219 Mont-Royal Ave W, Montreal, Quebec H2T 2T2, Canada
First time at Le Filet and had a tremendous experience. Highly recommend A++ top to bottom helpful and friendly staff, great vibe and delicious meal. Definitely will go back
Loved my time here - we got seats by the counter which gave us a great view of the kitchen. The service staff were fantastic - professional, helpful, and friendly. The food was great with the standouts being the miso oyster (my favorite bite in Montreal) and the honey cake desert. We spent about 300 for two people (including tip) and reservations were required. Will definitely be back next time!
What a beautiful place with the best service/staff! Everything was great, the lobster ravioli with sweetbreads was amazing. The maple syrup square made me think about my grandma’s sugar fudge (delicious). Thank you!!! ☺️
Easily in the conversation for the best restaurant in Montreal… I visit probably 4-6 times a year and it never misses.. The miso gratin oysters ARE the best app in the city, prove me wrong. Staff and service is as strong as the food.
Finally had the chance to try the famous restaurant where you go after your tennis session. It is also a place I highly recommend if your looking for the best service in town and the best variety of fancy plates. Going there, we tried a lot of what is offered on the menu. To start, we ordered the miso gratin oysters. These are one the best things I tried in my life. It is a perfect combination of sweet and sea taste. After, we tried the cold corn soup with foie gras. It was very unctuous and fresh. We then ordered the octopus plate and the wagyu tataki. The octopus was not to squeaky and not to hard, perfectly smooth when we bit it. The wagyu was nothing to special but it was well cooked (medium rare). Moreover, we ordered the linguine plate, the lobster pastas plate and the gemilli pastas plate. All three were amazing. The linguine plate was not as good as the Daily catch restaurant do it but take it if you’re an amateur with this kind of plate. I didn’t really taste the lobster in the pastas but the sweetbreads that comes with it are my second favorite thing I ate between all the plates we ordered. The veel cheek that came with the gemelli pastas was very tender and tasty. Finally, I tried the maple syrup square as dessert. It was very simple but very comforting and not to heavy.
Had very nice French-Japanese meal at Restaurant Le Filet in Montréal Mile End neighbourhood. Food was excellent, ambience and service was good! Reservation recommended. Expensive fine dining restaurant, but food was good. Hope to visit again when in Montreal!
Here for GP weekend and found this gem doing some quick research. Glad I did! Wonderful time with our bartender Steven and great hospitality from everyone else. The food matched their exceptional hospitality and it would be a treat to come again soon. Go and have a great time! Oh and don’t forget the oysters!!!!
Great place to have a dinner. Oysters are a must. I've been here over 10 times now. Everything is very consistent and very good. Reasonable for the price. Service is above average. The staff is attentive and not overwhelming. We had a great white wine which was recommended by the waiter. It was a great match for our dinner. Cocktails are simple and good. Chocolate dessert is my go to finale. Basil ice cream is pretty refreshing. Overall I would recommend this place. It's my go to casual dining without the snobby allure. Go try it out.
Very nice. The scallops were great. Fish of the day was Halibut and it was lovely.
Exceptional
Nickel! We had heard a lot about the Filet, and the fact that you have to book well in advance alone indicates the crowds. However, we are treated with seriousness, kindness, professionalism: the place is busy but without haste or nervousness. Pleasure is a serious thing that cannot be sloppy. Beautiful menu, ultra rigorous cuisine with a nice touch of imagination, magnificent wines. A faultless congratulations, we understand the buzz better.
Great food and service!
Wow a true 10/10 in every ways. Top 5 places in Montreal for sure. Food exceptional. Wine amazing. Service super super. Wow. Kudos to the owners. Rare fine.
The staff was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious but the staff goes out of their way to give great customer service. Highly recommend!
Amazing!!!! Make your reservation today. Everything was exceptional about this place - food, service, drinks. Magnifique!!!
I think this maybe one of my new favourite restaurants here . The service was amazing and every dish that came out was not only visually pleasing but it even tasted better than it looked. Theu choice of oysters , raw and cooked is the definition of fine dining . Every dish that we order did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place to take anyone you re to impress with the Montreal food scene.
The food at this Montréal gem is always outstanding.
Delicious and creative menu! Outstanding service and a cool ambiance.
Great for special occasions! Attentive service. We loved the corn soup and cod special main with parmesan risotto, suateed chanterelles, broccoli puree. Onion rings were a hit too!
Expensive but well worth it Great seafood Food
Cannot love this place more
Amazing
My favorite meal in Montréal.
An excellent restaurant which stands out for its menu mainly focused on fish. The octopus starter was succulent, as was the dried ink pasta. It s very fine with sought-after flavors. The service was impeccable at our table, discreet, attentive, organized... rare. Nice selection of wines but much too expensive in my opinion Offering a more affordable list of wines by the glass would be a good idea.
Exceptional seafood, best tuna tartare in Montreal. Exciting drinks.
If you sit at the counter they give you impeccable service! Food and portions are delicious.
Super good from start to finish! Great service!
The presentation and quality of food was excellent, our waitress and hostess were friendly, attentive and the atmosphere was warm
From start to finish exceptional! Refined cuisine and deserts! I highly recommend.
Overall a good evening. Need to reserve in advance. Good service. Pricey and Difficult parking
I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant and I have to admit that it got to me... - I was still hungry after eating starter + main + dessert because the portions were so small. On the other hand, the flavors were there and the dishes we tasted were really good. - we felt snubbed by the waiter who was visibly more focused on serving the table of girls next door. Even though he gave good recommendations for the wine, he almost poured himself a full glass to taste. Which he quietly sipped during the service... - and the room was still quite noisy, difficult to enjoy a romantic meal. Conclusion: for this type of budget, you can find much better restaurants that will not disappoint you.
I ordered the seafood linguini, the braised short ribs, the oysters (au gratin?), and the maple syrup square. Definitely the closest to a 10/10 meal that I ve had in MTL. Also, very agreeable staff.
We had a magical time in this restaurant. A magnificent place to treat yourself!
Very nice fusion! Tasty dishes, attentive service.
Amazing meal and excellent service!
Great restaurant with haute cuisine dishes.
The experience at Le Filet was overall good but a little bit underwhelming. The decor is not extremely arranged, it looks pretty simple even if overall is stylish, the staff is nice but on of the waiter a little bit too nosy and pretentious with a patronizing vibe. The food is good but I liked more the started than the main course, tuna tataki vs pork with scallops. Overall we paid around 340 cad (taxes and tips included) for two courses each, a shared dessert and a bottle of red wine, too expensive afor the experience we had but still a nice restaurant.
Nothing to add. Success speaks for itself.
Top tier food and service. A fusion of Japanese and French cuisine. Highly recommended! Make sure you reserve a table a head of time as restaurant gets full quickly.
Evening at the bar. The filet is no longer what it was...the kitchen is losing its feathers in my opinion and the daily specials were uninteresting and poorly balanced. I think classic dishes are a better avenue to avoid losing $500. After mentioning to our wonderful waitress that the dishes had disappointed us a lot, the manager offered us desserts. (which is appreciated but we werent hungry anymore unfortunately.) He seemed a little drunk and our last discussion had hints of arrogance on his part unfortunately. Indeed, we cannot please everyone! In short, a lovely evening which ended with a slight bitter taste.
I just wanted to say a big thank you for the great evening of December 31st. The welcome was great, we felt really welcome. Let s talk about food! Each dish was a discovery. You set the bar high for presentation and flavors. And the atmosphere of the restaurant, just perfect for the New Year. Thanks Gang and see you next time.
One of the best tables in town for a romantic dinner. The food is great, the service is impeccable and the ambiance is everything you need to enjoy your time with your significant other. The menu is brief, but everything is done very well. Parking: Arrive 15 mins before if youre driving to make sure you find a parking spot
Delicious meal, attentive service, perfect wine recommendation. A delightful evening, highly recommended. Thanks to the exquisite team for a memorable night!
Absolutely loved the food here and they had a large selection of wine as well. Our group of six spent about $2,000 altogether with three bottles of wine which we thought was very much worth the price for the taste, portions (we ordered about three of each dish/app), quality, and service!
Delicious and charming except for the deeply abusive prices, a friendly waiter and good food but definitely not worth the price of a 3 Michelin star restaurant
Decent food overall. The oysters are exceptional. Main dishes are not perfect: cod is kind of bland while a bit overly peppered. Desserts and cocktails are delightful.
I loved the oysters, must try!! The carpaccio was also delicious, but I was very disappointed by the flank steak. Hard to chew, and for the price, the portions are disappointing.
Loved everything about my experience here. Great food service and atmosphere we stayed like 6 hrs no joke and it was great fun.
From start to finish: perfection
Excellent ambiance and delicious food! First time and very impressed. Although not happy with the waiter s service, I still gave this restaurant a 5 star because everything else was excellent. You have amazing chefs! Cheers to the great chefs!! Recommended dishes
Great view and a place that promises a great romantic outing or to anchor memories to passing friends/family
A truly great restaurant, food was great, service was excellent , in a great atmosphere! Will definitely return.
Great spot for a date! Excellent food, high quality, nice atmosphere, and attentive service! Recommend: oyster (miso & butter baked), tuna tartare, mushroom pasta, and the maple syrup Square. Not recommend: octopus FYI, menus are changed periodically.
Although the food was good, the service disappointed me greatly. The atmosphere is very cold and so are the servers. This is really unfortunate since it greatly affects the experience and leaves me with a bitter taste (the experience/price ratio is disappointing in my opinion).
We were not disappointed. All the dishes were excellent, gourmet, and with a unique touch. We opted for three starters and two main dishes, which we shared. We love the pan-fried scallops as a starter and the Icelandic cod as a main course.
What a beautiful evening! We were elegantly advised by Camille for our menu and wine. The dishes were balanced in flavor and texture. We will come back! THANKS
A Montréal gem. A must try. Chef Okazaki builds his dishes with love. Everything was fresh and the flavours were outstanding. The red snapper sashimi was spectacularly light and bright. The oysters were some of the best Ive had in Montréal. You can tell they are particular with their suppliers and that they have good relationships with them. The scallops with ravaoli left me wanting more. I highly recommend the seafood black squid ink pasta (Ill be back for this). The service was second to none. Friendly staff who made it difficult to leave. We closed out the restaurant with them. Thanks for letting us hang! See you again soon!
Friends recommended the Filet to me and I couldnt wait to try it. Before our meal, I looked at the ratings and reviews online out of curiosity, and was a little concerned when I saw the negative comments. But everything was delicious! The service was excellent and the food was fresh and well seasoned. We ordered PE Island Lucky Lime Oysters and they were perfect. I loved the seafood linguine, which was the best seafood pasta Ive had in a long time! The scallops for starters were also soft. Although the cost was a little higher than elsewhere ($400 for two people), we ordered two dozen oysters, an appetizer to share, two main courses and two desserts, as well as three glasses of wine (which were also very good). I will return to this restaurant for a great occasion! only small negative point: I was there with my father and he found the place a little noisy. If youre looking for a slightly more cozy, quiet atmosphere... not sure if its appropriate but the food is worth the detour!
This place is a high end scam! Extremely overpriced and the portions won t fill a toddler! And the audacity of the server saying our portions are quite big became a running joke in our group after this dine-in! The staff members were fake as hell, the taste was average that could be made better at several low-end seafood restaurants in montreal at half the price, and the menu was mere 6 dishes! The chefs looked like they didn t even finish high-school let aside a culinary! Please don t burn your money at this place, it will literally like burning your money!!
Great service, and delicious food! But it is definitely a pricey location. The squid ink linguini with seafood was quite good.
Le Filet is simply a must in the metropolis! No aspect is neglected, whether it be the welcome, the service or the quality of the dishes. By choosing Le FIlet, you will enjoy a restaurant experience guaranteed to be a success.
Tasty and delicious food , the fish and dessert were great. it s active but it s expensive.
An excellent restaurant. Well worth the visit. I recommend the scallops
Food and cooking skills are below par to say the least. I use to really enjoy this place many years ago. Sad to say that the kitchen staff and monitoring of said staff must be revised with attention as someone could get seriously sick (aside from food being objectionable). Food and safety must always be applied - especially with proteins. Service is great.
Delicious dishes that never disappoint with outstanding service! One of my favourite fine dining restaurants in Montreal that I enjoy going to to celebrate special coassions at. The scallops appetizer was amazing, and if you re feeling adventurous, I highly recommend the sweetbread! Will definitely be back again :)
Best meal in Montreal, great service and food. I own a restaurant, this place is a gem.
The miso oysters are worth the detour, the entire menu is decadent and Maxime gave us unparalleled service! Thank you for the wonderful evening!
Amazing!!! Everything was perfect from the drinks to the dessert. Maxime contributed a lot to the excellence of this evening! THANKS!!!
Favorite restaurant in the city. Can t go wrong
I have been to many restaurants over the past few years, and I have to say that Le Filet is by far one of my favourites. The service here is impeccable and their food is delicious. You cannot go wrong with booking at Le Filet.
Amazing menu and wine list
The place is amazing. The food incredibly tasty and the service is pin point perfect. Vibe is great. Perfect for dates and business dinners.
Exceptional food and servive. Flawless execution all around and personal service in a fast paced atmosphere. A bit loud if that bothers you, but for me it adds to the ambiance.
One of my favorite restaurants for years. Food, impeccable service.
Certainly one of the very good restaurants in Montreal. Very good atmosphere and exceptional service.
I expected more on the plate given the prices, not in quantity but rather the little extras that make the difference. Oysters, scallops, halibut, linguini...it was good. Service a little too much, we want to sell...
What a strange place. It s pretty posh looking and people clearly come here to celebrate something, dressed nicely, and the ambience is certainly nice although nothing special. The food positions itself as something worthy of a Michelin star and the presentation is indeed beautiful and creative. Unfortunately, the flavors are just not there and the combinations don t make sense and don t work together. We started with their baked oysters which happened to be the best dish miso glazed, a tad too sweet but really tasty, an excellent appetizer. Tuna tartare was quite good, with a crunchy seaweed cracker, although I felt like there were too many sesame seeds. Then it all went downhill: scallop appetizer was on a bed of gazpacho that didn t quite pair with them and was absolutely forgettable. Black linguini felt like it was a mix of two dishes pasta was already smothered in sauce but then there were pieces of seafood in the dish (clams, squid) that needed some sauce too and it wasn t there. Overall felt dry, but good flavors. Finally, the lobster sweetbread dish same issue as with pasta, just a bunch or different things beautifully positioned on the plate that don t quite work together; I appreciated seeing green pea shoots there but did the tiny bits of sauce go well with it? Not particularly. And did the sweetbread go with any of it? Not really. And did it have enough sauce? Not at all. The overall experience was also tainted by the fact that we ve waited roughly 40mins (!) just to get our appetizers (when I inquired when it s coming the waiter said are you in a rush? ) and then another 30 mins for the main dishes. The table next to us complained about wait times too. The kitchen needs to figure something out or reduce the number of tables. As it is right now, the wait times are unacceptable.
Such an incredible restaurant!
Such a great spot, 10/10!!!
Disappointing... Passing through Montreal and being gourmets, we had read many rave reviews of this restaurant with its atypical and refined cuisine. The setting is completely intimate and chic, despite some stylistic inconsistencies between the decor, the site and the presentation of the dishes. At first glance, the service is very warm and smiling (too much). We ordered two cocktails, for our taste a little poorly measured and very ungenerous (was it my bar experience speaking?). When the dishes arrived, what a disappointment to find the cuisine not very generous in turn, but above all too salty, overflowing with sauce. The food does not come together in the mouth, at least not as we expected from a restaurant of this standing and at these prices. Its simple, amateur cooking that can be found at better prices. Concerning the dessert, it was also a disappointment with a plate that was too sweet, dull in flavors and colors. In the end, we did not appreciate the attitude of our server who, although very friendly and smiling at the start, quickly rushed to finish our service (after 45 minutes of waiting first for the dishes), when he noticed that we were talking among ourselves, and discreetly of course, about the cooking and the methods used. A total addition of more than $150 which would be worth it elsewhere...
Super fancy spot, almost felt like I was waking into a red carpet event. Will be back soon.
After a lot of waiting after reading the reviews, we took place first ambiance, dim lighting even a little dark, but the problem is the music that you cant hear well by the poor qualities of the very strange sound system.... after having chosen the wine....the (sommelier) does not have the bottle, takes another...did not either...choose a 3rd finally yes....the way the man opens the bottle surprises me, he goes around the cork with all his hands and forgets to give it to me...a starter, 2 courses...a desert...in short, bland dishes not tasty...evening a bit of a failure for a birthday.. . With a bill of $255.00.... seriously.....the only positive point the waitress Mme Desloges....thanks for your smile...PS.but not got for $250.00
Great place and fantastic food and service
What an experience! Outstanding service! Exquisite cuisine The sommelier Nicolas was attentive and surprised us with fantastic discoveries
Excellent cuisine and unparalleled service!
Very delicious price also same $$$$$
I had made the reservation not remembering that we had eaten there this summer. Our experience in the summer was alright, but nothing to make us want to go back. This time was completely the opposite. The food was absolutely incredible, and every single bite was a delight. The team was amazing! There did not go a moment where every one of our needs were met. They have made believers out of us and will surely go again.
Great food, reasonably priced. Found a bug in our wine glass, waiter got us a new one, but wasnt very apologetic about it.
One of the top restaurants in Montreal, excellent service, good portion, dont forget the oysters au gratin. The best!
The best restaurant in Montreal. We are always well received and the food is always delicious. The gemillis with braised veal cheek and oysters with miso are to die for.
Amazing food and experience, our server Steven (and the rest of the staff) was very accommodating and friendly ! We are from our of town and we felt very welcomed! Would definitely recommend!
Nothing really stood out. Will not be back.
Great dining experience and impeccable service!
Wow, an exceptional first experience at this gourmet restaurant. Delicious Asian touch. Impeccable service. Well done!
Always satisfied, it s excellent and the service is top notch. I would go back again without hesitation!
Great service, excellent food and many surprising gems on the wine list. Highly recommend for a festive night out
We had dinner as a group of 6 people and our experience was fantastic! The service is probably the best in Montreal amongst restaurants of similar calibre, the waiters/waitresses are incredibly friendly and attentive. Their oysters, black linguine, pork flank and tuna tartare are amazing. I definitely recommend it for everyone!
If we could give a 10 out of 5 score, we would! Amazing food together with amazing service from the moment we entered to our departure. And, a wonderful vibe with chill music. Fantastic restaurant. We were their first customers of 2022! We celebrated my wifes birthday and the staff and chef made her special evening a truly memorable experience. Thank you, Le Filet.
Great experience, Good food and the service was amazing!
Excellent food and great service! Quality ingredients! Very nice experience of restaurant know-how
Every thing that was ordered was delicious.Service was very good.Very nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed it .I will be back.
Very good food, oysters and tartar are amazing. Good service and nice ambiance! Also a nice selection of whisky =)
An excellent choice of restaurant in Montreal.
We really enjoyed the food here, and would come back again. We ordered all the appetizers except the oysters, and also the squid ink linguini and maple syrup square. The wagyu tataki, octopus, and the pasta were our favorites -a lot of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The tuna tartar and the seared scallops were solid. Didnt like the foie gras, was a bit surprised at the lack of flavor. Though to be fair, this is my first time eating it, and Im generally not a fan of things rich in oil and fats. If I had to nitpick, I found the spicy sauce in the squid ink pasta a bit too overpowering, as it ended up covering the ink flavor as the dish progressed. I personally would have liked to taste more of that special ink flavoring. But this is merely minor detail to a fantastic dish. Overall a great and very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!
One of the best restaurants in town every dish was amazing balance the chef is one of a kind Never been disappointed on the menu s and the quality of food definitely a wonderful experience
An incredible experience! I recommend
Great place, awesome service, perfect food. Everything you need for a memorable night.
Impeccable service, really good quality dishes. Rather targeted for medium and high budgets, count on $70+ for starter and main course. Very nice experience
Amazing food; amazing service. My favorite restaurant in Montreal!
I think this restaurant wins my top 5 ever. The food is delicious and well plated. The staff was very helpful and excellent all around. Would come back for sure.
Absolutely amazing experience! The food and service were exceptional, highly recommend for any occasion :)
Quite honestly, I dont understand the enthusiasm that some people have for this restaurant. Although correctly executed, the dishes are not overwhelming. Considering the prices we would expect more innovation and creativity and also substance. Especially when it comes to fish/seafood (their specialty). Im comfortable spending a lot, even too much $$$ on a dinner at a restaurant, but $328/before service for a dinner for two (with my pregnant partner who doesnt drink) only to find myself looking for another restaurant to get enough sustenance (Thanks to Rouge Gorge) it s how can I put it disappointing!!! I guess the absence of food on the plates is also worth its weight in gold. As for the service, it could have saved the day. Unfortunately no, it was very approximate. Very flat and emotionless. Knowledge of wines and explanations of the menu more than summary. Friendly welcome but nothing more. Atmosphere: what atmosphere? If you want to save that $$$, I really highly suggest: Impasto, Montreal Plaza, Vin Mon Lapin, Cadet, Joe Beef and many others. A table must deliver the goods with similar prices... which is not the case here.
Truly excellent. Everything was tasty. We had impeccable service. We will definitely return.
The main dishes (although expensive) were delicious but the portions were really lacking in generosity. Good service.
I can not even begin to tell you what a 5 star restaurant this is, from the minute you enter until the time you leave. The food is absolutely incredible and the staff are amazing. Our server was Rebecca and we loved her. She was professional yet so friendly and helpful when it came to helping us choose dishes. The entire staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu. Trust me if you want a great night out with the best food this is definitely the place to go. I cant wait to go back.
I like the intimate atmosphere. Professional service, very rare at the moment. We wanted white to accompany the meal. The Chinon is a little bland, the Petit Chablis is a little acidic, in the end we had a glass of Burgundy that was more balanced to our taste. The octopus is well grilled, not rubbery, and very tender in the mouth, with the good taste of grilling. The saffron rice is made with carnaroli, very creamy, melts in the mouth but lasts in the mouth, difficult not to appreciate it. In my opinion, the tomato jam is too much on this plate, a little too sweet, it hides the taste of the octopus. The surprise is the candied lemon slices, excellent to bite into between bites of different elements. The oysters gratin is the best dish of this evening. The breadcrumbs are slightly sweet, just right, they crunch a little, and give a rich texture with the oil cooked to perfection. I loved ! A little disappointed for the dry ink linguini. Because I thought I had dry ink sauce, but actually its paste made with dry ink. But the dish is very good, I like the fact that the seafood is fresh. However there were 2 clams, one of them comes from a 2nd cooking. Im not going to order the veal rice, it wasnt my dish. I didn t like the concept of the slightly watery tiramisu either.
I understand why its been a destination for a while in Montreal. We ordered everything on the menu and shared as a group. Theres nothing we didnt like! Were going to come back! THANKS
Friday June 24 we came to eat at your place and we had a remarkable experience. The food was delicious And the service is the best. Thanks again for everyone who will come back
Never disappointed! the service is excellent, the decor very pleasant, and the dishes are refined! the perfect balance between French and Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend!
One of my favourite culinary experiences thus far .
My favorite restaurant! Everything is wow!
Very interesting discovery although it s been there for 12-years now. Loved the Piscine Cocktail. Fish was perfectly prepared and fresh. Service was outstanding!
Not the cheapest place out there but... If youre looking for a great ambiance, top-notch service, and the tastiest sea food one can dream of, le Filet is the place to visit. And youd start thinking of coming back the moment you leave. Excellent.
wishing there were more stars because the food is unmatched.
Late night supper. Expecting to be blown away. Got a below average overpriced food. The entry dish (Kampachi) had no harmony in the taste. Everything tasted like seasme. The main dish (seafood pasta) was good. But really nothing out of the ordinary. Our friends got the grilled Octopus as an entry dish... tiny piece I have rarely seen and dry. Service was good. But the food for the price, not there.
Perfect dinner, ideal portion, perfect waiting time between services, a little noisy but nothing else negative the waiters and maître dhôtel were incredibly kind
Very nice and cozy place. Food is excellent and service is very attentive! From appetizers to main to deserts, we are very satisfied. One of the better restaurants in the island
Experience with my son in the restaurant le filet... Particularly warm welcome, person attentive to our request. Cozy, modern, classy atmosphere. Clean decor while still being warm. A high quality service where the staff remains alert to meet our needs. Presentation of refined dishes exciting our taste buds in order to better appreciate their flavor. A noted and remarkable address not to be missed. As soon as I visit my son in Montreal, I will rush to your place again. Thanks to you, you helped make this moment even more magnificent!! THANK YOU !!
On the expensive side but some of the selections (kampachi) is very very good with a good selection of wines. We spent a good couple of hours and they brought us a nice candle for our anniversary. Service was good lady spent time explaining us the wine pairings as well as each dish. I d say def one of the best dining experiences in Montreal but More on the expensive side of things.
Top 1
Spectacular! Anyone who says it s not great or overpriced does. Not understand a great restaurant.
One of the best places to go in Montréal. Everything was perfect.. EXCEPT finding a parking spot!!!
Definitely refined place, delectable food. The care taken in the presentation of the dishes and the customers is absolutely incredible. The dishes are delicious, tasty and a masterpiece for the eyes. We literally ate with our eyes. A must-see restaurant.
Easily the best bang for buck culinary experience in Montreal. The miso-gratin oysters are to die for and the service is nothing less than extraordinary. Already been a few times now and will definitely be returning more especially as their menu is always changing and never fails to wow me.
The staff was friendly and informative. The service in general was excellent. Everything we ate was spot on and satisfying.
Treeeees noisy but super good! Asian fusion cuisine with regional products. Never disappointed!
A trendy and delightful restaurant with sea-centric menu. Must try: 1) 3 x 2 oysters, each pair prepared in its own way (you can chose all 6 to be raw or baked if you wish). 2) Hamachi - such an unusual presentation and versatility of taste notes, I want to be back for eat. Grilled octopus did not disappoint either (though I normally prefer a bit more charred). The bar scene is very fun, I managed to chat with a couple next to me and they were very kind to provide amazing recommendations around Montreal. The service was very nice too.
Amazing food. Oysters with 4 different garnishes Grilled Octopus Scallops Fish of the day Prime rib And for dessert: Tiramisu to die for and maple square Every single dish was made to perfection. We will go back again.
Excellent food, great service and the owners do the best to make this spot glamorous, but clients come in wearing tee-shirts or look like their are going to the corner store to look cool. They should not be let into sutch an elgant restaurant.
Very good food
Excellent & extraordinary food. Great service. Very nice atmosphere.
Super delicious dishes by an amazing chef. Good drinks and good terrace.
Excellent service, courteous and friendly. Exquisite food that must be eaten slowly to truly appreciate. Priced fairly for the quality and quantity. Perfect restaurant for a date.
I didnt really like it, I expected better!! I took the hamachi it was good but the rest more or less I expected more flavor....
What an amazing place, amazing owner and service. Sitting on the terrasse feels like being in a different world.
Going to the Filet restaurant isn t just to eat, it s for the experience! What a beautiful restaurant, the food is incredible, quality food, truly extraordinary wine choices. We were served by Dante, several other hosts also received us (unfortunately I dont have their names), we were welcomed like kings! Really, thank you for this perfect evening!
The myso oysters are to die for!!
Delicious and bold
One of my favorite spots, food, service, atmosphere and The Staff make this place a must try. Try the wagyu and the oysters.
Incredible experience.
2nd experience at Le Nett. A long time ago and yesterday. We will start with the service which is fast and impeccable. As for food, we shared everything between two people. We started with oysters 3 variations. It was, in my humble opinion, the only thing that was more or less successful of the evening. I actually liked the fresh oysters, but the cooked ones lost their flavor in the overly sweet creamy sauce. Then everything was excellent , Hamachi sashimi, scallops on risotto, wagyu tataki and octopus. As for alcohol, the drink La Piscine was a perfect aperitif, the sake on the menu is excellent, and the wines by the glass selected are good. Small flaw: Some portions are small for the price.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Still dreaming of the scallops over risotto
Thanks to the whole team the dishes were just wow wow wow excellent a fire team
A perfect evening, the most pleasant staff and very good advice on the culinary level and in the choice of wines. All the dishes were just perfect, we highly recommend
Good dinner, small portions. High bill.
One of the best restaurant in Montreal. The risotto is memorable, the service was excellent, which made for a great evening. We went with our 3 year old, and they didnt make us feel out of place or judged, they had a booster seat for him and were kind to him. Obviously it is more of a fancy restaurant, but since we celebrated my birthday it was nice to be able to be there as a family. Definitely recommend.
I honestly love the food scene in Montréal and Le filet was on another level!! Shoutout to Max the evening was beyond fantastic and the food was exquisite. Will be coming back for sure and recommending it oh so highly! Thank you for the incredible food and phenomenal service! Way Beyond expectations !!
Beautiful dinner as always !
Excellent, both the service and the meal!
Superb service. Refined cuisine. An address to keep and share.
Excellent atmosphere, excellent dinner, excellent service!
Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. All in all a Michelin star level restaurant
Interesting flavors, refined dishes! Excellent moment of sharing
One of the best restaurants in Montreal
Very happy to have been at Le Nett. Lovely place. Attentive waiter. Very attractive price for the quality and choice of dishes. In fact, each dish had a re-invented side whose tastes blended perfectly. The cooking is also on point. The wine list is also well done. I recommend!
