I recently visited Sushi Sama and had an incredible experience! The sushi was absolutely fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight, and it’s clear they use high-quality ingredients in all of their dishes. The service was also top-notch. Lucas, was especially attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was that the staff can communicate in multiple languages, including English, French, Portuguese, and Mandarin – and even a bit of Spanish! This really adds to the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I highly recommend Sushi Sama for anyone looking for delicious sushi and excellent service. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again!
Ordered with Uber eats. I got mango tango sushis x2 that had barely any tuna, no tobiko, mango was hard as a board and tasteless. Very disappointed. Same goes for the sushi dessert : they put some kind of chocolate with the same super hard mango. If you don’t have the ingredients to make the items on your menu, you shouldn’t offer them.

My second time ordering from here. Overall the rolls were good. But last night the salmon sashimi had clearly been frozen recently (it had that slightly icy texture in the middle) and the slices we falling apart. See photo. Also, as someone who used to be a waitress I understand tipping. But I find it unfair to include a 15% tip automatically, with no option to reduce or increase the amount. Generally tipping is for service, and I came to pick it up myself. So no delivery, and no table service. This should be changed.
This is very tasty sushi and excellent service🥰🤗. The owner is very nice and often even gives my daughter small shrimp as a gift. I have been his regular customer for several months now. Be sure to order sushi here!
The best take out sushi in the area. I was ordering a couple of big platters for a 60th birthday party when the owner showed me these beautiful wooden boat displays he could prepare the sushi on for a small additional cost and a refundable deposit. Let me just say that both the sushi and the boat displays were the hit of the party, and I had a lot of good food for people to choose from but everyone asked where the sushi was from because it was so good. The party was on a Wednesday evening but this location is closed Wednesdays but the owner insisted on coming in special to prepare them. I will never buy take out sushi anywhere else. Excellent customer service and quality.

This is the worst sama sushi compared to the others. No taste and poor quality of ingredients. Order placed on 07/29/2024 at 8:30 p.m. 2 crystal and 1 quebec. apart from the mediocre quality, the wasabi is missing as well as the Sushi Ginger and normally I am allowed 3 sauces I only had one. and not to forget there is also a lack of napkins.
Ordered sushi on Uber Eats, rice was overcooked, container was placed vertically in a narrow bag creating a mess. I am a diehard fan of Sushi Sama but I ordered for the first time from this location and it wasnt up to the franchise standard.

This has to be the worst sushi sama in Montreal and possibly the worst sushi in Montreal. Tasteless, bland, rice not fresh and to top it off they were so cheap they didnt even include ginger or wasabi with my order. Avoid this place!!!
Just ordered a salmon poke bowl & I have never been more disappointed. We ordered it with extra salmon & there was very limited salmon. The salmon itself had no taste to it. The lettuce was soggy, almost seems like a few days old. The bowl had no flavour altogether, I even had to add my own flavours when I got home. As a frequent customer at sushi sama, I am very dissatisfied with my order.
Their service is always courteous and kind, they are flexible to accommodate people with certain food restrictions, and more importantly, the food is great!

Ordered delivery and the fish was definitely not fresh today. After spending nearly $100 on 55 pieces I have to say it was incredibly disappointing. The fish had a terrible aftertaste so after checking if anything was salvageable we threw 85% of it out. Go ahead and order but dont say you werent warned. Food

Honestly Im very disappointed with the 80$ sushi I just received. The avocado were hard rock we had to push them out of the rolls because they were inedible . One of the roll that I ordered we honestly thought they made a mistake and sent us a vegetarian roll because we couldnt see the fish. The fish was a tiny slice that was stuck on the inside of the roll and had zero taste. The rolls were all loose and the fried one had a weird oily taste . This is my first time ordering there and I love giving places a chance but this one is honestly off our list forever. We ate what we could and threw the rest in the garbage. I could call and complain but what would that give me? A discount when I no longer want to order from them no thanks lesson learned. The pros are that the website was fun to order from and the delivery was fast but the food on the other hand never again

Unfortunately the sushi was falling apart on us. Like we had to eat it with a spoon. Everything else just tasted very plain like the ingredients has been sitting out for a while :/
The sushi has not taste. The rice was hard and no vinegar taste. I ordered dragon eye and was cold, taste like it was made 3 hours ago. I believe the california roll was prepared in advance due to the avocado and crab stick color that looked not fresh. Anyways not a five star at all. I give one star for the way it is rolled. It was well hold and one star on the cut. I do not recommend people to order there. For 60$, i can get better food.
Seafood slices were paper thin. Sushi rice was sometimes way too sour with vinegar, and sometimes completely lacking vinegar, all in the same batch of food (how??). Funniest thing ever is the cucumber hosomaki, which you would imagine is the cheapest thing to make; they put rice inside the roll to cut down on the cucumber volume! Other branches of Sushi Sama are much better, at the same price. I would not return here.
Absolutely unacceptable! Sushi Sama served me a cucumber roll that was practically a rice ball with a hint of cucumber. I expected better quality and balance in a sushi roll. Avoid this place if youre looking for a satisfying sushi experience

Terrible quality food. Ordered on Uber Eats and the quality is frankly unacceptable. Don t order anything from here. Waste of money.
Ordered a 28 piece combo on a friday evening through Uber eats, half of them were old, the rice was hard, dry and stale. Avocado was brown. The Sushis with the white fish tasted almost rancid. Had a stomach ache/indigestion for 2 days after that. Would not recommend to anyone.
Ordered online at 5:30. By 7:30 no delivery. Noone answered the phone for 45 minutes. Had to go in person to cancel the credit purchase. Meanwhile, after waiting two hours the driver called to ask for the address. If the food is anything like the service, it is best to avoid this place until they figure out what they are doing. Im sorry I couldnt give it zero stars.
I always order from the Cote des Neiges location, and the food is amazing. Ordered from Cote St Luc and the sushi was nasty. Zero taste, salmon smelled and tasted fishy, hard rice, rolls falling apart, tempura was stale, spicy salmon roll lacked spice. Save your money and go elsewhere. Note I did email and send a private message on FB, but nothing was done to try and make up for this mess of a meal.
Ordered sushi for pick up yesterday and was very disappointed ... the tuna tasted like it had fat on it and was not very fresh. There was way too much rice and not enough fish portion in my opinion. This is the second time in a row I m not happy with my order, don t think I will be coming back

I ordered them online on Sushi Sama website! It took me an hour to receive it because my order was omitted but they gave me very delicious free sushi (dragon eyes and desert sushi!)! The food is really good!! It isn t cheap but not too expensive neither and the taste is amazing! I liked all of them I ordered!
The staff there are super nice! They didnt have one of the ingredients I asked for and wrote me a note on my delivery with a 10% off coupon. I normally order from Sushi Sama Monkland (but they are closed on Mondays) and I always order the sashimi platter. Normally when I order from Monkland I get a large assortment (salmon, red tuna, white tuna, unagi, shrimp, white fish, octopus etc.). Unfortunately whenever I take a chance and order it from another Sushi Sama it is usually mainly white fish, shrimp and salmon (I love the salmon but I also like the variety). Also it didnt come with any soy sauce, ginger or wasabi. If I was craving fresh sushi on a Monday night I wouldnt count them out but I wouldnt suggest the assorted plates.

Although CSL branch of the restaurant is recently opened the staff is nice and courteous, and recently today an item I order ran out of stock, and the nice and courteous staff were ready and willing to compensate for the absence of the order handsomely. Because of this it has my five star rating.
My daughter seems to only enjoy eating her sushi from here... the service is pretty good too. The staff is pretty nice too!
Unexpectedly amazing. Cheaper prices than your typical sushi bars, but the quality is amazing, you couldn t tell the difference. Ripe and fresh avocados that weren t overbearing. The best soya sauce I ve tasted. Not too salty and the first time I actually preferred dipping in the soya over the spicy mayo. Definitely my go-to for sushi on the go.
Just like the other reviews say - Quality, consistency and surprisingly just as good as other, more expensive places. Theyre also very friendly and flexible about tweeking your order a bit as long as youre being reasonable.
