I recently visited this Peruvian restaurant and had an excellent experience! The vibe is fantastic, creating the perfect atmosphere for enjoying a great meal. The food and drinks are authentically Peruvian, full of rich flavors and crafted beautifully. It’s definitely a must-visit spot if you’re looking to try real Peruvian cuisine. Highly recommended!
Amazing spot! Super lively and fun. First off the set up of this place is a huge bar in the middle and bar seating all around the bar and seating against the wall. There is no traditional seating it is all bar stools. This was maybe one of the very few downsides of the place, if you wanted to kind of relax and have a seat back you wont have that luxury. The drinks were super interesting and delicious. The negroni was different and you could really taste the coffee flavour in there. The maraycun sour (pisco sour with passion fruit) was really nice and tarty. The staff was helpful and really gave you a lay of the land regarding the menu. The suggestion was about 4-5 dishes for 2 people which was reasonable. The yucca fries are a MUST get. SUPER DUPER DELICIOUS. The vegetable dumplings, also very nice, maybe could have been filled a little better. The cheese empanadas were just okay, not great, not bad. On the meat side the octopus was really nicely made and had a great flavour and the chicarron dish was super tasty and filling. The one thing I would not suggest is the donut dessert. Honestly not great. They shouldn't have it on the menu. It tastes like nothing. We left it on the table after a few bites. The donut itself was tasteless and it was drenched in this very flowy sugar syrup. So its not like the syrup even permeated the donut. It was really terrible, but everything else was amazing.
This place is sooo good !! The food is amazing, we order like 5 different dishes & all of them were good… my favorite was the tiradito de salmon, las empanadas, las frites de yuca.. honestly all of them were so good !!! The drinks also were really tasty and the best for last the dessert was amazing !!!! We will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu 🥳
A friend of us recommended this restaurant for their Tapas. Although the Peruvian food here is not really tapas, the dishes do come in small plates. To be honest, food is not amazing and the sauces taste all the same. The ambiance though, is nice and dynamic. The chef prepares food right in front of the you.
This was the first place we ate at when we landed in Montreal, and it was so much fun! We made a reso which I highly recommend. When you enter the inside vibe is super cool. It's dark with neon lights and really good music playing. We sat at the bar and literally got 1:1 attention from the server/bartender who was super nice! All of the food here was delicious. We shared a bunch of dishes and some of my faves were the yuca fries, fried chicken, chicharron mango salad, and the salmon tiradito. I also tried duck heart for the first time!! A lot of the dishes are listed as spicy but they were not spicy at all. The drinks here were also sooooo good. I loved the Pina Colada cocktail they have (can't remember the actual name). It tasted like a yummy fruity drink! My mom had the virgin version and really liked it too! I would definitely come back here again, everyone was so so nice and made our dinner super fun!
We came here while on a weekend getaway. Tiradito was recommended by a client of mine. The whole staff is very attentive and able to multi task efficiently. While sitting at the bar the bar tender would take care of our needs while simultaneously shaking drinks when our waiter/server was away. The food was very good, especially their signature dish. I'm writing this a month later so the names escape me at this time. Tiradito is fun, trendy and the food is spectacular. Highly recommended.
I mean, Wow, we chose this place for my husband's birthday dinner and was honestly blown away by the food. It was so good, I would highly suggest trying this restaurant. This was our first time trying peruvian cuisine, so we were not entirely sure how the flavors would be, but it was beyond any expectations we had. A must try would be the crispy shrimp, fried chicken, and lemonade mocktail. Also the bun sandwich and yuca fries.
Phenomenal! One of the best meals I've had in Montreal! Absolutely incredible, I can't say enough good things! Service was good, although a little disjointed. However the drinks, food, and atmosphere were off the charts! Will definitely be back, and will definitely recommend this spot to anyone!
Good food with little serving. Good for people who eat like birds.
I really always recommended this place to my clients, a couple of months ago I was frequenting this place. It was amazing! Today I came back and nothing was good! The ceviche simply didnt taste like ceviche and what for me was the best pisco sour in the city was down to the worst Ive had so far! Its unfortunate that the quality goes down like that.
Amazing good and drink quality
Very nice experience at Tiradito. The cocktails were bold and the dishes authentic but with a twist! Small downside, its a very club atmosphere so loud music and bar-style benches. Vegetarian options: Several options available! Kid-friendliness: No, its a bar. Wheelchair accessibility: No, several steps to climb to get to the restaurant.
The food is very good and it has a good atmosphere.
Kid-friendliness: No, bar with food, not recommended for children Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible, steps no ramp and bar high tops all around, no low tables, narrow walkways. Food : 4/5 |
Amazing food and the service was even better. Great people work here.
Its a delight in the mouth.....
Excellent food and impeccable service. The stools are unfortunately very uncomfortable.
My friend recommended this place and at first I was very doubtful of the cuisine. But I was so wrong and I have tasted some of the best food ever! Very flavorful and the texture is perfect. The price point is definitely on the higher end compared to the portions (think like youre eating pricy appetizers). The vibes of the location are pretty great too for a romantic setting or a hangout with friends or even a lone adventure as the way the seating are is setup allows for it. Lastly, get the duck!!
Ouf what a disappointment. To start on a positive note, the first dish we tasted with crabe was good and the wine was drinkable, then everything went downhill from there. You re very uncomfortable sitting on stools with no way to put your feet, and no place to hold your bag while you re grazing the complete the stranger next to you. The chicken dumplings were cold served with the same sweet chili sauce you buy in a store. The calamari tasted like fish sticks that come frozen. And the magret de canard was covered in ginger and soya sauce to mask the taste completely. We left 150$ lighter and hungry.
Food was very good! Portion sizes however are really small for the price you pay, especially since it is meant to be shared, the it was basically enough to have one bite of each dish, so that was pretty disappointing especially since the flavors were amazing. I was with a party of 4 and we shared 6 plates plus drinks. Music a little too loud but overall fun inside. Kimchi dumplings and ceviche were a favorite. avocado tiradito was really good but needs something to go with it like chips or bread.
Lovely dinner for one. Friendly service.
We were sitting right at the spot where Jamie was prepping and had the most amazing time. Food was amazing but we most enjoying chatting with Jamie, super genuine and he made our night so much better
Very lively atmosphere for a Thursday evening. Went with a small group and sampled many plates. Ceviche, calamari, chicken dumplings, octopus, mussels chalaca, yucca fries, chicharron, magret de canard, fried chicken were all delightful. Chicharro, calamari were my favorite. Cocktails were very good. My 5th time here and counting.
Nice music and good appetizers..perfect combination
The food was good, came in small portions, which lets you taste a lot of things the same time. It was good to have something different from the regular/familiar items. It is very loud though. I wish threre were a few spots that were a little quiet.
The food is very well prepared, although the dishes are not very abundant, the quality is indisputable. The service is friendly but not very efficient, all of my groups dishes have been served at different times with more than 40 minutes between each others. The tables are like a bar table where you share the place with other people. It is very noisy but in general the experience is favorable.
Excellent cocktails and food!!! The atmosphere is great too!
Small plates and tapas at 14-25 dollars each, probably 2.5 tapas each person to be semi full, we had a caramel pudding dessert which is best as a dip for the yucca fries (taste like churros), it s nice place for a date, lighting is mellow, w service was nice, some of the food was more inventive than others , leans more Chinese than Peruvian in my taste buds. For the two of us it was 170 after 20 percent tip with 1 cocktail and a beer. Best dish was the octopus
Excellent restaurant, good atmosphere, fast and courteous service. We had the salmon tartare (very good) the spicy squid, the veggie dumplings and the classic ceviche. Plus a pisco sour. It s a beautiful place to discover! Reasonable prices for a downtown restaurant in MTL.
Loved that there are no tables, just every patron are sitting at the bar. Great atmosphere and the personnel are great to watch and are very serviceable. Tapas style restaurant and all that we tried was fantastic. Even the cook saw that we only ordered one sandwich and offered to cut in two for us great attention to a small detail. Will be going back for sure! Vegetarian options: They have a vegan menu too
Delicious!
Its a nice place with good food and drinks, but keep in mind this is a BAR. Not a bistro, restaurant, or whatever you want to call it. Do not expect a proper sit down meal
Got the crispy shrimp, pork belly, salmon Tiradito and fried chicken. Food was all pretty good but not like mind blowing. Drinks were really great and beautifully presented and it was impressive how bartenders multitasked with making drinks and taking orders. Music was very loud, even early in the night, so IMO too loud for dinner, especially if you re trying to talk to your friends. I d go again for drinks!
Definitely one of my best culinary experiences ever! The food was simply amazing as were the cocktails (favorite for the MTL colada)! All the tapas we ordered (on the recommendation of the staff) were delicious, original and made with quality ingredients. The staff members were truly sweethearts from start to finish, whether it was the food recommendation, the warm service and the caliente atmosphere, they were great! I will definitely come back to introduce other people to this gem!
Love the food here. I actually would not recommend the scallops, it was underwhelming, but, the ceviche and the shrimp were excellent. Service and atmosphere is actually nice, but I will say the food came out randomly (we got some plates within 10 minutes some 45 minutes later). Cocktails were excellent.
Excellent food, great vibe and super friendly service
The people are friendly and nice. they try to know what you want
Its an explosion of flavors. Very very good. The service is extremely fast. No waiting between each tapas. Falling for something
We went there for a romantic dinner and we loved it. The cocktails were amazing and delicious. I would have really liked to taste the Dolce banana being an old fashioned fan, but it seemed to be missing some ingredients, however I was served a similar cocktail which was impeccable. We had 5 dishes which reached the top with the chicharon and the octopus anticucho. The service was very attentive and we were served by a young man who seemed to be new to serving but had a perfect command of the menu. Music a little loud to keep a discussion going but it creates atmosphere.
FOOD: As a Peruvian the food is meh and more a fusion not bad but small portions of food that aren t all that great for 20$ each . Not really worth it. Drink was fermented (chicha morada), disappointed in that regard SERVICE: Went with my dad to eat there he got his meal first and mine came in 20 mins after, long after he was finished :// ATMOSPHERE: Fancy looking places, a tad crowded though Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible, have to go up a small amount of stairs and the seating is not wheelchair friendly
Consistently good food and drinks in a lively setting.
Great food and ambiance. Its rare that youll read this in a review but the food came too quickly.
This was my first time visiting this restau-bar with a friend. The food was tasty and the cocktails were also enjoyable. However, be aware that the portions are really small, more like appetizer/tapas size, which we weren t expecting. If you re just looking for a very light bite and mainly there for the cocktails, it might be a good spot. But if you re planning to have a proper peruvian meal, this may not be the best choice. Another downside is that there are no proper tables, just bar seating, which felt cramped and uncomfortable, especially being squeezed in between other people. I think this place could have more potential, if they offer larger portions, not just appetizer-style dishes, and have proper tables for people who are actually looking to dine in, not just sit at a bar. Despite the good food, I don t think I ll be coming back unfortunately
The place doesn t respect reservations and their operation hours
Food was delicious! Our favorite dish was the pulpo anticucho. The atmosphere and the service are phenomenal. Highly recommend this place for a fun night out! The bartender/waitress, Roxane, was incredibly kind and so helpful.
Best evening with friends in Montreal, the staff at the top, unforgettable evening thank you again
A memorable evening spent in the company of Osmar and Chloé! The setting is very pleasant and the music very trendy. Quality service and a top team from start to finish. One of my tenth alcoholic comas in my life but by far the best. I RECOMMEND this place!
We had the classic ceviche, yucca fries, duck skewers and crispy shrimp. The ceviche was phenomenal and a must try, the shrimp however was a bit on the bland side. Atmosphere was also super nice but service was nonexistent - the entire 2 hours we were there, I was the one pouring water and filling our glasses.
Nice place just I went there to eat a ceviche but this was not good and the price is high for this...all the rest the food is good ..
I recently dined at Tiradito restaurant and am delighted to share my experience. The meal was simply amazing, every dish delicious and prepared with remarkable attention to detail. Many thanks to Jessie, our server, whose service was impeccable and really helped make our evening special. If you are looking for a place to enjoy great food accompanied by exceptional service, I highly recommend Tiradito!
The ceviche was excellent! Yuka fries too. Music a little loud on the other hand, and a dish never arrived.
Very nice place, good food, try ceviche, the duck, dumplings, everything was fine... Great place to have good dinner and drinks... #tipsdeperreio
I think I was unlucky. But to be fair, the service was underwhelming. Asked a cider, the waiter forgot it, then, he said there was no cider; asked a beer, which took too long, I had to ask to the manager; then asked the dessert which didn t arrive, so I went away without it. But the food was good, as well as the cocktail.
The last time I went the ceviche tasted like defrosted fish, nothing worse in a seafood dish Im coming back today I hope its improved
It was a great experience! Mitch was our muse and really made the experience. Enjoyed the salmon tiradito, veggie dumpling and fried chicken oh, and the cheese empanadas. Will absolutely be back.
This place has got it all. Sublime food, outstanding service, very friendly staff and the music was really good. I always go for their chicharrón and ceviche, but honestly everything on the menu is top notch
Delicious cocktails!
Food and drinks were awesome!
A fantastic little bar and eatery! We came as a party of 4 without a reservation and we were sat at the bar. Our waitress was fast despite juggling so many different customers and we received our food and drinks quickly after ordering. Our drinks were very creative and tasted fantastic, I really enjoyed the MTL colada. We ordered the ceviche, octopus anticucho, spicy calamari and chicharron with mango salad. Each dish we ordered was unique and delectable.
Food, cocktails, service and atmosphere were great, nice decor too! Only downside is the stools aren t the best if you have back pain
Nice service and ambient. Food good as well. We had a nice dinner
Such a memorable experience and turns date night all the way up
Very uneven quality of service from one staff to another, food ok. Super good drink, very well made!
Food: Super delicious!! Portion: Too small, I think it is sth that you can eat besides your drink, not as a food, unless you order more than 2 or 3 dishes Price: a bit pricy Drinks: I got one with white egg, i didnt like it that much tbh Worth: yeah Service: GREAT! they are so friendly Atmosphere: Perfect, me and my bf really loved the vibe Music: Great (Peruvian) our food order: Tartare de Saumon, sandwich Recommend:
As Peruvian I can say the ceviche here was so authentic, I loved it! I loved that it was served in a bowl with a lot of juice, I also loved the empanadas au fromage. Recommended!
We loved this place! Visiting from the US and we re so glad we chose to eat here. They have small plates but some of them are very filling. I recommend Papa Rellena. It s meat inside a potato ball with delicious sauce. For dessert, definitely try the Suspiro Limeno. It s amazing! And for fun, google where the name came from. Vegetarian options: They have good vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options
Excellent restaurant bar with varied dishes. The music is very loud so dont go there for a quiet evening. The food is very good, I recommend the divine ceviche. Some dishes are not as good and everything remains quite expensive. We would like more original vegetarian dishes
Food, service, and atmosphere were good. Tapas style. Chicharron is an absolute must! You sit at the chefs counter and watch them make your food, which is great for more intimate dinners. The music is a little loud, so be prepared to talk loudly too here each other.
Very cool bar in downtown. The food and drinks were amazing. I highly recommend the ceviche and pisco spritz not cheap for the small portions, but worth it! Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly
Always a great experience! Impeccable service, quality food prepared in front of us in a festive atmosphere, explosive and different flavors and very reasonable prices. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great evening! I go back there every time I stay in Montreal.
Rather upscale Peruvian restaurant. Very good atmosphere. Be careful of red peppers which inflame your mouth.
Excellent service! Delicious food
Good vibes, great food & awesome staff! Shout out to Mitch for serving my wife and I for our anniversary!
Beautiful terrace in the city center, everything was good (small plates to share, ideal for a 5 to 7 group) and the service was warm and impeccable. Original cocktails! Were going back to try the other tapas on the menu!
Food was okay, nothing more nothing less. I felt like the flavours were just mixed together without being well mixed. The presentation looks very nice, but the taste very average.
Delicious food and drinks. Great ambiance. Recommend!
Superb experience!! Very very good and elaborate! I came across a really great server! Arthur, fast, efficient and super friendly! Ask for Arthur you will not be disappointed!
From the hosts to the last member of the staff who works there are extraordinary, great attention. Great atmosphere, excellent music, you can talk without a problem, the food goes without saying. , exquisite, fast service, affordable prices, totally recommended
In a beautiful sound world (too much for my old ears), we are very kindly welcomed and placed. Then we change our minds to ask for the terrace, then again for the interior following a sudden rain. The comfort of the high stools is relative for one of the guests. After our order of drinks and dishes, the plates arrived pell-mell, before our aperitif, making us opt to only drink cocktails, rather than having two bottles of wine. Everything is delicious, as if we were in Lima, and the service is quick with each new order. The pequeña causa is fabulous, the leche de tigre perfectly measured. A very beautiful and delicious experience. We will come back.
This gem serves the best and most creative small plates and cocktails with distinctive Peruvian flavors! The ceviche and Pisco sour are musts. Fun guaranteed!
Excellent food as always but chaotic service. Previous party hadn t vacated our table until 20 minutes past our reservation time but the staff was friendly.
Great vibe but average food and very slow service
Servers were extremely friendly & fun. They gave a free round of shots for us. Need I say more?
Excellent place to share some tapas between drinks.
Wonderful evening!! Excellent food, friendly staff (greetings to Mich who gave us very good service) The tapas style dishes are really good and beautiful!! The only downside is that the music is really too loud at the end, we were really attacked. Unpleasant to have to shout in each others ears, I dont understand this trend. I question the idea of inviting my lover there for his party because of this
The only downside, the music was a bit too loud.
The food and service were fantastic. It is all bar seating which is good for two persons but not a group. We were 4 and they sat us on a corner so it was ok.
Excellent service at the bar. The coffee Negroni and Macchu Picchu were delicious. The espresso martini was good but typical despite the Dulce de leche. The crab causa kinda tasted like a sushi roll. The Papa rellena was a big meat croquette which tasted South Asian. Fried chicken was good. Pork and mango salad was amazing. Fun vibe, music, and decor.
Incredible atmosphere. The restaurant instantly feels like a cool, upbeat bar. The staff is super friendly and are plating and working right in front of you. Our party of four split a total of 10 tapas and some drinks and left with our favorite meal from the trip.
Wall seating is awkward and a poor dining experience. Waited 20 min without a greeting by a server and decided to leave.
Excellent! Everything is good, hard to stop...! The service was impeccable and personalized The chef even took the time to come and discuss Peruvian recipes with us.
Food has always been above my expectations !
Nice experience, high quality drink and food . I enjoyed the time and the vibe is so good. The waitress is very friendly and nice, highly recommend this place if you looking for a nice luxury place to spend some quality time at.
First time at this Peruvian restaurant... nice atmosphere. The servers are extremely good natured and welcoming. I ordered 7 dishes for two people and they all were delicious. This was a pleasant surprise.
Tiradito is our go-to for Montreal restaurants. This last time was not as good as before but still very nice. (They were packed and the servers did not spend much time with us. It was hard to get questions answered.) They also played very loud music which i dont remember from before. But the food and drinks are very good and creative. Everyone found something they loved.
The atmosphere is great. The stools were a bit uncomfortable after a while, though. The food was enjoyable, but nothing out of this world. I particularly liked the empanadas and the papa rellena, but we felt the food was slightly overpriced. Food
The food was wonderful. We had the salmon tiradito, which was a highlight, as well as the octopus rellena (the nights special), the crab causa and the yucca fries, and one of their desserts, the suspiro limeño. It was all super flavorful and fresh. The menu is very varied, with lots of options. I also really enjoyed the pisco spritz cocktail. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the food being prepared in front of us. Our server was friendly and attentive. The service felt well paced, and the portions were perfect. We will be back to try more dishes and cocktails in the future! Vegetarian options: Not a ton of vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Quite a few gluten free options. Kid-friendliness: Its loud inside, and more of a bar with small plates - all the seating is bar stools. While I loved this spot, I dont think the food or environment is very kid friendly.
Was my first time there and had the absolute best time. Mitch was absolutely amazing from the recommendations he gave to his hospitality. Food was also incredibly great. I usually don t leave reviews but Mitch definitely deserved this one! We will definitely be back.
Definitely don t go with more than one other person if you re expecting half-decent service. Our server was a chaotic mess and so rude, complaining about us ordering too much, forgetting to actually put in orders (sad the dish I wanted the most just never came and the server never came back for over an hour so we could ask him about it), never bothered refilling a single glass of water, and then abandoned our table to go dance with his friends sitting next to us without communicating with us, introducing us to our new server who said sorry I m not a server when he couldn t figure out our bills, and then proceeded to take over an hour and 3 attempts to get our correct bills figured out, refused to give us a free drink or SOMETHING at the very least for wasting our time. Unfortunately the vibes are cool but we will not be going back, nothing ruins a good spot like terrible service.
The Papa Rellena was incredible! One of the best dishes I ve had in Montreal. It s such a cute little spot with a communal sort of setting definitely will revisit when I get the chance!
Really nice place food are amazing and à Monday make you feel like Friday night !
Been there with a colleague and it was really great. Excellent and attentive service as well as super tasty food, kind of a tapas style - so you can try a lot of different things. Will definitely come back.
Very happy to find this place after some quick research. Jose took care of us all night by recommending some great dishes and drinks. The food was absolutely unreal with the highlight being the chicharron. Such a nice vibe and everyone who worked there was very welcoming. Must try!
The service made me lose my appetite. The food can only be as good as the service. Seating is cramped.
We would give 6 stars out of 5 if possible. The food was unbelievable - every dish we had was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Highlights included the ceviche, anticucho de pieuvre, the anticucho de canard, and the papa rellena. The ambience was outstanding and the service was fantastic. Reserve ahead to be sure to get a table because you wont want to miss this culinary experience.
Very nice place for a 5 to 7 with work. Good food and quality service.
Good dishes, very well recommended by Loïc! I recommend the salmon tartare and the papa rellena! Thank you Manon for the welcome
First time visiting, wont be the last, already one of my fav MTL spots!
One of the top 3 restaurants Ive been in Montréal. The food is always super delicious and the ambiance really joyous with great music. The staff looks always happy and provides a great service! The perfect combination for an amazing time out! Thank you
Loic is awesome!
Really nice waiter, excellent food
Honestly everything is good. Favorite for the octopus. Fried chicken, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside
Amazing! We were seated at the bar in front of THE best, Vick. He cooked in front of us and answered all our questions. His service was impeccable and he took great care of us. The dishes were delicious, full of flavor while having the traditional touch of Peruvian dishes. It s the best ceviche I ve ever eaten! Hoping to return soon! Thanks again Vick Vegetarian options: Several very interesting options Kid-friendliness: No. Wheelchair accessibility: No. All tables are high.
Food is completely incredible! Everything about this place is 5 stars!
Amazing experience! The food is delicious, tasty! Cocktails are really good :) we would definetly recommend it!
Excellent food, ambiance and service. If you re visiting Montreal you should try it. Loved the octopus and ceviche!
Talented, friendly staff, excellent food and drinks
Very good Peruvian restaurant
Really delicious food, our waiter was very friendly and had good service, the price is fair and the ambiance is nice. Cute place for dinner and drinks with a friend or for a date! 10/10
Good place to go out. Only a personal opinion, the prices for food are a little bit high, in special for cevive, but at least is very good.
Dont miss the leche de tigre and chicharron with mango... great pisco sour too! Good ambience and service! Wed definitely go back.
Everything we ate and drank was delicious but the octopus anticucho was the best thing we had.
The service and the atmosphere was great. But i was very disappointed in the food. Certain items came out very bland to me or overly salty. Theres was none in between. I still enjoyed my night with some good drinks but still sad about the food not being that good.
Amazing spot - with delicious Peruvian fusion tapas. Literally the entire menu is perfect in terms of layers of flavours and the combinations between the different ingredients and spices. WOW !
Great atmosphere, good food, but it was the service that really killed the experience here. We were seated promptly, but then left for 15 minutes without anyone coming to offer us drinks or greet us even. It was like no one was assigned to wait on us. The only reason we were able to place our order was because one of the chefs noticed and flagged a waitress down. We got our food and drinks quickly after that point and it was all good, but no one came to check on us the entire time, offer us more drinks, see if we wanted more food. Nothing. Again, the chef noticed and got someone for us once we had finished everything, and we said we were done, but then no bill showed up again for 15 minutes until we asked a second time. There were a lot of servers running around doing things, but it didnt seem like any one was being served. Maybe it was just bad luck, but I dont think Ill be coming back here again. The disorganized service really ruined what could otherwise have been a very nice dinner
Sick !!! Wow, wonderful food experience, atmosphere and service! Dietary restrictions: Less salt
Great experience!
Dishes in the form of tapas all very good!
Good but quite expensive.
Genuinely amazing. Food was incredible, I want to order the entire menu. Cocktails perfectly balanced. Staff so friendly and atmosphere so relaxed and fun.
Cool vibe, cool food, cool drinks
Please note that it is a huge Bar (so no tables). The best ceviche in town with good pieces of halibut made in front of you. Outstanding service (thanks Mich). A festive and relaxed atmosphere. I will return ...
I loved this place! Fantastic food and great entertainment, everyone is friendly and polite there. Great experience!!
Warm welcome, super trendy setting, and quality, refined meals. On the other hand, the portions are a little small.
Great tapas bar! The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool and the servers are friendly. I highly recommend the vegetarian ceviche and the chicha morada, it was delicious! For an outing for 2/3 people, its the ideal place (but with a large group it risks becoming complicated since the restaurant is essentially a large bar with stools). I loved my experience and I will come back :)
Very good food and very good service
Nestled in the heart of Montreal s vibrant scene, Tiradito is a gem that perfectly marries the spirit of Peruvian cuisine with the charm of a local bistro. My view of this establishment, where the duck sandwich butifarra, ceviche classique, and anticucho, is that it is nothing short of culinary artistry. Imagine taking your seat where the ambiance instantly sets in, surrounded by the buzz of spirited conversations and the rhythmic allure of upbeat music. Its here that youre not just a spectator but a part of the experience as dishes like the ceviche classique a symphony of fresh seafood, citrus, and herbs are meticulously assembled right before your eyes. Each bite is a testament to the fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors that characterize Peruvian fare. The butifarra, a sandwich filled with succulent duck, is an encounter of both texture and taste, leaving an indelible impression on the palate. As for the anticucho, it s a dish that speaks of tradition, its flavors intensified by the grill and served with a side of culinary heritage. And let s not forget the Pisco sour. Crafted with precision, this cocktail is a balance of tart and sweet, the froth resting atop like a cloud of perfection a must-try for any connoisseur. Service at Tiradito goes above and beyond, where every patron is treated with utmost care and attention. The staff, knowledgeable and passionate, ensures every aspect of the meal is enjoyed to the fullest. The joy of Tiradito is more than just the sum of its parts. Its an atmosphere a cool, lively vibe that makes every visit memorable. With such excellent food and service, its no wonder this spot is highly recommended by locals and travelers alike. So, when in Montreal, be sure to let your taste buds revel in the culinary splendor that is Tiradito.
Great experience! From the friendly staff to the entertaining bartender to the stunning cocktails to every single dish we tried. What a wonderful find!
This is a 5 star experience!
My sister and I recently visited this place. Unfortunately, we don t speak French, so when the bill machine came, I struggled to understand what to click. I let the waitress know this information and informed her that I wanted to pay the exact bill and that I wasn t planning on including tips because of my budget. The service wasn t that great anyway, which didn t justify tips. To my utter shock, the waitress snatched both the bill machine and my card from my hand and made sure to put the tip amount herself and ensured the payment went through. I was deeply upset about the incident and felt robbed. Other than that the food was so good and filling!
Food and service was good. Great recommendations from the wait staff. Fun active environment. Would go back again.
Loved the food, drinks, and service! A little loud for me, but definitely a nice vibe otherwise.
The ambiance is so nice at the bar, the music and service were on top! My bf asked our server to choose 5 best menus for us at his discretion and I regretted a little, tbh his choices were okay, but I think he couldve recommended better variations/combinations. Ceviche was classic, the octopus anticuchos were also not too bad. I definitely need to go back to try more.
What a cute little joint! We had the best server/assistant Manager, Lidia. She was bubbly, considerate, and super professional!! The drinks and food were exceptional!! We enjoyed 5-6 tapas of varied flavours. My favourites were sliced duck, mango salad, and the sliced duck. Would go back in a heart beat!
Tasty Food and great ambiance. Loved the fried chicken and dumplings. Empty dishes as evidence of the great taste. Make a reservations if you olan to come on weekends. Food
I love this place, I visit it quite often. It was my birthday yesterday and I decided to enjoy the day with their delicious food. These flavours are the closest to real Peruvian food in Montreal. I recommend the ceviche, krabe causa, canard anticucho, calamar épicé and papa rellena. For dessert try the Lucuma ice cream if you have never tasted Lucuma before :D The staff was very nice and kind, especially François
I really enjoyed this restaurant and the ambiance. The entire restaurant is essentially one large bar top, but very classy and formal. The drinks were great, the service was great, the staff were very attentive. The food was also good, but there was something about the flavors sod a few dishes that I f.jjst thought could be a little better. This is still a great dining experience and I suggest visiting if you get the chance.
The place in Montreal. The food, ambiance and service are exceptional. Not to be missed. Peruvian cuisine at its best.
The food is delicious, the creativity they put into the food is unreal! My favorite place in Montreal
We were served by Axel and frankly he showed service beyond expectations and made our evening much more enjoyable!! I cant wait to go back!
Great cocktails, great food, great atmosphere
Great restaurant. Great ceviche!
We had such amazing food and Mitch is the nicest boy
Every time I go to Tiradito, I have an amazing experience. I love the fact that you sit around the prepping stations and get to see them prep the plates!
Everything was perfect! A very nice discovery. Classic ceviche is worth the trip
Excellent service, delicious food. We had a great evening!
Incredibly cool place! Great lineup of dishes that are ideal for sharing. Very happy to have tried this place out and will be back next time in Montreal. Friendly staff, cool vibe
Nothing short of amazing. This is easily the best Peruvian spot I ve been to in Canada!
Very nice atmosphere mostly all bar seating, which is different and cool. The food however, at least the dishes I ordered were very mediocre. Bar food for all bar seating I guess. Either way I still had a good time. Mitch was a fantastic server, very tentative and funny.
Busy but great atmosphere! Food is very small in portion size, but incredibly tasty. Food : 5/5
Great service which saved an average meal. Nothing was great but nothing was terrible either, it all was just fine but not more.
