It was very good! I still find it a shame that the dishes dont arrive at the same time, which forces us to share. We didnt mind sharing but for 2 people who dont have the same tastes, the meal will be offbeat or cold for one of the two... As a couple or between close friends it works.

A wonderful discovery! The dishes are absolutely delicious and unpretentious. The oyster mushrooms and crudo are to die for! Tapas style formula to share, very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Big shout out to Chanelle for her great, cheerful and adorable service!

The food here was really fresh and delicious! The oysters in particular were a real work of art. The oysters were large in size, not fishy and really delicious. Every dish was exquisitely prepared with delicately nuanced Korean flavours mixed in with a French cooking style. We enjoyed and shared 8 different dishes and 2 desserts. Little gem in St-Henri !!!

Bravo to this little South Korean restaurant! The service was impeccable. The varied and different menu is made up of dishes to share. They all looked as appetizing as each other. My favorite goes to the dumpling which had a really interesting texture (it was cooked perfectly). We also ate the fried oyster mushrooms with aioli, the kimchi Caesar salad, the corn and brioche bread dish and the fried chicken. And my boyfriends favorite is the fried pork loin which is really worth the detour. It was juicy and the homemade panko was delicious. Plus the portion was quite generous. We were disappointed not to have room for dessert because the dishes offered were tempting. We will definitely return!

This is probably my 9th time coming here since the beginning of the year. Food quality has always been consistent, service has been excellent even when it gets too busy with only one server managing things. I only wish that there were more dessert varieties, but everything on the menu has been interesting and delicious.

For a second visit (and last visit) it was unfortunately very disappointing. Not up to what I expected from this establishment and there were 3 of us who had the same consensus. Its a shame.

The service was exceptional the manager Justin is so attentive and respectful and very knowledgeable and the products they carry. Food is great as well savoury and great quality of ingredients z. Thanks!!

Very creative Korean-ish food. Dumplings with soy sauce and truffle oil, kimchi pancake with a baby shrimp salad on top, pleurotte mushrooms crispy fried. I didn t try any if the meat dishes but the tonkasse, duck and fried chicken all disappeared. Staff was incredibly friendly. The music was good (but a little too loud). On a great restaurant street, this was a great find. Vegetarian options: Mushrooms and dumplings 100 percent veggie and delicious

This restaurant is wonderful! I went there twice with my girlfriend and it was unforgettable experiences. The plates are colorful, the ingredients are fresh and well arranged. What can we say about the service which is always discreet but authentic. Our questions were answered well and the dishes were explained to us at each service. The staff always seems cooler than you and I love it! Without farce, the clean and relaxed style of the place makes us feel at home. Big love to the whole team

Delicious ! Its been a long time since Ive eaten such tasty dishes in Montreal. The dumplings are exceptional, the pairings are perfectly mastered, the sauces are all delicious, the meat is tender. Go there with your eyes closed!

Everything was good, especially the Galbi. The meat was tender, juicy and went well with the mushroom sauce. Dishes taken out would have been better if there was less time between each. The quantity for the Galbi could be just a little more since it is a dish to share. The shrimp bao was delicious, the bun was perfect, the fried shrimp pâté which went very well with the lettuce salad sauce. The duck confit was very tender and went very well with the purple rice. I will go back but you have to be prepared to spend $60 taxes and tips included.

We had dinner at 9 TAIL Fox and it was a great experience! The servers check our food allergies at the start of the meal, very appreciated! We took several dishes to share, a pure delirium we took the Dumplings, the fried eggplant, the incredible tomato kimchi Burrata! We also had the lamb meatballs, the chicken a little disappointed by the chicken but nothing too serious, its just our tastes and to finish the Pecan tart with ginger ice cream we enjoyed ourselves! The restaurant is very pretty, very cozy, the music is superb, you feel transported to an evening! We will come back with great pleasure!

We had an absolutely lovely dinner for 5. The place is small so make a reservation! The food - Every dish was thoughtful, tasty and well presented. Our favourites were the duck confit, the cheese corn, the crudo and the shrimp Bao. The favours were rich and balanced. The mix drinks were also very well paired and delicious. The pecan pie was also a favorite at the end. Our server was informative, pleasant and attentive. It s rare I leave a restaurant feeling as though it was worthwhile but this one certainly was! So good we didn t take pictures. Just ate EVERYTHING.

Ive heard about this place when it opened up, but never had a chance to visit this place. Recently, I finally had a chance to visit with a company of 3, and the experience was better than my expectations. We tried most of their dishes on the menu except for 3 items, which we could not order because we could not take any more food!! And I confess everything was so delicious that I ordered more than we could digest. When we got there, it was about 5:30 pm on Thursday evening, and things were getting started. Many patrons started coming in and soon enough, there was no table available. It seemed like most of them were returning customers and I could certainly guess why. I must warn though.. all staffs are so friendly, youll end-up spending more money than planned and get out happy. Crazy.

Wait staff could not have been less accommodating. We had a family dinner with a 5-year old. We asked for plain rice and a fried egg for him, and they refused to make anything off the menu even though they had all the ingredients. They were just purely rude. Kid-friendliness: Not friendly for kids at all (by choice)

Had a chance to sit in terrace on the perfect weather! The food is always amazing. I love how they twist authentic Korean dishes with various interesting flavours! Came here for date night, as I ve been wanting to check it out for a while. I appreciate the plant decor everywhere! Don t love the high seating as it s less comfortable for shorter folks, but overall nice atmosphere. Interesting food items (chicken hearts for ex.) alongside what I consider to be Montreal classics like burrata, salmon tartare and Caesar salad - but with their own spin. The Caesar was veryyy creamy and we didn t notice the kimchi flavour. The dumplings were delicious but the order only comes with 2 (will leave you wanting more). The shrimp toast was also a small portion but very tasty. Finally, we had the snow crab pesto homemade capellini which was very good too. There was a hint of maybe anis or fennel that threw us off at first but we came to appreciate. Be aware that it s not big portions and can add up quickly. Overall nice experience!

For the price, the portions are very small. Food is generally a bit bland or too salty. Its supposed to be a korean fusion restaurant, but all the korean inspired food do not really have any distinct korean flavour. Kimchi seasoning, jjampong, etc. do not taste like how they should. Just a generic asian flavour. Service was decent, but could be better. Pouring water by reaching over the table and blocking the guests instead of pouring from the other side of the table, serving 5 shrimp chips for a table of 3 (like come on, the shrimp chip cost what, 5 cents each?). The atmosphere was okay but they leave the windows open and there are people smoking cigarettes and weeds on the streets and you can smell it all.

Everything was great. The food was very good and fresh, the service was excellent. Our family had a great time. A candle for the wifes bday would have been perfect, but Ill bring one next time!

Excellent small plates meal. The oysters with caviar and Gochujang were excellent. The mushroom dumplings and Galbi were excellent.

Food was delicious. Staff super kind. Our main issue was that one of us got our main meals while I waited over 10+ minutes, maybe 15, to get mine. The portions are small so by the time mine came, the other was long done. We tried to have him wait to eat it but after 10+ minutes it was getting cold. So he ate, finished, then mine came. Other than this great overall, just a bummer about food delivery times. Made the main event odd/bleak

We were a big group and did the fixed menu; the services were all incredible. The first amuse-bouche was a crispy & savory porchini&truffle dumpling which really set the tone for the deliciousness of the following dishes.

Very nice Korean restaurant to bring friends or a date. The food was quite creative with its unique flavours and its presentation. The chefs really know what they re doing. My server was really good, they would check up on us to see if we were good. Nothing excessive, just the right amount of excellent service to not interrupt my date. My date really liked the vibe of the restaurant ! Would definitely go back again and I recommend anyone whether they are a foodie or not, to try out this Montreal gem !

Upscale korean food. Extremely delicious oysters. New takes on korean classics. This place was outstanding the chef and cooks here are doing an absolutely phenomenal job. The service was very good as well I never had an empty glass and everyone was very nice. I definitely want to come back.

We came in a Saturday night without reservation and were seated at a table such a way that my partner s chair was always hit whenever staff passed to serve at other tables. Service was fairly cold, the waitress asked if we wanted the bill almost immediately after we finished our last plate. The food was great but overall for the price we paid i would go elsewhere next time. This was my first time here.

The dishes were absolutely delicious, but its very expensive because the portions are microscopic so you have to order 3-4 dishes *per person* to be full. Its meant to be tapas style, but its full course prices. If you have a small appetite or a big wallet, you will find it there. The service was impeccable. Dietary restrictions: I have food intolerances and they were able to accommodate me. Parking: There is free parking on nearby side streets, but I had to search for a while and then walk.

We had a great meal and the service was attentive. Those + the lively ambience made for a fun evening! ONE CAVEAT: ask for the sommelier if you want a knowledgeable wine recommendation we first went with a white wine recommended by the server that turned out to be orange-coloured (despite not being an orange wine) and undrinkable past a sip or two.

Food was excellent, except for the portion size. We ate well but we left still a bit hungry, and given the prices, we didnt want to order more. But truly, the food is phenomenal. It was just a bummer to be hungry soon after going out for an expensive dinner. Atmosphere was great, but the only thing I would change is getting rid of the stools at the tables. It would have been nice if all the chairs had back support.

update 2023: stop scrolling!! what are you waiting for? go there, you won t regret it. nine tail fox feels like home <3 big 11/10 for pleurotes (fried mushrooms) and the corn on a butter bread. just finger lick deliciousness. top 1 drink is the mocktail ICHIR. Never a let down when we visit them we got the crudo 10/10 light and the little oranges enhances the dish very pleased by this dish lamb 10/10 very soft and juicy, the sauce is flavourful yuringi 10/10 good chicken with the light yet sour sauce sul jjim 8/10 the fries could ve been crispier the dough on the inside wasn t to my liking. the mussels and bouillon was delicious glabi 11/10 best dish so far, the onion just taste like sweet pear?! and the way they seasoned the green was a good combination with the sauce. i recommend, the staff took good care of us! the decor is adorable (it s a mix of western, plants and japanese decor). they offer seasonal menu, we will definitely go back

The food was okay, nothing more. The dumplings and shrimp toast had very little taste (you could only taste the fried food). The fried chicken and cauliflower entree were good but not amazing. The portions were ideal for sharing, but we didnt find the quality of the food worth the price. After 4 plates it was enough and we decided not to order more, being rather disappointed with our dishes. The cocktail (Saigon Mule) was very good though!

I want to give 1 star review for this restaurant because this restaurant shouldn t categorize their foods as tapas. I guess they do that just because the portion is small. It s 9:35pm - Saturday , we 4 went to the restaurant to meet up with 3 friends there. My friends already ordered their dinner there, but because we 4 already had dinner before that elsewhere so we only intend for 1 or 2 appetizers and drinks. When The waitress came to take our orders, she said this is a restaurant, you must order foods. Not just drink! , while my 3 friends there are already eating. We asked can we order 1 or 2 appetizers only ? because we already ate! and her supervisor comes and said : we cant lost a table of 7 for just drinks! so you will need to order entre & drinks or you can go to the other place like bar, maybe. to me , this is a ridiculous for several reasons: 1/ not all 7 of us just sit there for drinks, 3 of us are eating a full meal there. foods are on the table! 2/ it already 10pm at that time, our table is right by the door. the table is clearly empty , restaurant wasnt full at that time. we sit down with planning of consuming drinks and some small foods. but this place should put a big Rule on their entrance or menu or Public ads that you must order minimum $ of food in order to sit down! or No only drinks allowed! - we are sure that night, that supervisor willing to take (an empty table of 2 ) instead of (4 drinks + 2 appetizers). 3/tapas bar is for customers to drink and try variety of appetizers. we went with right intention but well, we had to leave because we didnt order enough foods. btw, we are from Toronto, i guess eating late is not our culture, and since we are just Tourist, im sure they wont care much whether we would revisit again. Anyway, we 4 decided to leave since it s not fun anymore so I dont have any review or recommendation for foods or drinks. My 3 friends still stayed as they already ordered foods.

Finally a restaurant with a decent music volume level! It was very easy to speak even if there was a small background music noise. I loved it! On the food scale, it was AMAZING for everything: - the dumpling was just drooling and tasteful - the pumpkin gnocchi were delicious - the lamb meatballs were simply fantastic Only disappointment were the squid skewer, a bit rubbery. The flavors were amazing, thought! And the cocktail was very good and flavorful: a nice spicy mandarin with tequila cocktail. I highly recommend this place, a nice tapas style restaurant perfect for connecting with your friends And if you ask nicely, it can be possible to order some plates for takeout. Its not the primary type of service, but they can accomodate if you ask politely. Vegetarian options: A couple of veggie options are available

We had reserved this restaurant for dinner. To my great astonishment, we were placed at the bar even though we had reserved a table in advance. This really annoyed me because the waitress could have clarified this to us over the phone. Its the least you can do when you take the trouble to make the reservation, especially since the waitresses came and went behind our backs, it wasnt at all pleasant. Especially when you feel the friction. When you choose carefully and long after a good restaurant in every way to have a good time, this is clearly not the kind of thing you want! In short, the dishes were good, but lacked pep and flavor at certain times. I found the prices really too expensive for what they were. Quantities are very small. You have to order I don t know how many dishes if you want to have the feeling of having eaten at a restaurant. This is clearly not a restaurant where you come out hungry in my opinion. Or, be prepared to spend a lot of money!

The waitress was very insightful and kind. We came to eat before the rush and we were hesitating between 2 cocktails. She gave us 2 small samples so we could choose which one to order. We ordered oysters, crudo, lamb meatballs, duck confit and jjamppong paella... And wow. We were in awe after each dish. Especially the paella.. the harmony of spicy and buttery goodness with seafood.. 20/10

My visit to 9 Tail Fox Restaurant left me quite disappointed. Despite eagerly anticipating the experience after following them on Instagram, the reality fell short. While the dumplings were decent, the excessive use of soy sauce on everything detracted from the overall enjoyment. The sea bass dish was particularly disappointing; not only was the portion size minuscule, but the vegetables were drowned in a salty, bitter sauce that made them nearly inedible. This sentiment was shared among my friends, who also found the dishes overly salty. Hopefully, the restaurant can address these issues to provide a more satisfying dining experience in the future.

Having visited Seoul and Tokyo on a few occasions over the last few years, I enjoyed this small neighborhood restaurant that takes its inspiration from Korea and Japan. A special note for the EXCEPTIONAL service. The waiter contacted us after we left to mention an error on our bill. How many times does this happen? The food is very good, the pricing is fair, the staff is friendly and kind, but I feel there are a few details that still can be improved to make this an exceptional dining experience. First, the music is too loud. It is almost impossible to hear and understand the waiters and have a conversation with someone at the table. Second, the menu is very good, but I feel some plates could be bolder. Our plate of lamb chops with mashed potatoes was well executed and perfectly cooked, but could have been prepared in any of the many French bistros in Montreal. I thought that this dish needed to have a stronger Korean-infused flavour (sauce?) to warrant a special place on the menu. Lastly, I feel that more care and professionalism should be directed at the drink menu. Our kind, attentive, serviable, but mostly overwhelmed waiter (there were a few minor hiccups in the kitchen that slowed the pace of the dinner not a problem at our table), she had difficulty explaining to us some of the items on the drinks menu, their origin (local producer?) and their flavour profile to go with the menu. At a day and age where menus are ever more eclectic and complex, and the flavour profile of natural wines is often impossible to predict, I think that it is the important for the staff to have deeper understanding of what is offered to complement the menu. That being said, we will go back, perhaps on a more quiet evening or earlier on a busy to appreciate the food and the great service.

Food was good. Nothing out of this world. Unfortunately there was only one waitress who had to do it all (bartending, hostessing and serving). I totally understand that they were understaffed and it wasnt anyones fault but the person who didnt show up but we had to wait quite a while before getting served or even being asked what we wanted to drink. We were hoping that the food would make up for the lack of service. Let me say, it was good but not good enough to make me want to go back.

The atmosphere is calm and warm, allowing you to connect with company. Perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic date. Food is more tapas style that pair well with alcohol. Korean flavours and spices are incorporated into the food in a very innovative way. I would recommend taking the oysters, beef tartare and burrata cheese.

Everything was absolutely perfect. We tried at least 7 of the dishes and all of them were so good. The LA Galbi, the octopus, the crudo, the oysters, the tartare, the dumplings and the Menbosha is what we took. We sat at the bar which is right where you can see the cooks do their magic. The service was impeccable! They took attention to detail, and knew their menu throughout. They described each plate and gave us excellent recommendations. Im very much excited to go back to try the other dishes. One of my new favorite spots!

The new cocktails are delicious, especially Spicy Mandarin. We tried 10 dishes, all excellent! Favourites were the burrata, the dumplings, the galbi, the menbosha. We will be back!

My go-to restaurant in Saint-Henri! Been 4 times already and it never disappoints! Very easy to go back to, to try something new as they change up their menu every so often and have weekly specials. The desserts as well are always delicious (wish their banana crumble was a regular dish!!!). For the same level of fine dining, you will pay a lot more in other restaurants! Vraiment un bijou de Saint-Henri!

Omg. A real gem. Tiny but the atmosphere very nice. Great service, the waitress was very kind and also knew what wine goes with what. The food, korean fushion I would say. Loved it very much. My friend and I had their signature dumplings oyster mushroom tempura kimchi fried rice yuringi (fried chicken asian chimichurri) duck confit beef tartar (tastes like korean bulgogi) Definitely have to go back and try other dishes!

Everything was good and tasty. Well presented and all flavours were rich and balanced. One of the best restaurants in Montreal imho. Would definitely come back to try more items on the menus.

The food excellent , great portion, and super delicious . Now the seating arrangement where we were sitting in the Banquet corner on a semi-circle wood bench ( looks great) but so uncomfortable unfortunately. Otherwise the service , restaurant ambiance and food well worth it.

Food was really good. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience after eating the dessert. My friend is allergic to nuts, which she clearly stated at numerous instances to the team, and she asked if there was any dessert with no nuts and peanuts. The waitress asked the kitchen and came back recommending the dessert of the day (pear cheesecake) informing us that there was no traces of any nuts. After we left the restaurant, my friend ended up feeling symptomatic (itching in the throat, trouble breathing, and hyperventilating) and rushed to the emergency where we ended up staying for more than 4 hours as she experienced a full allergic reaction. Please be careful if you have an allergy as there may have been cross-contamination.

Went here for my friends birthday, ended at the hospital ER for more than 4hrs because of a mistake that was made on the restaurants part. My friend is allergic to some types of nuts and extremely allergic to peanuts. So she repeatedly double-checked with the waitress about traces of nuts, especially when asking if there was any in the desserts. The waitress went to ask the kitchen and came back saying that only the pear cheesecake did not contain traces of nuts/peanuts. So my friend had the cake and as we left, she experienced a severe allergy attack which escalated really fast. We acted on the belief that it was due to a possible cross-contamination of nuts. After the events, my friend left a review. The head chef contacted us after reading it, admitting that they were in the wrong and stated that there was in fact peanuts in the dessert that was served to us. He offered us a free dinner to make up for this, but my friend was too traumatized to trust this place again. We asked for refunds which they agreed to give us. The same waitress was the one to welcome us at the door but got someone else to take care of our situation. We were given full refunds. This new person explained to us that someone in the kitchen misinformed the waitress and was not qualified to do so. But this misinformation and negligence to communicate with someone who was qualified was what resulted in my friends allergy attack that could have been fatal and that could have been prevented as my friend was careful on her end. This person also stated that after receiving my friends review, they held a meeting and fired several people, but the waitress who was involved, that served us, misinformed us, was still very much there. This waitress not once came back to apologize to my friend or address the situation. People with peanut allergies are fairly common, and my friend is extra careful about hers. I hope that this helps this restaurant stay aware about the severity of this mistake because my friend almost died last night. And for anyone who is still reading, please be informed on how to use an epipen, you could save someones life.

Wish I can put 0 stars. This weekend I suffered from an allergic reaction due to a negligence from the staff at resto @9tailfox. Ended up at the ER for nearly 4 hours in anaphylactic shock and still recovering. This simple miscommunication and ignorance made by the staff resulted into me fighting for my life. No apology or amount of money can make up for the trauma this one mistake has caused. Peanut/nut allergies are one of the most common allergies. @9tailfox, do better, educate your staff, be transparent to your customers and own up to your mistakes.

Staff is not aware of the food they re serving. They are not careful with people s food allergies. The owners and managers should teach their staff to be more attentive to people needs especially when it comes to food allergies. Very disappointing.

Almost lost a friend due to their negligence with peanut allergies. If they weren t sure whether it had traces or contained any , they should ve informed them instead of confirming that there was none. Even if it was misinformation, a person s life was at stake. The person who represents the restaurant and the first contact with clients, an apology from the waitress who relayed the info is the bare minimum. In what was supposed to be a celebration,I am deeply hurt and shocked, I can t even imagine the trauma, emotional distress and other consequences that the victims are experiencing.There are so many other things to be disappointed within this situation but could not be put into words at the moment. Please learn from this experience and do better.

My friend, being deathly allergic to peanuts, advised the restaurant of her allergy. Unfortunately, due to the restaurant s negligence, her food was contaminated. She suffered a terrible allergic reaction which hospitalized her for hours, fighting for her life. Listen to your customers, educate your staff, and do better.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Flavorful bites. A must try in Montréal. I was really impressed with dinner. We started with their seasonal corn and cuttlefish soup. Then got oysters, duck hearts, steak and potatoes and crudo. Everything was super fresh and beautifully presented. Great staff and vibes.

This review is for the solo diners out there. I decided to have dinner here by myself on a whim; very glad that I did because it was a lovely experience! I sat at the bar, which is arguably the best seat in the house because from there you can watch the chefs prepare one beautiful meal after the other. I particularly appreciated how kind all the staff were with me, making me feel very welcomed and accommodated. I ordered one entrée (dumplings) and one main dish (kalguksu) and they were both delicious and good value for money. Thanks for the great evening, 9 Tail Fox staff!

Nouveau coup de c ur. The moment we walked in I was greeted by my name. Natural wine list, a few open bottles to choose from. Oysters, dumplings, beef tartare were outstanding. Kimchi fried rice and fried chicken were also very satisfying. Food, atmosphere and service has me returning most definitely.

4 of us went on a Saturday night and the food was absolutely amazing. We have been to Joe beef a couple of nights prior, and the food was just as good in my mind for about half the price. The flavours were amazing and the portions were perfect. This is definitely worth five stars. Well done.

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a truly sublime culinary journey at 9 Tail Fox. From start to finish, the dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were lucky to savor a delightful array of seven plates, each a testament to the chefs artistry and the restaurants commitment to excellence. The gastronomic adventure began with the dumplings, showcasing a perfect balance of flavours and textures. The corn dish followed, exuding freshness and a delightful sweetness. The oyster mushrooms stood out with their earthy richness, a true delight for the taste buds. The beef tartare was a symphony of taste, expertly seasoned and prepared. Next up was the fried chicken, achieving that ideal crispy exterior while keeping the meat succulent and tender. The octopus was a true highlight, impeccably cooked and bursting with a sea-kissed taste. To conclude, the banana crumble rounded off the meal with a sweet, comforting note. Each plate displayed an abundance of umami, showcasing the chefs mastery in bringing out the best in every ingredient. The rare feat of a perfect score was well-deserved, and I am eagerly anticipating my return to sample the rest of the enticing menu at 9 Tail Fox. Food was delicious, but in very small quantity. You will need to order at least 4-6 plates for 2 people. Cocktails (Suwon Mule), dumplings, and Kalguksu were especially good. (We did not order kimchi fried rice just because we make them at home, but the dish smelled amazing at the restaurant.) Carpaccio was so-so. Cuisine-wise, it is more western than Korean.

1st times my friend invited me to this restaurant. And wow, all the foods is home made. -tasty dishes -delicious dessert -best service We were so enjoy our meal. Thanks for all chefs your guys working so hard for all this perfect dishes

Delicious food, tasty drinks. In the current market, reasonable prices. The staff are super!!! Everyone from greeter, to servers, to kitchen staff. And the food.... the crudo and cauliflower were outstanding. Raw fish and seafood with aioli and delicate and fragrant herbs and raise each bite to a delicacy. I highly recemmend this place.

We loved our visit to this restaurant. I love the tapas formula which allows us to taste different dishes and share. We opted to be seated at the counter to see the chefs at work in the kitchen. They are very impressive to see and take particular care in the presentation. The dishes are simply magnificent and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the crudo, the oysters and the oyster mushrooms. Everything was fantastic and in our opinion the bill was very reasonable for the quality of the dishes served. Well done!

Best Asian food Ive had in Montreal and that Ive had in a very long time. Every dish was really great and had their own unique take, also really not expensive for the quality youre getting. The atmosphere was really fun and the service was attentive and friendly! Thanks so much for a great date night!

We visited on a Saturday evening with 4 people and ordered a dozen dishes. The food was good (the beef was excellent, the dumplings and the shrimp toast too). The cocktails were OK (nothing more). The service was rather cold. For a Saturday evening, we were surprised that around 10:30 p.m., the restaurant was empty and that the staff was (clearly) waiting for us to leave. In short: I enjoyed my evening overall. But I probably wouldnt go back.

Cute new place in Saint Henri. While the waiter made a mistake in our order we were offered a drink on the house. all the dishes were good and nice portion to share. The oysters were very good and well seasoned. The calamari with sweet potato soup and the dumplings were my favourites !

Im not one to leave negative reviews, but were still talking about how sub-par our experience was, one week later. It felt like the real cooks were on holidays, and as if we landed on rookies... last Friday (early December). We were quite disapointed by the lack of flavor, in what was supposed to have some. And the burnt taste of cauliflower in what should have been one of our favorite dish. This should not have been served as it was, and Im sure that its great when done right...but not this time. The sauces were bland and the drinks were basic. Service was...below standard. Sucks, since we live very close and were hoping to find our new favorite place. Not sure well ever go back. Probably not.

Second visit for me. This time with the whole family. Amazingly 3 generations loved absolutely everything we ordered. And we ordered alot! Excellent cuisine and best of the best when it comes to service. Kid-friendliness: A six year old and an 8 year old were welcomed with all the nonsense they bring along with them. They loved the small portions and the sharing of dishes.

Good was amazing and they went above and beyond to accommodate a food allergy. the special of the day (bone marrow and mushrooms soup) was to die for! The oysters are always delicious as is the fried chicken and fried rice)
