5669 Monkland Ave, Montreal, Quebec H4A 1E3, Canada
Oysters, seafood plates & surf 'n' turf flood the menu at this casual space with maritime decor.
The new Lucille's location avenue Canadienne across from the Bell Center is worth the visit. From the minute you walk in you're greeted by a laid but cozy yet upscale restaurant at the same time. The food is delicious from apps to mains the flavour is always perfection. Speaking of the staff—service here is impeccable. The waitstaff is attentive without being intrusive, offering great recommendations and ensuring the dining experience is flawless from start to finish. And finally to top it all off, their cocktails never disappoint with an extensive bar you’ll find the perfect drink to complement your meal. Yum can't wait to go back!
Very nice atmosphere, service, and great food. The grilled tuna was a little cold, Otherwise, everything was perfect. The restaurant is so popular, it is recommended to reserve a table in advance. We made a reservation on Friday for 5:15 (it was the first slot available online, the restaurant opens at 5), and a few minutes later the restaurant and the terrace were full.
This place is such a good vibe & heavenly gift for the seafood lovers, keeping in mind Montreal is not by the ocean so always accounting for that freshness bit which is why I give it 4 stars. Loved getting affordable oysters (albeit small) they hit the spot and satisfy the craving!!! The Caesar was an absolute DREAM come true. The lobster rolls delivered. I can’t wait to go back. We visited with a friend who had a newborn. And the staff were kind and lovely. Highly recommend. Lovely neighborhood
The food is absolutely delicious. Best steak I've had in a restaurant and at a very good price. The portions are big (plate and sides), so come hungry!
I heard great things about this restaurant, and decided to come give it a visit during my first visit to Montreal. We got seated right away, because we had reservations, however we did end up waiting for awhile to get our order taken, but staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both ordered half a dozen of the premium oysters and their dollar oyster special. Oysters were sweet and tasted amazing! We also ordered the lobster roll, fish and chips, and for dessert the chocolate mousse. First time eating a lobster roll, and I was very impressed and pleased with how it came. The bread was buttery and soft, a good portion of lobster and the mayo just tied it all together beautifully. Fish and chips were decent, but personally I found that there was too much batter, that I got tired of eating half way through one piece. Fries were mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse which tasted amazing and was the perfect dessert to end the meal. The atmosphere and vibe is dark and busy, but it was an amazing experience and I would definitely come back for their lobster roll!
We reserved a table for 2, we didn't wait long! Great and friendly hostess and staff. We ordered two dozen pearls, half dozen premium oysters, and jumbo shrimp cocktail....honestly the pearls were very disappointing not worth even $1 a piece. The premium were great and the jumbo shrimps were juicy. For main, we had two lobster rolls and grilled octopus... Both were amazing, but a bit pricy. The ambience was great, but the place can be cleaner. Overall, I give it 3.75/5!!
Great ambiance! The food was yummy and beautifully presented. The service was friendly. I had a really fun night! Love the way they do a Caesar with the shrimp, oysters and crab! Very cool! We also enjoyed $1 oysters…they were on the small side but very fresh. The octopus half order was more then enough and very tender. I also go to taste one of my friends ribs and it was also very tasty. I also tasted a roasted pepper which was lovely.
Good staff. Great selection of wine and drinks. I really liked the chic decor and the fun ambiance! It was a little bit cold in the restaurant and the dollar-oysters were tasty although small but nowhere in town can you get 1$ oysters on the weekend. I recommend this place for people who want an intimate happy hour (5@7).
Loved it!
I love Lucille s!!! No matter the place, the service is fantastic, the atmosphere incredible and the food always so good! The drinks are excellent! The restaurant is very small but that s what makes it even nicer! Cheers
Very good service
Restaurant with a well-stocked menu - lots of options - and the dishes we chose were all very tasty (tartare, carpaccio, oysters, bloody cesar, salmon, octopus). The seats at the oyster bar are great, good general atmosphere even if the restaurant itself is not very special in terms of look/design. Prices still quite high for a rather relaxed brasserie.
Great food and friendly service. Highly recommend
Always on top yum
Got sick from an off smelling oyster but it was my bad but only 4 stars instead of 3 because I should have said something instead of woofing it down like an animal.
I love this restaurant! And what about the service... a big WOW
Great burgers, trendy atmosphere, beautiful women... Perfect! Food
We really enjoyed the $1 oysters, however the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant unfortunately did not meet our expectations
Went there last week and a lady called Olivia was serving us. She was really sweet and caring. We had special instructions for almost all what we ordered and it was perfectly taken care of.
Great food, top notch service
I love this place! The food is so delicious. Never disappointed with the lobster rolls. AMAZING!
Purchased a burger at the monkland street fair today, and it was the worst burger I ve ever had. There was no line up, it was around 1:30pm. The burger was ready as soon as I asked for it and it was completely dried out, overcooked and tasteless. This was not a freshly made burger. The girl on the bbq must have been maybe 18. I do not want to judge her, but she was definitely not a chef. I paid $16. for a burger and lemonade, so the burger must have been about $10.? I threw it out and was beyond belief this is what they are selling. This was a Complete waste of my money. This restaurant has gone completely down the drain since 10 years ago. I will never go back. Also, not to mention that while I was trying to order and pay, the manager or owner of some sort was trying to fix their Lucille s sign for below their table and kept of moving in front of me between the table, totally unaware of my presence as a customer. I was the only one there and he could have waited. It was disrespectful.
Friendly staff and great food. Loved the 1$ oysters.
Not what used to be! Very slow service, you can tell the waitresses have no experience and clue what theyre doing . The hostess was non stop on the computer with our waitress. Waited 1 hour to get our meals . Had it to ask twice for our drinks . The calamari was good but come on 10 little pieces for 19$ ?! I ordered the fillet mignon medium well and it was overcooked, dried out! Same thing with the lobster . At least the dessert was good.
Love this place. Really good prices for what you get. Love the lobster rolls, probably the best ones Ive had in Montréal.
$1 oysters are forever one of my favorites, but the grilled octopus, cedar board salmon, baby back ribs, and grilled lobster were all excellent. Great chain with a style and ambiance similar to Houstons or Hillstone stateside.
Had a lovely dinner at Lucilles last night - the food was spectacular and the service was great. Highly recommended!
Great & friendly service . Our waiter was super attentive . Unfortunately the kitchen is not backing up the overall experience . My tuna tartare was very light on the tuna but more than made up for the missing tuna with too much onion - just awful!
Place is nice and the oysters were a bit pricey but good nevertheless. Their food tastes great!
A trendy place with good food, the Monkland location is better than the others More authentic Food
Love this restaurant
Worst service ever With an attitude don t recommend this dive as they call it
Never a bad experience, good is great, good service
Food was good - would have been better if there were more side options other than fries. Great service with a nice ambiance.
Always solid
Red lobster better and cheaper
FOOD: First time here and curious about the 1$ oyster special, I had to try it out. While I dont particularly consider myself an oyster expert, these were extremely small for the price and nearly no meat in each oyster. The presentation, and arrangement was great and the timing of the food provided was quite quick , I was a bit underwhelmed with the result. WINE: The wine selection was fairly limited and their entry level wines were a bit overpriced (starting at 70$) for a pretty standard bottle which was a twist cap and not corked. The server was very attentive but made us feel a bit rushed with our drink having them top up our wine glasses before weve even finished or want a refill on our own pace of drinking. While she meant well, my partner and I didnt like our glasses always filled every 5 min when were trying to talk. Overall, a decent experience but the oysters alone nor the drinks arent enough of a pull for me to come back with all things considered.
Excellent cuisine and impeccable service, what more could you want when you choose to go out on a summer evening and enjoy a beautiful terrace. This restaurant managed to amaze us and we will definitely come back.
Seafood Tower for $200 was Not worth it! Crab stuck to shell tells me it was cooked & stored for a couple days! Oysters were tiny & dry! Waitress dropped food & was gone. Should have had a Steak!
Apps were good. We had the crab cakes and Steak Tartare. Steak was over seasoned with so much sugar. The Caesar salad had barely any dressing on it and the lettuce was dry, the pickles were a weird component. Service wasn t great, we sat waiting to order our mains and order another drink well after we finished our appetizers. The busboy team was great and efficient.
Really the better one of them all
The ribs were not very good.
This is THE most overrated restaurant I ve ever been to. The food is poor quality. I had the surf and turf and couldn t finish my plate - even though I was starving - because it was so nasty. First of all the lobster roll is definitely not made of fresh lobster. It s some sort of canned fish and I m not even sure it s canned lobster. The baby back ribs was dry, overcooked and the bbq sauce tasted funny. The only thing that was fine was the oysters but how much credit can they take for that really? I wish I never set foot in that restaurant in the first place. Do yourself a favour, go eat somewhere else.
Had a lovely dinner at Lucilles Monkland location last night - the food was spectacular (I wish I could cook a bavette like that!) and the service was second to none - from the hostess, to our waitress and the busy boy - everyone was attentive, professional and friendly. Many other restaurants could learn a thing or two!
What can I say, Lucille s is not what it used to be. My experience is that expanding and going franchise model comes at a price. I took my father and husband out and the lobster roll was just okay and the roll was not fresh. The moules were not as good as Pizzedelic. It was decidedly a 3 star, not bad, just not great!
Bussboy Klyde nous a offert un excellent service! Raise this guy! Very kind and professional!!!
Food was amazing ! Service was exceptional by Ryan! Great food recommendation and great experience thanks to him!
I remember
Monkland is good
Out of hand. Fantastic time. Oyster were great. Service was top notch. One of the best place we visited while in Montreal. Drinks were good not pricey.
Very bad service! I receive my starter and it takes 1h30 after my starter before someone comes to see me to offer me a 2nd drink or even my 2nd dish!!! Service -1 same
Ordered 40$ lobster roll and it was rotten! So fishy and disgusting like sitting in fridge for days Never order on Uber again Food
My favourite place in all Montreal for seafood. Octopus is the best. Oysters are always fresh and so good. Seafood linguini, calamari, mussels and lobster rolls are amazing. Nice atmosphere. Book ahead because its always packed.
The meat was a success. Calamari was also good. The only problem is its very noisy.
The food is good, but inconsistent. I have had the same dish 3 tines. The first 2 times it was great and this tine it was completely different and not so good. The menu is limited. I dont think I will go again
Dollar oysters everyday cannot beat that. Service is attentive and excellent. I have tried various food items over my visits and I have never been dispointed. From steaks to lobster rolls, not a bad meal ever at Lucilles. It can get noisy at peak times. Mussels in cream sauce to die for.
Lucilles Oyster Dive presents a tantalizing paradox. The oysters themselves are undeniably exquisite, boasting freshness and flavor that dance on the palate. However, the service falls short, exuding a detached demeanor that clashes with the restaurants lively ambiance. Mandatory tipping, while not unheard of, feels discordant with the overall experience. While the culinary star shines brightly, the service leaves a lingering question mark, making a return visit a potential gamble.
Food is great - I often visit for special occasions. I personally recommend the rib-steak with sweet potato fries. Service is lacking - sometimes its great other times you can tell the staff are overworked. Overall - Expensive, but thankfully the food is good so Im content paying a premium price.
Great place with fresh oysters! the usually have the $1 oysters but they are on the smaller side. The premium are a lot better but a bit more pricey. Service was good, we always have a good time at Lucille s! Food
A little loud, but a great atmosphere and fab oysters.
Great food! Our waitress Leah was the best!
Overpriced food and bad service.
Tuesday January 2, 2024 ~6:00 p.m. Second visit to a Lucilles restaurant, and even though the dishes we ordered were good, I was disappointed by the lack of availability on the menu. There were no mussels, no clams, no whole lobster. Cuisine: As mentioned, there was a lack of choice on the menu, we came specifically for the mussels/clams and neither choice was available. I wanted to order a whole lobster and even that was not available. We opted for the seafood pasta, but when we asked what seafood would be in the dish (since we suspected there wouldnt be much), we were still mentioned mussels. in the end there was none... Only shrimp, squid and a few small pieces of octopus. Service: The waitress and restaurant team were very friendly. The service was fast. Ambiance: Good atmosphere with subdued lighting. It starts to get more people around ~7:30 p.m. Otherwise the restaurant is quite empty. In short, we were disappointed that we specifically chose Lucilles restaurant since it is a seafood restaurant, but the availability of choice was not there. When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess or waitress could have mentioned that there was a huge lack of choice on the menu and knowing that we would not have stayed and we would have come back another time. Other than that, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere pleasant. Thank you for having us.
The worst service I have seen in my life. Nice waitress, but clearly incompetent. Mistakes on top of mistakes, waiting and waiting as we clearly see her behind the bar chatting away. Nonchalant manager on his cell phone constantly... really, Ive never seen that! The food, however, was exquisite! Too bad for the service.
Valentines Day evening, we had reserved for 7:30 p.m., presented at 7:45 p.m., we were refused because it was too late. We were told that we would have been called 3 times but no call on our mobile, although the right number. No solutions considered, very disappointing. A beautiful Valentine s Day evening wasted! Thanks to Lucille s We live in the neighborhood, first experience and last!
Its been quite a while that I have been dining and ordering from the Lucilles Monkland location. Last night was the last straw. When the food arrived at my house, not only was food missing, but I didnt get what I ordered for my wife and I. We got completely different dishes than we ordered and food was missing as well. It seems that the cooks, the chef and the people running the restaurant have little to no regard for customer service and providing a quality product. I highly recommend to never attend the Lucilles Monkland location, especially when you have other choices in the area, or go to any other Lucilles location (Laval, Quartier Dix30 or Fairview).
A great night at a great restaurant! We ate a series of entrees, it was a flavour explosion! We highly recommend Lucille s, for oysters and more! Another visit, another great evening!
Excellent food, very good service, a little bit pricey. But so is everything these days.
cocktails were good, my one pound of crab legs was brutal, my wife had chicken verry good, tipped well and ended up going to lafleurs for hot dogs and that was yummy
There was a misunderstanding in the seating but they made up for it beyond expectations: and food was just amazing: from oyster to tartar to calmari and tacos: everything was just amazing
Good seafood, ambiance, service. Food is nicely presented and drinks are made to liking. I knly wish they had a wider wine selection. Very friendly staff at the bar, great and efficient service. Make sure to get a reservation first, very busy, even on week nights.
Our waiter Devan(hope I have the right spelling) was awesome. Polite, friendly, helpful, always with a smile.
If you re lucky enough to be served a shot from Devon at this fine establishment then you ve hit the jackpot
Had an absolutely lovely time. Food was great, highly recommend the fried chicken & crab dip! Staff was so nice with very fast service. Ask for Devon, hes the greatest.
When paying for small orders, remember to corroborate the amount on your receipt with that on the payment terminal; They go through it slowly.
We had a great experience, as always. Im not a fan of their seafood tower, but the rest was absolutely enjoyable. There is a bar section, so make sure you reserve if you want a proper table.
Very nice decor, the food was great. Friendly service.
Had the fish and chips....was not the great. Too doughy and really didnt taste much fish. The crab dip starter was great!
Cozy place and the food is great
Arrived on time for a 7pm reservation. The place was not busy at all, but the hostess seats us next to the kitchen, squeezed between two other tables. Of course, we asked to be moved. We started with the $1 oysters and the shrimp cocktail, then had the clam chowder soup and ended with the fish and chips. The oysters were incredibly small and not meaty. Price was right but everything else was wrong. Not a repeat. Even at $1 each. 1/10. The shrimps were excellent. 6 for $24. Pricey but delicious. But a very small dollop of awkwardly placed and difficult to reach cocktail sauce that we had to use sparingly. 7/10. The clam chowder soup was excellent. A large bowl of creamy chowder filled with an assortment of seafood and potatoes for $14. 9/10 The last was the fish & chips. Two generous pieces of battered and deep-fried fish served on a bed of french fries, with a side of tartar sauce for $26. Tasty, but too greasy for my liking. 6/10 The decor and ambience were nice, but the service was mediocre at best. In fact, the bus boy was more attentive than our waiter. The original seating turned me off and we had to ask for oyster forks and malt vinegar. No special treatment was felt at any time during the dinner. I guess thats why they call it a Dive. Overall experience was a 6/10.
Food is great usually but would have ordered more food and drinks if waiter came to check on us more often. Steaks served without steak knives and most requests were only handled after things served wrong. They ve done much better in the past though so I think it was just a really off night. Too bad was a friends birthday.
We are a lovely evening at Lucille s. We ordered the Seafood Tower, beef tartare and Calamari. Everything was perfect!
Good place. Actually the best one of all the Lucille s, for some reason we tried the other ones in Brossard and in Laval and felt like we were eating in a factory. This is the original place and retains the charm of the Lucille s I remember. The food is good, good variety of beers on tap, they took the bavette off the menu last time I went but that s ok the menu is actually pretty good and they have various price points depending on your hunger and budget. Oysters are always good to start.
It was really good but a bit packed for a small place. Kinda expensive but we knew what we where getting into. Overall a good experience.
Wonderful place, very good fish, fast and warm service, and not as expansive as I thought it would be! I will come back for sure! Food
Very great ambiance and even better food. Highly recommend coming here for date night with your s/o. The beef tartare is very good and all the food is super fresh. Great service and staff.
Great place if you love oysters
Great service, delicious food.
LOVED IT! We got their speciality Caesar which came with a shrimp, oyster and crab leg. They also have 1$ oyster special. We also got the lobster rolls, grilled octopus and tuna tartar. I highly recommend going here!
Ate here tonight, had a great experience!!! The octopus salad was incredible, seafood tower was super yummy and fresh (except for the lobster unfortunately). The hostess working tonight was super sweet, welcoming, and professional. The entire staff was really friendly and accomodating, I dropped a glass and they were super sweet and didnt give me any dirty looks, much appreciated because I was very embarrassed
The mussels were excellent. The service was disappointing.
It was my first time at this restaurant, I went with my boyfriend and we sat by the window, as requested online which we were happy about. The restaurant exceeded our expectations! Its one of the only places, if not the only, that still has $1 oysters and they were good! We shared 20 oysters and the lobster rolls and fries main. It wasnt enough to stuff us, but for how hungry we were it was perfect. The fries were crispy and came with a solid spicy mayo. The lobster rolls were packed and extremely fresh and crunchy. The service was fast and the staff were very nice! We were in and out in less than an hour and very satisfied. We will be returning.
Monkland branch: Disagreeable and disrespectful bartenders and a wait staff that seemingly wants to get rid of its customers by 9 pm. As we finished our bottle of wine after dinner and declined dessert, we were given the bill and terminal to pay without being asked. Assembly line dinner service? So we were needlessly rushed through our meal and as we left, there wasn t a diner in sight waiting for a table. The poor service was bordering on comedic except the meal for 2 was 200$ and the food was mediocre. Montreal has many fabulous restos and this isn t one of them.
Restaurant was awesome!! Great service and food was soooo delicious.Everything was so fresh, loved the NY strip so juicy, lobster tails were so tasty.Only reason Im not giving it 5 * is next time you go there look around, what a demographic of employees, NOT ! All pretty under 25 staff in mini skirts and crop tops ... With a 200$ tab for 2 I would expect a higher caliber of uniform than a Hooters. Lucilles wont be hiring any middle-aged overweight person anytime soon thats for sure he he.Sidenote; water bottle at the table was nice but would be nicer cold.
Asking for a medium rare steak, receiving a slightly overcooked steak, returning it to the kitchen to finally recieve a steak that is overcooked. The waitress that served us was professional and provided an excellent service. The waitress that collected the bill payment at the end was toxic and unprofessional (looking the tips, commenting on it and inappropriate behavior).
This place for oysters and ribs, Local 75 for burgers. Cant beat that Monkland is the place to hang out. Food
Weekly Thursday night spot for a great Kansas cut Steak, delicious cheeses mashed potatoes and a few too many Blonde Lucille Drafts.
Very good restaurant in the heart of Monkland. We waited a bit to be seated but there were a lot of people and the management very kindly offered us drinks to thank us for waiting. Adorable ! We had the grilled octopus, delicious!!! For this dish alone I will come back with pleasure.
Always a great spot, food, service and the drinks are amazing
Food was ok, I ordered the ribs that arrived cold but was quickly replaced. The 1$ oysters were small but still worth it. Fries were good and service was excellent.
Loved the oysters! The service was great.
On a Sunday night, the restaurant was moderately full. I love the slanted mirrors so you can check out the rest of the establishment. One thing I remember, though, is that our waitress ( who was excellent) referred to us a couple of times as my loves. I found that a little awkward. I know I am being a little bit picky, and I dont recall her name, so shell have to figure out who I am, and I appreciate everything else that she did. It doesnt take anything away from my excellent experience. Oh, and she highly recommended the grilled octopus salad, which was amazing. Thanks for that young lady.
We came here to celebrate Mother s Day. I called them around afternoon if I could book on the same day for dinner and they were very accommodating. We enjoyed the food so much! We will surely go back to this place.
Food is great There needs to be a salad option with some mains (lobster rolls) Not kid friendly Not handicap friendly
Hair came out of the lobster roll and the waitress said they gave us a new one so no apology or compensation and I will never eat there again.
Amazing restaurant. All of the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The servers are wonderful and I highly recommend this place. Get the filet mignon or the grilled lobster.
Great service and food
First time at Lucilles, Food was Great, All four of us enjoyed our meal. Good choice of wine. Eloise served us and was very professional. The coffee was really good, the only drawback of the evening was the desert dept, guys you have to up your game! Just plain bland Sorry but true
Wonderful food options. The waiter and busboy were extremely good at their jobs. They checked on us frequently, offered good advice and followed up on requests.
Food was exactly as expected , we only took oysters, the hostess was super attentionate even during a full rush hour and restaurant, Service was qwick and efficient front getting a seat to out drinks to getting the table cleaned and the bill Wonderful experience. Even with a full restaurant
Excellent as always! Great service at the bar!
The linguine was really good, and i ordered oysters, lobster rolls and the salmon. Very tasty
Food is goooddd, french fries are sooo goood, not too expensive compared to other restos. OYSTERS must try, it is also cheap. Service: the serve was nice, our water was filled everytime. this type of service is appreciated. atmosphere: it s packed so you might not hear people if you guys are 6
We had a fantastic time at Lucilles. We had to wait a bit for the terrace, but we had the perfect table. Our server was one of the best Ive had in a while - very attentive and gave helpful suggestions. We ordered oysters, 2 starters and 2 mains, and we enjoyed everything. If anything, the salmon tartare was a bit underwhelming, but perhaps only because everything else was so good. We had joked that we would get more oysters for dessert, but we were too full once we got to that point. We will be back!
Overrated, food was mediocre.
Dont confirm to people you have a spot from them then refuse them when they arrive effectively wasting their time. So we had a reservation for two and called to see if we can come earlier, which the person confirmed saying yes we have room for you. 10-15minutes later we show up but the hostess changed her mind and said no we dont have any room and basically discrediting us when we told her we confirmed with her colleague like 10min prior. There were available spots and people leaving and our initial reservation was in the next 30minites so there was no obvious reason why she refused us a spot. What made the whole thing worse was how rude she was, which was quite disheartening cus we never had a such a rude interaction with any of Lucille employees and we did all of them in Montreal and Laval, with this one being our go to for the past 3-4years.
Holy kamoley the food here was out of this world! We came on a Sat evening and were seated right away. The service was excellent from start to finish. Prices per dish were reasonable and portions were generous. We especially loved the $1 oysters! Get the grilled octopus salad; you won t regret it!
Never been there before. Heard a lot of mixed reviews. Honestly quite happy with the experience and the food. Must try it out. Planning on going again
We ordered our dishes before the restaurant started to get busy during dinner hour and the ones who sat and ordered after us were served their main dishes before my friend and I. Prices are way too expensive for such little portions. The only good thing I can comment are their $1 oysters. Wont be returning here.
Ordered the full Playeau du fruits de mer. Came with one lobster, one crab, 8 shrimp, and 18 raw oysters. Pretty tasty but also pricy. We also ordered the mussels which had phenomenal sauces.
A bit loud but great overall!
Absolutely do not recommend, unless you like eating salt by the spoonful. We ordered the lobster tail, rack of lamb and and a green salad. Each meal was drenched in salt, and had a nasty flavour I had to return the mojito I ordered as well because it tasted rotten. I m not a picky eater and usually celebrate meals as it s a privilege to be able to eat in at restaurants, but this experience was utterly disgusting. Our server was sweet though. He did admit that we weren t the first to complain about the same thing.
Delicious food and great service
Very correct
Great sea food, nice ambiance. Loud music.
Great seafood
Amazing food
Lucilles Oyster Dive in Montreal is a standout dining experience. The lobster rolls are a must-try, showcasing the true taste of lobster without drowning in mayo. Their oysters are equally impressive. The cauliflower and burrata with truffle sauce offer a delightful twist, and the tuna tartare exceeded expectations. Lucilles Oyster Dive is a spot where every dish speaks to their commitment to quality and flavor.
My bf and I had a fantastic experience at Lucilles Oyster Bar in Montreal. The $1 oysters were delicious, and I couldnt stop ordering more. The cocktail sauce was a perfect match. The steamed mussels in white wine sauce were absolutely delicious and the highlight of the meal. The salmon tartare was also amazing. I highly recommend trying the mussels - the sauce was truly exceptional.
Great food and service! Grilled octopus salad and the lobster roll were excellent!
The grilled shrimp salad....Mmmmm
Good food, ambiance was decent. Service was alright. A bit pricey for the value of the overall experience.
Thank you Shawn for creating an unforgettable experience. Great food. Great service.
Beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service, we feel a great team spirit with a lot of coordination, not to mention the dishes which are worth the detour. To do again
There was nothing to complain about the food, I just didnt find it great. Good sized portion for the price. Well prepared. Place is a cramped, but doesnt look bad.
OILIVA was rude and was demanding tip after she already had 15 % and we ordered a Togo and she still demanded a tip
Worst service ever with Olivia she telling me how much to tip food was delicious
Yet another successful outing at Lucille s
The food is good, but portions are small
Ive never been to an Oyster Bar, and was very pleasantly surprised. I was there celebrating my birthday and had the salad with shrimp and avocado, delicious! And I did try the oysters, also delicious.
20 min drivers waiting in the restaurant to make the order ready really bad
Just love this place, Keep up the good work.
This place is overhyped. At this price point, you have lots of great restaurants in Montreal. The food is not great. I have been there 3 times and have been disappointed the 3 times. Too expensive for the average quality that you get. Service is ok at best. It s unfortunate because the restaurant decor and vibe is nice and the lobster rolls are amazing. If I do go back I will stick to the lobster rolls.
Great service, the food was good and the 1$ oysters are worth it! Will come back again for sure
Delicious food, great drinks.
Great restaurant in a nice suburb of Montreal. $1 oysters are not worth it, but their premium oysters are very good. The lobster roll was amazing, and hubby had the steak. The service was great. Place is not easy to find because they only have a fancy L on the outside.
the portion of the food is very small comparing to the price! I just recommend the oyster , to be honest other foods doesnt worth it! we get the fried calamari and crab salad , super small portion!! Food : 3/5
Had a good experience dining in, usually love Lucille s. However, portion size of the calamari is a total rip off don t order it. See below what $20 gets you (we placed an order to go).
Best seafood I have had in a long time. We had the mussels, oysters and calamari and they were all delicious. Great service and atmosphere.
Our server gave us the best Amoretto sours. He was very polite and very nice ...forgot his name, but he was in Galway Ireland in August...so he will know who he is. Thank you.
Outstanding service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I went to eat at this place and the food and ambiance were good but when it was time to pay the waiter was literally in my neck. I was pressured and made a mistake with the tip and asked her to restart the transaction and she kept insisting asking if the service was good but she was asking in an arrogant manner as a way of telling me to tip her more. I increased the tip and paid then she had the audacity for to tell me it. Should have been more because this is a big restaurant. It was extremely rude of her and the people at my table were shocked too. I understand the importance of a tip which is why I gave it to her but it should not be requested in this kind of manner. I felt also as though it had to do with my skin colour the way she was treating me but that s okay. I however don t agree with her requesting for a higher tip! The servers need to do better! Thanks
