The food was good but the portion of salad and french fries that accompanied my burger was so small, it was ridiculous for a near $30 burger.

Celebrated our anniversary at Local 75 and were very pleased with the food, service, drinks & warm atmosphere. A local NDG favorite.

First time going there, definitely not my last. What a nice surprise. I never eat salad for dinner, but that Santorini Salad is a must. Hanger steak melts in your mouth. The key lime pie and creme brulé......this is what dreams are made of. Dont miss it.

Food was mediocre, had the yellow stone burger that for 26$ came with the smallest side of fries I have ever seen in my life, barely even seasoned, a burger that had barely any sauce or veggies. I could make better at my own place with what I can buy at provigo. Not intended on coming back to waste more money. I tipped the waitress but you can better with your food as a restaurant. Litterally felt like getting ripped off. Your street competition offers much better food for way less. 6/10 and thats cause I am being nice and like to support local.

After visiting this place once a month regularly for the past few months (in my girlfriends neighbourhood, I come visit from the north shore), we liked the service, food, and ambiance. Went there tonight to grab a bite and have a couple of beers on the terrace since it was a beautiful day, we were having a good time but it started going south and it wasnt because of any interaction with the waitress or anything, we barely saw her. We had ordered an entrée (which came at the same time as the main dish - strike), and a plate of steak to share, and asked for the extra mushrooms which never got served, and when I asked about them not even an apology or an explanation, just asked if we still want them - strike 2. We had ordered the steak medium rare (exactly how the waitress would order it as she said), it came more well done - strike3 Then we order another pint of beer * 2, and as were drinking a fly drops dead in one of them, halfway. Told the waitress about the incident and she asked if Id like another one.. well, I think so? I dont know what I should have said. of course I want another one, you shouldnt even ask. - Strike4. when the bill came, they had charged for the extra beer. I ask her whats up with that? she said yes I asked the owner (he was the bar tender that night?) we dont usually go there on Wednesdays, we did Tuesdays and Fridays and he was never there. Anyhow, a clients bill for 2 above 100$ shouldnt even make you budge for the cost of replacement of that pint, but you insist on charging it? because its not your fault? well it isnt mine either, consider giving a regular client a mere 5% on his bill, wouldnt hurt your business I can tell you that. Unfortunately we wont be going back there because of all of the above. we enjoyed it while it lasted, will have to find another spot for when Im in the neighbourhood. previous review from a few weeks ago: Very nice joint for food and drinks. Ordered food to go and it did not travel well at all made a mess in my car. I carried it one block. Staff amazing, place clean and well maintained prices as listed. Paid close to forty dollars to have to go container fall apart. So wrong!

Laura the waitress was super nice ,friendly with a beautiful smile and excellent service ! I highly recommend her! We had Italian sausages, poutine with sweet potatoes, Cesar salad and the buffalo cauliflowers it was all delicious thank you !

Amazing experience

I went there on a Friday lunchtime with a friend. Warm welcome, very friendly waitress. I had a bowl of Seoul. Hearty, I wasnt even hungry when dinner time came later. But I found it a little expensive: $46 for a main course and two decas, I know there is inflation but still. That said, it was delicious. And my friend found her dish very good too. So I will definitely recommend it to others.

We came here on a whim cos my friend lives in the area, and she said the place looked really cute. We got there early, so we were able to get a table on the terrasse. I ordered the beet salad and the roasted brussel sprouts (Im currently on a very restrictive diet), and both dishes were delicious! They even offered to make me a mocktail since my friends were all drinking. For me, what stood out the most was the service. A-1 to the waitress who served us (sorry, I didnt get her name)!

Our group enjoyed the atmosphere. The server was very warm and friendly too. Our drinks were tasty enough, my wife and her friend had a sangria cocktail and I had a beer. Unfortunately this is where the good times end. We agreed on the Roasted Buffalo Cauliflower to wet our palettes. At $9, and considering the prices on the rest of the menu, I should have tempered my expectations. We were brought a plate of the smallest pieces of cauliflower I ve ever been served. It felt as though someone had a chopped up cauliflower for another table and then swept the crumbs in to a plate for us. On to my Vegan Burger. At its price point of $26, I was hoping to see a burger overflowing with toppings and sauce but I was presented with thin tomato slices, very little lettuce and a few drops of sauce on the bun. The Impossible patty itself was generously sized but it was 90% of the whole burger. We, unfortunately, didn t feel any love in their food and that instead we were being charged a premium because of its location in the Monkland village.

I ll do it in French as we are in Montreal. A little eroded by the time difference, but the hunger in my stomach all the same, restaurant chosen at random and a nice surprise, crab cake which is worth our Belgian shrimp croquettes, one of the best ribs I have eaten in my life, great service, charming staff and a real Moscow mule. If you happened to be in Montreal this neighborhood is very diverse and worthy so make a stop here

Nice enough place. Food tastes good and is reasonably priced.

We normally eat chicken here. Their chicken wings and chicken burger are just mouth watering. My favourite place for chicken wings. Cocktails are good too. They are short staffed i believe that s why the service is super slow. The main lady who works there is super nice and it seems she was the only one really working there lol

I am in Montreal for business and I stopped in here for dinner which was excellent in every way! The draft beer was cold, the service superb and the steak salad, excellent! The hanger steak was perfectly cooked medium rare with a nice crust on the outside. My server was new, so sorry I forgot your name, but thank you for personal, professional service! When I come back to Montreal (I love your city!) I will be back! Merci!

As someone whos celiac, its unbelievably gratifying to know that I can eat here without issue. Many dedicated GF places have been unable to serve me food that doesnt make me sick, but this place somehow managed to do so! Fried chicken to boot!

I dont normally post reviews but this has to be one of my top meals of all time. The Poutine has a kick that is unexpected and delicious. The Chicken Tagliatelle is one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. And the Crème Brûlée is excellent. Came back a second time during my visit as I couldn t get it out of my head!

The vibes are great! The food was very delicious! Our friends had the chicken which seems they were even more delicious than the ribs The owner is super kind! I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a cozy bar in the hood!

Best burger and fries Ive ever had. I had the chance to taste their tasty burger with caramelized onions, mushrooms and jalapeno. Additionally, I asked for chipotle sauce to accompany the fries. The chipotle sauce was excellent. Being a Chipotle fan myself, their sauce had a little aftertaste that came to us. The burger was exquisite. At first bite it was possible to distinguish the tasty caramelized onions. The only 2 improvements that come to mind: Brioche the hamburger bun with egg yolk to give it a nice reflection and distribute the seasoning on the fries. 1 out of 5 fries was seasoned, but when you came across a seasoned fry there on the other hand hmmm. Courteous, impeccable and fast service.

A charming little place that had excellent food a very nice service. There isnt an abundance of indoor seating so we had to wait a bit before being seated inside. We were able to order drinks and sit in the covered patio until a table became available. We tried the sausage and cauliflower appetizers (the Buffalo sauce is my new favorite) and a chicken burger and half chicken with rice and beans. All of it was excellent. Im certainly returning here in the future.

Very charming, welcoming and cozy neighborhood restaurant with the feel of an English pub. Good quality dishes with fresh ingredients and a very nice presentation. Really a good address!

Went out with a friend to grab a drink and a bite. Hes been ordering from this place but never physically been there so we decided to change that. Its a small place, but still humble and not pretentious. The atmosphere was awesome, place was packed and everyone was having a great time. I ordered the hanger steak and absolutely adored it. Got a little side order of fries and the co-owner Bully brought over a house made hot sauce for us to try. Id put the heat at about a 4 or 5, and it was on the vinegar side of taste (which for me I love), my buddy however mixed in some mayo and it really smoothed out the vinegar and slowly it started to grow on him. There was also a lovely English Toffee dessert which wasnt on the menu that Bully recommended and again that was a smashing hit! I really loved this place and as covid restrictions begin to ease up Ill definitely be making this a regular spot to go to!

It was my first time here and Ill for sure come back. They made a mean negroni, the lemon pepper chicken wings surprised me, I was not expecting to love them as much as I did. What I really liked though was their homemade hot sauce, its not that spicy, just enough to know its there, but the flavor was outstanding... I finished the bottle... and then I bought the big one to take home. Needless to say this place is amazing and Ill be going back.

First of all the staff is awesome. Eco friendly take out containers. Best burgers. Delicious crispy chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. The pub is comfy, lively and the beer selection is great. Theres also a terrace, yay! You wont be disappointed in whatever you order!

Great atmosphere, amazing food, very good customer service. We had a burger, a poutine, chicken tenders; they were all superb.

Its a nice pub with a nice terrace too, the beer selection is alright. I had the chicken wings and sweet potato fries with a friend and they good. Nothing completely mindblowing but everything was tasty. It is on the pricier side though. While we sat at the bar, I think the bartenders were either way too busy to be friendly or simply not really interested in us, which was fine for my friend and I but I know some people really like attentive, chatty bartenders.

Service was friendly, but I was underwhelmed by the food. Steak was overcooked and the fried chicken was dry. All in all .... meh.

We waited 1h15 for a plate of fries, and over 2h for the burger. Avoid at all costs, it was not just a mistake for our table, literally every single table has been waiting as long if not longer for simple plates like fries, burgers and salads. Big management problem

This place is a hidden gem. We found our local treasure in the form of an ultra special waitress who I think is named Marie Laurier (??) the Moscow mules were absolutely to die to for. Would recommend to anyone who wants to have a superb time !!!!!!!

Their fried chicken, is life changing fuel of biblical proportions while the service pays hommage to a forgotten time when people actually still genuinely cared and took pride in the little details that make all the difference. If Tesla and Porshe had a baby and that baby was a pub, this place would put it to shame.

My husband and I came for a date night and really enjoyed our experience. We sat outside in their tented terrace and enjoyed the ambience. We both ordered burgers and were not disappointed. The meat tasted very fresh and was perfectly cooked. My only criticism would be that it was quite pricey. It was only us two and the meal came to about 84$ for 2 burgers and drinks. We did not have any appetizers or dessert. Overall it was a pleasant experience, its just not somewhere we can frequent often on our budget.

I went there after looking at the menu online to celebrate an anniversary, so we went all out. We ordered so many things, and everything was so tasty! The staff was super friendly. We had a great time! The place inside is small and got busy quickly, so it might be worth a call to see how full they are before you go. Dietary restrictions: Their gluten free options were AMAZING!

This is my favourite spot in the neighbourhood and it never disappoints! My family and I ordered from there last night and it was, by far, our best take-out experience since the beginning of the pandemic. I have tried most of the permanent items on the menu and they are all super tasty with no exceptions (the cocktails are great too). Great portions, great quality ingredients, friendly staff and really safe. Our food was ready in 20 minutes and all the stuff it came in was either compostable or recyclable! :)

Super delicious falafel burger. The brioche bun was perfect with it and the hot peppers too. Fries were well seasoned. Good number of tasty options, can t wait to eat there in person one day!

Local75 has become our second kitchen. Every single dish on their menu is delicious and very well executed. We have ordered take out from there quite often in the last year and it was a hit every time. Even if it came in take out containers, it still looked and tasted awesome! Our favs: the fried chicken with their local sauce, fried chicken burger, taco bowl, sweet potato fries, poutine (very good poutine) and beet salad. But we have literally tried everything on the menu and we loved it all. These are only our favorites. The staff is also very friendly! Updated to add: I forgot to mention the cajun corn and coleslaw. So good!

Came here for the first time today and loved my experience! This place has great ambience and the decor has a lot of personality. Staff were polite and attentive. Portions were quite generous for the ciders we had. We got the big local and impossible burgers, and they tasted great! Possibly the best buns Ive ever had. Would definitely recommend for anyone whos looking for anything from a pitcher between friends to a more intimate date night spot.

Excellent bistro. This evening we had an assortment of appetizers, each of which was delicious and well presented. The waitress gave us impeccable service. The only downside: the flower boxes around the terrace attract wasps.

Nice and cozy place to spend an evening with friends or family. Food are slightly pricey though, staff are overwhelmed but still polite and nice! Salads are tasty , Cocktails are less alcoholic than they should!!

A friend recommended this place, I am glad we went. We sat on the patio which was cute. The food was great, for starters we had their buffalo cauliflower, it was so good. Me and my husband split the chicken and ribs, that crispy coating on the chicken was fantastic and the ribs were melt in your mouth. The in house hot sauce was amazing and we wished we could have taken some home. Our waitress Sam was super nice and had excellent recommendations. All in all it was a perfect dinner and a really great way to end our last night in Montreal.

We really liked the food and the drinks, and the place is absolutely gorgeous; the prices are also reasonable; the only problem is that the staff were not at all friendly and personally I didnt feel completely comfortable, I mean I didnt even feel welcomed let alone more than that, lol

Although there is only a small space in the restaurant, the environment is comfortable and the staff are polite. The food is very good. The steak at Steak Salade is very tender. It was my first time to eat smoke meat poutine because smoke meat is also a famous delicacy in Montreal. Zhang has two local delicacies. It s really first-class together. The last thing you must eat is the famous French dessert creme brulee. They also make it very well.

Covid-19 takeout update: The last couple weekends weve gotten takeout meals from their special menu - fried chicken, smoked meat, and poutines - and its safe to say theyve stepped up big time. The fried chicken is awesome. Super crispy and juicy, you get a nice mix of dark and white meat, and I personally love the spicy fried. The smoked meat is legit! In a city where thats not something to take lightly, the house made beef is so damn good. On dark rye, with a big dill pickle and fries, this is comfort food. Everything held up well and was hot when we got it home (10 minute drive), and our orders have always been ready super quick - 15 minutes usually! Really great little spot. A good selection of hand-made cocktails, and a well-curated collection of whiskey and beers. Great staff, and a friendly atmosphere. The food is quite good, and quick, and the desserts are sooooooo good!

Everything is really delicious!

We were really looking forward to this place. We got 4 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 desserts for 2 people to sample a wide variety. Duck was overcooked, too little sauce for the salmon, chocolate cake lacked moisture and cocoa-ness. The beets and goats cheese were good as was the key like pie. The tomato and cheese had too little avocado puree and lacked seasoning. Nothing that impressive but average and total bill did not reflect value or quality.

The food was good. The service was fast and courteous.

wait-staff were really friendly, nice, and bubbly :) To start we had a crabcake, it was served warm and was crispy. my main mean was the falafel burger which came with fries and salad. also perfect temperature. overall healthy and great food. only issue, I would have liked the crabcake and falafel burger to have a little more spicy kick to it to create that party in my mouth tastiness :)

Ordered takeout and everything was perfect. It was ready exactly when they said it would be. Pickup was a breeze. Best fried chicken I have ever had and an unbelievable value for the price. Do yourself a favor NDGers, take a break from cooking and support a local gem.

We did take out last night and it was so delicious! Huge huge portions! I ordered the chicken and ribs with corn, gravy and mashed potatoes. I can eat a lot. So much gravy- which I love! The cajun was so good. Mash as well! My husband had the smoked meat and it melted in my mouth. We had so many leftovers we were able to have it for lunch the next day. Only thing that needs improvement is their poutine. No cheese curds- but that s ok as all their other food was on point. Friendly service- highly recommend. We will now be regulars!
