L’Espagne à Montréal
Interesting Spanish food in Montreal. I had brunch with their table d’hôte menu, which has a starter and main dish for $25. The food portion is good. For the coffee, it was mediocre.
Delicious food. In the summer, they have a great terrace. The Paella is super delicious - and we have been to spain many times. Service was good and drink were also refreshing. The Sangria was good. Padron peppers were delicious. Nice service! Really recommend this place if you’re looking for Spanish food and definitely get the Paella.
Very delicious Spanish restaurant, a variety of Tapas, the manager himself came to verify if all the food served was good, very good selection of wine, the flavor of their food is amazing, the mix of ingredients and presentation, the paella, the shrimps, the seafood, absolutely everything we ordered was unique and delicious, Totally recommended spot, a hidden gem with authentic Spanish food!
I didn’t think I would have the best Spanish tortilla of my life in Montreal, but here we are. Amazing tapas in a pleasant tavern setting with a pretty terrace in the summer. Friendly and efficient service. Also love their happy hour special which is like 15$ per person for vermouth, olives, and pan con tomate. Will be back!!
I recently visited a restaurant called Ibericos, and I was truly impressed. The flavors and combinations of their dishes were absolutely delightful. Everything I tried was incredibly delicious. The service was excellent as well; the staff was attentive and friendly, which added to the overall wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend Ibericos to anyone looking for a fantastic meal with great service!
Best tapas in the city! As a vegetarian there were many options to choose from. The food and sangria was delicious. Our favourite was the eggplant chips and tres leches cake. Not to mention our server, José, was so kind and knowledgeable. Everything he recommended was amazing and he kept us laughing the whole time. We cannot wait to go back!
The food was ok but really nothing more. The service is also quite slow (Wednesday) so be prepared for that. The mushroom appetizer was decent but the sauce was very watery. The churros were terrible. The paella wasn’t bad but not memorable. Overall disappointing place and will not be returning.
I went there with my sister and my niece for Mother's Day and I absolutely loved it. The agua de valencia was very refreshing. The patatas bravas were the best I've ever had. Everything we ordered was delicious! A must try in Montreal!!!
In my opinion, a good place in Montréal, somewhat expensive for what it offers, but apart from Esso, everything is great,
Perfect place to enjoy tapas and sangria in a warm setting. Reasonable price
The best Spanish restaurant in Montreal! Everything is delicious! Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but everybody is super friendly and helpful.
Small cozy place
Ibéricos Taverne is great. I always come back. The food is delicious (I recommend the Sea Paella), the service is friendly and the staff is prepared. Its a nice little atmosphere, a gem of a restaurant in Montreal. Congratulations to the team that works there. I recommend separating your table in advance.
The food is delicious, but the portion of the paella for two people is not enough to fill us up and the price is expensive because I thought it was worth $28 but its $50 for the paella for two people it didnt. not fill any of the group with 2 paella for two people.
Excellent food and service, the quality of the tapas, the paella and the sangria excellent!! Ill be back soon
I came for dinner with my girlfriend and we had some tapas, we finished with a paella and for dessert a cheese cake and churros with chocolate, everything is excellent, you feel in Spain!!
The food was delicious & very pleasant to share. All the seafood tasted super fresh and the menu has a big variety of dishes from tapas to paella. Service went very well, checking in from time to time making sure we had everything we asked for. 10/10 would recommend, definitely coming back again. Best Spanish food in town!
Ibéricos is a gem in Montreal! From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the authentic Spanish décor, it feels like a trip to Spain. The tapas are incredible especially the jamón croquettes and the pulpo a la gallega. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. The wine list is fantastic, featuring great Spanish selections, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Don t miss the crema catalana for dessert it s the perfect finish to an unforgettable meal. Can t wait to return!
I had an amazing dining experience at Ibericos. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was exceptional, every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations. The entire evening was a delight, and I highly recommend Ibericos for anyone looking for a top-notch meal!
A pleasant discovery of this restaurant, the food is excellent from tapas to paella, and the service is remarkable, thanks to the team and to Gaspard who welcomed and served us. I recommend
Very nice atmosphere, impeccable service, no need to raise your hand, a person ready to serve you, very tasty dishes in reasonable quantities, highly recommended
I ordered a seafood paella for 2 people. Price $60 plus tax plus tip. My disappointment was total once I arrived home. I open and find 2 individual boxes (so far so good). I open one of the boxes and I find literally 7 or 8 spoons of rice on which we put, I quote: 1 shrimp, 1 larger shrimp (lol), a BITCH of monkfish, 2 mussels. It looked like a tiny childs entrance. For the taste, I who grew up with the Spanish paella of the Costa del Sol, the rice had been cooked separately there was no link between the fish and the rice no broth, on the dry rice we proudly place each little mouthful of fish (5 or 6) and with each bite you see the cardboard because there is no rice. If its not more fish at least add 200g of rice per portion. The price vs the quantity and quality are ridiculous. I would definitely pay half the price for this paella...no more than $12 per serving First and last time.
An authentic Spanish experience in Montreal, the tapas are very varied in flavor and price range, the paellas are made with very good quality products, I will definitely return thanks to the entire team for their attention.
A warm place with amazing and authentic Spanish food. Every dish was delicious.
The Montreal à table menu was delicious and the service impeccable, great evening
We were a group of 16 people for a birthday dinner. The upstream organization via email with Adriana went very well. The evening was really pleasant. Good food, good wines. The tapas formula is perfect.
Delicious discoveries during Mtl à table An original, hearty and tasty menu for $25. Impeccable service from Raquel. What more could you ask for, hats off to the owners and their team Don t hesitate for a brunch with Spanish flavors
Brunch with MTL à table, it is worthy. $25 with entrée and main and also a drink
The brunch was very good, and the waiter who served us was very friendly
Went to Restaurant Iberico for supper on Saturday. We arrived a few minutes early and were told quite brusquely that we could not wait in the restaurant and asked to leave. Once we returned, we were shown to a table by a rather arrogant waiter. We proceeded to order several tapas tapas -croquetas, charcuterie board, calamari, pan tomate and patatas bravas. The food was quite pedestrian-none of the freshness, flair and flavours found in Spain. After a substantial bill, we left disappointed. Recommend patronizing other, better Spanish restos in Montreal. Overpriced and overbearing.
Was really looking forward to Ibericos. From the moment of arrival, the staff was rude and unaccommadating. We were told that the kitchen was closing and we needed to order everything at once - nothing like a real tapas restautant. The food was substandard - we did not receive everything we ordered. As well, the atmosphere was dark and gloomy. Disappointing all around.
My colleagues & I came here for MTLaTable for a celebratory dinner. The food was delicious, & we enjoyed all 4 courses. Some of the mains couldve been a bigger portion size if intended to share between 2 ppl; specifically the red tuna with mushrooms & the desserts, which were on the small side. My colleague from Barcelona observed that the paella was heavy on the tomato.
Very good restaurant. But a little disappointed with the portions for the paella for four.
We tried the restaurant for brunch for Montreal at Table and we have nothing but good words! The service is also particularly warm!
Trop bon! It is the best food 5/5
Thanks to José for the beautiful service. The food was delicious.
$75 (with taxes and tip) for 2 drinks and 2 starters you have to do it!! Food quality is fair. My negroni was bad and so was my boyfriends beer. I really dont see why people like this restaurant . REALLY overpriced.
Needs some improvement
Divine! Affordable, delicious classic tapas, a charming terrace. I returned to Barcelona for a short while. Excellent!
Delicious, great service, a must-try
The food was delicious, all the staff were super attentive and they spoke French, English and Spanish so lot of options there. We had a seafood Paella for which I would come back any day of the week, Churros and tres leches were also espectacular. It can get really busy so go early on the night. Great Spot for a date night.
The best!
Ibericos is really a very nice place and the food leaves me speechless.
Nice place and lovely food but the sea food Paella which we ordered thinking and also as mentioned on the menu that it serves 2 people was not even enough for one person. In that big dish it was hardly 2 serving spoon s worth of rice and we were charged $65. Crazy expensive.
Very beautiful cover! Super good food that takes you to Spain! Super nice waitress and very nice atmosphere!! We recommend 100%!
The flavors of Spain in Montreal, atmosphere, service, food everything was very good. There is something for all budgets and flavors. My favorite shrimp.
After a long day of touring around Montreal, my husband and I were hungry and looking for somewhere close to our Airbnb for dinner. This was about a 5 minute walk away and we love Spanish food, so we were excited. We started with the pan con tomate, the jamon croquetas, and the bunuelos de bacalao. The bread was crispy on the edges and soft in the middle, topped with perfectly salty tomato. The croquetas and bunuelos were both incredible, the croquetas were creamy, salty, and rich, and the bunuelos were salty with a hint of sweetness from the maple syrup reduction. We shared a seafood paella for 2 as our main and it was unbelievably good. The rice was crispy around the edges of the pan (the perfect socarrat layer) and all the seafood was cooked to perfection. For dessert, we shared the creme brulee, which was decadently creamy and flavored with orange. The meal was a delight from start to finish and the service was attentive and well-paced. We would definitely come back if/when we find ourselves in Montreal again.
Way too overpriced, even for a fancy restaurant. I felt like I got overcharged. The food was decent but too salty for my taste, and the portions were very small. Their paella, in particular, felt more like an appetizer. Although the food is presentable and the restaurant aims to showcase authentic Spanish Cuisine, it definitely didnt meet my expectation and I wouldnt recommend this place.
Delicious food and excellent service
Looks good but food isnt good... be careful la paella is just one layer of rice. Also It says for two people but what it really means its double the price. We thought it was 25$ for one and thats for 2 but in reality its 2 people has to pay 25 for a total of 50$. What angers me is the quantity and quality isnt there... greasy salty and burned. The quantity isnt enough for 2 adults... its enough to feed one child.
Food was good, not great. Overpriced for what you get for sure. Bank on the tapas, the paella isnt worth it
The food is absolutely spectacular, and the service, without a doubt, the best I have ever received. I loved the octopus and the black rice, duck croquettes, cod croquettes, gazpacho, everything was perfect. I recommend it 100%
We had dinner at this restaurant during our stay in Montreal. Great atmosphere, great terrace, we recommend booking! The menu is rich, lots of choice so it s really a great menu! We order our tapas (3) as well as a paella for one person, telling the waitress (who was adorable) that my companion is allergic to certain shellfish, she confirms that in this paella there are no such products. . The tapas were very good and the paella comes and I see some shrimp on top. I sent the paella back with a lot of guilt towards the kitchen which closed shortly after! They ask me what paella I want so we take a paella without seafood to make their task easier, he offers me a paella with chicken and rabbit which I accept. 10 minutes later the new paella arrives, a huge dish, we understand that this one is for two and not for one person as agreed at the beginning. The waitress tells me that this paella cannot be made for one person only for two. I ask myself the question without asking the price knowing that I had it in front of my eyes, that it was imposed on me, and that I had already disturbed the kitchen. The surprise was huge when on the bill I saw the price of the paella for two people and not for one. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the waitress who didnt know how to do or say anything to me except sorry the manager gave her orders behind our backs asking us if we wanted dessert or a drink. We kindly declined it. The manager was immensely courageous in sending this very, very, very nice waitress to take all the criticism that I would have been delighted to say to her face. In short, behavior worthy of a waiter without any training, with principles close to nothing which correspond neither to kindness nor generosity and respect for what catering in general should be. Thank you to the young lady who was very kind towards us and who was able to compensate for the lack of professionalism of her manager who preferred to stay in front of her computer without paying the slightest attention to the heart of her job: the customers! And I tell you this coming from the manager of a 3 Michelin macarons. THANKS.
UNFORGETTABLE MEAL. Honestly the ingredient quality and flavors and cooking are hard to beat. Some of the best paella & gambas I ve ever had - the spice is perfect and the seafood is so fresh and cooked perfectly. The sangria was so refreshing and fantastic and just the perfect balance of sweet and fruit and wine. Service was attentive and kind; we had a large party of 7 and the staff went above and beyond. Desserts were also to die for, as well as the post-meal coffee. The pineapple cake in the frozen pineapple and the churros knocked it out of the park. We ordered- Squid ink paella Seafood paella Tortilla Tomato salad Brussel sprouts salad (so delicious) Almonds/olives Duck Croquettes Pan con Tomate Gambas Iberico ham Patatas bravas Coca bread Everything was truly incredible, I m drooling just thinking about it
Amazing and unique plates. Tres leches cake is the real deal.
I really liked the patatas bravas and the ham & cheese croquettes. However, their fried squid and fried eggplant tasted too much like flour. The service was very friendly!
The Seafood Paella really lacks taste and the quantity is not even enough for one person, even the seafood has no taste except the central shrimp in the middle. Im still disappointed with my experience.
A very nice discovery! I strongly recommend this little Iberian restaurant to all lovers of escape and good, friendly food .
Solid gold Spanish
Really good food and a really nice service.
Very good! The food is very fresh
Super nice terrace! I love the oysters here. The food is very delicious. The service is dynamic, but the waiters never come to your table to make sure everything is going well. Sometimes we understand the rush, but this day, at the time of my visit, there werent many people. Dietary restrictions: They serve fish.
The Paella offered at this establishment is of the highest caliber in Montreal. The staff demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and professionalism, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The culinary offerings were truly remarkable, providing an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
One of best tartar de buey, highly recommended
Good food. On the expensive side, as are most tapas places. Service was quick.
Wasnt sure at the beginning because of the ambiance upstairs, but as soon as I tasted the first dish I was sold. Cannot fault any of the dishes I had and service was top notch. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible for wheelchairs except outdoor dining.
Wowwww!! Im rolling on the floor because I ate so much with the tasting service. We got our $$ s worth and all the dishes were so delicious
Food taste good. But only the quantity of rice for the paella were really poor. For 16$ I don t think that we deserve like 1/10 fill of the small container. Rice is really not that expensive please add more/ we just don t deserve to be serve around like eight spoon. I understand for the condiment. one 1/2 inch square fish, one calamari 1/3 inch but one super big king shrimps and 4 mussels.
Excellent food service and ambiance. Perfection. What else can I say
Nice warm place. The waiter brought us our dishes and described them to us in detail. Friendly staff and delicious food
Good food and attention.
The dishes were very good, and the service too, but very very expensive. For 4 people our bill was $330.
Best authentic Spanish tapas restaurant in Montréal
Dégustation menu is awesome. All dietary restrictions took into account We were so full. Timely service Food
Quality had definitely gone down. Tartare swimming in oil. Patatas bravas sauce tasting more like mayo than brava sauce. Good service though Food : 1/5 |
Best croquettes in town
Fabulous food we couldnt fault it. Really excellent all round.
Very good
Superb experience the tapas were tasty, the paella delicious and Mathildes service was excellent, always with a superb smile.
Delicious food, dishes are served quickly. The staff is generally nice, except the host who forgot to be friendly. The restaurant opens at 12:25 instead of 12:00, she opens the door and simply tells us we forgot to remove the chain, you can come in . Too bad for a host who makes the first impression. Fortunately the food and the waitress in charge of our table made up for it!
The restaurant, the service, the food.. it s incredible. 100% approved. I came all the way from Toronto and I m really happy to get to knowing this restaurant. The food is amazing! Thanks chef
Very good tapas, grilled octopus, and palea
Damn, the paella is expensive for the amount it is.
Delicious tapas in the Plateau area! Everything we tried was delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the patatas bravas, the calamari with squid ink aioli, the croquettes, the huevos espagnola.. all super delish and leaves you wanting more!
Huge problems the night we went, Friday, May 3rd. Sat at bar. There was a long wait to get our food (it was very busy). But then we didn t get a third dish we ordered for a very long time. Finally I asked what happened. The bartender went away and came back and blamed us for not telling her when we wanted the food. (She never asked.) Turned out that our third dish had been done for some time, so when she brought it to us, it was cold. I was shocked. I mentioned to the manager that it was cold and not good and he just ignored the comment. (We noticed that at least one other table had similar issues - there was an animated discussion about how cold their dish was.). The dish in particular, octopus, was rather underwhelming in terms of how much octopus was actually in the dish. Super disappointing evening and horrible service.
Authentic
We visited for the first time last night and it definitely will not be the last time. The food was absolutely delicious. We were served in a relaxing pace & had time to enjoy each dish. The service was great; from the servers to the manager. The only negative is trying to find parking in the area and the meter that would not cooperate but thats the city, not the restaurant This is a definite must try!!
Everything was perfect! The service, the dishes. Having been to Spain twice, it s as good or even better! We will definitely return! Thanks to the warm team.
The food is very delicious
Absolutely delicious. A bit pricey for the portion you get, but everything tasted amazing. The service was also great.
Delicious dinner
We went there to celebrate my mother s birthday and it was amazing!! The atmosphere was great and I would highly recommend to sit outside if possible. Fried eggplants and the zucchini were delicious. Just bu cautious, portions are small. Service was a bit slow but that wasn t a problem for us. Servers were so kind and knowledgeable and they even gave as an extra cheesecake for my mom. Loved it!!
Excellent restaurant! We took the service for two people (chefs choice) for $77. The quality and quantity of food easily explains the price. A total of 5 courses, not counting the initial tastings and charcuterie. Not to mention the dessert at the end! With a cocktail too!
A small patio at the front at street level with a few tables, then down a few steps into the air-conditioned dining room and bar. Tapas are good, especially the gazpacho.
I have nothing to say against the service, the girls were very friendly. The atmosphere was okay, but Ive probably tasted the worst paella Ive ever had in my life. A miserable portion, tasteless and also stuck to the bottom. Probably anyone who has never tried paella in his life will find it good. But gentlemen, it doesnt go with me.
The service is good but very disappointed with this second visit because my paella is very oily. The first time was excellent but today a total flop in terms of taste. We ate to limit waste but the oil remains at the back of our throats.
Not complaint thanks
We went with another couple. 2 paellas for 4 people $40 each. We had the black rice paella with lobster . One of the paellas had burnt rice and it tasted burnt. Then there was half a small lobster per paella for 2 people. And the seafood in each paella could be counted on the fingers of one hand.. very disappointing.. on the photo it is 1 paella for 2 people. We had 2 like that. He had almost no seafood we were fighting to find the squid.. then half the lobster had 1 claw and 1 small lobster tail for 2 people. $40 per person so $80 for this paella. Total $160 for 4 people 1 lobster and a few pieces of squid.. not to mention that the rice had a thin crust as high as 1 grain of rice.. what a stuffing For the price its really not up to par. We were all disappointed. Personally we wouldnt go back there.
Its very expensive for what you eat. The wait for paella was endless (over an hour for a paella dish for two). Served with dessert plates, each person was only able to fill their plate once, so thats not much for the wait... We spent most of our time waiting for our dishes trying to entertain our baby who couldnt wait any longer. Fortunately the bar next door had a rock jazz concert, it brought the atmosphere outside.
Feta honey eggplant was the highlight.
Too expensive. The food is regular, not close to original spanish tapas. Service was good.
Tried their paella and was amazing. The zucchini flowers with ricotta, delicious!! We also had the Brussels sprouts salad and was to die for. And the dulcd de leche incredible! Well definitely come back!!
Second time here and was as good if not better. Brussel sprouts, octopus and seafood paella are musts!
Very good Paella and the waitress was very kind.
Incredible food with the freshest ingredients! We had the seafood paella, octopus, patatas bravas and the Iberian ham. Everything was amazing, and our server gave us great recommendations.
Great paella and tapas, authentic and comparable to good restaurants we tried in spain
I really recommend the lobster and squid ink paella for 2. It was expensive but really very good!
Spanish atmosphere with good cheese (yes yes) and good cold meats.
High value for money despite ok cuisine
I ll start this by saying I never leave bad reviews. And also by saying that the octopus tasted great. And then the paella came with bad baad mussels. We complained. It took good 20 minutes for the waiter to come back and tell us «chef agrees, mussels are bad, he will cook them again ». Paella was almost done by then, we had two hungry kids with us- no point in mussels. Plus one person at the table ate one mussel after which already started feeling nauseous. We asked for the bill, which came with full price everything. Asked the manager, who told us it s his first time he is hearing about our issue (mind you place is very small and he was sitting at the bar right next to our table, chilling most of the time, I don t know maybe he was on break but still.) After giving us a remark for being bit agressive (at this point we are waiting Half hour for a resolution) they removed 28$ from our bill - which is funny considering the food poising you can get from bad shellfish. Could have been a great place, but oh well!!!
Tried several things from the menu and everything was so delicious! Highly recommended the grilled octopus, and the paella!
Went as part of a business dinner and the food was stellar! Great ambiance, though I am blissfully unaware on price!
nothing recommendable, little food and very expensive apart from the fact that they charge you without knowing what it is, when you ask for explanations why the cost of the bill is not given reasons, they only charge, avoid going to this place
Guys, the grilled octopus is incredible I would go back just for that! All the tapas are excellent and very good service!
Very good paella! the decoration of the restaurant was nice
We came here last weekend for mothers day and I have to say extremely disappointed. This paella is supposed to be for 4 adults and was $68!! This dish fed barely 2 people. If you ever had a paella, you know this is a joke with seeing through the rice. Aside from that, it had so much oil, not good. This is an insult to the customer. It s not my first time here and sad they are being so greedy. Forgot to take a picture of the Ibericos that were basically 10 very small pieces of charcuterie for $30. This is ridiculous and will never go back.
I can t compare to other spanish restaurants since it s my first but it was amazing!!! The tapas were incredible. My favourite was the Buñuelos de bacalao, the complexity of the taste so subtle yet it s an explosion of flavours between the lemon zest and the maple with a fine fish taste. The patatas bravas is a must have and super to alternate from a dish to another. The paella was beyond expectations and tuna was so fresh. Overall it was one of the best that I have had di far in Montréal!!
I would recommend it a thousand times, its staff is the best, its attention is 10 and its flavor is unmatched, you really should visit this place if you come to Montreal
It s not the first time I ve been to Ibéricos. It was even one of my favorite restaurants. However, after my visit in May 2024, I am unlikely to return. We ordered the paella. There were only 6 shrimps for 2 people. At $28/person, we expect better. During our visit in November 2023, 6 months ago, for the same dish, there were 14 shrimps. It is very sad to see the decrease and yet, prices have not fallen, on the contrary. Very unfortunate.
Good Spanish food selection! Great place to have some tapas but maybe a bit expensive. Anyway, I d recommend it. Amazing torrija with crema catalana ice cream, it is a must!
Excellent tapas restaurant. Everything is delicious there. Reminded us of our trip to Barcelona.
Really a nice place for the authentic Spanish experience with a few surprises from the chef. Very nice waitress!
The paella was not very good, the churros tasted like fish... they probably put them in the same oil as the croquettes... the waiter verbally suggested to us that we should tip him 20% when the service was really slow, our reservation was 8 and We left there at 11 Very expensive for what it is.
I have been away from Spain for a year and I was looking for food from there, someone recommended this place to me, the truth is that it is very beautiful, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very good. But I must say that the food disappointed me a little, I ordered broken eggs with ham and truffle, I felt the potatoes were very oily (it could be that the oil was not very hot, we arrived early and they were kind enough to serve us anyway) but the egg was scrambled and I havent seen that anywhere there, in fact I think that gives a very delicious touch to the dish, then I ordered eggplant with honey, its one of my favorite dishes but I didnt like this one at all, it had little honey and its The first time I eat it with cream or Greek yogurt, I couldnt say what it is, I must say that that hurt me. On the other hand, the oxtail croquettes and trumpets of death were delicious and we ordered the Basque cheesecake for dessert, it was truly incredible.
Everything was delicious, the paella like in Spain, very good! Croquettes, omelette, we will repeat without a doubt. The best Spanish food restaurant in Montreal!
Excellent menu, friendly staff, I will come back
Wow!!! What a great experience at ibericos. It was a first for us and RVD was very satisfied. Friendly and attentive waitress. Warm atmosphere. Absolutely worth doing again. 0
Absolutely fantastic dinner of tapas and sangria!! The quality of the food was outstanding!! Food
Wowwwwwww culinary experience
Great discovery on rue St-Denis. A lot of Spaniards go there, that says it all!
The food is amazing. In addition to the fabulous and very festive atmosphere, the staff is incredibly kind and adorable. A team, a restaurant that reflects their products: simply excellent!
Good restaurant overall, although extremely expensive (4 small croquettes for $12 excluding taxes ). Plan a big budget to eat your fill! The most surprising being the number of servers, so many that some remain immobile and bored. Not sure Ill go back.
dont be fooled with the 4.5 stars lol we took a supposedly LARGE seafood paella lol we received a base plate with some grain of rice, 2 shrimp and 4 mussels (this is not an exaggeration) and that cost 30 coins! We strongly advise against
I loved the food and the atmosphere. It was an enjoyable memory. Definitely will try it again!
The food here was absolutely delicious. The grilled octopus and the patatas bravas were my absolute favorite!! But anything we tried was so good. The paella was 10/10! Best one Ive had in Montréal so far. Their deserts were equally as exquisite. The staff was also really attentive and helpful when we had questions. I will definitely be going back when I get the chance!
Delicious, relaxed, friendly service...
Food is very good but the serving amount is extremely small even when not eating tapas. The paella for 2 can easily be eaten by a single adult. I recommend the Torrijas with ice-cream for dessert. And you have to order an entry dish or you will leave hungry. Without drinks a dinner for 2 is easily above 100 dollars
The best Spanish food in Montreal, I recommend it 100%, the service is TOP TOP and the taste of the food is extraordinary, dont hesitate to go and live the experience.
How lucky me and my friend were to walk into this incredible restaurant by chance. As soon as we arrive we hear very nice music, the atmosphere is really good. The smiling person gave us a place in front of the very comfortable window We were served by Rebecca excellent service from to az She offered us the serano ham wow what a delight it is really good We tried several tapas, each one equally delicious. Thanks to the whole team I highly recommend this place of choice. See you soon
Very good value for money.
From start to finish it was a great gastronomic experience with exemplary service!
I recommend in every way! Everything was good!! Beautiful atmosphere and very good service!
In terms of atmosphere, the look is perfect, you have the impression of coming out of Quebec, slightly dim lighting, beautiful Spanish music, not too loud. Not a big room, you feel intimate. In terms of service, I didnt wait for anything, everything arrived in line and it was perfect. But the real star is the food. I really liked the tapas format to share. There are several vegetarian options, which makes it possible to bring together more people. For our part, we tasted the squash with marinated cabbage, the fried eggplant with honey, yogurt, feta and pine nuts, the tomato bread, the Spanish omelette and, a carnivorous option for me, the pork cheek with cream of potato and vegetables. EVERYTHING was delicious, my favorites being the squash(wow) and the pork cheek which was so tender. For dessert, a crème brûlée unfortunately less effective, the bitterness of the orange having spoiled my pleasure, and a tres leches cake so satisfying that we could have licked the plate. Their sangria is really excellent, even in virgin format. Discovery made by chance while looking for what to eat and we will definitely go back to try the paella. For the price $120 for 3 to eat quite enough and discover new things, its very reasonable
Reservations for 13 people impossible. The staff contradicts themselves from one call to the next, only to tell us at the end that they will not take us. We called back yesterday, and now nothing is possible like at the beginning with the choice of menus etc. The organization is beautiful, great professionalism
LARGE GROUP: Run away! (well scare you away anyway). There were going to be 13 of us. In the current context, filling your dining room is a boon for restaurateurs. A large group is therefore a blessing... But apparently not at Ibéricos. Firstly, it s an obstacle course to get a table: everyone takes turns passing the ball (call then call then email then call) to respond to you. Once its done: $10 reservation per person (even my doctor doesnt charge me that). After which you will have to choose from 3 set menus the manager will not tell you (you have to guess) but you will ALL have to choose the same menu. This is the canteen. To top it all off, you will have an arrogant, unhelpful person on the line who feels like they are annoying from start to finish. We will certainly dare to shout at you on the phone no no, but you don t understand anything! » while a little questioning would do some good. Brief.
Delicious authentic food, a fantastic atmosphere! Enjoying cold Spanish beer and delightful music playing... I would definitely return again!
Great place!
Super nice discovery, excellent meal with the help of Alvaro our waiter (sorry if the name is spelled wrong) we ate really well!!!
CAUTION: If you prefer or are planning on paying by CASH, you might want to reconsider visiting this restaurant. Despite enjoying a great meal (albeit with the minor inconvenience of the waiter checking on us only after we finished), I encountered an issue when attempting to settle the bill with cash. Unfortunately, the waiter informed me that they couldnt provide change for my $13, which was absurd, leading me to pay by card instead. This incident was truly embarrassing for both myself and the restaurant. Im deeply disappointed by this experience and the fact that cash payments werent accommodated. Its disheartening that such a fundamental aspect of transactions became a point of contention, particularly when it soured what should have been an enjoyable evening.
best food in area, tried the sandwich with jamón serrano and manchego cheese, and the seafood paella, they were incredible!!! Then I got the cheesecake and it s so tasty. The service was so good, people there is so nice. Definitely coming back
Impressive, impeccable, delightful, delicious shall i go on?! Easily the best Spanish restaurant in town. The staff is amazing, to say the least and if you get to meet the Chef/Owner of the restaurant, Haissam you will never try another Spanish restaurant in Montreal, his passion carries through all the dishes they serve at Ibericos, this place is simply amazing!
Fabulous. A detour on the wonderfully prepared dishes. We gained experience from the chef. We traveled on our taste buds....
Found this little gem walking by the other night. Delicious Spanish food. The paella was a bit dry. But its still very tasty. Had great wine selection. My friends and I were very pleased. The waiters are friendly and give an excellent experience. Atmosphere was chill, loved the decor and style. Will definitely go back.
We were delighted, my friend, her husband and I! It tasted like tapas from the Costa del Sol! We immersed ourselves in our memories... It was easy with these delicious dishes!
Authentic Spanish food!! This was a great place to celebrate my birthday with my family as we have been to Spain multiple times. Our waiter Alvaro was wonderful and gave good recommendations! I will definitely come back. Also my mom is a dork.
Food was delicious. Our server Alvaro gave great recommendations on different tapas. We will definitely return!
Delicious! We were two people during the week at lunch time. We each ordered an appetizer (cod fritters and croquettes) and a seafood paella. Additional, tres leches dessert. Everything tastes very good, the dessert is super fluffy and soft. Great music, great service. I would go back whenever I have cravings each one cost us approximately 70 CAD including tips and tax.
Soooo goooooood! The paella is fresh made, their side dishes are amazing and its a cute cozy place. I wanna def go back more often if i can!
Wonderful! Excellent food, best Spanish paella, nice and cozy atmosphere
Loved the paella we shared with a group of 4. The selection of desserts was delicious. Nice vibe and very friendly staff!
Little trip to Spain.
Amazing food!!!!!!
You would have thought we were in Spain: such is the atmosphere, and the cuisine is authentic and honest. Choice of wines - extraordinary!
Amazing food. A bit spendy but worth it for the flavors.
Very good warm and comforting restaurant. We had several tapas and a black seafood paella to share. Everything was excellent
Our experience at Ibericos was fantastic! Complimentary glasses of bubbles to celebrate our anniversary for starters. There were plenty of options. We chose a variety of Tapas and each one presented very well. Everything was fresh and packed full of flavours! The decor was very nice and our waiter made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend!!
Succulent! Refined tapas. Beautiful decor, lovely intimate atmosphere. Very friendly staff
