Upon arrival we found the service a little disappointing... We had the impression of being a disturbance even though the restaurant was empty.. -The starter was ok (Tao chicken popcorn bites. -The Sangria was good (La belle Rose) -The meal was not good (grilled chicken wrap), it was cold, and the salad was not fresh -The fries were really good.

The bartender is very nice and handsome, I will come back every day ;)

A return to this restaurant for several years. A disappointment. The menu now only consists of burgers, fries and starters similar to those at St-Hubert. Chicken supreme and tartare have been removed from the menu. Deficient music: an oldies playlist from the 60s which spoils the hushed aspect. The service is not up to par. The person who served us yesterday is probably a beginner or inexperienced. Too bad because I really liked the place.

Be careful when you are served a spirit because you are charged twice the price mentioned on the menu... without valid explanations. The burgers could be better if the cooking of the meats was controlled... a steak as cooked as the asphalt in summer...

This place is extremely expensive for what you get. I had a tandoori special. It was like a boiled chicken breast with a pale pink hue. It had very little flavor. I would give this one a miss!

Come here for the drinks and the nice big terrasse with pretty flowerboxes, not the food. Huge 3.5 LITRE pitchers 35$ for Bud, 37$ for microbrew. 5 à 7 specials on Caesars $6.50 2oz bar rail drinks $9.50 Some of the apps like nachos and jalapeno poppers are quite good but otherwise a lot of the meatcentric menu is super heavy and a little dated. Needs some edits.

Impeccable service. On the other hand, the food is horrible. One of the worst burgers Ive eaten in my life. If I owned this restaurant, I would change cooks.

Expensive and not good. More than 30 pieces for a burger is really expensive to begin with, but if its not good on top of that, that really poses a big problem. In addition, the burger didnt really match the menu description. Even my friend who was with me found his dish bland and that it also really lacked sauce and taste. The service was OK, but on the other hand we really need to stop this very bad habit of displaying a minimum tip of 18% on the machines to pay. Its not a simple incentive to give more, its forcing and its really not professional at all. Finally, the atmosphere was just absent. So theres just nothing to say on this point. In short: Nothing to see, move around! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian burgers.

Too expensive and not good

What a gem of a find! From the cozy ambiance of Rebel Brasserie Urbaine to the delightful dishes, everything was spot-on. But what truly stood out was the service we received from Jericho. He was personable, gave excellent recommendations, and had this genuine enthusiasm that added a special touch to our evening.

I love going here, but the service was lacking. Wait staff wasnt prepared, forgot parts of the order, and was generally chaotic. I would still highly recommend as the food and atmosphere are worth some chaotic moments.

Worst service ever.

Tonight, I ordered a Dry Martini, and when the server brought it I spotted a fly in my drink. I made the person aware of it, and they went away just to return quickly with the same drink. The fly was still on the brink of the glass. This was not appropriate, and I found it very disrespectful. I will definitely not return to this place.

The bar tender did not know how to make a uppercut shot and was fooling us with apricot vodka. When confronted he made the uppercut shot with the juice glass lower than the shot. That is super unprofessional. When confronted he was in denial and having an attitude. never go to this place unless.

A little disappointed with the dishes. The fries were cold. The only Californian Gallo rosé wine was pitiful. The salmon tartare is added with puffed rice seeds, why? The service is friendly. A Saturday night no more Fisher and Ship. I saw all the meats taken out of the freezer in the basement while going to the toilet. Its not cooking, its another burger restaurant on rue Sainte Catherine. Very poor value for money. It s a real shame because they have a large room, a beautiful bar, and a very nice terrace. The potential is not being exploited.

I will go back! The waitresses offered very good service despite the obvious lack of staff, very kind and professional. The exceptional food (especially the duck linguini). There were 9 of us and all the dishes were good! The great chef, who came to take a look at the table at the end .

I decided to give one star for the rooftop! It s the worst burger I ve ever eaten in my life, it s shameful to miss things like that. There were 7 of us, including Quebecers, the verdict is unanimous. the cook was not supposed to be there that day. Luckily for them we had paid before being served. good luck to those who are going to try the adventure.

Went with a group of seven. One friend went out for a minute, I joined him. Friends that stayed waited for 1+hours. When my friend and I got back I found out that they canceled my order! Without asking my group if I was coming back. I will not be returning here! The also tried to bribe us with shots were god awful they tasted like Listerine mouth wash! Will not be returning here. Also when they brought out the food, it was cold!

On July 5, 2022, we went to eat at Rebel and a waitress called Line spoke badly about our waitress called Marie on the terrace to her customers, in front of everyone, without restraint and without class. Our waitress left, in tears. The service she gave us was impeccable, and we went to comfort her in the street. We left, and we wont come back here. We do not encourage companies that turn a blind eye to situations like this. Bullying employees is deplorable and unacceptable. Sergakis should take the situation seriously and take action towards this Line, which really does not represent a good image of the company and which harms its image.

This establishment had my approval before Friday August 5, 2022. I became aware of an altercation between a waitress of a certain age (Line) and a young waitress (Marie) which was very inappropriate. The waitress Lynn made degrading, unfair and above all unprofessional comments about the young waitress Marie. The latter (Marie) left the restaurant in tears and the customers she served also left to console her. I had the chance and happiness to be served by Marie the previous Wednesday and her service was exceptional, fast, courteous and above all professional. I find it sad that the manager did not get involved and that the waitress Line continued to serve customers. The way I perceived things, the waitress Marie had to bear all the blame. Then we will come and say that there is a lack of staff. The way you treat your employees is unacceptable and you can be sure that I will never return to any of your establishments Mr. Sergakis as long as you do not show respect to the employees, because they are your reflection.

After booking. Restaurant closed! We were told that it s quiet, so we re closing!

My star is dedicated to the roof top...We ask for a burger, no salad, no tomato... But it arrives with salad and tomato...The carrot soup tastes like water, a tartar with tiraille, a lobster bisque....more of a tomato soup broth...that tastes like water...without even a small piece of lobster...$10...a $15 martini that also tastes like water. Really too expensive for the quality of the product...Very disappointing...

Dont go there! It took us 30 minutes to receive a glass of water! We were the ones who flagged down the waiter because he didnt come by himself. Bar service is slow! And the food.... undercooked hamburger and blue flank steak while the initial request is medium. The comments were made to the waiter, but he did not adjust the bill in any way... this is perhaps to compensate because the popularity of this restaurant leaves much to be desired (12 customers on a Friday evening)

Reservation made Tuesday June 1st to go Friday June 4th at 7 p.m. We had a show at the Golden Lion this evening which ends at 6:30 p.m. We arrive there at 6:45 p.m., to be told that they have canceled all reservations and that we received an email about the cancellation at 6 p.m. After verification E-mail which fell into spam unlike the reservation confirmation e-mail. We should check our emails every 5 minutes now in case our reservations are canceled.... No possibility of getting a table... waiting time of over an hour... no accommodation for employees. Well done for the customer service. You would be the last restaurant opened in Canada that I would not encourage.

We were a group of 8 and were very well served. The waiters took care of us and really spoiled us. The portions were huge, the prices were affordable and the food was good. The table d hôte was only 30 dollars. We will definitely go back!

The service was poor. There were only three tables occupied that evening and we had difficulty even getting water. The onion soup starter was relatively good. However, the flank steak was very disappointing, I dont know how you can make a piece of meat so salty.

Sangria Le Capitaine is my favorite here with friends as often as possible, especially when the weather is nice . Recommend the fish and chips and the beef burger , which is what I usually eat here. Friendly staff here know what I order since I am a customer for many years, and Rebel is only a short walk from my home.

The service was of poor quality and the waiter was rude and inefficient. When we noticed an error on our bills he pretty much refused to changed them and said it was easier this way if he didnt fix it. Extremely disappointed.

The quality is worse now, I ordered confit and duck breast, and I couldnt eat the duck breast, it was dry and tough...we loved this restaurant, but we wont be returning.

Rebel is an AMAZING restaurant! Everything from the service to the food to the wine and the live musicians was more than my family and I were expecting. Even the guests at the restaurant were extremely friendly and having fun. The atmosphere of the restaurant was extremely positive, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was not packed, but I think that improved our experience because the staff was very attentive. One of the musical performers started a conga line/line dance with the guests of the restaurant, which was a lot of fun and extremely interactive/interesting. I can keep praising this restaurant, but I feel like I can go on longer than youd like to read. PLEASE VISIT THIS RESTAURANT !!

Our first night in Canada and the service in this restaurant was amazing. Food was great. They went above and beyond with their service. As we walked up to the restaurant the hostess greeted us ,was super friendly and it got better from there. They had live musicians who were having a blast with the guest bringing people up to dance. We even formed a small conga line. Everybody was singing alone. It was quite nice.

The food was exceptional. The burger was excellent, as was the fishNchips. The service was courteous and fast, except when obtaining the invoices. Perfect little restaurant very well located. The prices are slightly too high, in my personal opinion.

Beautiful decor, subdued lighting surrounded by loud music whose repertoire leaves something to be desired, difficult in this atmosphere to enjoy the meal. We had two tartares, I felt like I was in a tapas restaurant but having paid triple the price for the mouthful. Four cubes of tuna dipped in a caramelized soy sauce, honestly really disgusting. In short, restaurant to avoid.

The food is on the expensive side for the quality of it! I ordered the beef tartar and when I received it I noticed that the beef was not a nice red color as is usually is and should be. The meat seemed to be old and was defiantly not worth the price. Ive been here 2 times and the last time was also very disappointing.

Tartare de saumon et thon beignent dans la mayonnaise et sans gout, carpaccio beignant dans lhuile. Trop cher pour ce que cest. Je je nappellerai pas pour réserver disons!!!
