I loved my experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely impeccable, and the tea and baklava served after our meal were the icing on the cake. The choice of music was excellent, and generally a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was simply incredible. The waitress Sérine, who welcomed us, was very attentive and kind, which made our experience even more pleasant. I will 100% come back!

Rude waitress (not the veiled one and not the very young one but the 3rd) put her in dishes where she can talk to anyone

The restaurant is truly amazing! The food is so flavorful, and everything is made by hand, including the sauces. The atmosphere is really nice, with great music playing in the background, and I loved how clean everything was. The owner welcomed us with such warmth and made us feel right at home. The staff were all super friendly and spread good vibes all around. We were there for dinner, and I can t wait to go back and try their special traditional breakfast!

Its been a few months since we visited this restaurant, but I didnt have the opportunity to write a review. We went as a family through a friend of my father. The event started late, there was a singer who sang Turkish style songs arabesque (not really our style). The food was good but definitely not worth the expensive price tag. This was our first and last experience at this restaurant.

It was a perfect place, the staff were very friendly, we were very pleased.

We have visited many places and we have never seen such good service and beautiful menu in Montreal. I recommend it in advance :)

Today I was accompanied by my father and my brother, to eat at LA MEDES, Really clean restaurant, Menu has several choices of Turkish cuisine, they are generous with their dishes and very delicious, I would like to specially thank the young girl I think an Algerian she was really helpful. Good continuation I recommend, you will not regret it.

Im giving 1 star because otherwise I cant leave a comment. Ive never experienced anything like this anywhere else: we were at a wedding reception and my child was hungry, while waiting for dinner to be served I bought a portion of fries. I dont know if its the owner but an old gentleman came to the table to bring him napkins and put his hand in the plate to take a fries!...like that!...as if it were his own plate! I do not tolerate this at home or anywhere! Afterwards I got up from my table and when I came back: he had taken a canned drink (without opening) that someone had paid for me! I went to tell him and collect it, he replied: take it, its included in the price. how cheeky!!! Too bad, the food is good but the service is lousy...at least in the reception room. I hope not to return to this place again, I was afraid of having my cell phone or my bag stolen.

I am a big fan of Turkish restaurants and usually prefer dining at Turkish establishments. However, this was by far the worst Turkish restaurant I ve ever been to. We ordered Alinazik and pide, and both dishes were extremely disappointing. The flavors were completely off, and the food was drenched in oil, which made it very unpleasant to eat. I don t know how this place has such a high rating, but I highly doubt it s accurate or deserved. The presentation of the food wasn t appealing, and the quality was far below what I would expect from a Turkish restaurant. I have tried many Turkish places in the past, and the difference in quality here was shocking. If you are looking for authentic and tasty Turkish cuisine, I highly recommend looking elsewhere because this place doesn t live up to the standard. The service was also underwhelming. Although the staff were polite, the overall experience was ruined by the poor food quality. I definitely won t be coming back, and I wouldn t recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are far better options out there for those who enjoy Turkish cuisine.

We went for lunch, lunch was meh honestly. We were 4 people and very few choices of bread. Apart from the condiments in the middle which were double, normally in a serpme lunch for 4 people (being double of 2) it should have double the eggs, double the menemen, double the sucuk, double the fries ( that I myself had to make the remark by asking where the second one is and that I received it only after my remark) etc.. the tea is not Turkish tea and it is not good according to Me. Small mention only for the staff who were super nice and welcoming!

I purchased six meals for my family and I today, and we were all very disappointed. The kebab and shawarma meat dishes were mediocre, with extremely small portions. The wraps were too oily and had too strong a lemon taste.

This stretch of JT has lots of tired same old same old. La Medes was a lovely surprise. Food was excellent. Fresh tasty generous portions and well presented. The bread, the dips, the minty salad the main dish down to the fragrant tea were all excellent. Very pleasant, comfortable, airy well lit atmosphere. Wonderfully polite and attentive service not to mention that all was reasonably priced. Definitely a stand out on this st Leonard stretch. Wow a big difference between the photos and the truth because already the climate is not warm the service is not pleasant there is only one waitress who speaks languages and she also serves plus there was enough climate.
