Rotating restaurant featuring upscale Portuguese cuisine & panoramic views from the 31st floor.
What a beautiful place! We reserved a table for a special occasion, treat ourselves 😄 It was a great experience to come here. So cool to have a delicious meal while the floor rotates, then you allow to enjoy the 360 panoramic view of Montreal! We had the tasting fish menu, it’s a little pricey but it’s worth it! The wine was nice ! The dessert was yummy! The service was excellent! Chic ambiance ! We will come back!
Had an incredible meal with unique takes on Portuguese food. We enjoyed every dish! Our server was kind and we loved the views in this 360 degree rotating restaurant. Highly recommended that you visit!
We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary at this revolving restaurant. We chose the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Menu is Portuguese as is all 5 wines that came with the courses. All excellent! Comparable in pricing to other food and wine pairing places but portions and pours are generous. Flavours did not disappoint at all. Our server Antoine was the right amount of attentive. Time just flew by. Fantastic meal, wine and evening!
Phenomenal. If one has the opportunity, please try the 7 course "surprise" dinner. A must have and I am glad we did. Throughout the 7 course meal from the land and sea. I was treated to a marvelous balanced palate of Portuguese cuisine. From start to finish, each bite was an enjoyable and pleasant adventure. One I wish to experience again in the future.
A unique restaurant that should be visited by every lover of city views from the heights. First of all it is the view of the city and secondly and thirdly it is the atmosphere and food. It is an unforgettable experience that will be remembered for a lifetime. The menu is not big but everyone can choose something delicious for themselves, I can recommend all the fish. Here any fish dish is a delicacy. Excellent wine book and a lot of cocktails. But first and foremost are the views of the city.
Didn’t have much expectations based on the reviews but food and service were nice. Prices are rather expensive. It’s a touristy spot with city views, but you’re not missing much. Favorite dish was the filet mignon tartare. Okay to try once in your life, but there are better restaurants with the same price range.
Incredible view with an even better 6 course tasting menu. The swordfish was unlike anything i’ve ever had before. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow and our dinner finished quite late. Overall a very enjoyable experience!
Excellent view, excellent service and excellent Portuguese foods, highly recommend chef choice package, no regret! 2-person seafood package is delicious. 50oz steak is recommended if you are a meat lover.
Unfortunately it wasn t a good experience for us , we went with some friends and spent 700$ , we had to wait one hours for our meal and finally when it arrived the steaks were not eatable )too salty Since we had waited so long to get our meal we didn t want to wait any longer , the waiter brought the bill which included the the staraks that we barely touched , When we asked for a credit for those steaks he went to get his manager who completely ignored the complaint and said they could get another one , which we refused since we had waited already too long (10:00 pm) And we had other plans , very rude manager , no apologies or anything, will never go back there and do not recommend this place
We went for our 10th wedding anniversary wow really magnificent a 10/10 for the services
Overtime the quality of food has gone down. Also a prestigious restaurant like Portus 360 should not have chipped dishes nor stains on table clothes. If you are going for the experience i do recommend but the ceviche was average and the osso buco was ok. My friend had the morue she enjoyed it. The portuguese tartlets is actually delicious.
Delicious menu, great service and the view of downtown is worth it. I liked the option to order a fish fillet of your choice, the seafood rice is generous but I would have liked to see more cocktail options. The caldo verde soup is very comforting when you see the snow falling in Montreal and yes, we rotate 360 degrees in two hours!
The entrees were great! The service is quite nice, that go along with the views! Parking space
Amazing food, picturesque view, attentive service. I am more than glad, thank you!! Food
Terrible service We waited an hour to receive our dishes Varied menu Expensive for nothing
I loved this restaurant, Im going to go back there, thats for sure
Very slow attention, more than an hour to eat
Excellent service from Omar, who wasnt even our server, but whose service was genuine and friendly. He made the experience better! The dessert, crème du paradis, was excellent, despite the powder at the bottom which was not very pleasant. The fried squid starter was not exceptional; I expected better :/ The main course, arroz de marisco, was also a disappointment. It lacked flavor, although the portion was generous I really liked the presentation :). The decoration is magnificent! But congratulations to the team nonetheless!
The waitress was friendly. Unfortunately, there was nothing she could do to compensate for an overwhelmed kitchen. We waited 1h30 before receiving our entry. The restaurant was full. But why accept so many reservations if the chef is incapable of preparing the dishes in a reasonable time? The calamari was no better than the ones sold at Costco. The plate of sweets was ridiculous: $20 for 3 bites the size of a quarter. This is making fun of the customer. In short, dont go there. The view of downtown Montreal is not worth the price. The building at the top of which the restaurant is housed is very ugly and dilapidated. The room is very noisy. The waitress was unable to make recommendations on the very long wine list. Damage. Will I go back? No.
Everyone was amazing. Food was great. Price was good.
Dietary restrictions: 350$ mais la vue juste wow un restaurant qui tourne idéal pour une date en amoureux Food
the food is disgusting and the portions are extremely small
Very nice experience with a restaurant rotating 360° with outstanding views on Montreal downtown!!
Just amazing
Truly beautiful
Wonderful experience! The dishes are excellent (tasting menu), the service is attentive and friendly, and everything gives an impression of generosity, like our friends in Portugal. The view of the city crowns it all. We were happy, thank you! Sylvain (France)
Parking: CAD 16 Food
Me and my partner very disappointed with the food, rack of lamb very small portion accompanied by very few vegetables...a small glass of wine $20 each. The appetizer a margarita served in a small everyday table glass, a colored water glass that reminded me of the church lantern......the restaurant runs very very slowly it probably takes 3 hours to shop around.....I expect when I go to a restaurant with a bill of $320 for 2 without a bottle of wine, to have excellent food, the appropriate glasses for each drink and a more cozy atmosphere. ...tables too close together, noisy...
Everything was perfect, good service and very good food. It worth the price, I recommand
A super restaurant. Beautiful view of all of Montreal, the old town, the Olympic stadium,... Quality meals and service. Original menus. I loved it.
Outstanding food, service and experience. Highly recommend
We did the tasting menu. In a word, fantastic. An amuse bouche. two cold appetizers, two warm appetizers, a main and a dessert. Our server was exceptional. We did the seafood option. I highly recommend this if you visit this restaurant. The fact that it is a revolving restaurant also gives it high praise.
If you want to enjoy a good meal with an incredible view of Montreal, this is the place! You are on the 30th floor and the restaurant rotates, so you benefit from a point of view that changes throughout the meal. We also find the touch of Hélèna Loureiro with gourmet Portuguese dishes, well crafted, typical while incorporating local products. All this with prices remaining accessible, which makes it an unusual destination, very good and not too expensive.
I wanted to please my family, and upon receiving the bill, I chose an amount for the tip, intending to give the other half in cash. But the waitress immediately asked me: Is that all for the tip?! I was shocked, I didnt expect her to ask that question at all. I intended to tell him Id give the rest in cash, but I ended up letting it go. However, she asked me a second time, in front of my family, if I maintained this amount for the tip with a firm face. Is this normal? Especially since the food was not up to par at all, although I had still planned to leave a decent percentage for the service. To top it off, I received a much higher bill than expected because I was offered dishes without mentioning prices, and those dishes were not on the menu. Thank you, Claudia, for ruining my evening and humiliating me in front of my family by asking me if it was all for the tip. Please be more careful with your reactions. They can hurt. Try to understand before judging or asking customers if they really plan to tip more, especially in an insistent manner. To God this restaurant
There were 9 of us yesterday with our young children, and frankly I expected the manager to come and give us a comment about the children screaming and jumping everywhere, but no, they left us at ease! The food is excellent, the servers are welcoming, kind and professional! I highly recommend this restaurant! I would like to thank the young blond waiter who brought me my babys green water that I forgot at the restaurant, it was so appreciated of him! Thank you to all the servers for their patience and courtesy
One of the most memorable meals of my life
Fun experience with a beautiful view. They have good food, but this was more of an experience vs. an authentic portugese meal. If you are looking to plan a special evening, its worth every penny. Food
Very good restaurant, excellent choice of food. Very nice atmosphere. We were very satisfied with our experience and I will definitely come back. I highly recommend trying the pear tasting menu the first time, it has multiple choices and the portions are very good. The panoramic view is phenomenal. Its worth every dollar spent. Best wishes.
Super nice! Amazing service, good experience! Food
The food is a small portion but the view and vibe is good
A place to visit and especially eat because all your taste buds will experience a love story.
I recently went to Portus360 with the intention of having a lovely evening with my visiting cousin. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of the restaurants reputation. Upon arrival, we planned to order several starters to sample a variety of flavors. However, the waiter informed us that according to the restaurants license it was mandatory to order main courses, which we found very strange and inappropriate. We werent interested in the main courses, but we were literally pushed to order them. If the objective was to make us spend more, I would have preferred that this be said more directly, for example with a minimum amount to respect. The service made the experience particularly uncomfortable, especially every time we refused cocktails or suggestions for additions to our order. The waiter looked at us with an expression of disappointment that was becoming more and more embarrassing. Finally, we gave in and ordered dishes, more so as not to spoil my cousins evening than out of real interest. We opted for the seafood rice, but it turned out to be very ordinary: the seafood lacked flavor, the rice was tough and sorely lacked seasoning. A real contrast to the little sweets we had for dessert, which were delicious. On the other hand, we must admit that the panoramic view is breathtaking, which was the only real positive point of the evening. But between very disappointing service and far from up to par dishes, I probably wont return to Portus360. If youre looking for a place to enjoy a nice view it might be worth a visit, but for a nice experience Id recommend looking elsewhere.
Very nice experience, very nice address, impeccable service and a top dinner. Thanks to Claudia for this great discovery and this wonderful evening
Super good! The shrimp was amazing
Vegetarian options: asparagus salads-cabbage soup- tomatoes cereja - potatoes dauphinoises. Kid-friendliness: A 10 yr old did not like the menu except the bread.
Food not good at all! We ordered the seafood dish for two and it smelled so bad and didnt taste good either, all for a $120 dish!! Zero stars for the kitchen.
Was there today for my wedding anniversary. We didn t enjoy it. We left in a bad mood. Their 120$ seafood plate had a very bad smell, we barely ate from it then returned it and told the waiter we couldn t eat it because of the smell he said sorry and this could happen sometimes without any concern from their end, even without the smell the seafood didn t seem fresh and had no taste, their braised meat is okay still not tasty, not sure why they have higher than 4 stars review.
We loved our experience, with the meal, five courses, everything was delicious. Our server Cédric did a remarkable job, he expresses himself very well, knows the wines well, smiling we loved him, There are a lot of employees, and they all do a good job, we see that it is a place that is well established
amazing value at lunch. food is excellent. Sardines were so good. staff was friendly and the view is to die for. the Natas is a must
I forgot to post this review. I very rarely post negative reviews but this experience was insane. My family of 6 traveled all the way from NJ and was so excited to try this restaurant as they are all Portuguese Americans. It took months to reserve. The ambiance is stunning however we ended up waiting for over TWO HOURS for our food. Other tables in our section did the same and after we heard several tables behind us complaining we checked in on what was going on. The restaurant was about to close in 30 min and we still did not receive our dinner. Our server then informed us she put in the WRONG order (which happened to be significantly more expensive than the meal we ordered and told us it was too late to change. We all got up and left without our dinner. They didn t even offer to comp our drinks or one appetizer after hours of waiting to only be further disappointed. Horrible
Good food and nice view. As a family, friends or as a couple, everyone can find what they are looking for.
Small portions for the price . You really paying for the view . Theres way better restaurants like Gibbys
Excellent food, very bad service, very long and pressure sales.
The service is friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and delicious so that is the reason I forgot to take pictures of them, except the desert.
LOUD Our waiter, Emile was a delight. LOUD was due to Saturday night and seated near large NOISY party.
Excellent cuisine! I really appreciated the presentation of the products as well as the care taken in their preparation. The waitress was also very pleasant and gave good advice. I highly recommend this place with its unique view.
Fabulous dining experience! I recommend the tasting menu which lets you taste a little bit of everything. Special mention for the fish ceviche which was an explosion of flavors. The ambiance and service were impeccable.
I have been meaning to rate this wonderful restaurant. Tonight was our third time here and the other two times we went was before Covid and I am happy to say that the service and food remain just as high-quality then as it does now beautiful view with great food and service cannot be beat. We celebrated my brothers 50th here and it s just a wonderful place to Eat enjoy the view celebrate special occasions. Heck, even the bathrooms have a view. Just get the chef choice menu, it is a 6-7 course meal with seasonal ingredients, beautifully presented.
Ordered the menu dégustation and got to taste everything, it was amazing. Spent over 800$ and it was worth it. Our service was excellent thanks to our waiters, amongst who was Antoine.
A high-end restaurant with season-specific gourmet foods. If you are a lover of good wine, meat. Here you will find succulent dishes. I recommend you make reservations since the restaurant is full in high season and there is no space
Had the tasting menu, with dry white wine. Every dish (4 appetizers,2 main and one desert were all excellent while enjoying the view in the revolving restaurant Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate gluten free Parking: Indigo parking at sr-Antoine street
Incredible views and the food and service was impeccable.
Enjoyable 360 view of the city, interesting decoration on the walls (different type of bird of Quebec between the glass panels that look on to downtown montreal). I like the fact that the restaurant included quebec specialties in their menu (local food and portuguese meals offered). I highly recommend the egg tarts. Its the closest egg tarts Ive had since the pastel de nata I had in Portugal. Will come again.
The food and service are impeccable
Excellent Portuguese cuisine, we had the sea tower as a starter then a sea parillada, tender octopus, succulent sauce. The view is spectacular
We were expecting more from this place. Weve tried many Portuguese restaurants in Montreal and all had better food at much lower prices. The minute we walked in, we both had a bad vibe just from looking at the staff from afar. They simply didnt come across as friendly. That could have been because the AIR CONDITIONING DID NOT WORK AND IT WAS 31°C OUTSIDE. Besides the A/C and mediocre food, the views from this rotating resto are amazing. With the A/C not working, we were charged for the water which was at room temperature. When my partner asked for something cold to drink, she was brought a glass of water with ice cubes - we were charged for it. The portions are small, so if youre someone who eats a lot, this place is not for you. The other Portuguese restos weve been to are far better, portion and taste-wise. This is not fine dining, but a fine tourist trap.
Very nice restaurant, the employees are friendly, the food (really good) is worth the price and the atmosphere is incredible :)
It was great, I liked it . I highly recommend Kid-friendliness: There are armchairs for children
Obviously, the panorama is extraordinary, the view of the city is breathtaking. But beyond the view, the food was very good. There were 6 of us and we had the tasting menu. They respected my seafood allergy by replacing the shrimp with cod fritters, but only for me, the other diners took advantage of the shrimp, the lucky ones! A+++ service. Thank you all for this pleasant evening.
As Marie-Claude Lortie said some time ago: We go there for the view... mainly. The place is magnificent. Quality service. The rotating effect is striking, the view and the decor change throughout the meal. However, for the price, there are better places elsewhere. I know that Helena Loureiro is a very talented chef, but here, I didnt feel that quality. Very small portion of cod (cold at that), very simple accoutrements. Creamy seafood rice good, but no special touch. And tasting menu available only if the whole table adopts it. The good idea is that on the daily menu we offer big catches, often to share. So it complicates things when you dont want the same fish... I was impressed, in the dizziness of the restaurant, to arrive at the decor of the kitchen. All these traditional Portuguese casseroles made you hungry. But, well pass next time. Wheelchair accessibility: We were with a person in a wheelchair and it wasnt a problem. Staff were waiting for him at the elevator exit. Thanks for your attention to this topic.
I mentioned that I want the reserved table to be on the glass side. As we came in for the reservation at 8:15, we were taken on a table in the middle. There was so many empty tables on the sides, so we asked why aren t we sitting there? Apparently the sides ones were reserved, but we reserved too?! Then they told us we can wait and there will be empty ones in a bit. So we waiting in the bar below it, hungry. They called us at 9:30 because no one will be entered after that (kitchen closes at 10pm). They said sorry but there are no side tables. We said ok let s just go up. As we went up to the table, we saw so many side tables empty. We did not accept this sorry and try to talk to the manager. Once we mentioned the issue to the manager, the manager directly said yeah why don t you sit in the sides, the restaurant is empty now. EXCUSE ME? Why were the hostesses so rude to us? Why didn t they want us to sit on the sides? Like event at the end?!
I recently dined at Portus 360, and it was an underwhelming experience, to say the least. The food was mostly average, and for the price, it felt highly overpriced. The meat dishes, in particular, were a disappointment, with the meat being served excessively chewy and almost inedible. Some dishes were passable, but nothing stood out as exceptional or worth recommending. To make matters worse, the service was poor. The waiter tried to upsell us by claiming that a building permit required everyone to order a main course, which was an obvious lie and a blatant money-grab tactic. This left a sour taste in our mouths even before the food arrived. The views, which are supposed to be a highlight of the restaurant, are largely obstructed by skyscrapers. What was claimed as a key attraction is very much a disappointment The restaurant was largely empty, with very few patrons around, which only added to the lackluster atmosphere. Overall, Portus 360 is not worth your money or time. With poor service, average food, and obstructed views, there are far better dining options available in the city. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Disappointing taste experience (lack of balance in the dishes, too bland or too spicy) expensive bill, dated decoration, mediocre service (sniffling waiter) Parking: The entrance to the parking lot is not indicated, which is confusing.
5 course tasting menu was sublime ... our main waiter Antoine delightfully engaging, attentive supported by a very professional team. Rotating 360 degrees gave us superb views of Montréal, why we booked. A must if visiting Montréal.
EXCELLENT! AMAZING!
Great experience at Portus 360. The food was amazing and the seafood was fresh and tasteful, the staff were super helpful and nice and the view was just wonderful, we were there around sunset and it was breathtaking.
Superb dining experience at this restaurant. We took the discovery menu and we were not disappointed. The food is excellent, the service impeccable and the view which changes throughout the meal, it was wonderful! I will go back there without fail. Thank you very much for the beautiful evening!
came here a few times and loveee the view, food is good too
Worst service in Montreal, an older waiter gave us the worst romantic dinner EVER! I wanted to order two starters, he tried to force me to have a main course, he snatched the menu from me when I told him I didnt want a main course, he refused me one side to me and my companion while he had a main course, when he understood that we did not appreciate his service he went to see a busboy and spoke badly about us we could hear and see him very good, if I remembered his name I would have said it, but this is the worst restaurant experience I have had in my life, I have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. .. he is a thin old waiter, with a bald spot and glasses. The food is not wow either seriously I advise you NOT AT ALL
The kitchen is OK, but nothing more. We really expect better for the price. For example, the acras definitely lacked seasoning. We also received some sort of starter of tomatoes in oil with cheese, which was quite ordinary and lacked any seasonings. In addition, the quantity of main dishes has definitely decreased. However, the seafood rice was nonetheless very good. The cocktails were very good and the view is truly breathtaking, its really the strong point of the place. In short, its good, but far from extraordinary.
Grilled octopus is amazing.
Magical experience, server named Medhi, great for our attention, I highly recommend. Quality dishes.
This restaurant is incredible, I took the tasting menu at $120 for 7 courses, I have never eaten so well, an explosion of flavor in each dish, a delight for the taste buds, impeccable service Medhi was great as a server, he recommended a glass of champagne and a bottle of delicious white wine then the hostess Sarah who explained in detail each dish she brought me it was remarkable! An extraordinary experience with a magnificent view that changes by the minute since the restaurant rotates on itself! Just Wow I recommend it then I will go back well done!!
Excellent place for parties, events or to introduce foreigners to the city. The food was very good, we tried the tasting menu...I recommend it... Parking: No parking except paid in the building in the basement or in front of the building, i.e. 17 dollars. The restaurant could offer its customers parking, thats the minimum!!
The restaurant is located in a hotel identified as a Student Accommodation Center. Apart from the magnificent view of downtown Montreal and the particularity that the restaurant is rotating, it could do with a refresh, at least in terms of the chairs at the tables (at our table of 6 people, they were all stained). The service and food were good but the bill high considering the experience.
For a culinary experience with a remarkable view. I recommend this place.
A big surprise awaits you. If you are not aware, you will discover the magic of this 360° restaurant which lives up to its name. I wont say more to avoid spoiling this particularity which makes it so charming. As for the service, everything is particularly well-oiled, with diligent, fast service and lots of attention and sympathy. Portugal naturally invites itself onto the plates with a Chef in the kitchen who respects traditional recipes and leads a motivated team to produce remarkable dishes. The colors and flavors of the South-West of the Iberian Peninsula with the salty notes of the Atlantic Ocean are particularly respected. A magnificent place in every way!
In general it was a nice place, with a very nice ambiance. However, i expected better from the service. I requested a different table for my family two times and i was told they had no space, however the restaurant was half full. Parking: Difficult to find parking.
It was the best of the best, chic, clean with good food and a breathtaking view Kid-friendliness: Not really suitable for young children
WOUHOU, ITS OPEN AGAIN ON LUNCH HOURS! I could not be happier to enjoy this excellent Portuguese cuisine during my lunch hour. They have a 2-course lunch menu which is perfect to try some great offerings that are not on the classic menu. Always attentive to adjust to a quick or relaxed service depending on our available time that day. LOVE this place!
Probably in the top 5 of the best restaurants in Montreal. The food, the service and of course...The View
Dont change the asparagus salad recipe. :) Just the martinis could have been better, I think you need to revisit how to make them right. My mother enjoyed the sirloin. THANKS
Nice idea of turning the inner floor. By the time you finish the meal, you get full 360 degrees. Took Tasters menu for two of us and 3 drinks rounded to $360. Food is delicious and well presented. Loved it. Food : 5/5
I visited this establishment with friends. Me and my partner opted for a dish from the menu: dish for 2. We took the time to ask the server if the dish chosen was enough for 2 or that only one person could eat this dish. His response was: only big eaters could eat this dish alone. When our dish arrived on the table, all our friends stopped talking when they noticed that the plate was empty. I am a man of a normal proportion of 170lbs who has no particular needs due to physical training (I am normal) and I alone could have eaten 4 times the content of what was served to us during of a normal meal. Dish chosen: sea bass (fish). Opt for another restaurant.
An incredible place with a panoramic view of the city of Montreal. Portuguese cuisine with incredible culinary art, we ordered the tasting dishes and they were all exquisite with first class taste and decoration, the relentless service of everyone who served us and specifically Antuan with an incredible charisma that makes the stay more pleasant and an understanding of everything he brought us. I really recommend this restaurant, make sure to visit it, dont miss this experience. thank you
Great place to dine. We went with 10 colleagues. It was an amazing experience.
Exceptional service! The tasting menu was delicious. I loved my experience. I highly recommend
Pleasant time spent with family. Impeccable welcome, service too except for the cutting of the fish in front of the customer which was not very conclusive but everything was very very good. The setting was impressive and what an experience to have a different decor throughout the meal as the platform rotates every 20 seconds THANKS
This place was amazing. Our waiter Antoine was incredible, very pleasant and knowledgeable on the menu items. Had the tasting menu with the seafood and meat. Personally could have done without the meat. The Halibut was by far My favorite followed along with the octopus. Definitely a winner! The view of the city of course is an extra additon that brings this restaurant ad atmosphere together
Really too expensive for the quality, I can understand the price of the rent, but for the rest
A great option for those who loves sea food with a nice experience of a 360° view of Montreal downtown
A good experience, the view is amazing and atmosphere is relaxed. Our waiter was attentive and kind but service was a bit fast for my taste. The food was good, well prepared and well seasoned but for the price a little extra effort could be made on the side dishes like the potatoes and vegetables. A great wine list. All in all i would recommend for a night out.
Celebrated my first anniversary with some delicious food with a beautiful view of Montreal. I tried the sea food rice and did not personally love it, however my husband enjoyed his Portuguese beef.
A very nice place, dinner was excellent
Being portuguese, Im very proud of my origins stepping in this establishment. The food, the atmosphere, and the service represent the beauty and complexity of Portugal. Valter played a huge part in this experience and made the our time there 10 times better than we imagined. I will 100% recommend this restaurant as a great representation of my country and its delicious food.
Went out for my Valentine s date and ordered the special menu for the valentines 6-course meal. It was absolutely delicious and I was pretty full by the end. My favourite courses were definitely the ceviche, meat and the cutest and tastiest desert. Can t wait to go back!
Excellent
Amazing view, amazing food, amazing service. A bit on the pricier end but you get what you pay for, an overall great experience. Calamari app and seafood rice were my favorite.
Food was bad. When I mentioned steak was raw, it is taken away and given back to me few seconds later with some extra fire on the exact same piece of meat which was still impossible to cut and even more impossible to chew. Nothing was exceptional and the quality of the food, the cut of meat and everything is far below the quality youd get for this price range.
Well, during the 4 days no one answers your call, I couldnt get a reservation with but if thats the attention, everything else is superfluous.
Amazing seafood Large wine selection Good cocktails. Best view in town. Quite an experience Although the fish is good it can be quite pricey
See foods are best.. Delicious..
Great place for lunch and supper. Great place to take people from out off town. Unique experience. Food and service excellent.
Very beautiful setting, beautiful atmosphere, attentive and professional service, delicious and refreshing food! The daily specials and the tailor-made formula are definitely to be favored to make the most of the experience.
The attraction of the restaurant is the view of the city center . For cooking, its good. The octopus starter was good but the lamb chops were excellent. This starter was the favorite of the meal. For the main meal, the creamy rice with fruits and seafood and my braised short rib were good but nothing more. Impeccable service.
Beautiful view. Excellent service, and great food
Great views, good service and good food.
Front reception hostess needs customer service training. Rest of team and management handled well. Thank you.
Service was amazing, a kind and respectful waitress. The view is spectacular. Food is above good, but nothing exceptional (except for the desserts that are crazy good).
The entire experience was great. Went for a date night and couldn t have been happier. The tasting menu was delicious and the wine suggested was perfect.
Small portions but delicious food
I love octopus and this one was very very salty in the seafood plate... a little too much... but otherwise everything was delicious. The cod croquettes were nothing exceptional but the asparagus salad is worth mentioning. Refreshing and delicious. Sweet desserts to try. Divine and light. We did 360° in 2 hours, the time for our meal. It was perfect. Magnificent view, even in rainy weather, with markings on the windows. Impeccable service.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Portus 360! The view over Montréal at night is absolutely breathtaking. The seafood and fish dishes were fantastic, however I do wish they had more meat and/or chiken options on the menu. Overall, a great place to dine with stunning views!
Served by Antoine, super nice, he really loves his job and he has a lot of experience! If you are lucky you will be served by him!
Excellent service from our server Antoine! Small inconvenience regarding the bill, but it was completely innocent and we were a large group so it happens. Also this is not my type of menu regarding the dishes offered, but that does not detract from the impeccable service of dear Antoine and his colleague (I unfortunately did not take his name).
I give it a three star because we were disappointed in the serving for two people of the sea food dish. The pan was not even half fool each person should have gotten a sea food platter. That was not enough for two and the sides were a joke not even enough for one person. To expensive for what we got served.
Very nice place with 360 view. Very polite and attentive staff. The only negative point on my side is the very limited options on the menu. Otherwise the food is also very good. Food
My experience at Portus is very uneven. Of course, the panoramic view at the top of the 30th or 31st floor is very beautiful. The atmosphere is also pleasant. As for food, we opted for the tasting menu at $125 (plus tip) because we were a group of around twenty people. The tapas and desserts were good, but nothing memorable. The braised beef was disgusting. Too much fat in this small piece of meat and I had doubts about the freshness of the meat. And it was unanimous around my table. For the service, I would have given it an excellent rating if it werent for the following incident: at the end of the service, the waiter told us that we had to pay for 15 bottles of water at $7 each. ... Eh???? So the water that the waiters served us was loaded? In addition, the number of 15 bottles (around 1.5L) seemed greatly exaggerated to me. Its a shame, because I really loved the service before this incident. Since we expressed our disagreement, the water was not charged to us. In short, I recommend going to this restaurant for a drink and some tapas, nothing more. To go with safe because at this price, its unfortunately not worth it.
If you are looking for a decent place to eat, I would really recommend to go somewhere else. This place is a ripoff. The steak tastes like trash. The lady who served us is just like a student doing a part time job. She even got mad and argued with me for giving 10% tips. No one should spent 100$+pp and be treated like this.
This is a beautiful restaurant, offering an excellent service, exquisite dishes and delicious wine. We reserved a few days in advance, a table for two, near the window. The waiters were very professional, calm and helpful. We, unfortunately, got seated right next to a big table of 6 people: they were making a lot of noise which made it difficult for us to hear one another. The evening went on smoothly once they left. That is a tiny detail compared to the experience of the dinner room doing a 360 spin in over 2hours. You can barely feel yourself moving but within a few minutes, the view of Montreal city is already from a different angle ! Expect the menu to be pricey - it reflects the quality of the products, the overall atmosphere and the perfect service. I would 100% recommend this place, it s a beautiful wink to the traditional Portuguese dishes.
Ambiance and food are good. Service is Top Notch. But the fact that the resto rotates around Mtl was another story and experience for someone who didn t know that.
Really cool spot to have a dinner and see the city from above! The service staff was excellent! Our favourite dishes were the garlic butter shrimp appetizer, it was outstanding as well as the Paradise Cream dessert. We also liked that the calamari wasn t over-breaded. Our mains were decent, but nothing too memorable. A great experience. Highly recommended!
I was treated here for my birthday and this was the first time we ve been to this place. The food was gourmet and the service was impeccable, warm and friendly. We had the nicest waiter one could ever ask for. So on top of all this the view was out of this world and to die for. We shared the calamari appetizer and each ordered the steak-beef dish. We also ordered dessert. This experience was so beautiful, that we actually ordered another coffee just to sit there a little longer and enjoy the view. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is a perfect place to take out-of-town guests as well. thank you to the staff at Portis360. I ve included pictures at night of the view inside and outside. Parking: There was a good parking lot across the street.
very fresh and tasty food. I would recommend to anyone. It is a bit pricey but so worth it!!! Felt like a tourist in my own city!!
A total disappointment! I invited my partner there for his birthday. It looked like someone had quickly set up a table for us. We ordered calamari, it was the worst I have eaten. However, the rack of lamb was not bad. The service was terrible, our waitress was running around, the bread and oil to snack on which are normally served first, arrived during our dinner. The atmosphere is worthy of a canteen. Apart from the view, I dont recommend it!
Excellent restaurant, beautiful view and good food!
Ford was so fresh high quality and delicious the waitress was so kind and helpful I liked every single thing in that place They deserve five stars.
September 2023 5* Visited the place for business dinner. This place is quite popular so you need to make reservations in advance. This is my second visit. There are lots of high rises around the restaurant now but still you can see good skyline. It is the revolving restaurant and you can see skyline changing for you. The food is amazing and staff is really helpful. It is offering Portuguese cuisines so there are lots of options with meat. I am vegetarian so the staff prepare special meal. I loved the salad with nuts, Brinjal and Risotto. The place is accessible and you can use elevator. Washroom are accessible.
The waitress said they have special course for the whole table of 4 of us so we choose that whiteout asking any price. The bill was almost 600$.They have to give more information about this special course of chefs choice. Plus have that in the menu with the price. Was tricky special 600$ for 4 person.
Thank you Valter for your amazing service!!! I hope I wrote his name correctly. We went there for my boyfriends birthday and we were amazed by the place, the food, the service. Everything was so magical. We took the degustation menu and loved every bite of it. 10/10
I love ports
The steaks are way overcooked (ask for rare and it happens with the sole of the boot), overcooked lobster, overcooked fish... Very very disappointing and not recommended.
Great views of the city, great service and a generally pleasant ambiance. The starter: the Caldo verde was delicious. However, my meat was charred and tasted bitter. Overall the dish wasnt very good. The dessert was ok, it helped eliminate a bit of the bitter taste of the main course. We have come on other occasions and had some disappointments, we miss the quality of the old Portus Calle.
We were a group and had the tasting menu. What a great discovery! The restaurant was full and the service excellent.
The servers are friendly and the food is very good.
Superb experience at Portus 360 starting from the service, the dishes and what about the breathtaking view, especially at night. The perfect restaurant for a romantic dinner. We had the cod plate and the creamy seafood rice. Truly DELICIOUS. The restaurant takes around 2 hours to do a complete tour. Plan to arrive early for parking and traffic around the hotel. Superb experience at Portus 360, from the service to the food and what can I say more about the breathtaking view, especially at night. The perfect restaurant for a romantic dinner. I loved my night at Portus360. Our waitress was so gracious and she was a wealth of knowledge. She recommended the tasting menu and it did not disappoint! She even helped us choose the best wine to pair with our food. I honestly loved the vibe, it wasnt too noisy, but it had a great buzzing atmosphere. Great place for a date night, business meeting or even just getting a few drinks. In the age of Instagram restaurants, its nice to go to a place with a longstanding reputation and an enjoyable crowd. I will definitely be coming back, cheers!
Delicious. Smaller than expected dessert portions
Waiter attentive and very responsive, very beautiful view and good meal. I recommend .
360 view over Montreal. Good location near the old Montreal. You pay for the view, the food is good but not worth the bill. Nevertheless the whole experience is very good as a tourist willing to discover Montreal.
Beautiful view. Great food. Great selection of appetizers with lots of vegetarian options.
We ordered the four course sampler, which was delicious. Roman was our waiter when we visited the restaurant, and he was very nice. Everything was cooked perfectly. The food was amazing, and we had a fabulous time at this spot. Very fancy too.
Last night, October 28, 2023, I went to Portus 360 for the second and last time. I wanted to offer a beautiful souvenir of Montreal to a family from China. It hurts my heart to give this opinion, but perhaps the employees will take it into account. Right from the start, after 30 minutes the waitress offered us the menu explained it in 10 seconds! and left straight away. We remained lost, without having the chance to ask any questions. In the soup, I found a piece of husk. The chorizos were spicy to the point of being impossible to eat. Note: I eat sriracha hot sauce on bread, so when I say hot, I mean TOO MUCH! for anyone. In addition, the texture of the chorizos was not at all like on my first visit, this time it was ground meat which must have looked like chorizos. The sweetbread was more of a soup, because there was water in it. This is the first time Ive eaten liquid rice. The water cup was dirty, very dirty! There were traces of coffee, lipstick... At the side table there were 2 servers for 2 people, at our table there were no servers for 5 people. All evening, we had to look for the waitress so that we could have a nice evening: wait for the menu - 30 minutes, water - 20 minutes, starters - 20-25 minutes, bread - served after finishing the starters , oil or butter-15 minutes, main meal - 30 minutes, addition- 20 minutes. Another server helped us with the bill. So, we stayed at the restaurant for over 4 hours, but we ate for barely 1 hour, all other time was spent waiting to be served. During my first visit, he had an incident too, but I always give it a chance, because its human to make mistakes. I still feel like we were just ignored all night. I made a comment at the end because I was so embarrassed by this family from China. I just wanted the evening to go well, without conflict. Conclusion: the restaurant is running, its beautiful, its interesting, but... nothing else. And yes, as I saw in another comment, the dishes seem like an empty plate that has something on one side.
Obviously the view around the city is amazing, the food is great but nothing extraordinary especially for the price.
Very good food and service by Marion!
Excellent meal in the context of MTL à table 2023. Breathtaking view but above all excellent service from Mr. Valter and his colleagues. Good advice, efficient and courteous.
It was our first time at Portus 360 and we chose the tasters menu. The waiter & staff were excellent both with explanations & through multiple services to dessert. The wine pairing for each dish was varied and perfectly complimented each dish. We would highly suggest you have the pairing if you select the tasters menu. The ambiance is great and relaxed. We were very satisfied & enchanted with our evening. We will be back! Dietary restrictions: The waiter took all our dietary restrictions into consideration and adapted our tasters menu. Parking: You have to find your own parking.
The food was absolutely delicious, great and friendly service and what an amazing view. It was my first time and definitely will not be my last.
We made the reservation following a suggestion that our tour guide provided to us and definitely it was a wonderful experience. All the dinner was delicious and the service offered by Nathalie was exceptional. The 360 view is amazing which makes the experience more spectacular. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent experience as part of MTL à table. Part of the bill is definitely for the view, but wow what a view. Excellent meal, good wine selection, excellent service.
Perfection from beginning to end. Arrive 15-30 minutes earlier than your reservation so theres no waiting. The servers are so pleasant and attentive. I cant remember the waiters name but he had blonde hair and a great smile from ear to ear. He explained the menu to us Americans and gave great suggestions that did not disappoint! All of the food was delicious but the sauce accompanied with the lobster tail is packed with flavor that you cant even identify. I wanted to drink it! The ambiance is stunning with all of the city lights. As you pass certain windows they list what youre looking at. I took a beautiful picture of the biodome. The prices are reasonable for everything included; food, service, ambiance. I highly recommend for any tourists and for locals looking for an experience or romantic night out. Tell my future husband to propose to me there Vegetarian options: My friend asked for a basic salad that wasnt on the menu, they did not hesitate to make.
Beautiful revolving restaurant with panoramic views, good food and impeccable service. However, as soon as we sat down at the table, my friend noticed large traces of lipstick all around the glass of water! Noises of broken dishes on 3 occasions during the evening MTL table menu at $83.
Superb warm place with a superb view and service thank you.
Food was good Tasty n well presented Quality was good Service was mediocre at best. Had to keep asking for water They served us spoons for the cheese platter Had to them ask for forks Had to ask for knife Waitress actually asked if I was done eating my food while I was literally eating my food? Waitress came to take order and realized she forgot her order pad and ran to go get it and ran back to our table she ran! Other than that , the view was beautiful. Spectacular it was full moon I guess that s what you are paying for, the view. Celebrated my sister in laws 50th. Birthday, let the manager know and he said they would do something special ..they put a candle in her dessert. No complementary dessert nor a drink for the birthday person. 4 people 4 main dishes 3 starters 2 drinks 2 beers 2 coffee 1 tea 3 desserts Cheese plate 400$ before tip 470$ tip included. It was a nice experience. Thx. Parking: 16$ convient
Business dinner with clients. I really didnt know what to expect, my past experiences with revolving restaurants have been mediocre at best, but I was happy to learn that this place is an offshoot of Helena, a well established Portuguese restaurant in town. As much as I didnt feel comfortable with the stuffyness of the overall atmosphere - it felt like those formal dinners on cruise ships - the service and food made up for it. Some members of our party have dietary restrictions, and the waitstaff took great care of them, and all of us as well. The wine picked from the impressive list of Portuguese private imports was perfect. I had the cod croquettes, they were good, nicely presented but I would have liked more dipping sauce. The seafood rice platter was very generous, and the sauce was spicy and flavorful. I wasnt really hungry for dessert, but Im glad I tried the natas, they were probably the best I ever had, buttery and creamy and delicious. Great place to take your boomer relatives for their definition of a fancy dinner, but with an added bonus that the food is actually good . Dietary restrictions: They have options for people with restrictions (gluten, nuts, pork, etc.), and the staff take extra precautions if required. Parking: Not easy to park on the street, there are a few parking garages but quite expensive. Its a short walk from Square Victoria or Bonaventure metro.
We received very good service for our holiday meal. Thanks to the staff. The place is pleasant and the food is delicious although I would have liked my short rib a little less fatty. The rotating view of downtown Montreal is spectacular.
Very good
Great restaurant for a first outing! The view is magnificent, the service impeccable and the food delicious. We chose the tasting menu that the waiter offered us: 4 starters, 2 main meals and a few desserts. Wow! Everything is well balanced, including the portions. A real pleasure for the eyes and the mouth!
Fantastic atmosphere and great service. Would recommend to everyone Food
a fabulous view and above all a remarkable cuisine
Very nice restaurant
