351 Laurier Ave E, Montreal, Quebec H2T 1G7, Canada
Restaurant chaleureux au coeur du Plateau. Un classique Montréalais.
Gosh! I can only say kind things about this place. Portions and price were fantastic. We needed to have some poutine while we were in town and this was definitely the spot to do that!
Excellent poutine! I went with the classic since it was my very first one. Good fries, squeaky cheese, well-seasoned sauce and no insane wait times… what else could you ask for? Our server was friendly (in English and French) and efficient. Will definitely visit again if in the area again.
Chez Claudette is such a delightful spot and truly a must-visit for any foodie in Montreal! The charming exterior welcomes you inside, where you'll find a menu filled with delicious and super affordable comfort food classics—from hot dogs to hamburger steak to lasagna. But let’s talk about the real star here: their poutines! They serve up the best poutine ever, with crispy fries, rich savory gravy, and just the right amount of cheese curds. It's a dream come true for poutine and fries lovers! I couldn’t resist trying the "Grilled Chicken" poutine topped with bacon, along with a fluffy egg omelet, and oh boy, it was absolutely heavenly! The portions are generous, too, without breaking the bank. The service is fantastic, and the dining area is clean and spacious, making it such a pleasant experience. If you ever find yourself in Montreal, you absolutely owe it to yourself to stop by. I can't wait to go back on my next trip!
Perfect spot for a late evening meal that will put you to sleep soon after. Chez Claudette is a classic institution for a heart-warming poutine that will absolutely melt your face off. Their sauce contains whole peppercorns that add a lovely kick with every other bite.
I came here at the recommenion of some local friends and I totally loved it. Very nice ambiance and service. The menu has so many choices but their star dishes are the poutines. I took the Celine ones and they were very good. My advice is to take the small portion beacuse it is enough to feed a person no matter how hungry they are.
Food was decent but I don't think they are a big fan of tourists. Which is weird since Montreal is a tourist spot. But I'm sure they're well known in their area and could care less if tourists come to their restaurant or not. We came from Vancouver, B.C. and were recommended this place by our friend as a spot to go to. We came in and the server barely acknowledged us. Sat us down in the farthest corner and wouldn't even want to talk to us. Food was decent, but service was so bad I actually regret going there. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever.
Let me start by saying , Bob was great and service was amazing, BUT, good wise, not the greatest, sitting outside on the balcony in the rear, AC’s HOT air was blowing and it was a sauna, very uncomfortable to a point that you just want to devour your food and leave, DO NOT go on a hot day. So coming to the burger, 🍔 the bread was old and smelled funny, meat was good. Putin wasn’t the greatest but its edible, I’m not being rude, I’m just laying it as is to not have high hopes, its average Quebec food . Again, service was great, if not from the 2 servers , we would have walked away. I would have given 3 stars but just for Bob and the service I’m giving 4 ⭐️
Was looking forward to having poutine here as it was on the top 10 list. There was only one lady working the tables and take out orders. We were seated relatively quickly but it took a really long time to order. We ordered the classic poutine and also the smoked Meat poutine. Overall it was decent but not amazing. The gravy could have been hotter to melt the cheese curds. They forgot our drink order but they took it off the bill. They definitely need more than one server and not take customers for granted.
Sadness I didnt know this place and very unfortunately had the regrettable idea of bringing my son there for his birthday What a disappointment!!! Everything disappointed us! Firstly, it was as cold inside as outside, I wanted to put my coat back on Then, the menus I say to my boy: yakkk! There s a hair in my menu!! And since it is inserted under the protective plastic, it will never have the chance to fall and all the other customers will see it too!!! Really, its not starting well at all! It cuts your appetite My son tells me that he too has a hair in his menu and we look at each other with a perplexed and a little sad look Next, the waitress asks me if I want my burger all dressed, I ask whats in it and the answer is mustard relish. Hmm if it s not all dressed what is it?? Two dry bread? I tell him I dont want mustard, but I would like mayonnaise. So, no ketchup in all dressed??? Ok I get my burger without mayonnaise, just relish :/ The poutines we received were not appetizing the fries were soft and oily, not hot and tasted rancid! Wow!!! The viscous and almost cold sauce the cheese, very good As we had taken trios, fortunately the poutines were small! Because having had a big poutine, the disappointment would have been even greater! I wanted to add pepper to try to hide the mediocre taste of my poutine, but I did it wrong!! The pepper shaker slips out of my hands because its so oily! Absolutely disgusting!! Nothing wants to come out, since the grains are too big for the holes! So I opened it and what was there could not be identified by either my boy or me, but it looked more like ground bark than pepper! substance difficult to recognize, but one thing is certain: no taste of pepper! Doesnt look like pepper either! In conclusion, their poutine is abject. How can you fail a dish that only has 3 ingredients!!??? At least if it had been served hot but no The burger meatballs were fried, you would have thought they were deep fried. In summary, I felt very bad for bringing my son into this hole :/ I felt obligated to apologize to him. We left there having barely eaten, but we gained a heartache! Very bad experience and no, we will never go there again and we will certainly not recommend this place to anyone
We stopped into Chez Claudette to try their highly recommended poutine. With no shortage of options on the menu, we did our best to navigate it with our limited French since there wasn t an English menu available. We ended up ordering the smoked chicken poutine. While I would ve loved to get more adventurous, my partner prefers to stick to the basics. The food was okay. The gravy was flavorful, and the cheese curds had the satisfying squeak you hope for, but the chicken was just average, and the fries were softer and soggier than we would have liked but the prices were reasonable and fair. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a casual pizza or Italian takeout spot, nothing remarkable, but clean enough. Service was average as well
Waiting so long, its been 30 mins, havent had my poutine. Not very efficient here for a quick bite
Intense poutine, and family vibes
Without being too hungry, we chose a large Jardinière poutine to share between 2 and we enjoyed ourselves! Fast and very friendly service :) I recommend for a first poutine in Montreal!!! Vegetarian options: Several choices
basic poutine (7/10) and service is bare minimum (no follow up, no smile). Empty on a friday and im not surprised. Prices are good for what it is tho.
I asked the waitress if the burger was homemade, but she pretended not to understand my question, saying she had never heard such a request. Finally, she replied that yes, it was homemade. However, I was with five other people, and we had our doubts, because the burger clearly tasted like industrialized meat, far from fresh. So, not a good experience for me.
Claudettes? . Is the place worth the detour? Not particularly but if you are in the area and you are hungry for a poutine why not! Unpretentious and friendly service, honest poutines that are quite generous, old-fashioned decor that is part of the experience. Be careful, the veggie sauce is less tasty and more liquid than the traditional sauce, for vegetarians, the option remains interesting. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian poutine sauce
Undercooked fries, raw potatoes, good cheese but not much, ok sauce. Cook your fries at the price we pay
A great place for brunch. Service was excellent but we had a bit of trouble because our French is practically non-existent. Could not tip at the end because of the rush and my partner is feeling intense guilt because of that.
Super friendly server! Have a good snack!
A great 100% authentic poutinerie Vegetarian options: Several veggie poutines
Excellent restaurant offering delicious and generous poutines. Very good value for money. Pleasant and friendly waitress. I recommend!
Had such a slutty little poutine here the other day was so gorgeous. I had 6 in one week once and almost transcended x Wheelchair accessibility: You only need one out of the place cus your done after eating one of those bad boys
Great poutine. Huge and super good portions. A must do!!
For me, the Poutine was incredibly good! So I can really recommend this place. Service is ok. Don t expect to much kindness, especially when your not a local
Spaghetti served no bread glass of hot water there is no ice and liquor served with plastic glass service crap the waitress gives us a table she waits the thing places nothing and arranges you dont try this restaurant total disappointment you want to be disappointed on all these places
Worst poutine in Montreal, too much sauce, not enough cheese and the sauce is bland. In addition, the pulled pork was also dry, bland and stuck to the teeth. Very disappointing.
Great poutine!!
Quite chanmax in real life
Vegetarian options: Il y a des poutine végé Food
Favourite breakfast place in all of Montreal. Love it
Excellent poutine, the plate is very generous. The setting and atmosphere is very warm as well as the waitress being very kind and smiling. The prices are also very affordable. I highly recommend and we will return there before returning to France
You cant come to Montreal without going through there. Traditional, simple and high-quality cuisine. Excellent value for money!
Fun, clean, fast. Good prices. Parking: You never know if youll find a parking spot specially with all the constructions all around. Food : 4/5 |
We cannot call this place a tourist trap because the promise is kept: poutine for all tastes! Generous plates, largely acceptable prices, good service. However, poutines remain more fast food than well cooked (and frozen fries).
Of course, the poutines are cheap... However, we didnt ask for extra. Indeed, cooks do not wear hairnets. Everything is sticky, from the table to the menus. Smell of sewer in the room We enjoyed our previous visit but we are disappointed this evening and we will not return.
A Montreal institution. Nothing less. I hadnt been there for a few years... and what a nice way to reconnect with the famous restaurant on Laurier! I arrive when the doors open, on a Monday, 4:00 p.m. sharp, am greeted warmly, take a seat at a table, receive a glass of water, order and receive my dish barely 6 minutes later. That s service! The portion is frankly generous and I am surprised by the quantity and size of the pieces of cheese curds (very good quality, by the way). But with a poutine, the sauce is what makes all the difference and Claudettes deserves a grade of A. I hadnt eaten all day and I had difficulty finishing my plate because the portion was so large ! The service is impeccable and the people who work at this address are very kind, courteous and friendly... and I would even add funny in some cases! Positive experience. I wont wait years to come back here.
It is, what it is. Soggy fries with stuff.
Its a legendary place but the toppings on the poutines are really not good, the galvaude tasted like canned pea water
I did not receive good service, the waitress was unpleasant and my ham and cheddar pancake was with kraft cheese I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Best poutine Ive eaten in my life. Best poutine IN QUEBEC. Wow.
Very cozy place, amazing food, quick service, adequate prices, the waitress takes care of you as if she was your grandma. Was able to find a spot without having to queque. Sincere recommendation!
Terribly disgusting
Try the ( Quebecois) . Being from Niagara in Ontario, we were looking for more of an authentic poutine that locals would eat. Parking was difficult to find, but the neighborhood is charming and safe. Worth the walk The food Best poutine I have ever had. It wasn t a plate of gravy/cheese/fries. You can get that there, but they offer 2 pages of poutine options. Featuring local favourites. The ( Quebecois) is chicken, bacon, mushrooms , fries , cheese curds, with peas sprinkled on top. Not overly salted, just right, hearty, somewhat healthy and delicious. 5 stars all the way .
We were told its the best poutine in Montreal Well it s true! I took the small version and its already very filling Warm welcome Accessible toilets
Nothing compares. Best place to end the night. The poutine is fantastic and the people working there are always so friendly. Food
First Poutine Experience!!!! It was spectacular!!!!
Curious to try poutine, and this was the bomb! First, petite is not really small, it is substantial, you must be hungry to finish. Four of us got four different styles and they were all absolutely delicious. I cant recommend this enough.
Popeyes is better
Favorite poutine in Montreal!
This was a great experience! Prices were very reasonable- about $15CAD. Flavor . OMG amazing. Definitely a MUST!
Great poutine! The place is not very big but its a nice place. The staffs are very friendly.
We love it. The poutines are excellent . Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian poutine Kid-friendliness: There are small menus
Gave me a taste for poutine again
Great casual quebecois food. Popular local spot in the plateau. Kid-friendliness: No Food : 5/5 |
Renowned restaurant in Montreal which was recommended to us. Very generous and fat portions. The fries are not homemade!! The interior of the restaurant remains to be desired, the tables are not very clean. Without having been recommended I would not have stopped there.
Great restaurant! The place is excellent for eating poutine. I recommend!
Entered the restaurant, no one welcomes you, I sit at a table, no one takes care of me, I look at the menu on the wall while waiting, so after 5 minutes, still no waitress in sight, I get up to ask me how the service works, and what seems to me to be the owner suddenly asks me have you been served, I tell him no, so he calls the waitress to give me the menu. I order a smoked meat poutine, the sauce and fries are quite ordinary, pretty much just the cheese which is decent, its certain that I wont set foot here again, and Im not picky, but there It was truly disgusting food.
Best poutine in MTL in my opinion. Ive come here regularly for years. The New York is a favorite. The price is great, a large can be two meals.
Never any bad surprises with their poutines
Very good poutine, lovely and efficient service. The decoration is a bit basic but it does the job for dinner
All that was missing was a smile from the waitress. However, the one who made me pay was very friendly.
It is said that Claudettes restaurant is only known to people in the neighborhood. This is totally false! its an institution as soon as I arrive in Montreal I talk about poutine and people say to me chez Claudette!!! Indeed: choice, quality of products, ultra friendly service, but no fuss in the room, classic table, classic chair and off we go, WERE ENJOYING!
One of the best authentic Quebecois poutine.
Saw this place on You Got To Eat Here. The poutine was worth the travel to get there. Its a diner experience. We took the metro and got off at the Laurier stop. Honestly one of the better meals we had in Montreal. They need to get beer back on the menu and ice for their water, especially on a hot summer day. If they had those two items would have given them a 5. Our waitress was friendly and the food came out quick.
Best poutine in town, period. But a big lack of commodity for kids. No seat boosters
Very good service and meal
Great choice of poutine. The sauce is hot and melts the cheese. Its not too salty
Best poutine in Montreal!!! Crazy
Best poutine in Montreal in real life
the best. always has been always will be.
One of Putins institutions in Montreal. The atmosphere and taste and value for money are a great pleasure. Without doubt one of the best classic poutine in town. It is also possible to enjoy hot dogs and pogo.
Food is not as what I expected. The texture of the gravy is not what I love so it disappointed me. However, the people are really friendly which can compensate a little bit.
They re so nice and friendly Fav Poutine ever Food
A little disappointed with the bacon (large pieces of meat) I was expecting thin slices or shavings.
Poutine very good and with taste, it s very good! On the other hand, service to be reviewed, I had the impression of being ghosted from my arrival to my departure. Damage!
The poutines are good, but the staff is not very welcoming (barely hello when entering, people walk past us and ignore us...strange atmosphere...). On the other hand, they are quick to serve so its better than nothing, but a little smile and taking the customer into consideration would be nice.
Basic gracy food. Good when you need it.
The poutine was passable, but the hotdogs were barely warmed up at all. The coleslaw was terrible.
Very good Double cheeseburger Very good hot dog steamer Very good poutine all dressed I chose brown sauce sauce a little too thick....poutine it was a small one but still a large portion Parking: Paid street parking
An institution in Montreal, the portions are generous and the menu is extensive. On the other hand, the interior decoration and the smell inside needs to be reviewed. We ate outside and we were right. But otherwise the restaurant is worth the detour and the fork. We didnt even eat half and we ate it again the next day :)
Must visit
A little disappointed that they open later now for lunch but when I manage to last until 11 am Im still very happy to have been there. Theres nothing like a good Claudettes lunch! Don t hesitate to take the pancake extra, it s excellent!
The waitress is very rude. Some people are not cut out for jobs that require good interpersonal skills.
Very good poutine
We were in Montreal for our anniversary and wanted to try a poutine spot, came here after seeing the good reviews. Waitress told us to pick a spot and we sat outside. After 15 mins she came to take our order. We waited over half an hour and we seen people who came after us already received their food and were done eating. My husband went to ask her when our food would come and she replied with what food? What food? Getting angry and yelling in the middle of the restaurant embarrassing him in front of everyone there. He said the food that we ordered. He then had to order the food again because she forgot what we ordered. Our food finally came after being there for an hour. Mind you, it was not busy while we were there and he got a regular poutine I got a poutine with cabbage on it
Large selection of original and very good poutines with vegetarian option (paid)
A good poutine, multiple choices for hamburgers and fries
Great restaurant, really delicious, I loved the poutine
Really tasty poutine! The classic and greek poutine was delicious.
Nice poutine. Im not an expert but it is the best I have eaten for the moment. Crispy fries and a good quantity of cheese and meat. Service is quick. I recommend.
A good place to eat quickly after an evening for example. Its not great cuisine but its what we come for (poutine, burger etc.) and its very good! The decor is deliciously old-fashioned and the service is friendly and you get a good price, what more could you ask for?
Great experience, New York poutine, so good!!
Service WAY TOO SLOW. Its lack of staff means you wait a long time at each stage, between placement, ordering, and payment. On the other hand, the food benefits from good value for money.
Everything else was fine but the fries were barely cooked making for a very bad Poutine. Very disappointed that this place has decayed so much.
I think this place must have been an institution but we had burgers made from frozen preformed patties, fries which came from a frozen bag of fries that went straight into the fryer, and finally a poutine from a top 10 poutine spot which had bland flavourless gravy with cheese that melted and wasn t squeaky. I was really disappointed after all of the recommendations. The service was great. The front of house were veterans and despite a new POS system that wasn t working great, pushed the crowds through to serve.
Very average poutine, cheap but with average quality ingredients. Edit 2024: its still good
Its plentiful. It s everything you expect from a small Quebec restaurant. I will come back without hesitation whenever I am in Quebec.
Very difficult to find a parking nearby the restaurant. But it s definitely WORHTY to pay a visit!! Poutines are very delicious, food are priced reasonably, Servers and chef are very attentive, restaurant and restrooms are clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!!
Excellent poutine and excellent service from the waitress Camille!
Love it! The quaint diner atmosphere was very homy, and the food portions are very generous. No wait to get seated either and its not crowded. Worth the trip for tourists like myself who wants to try something more authentic.
A classic
EDIT: I went back on a Friday, still delicious. The service is distinguished and professional. I highly recommend! Very pleasant and courteous service from our waitress named Camille. I love hotdoys! yum yum
Is a very good restaurant to eat real poutine!! :D I love it and the experience is unique please try it! :3
This restaurant is awesome! The poutine is delicious, they dont skimp on ingredients and its just the right amount of greasy to hit that spot. The service was prompt and the staff were super nice and friendly. Great atmosphere in the restaurant too! 10/10 would go again! Parking: Very few free spots of streetside parking available near the restaurant, youll have to look very carefully at the signs to see where you can park
Quick and delicious! Quality ingredients are offered in each poutine, with such a varied menu we want to try everything! Their poutine sauce is unique, and their fries... I m still thinking about it! The cooks are nice, I like the fact that they are the first ones you see when entering this restaurant, there is a warm effect
We liked it, good welcome, well located near the Laurier metro station, excellent poutines. I recommend.
Good selection of Poutines. Good local snack.
Lots of choice on the menu, its impossible not to find what youre looking for!
Very good food! Very warm welcome and service Affordable price!
The 4 star rating is definitely more up to date Seriously, it s absolutely not healthy and I haven t eaten such bad poutine in a long time.
Great poutine... cheese curds so fresh they squeak!
Terrible ! An institution. The banter of the owner, the generosity of the dishes... its not haute cuisine but its generous, friendly, simple Quebec that we love
The best thing about this restaurant is fs the service. The people working here are so nice and immediately make you feel welcome. The poutine was good but I wish the fries were a bit more crunchy.
Delicious
The poutine is super good, the portions are really generous, there is a range of poutines for all tastes
Really Nice. For those who like to stay away from tourist hangouts, with a local traditional atmosphere.
Very good hearty dish with great service despite arriving in the middle of a rush I highly recommend
Straight up banger
They are ADORABLE!!! I go there very often and they ALWAYS have a smile, because all the staff put their customers first. I already have my habits there: vegetarian club sandwich and I enjoy it every time!!! They are full of little touches and are very attentive to people! My next goal? Discovering their poutine which has the reputation of being one of the best in ALL of Montreal is an understatement but it doesn t surprise me
Excellent welcome and excellent poutine!
Excellent poutines, very cozy and great service
Probably one of the best poutines in q Montreal!
Perfect place to eat poutine! Delicious homemade fries, delicious sauce, meat a little too industrial but a very delicious combination regardless
My favorite poutine in Montréal
Best poutine in Montreal!
Is this the best poutine Ive eaten in Montreal? Maybe so far. I am not yet an expert in the field given the list of poutineries that I still have to make, but I have experience. Great poutine cabin for $20 incl. tax and service that deserves 5 stars, thats happiness. The fries are good and crispy, rare enough to say, we appreciate it. A tasty and thick sauce, thicker than usual but which coats well. The only downside is perhaps the cheese which doesnt squeak enough if you quibble a little. 8.5/10 I recommend the establishment and the poutine cabin, the maple beans transported me to the middle of the forest in a sugar cabin, no in fact I order you to go there, stop go to the fraud that is Banquise. In my quest for the best poutine, dont hesitate to subscribe.
Very warm welcome, atmosphere and service. Excellent cuisine, affordable prices.
Really ordinary poutine lacks sauce and cheese. fries ok no more...
Best poutine in MTL, with the best variety and prices. The portions are generous (not just the fries, every ingredient is). The gravy is great because its homemade.
Very simple establishment, where you eat well and very pleasant staff. On the other hand, it fills up quickly so anticipate your arrival.
Chez Claudette has two paintings of the last supper, one of the paintings has Marilyn Monroe as Christ. This place is dope.
At Claudette you enter a Plateau institution. Its fatty, its salty, and its generous. The staff is warm and even comforting and you have the choice of 43 different poutines without forgetting the snack menu. The lunch menu is classic and highly efficient (service until 3 p.m. from Friday to Sunday).
Not so bad
Second opinion: no, I confirm, the classic is ok, but nothing more and there are better in the neighborhood. First opinion: Its been a long time since anyone said that the poutine at Claudettes is one of the best. I found the Céline poutine to be quite original but perhaps not my favorite with its pepper sauce and a range of heterogeneous ingredients which does not necessarily lead to an exceptional arrangement and sometimes even small tastes that leave me skeptical. Ill have to come back to try some more because the fries are excellent.
One of the best poutines I have eaten with truly exceptional service
Very tasty Putin! We tried all sorts. Highly recommend! Friendly staff. Sometimes its a little hectic and cramped. The walls/furniture/toilet are very basic. Sometimes the floor is sticky A small portion (medium, small and sometimes tiny are available) is enough to fill a grown man. The coffee is very simple. Kid-friendliness: There are dishes for children.
The restaurant is really overrated. I was served by a new employee who is the most unpleasant person I have met in Canada (which is rare). It s a shame, because the manager, Marie, was able to restore the balance. Despite everything, I cant give more stars. The poutines are okay for the price. They are far from being the best, contrary to what I have read on certain sites. The room and the decoration are correct, nothing more.
Good bitch!
THE neighborhood restaurant. Classic lunches, inexpensive. An institution.
Was really excited to try Chez Claudette. Heard great things. Unfortunately, the poutine didn t hit right for me. The texture of the gravy was very unusual. Super viscous consistency that kind of ruined it for me. Was my first poutine in Montreal so maybe that s how they like it out there? Either way, not my favorite. On the plus side, the staff was very nice.
The employees work very hard there I ate a poutine, is it so good I recommend eating here 5/5 The employees work really hard I ate poutine and it was very good! I recommend eating here 5/5
The restaurant is pretty small and the waiting area is quite narrow. We ordered smoked meat, Celine and vege ones. I love the vege ones, the mushroom, the peppers are all well cooked.
Melted cheese on my poutine which indicates that the cheese was not fresh. It was like mozarella on a pizza. Thats really not the type of poutine youd want. Fries still a bit hard inside. Sauce was good but the cheese situation is unacceptable.
Great brunch for cheap!!
I gave my poutine to a homeless person, a single bite was enough to make up my mind and asphyxiate my palate with a very unpleasant peppery taste. A sauce is at least liquid, here we are talking about a viscous texture that is not at all appetizing or pleasant in the mouth... Not a sauce, in any case the staff is friendly but thats all
I had the Céline and it was very good. The cheese is fresh, everything is good. Well liked my service by the cooks while I was sitting at the counter.
Chez Claudette is an institution in the neighborhood, they have been open for a long time and their proven track record is well established. The service is fast and efficient. The poutine is super good. Prices are correct. The dining room is clean. Always a safe bet!
Very good meal at Claudettes! We went there on the recommendation of a friend. A wonderful welcome from the waitress who was very warm and smiling! An unusual choice of poutine, which made the choice very difficult. Fortunately we took the small one because it was already very generous, we had a great time! However, a big downside at the end of the meal when I went to the toilets! I have rarely seen such dirty toilets and I think I would not have had my meal here if I had seen this before eating... A big effort to make on hygiene because it is very irritable! Claudette you have to invest in bleach!
The OG poutine place. Their full menu is something like 30 types of different poutine. Basic but straight to the point. My chicken was dry though.
We went on a Poutine quest, and THIS is the best in Montreal.
The best place to eat the best poutines.
Super hospitable and great service!
The comfort I needed after spending the day in the cold. Enjoy! Photo of farm poutine PS: The crunch of the bacon is a must!
Its not bad, but not great either. The service is fast and friendly.
Never go there: Very bad food, terrible service and nasty owner. We went there with an elderly lady, zero respect!! The below average food served with rotten tomato. Very disappointing and awful experience
The poutine was DELICIOUS!! Wow!
Ive been coming here since the days of yore. Its still the best Italian pouts in town, also love the celine p, and cochon trio. Lovely personnel too. It can get quite chaotic as its very popular place, so I mostly take out, but also nice to sit there during the off-times.
We had just arrived in Montreal and we were craving a good poutine - Chez Claudette delivered and exceeded our expectations!
Great burger and poutine combo. Portions were just right and prices were very reasonable.
Great Poutine
one of the best poutines in town
You lied to me about the origin of your meat by looking me in the eye and telling me that it was halal when I have a colleague who came to see you today to ask and one of the team members told him that no The worst is when I asked you you looked at me (the owner and his son) in the eyes telling me it was halal and calling me my brother You took me for a kid, just know that I dont intend to hide behind this comment and that Im going to come by so that we can explain Do not see this in any way as a threat, I am only asking for a conversation with the owner and/or his son You are a great place, your food and the atmosphere are incredible but lying about religions just to make money I find it dishonest
