I love Shawarmaz, it is my favorite place to order, but i was very disappointed tonight when I ordered on uber eats and my shawarma didn’t come with garlic sauce or spicy garlic (as I asked on the order) and the cheese in it was so little not as usual and they charge you $3.99 for the cheese

Visiting Montreal and thought I stop by a shawarma place as I was hearing the hype over Montreal shawarma. Long story short, I was left pretty dissapointed. I got the mixed Saj Shawarma wrap. The bread was pretty tough so it was pretty hard to bite through it and there was a lot of breading too. The meat itself was really dry. The only thing that saved it was the sauces and veggie. For $15, almost double the price of a good Saj wrap in Mississauga, I’m genuinely dissapointed. Service was very friendly and that’s the main reason for keeping at 2* and not 1*. Was very dissapointed in my first Montreal shawarma wrap.
Awesome service, we ordered the mixed meat bowl with a fantastic selection of ingredients and sauces. Everything tasted fresh, would return! The large size was perfect for 2 people, it was quite a lot of food.
Delicious, fast, and affordable Middle Eastern food. I had the falafel wrap with saj here which was crispy and super delicious. They of course have shawarma, pita, and other options like shawarma tacos and sushi as well.
I recently visited this place and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of spices filled the air. I tried the falafel bowl and it was amazing.The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

I come here often and the food is always A1. Would recommend, always comes in handy when studying at UQAM.
I love the Shawarmaz on Ste-Catherine near Peel, but this one is horrible. The food was not fresh and wasnt as tasty. The staff were chatting among each other while I was waiting and even while serving me and I was trying to tell them not to add certain ingredients. Even if youre in the area and cant go to the other one, just find another Lebanese fast food joint around the area.
The idea is nice, the prices are reasonable but its extremely salty, the quality of the meat is average, and my intestines didnt keep it all that long...

We took the sushi plate... what a disaster... cold potatoes and taste nothing (probably due to the super slow service of the employees), broccoli with a dressing that was not good at all, and the apple pomegranate sauce that the employee put on the sushi I have rarely eaten something so disappointing. Also, the chicken is cut in advance and kept in a bowl, so prepare for a very dry chicken. The boustan next to it is good, MUCH better

The meat and fries are very good. They are also open until late, which is a really good point. The service is however very expeditious, we dont give you time to understand how it works and we have the impression that we are disturbing them when we ask them for explanations, which needs to be improved!

Came from Calgary to try this place. Heard good things. Was so mediocre. Poutine tasted bitter near the end. The beef was more crispy than the potatoes??? The gravy was watery and runny. Also service wasn t great either. Cashier was dismissive, acted as if we weren t customers.

Friendly staff and relatively quick service but I didnt enjoy the food as much. Perhaps the shawarma is better but avoid the shawarma poutine, it doesnt work that well together.
Believe me when I say I will never come back here, I really mean it. I ve been to multiple shawarmaz but this one is definitely on top of my blacklist! Ordered a rice beef shawarma plate, to start things off the rice was extremely dry and so was the meat. But that s beside the point, my pita bread had mold on it and you d expect some sort of compensation considering I had literal mold in my mouth but no, all i was offered was another bread. The food quality is horrendous at this franchise, go anywhere else but here! The employees sure felt guilty too
