Service was good. But food was ok. Tomato soup had something amiss. Grilled cheese was nice. Atmosphere was amazing.

Classic smash burger was good and fat n furious desert was excellent ,,and its worth the wait!

Very bad experience, if not the WORST experience, that I have had in my entire life with a server in a restaurant, the lack of respect and professionalism is incredible all because I did not leave a tip on my $60 order. The waiter, after seeing that I had not left a tip, told me that the service is not included on the bill, I told him that tipping is not obligatory, it is optional. Subsequently he made a scene, the way he addressed me was really not the best, I had not lacked his respect during his service, yet he lacked mine by making very disgusting gestures towards my friend and me. Subsequently, he went to a table, cutting me off to tell me yes, yes, in any case, you know more than me and he subsequently started chatting with other customers about this. that happened. All to say that although the food is good, this would be the last time that I invite my loved ones to this restaurant and that I do not recommend it at all for this incident.

My girlfriend and I were served exceptionally well by our waitress, who made our time even more special. We were in our joy, savoring every moment of our celebration. And, to our great surprise, the manager touched us in a way that left us speechless. Honey garlic chicken wings are great! Always go for the Mason jar drinks. Had the Calimero burger with a fried egg on top. Delicious but messy.

My experience at this burger bar was terrible! We were a group of 8-10 people, we ordered drinks and food. My order was a mushroom burger, I ate my burger while my plate was full of fries. I went out to smoke while some of us still sat at our table, when I came back, I saw that they took my plate out while I even didn t finish it! Burger also didn t have any taste at all! I m not gonna come back to this place and I won t recommend it.

This was the first restaurant I visited in Montreal and it was worth it. We had a delicious meal and the service was quite friendly, really. I felt at home. The waitress was very patient with us and always had a very good disposition. Pretty good burgers. The place is very nice and the atmosphere is quite good. Also, we tried our first poutin here, so it has a special place in my memory. I would return to this place without hesitation.

During a visit, the waitress is not smiling at all. Cold attitude. And slow and absent service despite few customers present. We waited 30 minutes for desert with no follow-up from him. We had to ask if we had been forgotten. Little water service and beverage ordering. This one had a completely inappropriate attitude when she passed by me and told me: its not me who is in the kitchen. Having not spoken to the waitress all evening, I found the comment and behavior completely inappropriate and arrogant. That said, this is largely a situation that makes me think about going back.

I understand the importance of tipping, however there is no law that forces me to pay 15%, I am free to choose how many dollars I will tip. The waiter forced me to pay 15%, that is absurd. I went there with a friend and everything seemed to go ok but when it was time to pay the server was very rude and when we were done paying and we were heading out the same server was with his friend and was laughing at us and pointing at us. I went there to eat with a friend , we sat down , we ordered, 15 minutes later , 4 other people sat down infront of us and somehow they got served their food first. I feel bad writing this review because a few years ago, this was the reference for a juicy and taste burger. I went back today (after à few years not going) and I am extremely disappointed in the food. The meat patty is tasteless, the portion (which used to be huge) is not average and the quality of the ingredients have drastically gone down. Truth be told, this is my last time going to eat there and now am looking for a new burger place. If youre looking for something delicious worth the hefty price, go somewhere else.

Cute place with nice drinks but the food is fried and junk food, not one healthy option on the menu and everything is so OVERPRICED! Our waitress was nice however. Good place for a few cocktails but if you want a good dinner, this is not the spot.

There are also pub staples of beer selections and cider. The food menu has a wide selection of snacks and meal items. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The service was friendly and efficient. It s so loud you can t talk. They leave the doers open so you freeze inside. Food is OK. Take out and eat a burger somewhere you can enjoy the food. (They can t turn down the music or close the doors.)

Our adventurous appetite led us to order a platter brimming with chicken wings, pogos, onion rings, fries, and sliders, an ambitious choice that proved to be more than we could tackle even with a hungry teenager in tow. We organized a Superbowl outing with colleagues, small group 10-12. Although our waiter felt spaced lol, he served us really well, was attentive, super sweet, came to check on us, very pleased! The burgers were delicious, the cocktails were well prepared, generous portions. We will be returning more often.

Great food but why are your employees begging for tips? Me and my partner went to dine in and the service was nice and all however towards the end, your employee Shihab K. got tipped by us but still complained that the tip was small and went on on a rant about how he doesn t make much and about taxes etc. It is not our responsibility to pay your employees. Literally called to ask if kids were allowed and their hours. Told they had kids menu and open till 10. Arrived at 9:10 as a woman was pulling the sign inside saying we couldn t eat there they were closing. We travelled far to get there and were very disappointed. Won t try again.

Ive been on multiple occasions and every time the service was impeccable. The waiters are very friendly and know their stuff (they give good suggestions for foods and drinks). The foods are delicious and you can mix and substitute them when ordering. There is also a wide variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The ambiance and look of the place is welcoming with a nice classic rock playlist playing in the background and even the bathrooms were clean and spotless. I highly recommend La Belle & La Boeuf for social gatherings with friends and if your date loves a good burger they wont be dissapointed.

Recently, I visited La Belle & La Boeuf and it was an exceptional experience. The burger with its perfectly cooked, juicy patty and the option to choose a refreshing salad over fries was a delightful twist. The restaurants rustic decor added to its unique charm. Additionally, the service was outstanding, with our server Sierra being exceptionally friendly and professional some of the best service Ive encountered in Montreal. Its a must-visit for an innovative take on classic burgers and sides. Ill definitely be returning.

The patty is thick, but moist, soft, and well-cooked. The buns are soft and wonderful. But there is no dressing on it. Theres no sauce. Its so plain that its a bit bland. It lacks the sweet and greasy taste of a burger. It was a bit disappointing~ It would be nice if there was a lot of burger sauce on it.

I would suggest to the owners to make the Kool aid pickles a bit sweeter or to sprinkle some drink mix on top of the pickle to help really sell the Kool aid part.

Good food, horrible drinks. Got la boeuf burger which comes with a side of fries, coleslaw and what I assume is a kool aid pickle. Delicious, especially the pickle. Got the blue Hawaiian drink, overtly sweet, do not recommend getting the prepared drinks, get a beer instead.

Don t order take out. My home is 2 mins away and the restaurant is busy. So I put one taking out order with double tips. The first tip is auto built in. When I back home, the fries were already soft. I took it until I ate one mold fry. The rest half box was thrown into garbage. I checked google reviews detail. All reviews are good except one UberEat review. So my suggestion: don t use take out and double check the bill.

Im not going to lie. I have mixed feelings about this place. One one had their food is on point, huge variety of food options. Ive always wanted to try a huge burger with multiple layers, I didnt even know i could have it in there. When I was there, I got a chili Macncheese, its not quite what I expected. Undercooked pasta, not enough cheese, and portions were on the smaller end. Next time, if I take something different, I might change my opinion. Other than that, if theres anything better than the ambiance, its the service. Helpful waitresses, water was always on time. Very good. Would recommend.

Terrible customer service. Have been many times and always have a decent size bill and tip well. I dont think it is too much to ask for a table that isnt so small we couldnt be comfortable. We want to have water, a drink, dinner and usually order multiple shots and like to not be squished into half a table. Were told that we could only have a single table because we were 2. The restaurant was empty and apparently they had reservations so this was not possible. We went across the street to 3 Amigos and were accommodated with a decent size table. On the way home we peeked in to see how busy it was, and were suprised to see multipul tables still empty. Including the one we wanted to sit at.

You like hamburgers: this is the place to go. Very good service and an excellent choice, varied and quite plentiful. Very friendly welcome at the entrance, set up with class and a smile. BUT We arrived at 7 p.m. to get a table so we could watch the UFC which starts at 10 p.m. At 9:50 p.m. we were asked if we could pay the bill, very satisfied with the service at 7 we put around $100 in tips. We consider that we have consumed well. 5 minutes later the manager comes to kick us out because the table is reserved for 10 p.m., the waitress did her job badly We would have had the information that the table was no longer available at 10 p.m., we would have gone somewhere else. Telling us would have been good. Likewise, blaming everything on the waitress is still quite borderline behavior. After negotiations, we were reimbursed in cash for the pitcher of beer that we were unable to drink because it had been cleared by the manager and we left. The idea of getting the tips back knowing that you were going to get taken out is also questionable. Even if its someones fault a little note sorry I was wrong / there is a reservation, you should leave, 1 shot on the house .... it would have been In this case I would have given my usual 4-5 stars, we dont talk about it anymore, it happens. It sucked to be there on a Saturday night and not being able to talk to someone straight across me, at first the music was way too loud and then the hockey game came on the TVs at full volume, ads included. We only ordered appetizers (which were fine but a bit pricey, one of my jalapeño poppers didnt even have a jalapeño inside) and a drink each and then left, nobody was watching the game and the bar isnt advertised as a sports bar so I dont know why management decides to put their clients through this ordeal, wont come back.
