5555 Monkland Ave, Montreal, Quebec H4A 1E1, Canada
In the heart of the Monkland Village, the Monkland Taverne has been a local favourite for twenty-nine years. Managed and operated by, co-owners, Barbara Irwin and Josh Crowe. Hit the bar for our signature cocktails, enjoy a meal with friends on the seasonal terrace, or celebrate a special occasion with a bottle from our carefully chosen wine list. Open Tuesday to Saturday at 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Absolutely splendid. My first visit to Monkland Tavern did not disappoint. Right out the gate the ambiance and the service were spot on. Very professional wait staff that knew their shit. Had a few oysters to start that were just OK. The beet salad with onion and almond and cabbage was such a great balance of flavors, but I did find the dish portion to be a little small. My main dish, the Ontario walleye was absolutely spectacular. Are you the best fish dish I’ve had in Montreal ever. My beautiful date got the tagliatelle shrimp pasta and though she wasn’t thrilled, it was still quite good lol. Would definitely go back!
As newcomers in NDG, this was our first time at Taverne Monkland. Overall this was a mixed bag for us. On the definite positives, the place is beautiful and inviting. We also had fantastic service from our waitress, who explained the day's specials in detail and checked on us many times during our meal. Food wise though, some dishes were good (the tartare special with Calabrese "caviar") or great like the short rib with chasseur sauce, absolutely delicious. But others were bad and felt like they came from a different restaurant. The brassicas Caesar salad was dry and needed more dressing, but the real disappointment was their putanesca dish with freshly made noodles. It was mushy, very bland, tasted mostly like salt and parsley and lacked the punch a putanesca should have. The dessert was also so so (a pain perdu that really isn't a pain perdu). We live nearby so we'll definitely give the restaurant another try in the future and some of their dishes were definitely worth the visit.
I can’t even begin to describe how much this restaurant goes above and beyond to make a night truly special. We celebrated my grandmother’s 80th birthday here, and Chef Josh created an incredible menu that was both complex and beautifully simple at the same time. He made sure that every product served on the table was thoughtfully and geniusly sourced from somewhere in Quebec or close to home. That local mentality was shared with us through the stories behind each dish, adding so much depth and meaning to the experience. It was a meal that meant so much to me and my family, and the entire staff ensured everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Thank you for making this celebration unforgettable!
One of our favorite new spots to go! Service is top notch. The staff all works as a team so you are never left unattended. And the food is phenomenal. Also love the atmosphere. Very cute spot for photo ops ;)
My spouse and I had the most delightful dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our waiter, who turned out to be the one of 3 chef owner, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to explain almost every ingredient in the dishes we chose. We were impressed to learn that many of the ingredients were sourced from the restaurant's own garden, adding a special touch to our meal. The food itself was simply outstanding. The fresh homemade pasta melted in our mouths, and the bass that I ordered was cooked to perfection. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into preparing our meals. Overall, we left the restaurant feeling satisfied and eager to return for another culinary adventure. We can't wait to sample more of the menu offerings next time and see what other delicious creations the chef has in store for us. This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Absolutely stellar, a solid 10/10! If I had to sum up my time here in a single word, it would be "balance". The culinary creations are not just inventive, they're impeccably balanced. The service is simply outstanding. Corinne and Tom behind the bar were a treat to watch. It almost felt like they were siblings, they were so in sync and they never left anyone waiting. It's clear that every member of the team is not only knowledgeable but operates in perfect harmony. As for the ambiance, it's a perfect blend of funky, upscale, and casually chic. You could step in wearing your finest attire or rock a t-shirt and jeans and totally feel right at home. I was first welcomed by Barb, one of the owners, who was welcoming, personable and had her finger on the pulse of everything! I love seeing an owner lead by example on the floor. And I was incredibly fortunate that my dining journey was personally curated by none other than the executive chef part owner, Josh Crowe. Having recently returned from a culinary adventure in Italy, I couldn't help but feel transported back to the streets of Rome and Florence with each bite at Monkland Tavern. Yet it still felt uniquely Canadian as Josh is proud to source a large amount of the ingredients locally. This experience undoubtedly ranks among the finest I've ever had. I'm already eagerly anticipating my return. Monkland Tavern comes with my highest recommendation to all. A heartfelt thank you to the remarkable staff for making this experience truly exceptional. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Delicious on a whole new level!! 😍 Appetizer: stripped bass crudo and bread (focaccia with wild stripped bass on a bed of kohlrabi crostone). As a foodie, the crudo was unreal (similar to ceviche). For main, I had the pork chops, quite filling, quite fatty I'm taste and generous proportions. The St Rita drink was perfect cocktail for a sweet ending. Thank you Xavier for excellent service.
Very nice place!! The ambiance is cozy and classy. We received an excellent service. They were very accommodating given the fact we came with a wheelchair. (A client was very annoyed and complained to the poor waiter because he was too close of the wheelchair) but the waiter never put pressure on us. The food was perfectly cooked and served hot. We had the shrimp and a beef plate. Desserts are excellent too ( the cookie is a very comforting dessert you will want to hug). This is fully accessible! So rare in this area so enjoy!! Can't wait to go back this summer!
Exceptional service. The food was good although expensive, especially the starters.
It has been about 10-12 years since I was last at Taverne on Monkland, and I have to say that I was so disappointed. I am a Monkland Village resident and Love to support my local restos, but I will not be going back. The Caesar salad at approx $25 was dry and had little excitement, I had to ask for salt and pepper for the table since I guess the chef knows best on seasoning. My mother had what looked like very dry pasta with tiny shrimp for $35 and I had the steak frites which was a tiny 7oz lesser cut without any flavour. After all the food disappointment we were told at 7:15 that we had to leave to free up the table, our reservation was at 5:30. $185 later for two, this has to be one of my worst dining experience in a very very long time. I will more than happily pay a premium for a good meal, here I just felt ripped off and insulted.
Good food but kinda creepy. Especially that one guy with the dark bobcut. If you re a woman, expect to be creepily stared at non-stop by the dude with the bob. He ll just stare at you from other parts of the restaurant while you re trying to eat it s so bizarre I don t understand. They need to have a talk with staff to remind them not to creep out customers but the food was nice.
What a good restaurant, we loved it. Top quality ingredients, research in the kitchen, very friendly service, great atmosphere, the best restaurant in Monkland and one of the best in the west of the city. The wine list is worth reading. In season, the terrace is really pleasant.
Not a very varied menu. But what they do make is very fresh and tasty. Portions are good as well. The vibe and atmosphere is what makes this place. Extensive drink menu too. Parking is on street and in that neighborhood good luck.
Its an older more senior crowd , the service is great and its got a family atmosphere, this is a historic place on Monkland and Im happy to see its still working well
Never disappoints
Our go-to restaurant. Everything is excellent.
Went on a Saturday night with our of town guests. This restaurant has a great vibe. The server was impressive. He knew the menu and specials inside out and was super professional. Excellent bartender knew how to make proper martinis. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. This all happens because the owner was present and involved, ensuring her guests were well taken care of. Highly recommend Taverne Monklamd.
This place is a hidden gem. Had the Tasting menu, it was absolutley amazing, locally sourced great quality ingredients transformed into tasty dishes. Josh was welcoming and his descriptions of the plates made your mouth water!
Tonight I made an impromptu decision to dine at The Tavern. After receiving a warm welcome by the staff, Barbara, Tom and the amazing chef Josh made this a memorable meal. I was taken back to the Amalfi Coast by the spectacular meal and beverages. The only things lacking were the Italian serenade and the view of the Mediterranean!!! Vegetarian options: Fabulous tomato carpaccio appetizer!!!
Thank you to chef Josh and the entire team for an outstanding experience.
Unkown to most .... best pasta and sauces in Montreal. Hidden gem on the menu. Parking: Try side streets but be prepared to walk. Food : 5/5 |
Had some pasta and shrimp plate with breadcrumbs for $34 it was awful. It tasted like sand. The shrimps were tiny the pasta wasn t fresh. Rip off!
Break away from downtown and hit up this long running spot for dinner and drinks. Located on a closed street with other dining and shopping options. The owner is very nice and took very good care of our group of race fans that escaped the rain. Fun place to spend your evening with friends. The red wine selection from the owner was right in my wheelhouse and helped make the meal something special. See you next year!
Very nice place to eat and have a few drink. The owner takes good care of the customers. Congrats Barbara !
The pasta is fantastic! No restaurant in Monkland, even officially very Italian, offers such delicious options. The service is very attentive, without being intrusive. Well done!
Great experience
Of course there s no such thing as a 5 star but. This restaurant was one of our regular go toos since it opened. About three years ago we struck it off our list. Not that it was terrible, it had simply lost its value and spirit, in our opinion. Value is hard to determine as we are still talking personal taste in the case of food. I must however say that last night we decided to reserve a table and check it out. Wow! Service couldn t have been better. Food, every morsel mmmmwwwwaaaa! Delish! Still a bit pricey but that s just seems to be the new normal. From Barbara s warm & welcoming attention to the attentiveness of the busboy, in the words of Arnold we ll be back!
Owners and a whole team who care about making their customers have a good time. Its always tasty. We are always well served. They deserve all the stars we can give. We are very lucky to have them!
Food was good but very overpriced for what you re getting. I m sorry I m writing this but the truth. Used to be better food but it looked kind of measly
The chef knows what he s doing. Excellent ingredients, simple but creative and well-executed dishes (the fish!) of Italian inspiration. Regards to the staff who are attentive but not fussy. I would have taken off half a star for the choice of wines by the glass, they were a little disappointing.
Flavourful and creative dishes executed to perfection. The service was prompt and attentive as well as warm and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!
Excessively expensive
my friends go often and I am happy they brought us there..will be back!
10s 10s 10s across the board
Taverne Monkland is very cozy and warm, great service and ambiance. The 6oz taverne burger was perfectly cooked to a medium and well seasoned. Definitely recommend trying the burger
Noisy. Expensive. Food was excellent.
The steak I had was amazing, its a good and cozy Canadian restaurant.
The owner is rude and insulting. We had a reservation and was to ld we need to leave by 7:15 which we agreed on. At 7 she came to us and rudely told us to leave NOW! I tried to give it one more chance and had the same rude lady experience again, and shes the owner! I will never recommend it and never go back!
Omg !! Omg !!! Omg !! We greeted and hosted like Royalties !!! Went for a Burger the famous done by Micha the famous cook but instead got the best of the best Bavette frites done do my liking !! The owner Barbara which I met for the first time , is a Gem !!! I ve been and experienced so many big and what you so called The Table well let me tell you !! I have been overwhelmed by everything!! From the start til the end !! I will give to this cozy, warm, restaurant, the Excellence for their customers services and hospitality!!! I can t wait to go back with my wonderful son who made me discover this Wonderful, warm, cozy place !!! Thank you !! Thank you !! To Barbara and the entire professional and sooooo kind staff !! Be be well !! See you very soon Parking: The best !!!
Great vibe. Food is a bit pricey.
Warm place where contact with the servers is super efficient and pleasant. The dishes are tasty and very well executed.
You have to be careful here. Its extremely loud inside, to the point of discomfort. If youre at all sensitive to noise, you have to sit outside. Pricey appetizers, too. 25$ for a scallop ceviche turned out to be a few tiny slivers of scallop and nothing else. That said, the service was attentive (as usual), and the mains were well-cooked.
After making a reservation for me, my copies and my assistance dog outside for 6:30 p.m. ...Barbara refused us access....
An amazing restaurant with an amazing waiter, thx for the suggestions Liam, exceptional service.
Food was amazing, service outstanding and ambient very pleasant. The chefs prepare the food with much love and attention and all the ingredients are organic which is very important to me. Barbara at the bar was super friendly. Will definitely go again.
The best food I ever had. Highly recommend!
very noisy average kitchen very expensive for what it is and above all a waitress came to see me ten times to ask me if I had finished my whiskey we must teach them that a good whiskey is to be enjoyed and that it is not a cocktail it was extremely disturbing to be interrupted in the middle of a discussion every 5 minutes about whether she could have my drink
Always a great time here. Great food, great vibe.
The 5555 burger, which is only available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, is worth more than its original price. Its exquisite! Food
A bit noisy. Pricey.
Consistently very, very good. Mac N Cheese is a hidden gem
Excellent food and service
The Monkland Tavern is a NDG institution. Im glad to see that it has survived the pandemic and theyre thriving again. The service is friendly and efficient and its always a pleasure to visit. I had the crudo de doré as an appetizer and the snow crab special as the main dish. It was a sumptuous affair and well worth ordering. The restaurant also has great pasta dishes which they are well known for. They also have a selection of craft food and drink products for sale over the counter. We were treated to their special hot sauce on the way out. The restaurant is not large, so its recommended to make a reservation in advance. I found the booking process to be very swift and efficient. You can use Google chat to make a reservation and they will then book you through the Resy app. Its much easier than calling, although you can do that too, as I did when it turned out that I had to make a last minute alteration in my reservation. Maybe someday the city will finally cover the Décarie highway with some green space and then the short walk from the Villa Maria metro will be more pleasant. Its not the most pleasant walk when you have to cross the highway just to get from the metro to the commercial heart of NDG.
So disappointed. We had a reservation but we re denied because we had a newborn baby. They said they would be fined because they had a liquor license. A wonderful restaurant a few doors down welcomed us with open arms and the food was fantastic!!!!! Won t try and go again.I ve been to many restaurants in Montreal and none denied us.
Barbara was amazing. Perfect catered to all our needs. I will be back
Always on point. Wine list and suggestions are excellent. We were not in love with a bottle and they changed it. Reception staff is young and bright, with great manners. Waiters are always there when you need them, and cooking staff technically brilliant. It s a clear sign that management are doing things right. It s always a great outing. Thank you tavern.
The Monkland Tavern never disappoints. Great little place located in the Monkland Village. Nice patio during the summer time. Good attentive and friendly service. Fresh ingredients well represented in the seasonal menu. Beautifully presented plates and most importantly, delicious food. Overall great experience.
We stopped in just before closing and shared a variety of appetizers. They were all excellent! The bruschetta and the watermelon salad were amazing! Cant wait to go back. Highly recommend a visit.
Excellent service & desserts Niawenkowa sewakwekon (thank you everyone)!
This was about my third or fourth visit to this nice friendly restaurant. It features an outdoor terrace and bar area and has been in business for a long time which is typically a good sign. Focus is on fresh local ingredients with daily specials and a new menu concept which is good for sharing. Lots of salads for summer along with meat, poultry, fish and good pasta choices. Good selection of beer and wine also.
One of the best restaurants on monkland street. Food is delicious. I love their juicy and tasty BURGER. Beet salad and their crispy honey ginger shrimps are a treat. Keep room for their delicious hot cookie dough desert !!!
Never disappoints. Proper, high end, comfort fare in the most welcoming and relaxed ambience. Josh - Head Chef and Owner is an absolute delight of a human and professional in the field. The staff and ownership at Monkland is beyond accommodating and knowledgeable. Everyone is clearly passionate about the establishment and menu. Theres a wonderful private import wine list that sits alongside an array of old, and new school cocktail selections, that accompany an ever surprising chalkboard menu, complimenting the restaurants staple dishes. 5 stars through and through.
If you re looking to spend a lot of money on average food and for average service this is your place. I liked that they had chefs specials of the day. Although it was all written in-front of us on the chalk board the server re read exactly the 7 dishes that was written in front of us. But I digress, I found the place very loud and when it got a little closer to 10pm they bumped up the volume on the music even higher which made it really hard to even talk to the person next to me. I had the cauliflower steak which tasted really bland with no sauce or side. Just topped with some very tiny cut up veggies and olive oil. For the price I thought it was lacking a lot of personality. The blue cheese broccoli was good. But when the plate showed up the brocolis covered 1/4th of the plate and the rest was empty. I understand that it was more for the aesthetic look but for a 20$ appetizer I was extremely disappointed. The wine was great thankfully. Once it came to paying I barely got a glance or goodbye from our server. After spending five minutes reading to us what was on the board you d think I d even get a name but after we paid she scurried off. Kind of felt like service from a fast food restaurant. Over all I liked it. It was alright. If you re looking to spend a little extras for an alright place this is your spot.
One of my fave spots on Monkland, wouldve given them 5 stars but they killed my putanesca dish and another dish too, kept changing menu. Cool spot to relax and chill with your group of friends. even a nice out door terrase.
Its open and its good to take away :-)
We picked up a delicious meal at the Monkland tavern. Their team has put together a market with many unique products. Great job!
Great food and service! Would go back in a heartbeat.
Atmosphere and service was great, oysters were good, but sent back bavette and ordered something else. At least they honour dissatisfaction and offer a change. Pasta was decent. Best part was the Fleuris BD wine and being able to finally dine out.
We loved that place, good service. Will come back.
Incredible! Great food selection, especially enjoyed the Buffala Mozzarella appetizer and the Tiramisu. Really have the Tiramisu. Really, really. Also the Rhubarb gin something something cocktail is phenomenal have at least 3. Service level was on par with the better steakhouses in the city. Your water glass will never be even half empty.
I was in a group of 6, sitting outside the restaurant last night and while the food was good, as it often is, the waitress we had was even better. She was attentive, fast, and constantly checked in on us. Highly recommend this restaurant and our waitress last night is a main reason.
Great place, belle ambiance Will go again
Food quality is great, a little pricey
Very pleasant neighborhood restaurant. Excellent cuisine based on fresh seasonal products. Excellent wine selection at affordable prices. Excellent and very attentive service.
good food, good service, little bit more expensive than expected but worth it
Excellent food. Good menu choices. The hamburger being freshly ground you may have different type of cooking method. Service was also very good.
Great ambiance, good beer selection. I had meat meal. It was great. Service was plenty. Better reserve.
Amazing food and drinks. Their Margarita cocktail is the best I ve ever had!
One of Montreals best kept secrets. Incredible, warm and friendly staff, a very talented chef, amazing bartender and great music. Take the time to discover this gem of a restaurant in the Monkland village.
Over priced, great service
In addition to being insulted by the waitress when ordering, the latter charged us with one more meal than we have ever ordered and never had worse service in a long time. The food is very good however and the presentation is sublime, nothing to say .
Have been before and food/ambiance usually very good. Went yesterday with a friend to catch up. Ordered drinks and light dishes. Loved the Crostini and bufala with tomatoes. All organic local grown vegetables. Very impressive. Thank you Sarah.
Very good atmosphere, courteous service. Our server Marc Alex provides impeccable service and gives very good recommendations for the menu and wines. In short, I recommend this place.
5/5 for the actions of the restaurant co-owners in the face of government demands. If you open, as an act of civil disobedience, I will be in your restaurant.
I have never been here, 5 star lol Google says heres a hidden gem for you ok
Amazing food and amazing service! Came here with some friends for boyfriend s birthday. I wish I took pictures to share but the food was absolute spectacular and the drinks were great too. I love this neighborhood! Make sure to check their daily features and enjoy the menu while it lasts as they swap and change menu items often
we were a group of 4 for my partners birthday (the restaurant does not take reservations) we were quickly given a table, the service was attentive and courteous we had the oysters, the saunon tartare, the fried brussels sprouts, the striped bass and the house burger tour was very delicious! we will definitely come back :)))
Food was great and service fantastic. Not cheap but worth it!
Great food, great service!
Great quainte spot with a diverse menu.
One of Montreal best kept secret. The Monkland Tavern is an amazing restaurant. I always love going there with friends. The food is always great the service impeccable and the atmosphere relaxed. Monkland street has a very unique vibe to it and the Tavern is one of the main reasons why. A must in my opinion
Great local restaurant!
The experience at Monkland Taverne is always delightful. The food is carefully prepared and the service is very helpful. The only caveat is getting a table: the restaurant does not offer reservations and the wait times can vary significantly depending on how busy it gets. Given the size of the place and the limited tables, this can be an issue.
Excellent service, good food, beautiful decor
Excellent food and service. Very loud when busy.
Great drink selection, good ambiance and food.
Really good food. Great service. Loved the wine selection.
Local gem!
Lovely evening excellent food and fantastic company
Good but overpriced
I was so disappointed. Always heard good things Food (for 3 of us we were 4) was not so good. Portions real small. Service mediocre.expensive if quality was better expensive may be worth it. I guess I didnt like it lol.
Very good service, very good food, on the expensive side. A little too dim to my taste
Service slow, food was dull, and extremely overpriced. Do yourself a favor and spend your money and time at different restaurent
Wonderful place! Excellent atmosphere, delicious food! Asking the innkeeper for suggestions was the best. They know the menu and have good suggestions depending on each persons taste.
Great food, great staff!
Great place to share a drink. The name talks for itself. Very loud. The staff is nice.
Great place, ambiance
Good food but very pricy.
Delicious food. Fabulous service.
The wait staff was knowledgeable of their menu and very friendly. The ambiance was nice and the music was at a level that permitted conversation at a normal volume (on a Tuesday at least). The mackerel and delicata squash cavatelli were both very good.
Beautiful atmosphere, and the service was impeccable! Really 5* for the service Good food, but a little expensive for what is served. Nevertheless a great experience
Great food, a bit pricey. Good service.
Excellent food, nice portion, can be pricey
The ambiance and atmosphere are what attract people to The Tavern. It is the Monkland staple that Lucullies, Hopkins etc have to thank for the location being so resto friendly. The service is on par with any of Montreals best restaurants. The reason for only 4 stars, is the inconsistency of the table dhote, menu and overall food. The drinks are superb and unique along with that hard-to-get-a-seat-on terrace in the summer, which is great. However, if you had the best mac n cheese ever one time, it might not be the same the next time. But still worth the venture for.
nice atmosphere, great food, good prices, exceptional service.
Nice setting but theyre going for the fancy vibe which means $20 burger, no sides. Burger was good but not that good. Service started off great but then it was the bus lady who came around more often than our waiter who we gave our meal order to.
Great place. Classic neighborhood pub atmosphere.
Excellent, several vegetarian options, good bartender, the servers do not all speak French well, the tables in the back are very close together
Nice place to go on a date, beautiful food a little on the pricer side but well worth it.
Absolutely amazing food! Great service too... Will be going back again and again
Succulent food
Extremely delicious. Creative dishes with locally sourced produce. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. We had a wonderful meal!
The food was surprisingly diverse, and delicous. I had a black bean burger that was delious! My date had the sausage and mashed potatoes. He liked his as well. The atmospher was very warm and inviting. I dont go to taverns and usually feel uncomftorble in them but the waitress was awesome, and we ended up going on trivia night so it was a really fun atmospher. All in all a really solid tavern. I would recommend it highly if taverns are your thing.
A staple of Monkland village. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is great and you can still carry on a conversation at the table.
Great food and service, and wonderful ambiance. The wine list has great options at multiple price-points. The specials are always a solid choice, and must-haves include the bone marrow, and bread pudding for dessert.
Nice location, and layout. I am a fan of the decor, however the service by some of the staff was very poor. Some requests were completely forgotten, or ignored. The most reliable service was one server who never let our water glasses stay empty. The food was fine, though the menu was rather limited. The drinks were fairly priced and mixed well. IF I ever do go back it would only be for a drink, and only if they are the only terasse with space in the area.
Amazing pasta & french fries!
Great food
Had the mac and cheese Was so good without being over the top And even though it has truffle you barely taste it. Cocktails are great and good place to hang without going downtown
Pricey menu but good food great service
We went to join our friends at the Monkland Taverne restaurant, excellent service from the employees also the place is good now you can see it by the cleanliness of the chandeliers and the food! our meals were up to the decor but the portions a little small for the price but hey I think we are going to a turning point where prices are starting to increase in restaurants in Montreal, but is it worth it in the current case I will say yes to Monkland Tavern, we will return there.
overpriced but great food. rent is up
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! A little pricey but Im not going to complain that much.
Love the salmon tartare and extensive wine list. $$$$$
Great place and vibe.
Usually a great choice. Tonight the tavern was off. Took 2 hrs to get served and the food wasn t great. Not to mention they got our order incorrect. Too bad. Wow. Unexpected.
Insufficient accompaniment for the main course Slightly disappointing dessert menu
Taverne was delicious!
Good service but someone every second seems to come to the table to check if your drink is finished. The food is pretty expensive for what it is. Not much bar food.
Great service and very good food. Love the cocktails.
Excellent food
Very nice ambiance and the food is good. However it is too pricey for what they serve. I would still recommend this place to go take a drink on their terrace. Service was good too.
Excellent choice of wine and excellent service, even while busy.
Food is always good. Portions however are getting smaller, so it can end up being a pricey meal.
Great restaurant with amazing service and extremely well served dishes. Just had a very important meeting and our experience was seamless, food was tasty and the presentation was delicate but with poise. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, most definitely we will repeat this experience.
AWESOME FOOD....oysters, walleye, meat, lobster , pasta, buffalo cheese and on and on was amazing
Great place for a drink & for dinner
Very good meal and cozy atmosphere.
Great ambiance and food.
Excellent oysters and microbrew for starters. Great tagliatelle, actually really house made, for real. Not cheap, but worth every dollar.
