This place is beautiful, beautifully decorated, and the service is a plus. All of the food that we got was so fresh and so delicious. The chicken is magical, and the French toast was so crispy. The drink pictured Was a little sour, but the mango drink was delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.
Awesome brunch spot. One of the rare that accept reservation so that’s a plus. You get to enjoy a variety of Indian inspired dishes in a cozy vibe. The portions are very generous and the prices totally fair. The service took quite a while (a little over 30 minutes for 2 people). But I would go back for sure.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️India Rosa is hands down my favorite brunch spot in Montreal! My friend and I went for brunch, and every dish was a delight. We had the 📌Chicken Waffles and 📌Butter Chicken Egg Benedicts, both were absolutely delicious, with flavors that are rich, creative, and satisfying. The 📌Mango Lassi was refreshing and paired perfectly with the food, while the 📌Exotic added a sweet, tropical touch. If you are looking for a brunch spot that combines vibrant Indian flavors with brunch classics, India Rosa is highly recommend!
My brunch at India Rosa was simply delightful. Emma, our server, greeted us warmly, setting a positive tone for our meal. We ordered the Lamb Cari Benedict, Butter Chicken Benedict, Chicken & Waffles, and Rosa’s Omelet. Each dish was a masterful blend of flavors. The Lamb Cari Benedict and Butter Chicken Benedict were especially rich and satisfying. The Chicken & Waffles hit the perfect balance of savory and sweet, while Rosa’s Omelet was light and fluffy. The vibrant and inviting ambiance made for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. We left satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommend!
A perfect brunch place in the weekend We had delicious salmon, butter chicken, fried chicken, and biryani rice meals. The mango lase is perfect, not too sweet. Must make a reservation because it is very busy in the weekend. Fast and friendly service
I heard a lot about this restaurant, and I was intrigued by the fusion food for the brunch. This was an exquisite surprise! The balance of Indian spices was perfectly mastered. All the dishes were excellent but my favourite is the butter chicken egg Benedikt! The exotic smoothie was very fresh, which was perfect with the heat. This restaurant is not cheap but the value for money is good. I highly recommend this place especially during the brunch.
Visited for brunch. They offer their dinner menu and brunch menu, which was very convenient. Butter chicken is absolutely phenomenal. I don’t recommend the salmon bagel. The bagel was extremely hard. The butter chicken definitely made up for it. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, it seemed they were understaffed. They had one waiter for the whole restaurant. Although I don’t recommend the bagel or the service, the butter chicken definitely made up for it all.
Surprisingly one of the most delicious Indian fine dining restaurant in the beautiful city of Montreal. Visited this restaurant on a recommendation and turned out to be one of my favourite restaurant (After visiting few times). The restaurant has an amazing ambiance that makes it feel more authentic than anything. The staff is polite and friendly. I like it the most as they’ve accommodated me even at last moment. I’m from Hamilton,ON and never found such food items in GTA or nearby. Definitely a must try. ❤️
Excellent service and atmosphere. I recommend! what bread
A pink chicken, really? If you like medium-cooked or pink chicken, this restaurant could become your new favorite address. But for lovers of poultry cooked to perfection, go your way. When I visited, I was surprised to find that the chicken served was visibly pink inside. When I expressed my doubts to the waitress, her response was disconcerting: Its completely normal, its our cooking method and it also depends on the slaughterhouse.
Thank you to our three great servers for the welcome and excellent service! Emmanuel Dietary restrictions: I am celiac and the team took my allergy into account. And it was delicious!
Everything is excellent, as noted. However, I would have appreciated an atmosphere reminiscent of India (decoration, musical choice, etc.)
A dish with multiple flavors, which takes us on a journey.
Everything was perfect! The food was exquisite, we had Tapas ,so we got to taste a number of different things. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Will definitely go back.
Very expensive for poor quality food the rice and naan bread were not authentic and poorly cooked. Very disappointed..
We really enjoyed our first visit and will be back. All the dishes ordered were delicious and the service attentive. A perfect place to discover new flavors.
Everything is good to ultra good! Modern Indian cuisine just like the atmosphere of this restaurant. We were there for my friends birthday and our major wife because I have difficulty calling her a waitress, was most accommodating, kind and attentive in spoiling us. Thank you Marpessa! Memorable evening. Tasty and exotic cocktails too. Vegetarian options: Multiple choices, hot stuffed mushrooms excellent, cold stuffed chickpea shells very good
Great service from Margaux and Thomas!! Good food too
Really, Im giving it a star because Im angry at those who have a minimum tip on their card machine; 18%.
So delicious! Best Indian restaurant I have been. Expensive but worth it!
Very good service, I was Tuesday December 10, 2024 and I had very good service by Thomas the waiter, very warm and smiling I work in catering and I liked his approach.
Went to eat without any expectations, we have a long experience of Indian cuisine and must tell you that everything was just right and good. The difference was in the level of service (Jalna) because we Luis asked his name made all the difference between a good restaurant and a more than excellent restaurant Thank you for the ultimate good service
Always a fun time India Rosa set! The food is excellent, our waitress was friendly and adorable 10/10
Excellent service and the food was amazing! Definitely will come back
Everything as always was just perfect. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options. Food : 5/5 |
My wife and I had a great evening, the food was great, the service was very good and the ambiance was perfect.
Very good lunches.
Everything is a la carte. Its expensive Parking: Easy but expensive $8.50 for 2 hours
Good but... We have been coming for years but unfortunately the quality of service is decreasing.. We were seated at the bar even though during the entire time we were there a minimum of 4 tables were free. (We asked for a table) Out of stock of all smoothies on a Saturday at 12:30 p.m. On top of that we dont warn you in advance... we let you order to tell you that we dont have a particular cocktail anymore... we order another one and there arent any left either... Service to be reviewed 5 waiters who are bored so laugh and walk in circles at the bar so right next to us.. Average hygiene level, hair down. A waiter literally spent his time running his hands through his hair, pulled up his pants without a belt and even sneezed into his hands without going to wash them? In short, given the quality of the establishment, certain fundamentals may need to be reviewed.
An incredible experience! The food is delicious as usual but special mention to Jeana our waitress who made this evening even more fun. She was just great: super friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. Many thanks, I will definitely come back!
I went to dinner for the first time on Saturday. We loved the atmosphere, the dishes were exquisite (the lamb shank, garlic naan bread and rice) were stunning and the service excellent. The lady at the bar (Jeana) who served us was friendly, polite, articulate and made us divine and beautiful cocktails. The service is personalized, we took great care. I cant wait to go back.
The food is excellent, the service from Gonzalo (Plateau M-R) was up to par and the decor is magnificent! I also tried the one in Griffintown and its the same thing, I will go back there each time I visit MTL.
The food is very good, the atmosphere is good but on the other hand the price is a little expensive $$$
What a great discovery! Its been a long time since I ate in a restaurant where all the flavors are there. I went there on a Tuesday evening and the whole team, waiter and suites, were exceptionally friendly and professional! And what about the decor! Everywhere we look we discover little aesthetic touches. I will go back without hesitation. I have to try their weekend brunch. Well done
Food was amazing and a really great atmosphere.Server was super nice and professional!
This place always delivers the best all the time. It s my 3rd time there and the food and service is better each time. A no brainer for Indian influenced food lovers.
India Rosa was such a delightful surprise! The ambiance was cozy and vibrant, but the real highlight was sitting at the bar and being served by Kevin. He s not just a bartender he s the heart of the place! His warmth and energy made the whole experience unforgettable. If you go, definitely grab a spot at the bar and let Kevin take care of you. You won t regret it!
Excellent Tapas and superb atmosphere.
Tommy excellent server.
Tommy, the best waiter! All amazing.
Beautiful decor. The food is correct and very plentiful. The servers are friendly. Unfortunately, the 3 options offered by the restaurant for tipping are 18%, 20% and 25%?!?!? This is, in my opinion, a bit dishonest.
The setting is rather pleasant, and the meat in the main dishes is very well cooked. Only downside: the grilled lamb was too dry.
The aggressive, rude host, service 0 Atmosphere 0 Kitchen 0 Very disappointed with the place I expected much better than that
I do not recommend this place, the host is very aggressive, he almost verbally attacks you Cold food, no atmosphere really, not worth going there at all Disgusted.
Food, service, ambiance everything was amazing ! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try a good tasty restaurant!
For supper. A 4 for the food (fairly small portions for the price), a 0 for the atmosphere. But what is this idea and fashion of playing loud music in a restaurant? Its not a bar and everyone is screaming. Fortunately, the weather was still nice enough to be on the terrace, even if we were a little cold. We mentioned this to the waitress and she said she also gets a lot of noise complaints, which she reports but nothing happens. Too bad because I wont go back even if the food is worth it. At the high price of the meals served, I want a calmer atmosphere where we can hear each other talk
Nice restaurant and good service but clearly inflated prices $25 for the main course without side dishes remains very expensive, especially compared to restaurants that can offer a similar experience Too bad because the place is beautiful and offers a nice atmosphere
Picked up butter chicken and rice brought it home hardly any chicken in the dish Sauce tasted like. It came out of a jar terrible we couldnt eat it it Took it back asked for a refund they wouldnt give it but would recook the dish No thanks!!! Terrible this was a small Indian rosia take out place on South Fraser The food may be good in the bigger restaurants Not here!
Wonderful experience ! I was septic because on the Plateau most of the time, we dont get to taste the real thing ... but we were really happily surprised. It was delicious and very cosy. The young staff is charming : it is very nice to be around enthousisatic and caring youth, and bilingual as a Bonus. BRAVO to the one making it all happen ! Vegetarian options: Nice choices
Much too noisy, having to speak very loudly to hear the person in front, the table of 2 next to us ended up moving side by side rather than face to face because they couldnt hear each other But excellent food, excellent service, it remains an address where you cant go wrong
Meticulous, attentive, impeccable service. If you have the chance, choose a place at the bar and appreciate the professionalism of Kevin, a passionate person like few others see. Phenomenal cocktail and truly delicious food. A Memorable Experience!
Liked the caged chair
Excellent Indian restaurant where the service is impeccable and the dishes are of high quality. Rather upscale restaurant which also serves as a cocktail bar.
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. The fusion is excellent from cocktail to dessert, the dishes are rich and tasty! I prefer the atmosphere of the one at Mont Royal in Griffitown which is much noisier. The service is good. Absolutely worth trying if you are in Montreal.
Perfect
Loved the food and experience. Would definitely go back!!
Really weird restaurant concept. An Indian restaurant that serves brunch lunch with Indian sauce... I didnt taste the eggs benedict with sauce but for the other dishes; the food is quality, pleasant atmosphere, good taste. Some popular items in traditional Indian restaurants are not on the menu but what is there is good. Vegetarian options: Indian food = vegetarian.
Went there for bruch, good service, and the food was excellent!
We had supper on the praise side. Chicken Korma and masala vegetables very good! We liked the Dal Tarka with spinach less
Ibrame...just wow! Vegetarian options: Beautiful options and delicious!
Very noisy
Always a great pleasure to come and eat here; a MUST! the food is still excellent, as is the service! a place to come, again, again and again, 5 stars!!! Although the restaurant has expanded, it is unfortunately also less pleasant :-( noisy, less pleasant, too many people, the charm is no longer the same :-( Always a positive point, the food is still good and the service top!
Our company ordered 400$ worth of gift cards in January and never received them. Multiple calls and emails have not been addressed. Any restaurant that treats potential clients is a red flag Appreciate a follow up, emailed and called two weeks ago with no response. We are located in Montreal and our VISA transaction shows your restaurant processed $400 from us, yet we received no gift cards. Will delete review once situation is addressed as promised.
We came for brunch on November second without a reservation and we were still seated and given approximately an hour to eat. I ordered the India rosa bagel and it was delicious and super filling. Was bigger that I expected but not complaining about that. Coming back soon to try their lunch and diner menu!
A great place to enjoy creative Indian cuisine!
I recently visited Indian Rosa on Mont-Royal and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely amazing authentic flavors. The atmosphere was perfect, a 10/10 for sure; it s cozy and beautifully designed, a special shoutout to our waiter, Kevin, who was attentive, friendly, and made our evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent brunch with Indian flavors. Kid-friendliness: High chair available but without safety clip
In terms of cuisine, it s a delicious place! I recommend 100%. What is service is something else. The waitress with the red Lulu braid was not very warm. At first, I told myself that since she was the only waitress I was going to be patient, but then I had to wait for her several times for her to serve us or assist us, because she didnt come to see us At no time during our meal did I believe that she was deliberately ignoring us even though we were trying as best we could (in a polite manner of course) to wave to her. The rest of the staff was very pleasant :). Waitress with red lulu braids: 0/10. Food: 10/10
Wow. Excellent food and presentation, layers of flavours. Staff were kind and helpful with recommendations. Great bunch spot. Food
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food always fresh and appetizing.
The food was great! The place was pretty busy and a bit loud, there is also not a ton of space between seats so you are a bit squeezed if you need to stand and are likely to hear conversations, but if you like a lively brunch place, the experience is overall pleasant. The service is nice and the food made with care and attention to details.
The food is honestly excellent
We were 3 for lunch. We ordered Dahl soup, lamb curry, chicken and shrimp Biryanis and they were all excellent. Very good service added to a great dining experience. Eager to return!
We had the aloo tikki, sheek kebab dagneau, legumes tandoori, samosa végétarien, and garlic naan. I appreciated the foods artful presentation. However, the flavor of the dishes left something to be desired, as I felt the spice (read: not heat) levels were held back significantly. The samosas in particular were needing some extra flavor. The variety of chutneys provided with the dishes tasted nice, but were entirely too sweet, which I felt did not contribute to the flavor balance of any of the dishes. I understand the restaurants modern angle, but edging back towards tradition vs. the avante-garde would elevate the meal in my opinion. Texture of every dish was on point. Garlic naan was delicious. The atmosphere was classy yet relaxed and comfortable. However, we were sat in a corner of the restaurant where there was harsh overhead white fluorescent lighting shining in your eyes instead of the nice ambient amber glow of the other 80% of the restaurant. I wonder why this lighting choice was made... please, change the lighting for dinner time! Our server was kind, attentive, and bilingual (speaking French and English), and we didnt go without a full cup of water or wine for the entire meal. Overall had a nice time and would like to try some new dishes, but Ill request another seat next time. Vegetarian options: Suitable for vegetarians, plenty of options.
Very good experience: excellent food, good, efficient and friendly service, warm atmosphere and pleasant and not aggressive background music. Only downside: we ordered an appetizer and received our food right away. We would have preferred to receive our meal after having finished the aperitif and accompany it with a good glass of wine. THANKS !
Gluten free option
Everything about this place is phenomenal! I love Indian food and this was definitely one of the best places I ve ever tried. The ambiance is perfect for a date night. Highly recommend India Rosa!
Impeccable food and service! Very noisy the evening we went there however.
Very good food, excellent service, we were in the new place (longer).. so very loud music and not super comfortable bench. Vegetarian options: Mind-blowing garlic naan bread
Excellent! Super service.
Good delicious food but overpriced little bit comparing to the portion ( specially the sheek kebab .. also the taste good for the kebab but not wow). We ordered a spicy sauce or paste as we are in Indian restaurant but when we payed we recognized that its a 2.5 $ ! It supposed to be free as a normal thing in any Indian restaurant, not about the money, about how silly that is ! The garlic naan more delicious than the cheese! The amount of chicken pieces in Biryani is not enough comparing to the price. But the ambience was lovely & the staff also.
My new favourite restaurant! Food was a delight
It was very tasty
It was very nice, good people and the cuisine is amazing. Ill come back again for sure
I love the decor and atmosphere of this restaurant! I went there with friends for brunch, we all loved our meal (sublime!).
always a very pleasant time
One of my favorite places for brunch, the food is tasty and the portions are proportionate. The waiters/waitresses are welcoming, helpful, courteous, basically very professional. The decor is calming and harmonious. The toilets are always clean and smell good. Vegetarian options: In terms of main dishes and brunch, there is a vegetarian section
Smaller than griffintown location, i chose inside but because of The terrace vibe, the windows were opened aka flies and bees were entering however the food was tasty and affordable for the quantity (chicken and waffles)
The host was very welcoming. The service was impeccable and our waitress was more than friendly to us. For 2 of the 3 dishes ordered, the portions were a little small for our liking, but the flavors made up for it. This is the 3rd time Ive been there and Ive never been disappointed.
Everything was amazing starting with the cocktails, which were a work of art. The service was friendly and professional. We will be back!
Not knowing what to expect, I was very nicely surprised by the well balanced flavors from the various dishes. The vibe was cool and the service lovely and rapid. It was above my expectations. Just a reminder that this is a tapas bar so the portions are small but the flavors made up for it. Very nice experience and would recommend it to friends.
I came to celebrate my birthday and the service was excellent. The waitress who served us was very generous and friendly. I had a very good evening.
Some of the better lamb madras curry Ive ever had. Cocktails are inventive, fun, and tasty. The service was really great, and the new server did a great job. Get up Mont Royal and GO HERE!
Excellent food, excellent service
Loved the food. Will definitely visit again.
Jy retournerai certainement!
A little noisy, nothing to complain about otherwise Excellent service..this was our first visit. The young girl serving guided us through the menu with kindness and professionalism.
Wow . Just go. Some of the most exotic flavors I ve had. By far the most interesting breakfast I ve enjoyed in Montreal Food : 5/5
Very good Indian brunch! The chana masala and fried naan bread were very good!
Excellent dishes Excellent Service
Very good, nice atmosphere, good service!
Everything was perfect, as always: the very friendly service, the delicious dishes. THANKS!
The food was good and the place is beautiful. It was a bit expensive for the size of the portions. However, I am disappointed with how it was served. We got a starter, cocktails, and two entrées. They brought our starter and entrées together and gave us our cocktails halfway through our meal after we had to ask. Anyway, if they could time their courses properly, I would consider going back.
India Rosa should be really proud to have someone as genuinely kind as Thomas working with them.
Looking for the best Indian in Montreal I was not disappointed . Very tasty, authentic dishes and careful presentation. The restaurant is very beautiful and the waiter was adorable and gave good advice. Vegetarian options: A sufficient choice of vegetarian dishes thank you
Terrible experience - we booked a reservation over the phone, explained it was for a birthday and special day. The gentleman on the phone confirmed the booking and when we arrived, the staff had lost the reservation, we had organized a cake and treated like gum on the bottom of ones shoe.
This place has small and tasteless dishes and it is so expensive! I honestly dont understand why it is always busy!
Great food and atmosphere. Its a little bit sunny during brunch, but otherwise its fantastic place
Service and atmosphere were great. Nothing to complain about. But food-wise, it s nothing to rave about. Taste-wise it s ok. For portion, Extremely small for the price. When you are charging 20 bucks for lentil dish which does t cost much to make, I expect decent portion size.
If this is the best Indian restaurant in Montréal, you need to come to Ottawa. The atmosphere is very nice and cocktails selection is out of this world. Eating their food on the other hand is a great way to keep fit.
Good fusion restaurant , loved the amazing food
We were served by Alex, he was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We ordered several Tapas to share, as well as the Chicken Rice and Butter Chicken dish. All were delicious. I recommend this place
We had a late lunch there in September 2024. The restaurant is in the trendy Plateau Mont Royal neighborhood, and is nicely decorated. Inside there are tables with swings, and diner-style tables (we sat at one of them). There is also a balcony with tables facing the street. We ordered a lot of dishes - 4 vegetarian samosas ($10 CAD, see photo), chicken curry ($26.5, not a large amount, see photo), vegetables in curry ($18.50, spicy, see photo), garlic bread ($7 ), tandoori skewers ($17, we ordered by mistake, see photo), vegetable salad ($13), mango lassi drink ($11, delicious but quite expensive, see photo). Cheese, due to a misunderstanding (we were not charged for it). The food is delicious, not cheap, arrives quite quickly.
My God! We loved everything! The cheese starter is my favorite, really delicious, I will order it every time I go back, because it sure wasn t my last time. The drinks were wonderful! The service: friendly and impeccable. The waiters always make sure we have a good time. I cant wait to eat at this restaurant. Dietary restrictions: They serve seafood.
The meal was very good but I found it a little expensive for what it was.
Good food but the music was a little loud
I would like to start by saying that we found the food extraordinary but we were hugely disappointed by such pitiful service by the waiter. He clearly asked us for our identity cards to ensure our age, I understand perfectly, so we were very cooperative and demonstrated that we were adults. The waiter told us he didnt believe us and that he wanted to call our parents. We found it indiscreet and not at all professional, but we accepted. He was not convinced even after the call from our parents who perfectly confirmed that we were adults and wanted to see our conversations with them (unacceptable). After that, he accepted and asked us what we wanted to order and then told us that he didnt have it. Personally, since the restaurant is quite famous, we expect the waiter to tell us that it is no longer on the menu well before ordering. We believe this was an intentional gesture on his part. I find it really unprofessional of him. We were really disappointed, but the food wow!
This is one of my favorite restaurants, delicious food and service is perfect. Celebrated birthday with family, the salmon, chicken with waffles and crepes with fruits all great presentation and yummy the drinks great loved the mimosa with guava service excellent, plus once they found out its my birthday they brought surprise sweets, so thoughtful thank you all
Enjoyed my experience at Mlle Rosa, the extension on India Rosa. Its cozy, its nice. They just tell you that you have 2 hours to eat. (Ah yes it continues!) A little expensive but the portions are reasonable. Good cocktails and good service.
A pure delight at very affordable prices.
Cute little Indian restaurant with a modern flare. Review only pertains to brunch experience. Food was good. Service was okay. Have been here a few times, but this time left a little to be desired. We had a reservation for 10 AM for brunch, right when they opened. We arrived on time. The restaurant was not full, there were many open tables. The hostess brought us to a table in the back by the washroom. I asked if the table with the large comfy chairs or by the window was possible. She told us only if we ate within 1 hour. She kept reiterating that for brunch we could only be there for 1.5 hours, and at those two tables, only 1 hour. These tables remained empty the entire time we were there. We reluctantly took the table in the back by the washroom without this time limitation. For the whole time we were there, they kept jamming everyone in the back by the washroom while they kept the front of the restaurant essentially empty. They literally prioritized restaurant patrons that weren t even there yet over people actually presently in the restaurant. This left a bad taste in my mouth honestly. Our table was unstable, it kept rocking back and forth, so we asked if the waitress if it could be stabilized. She came over and handed me the pieces to stabilize it ourselves. When we hesitated for a moment, she eventually tried to stabilize the table without success. We did it ourselves in the end. Food and beverages came in a timely manner. Cappuccinos were good. Mango lassi is very delicious, but a little pricy at $10. Brunch options were very different and unique. We had the salmon tartine and bene agneau. Very big portions, beautifully plated. If they improved the service and prioritized the guests present in the restaurant who made reservations over people who aren t even there, the experience would be much improved.
Amazing but $$$$
Extraordinary restaurant in terms of food. However, every time we go there, we feel in a hurry to leave. The waitress was super nice, but we still had wine left in our glasses and she asked us if we wanted the bill and asked us again two or three times within 5 minutes. At the price of the bill, it would be interesting to be able to relax a little .
Excellent service. The dishes are very ordinary.
Super good, but the plates are very small for the price. The service was very good though :)
Trying to decide if the chicken or lamb korma is my spirit animal at this Indian fusion restaurant... but lets be honest, its the naan that really completes me. #Currykroma #FusionFeast #NaanStop
Too expensive for two tapas and two desserts, the waitress instead of explaining the dishes to us seemed to make fun of the fact that we didnt know the menu! She didnt like us leaving a 15% tip. Parking: Hell find a place
Magnificent evening, warm welcome, impeccable cuisine, thank you
Its a good restaurant with an inspiring menu. On the other hand, I found my portion a little small for the price of the plate.
The reservation was made but still had to wait for 20 minutes. Food was very average. Madras chicken was made in sambhar gravy which was a huge disappointment. Definitely not worth the price. The ambience was good. I won t recommend this place as they are not familar with what Indian food tastes like. Flavours were not authentic.
Excellent for both brunch and dinner!
Super brunch original!
Very nice brunch in a nice setting! I always get the fried chicken waffles (very filling). The service can sometimes be long but this restaurant at least allows you to reserve your table online.
If, when you are in Montreal, you decide to take a stroll down Ave Mont-Royal in the evening (which you most definitely should) you could wind up at India Rosa which would be a very good thing. Service was great and accommodating (we had no reservations and they squeezed us in at the bar anyway) cocktails were delicious.
Biryani is not good. Curries seem fine
The place is cute but tbh the food was just ok. I am an Indian food snob. I might come back for the vibe. Not for the food especially at this price point.
Very good restaurant but traveling to the restaurant with all the detours and constructions makes it difficult to choose the restaurant. I recommended to everyone.
Great food. Great staff. The only weird thing is your beer list needs to be improved. The listed beers were different on my menu than the menu of my dining partner. You were also out of the beer I wanted and you were out of it also when I ate at your restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Food
I love this restaurant, the food is good and the atmosphere is very nice. The warm and friendly service makes us want to return. A special thank you to Debb, who delighted us with her liveliness, kindness and professionalism.
Great food, great restaurant! but get ready to spend here lol because its a bit expensive and their service is actually good!
Excellent service, excellent food, magnificent decor! Butter chicken my classic! Prawn malai and dari puri... Naan bread obviously, other dishes too.. Everything was fabulous thank you
Food was decent, service was OK but the server actually told us we need to TIP more. That was a first for me. Just for that terrible attitude, I am not going there ever again.
Nice restaurant with good food! The quality is good and it s a good amount of spicy! The only downside was the waiting of our dishes beside that I would certainly recommend going!
If you are looking for typical authentic Indian food=} nah But really liked the atmosphere, very cozy and service was great! Food : 3/5
I shouldve made a reservation before going because I didnt like to sit near the kitchen. We ordered French toast, chicken and waffles, and two Dharma. The French toast was not that good, and the portion was small. But, the chicken was great and the portion was enormous for one person. The mocktails were good too. Service was ok, mainly because it was busy and it seemed that they were understaffed.
Great service and great food as always. Maybe a little pricey sometimes. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options. Food : 5/5 |
Very good cuisine, refined and copious. The waitresses take great care.
Succulent dishes, courteous service and very warm decor.
Magical experience at India Rosa! The hostesses made me feel very welcome and accommodated my requests. The impeccable service from all the staff more than exceeded my expectations
Incredible cocktails, meals to be enjoyed with pleasure with the scents of fresh and gourmet Indian cuisine.
Its not that the food isnt good, the place is cute and the dishes are good, but its way too expensive for what it is. The price of a dish does not include accompaniments. You have to pay for rice and bread separately for $11 more. Mocktails are $13. In addition, we had to wait 20 minutes for a waiter to come bring us water to our table and take our order.
For the price, the rating would have been a. The waiter asked me what kind of naan bread I wanted and I chose the regular one. But to my amazement, as the main course did not come with any accompaniments, I thought that the naan bread was the included accompaniment but no, it was added at $5.00. Also, I asked the waiter if the option I chose was spicy and he answered in the negative. I had a hard time consuming this food and left out the sauce completely and resorted to the bread. For the affability of the server, I couldnt give a higher rating. Ive had Indian food before and liked it but at this place I definitely wont go back. Vegetarian options: I have to continually pursue a questionnaire???
I was extremely surprised! The decor is amazing and the service was great. The flavour of the food are great, not too sweet not to spicy. You dont wait too long to get youre food once youve placed your order. Food
Incredible food, hopping atmosphere, and overall a great time! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options! Food : 5/5 |
Very expensive for our meal. I m a very regular customer at both locations. Value is not there unfortunately .and I really felt it on this visit. Dinner for two should not cost $125.00 without alcohol or dessert. Love you guys .but it s gotten too much. Thank you Food
The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere with a welcoming ambiance, but unfortunately, the food falls short of expectations, being quite mediocre. Moreover, the staff seem uncoordinated, leading to inconsistent service and delays. While the place has received a lot of buzz, I personally found it to be overhyped and not quite living up to its reputation.
I really liked this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and the service was very good. The food is excellent and the choices are varied. I highly recommend this place for a little fancy evening.
The worst experience ever they got us waited for an hour long just for the order of two things Worst service!!!! Whenever you ask for how long it will take they just reply I ll go check and tell you.. they gave the same reply everytime and even after waiting for long time they served the average food
The BEST brunch I ve ever had. I m from Toronto and would 100% drive 6 hours to eat here again! The french toast is a must have!
Good atmosphere and great hospitality.. service was quick and friendly.. I definitely recommend this place for cocktails We ordered 2 cocktails and both were balanced.. It is very very rare to find a good indian restaurant with good cocktails in Canada.. Trust me I know what I am talking about.. Food was ok...for the price point there can be more innovation in the menu... We ordered malai kofta and veg biryani...koftas were soggy and biryani was ok without any dum.. Overall a good experience in Montreal..
Great food great waiter, great atmosphere! Will be back Vegetarian options: Delicious lentil with curry and ginger sauce Food : 5/5 |
all good, great evening Vegetarian options: there are lots of options Food : 5/5 |
not even a tablecloth Vegetarian options: its okay, the problem is eating directly on formica...
An insult to Indian cuisine and an insult to customers: bland dishes, barely perceptible Indian flavors, in main courses three shrimps for one and three tiny pieces of chicken for the other, both drowned in a sauce which does not nothing Indian. Certainly the setting is neat, but the dishes are a scam to avoid using harsher words. There are so many more refined places at the same prices with good portions but above all a pleasure for the taste palate (the taj, Punjab canteen, thali)
Worst reservation experience ever, the guy on the phone this afternoon kept me on hold for 1 hour then kept hanging up on me or say hold then kept me hold again for another hour, my fault for caring about wanting to eat here. How one person can ruin a longtime customer, busy hours doesn t excuse hanging up on somebody that waited an hour on the phone. If your too busy don t pick up the phone but don t waste my time holding for nothing.
When waiter Kevin appears you realize you don t even need the pw indiarosa to navigate the beautiful menu, he s intuitive and pleased to know Fitz Velo recommended. The Salade Maison , lamb kabob, garlic naan and chick pea puffs plus green tea cappuccino pistachio ice cream donut holes. Too yummy for a Californian who wants to return annually the rest of our lives
Kevin is a waiter worth waiting for
Everything was great!! The food was fantastic and the drinks were excellent!!! Tela the bartender and her service team was great! Will definitely be back again!! Food : 5/5
A quality Indian with friendly service
Best indo-québécois restaurent, good food good staff, just a little over priced but I think the service compensate for it. I took my wife and mother-in-law and they both liked it alot:) Vegetarian options: I am Indian and I can tell the food was so Indian that I didnt missed my country over there and the atmosphere was so modern and classic. I and my person really enjoyed the time over there and would definitely return some other weekend.
The food is really good but its a bit expensive in my opinion. Vegetarian options: There is an entire section of the menu that is vegetarian
First experience at India Rosa: I am completely charmed! The atmosphere is chic and relaxed. The impeccable service; everyone was super nice and answered all my questions about the menu. And what can we say about the cuisine, pure DELICIOUSNESS!!! Im already dreaming of tasting giant shrimp again!
Still so good. Magnificent service from our server Tommy
What a welcome from the waitress who kindly assisted us
Excellent on all points. But we wonder if the boss isnt French: she really seems in a bad mood
I love coming to brunch at India Rosa. Always beautiful plates and good service.
My personal experience is pretty average. Without being bad, the atmosphere is rather ordinary. Its noisy and the loud music in the ambient noise remains inaudible and simply offensive. There was no dedicated lighting above our table. In terms of food, one of my 2 naan breads was raw inside and my glass of water had a vague fishy smell. Fortunately, the dishes were quite good and the service friendly.
We loved our experience, top service, top cuisine, I recommend 100%
India Rosa became our go to restaurant during our short trip to Montreal. The service was excellent and all of our dishes were great. We enjoyed the chicken and vegetable biryanis, Hariyali chicken and butter chicken were all great. Service was given with a smile. We enjoyed so much that we came back within a short 4 day trip. If you are in the Plateau neighborhood, I definitely recommend you stop and enjoy a bite.
