It s the best pizza in the South West. The pizzas are generously topped with fresh ingredients. The Deluxe Vegetarian Pizza is worth the detour! The best pizza around

Ordered a Large on Xmas Eve,around 530. Didnt have to wait long(25 minutes),and the price was alright(41.68$ for a large half all dressed half just cheese,and a fry,so 46$ with a tip). Only thing was the delivery guy kept messing up the price,like at first he was like 68$, and were like whoa, and hes like no no 41.68......then he tells us its 48$ and we had to show him the receipt. EXCELLENT PIZZA AND GREAT PRICES.

So-so pizza but found what looks like a mouse dropping stuck to the bottom of a pizza slice. Now it could be that, or it could be gunk from the oven that looks like a mouse dropping, either way as a customer seeing that Im convinced its a mouse dropping. Waste of a pizza and an appetite.

Pizza with extra dough in a bun in the center, just like in the good old days. It s less oily than the one we had in my home town, but the idea is there and it s healthier (without being too healthy).

For any west islanders hunting for something like Gigi s in Pointe-Claire, Connie s might have beaten it. The sauce is special, just like Gigi s, and the ingredients are all top notch. For a special touch, the pizza dough is even fried a bit at the edges. I can t believe I found something that rivals many peoples number one pizza spot in Montreal. Nice work Connie s!

Ive been trying to find my go to pizza place in the city since I moved here, and this is it. Generous cheese and toppings and good fluffy crust. The poutine is really good also.

A real local restaurant

Update below - Disappointed. There is a new owner. I ordered the trio two gyros. The recipe is different, there is less meat, the bread seems thinner, there was no onion and a lot of sauce. The fries are no longer the same. Their menu has changed but it is not posted anywhere. The guy on the phone was friendly though. I no longer recommend this restaurant. Edit: I found the onions at the end of the gyros Update: the gyros are better than a few months ago. I loved it.

Fantastic pizza, we enjoyed the meat lovers, Greek, and #2. Even the bambino size is more than 1 meal for a typical adult! Nothing wrong with leftover pizza for tomorrow ! The carrot cake was probably the best carrot cake Ive had... ever. Super friendly service.

the menu is visible online somewhere, the prices, the sizes?? we are waiting for the moment when you are going to sell tips too, to possibly be able to combine several, I hope that the idea is: it should not be a luxury store we only sell wholes.

It s with a sadness that I have to give this review. My wife and I happened to come upon this restaurant by chance when my gps was rerouted and we decided to stop in and grab a pizza to go. The owner Maggy greeted us with a wonderful smile and she was extremely kind. She told us they had the best pizza in Montreal and that we would be in love. Unfortunately it was not the case for us.we ordered a medium Connie s super pizza all dressed with meat sauce pepperoni bacon and red onions. The pizza looked amazing but when we got home and ate some it was quite disappointing. The sauce was very bland and the toppings also had no flavour and the crust was good but thick and heavy. All in all it was at most a ok pizza but that s it. I appreciate the kindness of the owner but at the end the pizza was not worth 32$ and we wish it would have been better

If you want a pizza that will hold you and tell you that everything will be alright, order Connie s.

OMG! Ive heard about Connies for a long time, I wrongly thought it was closed! I just ate the best pizza in at least 15 years! Small, fully stocked.

One of the best in Montreal

The last time I ate at Connies was in 2017 and I was very disappointed because the pizza was too thin, light and expensive. I tried it again in 2023 and WOW! The new administration has worked miracles. A super good pizza, well garnished, heavy and which satisfies my teenagers appetite. Cooked to perfection. The poutine sauce is thick and has a nice strong flavor. I put Connies back at the top of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood.

New rude owner, belittles the old owner constantly on the phone and these are not even good, the pizza lacks spice and taste. As the girl said on the phone, yes, her homemade diced potatoes with cheese curds arent even good.

I wish had taken pics, the calzone was massive!! These guys rock. The pizza we ordered was top notch. Its a bit pricey but oooooh so worth it. They dont cheap out anywhere.

One of the best pizza in town! Edit 2022: I actually tried it again last night, first time after their reopening after some big renovations. I was actually pleasantly SURPRISED by how good they managed to create a better pizza than before the renos! It is way better cooked, the dought was soft inside, but crunchy on the crust, the sauce was even better, and they have added some spices flavours that just made it better. Their poutine sauce was even better, too. Overall, i am crossing my fingers, but it is way better than before, they kept some.of the previous staff, and the new owners are really cool and chatty. For now, I am giving them a solid thumbs up!

Since the restaurant has a new owner the pizza does not taste the same, AT ALL. The sauce isn t as tasty and the pepperoni is off too. The fries are delicious though, major difference from the previous owner who used frozen fries, these are freshly made. Amazing fries. But yeah Connie s was always my go to place for pizza and its a big disappointment.

Steak pepperoni sub has virtually no meat but lots of shredded lettuce. Very disappointed I cant believe Im going to state this but it was better before it got its new branding.

I grew up eating here - it was my favourite pizza. This was the first time I had eaten there since the restaurant was sold and I was heartbroken - it didnt taste or even smell the same AT ALL. We had the pizza with meat sauce and the lasagna - HORRIBLE. This was the only time, in my life I didnt finish food from Connies. The sauce doesnt have the same taste, it seems sweet and the pepperoni is off too. Connie s was always my go to place for pizza, its too bad the new owners made the changes they did - and in my opinion, ruined it.

Ive lived in the area 10 years and a relative had told me that their pizza is bomb. Being not cheap... and having tried it 1x, I do recall that their pizza was excellent. a quick Google review quickly showed me that the owner had left. A week, later, La Presse was writing about this place and mentioned how the Greek owner had come back to make sure the family recipes were passed down properly and would remain around for a few months. I had their pizza tonight and it is BOMB. I was ordering another pizza when the lady on the phone suggested I have the cheeseburger pizza instead and indeed it is also BOMB. She also suggested I have the red potato skin fries which are hand cut daily and boy are they fatty and delicious! I live a 10min walk away so if it gets delivered results may vary. But wow is the sauce incredible, tasty, yum...this is not a chain so if you want quality toppings it does not come cheap but it is the same price as every decent pizza joint out there. Get the all dressed and cheeseburger pizza and fries!

Very ordinary pizza. The delivery service was great however! I was told their Connies pizza (with spaghetti sauce) is much better though, so I suggest you take a pizza with that sauce and not the regular tomato sauce. Food

A few months ago, I ordered a pizza on 2 different occasions. The restaurant was sold and I genuinely tried but the pizza does not taste like it used to be. Sauce and peperoni( a lot thinner) is not the same They made a change to the fries, they are made in store but they are cut too small in my opinion and less crispy. I ordered a submarine later but it was not to my liking. Good luck to them but I wont order from there like I use to be. Staff seems nice though.

Since I am a fan of pizza I heard that the pizza was good. We live in Assomption I decided to go eat a pizza and in fact it is very good its a long way away but it was worth it the detour.The pizzeria has been open for a very long time and I want to thank the waitress who is the oldest and has a great way of serving customers. This waitress is in the right place, we can see that she loves her job as a waitress like Theres not much. Thanks to Connues and the waitress Ill come back another time.

A Montreal staple! I went to this pizza place from stories my dad told me of his childhood going here and eating their pizza, and boy does this place hold up to expectations. The sauce is fenominal ! Crust was crispy and delicious! Toppings were not those average cheap pizza place toppings, these were good! Dont even get me started about the staff? The owner is super friendly and generous on top of a genuine person not, and the guy who made the pizzas back when my dad was a kid IS STILL THER MAKING PIZZAS! So if you want to try a Montreal pizza look no further.

Neighborhood staple for decades. New ownership had some issues at first, but have adjusted to get back to the Connies everyone in the Point loves. New layout means theres no tables to eat in, but the decor has been updated and it seems faster and more efficient. New owners are lovely people with a history in hospitality, so Connies is in good hands.

I ordered a medium all dressed pizza and a portion of onion rings. The pizza crust and onion ring dough were nicely browned and crispy. The cheese was tasty. The sauce was well seasoned. And the pizza had a ball of dough in the center so it wouldnt leak with the box instead of something plastic. I found that it adds a touch of nostalgia. Delivery was fast for Verdun. I didnt see the time passing. My only regret is not having ordered a large to have leftovers for the next day. I would recommend from Connies.

I love this restaurant

As a long time customer(over 30 yes)...it breaks my heart to say this but you I find you over priced and you reduced your portions....and on top of it all u changed ur recipes ! ! ! Connies got got great service all way round from the cooks the cashiers and delivery services. Change the recipes back to why there were before ( pizza sauce the brown sauce the pepperoni) people will heard back to ur well established restaurant and pay ur higher price for some old Connies flavors !

God knows I often write to complain, but now...no!! For the first time, my boyfriend wanted a sub and we highly recommended Connies! He DEVOURED his 14-inch house special and he says its by far the best hes ever eaten! For my part, I ate a Greek salad and I was REALLY given a Greek salad as I like them. Nice portion of feta, a respectable amount of olives, vinegared to perfection! A generous portion that is worth the cost!! (Its boring to comment on salad but order elsewhere and youll see the scrap we bring you) really Connies Ive crossed out more restaurants in 1 year than I have fingers on my hands! ...the service is great! The girl who took my order on April 28, 2021 around 5 a.m., well done!! super friendly despite a rush and thats often what makes the difference! I highly recommend! !!!

Ive had Connies on 3 separate occasions; Firstly the crust; each time the crust was perfect, soft, chewyish, fresh. The first time I tried Connies the pizza was perfectly balanced; I took a pepperoni, and the sauce, to cheese, to pepperoni ratio was on point. The second time I had the same experience. The third time however I was disappointed. There was not nearly enough sauce, there was far more cheese than sauce, and there was an imbalance in the pepperoni on the pizza, some sections had more, others had less. It didnt deter my expectations from this restaurant, I would try it again; getting a good pizza 2 out of 3 times is not justification to say you shouldnt try the pizza; all it means is if you didnt like it the first time, give it another try.

Connies is a small neighborhood joint that makes a bunch of food such as pizza, subs, lasagna, and others. Take-out is very popular. The inside is your basic few chairs to sit at. Its not fancy at all. So about the pizza... Its not a bad pizza, but when you pay 20 bucks for a small pizza (4 slices) ... well, its gotta be better. I was supposed to have bacon on my pizza. Well it was there, but damn hard to find. Street parking only. Not wheelchair accessible.

Only take the pizza (the regressive kind, Greek pizza. very thick and greasy like in the old days). Otherwise, very disappointing choices; I think were trying to save money by cutting quality. I threw away the entire meal (and $20). Rude and defensive phone service. The lady didnt take the time to explain, just repeated my order, almost shouting, several times by way of explanation. A delivery man who is also a very aggressive owner. Once, since I didnt want the bill, he roared with his eyes bulging: do I look like trash?. You have to ask why we work in the service when we are so unfriendly.
