A family-owned restaurant serving authentic Korean cuisine in the heart of NDG.
Delicious Korean cuisine! They have a lot different opinions to try. I had the yeonpotang (octopus soup) and it was delicious. I definitely want to try more dishes. The kimchi pancake was good too but it was huge, I could not finish it! Amazing service and cozy atmosphere. Limited seats though!
Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone :) We ordered the octopus soup and kimchi pancake. The pancake was a bit sweet but not spicy at all - and omg it was a huge portion. So I’d recommend to share it. The soup surprisingly was amazing. It was my first time trying this kind in a Korea restaurant. I thought it might be fishy/strong taste but it turned out so good. The taste was mild and slightly sweet. Overall, everything was fantastic:)
this is my second time to Mukja. we had to go back because surprisingly their food is great, coming from a korean person. usually my husband is picky with korean food since he is from Korea but he keeps telling me to go back because he craves certain dishes that we cannot find in other korean restaurants in Montreal. Obviously we haven’t tasted everything on their menu ( they have quite a huge range of dishes + side dishes are delicious). Also their prices are reasonable. We are willing to go back whenever we can. Driving all the way from The west island is quite worth it. not to mention the waiters are efficient and polite to their customers. thank you for the nice bulgogi and spicy pork dishes!
I love this place! I've been going since they first opened, and although things have changed, it's still just as delicious! Great food, comfortable atmosphere, good price! I waited 1 hour for them to open and I'd do it again ! (They weren't late, i was super early)
most things are pretty good and fresh, service is great, but their soup broths need more depth of flavour (I find them a bit watery) and everything needs to be spicier, the soups are always way less spicy and salty than at other places. last time, my mom got a chicken bibimbap and said the chicken was really chewy and flavorless and the sauce tasted like nothing :(
I think I have a new favourite restaurant. This place was so good. Service was quick, the person who took our order was so nice, the food came super fast, and it all tasted super fresh and delicious. I also really appreciate that they leave a whole jug of water on the table for you. Their prices might be unbeatable for Korean food in Montreal, especially considering the large portion sizes. We didn’t expect to get banchan included with the meal at these prices but we were pleasantly surprised. The soju (flavoured soju too!) is also cheaper than other places I’ve seen, keep in mind though that you can’t get it to go. We kept our orders pretty basic due to not having the biggest appetites at the time, but all of what we got was delicious. I’m especially looking forward to coming here in the winter for some of their soups. The tonkatsu was crispy and juicy, the rice was perfect, and all the sauces were great. I appreciate that it wasn’t super heavy on the sauce (there are two layers of pork in the photo, so it’s an appropriate amount of sauce). The jjajangmyeon was “very delicious, the noodles were so good” according to my partner. He thought the sauce was a thinner than what would be expected for this dish but that’s more a comment, not a complaint by any means. Overall I highly recommend this place.
My favourite restaurant. All dishes are tasty with good prices. I can eat there every day! My favourite dish is black goat stew.
Update 14-Sep-2024 Everything was delicious as per usual. We tried different dishes this time which were the kkanpoongi (sweet and sour fried chicken) and the jaenbang naengmyeon (cold noodle with wasabi-based sauce). The kkanpoongi was so tasty, crispy and the chicken was juicy! The cold noodle dish was so refreshing and I liked the wasabi sauce. It was big enough to feed at minimum 2 people. Will be coming back and ordering these two dishes along with the tangsuyuk and hot stone bibimbap. _____ Update 06-Jul-2024: Service was amazing! Our waiter was so kind and food came out quick. Size large tangsuyuk is HUGE! Bibim naengmyun, tangsuyuk and dolsot bibimbap were my faves. ——————— Found this resto through TikTok and saw that they had just recently renovated from more of a counter spot to a dine in resto. The food was sooooo delicious. We got the special of the week which included a jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk for 19.99!!!! Definitely a bang for your buck. We also ordered the webfoot octopus which was perfectly balanced and not too spicy. Everything tasted amazing, the portions were generous and the value for the food here is unmatched. Will definitely be back!!
Super good Korean food. Good service and good ambient
Its great to stop by when youre craving Korean food. Tofu kimchi and cold noodles are really delicious!!!! The other dishes are above average, but the green onion pancakes are a bit thick~~ haha. Kid-friendliness: There are many foods that children like. There is a baby chair.
The portion is very generous for our price! I was extremely full after my meal and half the appetizer! I strongly recommend the fried chicken gizzard, so crunchy and flavorful! Mukja definitely became one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Montreal!
The place is cute but the food was meh. the tokkboki was plain and the stir fried chicken with vegetables had only carrots and cabbage as vegetables and it was super sweet i really did not like the taste of it. The seafood pancake is soo oily and barely contains any seafood. over all am very disappointed it was way below expectations.
The best Korean restaurant in Montreal, no, the best restaurant in Montreal
Foods are always great! Good price, good staff! My family love to go this korean restaurant. Food
Very good :)
Good comfort Korean meal. On windy and chilly Fall weather, eating a hot soup was ideal and comforting.
Delicious at a good price
Decent food and variety of entrees
Overall the food and price was great. For improvements: The Fried seafood and vegetable pancake was over-fried and it was rock-hard. Another complaint was the amount of spider web on beams and the chair has no cushioning or padding.
That s the small??? Wow, amazing portions, friendly service, bottomless appetizers, stone pots beautiful and cozy.
great service, beef bimbimpon is great and big portions . definitely recommend it &definitely coming back
Good food and service is even better
Very good service and good food. We will return there.
Authentic!
You cant get more authentic Korean food (in Montreal) than this. Cozy little family restaurant. Pure satisfaction.
Very good service! The meal came fast. The waiters are so polite and kind. It s our third time there and we will go again. The food is de-li-cious. Many vegetables, beautiful sauces, well presented. We love the ambiance: it s calm even if there s many clients. The music is just at the right level. The lights are dimmed. Definitely an excellent choice!
My favourite Korean restaurant in Montreal, huge portions and greats selection meals on their menu. Highly recommend their tangsuyuk !!
It was a Korean restaurant in a foreign country, and I was surprised that it was on the menu, so I tried it. Its delicious and plentiful, so it feels like good value for money. In particular, it contains a lot of monkfish and is so soft that it disappears as soon as you put it in your mouth! Overall, it was seasoned well, so it wasnt overpowering, and it felt like home-cooked food, so it was even better. I went there because I wanted to eat Korean food while traveling in Canada for over two weeks, and the side dishes and rice were very delicious. Its the best! The staff were Korean, so it was convenient to be able to order in Korean. In particular, the young man from Busan who served us was so friendly!!! Next time I go to Montreal, I want to try other menu items!
I really liked the jajangmyeon and naengmyeon!
Affordable korean food with generous portions
Recommended, the taste and environment are great! The best choice for Korean food!
I went to the restaurant after seeing good reviews about it. As soon as I got there, the guy who greeted us was very polite and friendly. We got seated quickly and served water as soon as we sat down, which was very appreciated. The same guy came by our table and I asked if he had any recommendations on the menu. The food came so fast and was so delicious. You could tell that love and care was put into making the food. Definitely an excellent choice for a nice traditional Korean cuisine. I really enjoyed my meal, for sure a go again! I went to the restaurant after seeing good reviews about it. As soon as I got there, the guy who checked us in was very polite and friendly. We were seated quickly and were served water as soon as we sat down, which was much appreciated. The same guy came to our table and I asked if he had any recommendations on the menu. The food arrived so quickly and was so delicious. You could tell that love was put into preparing the food. Definitely a great choice for good traditional Korean food. I really enjoyed my meal, I will definitely go back!
friendly and fast service, the food is very affordable and tastes great. would recommend the tteok-kkochi and friend chicken!
The best snack bars in Montreal
Slay
A great find in the NDG area. Its a good restaurant with a nice variety of affordable dishes. The place is a little bit small, but it feels very authentic. Updated: Its been newly renovated with a brand new menu. Its well decorated.
Amazing food with amazing prices! The place is so nice and authentic I loved my lunch. I recommend their noodles.
Incredible food. Great prices. fast service. My new favorite restaurant!!! Food
Great food and wonderful service
Food and service was good
Good food and nice service!
I ve been here many times with my boyfriend over the past year, we both love it. The food is sooo good with a very affordable price. I always get the beef bibimbap and it never disappoints me. Very nice service too! Mukja is our comfort place :)
Everything is so good! We will come back.
I have been here a couple of times during the last year or so and me and my girlfriend absolutely love this place! The food is incredibly good and always has a delicious explosion of flavour. Everything I have gotten is scrumptious and the best part is that they give it in a very generous quantity (at least what I bought) while being extremely affordable. They also give free sides ( me and my girlfriend got 4 free sides meaning for two people). The service is top and I will always keep coming back here! Really a place not to skip.
It was ok but just a bit meh. Nothing we ordered was outstanding and the deep fried chicken and pork was super chewy and not great. Porc bone soup and spicy tofu soup are better at most other places.
Delicious food, great service, very much authentic, huge portions and good quality and very fairly priced, def a favorite now.
Food is bomb, huge portion (especially the japchaes, joogopsoon, and pancakes) for a reasonable price, excellent service. They also have so many korean alcohols and beverages that are hard to find in most other korean restaurants in mtl. They also got bubble tea as well. Definitely recommend their bunsik combo, dakgangjung, bibimbap, tangsuyook, and seafood pancakes. Kids especially love the korean corndogs. They also have exotic foods like soondae, monkfish stew, black goat stew, chicken gizzard and so much more so if you want to try real korean food, this is a place to go. Vegetarian options: Deep fried rice cake, tofu balls, and sweet potato. Tofu Bibimbap is also really nice. Kid-friendliness: Baby chairs, cups and bowls.
Came here last night on a whim and came out mostly satisfied. We ordered the jjajamien, jjampong and pajeon. The jjajamien was one of the best Ive ever had, second only to Bok. Flavors were rich and there was a generous amount of toppings in the noodles. The jjampong was good, but not as flavorful as some other ones available around Montreal. The noodles in both these dishes were great, but the portions were maybe just a little bit too small. The pajeon, on the other hand, was completely the opposite. It was enormous but did not taste good Im my opinion. I no think they put grated yam in there so it tasted slimy to me a bit. I think its ok to put a little, but this had way too much. I didnt like it. Service was good and friendly, we were in and out in about 40 minutes so great for casual dining. Parking was easy to find.
Welcoming atmosphere, the staff are polite and the bulgogi was good I would come again!
This place is a new gem Ive discovered in my area. The service is fast and the food is delicious and inexpensive. I have been here twice and they never cease to amaze me. I am bringing my parents and other friends in the future. The portions are big and you can definitely eat for about 20$ per person with leftovers to spare. Highly recommend trying it out!
Updated: I have to say that I preferred when they were a counter service. The prices are still reasonable, but portions have shrunk considerably. The ingredients in the bibimbap was disappointing. I have yet to try their tripe and seafood dishes. Unpretentious and stellar Korean street food: Kogos, fried battered chicken and tofu in sweet spicy sauce, battered vegetables, stews and noodles. Prices are below market rate (the container of freshly fried tofu was $4.99). Ill definitely be back soon to try their spicy fish dishes. Vegetarian options: Vegan friendly Wheelchair accessibility: One step up.
One of the most affordable and delicious korean food I have ever had in Montreal. A jajamyung is only $10! They also serve great refillable side dishes.
A wide variety of delicious food!
Definitively my favorite Korean place ever! Imo great quantity to price ratio but even better quality, every dish is delectable and clearly homemade, the place is consistently changing to provide even better service! I love all the vegetarian options especially in the side dishes! So many meals I ve never seen or heard of, so I ll definitely need to pass by again. Thanks Daniel for being so attentive and serving us well! Keep up the good work!!!
It is small and cosy restaurant. The price really good for 2 persons. The staff is friendly. The food is amazing. If you are looking for authentic Korean food this is the spot. Also you dont like tolerate spicy be aware because some dishes are spicy
Tried out Mukja! Very tasty and very affordable! There was a bit of a wait to be seated as the restaurant is small but the service was awesome! Food was really good, would definitely go back to try out more of their menu.
Great place with a good selection of dishes. I enjoyed the complementary pickled vegetables they offered. Cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious.
Excellent Koreana food restaurant, good variety of dishes, well made, traditional presentation generous portion, good quality and price .
DELICIOUS!!!!! And such nice people:)
So bomb! Went with Julia 10/10 experience, prices and portions are good too
I order it as delivery. The food was so BAD. Beef intestine and seadfood were not fresh. The meal was tasting SOUR. Very disappointed. Me and my friend had diarrhea after we ate.
One of the best fried chicken ever . Also, the staff is so friendly and kind to us. After all the inflation increasing the food prices in my favourite food spots, this place has still reasonable prices! This will definitely be one of my new go-to.
Very good. Typical. Reasonable price. Varied dishes. I mistakenly thought it was a restaurant-counter because of a photo on Google and I hesitated for a long time before trying. trilingual service. I noticed there were high chairs.
Very unique Korean Blood Sausages Price is reasonable with generous portions But the flavor for me is mediocre Food : 4/5
Dont know if we went on bad day but the fried chicken and tangsuyu were so chewy, we couldnt eat it. Jjajang was tasteless... Sundae was good. This just confirm that on general, quality of food of restaurant is not worth the money anymore... Food
Atmosphere is not really enjoyable, simple place. A lot of food options, not that much options for vegetarians. The food was average but the prices are really good. I have ordered a tteokbokki and fish and seafood stew. Ttekbokki was really delicious. Fish stew I didnt like it to much but it was my mistake it come with big pieces wish bones the broth was lacking flavour and seafood was really chewy. The service was really nice and friendly. Thank you.
Mukja offers an authentic taste of Korea with its diverse menu and flavorful dishes. From classic bibimbap to savory bulgogi, each dish is meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is attentive, making it a delightful dining experience for those craving Korean cuisine. The price is also very reasonable! A must try in NDG !
Amazing food, huge portions, cheap prices and great service. Decor is ok but you pay for the food :) a great find in NDG!
Sooo gooood
Food is great and service is 10/10
Delicious! Nice service + nice price
Easily, eaaasily 1 of the best places in Montreal to have Korean food. The food is amazing there, not only it is affordable, its also delicious. I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to check it out if youre in the area.
This Place is Great!! Its affordable, tasty and the staff are very friendly. Its a great place to try authentic Korean food for half the price from other restaurants, theyre matcha bubble tea is soo good . The portions are huge and you get what you asked for and more. I also love how the side dishes are refillable (no fees) and that the staff always check up on you to see if you need anything else. I recommend to anyone wanting to get delicious food at a great price 11/10!!
They do soups so well here. I have been searching for a hearty Korean beef soup in Montreal for so long and I finally found it here. The side dishes are fresh and offer a contrast of acid, spice, and texture to the richness of the soups. I also had the fried chicken gizzard, fried nicely and the crunch remains even after a night in the fridge. Service is quick and thoughtful!
The food is amazing! Very affordable and the portions are big! The staff is so friendly and nice! The service is very quick! I 100% recommend that place. Everything was so good!!
BIGASS PORTIONS The portions are to share between people, they are BIG Good amount of fish in the soup Food : 4/5
Having lived in South Korea for more than a year, its a restaurant that offers typical dishes that taste like there. Their prices are more than reasonable. For these reasons, I would say that it is among the best Koreans in Montreal.
I went for lunch and had a lovely experience. My waiter Daniel was kind and made me feel at ease, the food was served quickly and everything was delicious. The restaurant was very clean.
I ordered 8 menus and Tangsuyuk was the winner Overall very tasty.. Staff friendly Food : 5/5
Cute, affordable and super delicious korean food spot in NDG
Low-key a hidden jem for Korean food in NDG, big portions of food that were delicious and easily sharable. Super friendly staff and not too expensive.
thank you You are kind. Its the best!!!
One of the most affordable Korean restaurants in Montreal. Their food was fresh and server was very friendly. Tastes are just average but their price is unbeatable. It would be nicer if they opened their restaurant near my place:)
Very friendly staff and great food. Service was fast. Almost too fast but we also came when it was pretty quiet. We had teokbokki, black bean noodles and stir fried beef intestine. The teokbokki was pure fire so fair warning to those expecting a more sweet and spicy style and the cheese did nothing to temper the heat.
This Korean eatery offers a delightful blend of simplicity, affordability, and friendly service. It is focused on providing a convenient and swift dining experience rather than an elaborate fine dining atmosphere. proximity to a Korean grocery store enriches the cultural ambiance. While the Bulgogi didnt quite meet my expectations, the overall dining experience still comfortably earns four stars.
Fast and friendly service. The chef recommendations are phenomenal. Its not spicy enough but maybe because Im just too crazy. It would be good to have the option to make things extra spicy. The small tangsuyuk was actually a normal size. Im not too a big fan of the toebokki, it wasnt spicy and flavourful enough, just lacking that midnight snack super spicy omf. Overall, it was a great experience. Will be coming back to try the other items on the menu. The kids absolutely loved the jajamyeum. Really remind me of the takeouts in Seoul with the yellow radish and its very generous with pork too! Yummmm!! Come try this place but dont come cuz I want to keep it not too crowded. This place is filled with Koreans so you know youre at the right place.
Simple place, but the food is very good. And the prices are reasonable.
Did not disappoint, they offer a variety of affordable and delicious Korean specialties. The fish katsu was our favourite, the atmosphere is very nice and it wasn t very busy for a Saturday afternoon, we didn t have to wait.
As affordable as it gets
Food was insanely good but it was a bit cold inside.
Absolutely great food, good prices as well! The place is a bit small but very good for a quick lunch. One of the best Korean restaurants Ive gone too. Also, they have their grocery store right beside as well!
Legitimately the best korean food in town currently in terms of taste and value - and trust me Ive had a lot of korean in Montreal. Highly recommend.
I must have had an off day because I didn t love what I got (soft tofu stew, house special combo). The fried stuff seems like the thing to get. Super friendly and fast service
absolutely lovely place. spacious warm relaxed servers. we got ddokbokki and soondubu and a japchae. along with the refillable appetizers there were abundent leftovers. it was light, refreshing, and not full of salt. they were closing at 10 but did not rush us in any way. would definetely return when missing good Korean food. excited to try out the more adventurous dishes next time like goat stew and maybe sausage.
Small Korean restaurant in the NDG area. Reasonable price and good portion for food. Many choices of dishes.
I couldnt finish my plate because it wasnt so good. Big pass for me
If youre looking for a traditional Korean restaurant, look no further. Its a small place with only a few tables and chair. The dishes they serve are hard to find in restaurants in Montreal. They have so many traditional dishes like Korean blood sausages, monkfish, small intestines, Tteobokki, bento boxes, fried chicken... Its not the choices that are lacking! The taste is really delicious too. Its not too greasy and the flavors are pretty complex. The portion is generous too. Its almost as if I have gone to Korea! I really recommend it.
Authentic little gem in ndg. Great portions for the price
Lots of choices, quick and good portions. Great to share a few plates with friends. The restaurant feels like its better to pick up and bring home,I.e.: not many tables... but its ok like that.
Great food
Great variety of Korean food, I enjoyed the sundae, the spicy pork with tofu, and the spicy pork soup with liver and ear, delicious! My go-to place !
love this place! Been going there since day 1 they opened. Really good cheap Korean food! Keep it up
Amazing food for amazing prices. Friendly staff
Pork with intense stench , $18 for a bunch of worthless glass noodle , portion of noodle so little you need a microscope to see where it is. I will never eat Korean food again, thank you restaurant Mukja
Amazing food served quick. Always delicious and crazy good prices. Good portions for what you pay for. A must visit
The prices are good and you can get full with a good price. My sister absolutely loves this place. I always enjoy their food. Also a good place to eat with friends
The food is so, so amazing (with great prices) and is truly one of the best places in Montreal for authentic homemade Korean food, a total gem. I believe this is a family-owned, small business and the 2 girls that work at the front are so kind and sweet. They have great hospitality and manners, and are there to help if you have any questions, always with a lovely smile! They both work very hard and so does the woman in the kitchen. This place deserves more recognition and I hope they receive it. The atmosphere isnt like any of those fancy restaurants but it is very homey! I love sitting there with my mom and eating a nice meal with her. I 100% recommend it!
Highly recommend this place! The price is fair, food is delicious and staff are friendly. You can tell it is an authentic Korean restaurant when they sell blood sausages and pollack fish soup! Definitely will come back.
I eat here a couple of times a week. Great food for great price. They make a lot of Korean dishes I ate growing up but cant find anywhere else.
BEST place to go when you have no idea where to eat and the korean food is amazing
Food was amazing and staff is very friendly and helpful!
good food and nice staff
Great food and service
Best bulgogi I ve ever had
This restaurant is a Gem in NDG area. If you are looking for authentic Korean cuisine, look no further. Perfect place for a quick lunch, snack or even dinning with friends and family. Friendly staffs and yummy foods, I highly recommend this place to anybody!!
My partner and I came back after their revamp and the food was amazing as always. Our waitress was very nice and joyful. I recommend this place to anyone who loves tteokbokki and soondae :)
Insanely delicious Korean food! Definitely worth stopping by, plus the service was impeccable! Will definitely be coming back :)
Great cute place to get awesome Korean food. My friends and I really liked the food and the prices were great! Definitely would go back!
Let s eat, it s been renovated~~ Its friendly, the food is delicious, and the price is reasonable. If youre craving Korean food, dont worry, just go to Eatza.. haha
The atmosphere has completely changed... Cozy, comfortable, friendly good service! I highly recommend the snack set!!!
Already the 2nd visit since renovation and does not disappoint!!! Was recently renovated and the atmosphere completely changed! It s a perfect place for a lunch or dinner out with friends and families! You can expect to find some really authentic and quality Korean food (esp the soup and chef s special section) that is difficult to find elsewhere. Service was super efficient and the waitresses are always in a good mood setting such a good vibe for the restaurant. Some personal favourites were tteokkochi, dongtaetang and Joo gop soon!
As a Korean immigrant, I really enjoyed authentic and hearty meals at Mukja. Very delicious and food came out really quick. My heart is full!
Greatest Korean food in town. Hands down best bibimbap!
The food was tasty and delicious. So many variety of plates, and the cost of the food is so affordable. Id totally recommend it!
I really like the galbitang and sweet and sour pork. The quantity is delicious and there is a lot of meat in it.
Came to Montreal for 4 days and came here TWICE because the food was sooo incredibly good. I got short rib soup (galbi tang) both times - their meat portion is sooo generous and there is this deep authentic flavor that is even difficult to find in Toronto! Their Tangsuyuk was also delicious. The only regret was that I didn t get the Large! They renovated recently (don t know how it compares from pre-reno since I ve never been) but the interior is beautiful, clean and Korean authentic but yet modern. Can t wait to go back to Montreal to eat here again!
While visiting Montreal for a while and looking for a Korean restaurant, a friend of mine introduced me to this place with my family. I ordered black goat stew. The taste was clean, suited my taste, and the portions were generous, so I enjoyed it. The service was attentive and the interior of the restaurant was neatly decorated, so my family was satisfied with eating Korean food in Montreal at a reasonable price. When visiting Montreal, I highly recommend having a meal with family or friends whenever you feel like Korean food. Reasonable price. Generous portions, good service, clean restaurant environment....
Just finished eating here with the kids. It was fantastic.
The store is also clean and friendly. Good place to eat Korean food The sweet and sour pork is crispy and delicious. They also refilled the side dishes so I ate my fill ^^
Great authentic Korean food, great value for money! Had tteokochi, naejangtang (intestine soup, rly hard to find elsewhere in mtl) and kimchi stew, all really good. The kimchi stew is decently sour, my wife likes sour soups like tom yum etc and she loved it. Also seems they renovated and feels more resto vibes now. friendly staff!
Great service ! It was my first time eating there and my waiter was super helpful in helping choose a meal . Super tasty and at a great price .
Outstanding food and service. Vegetarian options: Several outstanding options, including bibimbap. Food : 5/5 |
My favorite neighborhood restaurant. Service is always fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious. The japchae is to die for!
Beef intestines very chewy. Noodles is ok for 10.99 not very big size
One of the most authentic Korean restaurant in Montreal with great prices and service.
During a power outage in our area, this little Japanese corner place was open. We were cold and hungry and stopped to eat there. And it was a very pleasant surprise. Spring rolls, fried veggies were hot and crisp and jasmine tea flavorful. Lovely lady serving us efficiently. Will go back there.
Would come back for sure. Excellent service and the food delicious!!
Very authentic delicious place definitely will come again! great taste good price.
Fast, efficient, delicious and affordable!
Good price and very good quality
I love all the food options! Affordable too. I will have to come more often to try the other great korean dishes.
The prices are very affordable and lower compared to its competitors. There are lots of choices in their menu. The portions are generous. Meals were served in reusable plastic containers. I recommend this restaurant if you like korean food.
Must try for authentic Korean food! There are so many options so you get to try a little bit of everything. It s very affordable too and the quality is excellent! You have to try their jjolmyeon too. The flavours are so so good! I ve tried quite a few things and liked them all. Great service too :)
Wowow , blown away by the quality of Korean street food this place has to offer. Not only was it delicious, they also had so many classic street foods that you can hardly find anywhere else in Montreal. Good flavour & good price, I ll be back here countless times.
The food here tastes phenomenal and they always give you that nice, welcoming attitude. The affordability of their pricing will pleasantly surprise you. If you love Asian cuisine or want to give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
Tres bon ! :) good service
Unapologetically AUTHENTIC Korean food. Havent had this level of authentic Korean food anywhere else in Montreal. Great selection, amazing tasty food. Worth at least a visit to experience their authenticity if at all.
Love noodle
its oki for the price
Super range, all fresh and made by friendly folks. #17, 8 are exceptionally nice chicken dishes.
Small Korean takeout counter with a good selection of Korean food and drinks. Food is pretty good and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out if youre in the area.
This place is like the best! Go check it out, and it s not expensive!!!
Ive been using this place since it opened, but recently the smell of old oil started to linger in the store and the overall condition of the food deteriorated. Sundaes condition has been getting worse for some time now, and when I visited a few days ago, a strange smell and unidentifiable mucus was flowing out of Sundaes intestines. I tried not to write a bad review of a Korean restaurant if possible, but it seemed a bit excessive, so I am leaving this after much thought...
This place is my new favourite restaurant in NDG. So good, so affordable, don t pass this place up!
Beef Rib Soup # 58. Damm it was so flavorful and filling. They gave a good amount of beef short ribs. Definitely coming back to try other items.
I had soft ramen, it didnt really taste good?
Delicious! Very good price. You will not be disappointed.
Tasty Taro bubble tea
Delicious korean food for a reasonable price. Portions are good size so don t buy too much unless you want to stuff your face haha! They re closed on Mondays!!
Great food, big menu, friendly staff!
Not only variety kind of the food but also, they have great taste! Also, they are reasonably priced. It s my family s favourite Korean restaurant!
Good and inexpensive. Korean starters. The restaurant does not offer water. Fast service
There isn t much beef intestine in the beef intestine soup, but the taste is okay
A hidden gem! You need to check this place out and try out some of their offerings. Big menu with lots of things to discover. We tried the friend chicken, bibimbap, fried octopus, pork katsu and it was fantastic. Very reasonably priced too! Will stop back again when Im back in the area.
Good little canteen for a quick meal, a large selection of Korean dishes prepared in advance for a party. Inexpensive and still quite good.
Good food, not too expensive, worth it.
Omigod they serve spicy Monkfish (for those of you that ever played Runescape). Naturally I had to try it! :) Verdict: casserole sized portion, they made it mild for me, I dig it!
Incredible Korean restaurant with delicious affordable food. Lots of choice and nice portions. Highly recommend for the most undervalued Korean food in NDG
The food here is quite delicious, worth coming to try. Met a friendly sales lady who was happy with customers and helped when I needed it. The price is also not very expensive (from 6.99 CAD). Beautiful view, slightly classic style, simple decoration but enough to attract eyes :D We hope to come next time to experience other dishes
Simple, delicious and cheap, a must try korean food place
Fantastic food at amazing prices. Quick and friendly service.
Good food and very good prices! So far my favorites include the tuna gimbap and spicy pork with rice.
I love this place because I can eat Korean food.
Id been missing my moms Korean food so we saw Resto Mukja was on Ubereats and wow. From presentation to taste, this place knows how to make delicious Korean food like classic street style. Thank you also for the cute little note on the bag! One of my favorite Korean restaurants in Montreal.
The taste was good and authentic and the service was great. Really good value theyre so modest with the prices and they dont ask for tips which is shocking these days. Ps theres a Korean supermarket across the street for the complete Korean experience
Food poisoned
+Lots of choices of typical Korean food +Very good and tasty food +Located opposite a Japanese/Korean grocery store -The welcome and service could be a little warmer

Taro boba is really good:)
I had #45 blood saucage soup. It was very good. Fresh and spicy. I would have like more exange about the menu but...Mask and language barrier seemed to be too much.
Was good.
My gf and I come here every weekend. Family run, offering super tasty food at a great price. The Spivey tofu is my personal fav. Bring your own Tupperware/containers; they ll put your food in that so you can feel good about saving the environment too ;)
If youre looking for quality cheap eats and just have an overall craving for classic Korean street food, this is THE spot to go to.
Great food, service, and prices! Popped in for lunch and enjoyed the experience of the lunch-counter style menu. Just the perfect thing for a busy day where we wanted to get some nice Korean food but not sit down for a couple of hours.
