Very very expensive for what it is: $100 per person for a drink, light starters and two skewers to share between 4 people!! This is really exaggerated. Extremely noisy so we cant talk to each other. Dont go there to eat.

If you want to lose your hearing, come here! The sound was 1000 decibels and kept increasing during the night

overall it was not bad, but too much noise and what was unbearable was the bad smell from the pipes in the toilets, I couldnt even breathe, think about solving this problem!

The service and music were fine. However the food was way below expectations. The variety is so limited based on the formula they did recommend. Only few platters were served even though we were a group of 20 people. We paid around 75$/pers incl tax/tips) excl. all beverages, and we left hungry. Super expensive for this quality and quantity of food, and on top of that even water is charged extra!! I dont recommend at all!

Friday night, place is half empty, I m there with my 2 male friends. And we get turned away because we are all men! Disgusting!!! If the roles were reversed it would be a different story. Never going to back to this garbage place. Whoever is running this place should be replaced.

Just celebrated my 28th birthday there ! We went on a sunday and it was perfect. We had the fixed menu, every plate was so delicious and well presented. They are very accommodating for large groups, which was important for me! I wanted 1 big table for all of us.

So disappointed ! I do not recommend ever this place for anyone . I planned a surprice cake for my husband for his birthday when i was booking on the phone but it was never delivered!! What a shame!! They ruined the surprise for this special occasion on top of it we spent more then 200$. So unprofesional and unorganized. They say they dont do this kind of requests but will do it as a favor, just so they get customers, I would have chosen a diffrent place if they were honest!! Also we came early and no parking was available.

By Far, The best lebanese restaurant in Montreal. The shisha(arguilé) is good. But what fascinated me the most is the staff there Theyre so friendly, Enthusiastic, helpful and caring. I would definitely recommend it!!

Not gonna comment on the food since, I tried Kunafa only. It is not a Kunfafa at all. Firstly, its 18$ and in the name of Kunafa they are selling two buns stuffed with cheese, nutella. It doesn t taste like Kunafa at all. Not going there again.

Amazing music, amazing weekend vibe. The reason Im giving a 2 star reviews, the waitress Miriam added a tip for herself on the machine without consulting with me, then gave me the machine. She tried doing that with my friends but one asked her to give me the machine and the other changed the tip. Its not up to you to choose what tip you can tip yourself! I have never seen that in any service based business except that night! Beware and be careful of that when you are paying. Other than that the Friday night is great there and food is decent.

I didnt eat but the atmosphere and drinks are okay

1-star because they simply refused to play a birthday song with the cake as apparently they don t play songs twice! So either the DJ had only ONE bday song in his database or they only celebrate one birthday a night! Either way, extremely weird and bad management, that s for sure! And P.S the DJ DID play a few songs more than once. Weird for a place for sure! Also no tap water on tables. You re thirsty, you have to buy bottles of water. They mean business. LOL Despite the fun music, we won t be returning and we don t recommend as the food is also mediocre. And No dance floor.

We are regular customers in the district, usually booking a table and ordering a shisha. When we were called for our reservation, no one informed us that the shisha was no longer available. On arrival we were served with a starter, but when we asked for a shisha the staff said they no longer offered this service, even though this had not been mentioned on the phone when booking. What really upset us as customers was that we were forced to pay for our order in full, even though we hadnt eaten anything. Also the staff made us feel guilty for not asking on the phone if shisha was available. This seemed disappointing, unprofessional and uncommercial, and we were forced to pay $75 for nothing. Add to this that not only was it disappointing, unprofessional, but also that it was a particularly mean-spirited approach, especially since we didnt even take our food with us.

I was very very disappointed with the way they spoke to customers when it came to reviews. We called yesterday to reserve a table for two people, as usual. When we arrived we were served a salad and a few small starters. We started to eat the salad and asked for shisha and thats when we were told that its a restaurant and not a shisha place, knowing that we only reserve for shisha! They asked us to pay the entire bill, $65 plus tax each, but we refused because we didnt eat anything or take anything away! I don t know why he says we ate our entire meal knowing that they only served starters at that time! We paid $65 because they wouldnt let go and demanded that we pay!! This is so disappointing! What a waste! Instead of informing customers by telephone at the time of booking that the shisha service is no longer offered, you let them move around believing otherwise!!

Last night I joined my husband for his work event at District 961 and we had A WONDERFUL TIME! The food is A+ but its the atmosphere and caring staff that really make it worth checking out. Thank you District 961 for a wonderful evening. We will be back! Food

Every time i go to this place i say to myself why did i go! It is the worst, it is so expensive, he gives you nothing for the money you pay. You will leave hungry and you will pay as a luxury restaurant! No wonder why it is always empty. The only thing that is good is the singer ramy bader, other than that, don t go!

Horrible service and experience. 2 of my friends ordered a drink each and then the server comes back 10 minutes after telling us that with the amount of alcohol we have its against the law and that we had to order food even though we told him that we had eaten beforehand. He was still insisting and forcing us to buy food against our will. Thus making my friends bills 50$ and 70$ Had he informed us of this before it would have been different. Also due to covid we werent allowed to share shisha which made no sense as you were already in contact with the people at your table without a mask. Also the server was talking with his owner and they were both legit just staring at us from behind the counter for no reason. If that is what you call friendly service, then Id rather not go back there ever again. Super disapointed in the service and super overpriced. Would strongly recommend you go anywhere else but here.

Came in for lunch with a colleague from work. Ordered a few appetizer and a shish taouk sandwich. Service was quick. Food was delicious. Authentic Lebanese flavors with their own unique twist! I heard lots of great things about the food here and me being Lebanese and a picky eater, I had high expectations. These guys did not disappoint. Will come again, this time with the family.

We came from America looking for somewhere to eat Mediterranean food. We found District 961 through Tik Tok. This place had the best Mediterranean food I have had. Our waiter, George, was very nice and helpful. He kept checking on us and getting us what we need. I have 2 more days in Montreal and may have to stop by again!

We used to visit the restaurant every Saturday. We liked their food. But today, I would leave zero star for the sleepy service, the shisha, and the worst Lebanese burger! The Shisha double apple wasnt good at all. The meat of the hamburger wasnt well cooked and was still red. When I told them about it, I got another burger in the same condition and with a nasty odor. I would not recommend this restaurant from now on!

First and last time this place we and going to celebrate a birthday arriving at the place he gives us a table at the bottom side of the emergency stairs and the high chairs not comfortable with a reservation two weeks in advance the atmosphere is not good space between the tables too small in short price too expensive it even charges the water which normally it is free I do not recommend if you are a group of friends

This started very good. We arrived at 9, and the music was still low enough that we could hear each other. The first wave of appetizers was good and different from the normal arab nightclub/lounge. However, we were very disappointed with the quantity of meat they brought us. They brought us the equivalent quantity of 6 people for 10 people. (2 plates like the image in my review) Considering we were 10 people, and it cost each of us a minimum of 60$, the quantity of meat was outrageously small. Additionnally, they didnt provide with free water. They charge 3$ per bottle. In Quebec, they are legally bound to provide free tap water, which wasnt the case. The music was very good, but no space to dance so its very soso. Additionally, leaving the club, we say a couple of guys trying to get in. They didnt allow them in unless they were mixed with women. So be aware. So overall, wasnt really all that.

For my part, I didnt like my first experience, on a Friday, the room was almost empty! But apart from the grilled chicken which was good, the rest is sorry! Small portions for a high price!

I just left this place and had an amazing experience. Patrick was the best server I ve experienced in Montréal. I m a flight attendant & travel here frequently, and they can rely on me being a regular whenever I m in Montréal. The food was delicious & hookah never burnt out! Love it! Love it! Love it!

Great place for a girls night out. My friend and I had a blast, the drinks are great (highly recommend the cucumber addiction) and they have a great variety of typical middle eastern food with a creative twist! The music is super good we danced all night long! Cant wait to go back :)

A not to miss party place on Fridays and Saturdays, an amazing chicha lounge with a fulfilling traditional lebanese food. You actually arrive for the supper and stay for the party, so bare with me here! A delicious sharing mezze, very rich in flavor and several servings of dishes you just can t kick off your night in a better way. Then the party starts and the surprises keep on coming, a very nice lights setting and entertaining performers showing up for multiple shows under the sounds of a talented dj mixing oriental and western beats for a lightening ambience truly. Not to mention that their bottle service has very reasonable prices, way less expensive than many party places, which is a huge advantage in my opinion. Epic for birthdays, bachelorettes and or any friends gathering! On a side note you better reserve well in advance i would say a week at least to get yourself a nice table or even to get in, so plan well ahead.

Probably the first time I ever tipped 25% because I genuinely enjoyed my entire visit here. From the beginning, the owner was so kind, welcoming and accommodating to my friend and I. GEORGE was such a great waiter and was super friendly and professional at the same time. We danced, had great drinks and sang our lungs out!!! Whoever the DJ was needs to play music for my future wedding because the song selections were 11/10. You would want to sit down but then another banger would come on and you would JUMP out of your seats to start dancing again. I love how you ll see people of all ages and you can bring your parents here for a birthday party or turn it into a girls night out. Would definitely return and highly recommend this place.

Its very inconvenient that they have age restrictions (21+ and not 18+) for Fridays and Saturdays. They refused us just because of the age. Its really disappointing. I really wanted to visit this place but unfortunately it didnt happen.
