Best pizza in NDG. Montreal style, but with their own twist. The pepperoni is different, not round but long slices. Very good. Even their veggie pizza is very good. The all dressed and smoke meat pizzas are our way to go!

On their website it says latest menu, and a pepperoni jumbo is listed at $24.99. I ordered by phone, went to pick it up was charged $39.50. They refused to give me a receipt... Dont trust the prices on their web site. Pizza was no way near as good as it was when I was a kid. Going to Pizza Welat next time, little farther, but better and cheaper pie.

Rude rude rude owner! Calling me lady instead of Madame and telling me to wait outside for the pizza then sending a customer outside to tell me my pizza was ready. Cash only no exception! No sales receipt either lol someone should advise revenue Quebec that he doesn t give out receipts even if you ask him for one. I was well served and the pizza was good. I went there because my girlfriend lives nearby. The only negative point is that the only way to pay is in cash, cash if you prefer that term, I admit that I would have liked to pay by credit card.

One of the best pizza weve had recently. Meats and cheese, could be hot er. The centre was cold, I find this weird because the crust actually cooked fully. A lot of pizza today the crystal doesnt cook throughout and its gross, this wasnt the case but still cold inside. Old, sparce with few tables, cash only

That sent the wrong thing. I kept calling back as the sub they sent was inedible and NOT what I ordered they then said too bad, they blamed me !! and hung up on me!! I used to order from there all the time. Never again. I spent $26 with tip and that sub is going in the garbage!

One of the few places that makes pizza in the style I recognize as the Montreal pizza of my childhood. Its become a rare thing over the years and for that, its 5 stars. Always generous on toppings (seriously, these are heavy, solid pizzas, you will get full), good sauce, good crust - exactly what is needs to be, and you still get the little dough bun on the centre!!

The pizzas are excellent. The toppings are abundant and tasty. For delivery or to bring. Cash only.

Expensive trip down memory lane. Called and ordered a large pepperoni pizza with 2 Brio s to share an iconic meal with my kids from when I grew up here. The food was great but found $45 a little pricy even though the pie is better than I remembered.

I was told to try out this pizza after moving into the neighborhood. I though it was ok, it was less greasy than some others, which I liked, but I just did not find the ingredients to be very good. I would say that the price is great, it is definitely one of the best deals around, so a good option to feed a large group, just not really to my taste. Note that they only take cash, even for delivery, but I cannot blame that for that, as credit card companies really gouge small businesses, so not an issue for me.

It s a simple pizza place, mostly for take out or delivery. An average of 20-30 min to have your order ready for pickup. I ve never used the delivery service to comment on it. Besides pizza they have other dishes like submarines and pasta on the menu. All the pizza flavours I tried were delicious.

I was excited to try this but was disappointed but how doughy the pizza was ( after 2 slices I was full) and the sauce lacked flavour. I did like the fact that they only accepted cash, so many snowflakes on here crying about how they only take cash.

Just placed an order from them. Have waited close to 1hr and 30min for the food and they are a no show! Tried calling and the restaurant is now closed. I have never in my life had a restaurant just decide they wont deliver and not call us to advise. Absolutely disgusting!!! Recently vacationed in Montreal and had the pleasure of trying the pizza at Pendelis, we ordered two extra large pies with pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper and also a pepperoni, bacon and mushroom, both amazing pizzas! The crust was crispy, the pepperoni was top notch and you could actually taste the mushrooms, we also requested extra cheese on both, which was unnecessary because they dont skimp on the toppings. This was the best pizza weve feasted on in a long time! The price point was exceptional at $45 for both, I cant figure out why we get hosed in Calgary at most pizzerias but thats the way it goes. If youre ever in Montreal check this business out, it wont disappoint.

THE WORST SUBS EVER, I ve been ordering there for years but lately it has gotten progressively worst , and tonight i order 2 subs all dressed, what i got was 2 sub bread and pratically nothing inside and what was in there was burnt. I ordered Pizza from Pendelis thinking I would get the Pizza I used to eat living in Montreal back in the 80s. The Pizza HD absolutely no taste and was overcooked! Unfortunately I was very disappointed!

We ordered an all dressed pizza. Crust thickness was vey uneven. Quality of ingredients tasted cheap. We have had their pizza before and it was alway thick crust, fulled loaded toppings and tasty. Sadly something changed and no one in the family enjoyed it.

I ordered a jumbo pendelis pizza on August 8 2023 at 5:00 and said delivery for 6:30. At 6:45 I called and I was told it will come out of the oven in 15 minutes. The pizza arrived at 7:30 not hot and not cut properly. In the mean time my guests were hungry so I had to make other food while waiting. I called the next day to complain and the guy was soo rude and called me a sir after I told him it was me the lady as he said he spoke too. He did not care and hung up. He even argued that I was a sir. I will never order again and I am posting this on social media.

The authentic greasy Greek pizza full of pepperoni like the one we ordered on Van Horne. Well yes, they don t want to be fooled by bank charges! A very small irritant for a feast like this. Thank you Pendeli s!!!

Best pizza in the city. Never disappoints year in year out. Very generous on the toppings which are all top quality. With todays outrageous inflation, it is also tremendous value if you purchase the 2 medium pies or bigger special at the same time.

Took 2 hours to deliver!! The promise was for 1 hr..maybe 1hr 15. Called twice. Here I am, stuck at home with COVID. I bet they only just made it, since it was still warm on arrival. Lots of meat & dough, but not much else on this all dressed pizza.

I ve been a customer for over 40 years. I ordered an extra large pizza for take out and the cheese was all moldy. I asked to have a credit and the owner told me what to do if it s moldy .throw it out and order another one. WOW great service. Will never eat their food again. They just lost a lot of customers!

The only reason for 1 star is because of delivery called 3:15pm called again at 4:35pm finally got pizza at 4:55pm crust was hard and dry due to the fact that they cooked it knowing that they had to put it on top of oven to keep it hot while waiting for delivery driver to come back and I live 8 minutes away. It would of been better to go by taxi and do the order pick up. Yes compared to 35 years under original owner the service now sucks. The new owner if he was smart would prepare pizza and only put it in oven when his driver is 10 to 15 minutes from store. Then deliver a freshly cooked pizza not a kockey puck.

$53 dollars in cash for a Jumbo with bacon. I found it to be a rip off.

Absolutely not edible. Came in a box that was POOLING with grease (and leaked into our car) The whole dough was covered in grease and wet /soggy from it. We both could not stomach finishing our first slices. Disgusting. 40 $ for a pie that was more of a soup. Heard great things but I will never come back there.

Pendelis Pizza makes their pizzas with the most generous toppings I have ever had, and good amount of cheese too. Love the thick dough and crust. This is a classic montreal staple. The all dressed is amazing pizza definitely a must try. Also be sure to bring cash, because it is a cash only place.

Had a plain, not the best pizza Ive ever had but better than the big chain variety. I found the tomato sauce great but a bit too salty. The pizza was not too greasy which is a plus. Ordered a pick up, the guy on the phone could not have sounded more blasé. They close much earlier than the 11pm listed time, and yes its a cash only place

Really, really awful. Extremely greasy and salty. The cheese tasted cheap and was super thick. Cash only. Probably the only cash only place Ive been to in ten years.

The pizza was salty and the tomato sauce had a weird after taste. went to pick up my order. Asked how much. He played with his calculator and told me 29$. As I was going to my car I realized there was no receipt and he took the change from his pocket. I went back in and he told me that he didnt charge tax. I looked at the menu and the items I bought totalled 27$. So he decided that he deserved an extra 10% or that since he was being nice and not charge tax he was entitled split it with me. I told him the price should be 27$. The man said well if I was going to behave like that he would charge me the tax of 18%. Buddy tax is basically 15%. The quebec government should really look at this place. On my way out, there was a lovely woman working there that told me I should get out of the restaurant otherwise she would use her foot and kick out my teeth.

Simply the yummiest pizza in town. I stopped ordering from pizza hut , dominos pizza or pizza pizza almost 10 years ago .... Once you taste Pendelis pizza , its hard to go anywhere else. Try there vegetarian with extra asparagus and anchovies . My favorite part is they only accept cash.

Sloppy and delicious

Disappointed because this used to be one of the best pizzas in town. Have they given up? No longer care? The pizza was undercooked and sliced by a maniac who shouldnt be allowed near a pizza cutter... is it really that hard to find the middle? The price... well, it seems someone at the counter is crooked, because it wasnt right.... and we werent handed a receipt so we could check it.

Delicious pizza. Greek style pizza, very Montreal prevalent in the 1980s. Legendary place. Great cheese, tasty sauce, thick baked dough with that fresh bakery bread taste. Cash only is important to know as its odd in 2022.

Ordered an all dressed - maybe a sliver of mushroom or green pepper per slice! Cheese and pepperoni are now bland. Used to be a meaty, thick and juicy pizza with lots of toppings - now, not even much pepperoni!

Pizzas great, old fashion greatness , good flavor natural taste, negative reviewers need to know their food before negatively review and whine about something they likely know nothing about besides being spoon fed till their mid-teens young adult years. My main complaint about Pendelis is their delivery service needs to be majorly improved , almost 2hrs for delivery within a 3km radius is unacceptable.

Dough very soggy. Pepperoni has no taste and ordered pizza very thin crust which it wasn t. Also ordered it little sauce which it wasn t. Haven t eaten their pizza in 10 years and probably wouldn t for another 10 years. PRIcing on web site is totally wrong and misleading.

Fantastic pizza old fashion classic Crust, crispy and chewy. Love their pepperoni slices thin and natural tasting. Their poutine is pretty disgusting but then their not known for casse Croute menu , prices are competitive with other pizza joints, the delivery price menu is outdated , you should be paying about 2$ more per sized pizza.

Pizza is always great. Only downfall is no payment by card and no ATM on site.

Our party of four (including two vegetarians) ordered on 12/04/2021 a vegetarian and a pepperoni pizza for pick-up and discovered two pepperoni pizzas in the taped shut boxes, upon arriving at home. Believing a cordial phone call would result in Pendelis correcting their mistake with a home-delivered vegetarian pizza (after all they do deliver), we telephoned Pendelis. The woman who answered the phone adamantly said they would not correct their mistake and deliver to us the pizza we had in fact ordered. We could only ourselves interrupt our celebration, spend more time and more gas money to come to Pendelis with the pizzas we did get, in order to correct their error. This woman repeated her demands three times and she banged the phone down on us rudely. No apology and no attempt to reasonably compensate from Pendelis representative! Think twice before ordering from Pendelis and if you do, have your taped boxes opened and verified before you leave the restaurant! You dont want the disappointment and then nastiness that we all encountered.
