A Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Pizza I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and it was an experience to remember. The pizza was nothing short of amazing—perfectly crafted with fresh ingredients and a crust that was just the right balance of crisp and chew. The new menu is simply stunning, offering a variety of creative and mouthwatering options that cater to every taste. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time. A special shoutout to Andre, the owner, whose kindness and warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome. If you're looking for a place with top-notch food and exceptional service, look no further. Highly recommended!
We've been to other Bocaro, this one is the best, the young man victor was excellent service and the food was great
pizza looked delicious, but way too much pasta sauce not enough cheese. fries were pretty good. Overall seemed like a friendly, place they put smile on my box. but pizza was ok wont order again from here.
Meera and Celia gave me excellent service. They were friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and so were the drinks. Everything was so yummy I ordered a second Mango Speziato and Tiramisu. Definitely recommended for all ages! Last picture is of Meera making hotshots. Ask her about them, they're delicious! 🤤
Ordered the linguini gigi and it was amazing! Very flavourful and creamy! I just wanted more of it with every bite
Bacaro is an alright pizzeria in Montreal. The vibe inside is nice and the pizzas are good, but not the best.
Stopped in here tonight for dinner and I was left disappointed… I ordered a Caesar salad and the Linguine! It’s next to impossible to mess up a Caesar salad so that was great! However, the linguini was another story! I ordered the linguini based off the servers recommendation! The taste was great however I could not enjoy the dish as the pasta was undercooked! The waitress was understanding and offered a remake however I did not want to be that person “sending a dish back”. This place has the potential to be great the ambience is nice and there is a good variety on the menu. However, I have to agree with other reviewers; the staff is more concerned with delivery than then diners. Also for a slow evening there was limited interaction with the guests… I rated the experience a 3 over all: the ambiance is nice, my waitress was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the dish was flavourful just not edible.
Stark industrial decor. Can be very noisy with tables close together and no acoustic dampening. Food is delicious. Even the small salad serves 2 or 3 as a side. I particularly liked the arugula salad. Pizzas are excellent. Restaurant was only half full and it took 20-35 minutes for food to come out. Very good wine selection. Bathrooms downstairs well appointed and clean. I would return to try some of the other menu options.
Overpriced
I was there first time. The starters are magnificent. Above all, potato. I ate the macaroni with the shrimp, it was good. The service is fast, but it wasnt very busy. The cocktails are magnificent. The staff is nice. The price is around 100 dollars for both, without alcohol, without desert with tip
Wheelchair accessibility: Street level access Food
The menu is amazing, and the food is outstanding. Highly recommended!!!
Great food, i.e. pizza and pasta.
It was nice :) we got some sort of drink to share and it was tasty.
Awful. Will never go back. Almost empty on a Saturday afternoon. Slow service, food was tasteless. But worse than that was the bathroom situation. The men s toilet is on the main floor. The women s toilet is in the basement with two stalls. One was full of waste, the other stall had no toilet paper, and there was no running water. When I mentioned to the incredibly indifferent staff hanging around the bar that there was no toilet paper and no water to wash my hands, I was informed that in the women s toilet, there is a FOOT PUMP to get water into the sink. Are you kidding me???? Outrageous! The men s toilet, where I was allowed to use the facilities and wash my hands had running water, clean toilets and toilet paper. What century are these owners living in? Awful atmosphere, bad food, unpleasant staff.
Look a bit rundown compared to near by pizza parlours opened about the same time (Pizza Melrose). Pizza are okay: Bomba is tasty but minimal garnish without been a «bomba». Quebecois is sort of all dress with fatty bacon. Cesar salad lack of everything to deserve the name «Cesar». Foods quality have gone down since our first. Wouldn t go back. Dietary restrictions: Cauliflower crust for low-carb diet
Excellent pizza. Beautiful terrace in summer. Since 2022, pizza has been less popular.
The food was just okay, not wow..Im upset of the cocktail amarato sour, its just a glass of plain water with full of ice,no taste of alcohol, amarato sour should be bit of light orange color with the sugar coated at the lit of glass..not a big glass of water with ice..not a happy customer..should hired a professional bar tender..
Rapidly becoming my go-to for pizza on Friday night I asked for a half and half fungi and pesto pizza tonight and it was great! Nicely done, a little earthy and the thin crust is delicious. Service is friendly and always timely. The atmosphere is a little noisy for an old guy like me, but looks like fun for groups.
Pizza is thin and crusty I really enjoyed and the coffee was good too
While I appreciate authentic Italian cuisine, my recent experience at Baccaro left much to be desired. The pasta was overcooked and lacked flavor, the service was slow and inattentive, and the atmosphere felt more like a cafeteria than a cozy trattoria. Overall, a disappointing dining experience that I wouldnt recommend to fellow food enthusiasts.
We have been living in Monkland but have always eaten at Pizza 900. Tonight is the first time we ordered from Bacaro . I hesitated to call for take out with the anticipation of late and cold delivery but Voila! Placed the order at 18:40 and was delivered in 25 min ( ok we live in the vicinity but still the order was a combination of pizza, pasta and nutella pizza ; all came warm and soooo fast. The style of the pizza highly serves our taste as the dough was soft and not thick. The pasta papardella ragu , orechiette with cheese and pizza quatro formaggi all tasted delicious. The speed of service has been such a big game changer ! It has been such a rewarding treat for our Sunday evening . They have also put little hearts on our boxes. We thank to the whole team in the resto and for sure they won us as regular clients. Thank you Everyone!
The service was very good - friendly and efficient waitresses. The food is good. The fries (in truffle oil) were crispy, crunchy...they never went mushy. My son ordered a pizza and told me he liked it. I ordered gnoccis with gorgonzola...didnt eat much - I wasnt really hungry after the fries. One thing: WAY TOO MUCH ICE IN THE DRINKS. What happened here?
Service was good, food was just ok.
Perfect
Half the menu wasnt available.
Good service, but not good food. I got spaghetti and it did not taste like it was fresh and I also got gnocchi which was over cooked and soggy. They also give very small portions for the price that you pay. So like I said, if youre looking for good service, go here, but not if you are looking to have a delicious meal.
A reservation had been made several days ahead of time. I had even put it in writing that we were going there for my daughter s 18th birthday. We arrived on the Tuesday night that we had reserved and there was a loud and boisterous childrens party taking place. We asked why they hadnt told us that a childrens party was taking place at the time we had made a reservation. The service was incredibly slow and the wait staff were unbelievably forgetful. The wait staff did nothing for my daughter s 18th birthday yet they did everything for the childrens birthday party even as the kids were running wild around the restaurant. When we asked the wait staff if they could do something for our daughter s birthday they emphatically said no. The food was mediocre and not worth the price. The location is convenient however the service was so bad and the food was so non descript that we wont be going back.
Very underseasoned generic food. For example, $20 for lasagna consisting of a stack of al dente noodles, bland tomato sauce with a bit of melted cheese on the top of it, no protein, no veg, no ricotta or béchamel. Go to Trattoria Mario on Upper Lachine or B&M on Somerled for more satisfying versions of this type of cuisine.
Waited 1 and a half hours for food. No one else in place except me and my friend. The cook and waitress were too interested in filling deliveries. Waitress had absolutely no interest that we were waiting so long. We will never go or recommend Bacaro to anyone.
We must of come on a awful night. There was a kids party in the place and the waitress kept mixing my sons orders with theres. My food came so fast and it was another 20 minutes for my sons order. I had to remind the waitress twice about our drinks. Not a good experience.
First visit. We had a plate of pasta with meat sauce and a pizza with sausage and red peppers. Not too much meat sauce, but a decent plate of pasta. I was disappointed in the pizza - Soggy crust and sausage was undercooked. I dont think Id go back.
Wow one of the waitresses was very very very beautiful
Excellent
Pasta servings to small , pizza was average service excellent. Would I come back ? no we came from the southshore just to try it. Wouldnt make another trip for what we paid for.
I went to eat last night, 6:40 p.m., I left disappointed. - Expensive and not famous.
Great authentic pizza, friendly servers and a great atmosphere. Be sure to try the Nutella fritters for dessert they are incredible.
Pizza more than disappointing for the price. Questionable quality and freshness of ingredients. There are so many other options for good pizza around.
Good pizza and sandwiches and really good service. Super friendly and quick.
Very disappointed, we went to eat with my family, very slow service, they got the childrens pizza wrong, we had to wait again, they got the wrong cheese afterwards (cheddar/mozzarella) we didnt like it at all ! Something was always missing, utensil, glass... it wasnt good at all, I wont go back there again, especially in terms of quality/price 0! Very disappointed
Good morning We were very very disappointed to no longer see the childrens menu. We were 2 families with children. A big disappointment. On Monkland Street, I did my research. There are 2 restaurants with childrens menu. I dont know if I will go back there with my family. I would like to know the reason for removing the childrens menu. Please dont put your decision on covid. THANKS DianeT
Never again.
Good place
This used to be an OK place, but the quality of the food has nosedived...so many better options out there
Great pizza
Very delicious Za Za pizza. Clean terrace and good service.
Not sure what happened to the food! But it is not what I am used to from Bacaro. Ordered a Zaza pizza, the pizza was soggy! The tomato sauce was bland tasting and the italian sausage was more like a generic grocery sausage. Then ordered the beignet with nutella and that too was not the same. Instead of getting 6 fluffy beignets we got 8 small what seemed to be donut holes. Very hard and dense. At least the 1664 blanche beer and whisky sour were good :)
Worth trying out
Love this place! The pizza is the best i had in a long time
Lovely ambiance and the best Margherita pizza in town ! All in the heart of the festive Monkland Street.
I feel extremely disappointed and offended with the service! I have never experienced this type of arrogance from the waitress who schooled me how high tip should be!!!! Little advice- talk to your boss about raise or change the job. DO NOT HARASS CUSTOMERS!!!!!!
Completely disappointing. The dishes were cold, there were three of us and no one finished their dish. the amateurism of the boss on site didnt even bother to ask what was wrong, why no one finished their dish. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED, no taste!!!!!
Everything was DRENCHED IN OIL..... We ordered pizza (had almost zero cheeze, felt like tomato tasting wet bread and only 4 pieces of meat) and a sandwich (bread half burnt, leaking oil from everywhere and it had raw/cold diced carrots/celeri in a warm sandwich). Service was horrible and the place was sooo loud (not even full) on a Tuesday night. We thought we were treating ourselves by going there because we love the Bacaro in TMR, but ONLY REGRETS! Vegetarian options: VERY FEW vegetarian options (considering ricotta and parmesan are not vegetarian) Wheelchair accessibility: Tables way too close together to roam in the restaurant. At least the bathroom is roomy
PIZZA 100%
Incredibly delicious, the best restaurant I have ever visited. Totally recommended.
Wood oven pizzas. Good taste.
The staff was absolutely great , 5 stars or even 6 . The food was not so great. We were 12 on Sunday for a kids Bday . If it wasnt for the quiet consistent attention of the 2 servers we would have complained. I had pasta with anchovies, very greasy and a soggy salad. Priced OK but need to work on quality
Unfortunately the service was not the best , the pizzas felt like they had too much tomatoes on them & the calamaries were not fully cooked Sorry but from my experience 2/5 Food
Ordered not 1 but SIX pizzas last night. They all came cold, soggy and 2 of them were over cooked. I nicely also asked for relish and spicy oil for my guests and specified 6 of them. Well guess what: got 1 relish and that s all. Called the store, of course I was out on hold for 10 minutes. No jokes, at this point, it was my third and final attempt at dealing with them. Will never spend another dollar there. Horrible horrible service and food quality.
Pretty good food, slightly limited tap selection
Awesome pizza & fries! Quick and professional service. Loved it
Very impolite staff. They took a reservation but had not kept any tables for us
The food is good but the service is disappointing. I made a reservation by phone for 5 in advance and on arrival I was offered two tiny tables by the entrance door. And the worst part was the girl who had made me the reservation herself and treated us very rudely and repeating this is all we have!. No excuse, no explanation!
Nice neighborhood pizzeria. Excellent pizza, delicious pastas... The decor is a bit too rustic and it was rather cold inside... (It was a chilly spring day so that didnt help...).
Accommodating to allergies! Friendly staff, attentive service.
Good place waitress was fine, good quality
Pizza is great and my experience was lovely. The only criticism I have is their portion sizes. When you order a plate of pasta, you expect a full plate, not a sprinkle of pasta on a plate.
Visiting from out of town and my brother suggested Bacaro for dinner. Pizza was awesome!
Best pizzas in the world
Plus: kids and wife like the food and it s 200m from the house. So it s not all bad. Minus: I get dragged there once a year for the terrace to get reminded of the food and horrendous service before vetoing the place for the rest of the year. There is just no system for the service. 4 servers, a Barmaid and a busboy can t keep up with 6 tables on the terrasse and 2 guys at the bar. It was always this way even pre pandemic staff shortage. Took a half hour to get any attention, water, order drinks. We had to remind the server about stuff we were missing. Food is below average. Stay away from the subs and calamari. Pizza is ok, but not at the level of 900 or pizzedelic on Monkland or Melrose on Sherbrooke. For good Italian, Casareccia or Amerigo. Check these places out instead. Vetoed again until forced to go there by some bad luck or family pressure.
Waiting service was bad, only one person taking care of all the tables and bar. Ordered a salad to start and got just the stem part of the lettuce and not all the ingredients listed on the menu. Ordered a sangria the strawberry that was in my glass was dirty you could tell it hadn t even been attempted to be rinsed off! The pasta ordered was the Rigatoni Chicken Carbonara, it had only the pasta the bacon and a few chopped pieces of chicken, missing more ingredients per the menu. Overall, bad service from the server, if it s Friday and you only have ONE person waiting all the tables making drinks and doing all that, it s why the service was bad! Food wasn t as great as expected! Place was dirty needing more attention! And don t dare to ask for the Wi-Fi password because you won t get it! Period!!!
Nice decor, but service insistently only in English, no matter what language you use. And the pizza will remind you more of a cardboard box than the high-end pizza the prices suggest. To think that, not so long ago, this place was a place of choice for good Friday night pizza... How times change!
Picked up our pizza. Ready on time. Delicious
Merci !
Good Italian food, with very nice waitresses.
Awful service. No water, waiters are mad at customers and give dirty looks. Food is edible nothing more
I really liked my experience: the decor is very beautiful and original although heterogeneous; brick wall, metal panels, barn wood door, hockey players jersey and huge jars of Nutella! The menu seemed typically Italian to me, but I am not a specialist in terms of quality: my dishes seemed correct to me but nothing more.
Well, eat ok. Noisy but friendly.
Place is great, absolutely delicious food and well worth the price
Ive never eaten here but I can strongly recommend against ordering delivery. I often see their delivery cars driving with the pizzas strapped to the roof, even in cold weather.
Good food but a little on the expensive side
Average service. Went in the afternoon (08/20/2022), we had to ask for utensils after receiving our plates but the waitress did not understand us. Out of 4 people, two of us were missing something from their order, and one was charged for a pitcher of sangria ($28) instead of a drink ($9.50). Reasonable wait time and the pizza was good. I would go back for take out only.
We ordered Arancini, Penne Primevera rosé and the Primevera Pizza ( All veg) but it was yummy. Mac and cheese was ok, no restaurant can go wrong with fries so that was good too, brownie was a bit tooo sweet for our taste. Loved the spicy oil they provided which took our food to a different level like the way we love it.
Good pizza, nice place, however is taking forever to get some food, probably because they take commands and you can see people coming and getting the food boxes while you are waiting and waiting and waiting ...
A scam this pizzeria. I ordered a pizza and fries on doordash, I only received fries really very disappointed never again bacaro pizzeria!! Several friends and family members have experienced this deception.
We were in the Monkland Village and decided to grab a bite to eat. After going up and down Monkland Avenue, we settled for Bacaro Pizzeria. We ordered some drinks to start. I ordered a red sangria and my other half got the blue sangria. Since were we sitting on the terrace, we had the perfect view of the bartender preparing our drinks. She filled both wine glasses with ice to the top of the rim which significantly diluted the drinks. As for the pizza, we ordered the Québecoise which consisted of in-house San Marzano sauce, mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, and bacon. The crust was super thin and the toppings were generous. We also tried the Porchetta panuozzo which consisted of porchetta, rapini, provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, giardiniera, and kalamata olives. I believe the submarine would have tasted better if the bread was toasted and the cheese was melted.
We had been a few years ago and rather enjoyed the dishes and experience. Things must have really gone south during the pandemic, because we had one of the most disappointing dining experiences we ve had in a while. From the beginning to the end, service was mediocre. Our waitress came off inexperienced but more importantly, indifferent. The restaurant was far too slow to merit such inattentive service. Dishes came out one at a time, as opposed to in sync, which is odd, when the place is so slow. No quality checks, no water refills, barely any clearing of dirty tables around. I ll give them massive props for a great gluten free pizza dough, which was oddly considered better than the real thing. Unfortunately we will not be returning.
Late late late and lying to hold driver for take out order
Great place to go with friends. Love going here. Sometimes can be dead empty though which kind of sucks.
The service is very bad. We were a group of 16 and we had made a reservation a week in advance. The restaurant was therefore aware that we were coming. We waited 30 minutes before getting the first glass of water and before the waitress came to take our order. This was only the beginning of our misfortune. As a result, the food took more than 1h30 to arrive. When she finally arrived, several people did not have their plates. As a result, we were not able to eat at the same time. There was even one person in the group who received his starter after the main course. When we asked for the invoices to leave, it took at least 45 minutes before we got them. Additionally, the waitress made mistakes in at least half of our bills. We ended up waiting over an hour before getting our bills. In total, we stayed in this restaurant for 4 hours, of which 3 were the minimum wait. I do not recommend this restaurant. The service is very bad.
This is the first review I have ever made on Google. I ordered from UberEats and requested pasta, and this is the worst food Ive ever had on this app.. Avoid Sunday nights I guess? No taste, its expensive, and it took an hour to get the food delivered. Pizza would probably be a better choice.
Service terrible. Meatballs tasteless , pizza good. Some workers seemed on something, spaced out. Manager at bar drinking could care less about customers. Never again.
Best pizza Ive had in a long time. Our server was exceptional, our food great, the spicy oil is hit but worth trying. Bought a tin of spicy oil. Highly recommend.
Good ambiance and service ! Food is good pizza
We went for a business casual lunch The place was not crowded and not noisy so that suited us The service was fast and efficient The staff was pleasant Food quality was ok too The manager is really friendly
Food and the ambiance was amazing. Staff is friendly.
Good food at the bar for drinks or hockeys games
Horrible place! Service was subpar and the food wasnt as good as the service. Heres the best part, I could get a Bloody Caesar for $9.50 but we got charged $12.00 each for, get this... non-alcoholic cranberry and club soda drinks. TWELVE DOLLARS EACH! We queried the charge, they said thats the price, there is nothing we can do. I will never step foot in to this Bacaro or ANY Bacaro nor would I recommend to anyone, ever!
One of the worst restaurants on Monkland, we ordered pizza which smelled like tobacco and still had cigarette ashes on it. The meatballs and tomatoe sauce tasted like chef boyardee out of a can. If you want real Italian food go to Amerigo across the street.
Always Amazing ...
If youre looking for authentic italian food, you wont find it here.... The quality of the food is not that great and they might need to review their food safety courses because their food made me sick..... Had two slices of their margarita pizza (not even close to a margarita pizza btw) and it was so full of tomato sauce that tasted very off, couldnt sleep at all cause of that and now Im spending my weekend in bed.... 100% avoid
Not as good as delessio, but close
Very tasty, friendly, quick service. I will likely return. Not over priced. The only reason I removed 1 star is because the portion of pasta I received was not very big.
It was our first outing post confinement and honestly couldnt have picked a better place. The staff was super friendly, the manager even came to chat with us and orderdd shots for everyone. The food is exquisite and the vibe is what you need for a good summer night out on a terrace.
Back at Bacaro after well over a year with covid which WAS a very decent neighborhood fare . Sadly no more , service was prompt and friendly but food was third rate. Fried calamari rubbery with coating all falling off it at the slightest touch. Clearly cheap commercial frozen. Lasagna faired no better , low end frozen lasagna judging by the very dark tomato sauce and slimy sheets of pasta all served drowning in plain tomato sauce. The caprese another sad sight hard as a rock unripe tomatoes on top of flat bread with 1 thin slice of fresh mozzarella.
Service is terrible, we didnt have a reservation, although there were several tables unoccupied on the terrasse (they were supposedly reserved) so we sat inside. Next minute a lady without a reservation arrives and asks for two tables and the hostess gives her the same tables that were reserved .Discussing and unprofessional . I only went there since i live in the neighborhood, but never again.
Great service considering, they didnt have a lot of people working but a lot of customers
Good
Just no words describe Except u ahouldnt close the lights if the customer in the washroom
Good pizza and services
Good food.
Excellent treatment and quality
I loved it...good atmosphere...good terrace Okay...
Delicious Sangria !!!
They have excellent bloody Cesars...food is ok. A little over zealous with the balsamic reduction.
Very good pizza and entrees but the Philly Cheese steak sandwich was brutal. Seems like they cooked the steak in some kind of sauce or it was sauteed in mayonnaise but really nothing like a traditional Philly Cheese steak hoggie. Perhaps this was the Quebec version
Very low standard pizza.
Very mediocre. Service and staff were great, the food was very underwhelming. Given the number of italian/pizza places in the area, I would avoid this one.
The food was good. Dont go with an empty stomach because they are short of staff and it takes 1 hour or more for food to arrive
Tasty and cozy
Awful service and average pizza. Special shoutout to the owner who was having shots with the table behind us as I expressed my disappointment about waiting 50 mins for pizza, who then proceeded to respond with this is my first break in 6 hours no apology at all. It is not my fault you have poor time management and don t know how to manage your staff or restaurant. Shocking
Literally ordered from this place just tonight and the food was trash!! The pasta was cold, the ravioli tasted like it came from a can and sadly the calamari was soggy and cold; no seasoning at all. Do not recommend this to anyone especially who come down to visit Montreal. A waste of money trust & believe that
Very good experience. Good welcome, good pizza and good service
ordered a lasagna and a spaghetti last night, most bland sauce i have ever tasted, literally tasted like a can of tomato sauce they sell at the grocery store for 0.99$, no seasoning what so ever, you guys can do alot better, bill was almost $55 delivered, insane price for garbage food, put a little more passion in what you are making, it doesnt cost much to add a little seasoning and it will pay dividends
I have never received such poor service in my life. I ordered the caprese salad and it was advertised as having olive oil and balsamic on it, which is normal. It was brought out with literal salad dressing on it. I sent it back, the server seemed extremely annoyed. I waited almost 20 minutes for the replacement. After about 15 minutes I said look just refund me, I don t have enough time. She then told me she could not refund me. WHAT??!!! never heard of this. Never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. The server also just seemed super miserable and I paid prior to receiving the food because I was in a rush. Lesson learned. I ll never be coming back here. Worst service ever! No manager working. What is happening with this place? Beware.
Good Pizza...Good Atmosphere...I will go back
One of my favorite place to eat an Italian pizza. Very friendly employees.
Very good food. Friendly service. My grandchildren enjoide.
Good Pizza and Beers. Good Vibe! Try the cheese breads. :)
Yummy
*Our server was very nice, sweet and apologetic so this is why Im leaving 3 stars and not 1. **Pizza came with an ingredient that we asked not to be on it. Server was sweet about it and we told her to forget about it, then the owner comes and tried to tell my wife that the eggplant she asked not be there was mushroom PLUS barely apologized. ***My 3 year old son was served juice in a glass that was cracked. I know these things can happen, but this was definitely not dealt with accordingly. Again, the server was nice and changed it immediately, but if I was the owner in this situation I would have run to the table immediately to make sure everything is fine and offer something on the house if not the whole bill. The food is decent (nothing special) but the main thing that needs improvement here is management.
Very delicious pizza and good service! Worth coming back again and again!
Nice place.
Good food portions are good for 2
Service was excellent. Atmosphere really inviting. Pizza crust was too doughy for my liking. Everyone at the table made the same comment
Very nice atmosphere.Good for family and friends gatherings great food
The pizza is so good!
Nice, clean, busy and pricey
I visited this restaurant twice in one week, both with very different experiences, which I would like to elaborate in order for the situation not to happen to others. On Tuesday, I went before the hockey game with a friend, and was nicely served by Erin, who informed us of all promotions ($10 pizzas as well as the drink menu). Walked out of there very pleased. Yesterday, however, was a different story. We were served by Leanne. Dinning was fine. When it came to paying the tab, I noticed that my pizza was not $10. I asked why, and was shocked with the answer. I had to let her know in advance, because the pizzas they make for the discount are not the same as if you were to pay full price. I told her about being there on Tuesday, and how I really enjoyed my pizza, didnt notice anything different in comparison to the one I had just finished, and would like the discount. She said she couldnt reprocess my bill and that I would have to wait 40 minutes for a manager, as there was none on duty at that moment. No manager on a Saturday night? That doesnt seem right... Also, she mentioned that the promotion doesnt run on Saturdays, yet the sign was right outside, with no fine print as to when it runs specifically. All to say, I paid my tab and left. Unhappy with the experience unfortunately this time around, and dont think Ill be going back anytime soon. This was poor customer service at its finest. If I could get back the $8 + tax that was spent uselessly, I would. But I dont think thatll be possible... Therefore, warning to all you students who head there, dont always believe what you see as promos!
The food is excellent!
This place is our second kitchen. Great pizzas, pastas, etc. Love the Nutella fritters! Friendly service. Open during Covid for take out and delivery.
Note this rateing is for the Monkland location only. Overall food was good, pizza and starters were as they always were, shows formulas for food prep work. Salad was overdressed was the only issue with food. Main issue was the lack of service and compliance to covid rules for at the restaurant . Definitely needs more staff, waited 15 min before we asked the manager to get us menus, only to be told to use our phones, as well the manager was not wearing a mask but interacts with customers, tables were not spaced 6 feet apart and all seemed opened. The outdoor dining space as well the tables were not spaced out. The wait staff at the bar as well masks down when interacting with clients. Not impressed overall.
Very good pizza!
Food is always amazing and this restaurant, particularly, is very nice
Super good service, exquisite food and has a sangria bocatto di cardinale./ Super good service, exquisite nutrition and a sangria bocatto di cardinale.
Excellent gourmet pizza, very recommended!
Visited on the occasion of the free Margherita. The pizza is almost Italian, the desserts are very good
Food is ok but it is so slow....
Really great service and menu, one of the things that I enjoy from Bacaro is that they dont have a crazy heavy menu with a gazillion of items, which ensures that the food that they prepare is not only fresh but well made. Salads are crispy and fresh and the pizzas and paninis are truly delicious with everything made in-house. Currently they can accommodate people to dine inside and outside observing every rule to keep you safe, also be noted, if you dont wear a mask youll not be allowed inside, if you have to go use their services note that youll be required to use your mask too! Did I mention that they have great and efficient service? Yeah, that much needed smile and genuine wish to serve and accommodate you on this very challenging times. Thanks guys greatly enjoyed it.
Friendly staff and fast service
Average portions but a bit pricey
Delicious pizza, and very good service. Looking forward to going back.
Just had a nice Sunday lunch at Bacardi. Great service and excellent pizza!
Lasagna and salad is amazing!
Food is amazing and the staff is very welcoming
Food is amazing ! Everything perfectly corrected. Do yourself a favor and try the gnocchi gorgonzola.
Best manager in the world
Good scent
