The poutine was way too salty, the fries tasted burnt. Uses frozen vegetables, a little disappointing. The other poutines were less salty, perhaps just an exception. Light flashing, it was annoying. Good service! But the poutine was really bad, I only ate it out of politeness to others. I prefer the beautiful province or fries then, or even that of the McDonalds. Yes, the one from McDonalds, even if it would be lukewarm and soggy. I dont recommend.

Doordash delivery from Poutineville promises TWO MEALS for ONE ORDERED. But we ONLY RECEIVED ONE meal. It was written in red for promotional purposes, but not kept.

Love this place. Great beer and poutine. Try the crushed potatoes with wine sauce! The smoked meat seemed more like ham but was still pretty good. Can get expensive though so watch what you order!

Make sure they charge you the right price for what you order, they get confused sometimes about the price difference between a regular hotdog and a jumbo hot dog

Did a Google search for Poutine while staying in the area and this restaurant popped up. We picked up 2 orders and both were excellent overall. One dish was the veggie poutine and the other was regular poutine, both were delicious but both had very minimal cheese curds. This was our only complaint as you expect poutine to be filled with cheese but sadly it was slim pickings. Overall a great choice, glad we gave it a try. We would definitely return next time we visit Montreal.

I visited Poutineville Queen Mary on a quiet Wednesday evening at 4 PM. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table occupied. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. There appeared to be only one waitress, Natalia, who served us promptly when we arrived. However, after taking our orders, she seemed to disappear. We waited quite some time for our food, which was surprising considering we ordered a simple burger and a sandwich. Natalias attitude was disappointing. She was dry and uninterested when we tried to engage in conversation. At one point, we found her in the back, engrossed in her phone, completely ignoring the dining area. The lack of attentive service was frustrating. We needed more ketchup for our fries (which came as a side with our burger and sandwich), but Natalia was nowhere to be found. The restaurant provides ketchup in packets, which is inconvenient and annoying. The overall quality of the food was underwhelming. Nothing stood out, and I expected more from this place. The food took quite some long time for a simple burger and grilled chicken sandwich. I wont be returning to Poutineville Queen Mary. The lackluster service, mediocre food, and Natalias indifference left a lasting impression. There are better options in Montreal. If you decide to visit, I hope your experience is better than mine! Parking: Paid parking on the street. Hard to find parking, full most of the time.

came here for poutine. They have their premade versions or you can order a custom made poutine. I really enjoyed the pepper sauce. Service was great, our waitress was really helpful. The only bad thing was the classic poutine sauce. Had a bad funky smell to it and my wife got sick when she got home. Would not recommend the classic sauce.

As for the atmosphere, by far my favorite Poutineville address in Montreal. Spacious, beautiful light shows (especially in the evening) and the place to order at the back of the restaurant immediately makes you think of a well-stocked bar! Friendly and helpful staff. Fast service. Well maintained. I ordered a Montreal poutine and the portion was so huge that I still had almost half left! The kind clerk handed me a lid so I could take the rest home. Frankly, overall, I really enjoyed the experience (despite the fact that the main toilet was not working). Ill come back!

Won t let us dine in because we ordered 2 meals for me and my wife (with a cane and knee brace since she hurt her knees badly) through the app, the reason: we serve in beautiful plates, if other customers come and see takeout, won t look good, because we serve in BEAUTIFUL PLATES . Since it was 10 pm and they close at 11 pm on a rainy night, there was literally NO ONE in the street or inside the restaurant. My wife even requested since she has her leg hurt, if he d consider and his reply was NO, I don t think any restaurant would allow you

I highly recommend this place. Everything is so good there . Chicken wings is a MUST! And the poutine of course! So many different varieties to choose from. Go see Jimmy (onwer). He is super nice! Even all the staff that works there are amazing!

The poutine at Poutineville is just so good. We are fans of the classic and it does not disappoint. The gravy is excellent and those crushed fries are a nice touch. Plus the price is excellent since even the regular serving is quite large. There are tons of options also for all tastes. However, I was disappointed on my most recent visit when they included plastic cutlery in my takeout order without asking. I always aim to support places that are eco-friendly and I really hope that they stop using plastic cutlery and not include it by default. I will hold off on returning till this is changed.

We ordered two poutines on Uber. 45$ total. They were barely filled. You can see the end of the bowl- Bf ate it in 2 minutes and I was still hungry as well afterwards.... Food : 1/5

It doesnt make sense to be so scratchy. The fries were burnt and the bowl was not even filled. Other restaurants fill the bowl right up to the cover. I feel like I just donated to this pitiful restaurant.

Second experience in Poutineville after Bishop (see review there, it is very good). The Quebecois was very good (title) but the Poutineville specialty unfortunately didnt convince me, a wine sauce which is less good than the traditional sauce and which completely overwhelms the taste of the fries. There are at least two teams in this city, La Banquise or Poutineville, well Im not from either of them, my quest for the best poutine continues, so subscribe.

The restaurant is Very accessible, nice with tables available, I visited one which is in Quebec and I see differences in the menus, but in the end I found good food, and very good service from the girl who welcomed us, highly recommended, I will definitely return.

Maybe my first mistake was ordering something other than a poutine. The all dressed sub came with two slices of tomato, and two pickles. There was no distinguishable cheese in it, and the steak was dryer than a desert. There was no form of seasoning, the sub tasted like nothing but the store bought salad dressing they give you on the side. Without that it would be inedible, honestly. When I finally had a bite of the coleslaw, I thought to myself, well at least they are consistent... Consistently bad. The coleslaw was the equivalent of dry sawdust, with again, zero flavor. Took one bite and spit it out. This all cost 23 bucks by the way. Ive been to poutineville dozens of times for poutines, which are pretty good actually, but for your sake, I recommend steering clear from anything that isnt a fry or a poutine here. The waitress who took my order was very kind and approachable, no issues with service whatsoever. Hugely disappointed and unlikely to come back. Theres no soul, theres no love here.

The cheeseburger poutine (Poutine Week 2023) was really good. There are several choices of poutine and it is possible to personalize your poutine. There are also other dishes (grilled cheese, burgers, etc.) for those who dont want poutine. The service was very friendly and fast.

I ordered 2 regular poutines with Swiss cheese ( they forgot the Swiss cheese by the way), crushed potatoes, onions, mushrooms and smoked meat. First of all, the portions are way smaller than other restaurants such as Paulo & Susanne or La Banquise. One of the two poutines was way less full than the other!! The taste is good but the regular size is way too small for the price, very few mushrooms also.

Well worth a visit, the new all you can eat Tapas style menu on a Tuesday night is a very good introduction to the menu and is only $20. All the staff are very friendly and know how to treat a customer to a very pleasant evening out. Parking: The local authorities have recently changed the times you are allowed to park directly in front of the restaurant, but there is plenty of paid parking just a little further down the street. Kid-friendliness: I regularly see families in here with small children, and they enjoy the kids menu and the milk shakes. My kids, although older, enjoy the food.

Ask for extra cheese and received a poutine which I could count the cheese curds on my fingers. Also I m celiac so I rarely eat at restaurants cause of cross contamination so for me It was really a rare treat. Really disappointed.

Came to the restaurant at 9:25PM. They refused to serve us because they were closing in 15 min even though the store closing time was 10PM.

I go sometimes with my friends for the all you can eat poutines for 20$ on Tuesdays. They also have a special on ipas and trou du diables in glassesThe waitress is very nice and they play decent music. Only thing is you have to be careful with the poutines as if you eat too much you can be sick. My limit is 7 poutines haha

Orderded 3 times door dash . they always make mistakes on the orders, they when you call they apologize. last order was desaster ordered julienne fries, they sent me others, ordered mozarella, they gave me a boal of soup with mixed cheez few fries and tons of sauce. will not order from them .unless pick up.

Ordered make your own poutine to go. One was julienne and one crushed, both were delicious. We ordered bacon with ours and unfortunately a lot of pieces were undercooked fat, so be careful if you order it with bacon, might need to pick it out. Otherwise it hits the poutine needs.

The Large portions are very large, can be shared by two people (not that servers will tell you). The poutine itself is fine, nothing special, not terrible either. The fries are soft right out of the gate, not crunchy, but it looks as if this was intended. Worthwhile if you are not too picky about your poutine and want a big/shared meal for 15$.

Ive ordered from here a few times. The last time, we got one soupy poutine and one missing sauce! And then this time, I made the error of ordering chicken tenders --- which wound up being a few of those premade chicken patties cut in half and fried. They had the consistency of mattress foam. Never ordering here again.

Ok, I have had two poutines there, and both were terrible. After the first time, i figured I would give it a second chance. The first one was a regular poutine and the sauce tasted funny, when I commented on this, the person at the counter serving us, told us that it was because the cook was new and put too much powder in the sauce....so the poutine sauce is from a powdered mix...then a few months later , i figured i would try an italian style putine...same thing , sauce tatsed funny...like Chef Boyardee with clumps of ham in it...I asked the waiter what was the sauce...and he said... oh its a powder sauce, we just add water and little cubes of ham so the tomato sauce is also from powder...Now if you are going to charge 12 to 18 bucks for a poutine, do you really think the sauces should come from powder mixes? Ridiculous....I have had better potine at McDonalds...garbage place.

My tour de chapeau with mashed fries was great, tons of meat and the sauce was piping hot . Service was quick and polite. My only gripe is that my poutine was a little light on cheese curds.

Over-rated , way better poutines across the entire city at a better price, additives are bland , sauce is bland , size received at 20$ is laughable , though understandably this is a poutinerie getting wings is not ideal but they were not bad but for 12$ you would expect large wings not tiny inch wings and what supposed to be measured at 1/2 lb I got 4 tiny wings in what universe can 4 pinky sized wings equal a half pound? Never again cause its a rip-off

Went on a Sunday evening with the family. First time at this location. The food was tasty and fresh. The service was great. The place was quiet with more Uber drivers than customers. The chime from the takeout orders beeping every 30 seconds was annoying.steps to go down to the washroom are steep and could be dangerous for young kids or those with reduced mobility.

I love this place. The food is very unique and delicious, the fries are not as good, but everything else makes up for it. The atmosphère and music is so welcoming, and the service was astronomical.

First experience = Worst experience. Had poutine with extra topping as a dinner. My stomach was upset from the night and next whole day. I never recommend to go there atleast not on weekdays.

This is the best poutinery in Montreal. The owner is delightful and makes you feel so welcome. The servings are huge, price point is reasonable and beer on tap is excellent. I recommend the deep fried cheesecake for dessert!! Will try and come back here again before I go. Thank you so much!

My favorite Poutineville branch in Montreal! I often order a poutine with smashed potatoes and smoke meat and it is always better there. The meat and potatoes are never dry, unlike other branches. Lately, Ive mostly been ordering, but before Covid, I went there and enjoyed the atmosphere of the room.

I just ordered via Uber Eats, my house salad which is indicated with goat cheese did not have the slightest piece of goat cheese and the chicken plate did not have coleslaw, this is unacceptable

Seriously... Very disappointed! This restaurant had been praised to me and it was the first and last time I went there! Fried squid is overcooked or stretched intensely, really not edible. No table service once served, so no spilling of water or anything else. In the end, we were still charged for the entry and on top of that, a piece of cake for our childs birthday... Not to mention a liquor fountain half filled with ice for $4? So lets see! Really really disappointed....

Passing through Sunday 07/11 in the evening. First of all, covid measurement level: A gel dispenser at the entrance. But no request for the vaxicode, We arrived in 2 groups and even the other group had no requests. Food level: Good choice of poutine, large plate, choice of sandwich and burgers too. My poutine was huge and well stocked, maybe too much I also got a cocktail in a mason jar, very good too. Prices are reasonable. Nice bar with lots of alcohol choices. Natalia, our waitress was friendly and professional.

We had heard good comments about the poutine but our experience did not live up to them. The person taking the order spoke very little French. When taking the order by telephone we repeated our very simple order for 10 minutes until the employee lent the phone to another employee to take it back in full. Our poutines were really bland. The sauce had no taste. We all paid for extra cheese which turned out to receive a normal amount of cheese. Very soft onion rings. The service was cold inside the restaurant. Television which broadcasts only in English. $70 for 3 small poutines and two rounds, we expected better. We really tried to like it!
