Amazing food, amazing space great ambiance.

Fantastic!!

Paid for overcooked pasta and non-edible steak 100$ . Do not go here if you want eat good , it s not worth it , guys don t know how to cook medium rare steaks

The food is mediocre at best, and the prices, well to say it s overpriced would be a massive understatement. The service was good and the decor was nice, despite this, I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

We go there to break the routine: the grilled fish, Greek salad, fried squid and grilled vegetables are extraordinary. We appreciate: the warm service and bring your own wine We like less: service in English only. Lemon chicken. Cross contamination causing an allergic reaction despite having confirmed to us that we are taking the necessary precautions.

For our main courses, we had the grilled jumbo shrimp and the rib steak, medium rare. Both choices were on point; excellent, in fact! Our entree green salads were the freshest ever dressed with a light, perfectly balanced vinaigrette. The resto was not crowded during our time there last evening (we booked early for 6 pm). Total experience and ambience were delightful. Our BYOB wines were served expertly and we were made to feel very welcome. This eatery is an NDG treasure! Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning food. From the service to the finest ingredients, I would not have changed anything. Everyone has to try this place at least once. Best food I had in a very long time. Price is also very solid for the amount of food you get very good balance. The Chef & owner has all my compliments. Very clean as well. Cannot find something to criticize.

We finally tried this gem. We were warmly greeted by the owner/chef who kept checking on us to make sure we were satisfied with the food. Our meals were delicious. Best salad Ive ever had in a restaurant. We had the grilled sea bass for two which was served with roasted potatoes and grilled veggies. Wonderful fluffy chocolate cake drizzled with warm chocolate sauce for dessert. We look forward to our next visit.

Food and presentation were not good. Do not order the chocolate cake, its a small piece of microwaved frozen Sarah Lee for a whopping 8$.

Every bite is a wow! I was on the street looking in and the owner opened the door and invited me in. They care about their customers experience. Try it!

Very hospitable but the food was disappointing, especially for the over $220 for 3 incl 2 glasses of wine. The tzatziki and chicken were both very good but the octopus was below par, the Mediterranean salad was chopped and drowning in sickly sweet house dressing, the 17oz rib steak had no bone and half was inedible fat, and the jumbo shrimp were small and chewy. We will definitely not be back.

The service was excellent and staff was friendly. The salad had an excellent homemade dressing. I recommend the chicken masala or Halibut.

The salad and the pasta with homemade sauce were excellent. The chef was very friendly and would speak with customers on every table, we felt very well taken care of!

I visited Tilos on August 25 ( A birthday surprise from my hubby) and I must say I enjoyed every moment of it. This cozy restaurant has left the best of impressions! Hospitable host/chef, and most importantly, the delicious dishes. I love lamb chops and the chef did it just right for me. I would recommend to everyone! I am definitely coming back!

Very good Greek cuisine at reasonable prices (are rare thing these days)

This was my first time and I loved it. The food was delicious and the portions generous. This is a small restaurant and not overwhelming. The waiter was attentive and the owner/chef (Tilo ?) came to see us to make sure we were enjoying the meal. Very friendly and kind! The only thing I would have liked is a bit of background music. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

This is a great local option for a casual dinner out. BYOB keeps it budget friendly. Very good service and the sea bass was delicious as well as the salad that came with the Table d Hôte menu.

We visited Restaurant Tilos today. We wanted to verify by ourselves excellent recommendation of our friends. We were not disappointed. The food was very tasty and the service friendly and prompt. This is a restaurant run by a family, small and unassuming, but with a very good value/price ratio and the chef has cooking skills well above the average.

Food was grandly delicious, I really wanna go back. The chef/owner is a gentle soul, he cares for his customers!

Server made inappropriate comments and insulting jokes. Awkward and uncomfortable dining experience. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Do not recommend, save your money and go spend it at another nearby restaurant.

We have eaten at this delightful restaurant twice in the last 2 weeks. Delicious both times. The Mediterranean Sea Bass was spot on, the house salad light and flavorful, the lentil soup perfection. And the part of it being a BYOB makes it even sweeter.

Excellent fish. I had the Sea Bass. The salad was very good as well. Other guest waited too long for their order of rice, which was to complete their order.

Friendly owner, nice staff, clean, and most importantly great food! (cant go wrong with the bass) The size of the menu was quite impressive!

We both love Tilos, both for its excellent food, and for the warmth and generosity of its owner and chef, Mohammad. We have been going there for many years, and have never been disappointed. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a variety of choices, excellent taste, and excellent service. Parking has never been difficult. Bring your own alcoholic drink (wine or beer). There is wheelchair accessibility. Bathroom are on the same floor as the restaurant, and extremely clean. Nira and Larry

Delicious food and family run.

We went because we couldnt make our original reservation at another restaurant and reviews seemed good but what a big expensive disappointment. No octopus available, meat was undercooked had to sent back for more cooking, sea bass was good but my wifes was overcooked and shrimp side dish was still raw. I dont want to complain just to complain but considering the price we paid and the several errors , I feel I need to write something about our experience.

A wonderful meal with friends. Chef Mohammed served us and made recommendations from the impressive menu. Calamari, cream of mushroom soup, Mediterranean salad, sea bass, swordfish, and AAA rib steak were all on point. Fried ice cream and mint tea topped off a delicious meal. Chef takes pride in his kitchen and clearly cares about his customers. Delightful! Definitely look forward to return visits!

A very respectable BYOB Mediterranean resto with pleasant ambiance and décor. It is owner run, and it shows in all aspects of the hospitality shown toward their customers. Mohammed, the proprietor has a good deal of restaurateur experience, notably at Milos for 10 years before striking off on his own. This 50 seat restaurant has a large menu for its size including a good deal of seafood. This prompted me to ask how he manages his inventory - to which I was told that his supplier comes twice a week, and that he orders only enough for his reservations and anticipated bookings - thus, he says on occasion some items may sell out - but that is a reasonable consequence for having fresh fish and seafood. My wife had swordfish and I had a rib steak. Both were delicious and served hot straight from the kitchen after we had finished our starter house salads and a savoury grilled octopus plate A slice of very light cheesecake and a cup of freshly brewed coffee were a delightful way to finish off the meal. We can very happily recommend a night out at Tilos, located on Somerled - which typically has parking, unlike Monkland...

My wife and I instead of going fishing decided to do it the easy way and headed on over to Restaurant Tilos on Somerled Avenue. Chef Mohammed who formerly cooked at Oreganos Grill on Somerled Ave, Vali Restaurant on Queen Mary Road and Le Petit Pecheur on Décarie Blvd. prepared our scrumptious food. I started out with a delicious lentil soup and my wife ordered a generous garden salad. We both had the Mediterranean Sea Bass, seafood heaven on a plate which was served with fresh steamed veggies and a potato. A piece of chocolate cake and coffee rounded out a great meal. So to conclude, fishing no, Restaurant Tilos yes.

Tilos accepts walk ins as of today - June 22, so we took a terrace table and ordered the grilled sea bass for 2. It melted in our mouths. Great service, great chef, great atmosphere all resulted in a great time. My Romanian friends may remember him from Valis on Queen Mary ...

If you crave a juicy, cooked to perfection steak , this is it, Triple AAA , marinated, grilled. Soooo good, served with fresh grilled veggies...bring a bottle of red and enjoy your evening ! Staff is super friendly

Ordered take out- probably not the best way to experience the place. I quite liked the seabass, while my wife wasnt crazy about her chicken brochette. After tasting it, I agreed - it was too dry and over-marinated (if that is possible). However, the charbroiled vegetables were great and the potatoes were also quite unique - seemed like they were boiled in a marinating broth of sorts- I liked them too (an opinion not shared by everyone). The accompanying salad was fresh with a nice vinaigrette. Overall, quite good. Also BYOB, which helps in cutting into the prices- which seem a little high, but the quality is there.

I had dinner at Tilos last night and it was simply impeccable. Very clean and neat restaurant with a modern look. I had the sea bass dish and every bite was filled with flavour. The staff was very kind and services was fast and well-mannered. Definitely will revisit Tilos again!

I had a impressive experience at Tilos for dinner! My dish was the rib steak (medium rare) which was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy throughout and was very filling. Customer experience was exceptional as my waitress was very diligent in ensuring we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Montreal!
