Akami sushi in Montreal

Delicious!!! I love the general tao sandwich. Must try. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very good sushi, fresh and generous. The only downside IMHO was that the pickled ginger was a bit old. But for the fish everything was excellent.

Dont be fooled by the platters, the sushi has almost no fish and even less salmon. No wasabi but a wasabi-flavored paste still in the industrial packaging next to the sushi. So $20 for 20g of fish, and 150g of rice and cucumbers. They are not all done at the time

This is the 2nd time Ive eaten here. The sushi is fresh, the service is fast, and the staff is very cheerful. I wish them to have more customers

I placed an order to deliver at home through their website. And after waiting 45 minutes, I learned from the delivery person that the restaurant was closed. The service is not serious and their website is terrible.

We loved the sushi, General Tao, imperial roll, the fresh taste, they are nice, great service!!!

I recommend, personally particularly friendly!

I ordered their rare beef pho to take home and OMG it was bad. I found that the soup tasted nothing like the soups I order elsewhere in the neighborhood or even in Chinatown, it was very simple and tasteless, and when I smelled the broth alone, I found it almost bad... The Pho broth alone usually has fantastic flavors, but this one was almost horrible. Specifically for pho soup, I absolutely do not recommend this establishment and other options in the neighborhood are equivalent to the quality of pho soups that I recognize in good restaurants in Montreal.

I dont regret going there. It was the best Vietnamese food Ive had in my life. Yall should definitely try their dishes.

No joke, the food is so good

We werent sure what to expect as this place opened very quickly and has a pan-Asian menu (which sometimes means everything is decent but nothing is great), but we decided to try the sushi and it was delicious. The service is friendly, fast and accommodating and the prices are reasonable. This isnt the place to go if youre looking for an upscale dining experience, but for a nice, casual dine-in or takeout meal Id recommend checking it out.

Newly opens in the neighbourhood nice design, good atmosphere and great service

The grilled pork banh mi is frankly delicious, it exceeded all expectations. The tartar maki was also really good. Can t wait to try the rest of the menu!

The food was absolutely perfect! Fresh, great portions and very delicious. This place absolutely deserves 5 stars. For the price you wont find anything better and fresher than this!

Tried here for the first time because they were advertising %20 off for their new opening. Ordered their general tao chicken and was shocked at how SMALL the portions were! I mean they really skimp on the chicken there were like 8 small pieces total. I would never pay full price, even with the discount. For that price, I would have expected at least a full plate of general tao chicken, just like many other asian restaurants. What a joke! You get much better portions elsewhere like Ma poule mouillé for your hard earned money!

I had their lunch sushi combo. The sushi pieces were WARM and seemed to be pre-rolled and were awful in terms of taste. The soy sauce was sweet, the wasabi paste was tasteless. Spend your money elsewhere.

I loved the makis and the mango smoothie. Fresh and delicious food, and the staff is friendly. I will definitely come back, cant wait to try the rest of the menu! :)

The food is excellent and the owners are very welcoming. I ordered the 100 piece platter and was able to take advantage of a 20% discount to celebrate the opening of his restaurant in addition to a free dragon eye roll. Its definitely worth it.

I love the atmosphere and the variety that the restaurant offers. The owners are friendly. The sushi is impeccable! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, no wonder this type of cuisine.

Amazing overall with great service

I rarely eat sushi this fresh. I ordered Madame Buttefly and the portion was additional to what we normally have in other restaurants. It was really delicious, and the price makes you want to go back often. I highly recommend!!
