We love this place, but more importantly, our extremely picky eater loves the pizza here. Now thats saying something! Delicious crust, beautiful sauce, yummy toppings. Its not Italy but its so close. Ive also had some of their pastas which are so good, too! So excited that we can finally go back! Cin cin!

One of my favourite spots in Montréal, the Pizza here is very special, so delicious. Real CUCINA ITALIANA . Light cheese not salty, the pizza is very light . Very friendly team and welcoming . Highly recommended

My girlfriend and I entered the restaurant because the atmosphere seemed pleasant and the pizza looked good. We didnt have a reservation, but we were seated immediately. Unfortunately, after 15 minutes at our table, no one came to see us, not even for a glass of water. I understand the lack of manpower and I have no problem waiting for my plate, but a glass of water or a beverage is the basis of the service. For the first time in my life, I left a restaurant without having eaten. Disappointing.

The dishes are refined (pizzas and gnocchi), good wine is served in this restaurant and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere is neat, but relaxed. A nice place to eat well! Ps: The pizzas are cooked in a wood oven and we can see it from our tables, a big advantage

Ordered a margherita from here and was quite disappointed. The crust was burned and there was almost no cheese on the pizza. It was so light I was still hungry afterwards.

The number of times Ive tried to go eat a Pomodoro. Finally I got to eat there, and believe it was worth all those fail times. Everything was great, the service the food. Definitely recommend eating here.

Borderline tourist trap! It is said to be know for Pizzas. We didnt try pizza, but everything we ordered was frozen/reheated supermarket products or at most, mediocre. We paid some 60$ for a lasagna and a risotto. The lasagna was a mini portion, supermarket frozen product with canned tomato and fake parmesan cheese on the top of it! I wouldnt mind eating this in a fast food place, but for 30$?! The risotto was also small portion, and it was the most mediocre risotto a first timer can cook.

The best pizza in Montreal I have traveled and eaten pizzas all over the world and the pizzas at Pomodoro are very good, especially the dough! Vincenzo the waiter is adorable and kind to all the customers

The waiter brought us the receipt without us asking for it, then he brought the Interac machine for us to pay without us asking for it. That made us feel like being kicked out after we ate there.

Sorry , but the meatballs were undercooked, and the sauce was RAW !!!! Too much basilica , and the pasta bolognese was pork meat !!! Terrible pizza with Buffalo cheese was amazing, but the margerita was bland. Paid 136$ take out, and i gave it 4/10 . Nothing beats NAPOLETANA RESTAURANT on Dante st., nor DA BAFFONI S which closed down years ago.

I m sure the restaurant is OK, if you can get in. Please don t try to go with kids if you don t have a reservation. I tried to go with my wife and 5-y-o daughter. We were told there were no seats available. Shortly thereafter, once we d ordered the plainest of pasta (spaghetti with just butter because that s what the kid eats) to go, and paid $20 for it, a party of 3 arrived and was seated by the hostess. We asked if they d had a reservation and were told no. You can imagine our reaction to that. For a restaurant that s family run, it certainly does not seem to put any emphasis or value on families. Silver lining: kid liked the pasta. That s a $20 win!

Took the crudaiola pizza and it was great. Loved the thin crust and the tomato sauce was just right. Service was good too and it didnt take long before the food came.

first Italian restaurant in mtl with fam. we waited to sit. all i can say is i am happy we waited the short 5 mins . all the plates being served looked so tasty and we were not sure what to order!! my wife asked the waitress what was good for real cause we don t like fake Italian food. she told us the food was homemade and with love so to order what we love to eat. man oh man. 4 pizzas with a chicken parmesan ital style proved her right!! the food and service was beyond! the waitress cared for us the same way she described the food ! amazing staff and amazing diavoletta pizza!

The food was fantastic ! More importantly the owner was a gentleman and the service was just as exceptional ! They accepted 8 of us and made it happened toward the end of the evening. Highly recommend to anyone .

Finally the real Italian pizza, as we eat it in Italy! Very very good and light! Good atmosphere, friendly staff. I always go back with pleasure!

Very difficult to surpass perfection other than pointing out that every experience there is better than the previous one, and if you take into consideration the fact that the starting point, many years ago was already way past incredible, this is no small feat. It all comes together, thanks not only to the great menu, atmosphere and environment, but to the exchanges full of authenticity with Vincent, who makes every visit to this wonderful place more than just dining Can t really pick a favourite meal; everything is awesome, pasta in simple tomato sauce (my judging standard), pizzas, cheese-and-pepper gnocchi?All great. The place is a significant part of my universe.

Excellent pizza, I have eaten a lot of pizza in Montreal and I can say that Pomodoros is one of the best on the Island!!! Very surprised.

I am floored on how good the pizzas are... Im almost ashame of myself not knowing this place before...every ingredient they use seem carefully selected to be the highest quality. The balance of saltiness and flavor A1.. The best in Montreal!! Last time i had a pizza this good was on a San Marco beach in Sicily

Not very good, didnt taste fresh like italian pizza should, and the cheese was kinda spread all over and over melted instead of in small spots like it should. It would probably have helped also if the bottom of the dough was not burnt all over the pizza. It was not horrible, but definitely not good either. Looked nothing like it does in their promotional pictures.

You have someone exceptional in your home (Vincenzo) who loves his job and what about dinner. We were chatting among ourselves at dinner and someone asked me the question of 10 what should I wear? Well a 12 out of 10 Congratulations to your entire team!

Just had the best pizza crust in Montreal. Sauce/toppings also very good, but crust is the star. Im a pizzaiolo myself, Italian, and I was pleasantly surprised. Good service as well. Good job

Fantastic from beginning to end. The decor is warm and inviting. The service is extra friendly and attentive. The portions are generous but what we enjoyed most was the unique variety they serve. We all agreed we will be returning for more. Cant wait!

Ate a very good wood fired pizza lunch last week on my visit to Montreal. Other Italian dishes looked yummy. The waiter was excellent. Relaxed and lovely atmosphere with linen table clothes and soft natural and good indoor lighting so much nicer than a walk in pizza place with harsh lighting, noise and ugly tables. For this you pay more and its in line with good restaurant pricing. Recommend

Had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant with my wife today. although the menu was limited as it was F1 weekend, the pasta was excellent, service was top shelf. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Pomodoro was one of my favorite restaurants; but now what a disappointment. 1- when we started ordering, I ordered a pizza thinking it was vegetarian, when it arrived I realized there was meat, I mentioned to the waiter that I dont eat meat , and his reaction stuns me: he rolls his eyes at me, lets out a sigh of exasperation, and says to me with an insolent air: EUUFT Im sure I wont take her back to the kitchen shocked I ask to see the waitress; same reaction, she rolled her eyes and said to me of course Im not going to take it back, its like throwing $20 in the trash at this point I said its correct, Im going to order another one , but we wont eat this one thank you, she tells me that she refuses to take it off the table, and that she will charge me twice. Finally my brother speaks to the manager and they agree to finally take back their pizza and charge us only half the price (which I find ridiculous, I have never been charged for a mistake like that) 2- my brother, my husband and my sister order squid, when we taste it we realize that they are extremely salty, so much that our throats burn. When they make the remark, the waitress once again comes back with an unpleasant attitude, we tell her that everyone on the table thinks that the squid is too salty, one of the waiters himself tells us that this is quite a criticism repeated; At this moment, still with so much misplaced attitude, the waitress rolls her eyes at us, agrees to take them back, and says to us: Well, Im going to taste it at the back and then theyre going to judge whether youre right or not; then we will see 3- the quality of the dishes was mediocre. I loved going to this restaurant before, I loved their dishes, I loved the atmosphere, but I am very disappointed with the experience I had yesterday. It deteriorated

The food is delicious - I don t think I ve had better pizza anywhere else in Montreal. The service was wonderful too, very friendly and attentive staff. The only thing I didn t like was the decor and music, but the food and service made up for it.

Great! The restaurant is very nice. We were a group of about 30 so we were seated in a private room. It was cozy yet spacious. The pizza, pasta and arancini were delicious. The staff was very friendly and polite and the service was great!

Totally desepointed We were ther as a groupe to celebrate my friends Birthday the appetizers werent fresh The pasta was very sticky and avrage taste. Not recommended . Much better restaurants in walking distance
