didnt break the mold with its creativity but all courses landed for us. Solid wine list with some rare finds.
It was for my one year anniversary and I had a bad experience with the food. The service was fine but the food was terrible. Braised lamb pasta was undercooked and had no flavour, the lobster risotto was cold and before anyone says we waited, we started eating it right when they brought it because we were so hungry after having the smallest portions from our appetizers. Brought both dishes back after one bite and called it a night. Was very disappointed for our first time and will not be coming back.
Blown away by the food and service. Everything we ordered was delicious but the stand outs were the lobster risotto and bucatini pork. The risotto was flavourful and creamy while the lobster was delightfully bouncy (perfect cook). The bucatini had great al dente texture and the sauce was deep and complex. Service was friendly and courteous. Ex. They offered the couple next to us the option to keep their plates warm while the lady waited for her partner to come back from the washroom. For us, every dish was explained in detail and our dishes/glasses were always cleared when finished. Would come again! Parking: Parking is hard if you want to park on the street (lot of zoning and the paid options were few). However, there is an indoor parking lot on william intersection that on special days is 11$ for full day.
First experience at this restaurant and definitely not the last. Everything was delicious, the service was very attentive. We had a few starters to share and 2 main courses plus 2 desserts and I was really pleasantly surprised.
The food was exquisite! From the appetizers to the amazing desserts! Good wine and treated to grappa to end the meal. A must to experience Food
Excellent food. The chefs special tuna tartare was phenomenal.
My God! This place was so F ing good. The food was just unreal. Everything. The rabbit, the burrata, the pastas, the risotto and the steak. Everything was too notch and I also would add that their espresso martini is amazing. Highly recommend it if you are in Montreal.
Delicious food and impeccable service. The dishes were slightly lukewarm. The comfort of the chairs was ok.
My favourite so far in Montreal !!! You have to try these plates at least one in your lifetime The burrata is so BOMB !!!!!! The paccheri verde is so tasty too. Can t wait to come back again and again . The only non convenient thing I noticed is that there are few options with no pork , which restricts many of peoples choices in my opinion. I would love to see more choices elaborated with no pork . And thank you for the great service .
Superb evening, beautiful place, fast and friendly service. Everything was very good, quantity, seasoning, presentation it was flawless. The cocktails were also very good, the only downside given the price (not far from $20 for the signature cocktails) we would expect a minimum of presentation which was totally absent, its frankly a shame it doesnt do them justice. Prices quite high but good since everything is quality quantity service its correct.
The Crudo sashimi starter was very good, great quality of fish, the seasoning was perhaps a little too strong and should leave more room for the product. On the other hand, big disappointment for the lobster risotto, which was so incredible during our first visit. Bland, poorly cooked rice, poorly controlled texture, little lobster taste overall, the waitress went to see what had happened, and told us that the chef had not tasted it before sending it to the dining room. Unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. Despite the exquisite desserts offered, we will unfortunately not return there again, and I would no longer recommend it. Impossible to risk that it will be just average this time given the price of the restaurant. Very unfortunate.
We visited from Toronto and loved the food here. It s literally 5star chefs kiss food. The service was very good as well. Our server was very nice and she explained all the dishes really well. The chef is very talented. One little thing I wish they had more vegetarian/ seafood options for people who only eat halal. But with that being said we did like these two dishes none the less.
Disappointed! Went there before, food was great. However, this time, everything was bad. Pasta was so salty, after a few bites, couldn t finish it. Too salty. Tiramisu, it s the worst tiramisu I had ever. Coffee taste overwhelming, too liquid, cream taste acid inside. Anyway, nothing is tiramisu. Very different from the other time I had there. Not worth the price.
Really a good address for refined Italian dishes in a modern decor! We recommend!
It was a wonderful shop. There is a wide variety of wines available, and you will be carefully selected according to your taste and meal. I was also able to sample it. The food is also very delicious. The atmosphere of the shop was also very stylish and nice.
Magnificent service. Very kids friendly. We loved our experience with them for a birthday party.
Claudine is :/
Beautiful industrial decor. Excellent service. Great appetizers. Fresh pasta. Nightly specials may be available for mains. Not my favorite tiramisu but the biscuit yogurt cream strawberry dessert was delicious.
Among the best restaurants in Montreal.
An exceptional place. We ate like kings. Perfect service. Creative and passionate chef. Big crush on the burrata and the lobster risotto. An experience to absolutely try.
I had expectations, result of ups and downs Xaviers service leaves something to be desired, no smiles by Olivier account at the presentation of 5-star dishes Badly cooked grilled octopus we could make a quid with the bites considering the seasoning of the dish Tasty lamb paccheri as well as confit pork bucatini Sand, chocolate ice cream, raspberry, very good peanut butter and tiramisu covered with succulent chocolate strips Very, very noisy atmosphere Parking: Interior Easy to access, 5 mi walk $11 for the evening
The restaurant had food that didnt quite match my taste, but the ambiance, despite being noisy, was visually pleasing. The service, on the other hand, was quite impressive.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
Excellent service! What can I say about the food, it was excellent. I had a lobster risotto and my friend had the braised lamb paccheri, DELICIOUS. Will definitely come back!
Superb evening, fast and efficient service. The dishes were excellent, the employees friendly... Nothing to say, I will come back!
First time. I was skeptical at first, the entrance is dodgy and once you walk in, the furnishing is industrial and spartan. Parking isnt easy. Menu is slim and focused. I wasnt happy to see $35 pasta dishes but it was worth every bite. I had the pork flank/nduja dish and every bit was an umami joy. I started with the Serpant Sazerac, great cocktail with freshness and strength. Cant wait to go back and try more.
The food was excellent, a bit small for the price but tasted amazing. The waiter was very cold and snobby (maybe because we are American) Vegetarian options: They only have one vegetarian option
If you are looking for a well-hidden gem in a seemingly abandoned building in Montreal to spend a wonderful evening with your partner or friends, you must go to Le Serpent restaurant. Im a foodie and Im never disappointed. Everything is good. Dare to take their suggestion of the day or go with an indisputable classic: their famous lobster risotto. Little tip: continue the evening by going drinking and dancing at Bord elle which is within walking distance of the restaurant.
The cuisine is delicious and the service impeccable. A culinary experience to try!
Food was good but very small portion and pricy. Service was great. The restaurant was noisy and the music restaurant played was terrible , and some of dishes didn t meet my taste.
Incredible food and staff! Amazing wine
Delicious Food , great service, great staff, I will definitely go back.
For the kitchen: The starters were good. The main dishes: - Lobster risotto: I had seen good reviews on this dish so I wanted to try it. Big disappointment. In itself its not bad but for a dish at this price I would have liked something more spicy. It was bland, which is a shame. - Bucatini ribs of pork: we expected to have a real rib of pork. Its actually more like Bucatini with pork sauce. Although surprised, the dish itself was very good with a very interesting mix of flavors. The desserts were good, especially the chocolate cream shortbread. Service Very good wine advice. Server who initially gave good service. When we told him we were disappointed with the risotto, we felt it was much colder. This is again a shame because this criticism was done politely and was not linked to his service. Atmosphere Industrial style restaurant. Too noisy for my taste.
Scallop and halibut were not fresh. Pasta was good.
Beautiful decor, very chic & luxurious restaurant. The menu had a lot to offer and the food is really spectacular.
Delicious meal, nice atmosphere, great drinks.
What a great restaurant. The food, the service, the ambiance were all top notch. Our server, Laurence, was charming and super professional. All the details were attended to. Fantastic experience.
The food was good and the dessert was to die for.
I had the lobster risotto, big disappointment, a little too acidic, lack of seasoning, you didnt smell the lobster... thats a lot of mistakes on a 45 dollar plate, I even think Ill make it better at home.
Very nice place. Neat cuisine. Definitely worth the detour.
Our overall experience was wonderful minus our steak being below average. Our server was beyond wonderful, attentive and helped us choose entrees and wine parings. The pasta with pork reduction ragu was one of the best pastas we ve ever had. Our steak was below average. Tough, gristly and slightly cold. For $120 we thought it would be perfect. The wine, service, and overall vibe was great! We d definitely return.
Extraordinary ! Everything was impeccable! From the high quality and presentation of the plates, the friendly and attentive service from everyone, the simple and magnificent decor. Very very large choice of wine. WOW so happy to finally be there. This will be my favorite restaurant
Very disappointed with the service. The lamb paccheri dish I chose was extremely salty to the point of being almost cloying, which masked all the flavors of the dish which seemed very well cooked at first glance. I might have thought that it was a mistake for my dish, but my friends also found that their dish was much too salty... A shame, especially considering the prices on the menu and the final bill. The burrata starter was, however, very good.
Fantastic staff, super friendly service. Nice wine list! The pasta is the star
Good vibe and wine list. The food was good but not as good as expected.
Much too expensive for the quality received. The foie gras was very good but 30th a slice is tough. Then the pasta 30th for a poorly balanced dish, the salt is far too present, there were 20 of us and this is the general comment we had on our different dishes. Disappointed.
Insanely delicious! Highly recommend. They had a truffle risotto special that was soo soo good! The cod was so fresh and amazing. You need to eat here!
I liked the atmosphere but I found that for a plate of pasta, it was too expensive. I had the risotto and I was disappointed. $49 but it doesnt taste like much. On the other hand, the rabbit tartlet (starter) was good! The linguine was good too!
