Intime et sans prétention, le restaurant Pincette est un incontournable à Montréal!
I had the octopus risotto and it was absolutely incredible, and fantastic espresso martini! Marie was my server and she was so sweet and very attentive! Would definitely come back, I’d love to experience the dinner menu!
Ambiance and decor is thematic warm and charming. Super friendly service. The food was good. We expected better though. Was a bit disappointed that my lobster was borderline fresh. Tasted like it got washed. Half of it had a bit of a mush texture. I would have returned it but we were on a time crunch and had other engagements later that Saturday night. My daughter, a also a fan of lobster had the raviolis. They were just ok. They tasted more like seafood than lobster. The filling did not have much lobster flesh texture. However the bisque did elevate the dish. I would return but only during lobster season. We will give this place a second chance. Other than that, their scallop ceviche was delicious and their arancini were perfectly textured.
I paid for the tourist price because it is in old port Montreal. Maybe it’s normal? Everything is bit overpriced in that area. Fries were good, salad was not fresh, definitely need to improve on the quality of the salad nobody wanna eat rotten lettuce:) service was excellent though, just a bit slow, ( waiting for more than 10minutes to get my bill)
Friend and I were there Saturday evening and we just can't get over, just how good everything was. Our server was Juliette, she was so polite, funny and sweet, absolute perfection. We started with drinks from the bar, then Grilled Octopus which was simply delicious, our mains where the Lobster Roll with a salad and fries, and the best absolute hands down was the Lobster Ravioli, to die for. If you're in Montreal, you need to treat yourself to the best in Old Montreal. Our bill was reasonable $178.00 and worth every dollar. We will be back!!
We found this place while walking in Vieux-Port around 8 AM ! It's a very nice ambiance and the person who serves us was very kind ! We order the "Omelette chair de crabes" & "Bénédictine Jambon maison" ✨️ The food portion was not worth for the price it cost but it's alright. However, the taste is amazing, we loved the eggs and finish our plates !! My husband and I absolutely loves it and great service ! 🫶
Great service! Took my mom out on her birthday with family members. The staff accommodated us by the window when we requested for a table with a view. The food was great, and our waiter (Stephan) was very friendly and helped us select the best items off the menu considering we were sharing the plates. The calamari was a big hit!!!! They even offered us a free dessert as well wished for my mom’s birthday.
Old Montreal, prime street patio location, amazing service and even better food. Expect to spend money here but the price is well worth it. Each item we ordered was phenomenal and I would absolutely go back for more! FYI - the kitchen shuts down between lunch and supper leaving a small window of time where the menu is reduced. There is a menu that ends at 3, another at 430pm and then dinner starts around 5. The different menus are pretty similar but, if Oysters is what you're looking for, they're only available in the evening. Just check out the menus before you go. We weren't in any rush so we hung out till the dinner menu was available - the staff was super attentive and welcoming the entire time we were there. Thank you Pincette!
This place is fantastic. We came between lunch and dinner so just hung out and drank their delicious Caesars until 17:00 when their dinner menu was available. We had a variety of things and every one of them were so good. It was drizzling rain a bit and we sat outside. They continuously checked on us to make sure we didn't want to move inside. It was refreshing, we were fine, but appreciated how attentive the staff were. Top notch experience!
Great service from Max!
Homemade Lobster Ravioli and Lobster and Clam Cassolette
Best lobster roll i have ever had. Service was excellent. Portions were spot on. Definitely recommend. Food : 5/5 |
had the lobster risotto and the roll . very high quality and well executed. also they have my favorite boreal beers that pair well with seafood! Eloise delivered impeccable service and our night was one that i would recommend to friends. I would say I prefer the east coast or Maine style of lobster roll where there are chunks of lobster instead of more shredded but that is a personal preference that does not impact my review.
Very good time at Pincette and great welcome from our waitress Evelyn with delicious coffees!
Delicious lobster served by a very friendly team. Éloïse was great and the food was very good. If you are going to the port it is worth stopping by!
Nice staff, delicious food in a great atmosphere.
Amazing place , good food and drinks
Very good meal, excellent service Parking: Great parking at the old port
The atmosphere was really nice but the food took so long to arrive at the table. My hubby loved his lobster mac and cheese, I had the lobster ravioli which was not good, the lobster was not fresh sadly. The bread for the table was quite stale also.
Max was our server and so helpful and great.
Loved the burrata and that DELISH green tomato jam! Would have bought jars to take home!
Max was a fantastic server and very knowledgeable about his wines! 5 star would recommend!
Loved the place. Would recomand to anyone, the lobster was just amazing. The service too was spot-on, my waitress Evelyne (I think) was very sweet! This restaurant made me love Montreal!
We had mussels it was ok, but the desert was great, and service amazing. I can recommend it.
The tuna tartare was a real treat, super fresh and full of flavor! In addition, Evelyne s welcome was excellent, super friendly and welcoming. An address to remember :)
Wonderful experience, the ceviche was exquisite and we also remember Evelyne s sympathy and smile. We will come back for sure.
I went to Pincette for the Mtl à Table brunch. To start, Shainas service was exceptional. The service from the manager Camilo was also very pleasant and friendly. We started with the mango and passion fruit smoothie (best smoothie ever!) and we had the fried chicken as well as the breakfast poutine. The food was excellent. In addition, I loved the atmosphere, the decor and the clientele. A big favorite!
The taste is average, nothing special. The fries dont even come with sauce. The three of us ordered lobster dumplings, lobster rice, and lobster rolls... there were about ten lobster dumplings, the lobster rice only had a small layer of rice, the lobster tails were a bit small, and the lobster rolls were relatively large. Because the portion was small, I ordered a surf and turf meal for 59 dollars. It was actually a small steak and 4 small shrimps. The sauce on the steak was average. There was only one waiter and he was very busy. Very disappointed.
Good evening and great service provided by Anthony.
Great experience, excellent welcome and delicious
Max is friendly, smiling and efficient, well done!
Another expensive spot in Montreal for average food. Ravioli taste like dumplings
Max was the man
Max was fantastic! Great vibes, good wine, lobster roll was delish and fries were crispy.
We are very happy with maxs food and service! THANKS !!!
Incredible risotto thanks to evelyne for her kindness
Great time at Pincette in the Old Port! The lobster was great, and Evelyne gave us great service. An address not to be missed if you like seafood!
Very good time at Pincette in the Old Port of Montreal! The atmosphere is welcoming and Evelynes service was really warm. She was able to advise us with enthusiasm and made our experience even more pleasant. The lobster was delicious and perfectly prepared!
My mussels had a delicious white wine sauce and the French fries were crispy. The whole thing for the equivalent of 30. We sat outside. At the beginning of October it almost had a southern flair.
I am disappointed by this lobster bar which served me a very small and dry half lobster, the tail contained very little meat. The fries are definitely not homemade. No, I dont recommend it at all, its too expensive for what it is. The server is very nice though.
Excellent service by Tommy! The roll was delicious!
The roll was wow and Tommys service even better
Excellent service from Loïk, very cozy and warm atmosphere. The food was excellent and the whole family loved it. Thanks again to Loïk!
Loïk was attentive and very friendly! He gave us incredible service, thank you! I recommend this restaurant if you want to have a nice evening!
Wow Loïk wow! Thank you for this incredible service. I recommend Loïk and the ravioli to everyone!
Delicious meal Our server Loik: dazzling
Food
Great brunch served by very nice Max!!!!
The lobster roll is average for the price. It has nice vibe though
Very disappointed, rags without lobster, tolerated noisy customers
We had booked this restaurant for my partners birthday and I must say that we were delighted. She loves seafood, her eyes sparkled in anticipation , we had the Montreal menu at the table and truly an explosion of flavors! It was simply excellent. The service was perfect, no false notes, discreet and available. The choice of wine was impeccable, really a very nice evening, thank you again!!
Had lunch at Pincette. Beef burger was decent but a bit on the small side. Huge portion of fries!
Polite and attentive staff. Delicious food (seasonal pumpkin soup & burger). Nice ambiance - with funky fishing decor. Recommended!
Tommy was attentive and pleasant! He immediately noticed our table needed to be leveled and fixed it
Great place and Tommy was a great server as well
Our waiter Tommy was excellent and very friendly, the food and drinks were Devine
Dismal coffee. Avocado is a purée, not fresh.
Great dinner at this restaurant, the octopus risotto is delicious! Special mention to Evelyne who took great care
Incredible
Quality welcome and very good service provided by Evelyne
Great spot for a warm atmosphere and quiet conversation. We had wine and an appetizer only. The grilled octopus with taboulleh and hummus was delicious!
Very nice experience, staff was so nice
Super good food, nice atmosphere.
Labster sandwich is fresh and putin with labster was great
Very good lobster rissoto
Ah, Canada. Country of vast uncontaminated landscapes, large lakes, polite people and... absolute inability to cook. I recently had the (dis)pleasure of trying this restaurant where I unwisely ordered a grilled lobster. What did I get? Well, calling it a lobster is an insult to crustaceans everywhere. It looked like lobster, I admit, but do you know what the flavor was? Clarified butter. Only and only clarified butter. It looked like someone had had the brilliant idea of drowning the poor animal in a pool of butter and calling the result a gourmet dish. Maybe in Canada they think butter is a universal substitute for any flavor. I should add that the french fries were a few days old! Folly! And lets not talk about the service: as friendly as a popsicle in Labrador. The staff? Cold and decidedly disinclined to make the experience at least bearable. Maybe they thought their aloof attitude gave them a sophisticated air, but no, it was just rude. A dispassionate piece of advice: if you intend to eat well, avoid doing so in Canada. And if you find yourself in a restaurant in these parts, remember: a takeaway sandwich is better than a delicacy of clarified butter. Dont say I didnt warn you.
We had dinner with 9 people. The waitress was very kind and divided the bill for how many families we were. The food was delicious, the quantity was a bit fair, I would say that it is not such a good value for money. We had a plate of risotto with lobster tail. The risotto breaks it, very delicious. The lobster was half dry. We also ordered a meat with potatoes, the meat was a small piece of approximately 10cm and some potatoes, that is, a small plate. Interesting fact: Downstairs, in the basement, there is another place to dine that looked very nice.
Scallops were good as were the oysters Don t order the lobster undercooked , not fresh rubbery, came with soggy greasy fries & over manyosied salad.. expensive! Our waiter was 5 stars Food : 3/5
Suggested lobster and lobster roll. Tourist prices but good quality.
A treat every time! Excellent service, pleasant and accommodating staff. The meal was really delicious! A must-see on every visit!
We were on a weekend trip to old Montreal. Firstly, everything we ate all weekend was review worthy and I wasnt sure that anything would compare to night 1s dinner BUT our last night we visited Pincette, and I was blown away. Our server was knowledgeable sarcastic (like me) and really passionate about the establishment. I am still dreaming about the scallops and cant even put into words the flavor combinations. You MUST eat here and you must try EVERY appetizer.
Specialized in lobster dishes. In Canada you must try the lobster roll. Was very good. Service top, nice wines
This was definitely our weakest meal of our vacation. Atmosphere-wise - great location right in the heart of the tourist area - which should have been an indicator of the food. All of the food was just bland-ish. We started with the octopus - which was actually the shining star of the meal. This dish had good flavor. For entrees - I got the mussels and my husband had the Lobster / Clams Cassolette. The mussels dish was quite bland and lacked any real flavor. My husband thought his dish was fine, but nothing great. Our wines were quite pricey - one glass of rose / pinot noir was $18 USD - which is high priced for a glass of wine. But I guess we paid for the location. I cant recommend the place for food/drinks.
Very beautiful and good restaurant. The oysters are delicious as well as the lobster roll. The only negative comment is that we are rushed. Served much too quickly.
We had lunch here and were satisfied.. we took half a lobster and a lobster roll.. although I liked the second one more, they were both good.. the waiters were very kind and always smiling. I also really liked the place
My family and I went there on a Saturday evening for my birthday. Lets start with the positive. I had the tuna tartare starter and lobster tail on risotto as my main course. It was absolutely delicious. The tartare was very tasty and there was a good ratio of tartare and croutons. The risotto was so good I would have eaten a second helping, I loved the seeds which added a crunchy texture. For dessert I was served a chocolate brownie style cake. Our server Antoine was very friendly. They let us use the staff elevator for my grandmother who has little mobility, which was a greatly appreciated gesture. For the negative points, first of all the floor we were on was very cramped and it was very hot. Throughout the meal my elbows touched those of my father and my friend. The lobster tail portion was very small and was eaten in two bites. Antoine is a good waiter but I think the boss should hire an additional waiter because he was very busy. I only had one glass of water all evening. Without ice. I also had to return 2 wine glasses because they were dirty. It seems like no one wipes the glasses when they come out of the dishwasher. There was only one type of glass, which is used for both cocktails (there are lines helping bartenders put the right volume of alcohol), white wine and red wine. For an establishment of this type, I find it a slight misstep in terms of quality/presentation. All in all, the dishes were very good and I will definitely return. They have another floor down that seems more spacious and quieter, but it seems to be a small hotel so I dont know if its possible to reserve a table to eat.
Excellent restaurant.
Love the lobster and PEI oysters, and the cocktails.
Very pleasant experience. The lobster casserole is excellent. Just missing a small piece of bread for sauce.... To try to please yourself
Delicious brunch!
We had a very nice male server. He was very knowledgeable about the meals they serve. Hostess was very friendly when asked to see menus before sitting down.
Best restaurant in Montreal! Our group of 6 arrived at the restaurant and the staff quickly moved tables so that we could all sit together outside. We had a great view of Old Montreal. Fantastic atmosphere. Stephen was a great waiter! We ate off the lunch menu and each of us really enjoyed our meal! I had the eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. It was delicious! The prices were reasonable as well for a restaurant of this caliber. We ate at a couple other high end restaurants during our stay in Montreal and many of us found that Pincette was our favorite.
The person at the front entrance, who is Caucasian female, should have better attitude. The most nasty experience and service that I got all over the canada. I thought she could be a racist since she was smiling and say please stuff to other Caucasian while saying follow the guy you wanna order?. Mainly, I was waiting for my take out order inside, and she told me to ask if my order is ready and also said you should wait outside okay? I have been having amazing time in Montreal and she made my experience horrible.
Everything was good! And the service even better! Thanks Stephen!
Dropped in on this gem today. Wonderful service, food, and experience. We had Stephen as our waiter, he had great recommendations and was incredibly welcoming.
Im having a bad day but I was served excellently in this restaurant and it made me smile again. I followed the recommendation of Stephan, a waiter at this restaurant. My dish was the lobster tail risotto. I accompanied it with an excellent white wine, again on Stephan s recommendation. He is very smiling and welcoming; moreover all his colleagues (man and woman) were also there throughout my dinner.
Stephen was a wonderful server, very professional and kind. Highly recommend!
Sad taste discovery, fries perhaps homemade but reheated, half dry lobster, ridiculously small!!! Otherwise, nice lobster roll and average poutine. Approximate service but fortunately the young woman of South American origin was pleasant and smiling. Kid-friendliness: No childrens menus unfortunately Wheelchair accessibility: Toilet not wheelchair accessible, too much walking, not suitable
Our waiter, Juliette and her associate, David were the consummate professionals; knowledgeable and utterly helpful and charming! The food was as impressive as the service! Recommended is the scallop appetizer, the lobster ravioli main and the Basque cheesecake.
Adorable waitress Juliette, food a delight! Striped bass, octopus, scallops.
Magnificent aperitif on the terrace! Our waitress Juliette recommended an extraordinary wine to pair perfectly with our oysters. Great experience, great service!
We only took the starter, much too salty and tasteless. We had no desire to continue our meal at this place. We left.
The food was fantastic with fair price points and healthy portions. Juliette made the experience fun and comfortable, and truly made our lunch special.
The three of us each had a wonderful meal The house-made lobster ravioli with hand folded dough was divine. The table was nicely set outside in a beautiful spot in Old Montreal. Juliette was wonderful. She was very patient with our limited French speaking capabilities and kept encouraging us. She was courteous, efficient and made our dining experience pleasurable. We highly recommend eating here.
Awesome dinner spot. Lobster risotto was top notch. Killer recc from bartender Anthony
A good lobster restaurant
Absolutely fantastic restaurant with outstanding food and wine and impeccable service
The rolls were delicious. Excellent service from Marie.
Lovely indoor and outdoor dining. Service was excellent. Lobster roll is delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and great service from Stephen!! I will return when next in Montreal.
The mahi mahi dish was delicious, however what really drove me to leave this review was the exquisite service and hospitality displayed by Stephen. Truly a gent!
A must in the old port!!
My wife and I had the lobster roll lunch meal. The food was delicious. Our waiter Stephen was as nice as can be. He gave us sightseeing tips and was a pleasure to talk to. It was a very nice experience.
Second time in this restaurant, very good dishes and impeccable service. Stephen was adorable and very professional!
Very nice place, and remarkable service (Stephen). To recommend. We will come back
Very very disappointing, lobster, with non-existent flesh, tasteless, served with frozen fries, the lobster although grilled has no taste, very very disappointed
Super nice patio! The food was impeccable!
We walked into this place as a complete coincidence, searching for a good place to have some seafood or lobster. And what serendipity it was, because we absolutely loved it! We will definitely be coming back, and have already recommended the place to friends :). We ordered the large size seafood platter, the grilled calamari and the grilled octopus and loved every single one of them. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, with the highlight being an absolutely mind blowing scallop ceviche. I believe the secret ingredient is a splash of pineapple juice ;). The grilled calamari and octopus both elevated the experience of the seafood by adding in a contrast of texture and flavor, with crunchiness from the tabbouleh/chickpeas or the crispiness of the grilled bits, and an incredible achievement of smokey flavor from the grill. Truly an incredibly flavorful and satisfying experience. Not to mention, the price is absolutely acceptable for such ingredients and quality! The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic as well. The restaurant was full, so we ended up sitting at the bar, which actually improved the experience. It was fascinating to watch the cooks and bartenders at work, and the service was made better by our closer interactions as well. We were served by the main drink mixer for the evening, Gabriel, who absolutely made our night :)! He recommended us an incredible bottle of white wine, and was the one who pointed us to those incredible calamari and octopus dishes. We had a great experience chatting with him, and even received some very pleasant surprises in the form of some incredible oyster shots and extra oysters on the house. We really appreciated it! The night would not have been the same without him :). Overall, an incredible way to finish the day! I loved the entire experience, from food to atmosphere to especially the service, and will definitely come again. Strongly recommend!
Overpriced tourist trap. Could get so much more for less somewhere else. I ordered a lobster meal and got half a lobster. I was told if I wanted a full lobster Id have to order it twice, so like $80 or some ish for a lobster.
Thanks to David who gave us a great evening, suggestions, support and jokes! THANKS ! We had a lovely girls evening
Great food and atmosphere! David knew Make our evening unforgettable! THANKS !!!!
The food was great and the service was amazing! Our waiter was Stephen and was so professional, welcoming, entertaining and gave us an amazing experience. The lovely terrace on one of the Old port s most beautiful streets with the beautiful weather is definitely something I would recommend to everyone. The prices are also very reasonable! Check them out :)
Stephen is an amazing server! The food was great and the atmosphere on the terrace was fantastic! Definitely recommend :)
The food was excellent! Be prepared to spend some cash when you go here though!
The lobster is over cooked and The lobster meat is not succulent enough It is tasty and the picture shows that there might be two small bites of lobster flesh. Food
Great delicious food with friendly attentive service.
Great stop for expertly crafted cocktails and food! Vana is a rock star behind the bar. Great experience all around.
Michael was an excellent server and we enjoyed some fabulous drinks at Pincette when it started storming and we needed shelter.
I really liked this place. The atmosphere was amazing, reminded me Paris. The food was yummy, and fresh fruits and salad on the side Oh !! The breakfast potatoes!!! Mmmm!! You have to try it for sure Recommend
Great food and service! Eloise was awesome!
Very nice experience! Excellent food and Wine options.
Such a lovely lunch, lobster roll is a must. Eloise was such an incredible server, so sweet, kind and attentive!!
From the moment we walked in, Rosemarie greeted us with a smile. The service she provided was impeccable. Her recommendations to us were on point. We had the most delicious breakfast we ever had. I enjoyed the ham and cheese omelette. My companion had the Benedictine vegetable entree. Can t wait to come back. Would highly recommend this gem. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options
We were welcomed in this restaurant (super well located) by Stephen and Éloïse, a very warm welcome and smiling people!! The dishes are super good, it s great I recommend :)
We had a great time and Eloise was amazing!!! Vegetarian options: Amazing seafood! Food : 5/5 |
Great service with Stephen! Great discovery for this restaurant. We highly recommend it!!
It was very good. Maybe a little pricey but we re in Old Montreal! At least the kitchen was up to par!
Food was very disappointing. Lobster was tough because it was overcooked and not worth the money for how it came out with salad and french fries. Mussel casseroles didnt have mussels lol we had 5 pieces of tiny clams. Their mac and cheese that supposed to have shrimp was one of the worst mac and cheese i had. We spent about 300+ including wine. Definitely not worth the money. All the food seems like the chef didnt care at all. The staff was nice but they will stay right next to you while paying and stare at you when tipping. For one time experience, maybe it is okay but I will not go back nor recommend this place to others. Parking: We parked at paid parking garage and walked quite a bit.
I had the pleasure of celebrating my surprise birthday at Pincette. The waitresses were warm and accommodating. It was also the birthday of one of them, Juliette. I shared my cake with her and we talked about how she was going to celebrate. I felt at home. Raphaëlle and Emilie advised me on mocktail choices because I am still undecided on what to drink. My friends and I were the last to leave and they agreed to let us stay a bit to take photos downstairs, after closing.
good food, great service by Stephen.
Great seafood restaurant in Old Port. Bartender was very friendly and had excellent recommendations. Best bar and food in Old Port!
Very very slow service, but nice waitress. Very ordinary food, too expensive for the quality. Tables too close together on the terrace and chairs not comfortable.
Thanks to Stéphen for his excellent service! We ate very well
Decent seafood, not particularly fresh or anything to write home about. Wouldn t go back but wouldn t avoid it either.
Great place with outdoor seating. Friendly service, great location, delicious food and drinks.
We had lobster rolls and a burger. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious. Tommy was an excellent server. He was very attentive and friendly. The air conditioning was a bonus.
Had an excellent meal here. Our waiter Stephen was excellent and really supported the cool atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommend it
Excellent food and great service by Stephen
Exceptional service by Stephen our waiter. Food and atmosphere was super! Food
Wonderful food and service! Stephen was the best! Very friendly and accommodating.
Great experience!! Perfect evening. I recommend the lobster ravioli. The ravioli are homemade, its a must! The grilled octopus starter with hummus was really very good. In short, everything was delicious. We will definitely go back.
food is great, service is great, emilie is super nice and a super host. Ive been a couple times and everytime amazing Food
From starter to dessert everything was delicious. Stephen conscientiously took the time to guide us brilliantly and patiently. The pincette is a Montreal essential that should not be neglected during your vacation in Quebec
Really top restaurant with very good food and service!
Juliette gave us great service! The cod fritters were delicious and the mojito was super well balanced!
We enjoyed ourselves in this nice restaurant. Charming and welcoming welcome and service. Fast service, hearty and tasty dishes. Fair price to treat yourself a little too and get away from overly traditional dishes. The lobster and bisque poutine was excellent. Do not hesitate !
Super good ambient and very nice people specially Vana
Great first dinner in Montreal. Food was great. Service from Vanna also great.
I had the Oyster shooter and oysters on the side. No regrets there! The oysters were fresh and delicious! Im going back to sample their other items on the menu!
I am picky eater who does not like to touch my food. I asked that they take the lobster out of the shell before serving it to my plate. They happily obliged. I asked a small twist to the menu item & they even suggested a different possibility to prepare it. Above & beyond.
We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant. The food is really very good. In terms of service, Juliette was great, very welcoming and very attentive.
Great service and amazing breakfast. A large house and attentive staff.
Very good great service loud music too bad
We loved the place. Super nice, delicious food and wonderful service from Eloise. Recommended!
Eloise was super kind and welcoming! You also gotta get the cod fritters!!
Stephen was very friendly.
Eloise was super friendly and extremely helpful. We wanted another table with shade and she did her best to accommodate us.
The sweet taste of the bisque in gravy is a MUST
Wonderful brunch - excellent food and friendly service. Will go again!
We enjoyed ourselves at Pincette for our first dinner on vacation in Montreal. The welcome is adorable and friendly, the service is super efficient. We ate a tuna carpaccio, and a lobster and scallop casserole with saffron sauce, it was delicious. This is definitely a restaurant I would return to regularly if I were a local. Moreover, there are many locals in this restaurant, even though it is located in the heart of the old town, and that is a good sign.
I love the hostes
Excellent lobster-themed restaurant. The cooking is mastered and the result is there!
I ve been to Montreal twice and both times included Pincette as a must-have meal! Their poutine with crab and lobster is a delicious take on the classic. Cocktails are great, cod fritters awesome, and one of the few restaurants open at odd hours in the area. Lastly, our waiter Gabriel was a gem! He provided great service, was polite and prompt. Thanks, Gabriel and Pincette for a great meal!
Vegetarian options: Un très bon repas je le recommande Food
Excellent restaurant to discover dishes based on Canadian lobster. Fine and tasty dishes. Canadian white wine is very good, everything is there. Stephens service was perfect.
Stephen and Michael were absolutely delightful servers! Stephen went the extra mile to learn and address us by name. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!
The service was outstanding. Emilie and Audra did everything possible to ensure that we enjoyed a fantastic meal. The lobster rolls were substandard, but the octopus was very good. The scallops were excellent. Having grown up in the Northest and lived in New England for decades, i had high expectations for the lobster rolls. After the kitchen disappointed, the staff and management did everything they could to make things right and succeeded. Get the octopus, get the scallops, but avoid the lobster roll. The chef seems to be uninterested in what the customers want, as specific requests will go ignored, but when that happens, management will do everything they can to make the customers happy.
Stephen was great!
Stephen was great!
Absolutely delicious food and great service by Tommy! Well come back :-)
Very good experience in Old Montreal and thank you very much to Éloïse for the quality of her service!
2 people; 2 appetizers and 1 main course. 2 appetizers were one person and the main course for the other. Since it s not common to us that appetizers come first (and no one asked), one person finished their meal and the other person waited half an hour for theirs. mussless were really small in size (smaller than one finger line to be exact) so, misleading (also most were empty and just covered in onions). one of them had hair in it anyway. dont reccomend.
We had a great time at pincette! Loved the lobster roll and the half lobster. Recommend the place and great service.
Very good quality restaurant with impeccable service (Tommy)
Big plus for the service of Juliette, a really nice girl, especially kept in your establishment kisses from France
Excellent service from Juliette! Beautiful evening, great quality seafood. We will come back!
Vana was extremely kind with incredible service. Thank you for the wonderful evening! Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible terrace
Delicious meal, the lobster is fresh and super affordable in season. Special mention to Vana for her efficient, attentive and caring service!
Very good service by Vana! Nice atmosphere and good food.
Excellent evening! The lobster and oysters were excellent, great choice of wine and great service from Juliette. THANKS!
All the staff are superb, especially Éloïse.
It was a great dinner served by Juliette who gives very good advice and is very friendly. We loved our discussions and your sympathy. The dishes are very good, fine and the seafood delicious. A great discovery. Thanks for the evening!
Husband and I had dinner here a few nights ago- overall, enjoyed our experience. Nicely situated in Old Montreal, has patio and indoor seating. Menu had a good selection for food and drinks- highlight of our meal was the octopus with hummus and tabouleh. We also ordered the arincini and lobster roll. Arincini was a bit bland and wished lobster roll had bigger pieces of lobster (had a more shredded-like texture). We had two servers- one was lovely and the other was not very friendly and also forgot part of our order.
Stephen was great throughout, very good service thank you very much. super welcoming and warm. the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere too. The mac and cheese was just meh
Amazing experience ! Food was displayed wonderfully, taste was incredible, music, atmosphere and overall vibe is so charming. 10/10 would recommend if you love seafood ! Food
Excellent lobster, I recommend taking it whole. The waitress who served us was very nice. The place is in the center, not large but very nice. Next I would like to try the lobster sandwich which has excellent reviews.
I had a great experience here. My server, Stephen was fantastic. He was very helpful while ordering.
Excellent, high-quality, very fresh seafood and the service was fantastic. Our waitress Eloise was an absolute gem
A big thank you to Stephen who was adorable, kind and helpful during the meal!
Very good experience this afternoon. We were a group of French friends and we had an excellent meal/time! A big thank you to Stephen for his service and kindness! We will recommend
Great food, Stefan outstanding service!
Highly recommend dinner at Pincette - food was excellent and the staff (Stephen in particular!) were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Cocktails were creative and tasty. We enjoyed the lobster tail risotto and the lobster and clam cassoulet. Definitely worth a visit!
