Avenue Mont-Royal brings together an impressive number of choices for poké bowl restaurants. There are at least 10 different locations to choose from, from east to west. Very popular for lunch. Ahi Poké is in our opinion one of the best (but not the best, honor which goes to Mr. Ramen further east). He was one of the first to offer his poké bowls a few years ago. It s the most beautiful poké restaurant though. Decoration reminiscent of nature in wood and greenery, dotted with shades of pink from a Japanese cherry tree. It s modern, clean, fresh and airy. Several spaces for dining inside, or outside on the terrace when the weather is nice. It is also the most expensive, it is one of the only ones to have crossed the $20 mark for a poké bowl. On the other hand, compared to the others, it is the one that offers the largest portion. More expensive, but bigger ($25 with taxes and service). For a first visit, we recommend the 50% bowl, short for: 50% salmon and 50% tuna, the best of both worlds. We also love the fried onion ring which contrasts a crunch with the rest of the ingredients in the bowl. Their rice is also very well seasoned, better than elsewhere. Recommended. We ordered two Poké (tuna/salmon) and the fish portions were really different. Anyway let s move on . But what was our surprise to discover semi-cooked shrimp tempura or even completely replaced by thick fried onion skins... inedible and above all not even on your menu. Its a shame your ad is good but the service is really bad. It was the first and the last

Excellent poke, always fresh, the best in the area :-)

Total disappointment! $2 for a miserable shrimp tempura extra. Rice from the day before (dried out and rubbery). Did not receive the drink ordered. I loved this restaurant so much but this is really ridiculous because the quality is 0!

I am a loyal customer of the restaurant but I was so disappointed. I made an order online and threw away the Pokécar it was inedible, the rice was hard impossible to chew and the shrimp had a funny taste the avocados in puree in short nothing to do with what they serve habit. So I called to complain and they answered the phone stupidly, the next day I went to get an explanation and the waitress who was very nice called the boss to explain the situation and he said that he couldnt do anything for me. Not even an apology. Damage They lost a customer and gained a bad review.

I ordered a Salmon Poke, and $21.85 is quite expensive for the price and quality of the poke bowl. I had to search for salmons; somehow, they weren t a lot!

-20$ for a poke bowl that lists avocado in its ingredients...for two really, really tiny pieces of avocado. -Carrots not listed in the ingredients but contained so much of it. Since I couldnt ask for specific instructions, I couldnt ask for no carrots in my 20$ poke. Good thing Im not allergic. On their flyer they ask people to let them know of any allergies... but theres no way to do so! Good thing Im not allergic to carrots. (Unless I missed it on the doordash website, theres no way to say I dont need any ustensils or napkins. A complete waste of supplies. Cant believe restaurants still dont ask that in 2023.) I wish I could get a 50% discount. Im really disappointed in what I got :( I guess the cool things are that the order was ready ridiculously quickly and that there was a LOT of fish. My girlfriend was happy with the poke bowl she got.

Family and I got a chirashi poke. For 21$ you have a pretty large bowl with very diverse proteins and veggies, most poke bowl I had usually pack the whole thing with huge amount of rice but I was happily surprised that it was not the case here. Fish tasted fresh and seasoning was on point.

One Saturday evening the 2 guys behind the counter were happily helping themselves to the food between preparing it and carrying bags etc into the back room. Seeing their hands move from the food to their mouth lifted my heart (especially since they were handling raw fish). Not sure they understand the usefulness of the little plastic gloves... It must be said that there was an Asian worker who seemed to be doing her best. I give it 2 stars. But I wont go back, I found it disgusting. Too bad, it was already a good address.

The poke was good but the whole place felt sticky, like they are washing the tables and benches with sprite. It smelled a bit moldy in the entrance. I would order another poke but I wouldnt eat it there.

This is easily the best poke you can find in the area. The ingredients are super fresh, and you get a ton of protein like salmon and tuna for what you pay, way more than other places in the plateau.

Very disappointed. My poke bowl with few needles, however, had a lot of mayonnaise and for the price, I didnt particularly like the taste. Pricey 24 dollars including tax.

Une place décente pour les poké bowls, mais je pense quils pourraient mettre davantage de soin dans la confection de leurs poké bowls en coupant les cubes de saumon et les morceaux davocat en plus petits morceaux et en accordant un peu plus dimportance à laspect esthétique des assiettes. Il faudrait aussi réduire la quantité de mayonnaise, un peu de mayo suffirait.

Well-filled and fresh poke

By FAR the best poke bowls in Montreal! I discovered Ahi Poke only a couple months ago, and it is already my go-to spot to get a delicious and filling poke bowl! You will not only enjoy the quality of the ingredients, but also have an amazing experience with the enthusiastic and welcoming staff!

Edit 2022: The salmon poke bowl went from $15 to $18, there are no longer lunchtime promotions and above all the quality has completely deteriorated since their post-Covid reopening. The service is still fast, but the taste is now classic, they no longer make their sauce which made it special... This restaurant no longer has anything exceptional.

Second time ordering (delivery) First time perfect, but second time... The lady asks me how I want to pay over the phone, I tell her: 2 debit cards and 1 in cash, the delivery guy arrives and tells me that there is only one bill, the guy is unable to separate it into 3 as expected basically, for 3 Poké LOL.. In short a big drag, secondly he doesnt answer my questions the guy doesnt understand anything I say to him and this allows him himself to tip whatever he wants , big disrespect, fire your staff. THANKS

Very nice staff, very good quality poke. Ingredients are fresh, and the greens they use are very leafy and flavourful, which tends to be where other restaurants cut corners. In terms of poke bowl franchises, Ahi Poke is the most consistent.

Great food and the portions are large. There is a good variety of ingredients in the poke bowls. Would recommend both the tuna poke and vegetarian poke!

Best poke ever

One of my favourite Poké places. The sauce is mixed through the whole bowl and they have great menu options. It is slightly more pricey but worth it for the taste.

Never eaten such a good poke bowl in my life designed for seals but accessible to the human race! Vegetarian options: The sushi rice and rice noodles as well as the fresh vegetables as well as the herbs and sauces concocted by the on-site chef are part of the magic of this restaurant I cant wait to go back and Im going to take the opportunity to invite friends...

The best poké in town! I have been a customer for 3 years (I previously went to Ahi Poke in Beaubien). The pokés are always fresh and delicious! We go back every time.

I ate there for the first time this week and I ordered the Deluxe bowl, it was a huge bowl, and delicious. Im going to go back there for sure!

Clean fast service the food tastes good however very expensive as a meal it only seems $21 c too much. They need to adjust their price.

I can t even explain how impressed I was after trying this poke place. Some other places put too much rice or are very cheap when it comes to protein, but the ratio of their bowls are perfect. Very generous. I got the shrimp & crab bowl. Everything tasted fresh; they put a sauce on top, not sure what it is but it had a vibrant flavour that just tied everything together. Absolutely delicious. It was enough for two meals!

An excellent experience. So much nicer inside than how it looks from the street. Great staff. Most poke bowls are between 16 and 20 dollars. Dumplings were disappointing but the excellent poke bowl more than made up for it. Very filling. 4.5 stars.

We were also very well served (5/5) Food: The bowls were really good and the ingredients matched very well together. We can directly see that the products are really fresh (5/5) Price: Price slightly too high but still reasonable given the rather generous quantities (4/5)

I was very fond of this restaurant for a while, but things have gone downhill. Its still good, but its now more expensive due to new delivery fees of 3.50$ (Im not that far away). Machine to pay by card wasnt working. And perhaps more alarming, is the labels and the little piece of wood I found in the food. Makes me worried of what else I should expect in there.

I ordered the Poke Deluxe and it wasn t fresh at all! The shrimp tempura was ice cold, as if they were pre fried, refrigerated and reused. The rice taste like Pure vinegar. Some one the salad was turning old I had to trough away the whole thing. Very disappointed and wasted my money. Forget this location Go on Beaubien instead

There were 3 of us ordering from this place and we all got sick. My friends also ordered from the same place another week and they were sick too. Be careful... something is not working... however the salads are very fresh.

Great poké! The place is clean, the fish is fresh, they dont skimp on the protein or the avocado, and they dont pad your bowl with empty carbs. This has become my go-to for poké.

Went in to order and pick up the bowl, it was pre-made. I have no clue why this happened, but my intestines are hurting after eating this bowl. I read a review from 4 weeks ago saying they also get sick, theres something weird going on with this place. Also theres too much salad and not enough rice.

Very good Pokés but, I think one of the owners/employees smokes in the back of the shop and it stank in the restaurant for a while..... The owner came to apologize for the smell of smoke. Im giving them another chance since their Poké is very good and they are very nice.

We should give 6 stars just for the welcome, its a real pleasure to eat there since not only are the poké - enormous - tasty but also the staff is great and puts a smile on your face. I had a little problem with delivery and they handled it quickly although the delivery was carried out by a service separate from the establishment I really appreciated their commercial gesture. I recommend for their kindness and also for the choice of poké and the giant portions!
