Friendly staff and clean environment

I went to lot of boustan restaurants and all I can say is that this one might be the worst one. First of all the potatoes were already old and premade. Usually the potatoes are already hot and fresh but when I went here it was COLD and you could tell it was already premade from a few days ago. The service was also pretty bad. I asked the cashier for other cookies but he didnt let me. He also refused to give me my receipt at first probably for that tax money. But when I asked him, he angrily gave me my receipt. This was a pretty bad chain in general

Edit #2 - Dropped to 1* - quality and consistency is awful. Sent an email to support, no reply. EDIT: Dropped down to 3* - consistency just isnt there. Its really hit or miss on the quality of the meat when you go there. My go-to takeout spot in the neighborhood. Service is usually pretty quick and efficient and the portions are very reasonable for the price. If youre ordering a plate, definitely get the vegetarian plate and add your meat of choice (chicken is usually fresher and better than the beef). You get a nice variety of vegetarian food (omelette, eggplant, falafel, stewed chickpeas) in addition to the rice and potatoes, plus a nice variety of salads.

Order thrown together by somebody who could not possibly be bothered. Comical, wont be ordering again.

Ive ordered online for the past three months. Eveyrtime I use the app and change the preset coleslaw to avocado salad, I get coleslaw. I think they do it on purpose. Cuz, honestly. Who wants coleslaw, theyre just trying to get rid of it, because nobody orders it. If you order from this location, walk in and select, dont order online.

I usually order from Boustan in La Salle, but I mistakenly ordered from here on Doordash, and I was shocked by the experience. They fill the plate with a mountain of potatoes and poorly made salads; it was the worst fattoush I ve ever eaten, and the chicken was dry. My order was completely butchered; I only got chicken instead of the mix I asked for, and they gave me a mix of two salads instead of the extra fattoush. The portion of meat was the smallest I ve ever seen. And no, I didnt get the wrong order because the bill that came with this disgusting food was for my original order. The quality is subpar and definitely not fresh. They Dont follow Boustan franchise guidelines at all. They are thieves.

Ive ordered from Boustan NDG in Montreal a few times now, and I recommend it!!! The food is healthy and excellent, the service at Boustan NDG is incredible! Speed, friendly attitude, the delivery people are always helpful and smiling, which makes us want to recommend it for all these reasons. Owner should take notice why his employees are keep giving bad ratings to Uber eats drivers sometimes I really need money but because of his one employee I couldn t pickup my eats orders i was never disrespectful with employees or never run away or steel uber eats orders because its not my brought up. Yesterday night i was doing uber the same employee was sitting at counter Uber send me a handsome amount of price from the same restaurant but i found that guy i couldn t pick it up because i knew this guy will ruin my ratings. Owner should take notice why the same guy is ruining a driver ratings. I faced deactivation of uber account for almost one month if your presence is not fruitful for other human being u should not become harmful for other people owner should take notice of this person.. i really needed that $$ yesterday night because the business was slow as it was Monday night he is the one who is causing my damage

I love Boustan but this branch is unsanitary from A to Z. The employees have a dangerous lack of knowledge of food safety. 3 days of food poisoning symptoms. My friends have always refused to eat there because the branch screams infested food loud and clear.

I bought on uber the special 2 for one junior sharma plates. They came with 1/2 the chicken portion on each plate so one portion of chicken split between 2 plates. Basically a rice and coleslaw plate with a side of chicken in each. If I was handed this in the store I would have sent it back and demanded my money back.

I will leave a good star review because the food does taste good but man are they cheap with their portions. I ordered a chicken bowl with potatoes I love potatoes and for me to tell the guy take some potatoes out you can imagine how stuffed that bowl would have been of potatoes. I dont know where theyd put the chicken. Thdn the cook who looked more likeca grumpy Oscar from Sesame Street, doesnt cut from the skewer but takes chicken thats been already cut sitting on the stove plate. I cant stand that, that is the worst way to serve it. I get my plate I sit in my car.. Im looking for the chicken..!!! So basically, paid close to $18.00 for maybe 3 oz of chicken with six pounds of potatos and a 7up. Ill stick to my Greek restaurant thank you.

This was my first time ordering from Boustan, and it was very disappointing. While waiting to pick up my order, I noticed the person preparing it wasnt wearing gloves and handled the bread with his bare hands. This was very unappealing.

In this store there is a person who does not know how to deal with people. I do not know how to speak French or English. When I ordered, I said yes shawarma and I said it in French. He said what and started speaking. I told him Arabic. He started to talk to me as if he did not know how to speak. He urged me. The customer behind me said to me, What do you want? I said, Do you want chicken shawarma? The sandwich after that, when the customer spoke to me, he started talking. I said, You are Arab. He said, I am Christian. I told him, But you speak Arabic. Why did you not want to speak in the first place? You are a human being who does not know how to deal with me, and I was upset with you. Anyone who brings customers and deals with a nice manner should bring me. The chicken was dry. This shawarma and the treatment was not good. I like it

Has been a loyal customer for few years now. I have had numerous orders without any problem but I have to leave this review tonight. Its been already three times that Boustan NDG delivered COLD bowls in last two weeks... Both chicken and rice were not even warm but COLD. It is unacceptable that this has happened this many times. It might be time to consider some other options.

Ordered the chicken plate on my way home from Work(usually I order from the verdun location) and the food was terrible, the rice was hard and the chicken(if you d call it that) was little dry pieces. Super disappointed! Food

It was my first and last time in Boustan restaurants. The frises were cold and not fresh. The quantity of meat in sandwich was not enough and they use cabbage for dressing which was hard in sandwich. I prefer Basha or Amir.

The food is great but the cashier is rude. He took his sweet time bagging my food when it was ready to go. When he finally bagged it, he handed the bag to me without saying anything and he gave me a fork for my soup rather than a spoon. Unfortunately, I only realized this after the fact. This will not deter me from returning but I think the cashier needs to be spoken to nonetheless.

Staff look like they dread being there. Theres even a super cool guy who worked at burger blvd next door who now looks depressed. The last time,my wife asked for the door to be closed and the manager shrugged his face and coldly replied dont you have a jacket? Its just a weird atmosphere now... Id give it 1 star if it wasnt for the food But even then nothings great about it except the meat... Potatoes always undercooked... Rice feels like hospital rice.

Front 2 staff were not friendly and put in zero effort to answer my questions. Food looked good but was very bland and meat has very little flavour. Like garlic sauce has very little garlic... its like theyve never heard of herbs, spices, and seasonings. And I asked for a lot of hot sauce and i dont think he enven put any. Its ok food but very poor value... quality and portion size for the price. Very dissapointed. I font thinm they will last long without nicer staff more generous portion sizes and some real flavour.

I just ordered from there and someone messed up my order for the second time. I ordered a brochette while the chicken was there my both plates were missing potatoes and salad. I got only lettuce as salad nothing else. Plus the rice was not fresh at all. I just ate the chicken. I feel so bad I had to pay $40 for this, I couldn t even eat half of it.

Terrible experience and food. I was very sick all day yesterday. Vomiting and stomach ache I almost thought I would have to go to the hospital. Luckily it passed, I had to miss work because of this restaurant. I hope that my message will be taken into consideration and that the health and safety services will visit this restaurant.

I came here back in Feb 22 and they showed me how amazing shawarma should be! Looked for similar experience in the other branches but none are as good as this specific branch. They are not stingy with their toppings or any extra requests, love that about them! Honestly no other location compares to this one. Keep up the great work guys! Will make a trip back from Toronto just for the shawarmas!

Been a loyal Boustan custy for over 25 years (original branch). Not sure the marketing concept of changing the whole menu to bowls etc... Maybe to compete with Osmoss . This branch I never had issues with. Just ordered 2 plates which are called bowls now, no garlic sauce or hummus included. 3/4 of the bowl was rice, really skimpy on the meat, prices increased too, which is understandable across the globe. Flavour was still good but overall highly disappointed in the cheapness as the ratio was never an issue at Boustan. Will question ordering from there in future.

I was not satisfied with my order. I have ordered beef shawarma through Doordash. I paid extra for the saj bread and extra protein. I was deceived to receive a burnt bread. If the manager of this store is checking the reviews, he should train the employees to take customers health and safety at high standard. We all make mistakes sometimes, if you found out that the bread is burnt and unsafe you should get rid of it not feed your customers. I reported it to doordash and they made it right. Come on Boustan!

My fiancé and I went to Boustan in Sherbrooke Street and opposed to other Boustan that we go frequently ( Atwater and Cote Des Naiges), the quality of the food was not as good. We ordered 2 mixed plates, the potatoes were saggy and not fresh and hot, the portion of meat and chicken in the plate was not as big as always, the salad was not fresh and enough. Also, to our experience at other branches( even we went to Boustan outside of Montreal), we normally get garlic sauce and a bit hummus on our plates without asking but in this recent visit we didn t get those without asking which we were given some sauce in a tiny cup for 2 plates. Boustan is one of our favourite and we go there often and to me it s just disappointing that I see the quality of the service and food is not equal in all of the branches. It means that we have to see witch Boustan we go to and that is not convenient for us as a chain restaurant s costumers.
