La Bagatelle is a bistro on a human scale where the welcome is excellent and the dishes are succulent. The restaurant is baby-friendly. Sometimes you have to queue for brunch.

The food at this restaurant is always delicious. The Mtl à table menu is perfect for all tastes. There are several choices and the plates are really generous. A nice calm atmosphere without too much background noise because the ceilings are low so not too many murmurs. I highly recommend.

Unfortunately we had a group of young Asian girls as a neighbor who were quite wild and so noisy we could barely understand each other.

Nice restaurant, very good food however the service was a little too fast, we finished the meal quite quickly. For a romantic dinner its perhaps not the best place because its noisy. And the price is expensive, not for every wallet. Good thing we brought our wine.

Mtl à table excellent meal and service on Saturday. The only problem is that there is an echo which makes it noisy and takes away the atmosphere I usually llike...subdued and calm. Kid-friendliness: It is good for brunch. Went there with family including kids...we were 8. It is noisy however.

Our date-night spot when our 1-year old third-wheels. It s family-friendly, without it feeling too family . The food is delicious yet unpretentious, and it s awesome that we can bring our own wine. We do wish the lobster ravioli was available all year round. It s our baby s favourite! Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Love this restaurant! Second time going and was wondering if it would be as good as the first time. We were not disappointed! Not only did we enjoy it as much as the last time but we came with family that had never been here and they loved it! Same goes for some friends that we sent here a couple of months ago! I celebrated my birthday and there were around twenty of us at the restaurant. Only one person in the group was not very hungry and wanted to have just one dish rather than the whole table dhôte. The waitress forced her to take the entire menu anyway because we are a group , in addition to having an unpleasant attitude. The experience was unpleasant and we will never return there for sure. I understand that by forcing people to pay more, restaurants amortize their costs more, but is that a good calculation if in the end, customers come back less often (or never) because they feel like they are being to have? The food was OK, nothing more.

The cuisine is excellent and the service unparalleled. The portions are very generous and excellent quality. The only slightly negative point is that the tables are too crowded, we could help ourselves from the neighbors dish and it is very noisy. You can easily join the neighbors conversation! I will definitely return.

No problem dining parking in the area, great service, they even asked if we wanted English menus, the pouding chômeur is a definitely a must, they wait until you are all done with your meal before clearing the table, I found very respectful for the slow eater it really is a great meal for the price, well with it! Also stopped at the vinologue around the corner for a nice Quebec wine. Dietary restrictions: As a vegetarian there were many food options, thank you!

2024: duck ricotta ravioli, super delicious 2023: one more *. Quality of food and service are there. Succulent scallops, perfectly cooked. Very successful braised pork cheek. Crème brûlée and pudding chomeur: pure indulgence. 2022: Bistro cuisine: good portion, affordable price, good quality, varied menu. Another visit: yellowfin tuna tataki and papaya salsa, interesting idea but salsa not spicy enough, overall a little bland. Plate of foie gras, impeccable. Iced nougat with rum, alcohol very present but nougat without interest. Friendly service, beautiful presentation of the dishes, very noisy inside.

Excellent time. The food was great and the team was very friendly.

Authentic french food at a quiet location next to a park. This was my favorite place to eat in Montreal. The service was attentive, the fish was incredibly fresh, the desert was delicious. Even the tea was the best Earl grey tea that I have ever tasted. This is saying something as I am a tea fanatic, ordering tea from top places like Harney and Sons. I highly recommend Bagatelle Bistro!

Very good food and service

Very good food, only positive things to say, good welcome and good service

Best grilled cheese of my life. They took a comfort food and made it so much more upscale. With grilled pear and fresh bread, it was so good, I went back the following day for the same meal. I also loved their chai and really enjoyed the bowl option for coffees - huge but amazing. Next time Im in MTL, I will be back Dietary restrictions: Were great about allergies!

We have eaten here more than a few times and the experience is always pleasant, the food flavourful and quite simply ddlicious.

In my opinion on the Bagel plate...potatoes are not necessary...just a salad would have been enough! The dressing was too sweet to taste!

Wonderful lively bistro not far from the Biodome. I enjoyed grilled duck and my wife had salmon and beef tataki. BYOB. Super friendly service. Will go back. French and English spoken. Loved it!

I wish we could choose 6 stars - as that is what I would rate the service. It was truly amazing. It was important to the server to do everything right and she was remarkable in execution that made for a special evening out. The chef made me a special off menu vegan plate while my buddies all have their 5 fours tasting menu that was the biggest portions of quality food we have ever seen. Biggest, and just such great quality. Chapeau ! Excellent place to go and go back and back.

My husband always takes the braised veal cheek and I choose from the menu, we always take the tasting menu and the Bagatelle de terre starter, bring your extra wine which helps to reduce the bill, always a pleasure to be received at your home, thank you!!!
