This evening Jamie gave us perfect, attentive, thorough and professional service for our group of five. He showed great patience, great courtesy and remarkable attention.

I really loved the sirloin it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The staff and friendly and knowledgeable and the food came quickly.

A group of seven of us went out to dinner here, everyone had something different, and everyone was completely wowed with their selection. Fantastic service, a nice quiet dining experience, and absolutely delicious food!

Everything was perfect other than the exorbitant price for the amount of food you receive. The small plates are delicious though but chances are you will be leaving hungry if you have a large appetite.

We went to Montreal for a table, everything was delicious and the service was exceptional. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options for every course! Dietary restrictions: Im celiac and I had options at every service!

For Montreal at Table it was wonderful, I went back there with friends and my parents for 2 days. 4 courses for $65. I highly recommend

An incredible experience from start to finish! I started with a squash starter that was full of flavor, followed by a perfectly cooked cod as a main course, and to finish, a rice pudding that was absolutely divine. Each dish was a real treat, and the service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a memorable meal. Without hesitation, 5 stars for the cuisine, the service, and the atmosphere! A place that I highly recommend.

The food is the big weak point. The arrangement of the dishes, the seasoning, the presentation and even the cooking (especially the gnocchi) did not work. The wine list is basic. Atmosphere ok (live DJ) but almost empty on a Saturday evening.

I came for breakfast and found the best sandwich au fromage in the world. Also Chloé was an excellent hostess.

My wife and I stayed over the weekend and had a great time here at the W. The food was excellent, and Caleb took great care of us twice during breakfast. The restaurant is clean and modern, you should definitely give it a try.

Tatiana & Marcel were very gracious and accommodating. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere very relaxing.

For the price, their food is average at best. Asked for medium steak, was delivered medium well done. Their s3xy fries were wayyy too salty to be able to finish. Bacon was totally overcooked to the point it feels like youre eating bacon flavored biscuits. Coffee was also sub par, nothing special. However the Seafood Gnocchi was one of their better dishes; creamy with lots of actually seafood protein and overall delicious Would get that again, but thats about it. You can better value for your money elsewhere.

Service was good, but the food selection is somewhat limited. We mostly went because it was part of the adjacent W Hotel that we were staying at.

Truly amazing dinner at TBSP. I had opted for the Festa option which was a 5 course meal to share. Every dish was unique sophisticated and packed flavors. My favorite dishes were the deer tartare and the mackerel which was shockingly good. The fish had none of the omega 3 flavor too it and was simply melting in your mouth, the preparation made this humble fish feel truly luxurious. I took 2 cocktails which had been suggested by the waiter and they were both perfect. They were cocktails which you can tell have been developed by a true Mixologist. I will most definitely comme back for dinner and/or drinks when i have the chance. Thank you for the great night!!!

This is not the first time I have come and each time my experience is remarkable! The service is impeccable. Chloe gave a professional and friendly service, which we loved. PA made us cocktails that matched our personal tastes. In short, I 100% recommend this place.

Thoughtful and delicious food. Attentive service (thanks Chloe and all!) Very instagram-worthy atmosphere and lighting. We all had the Festa prix fixe, which was excellent value. Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating for one of us who is celiac; we all had the prix fixe and they were able to make substitutions as necessary for gluten-free.

Had a great long meal (the Festa--dont get it if you are in a hurry), which was totally okay. Chloé was our attendant and her level of warmth, service and care (one of our number was Celiac) was just outstanding. Kudos to the restaurant and Chloé.

We came in around 7:30 and it was still pretty quiet but the atmosphere was still super nice. We were able to talk to each other, the music wasnt loud! Our waiter was Chloe and she was super cool and recommended us the red pepper and Parmesan focaccia, ten out of ten!

We do not recommend this restaurant. Service was friendly but food was tastless and way overpriced. $200 for 2 people with no drinks. The salmon was tiny and dry. We left hungry after our dinner. Do not waste your time and money here.

WOW What an experience! I came yesterday at night with a good friend of mine. We had such fun! We laughed all night long! We have been welcomed by Tatiana and Jimmy! They smiled at us and tried always to know if you need anything. Jimmy explained the menu also and brought to our attention the menu highlights. The bus boys on duty were also delightful! All about the presentation Trust me! We definitely felt the fact weve been at gastronomic restaurant. Its worthy! Dietary restrictions: They ask you! Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely welcomed!

Amazing service, extraordinary people. I did a brunch after my civil wedding, they really took care of my guests. They even put little details into simple but elegant decoration on our table. The food was amazing. The event organizer Alexis is someone who take his job seriously and made sure we miss nothing. I even felt sick due to my pregnancy and they made sure i was comfortable. Very flexible with their planning and payment methods. My guests loved it and we plan on going back.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Our experience began with parking; we were informed that leaving our car near the restaurant entrance was not possible and directed to use the valet service at the neighboring W hotel for $25. However, we managed to find free parking about 40 meters away from the restaurant on our own.The quality of the food was rather disappointing. We mistakenly ordered beef carpaccio, only to find out that the restaurant did not offer such a dish; it was actually beet carpaccio listed on the menu. Despite our error, the waiter accepted our request without clarification and brought us beets instead, which was frustrating. Furthermore, when we ordered a dish described as beef steak, what we received was beef cut into pieces and overcooked. Additionally, the prices for kids drinks (non-alcoholic Shirley Temple & mojito) were equivalent to those of a glass of beer, which seemed unreasonable. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty with only ten of us for dinner, we were surprised to find an additional 18% charge on the bill for the large group size. Furthermore, the waitstaff included their gratuity in the check without consulting us, which felt presumptuous.In summary, the total price on the bill was exorbitant, considering the subpar quality of the food. We left feeling deeply disappointed; it was a regrettable experience. Dont be swayed by the attractive photos. It is difficult to call this restaurant Italian.

The restaurant offers great food and the environment is beautiful. Dishes, cutlery, and glasses were clean. The downside was the service, as the restaurant was operating with few waiters, which resulted in longer waiting time.

I was on my Trip to Montreal and tried the food. It was just exquisite. I went for the full course dinner. I had some dietary restrictions and they were very good at adjusting for me. The food pairings are great!

The waiter gave us the menu, we chose our starters and he took over the menus without having made all our choices. I think it was a very racist attitude on his part. We explained the misunderstanding to the manager and she offered us a free drink, since she understood the situation. First time and last time I set foot in this place. The place is beautiful, but the service is disgusting. The food is okay, but not more than that.

Decided to stop in for lunch and noticed the menu was quite a bit shorter than I expected. Dont let that deter you, the pasta is well worth it. The paccheri is perfection and the burger with fries is delicious, would definitely recommend! Service left something to be desired but, with food this good - that can be overlooked

Superb beautiful places, very disappointing food. We are a group of girls. We all work in different restaurants in Montreal so we know each other well. We didnt eat 4 plates out of 5 ordered. We didnt speak to the waitress, she called in the manager. We explained it and she said that she understood and that the comments on OpenTable were also negative. She told us that she would bring the chef in so that we could explain things to him. He never came and we paid and left. As we left, the staff looked at us, pointed and laughed. Surely a discussion in the kitchen had been sure of us. Worst experience, shame for the beautiful place and the beautiful location. And whats more, the restaurant and bar were completely empty!!

Horrible, avoid at all cost. Had the tomahawk steak that was actually 40% fat, the whole tip had no meat on it at all Veggies were simple and bland... Which isnt a big deal when you have a delicious steak, but the meat (part that was just fat) was barely edible. We were both not feeling well after eating. Over all, save yourself 300$ and go eat somewhere else.

Stayed in the W Montreal so naturally during the evenings we lounged at the bar. Cocktails were all delicious, and wait staff were extremely pleasant. During the weekends they have a DJ and it can be loud. Id recommend checking it out!

We went there for a get together after a conference. The atmosphere would have been nice but it was really loud. I got some super expensive fancy poutine but it had shaved parmesan instead of cheese curds. They were garlicky fries though that tasted fantastic but it wasnt poutine. Music was really too loud to talk and we went there for a post meet and greet session it would have been nicer if the music was more conducive to a little conversation

Very slow service despite the restaurant being half empty. Brought clients there for a 3 course meal and we were pretty disappointed. The food is pretty good, you can tell it s quality ingredients and well thought out dishes but it was generally agreed that multiple dishes were too salty. Our party of 13 was seated and ready to order at 7pm and we only got dessert served at 10:15pm. We had booked weeks in advance, had to come in person to pay a deposit, got called multiple times to confirm and still had very slow service. They also missed one of the main courses and someone sat there without a meal while everyone ate. Minor thing also, a waiter dipped one plate too far on one side while serving and 1/2 the liquid buttery pasta sauce fell on the table and on someone s plate. It s ok, those things happen, and luckily also the sauce fell in the place of someone else with the same dish. Those vey flat plates are probably very hard to serve in. Also they were confused about the desserts. It was either cannolo or brownie. Cannolo had cheesecake as description. Some people ordered saying cheesecake and some cannolo. Some people got a square piece of cheesecake and some got a cannoli. When someone brought it up to the attention of the staff, they denied that they had confused desserts and insisted that both were on the menu (which is probably true on their regular menu but not on our limited big group menu). They then suggested we share the desserts with other people who got what we wanted. (??) The food was fine but really worth it for $100+ per person bill. You could tell some of the serving staff was trying their best too but idk if it s poor management, an improperly staffed kitchen or what but something is not working properly. Not a bad experience, we had fun, but they cannot handle big groups. Would also not suggest it for business lunch/dinners. I m not typically one to complain much but when it s such an expensive meal c mon you gotta do better.

Went here for a friend s birthday. Service was all over the place (albeit the server was really kind). Had to ask for a coffee twice (which I was double charged for - side note, $4.50 for a filtered coffee without refills is a bit insane, even for the area), one of the guests got the wrong meal entirely, despite there being maybe 3 other tables in the restaurant, the service was slow and the wait for the food was quite long, although I will give them the benefit of the doubt that we were a larger group, but by the time our food reached us it was cold. A very beautiful restaurant, clean, and great dishware - the food is ok but did expect better having previously eaten lunch here pre-pandemic with a better dining experience. The server did her best but unfortunately at this price point there are better places for brunch in the area in my opinion.

I only had breakfast here for a couple of days but the food was great, little pricy though. (I strongly recommend the avocado toast) Service was excellent, fast and very friendly.

Everything was a 10/10 - beautiful decor, delicious food and drink and the service was lovely!

Expensive for no good reason, menu is very limited. Came with family, the manu was extremely limited for us, either that $75 Festa or A la carte menu, NOT both, what leaves us with extremely limited menu. The tiny portions and the quality dont worth it, some of the mixed grill meats were partially burnt. Service was ok.

We were at the restaurant at 1:30 on Saturday. There were very few people, we were greeted for a long time - we waited about 5 - 10 minutes before they came up to us and showed us to our table. In general, the whole visit - all one solid wait until you are served, you will be remembered, you will be approached. Let me remind you, the restaurant was almost empty. The dishes themselves are weak, the tartare with mayonnaise is the worst tartare in my life. The meat we asked for medium, we were served medium rare. We sat for so long because of the perpetual wait, we were afraid we would be late for parking, as our time was limited. When I asked to bring the dessert together with the bill, they forgot about it and after the dessert we were waiting for the bill for about 10 minutes. The waiters were so out of reach and not even paying attention that I could not even clarify where the restroom was. All in all, I do not recommend to visit.

Several times at this restaurant and never disappointed until today, new servers who make several mistakes, service leaves something to be desired Administrators should check the quality of service of their employees. Last time here, especially since the competition is more than up to par.

Expensive for what you get. But I guess it is the price of a restaurant/bar in old port inside a hotel. There was barely anyone on a Thursday night where it is bustlin in old port. Taste wise and presentation of food is impeccable. Cocktails were pretty good as per the other guests of my table. However, service is very lacking as in, no water refills unless asked (but when do customers actually ask unless very thirsty?), and multiple errors in a bill. Management hopped in to justify the mistake of their employee but did not care the least for their customers. The manager herself did not help and could not care less about the billing issue. She left the customers with a terrible taste as she left rapidly our table offering no solution. Would not recommend the place to anyone since there are so many better places in old port. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Also, some guests on my table ordered items that never came. And despite me spending over 80 with no drinks, I am going home hungry.

I went to dinner with my family for my birthday and I was very disappointed. The food was, in part, good. The service was extremely slow. We saw our server counting the tip he had just made at another table while we were still waiting for the dish of one person at the table. We actually had to ask him for the said dish to finally receive it. The music was way too loud and more like a nightclub than a fancy restaurant.

Went there after 12 on Saturday for a brunch. But was told the brunch is finished. Luckily the kitchen decided to serve us no matter what. However, when ordering orange juice, the waiter said nope with the juicer at the bar. His excuse was if he did the orange juice, he would not have time to serve the table. Then I asked for smoothie, which came as late as the brunch. Prefer the restaurant in the past. W is so bad at the restaurant service. Maybe that s the W concept. Never back

Visit for the first time to Tbsp this Saturday July 8. It was a superb evening, the place to have a drink and eat is superb. The great team for their service and kindness. Thanks to Guillaume for his cocktails and to Medhi for his service. The meal was equally delicious, the focaccia burrata and the extraordinary duck agnoletti. A place that I highly recommend, looking forward to my next visit. Benedict

Beautiful restaurant with authentic and modern options.

Dear Mr. Gendron, the NeoTokyo is frankly cool and is an ideal place to celebrate the first pay of the Blue Collar in your life! A decor worthy of mention, we are far from the cursed fashion of the faux bronze light fixture with 17 branches. The decibel level also deserves a mention because even at 5 with a member of the FADOQ, it was possible to converse without shouting. Well done. The menu will delight purists because it fits on a single page - we like that. The staff is great and provides sound advice, without pressure and with a smile. Dont be afraid of TanTan and its chili oil fanfare, its hot in the bustier but the watercress, this unloved greenery, and the broth of this concoction straight out of Olympus will know how to reconcile you with life (aka Life). The Neotokyo Taiwanese Mazesoba were a success, dont be put off by the egg yolk, once graciously incorporated it is a delight. Our grandfather was delighted by his choice. The Asani are a must, delicious and cold, dont deprive yourself of them, especially if you choose the spicy chicken karaage version. Only weak point: the Replicant (the cocktail, not the tall blond with the intense gaze full of electric wires), who was rather dull. If you go to the bathroom, bring some small change to play a game of Pac Man and beware of the ethereal ghost who might surprise you when you open the door....brrr. In short, we highly recommend the place. Expect a waiting time during rush hour, but you can always have a drink at Tbsp on the terrace while waiting, its 2 minutes away and the service is excellent! Dishonest restaurant.

We waited for our food for 2h without seeing the server once. The food was so salty, it was inedible and we couldnt finish our plates. We were then obliged to pay 18% on our bill. Will never be back

The restaurant Tbsp. was soooo pretty! Great service but a bit slow. The pasta that I took was really good and they give us a very great portion, definitely worth the price. But not a lot of choices on the menu. Food

When we sat down, the server wiped down the table, but the smell of the dishcloth still stuck to the table. I should have been asked to change to another seat. The food and atmosphere were good.

We came to eat as a family this evening and received the best service! The staff is very attentive, from the hostesses at the entrance to the waiters. It was nice to see that. Our meals arrived quickly, all hot, despite our four different dishes. Plus, our water glasses were always refilled, and the desserts were delicious. I would like to highlight the superb work of the team. Thank you for this beautiful evening!

Food and drinks were great but service was mediocre as we think the person was being trained and meals and drinks took time to come out.

Always had a good experience. I ve been a couple of times at the lounge area and the bar for a few cocktails, which are varied and craftily made. Had a couple of appetizers and a main and everything tasted fresh and was on point. Will definitely return with more people for a dining room experience. Although the environment is beautiful, there is not enough choice on the menu and the portions are not very generous.

The staff was friendly although we were first offered a table that was very mediocre even after reserving weeks ago. After being offered to wait for another table it was much better. The pictures on open table do not represent the food we were served. Our food was below average. To top it all off , two of our plates were dirty with food and the other ones all had water stains it s really unfortunate we had high expectations and will not be back. *Just want to mention that our waiter was very nice though.

Totally overrated! A group of 6, ordered 2 Tomahawk, one medium and one medium rare. Both were served medium-well and it was too chewy to handle! Pasta was just OK. Ambiance had nothing special to offer compared to what you can have in overpriced dinning in Montreal. We let the chef know about the steaks and they managed to offer us free water drinks in return! So generous! Definitely not recommended

Waited 1h15 for a dry overpriced wagyu cheeseburger... 2 impossible things in the same sentence... how do you wait 1h15 for a cheeseburger and how can you make a wagyu cheeseburger be dry... to top it off, the oyster order came after 1h30... your only task is to open them... how?!? Look at how sad my burger dish looks like

The food was excellent. My date and I loved the oysters especially. The only bad thing about my experience is that the food was taking a lot of time to be served. Besides that, great vibe, great music and goodservice.

the portion of the pasta is less than what we expected. we ordered agnolotti a l anatra, it roughly had 8 pasta. it s under the plate section but borderline could be an entree the mocktail with coconut and vanilla is refreshing. in an hour or so, i couldn t feel my toes. perhaps they forgot to crank up the heat? vibrant ambiance, great taste in music and few street parking available, i wouldn t go back.

Such an amazing experience. Just had a huge work day at Palais des Congrès. Wanted to unwind with my staff. Rodrigo made sure of it. Food was outstanding. Excited to come back.

The food was too expensive. It wasn t even good. The waiter, Rodrigo, was rude. He was super slow to serve us too. The atmosphere wasn t impressive. They also included a mandatory high tip for the waiter because we were a group eating!? The waiter didn t deserve a normal tip, much less the high tip he gave himself. I wasted my night here. Don t make the same mistake.

First time at TBSP and probably the last. - Atmosphere: Ordinary. - Service and Cuisine: SLOW AND FRUSTRATING. Reservation for 11 people at 8:30 p.m., we order at 9:30 p.m. to finally eat at 11:30 p.m. due to multiple problems related to the Menu. The menu in question: We cant serve you this or that, because theres no longer the meat that comes with the pasta or We cant do that anymore, because our menu changes next week or We wont be making your starters anymore, because the kitchen will close soon and the cook wont have time!! LIKE SERIOUSLY?!! Why offer a Menu when half of the things offered are no longer available?!! The starters in question were squid, it s easy to make squid as a starter!!! In addition, I managed to get water, WATER around 10 p.m. when I have been there since 8:45 p.m. Back to the starter, we had to change our starters for their Frisso starter, a mixture of squid, shrimp and breaded fish which were cold and dry. Our drinks, same thing, are no longer available or we had to choose something else. Besides, our drinks arrived after our starters. Normally, it s before, right?! CHANCE, our dishes were at least good, hot and tasty. The waitress didnt even know what to say to us when she saw that each choice we asked for she couldnt offer it to us. At least she was courteous and helpful. In the end, first experience and surely the last due to the Menu and the endless wait to eat.

The wife and I came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Took about 5 minutes to get seated even though the place was empty. Once seated we ordered an omlet and a some bagel item they had on the menu. We waited and waited, what really got us irate was other customers (older patrons, who all I would say that does not look like us) started getting their food over us, even though we arrived a full 10 min before them. After about 35 minutes with no one checking on us we just got up and walked out. Very poor service do not eat here.

Had a full course dinner here and it did not disappoint.

Its a lovely place for great food with a twist. Our waiter was super friendly and was even still checking on us after we had been reseated in someone elses area. The only thing that we didnt like was the very loud music that made dinner conversation difficult.

Went for MTL a table with some friends. We were a lot for sure so I can understand a slower service but it almost 4 hours is wild especially for a set menu. It kind of ruined our vibe. There really isnt any ambiance in the dining room. Its a bit off. But near the DJ is good! The food was decent but nothing amazing! Wont go back and dont necessarily recommend it!

Very bad service! We were there for my birthday, the service was long, the waitress forgot some orders, we spilled an entire mojito on my friend and the manager made no gesture of courtesy, we still made him pay for his meal so that she was deceived from head to toe. Obviously, we made the remark but the manager didnt want to know anything. What is certain is that we will never set foot there again

We went to celebrate a birthday with a group of women. Brunch on a Saturday (very quiet if that s what you re looking for). The meal started out with an unfortunate accident. Our waitress spilled a tray of drinks on one of our group. Having ice and sticky juice all over you is not a fun way to start a celebration. The waitress apologized and we were very reasonable (mistakes/accidents can happen to anyone). What motivated this review is that the victim was presented with a bill at the end of the meal, no discount, no good faith offer. NOTHING. I m not sure what kind of customer service training this establishment offers but it needs to be revised. I would expect better from the W hotel and businesses affiliated with the brand.

We went there for a friends birthday, everything started well, we wanted a peaceful atmosphere to celebrate in a good mood... Even a shower of mimosas and mojitos on one of our friends didnt shake us. Its happening! my poor friend went to dry herself in the toilet, wet from head to toe (including her underwear ). She returned to the table and continued her meal in her soaked clothes. No effort from management, neither to help her dry off, nor to clean her clothes or her coat sticky with orange juice, the manager didnt even come to see her... and the icing on the cake, he makes her pay at the door. END. Never seen that! My friend had to go out in -6° with her clothes and hair wrong! PS: the mop used to dry the floor, you might have to remember to wash it from time to time, it smelled like rotten eggs, we had to spray perfume on the floor so as not to vomit up our dishes with that smell...

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!! What a disgrace to our beautiful Downtown Montreal!!! Our group of ladies decided to come celebrate a birthday brunch and have a great time. Before deciding to make a reservation, the place was googled and we thought it would be the best place to spend a great time together. Little did we know that the staff and management would be so mediocre. As we were waiting for the rest of the party to arrive, one of our friends got 3 mimosas and 1 mojito all over her by the waitress, it all went directly to her white satin blouse, her jeans, her well done hair and what can I say about her underwear! The staff barely apologized for the incident, didn t even provide extra napkins to dray my friend s clothes, they cleaned the floor with a disgusting, dirty and stinky mop, YUKKKK imagine how nasty their kitchen is My other friend got her Gucci bag and wool jacket wet too and with ice cubes inside of her bag, none the less, we still decided to have a good time and somehow be comprehensible and give them the opportunity to make it up somehow. To our surprise, not only she did not get the well deserved apology but she got a full bill including all the drinks. After arguing for such obviously reasons, this place s poor management still made my friend pay not only for her entire bill, but she now has to pay her dry cleaning bill and a hair salon visit. UNACCEPTABLE! And the food and service is not worth the price of each plate. Do yourself a favour and choose another place to have a good time, you might find yourself with a not so pleasant surprise at Tbsp. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!

Worst service and treatment ever received! The waitress spilled an entire tray of Mojitos and Mimosas on me. I was soaked everywhere - my hair, my top, my jeans and more... I said absolutely nothing, because I understand that it was an accident, that it could happen to anyone, but especially because we were celebrating my friends birthday and I didnt want to spoil the event. The least the manager could have done was to come to our table and offer an apology, bring back towels to help me dry off, and offer me my meal. Well no! Not only did he never come to see us, but he also had the nerve to make me pay for my meal. Also, the mop they used to clean the floor smelled like corpses. Finally, I reiterate that I was soaked from head to toe and that I had to eat in this state that could not have been more unpleasant! HORRIBLE experience What a shame for the Montreal restaurant scene!

First time and last time! No customer service.

I had a reservation here for a corporate event, I Heard my friend s terrible experience (see previous bad reviews) and I cancelled my large group reservation right away. The waitress spilled mimosas and drinks on my friend and had the audacity at the end of the night to bill her for the DRINKS SPILLED on her and for her ruined meal. An argument had to be raised with management to have the drinks removed from the bill and followed with a mediocre apology from the manager. As a former restaurant owner and restaurant frequent guest, ive never heard of such disastrous and poor management service. The least expected in such an unfortunate situation, is the courtesy of offering a sincere apology, ensure the customer has no further distress and last but not least waiving the entire bill in the interest of good customer service, which did not happen. To all readers, I strongly suggest to get your money s worth elsewhere! and that have clean mops.

Incidents happens but it shouldn t happen to my sister without a generous apology from management. 1 star is too generous and I hope you ll learn how to build costumer loyalty since you have no differentiation from the competition.
