I recently had the pleasure of dining at Avesta, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, with rich flavors and authentic Turkish dishes that left me wanting more. The live performances added so much energy and charm to the evening, perfectly complementing the vibrant atmosphere. On top of that, the service was amazing—attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect. Avesta is a must-visit for anyone looking for incredible food and a memorable dining experience!
Walking in the whole restaurant was empty and not reserved, but we were guided to the smallest table where we didn't wanna sit. The food came, and it tasted hideous. We took a few bites and left it. Other than that, the woman making bread in front of us was good!
Simple, tasty, and small cozy restaurant that serves authentic Turkish dishes. We ordered: beef Gözleme, Sadj Lamb, Avesta salad and the best of the best, Manti. All super fresh and served very quickly. We ended the night with an authentic Turkish tea. I would definitely come back to try other dishes.
We are first time try to eat Turkish food. We order coffee and two different dishes. Wow it was so good.
This is one of my favourite Turkish restaurants! The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. Çok sevdim 😍
Never coming again! First of all the staff are beyond unprofessional, we walked in the waiters didn’t take our orders or approach us, one was just chilling at the cash and the other was sitting and eating at the table, secondly as we proceeded to order the girl was not very familiar with the menu when we asked her, and we ended up getting lahm macoun with yogurt and cheese burek, and ended it up with baclava and tea. As someone from Turkey, the food is very lacking, and seemed cold and not freshly prepared, the flavor was not there too, we didn’t enjoy them at all, tasted like it was prepared a week ago then microwaved before serving. The baclava was the worst I ever had in my whole life, soggy AF, very watery which is exactly the opposite of how turkish baclava should be, was soaking in sugar syrup and tasted nothing like real baclava, just tasted like dough soaked in water and sugar. ‼️Another really unpleasant thing we witnessed is how the staff was eating everything of the food they served us which further turned us of ❌❌ Not to mention paying over 50$ for literally 2 pieces of pastries and 4 tiny pieces of baclava which is extremely overpriced especially that the quality and flavor wasn’t there Do better Avesta 👎👎👎
My friend and I had a very good experience at this restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. Our food was delicious from starters to dessert and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely come back.
Turkish food, several times I went there from the first time i came to Montreal, i ❤️ the bread that they make it there traditional way, Muhammara & borek 😋 and lamb shank 😍, i still love the food but i think before was more tasty. 🍷
No change in 10 years.
Nice place, good food. A bit pricey
The food was okay. The chicken/beef kebab, eskender, muhammara, all tasted pretty bland. The only main dish I liked was the manti. For dessert, the knefeh was good and we enjoyed the Turkish tea.
Khadija, a very nice and welcoming person at Avesta Restaurant with nice service, nice smile , and made the atmosphere so friendly. She deserves raise I will be back for sure and recommend this restaurant. Food
top service atmosphere too I love it
Beautiful authentic place
i love it ! so kofta ayran is the best!
Food very tasty and fresh I really recommend it
A very good evening in this beautiful, original restaurant! The service was impeccable and the food delicious Thanks Avesta!
Very delicious!
I lived in Türkiye for a year and finding this place was like going back there. We ordered a lamb dish and several sides. Everything was delicious
Food was good but not enough meat on their main courses. You only get one kafta kebab when your order a plate. Also turkish food usually comes with Bulgar wheat not rice with chick peas. Overall very good but at this price point you need to give clients for meat. Thank you!
I ve tried many dishes there, but some were disappointing. The staff were friendly, especially Asel, who really enhanced the welcoming atmosphere. I ve just learned she won t be working there anymore, and now I don t see much reason to return.
I love this place , the service is amaizing
Mediocre food with terrible service. It doesn t even deserve a detailed review. Absolutely not recommended.
Look like 95% of your reviews are given by family members or paid people cause each review got soo many Pictures . Please go check other restaurants reviews people dont post that many pictures and not only that each one of your review got pictures. This is just my honest opinion. Good luck
Had kebabs here, could have been more tastier and more food portion
I Uber ordered. The food was way below expectations. All the reviews were raving about the Manti. It was really a very boring dish, just yogurt and dumplings. Nothing worth $28! I would not pay $10 for it. The rest of the food was also very average and overpriced for the value. Would not recommend.
Künefe was delicious I have never had like this before im Canada
I found the food to be overpriced and the taste wasnt great. The staff was unfriendly and only came to our table when we asked for the bill.
Great place for those looking for grilled meat and chicken. I went there with family, everyone loved the food because it was well prepared and delicious. (kofte.. chicken skewer.. filet mignon) The waitress (Khadija) was very smiling and She helped us choose good dishes and offered us free tea. The place is well maintained and organized. We highly recommend to those who wish to eat Turkish cuisine
Came here with family after seeing it on ak.wassim s instagram and it did not disappoint. Very good food and service!
A little loud at times especially when calling to place an order. However- we ve been going for years (since they opened) and have always received outstanding food and service. For my family this is our comfort food.
Good place to discover for the 1st time turkish cuisine
The lahmacun are really good. The manti are made on site in the window. The concept is nice
If you re familiar with Turkish cuisine and have a strong craving for it, it s best to avoid this place because they serve a modified version of Turkish food. I ordered an iskender which is my favorite and I barely recognized the dish when it was served. The meat was thick and firm, there s salad next to it which has no business being there, no grilled tomato and chili, and no trace of butter. Dare I say that it s the worst iskender I had so far. It s much more disappointing because the waiter told us that their chef is Turkish. Aside from that, this place is quite overpriced and you re definitely not getting your money s worth. Great location, ambiance, and okay servers but the food missed the mark big time. Take some time to see the reviews from Turkish people who have been here.
Great selection of authentic well made turkish food. 1 year later: prices are sky rocketing
Extremely overpriced for the mid food they provide.
Horrible place to eat. And they are not fair with their workers.
Very disappointed. Bad service. Badly polite waitresses serve you with antipathy. The food isnt that bad, its also too expensive. I dont recommend it. 2/10.
First visit. I am completely won over. I ate the Mati, a type of traditional beef ravioli with yogurt sauce. Bread made to order and Turkish tea. I add this address to my loop. Thank you Khadija 11/10 for the impeccable and friendly service.
I am disappointed with my experience The food wasnt really good The grilled food had no taste Plus the price was very expensive. Especially for the portions were very very small There was only bourgoul and salad and only a few pieces of meat For 4 people we pay $170 And honestly we only ate the side dishes Very little meat So to advise against There are many other better Turkish restaurants
VERY BAD MANTI!! NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!! Order 2 portions of this hoping they were good. Unfortunately you will be paying 60$ for flavourless chewing gum. No meat filling, just yogurt and oil.
Really enjoyed eating here last week, the waitress was super nice and made the experience 10 times better, I think her name was Rita. Food was very good and filling, you wont need to order twice. Would recommend 100%. Food : 5/5
I went to eat a manti unfortunately it was bad too bad
Superb Turkish cuisine
I just ate with a friend, only one piece of real advice: dont go there, its expensive for nothing, you see, its good but really disgusting.
The first time there were 7 of us and we didnt have a reservation but the hostess found us an available table. It s very pleasant to be welcomed and served with a smile. The dishes are delicious. We had a very nice evening. Friday passed everything was good except kunafa was not to my taste little cheese for example Many thanks to the staff Avesta.
Delicious turkish food !
The atmosphere is pretty ok, the place looks good and its in a very convenient location so cant complain about that. The service was good, considering it was late so they were most likely tired but it was quite nice and okay. Smiley, Joyful, good vibes all around. Now for the food though...Let me tell you this is not what I was expecting. The meat was dry and the Bulgur was honestly really bad. There was way too much Yougourt in the Manti and the meat dumpling was just such an odd food.
Reminded me of the food in turkey mediocre except unlike turkey, food wasn t cheap
We were surprised to come across a Turkish Restaurant in Montreal, which we visited from New York. All the food was delicious. They sent us off very satisfied with their friendly customer service. A place we would definitely recommend. We will come back if we pass by here again. Thank you for everything.
Good service from Asal The food was ok
Had chicken sandwich, chicken a bit dry. Also take ufra dry as well. More like spinach feta gozleme
Very cool. I was hoping for Turkish kibbeh
Im familiar with Turkish cuisine and this restaurant serves nice tasteful authentic Turkish food. You wouldnt go wrong with any items in there menu... All are tasteful full of flavor perfectly and generously served. Appetizer, salads, grills & pide all were great. Asal who served us is a nice, respectful and professional staff. Keep up the good quality and service
After two years, I came back to this Turkish restaurant. We ordered Iskender kebab, a meze platter, and garlic yogurt. First of all, they brought something else instead of garlic yogurt. Secondly, the quality of Iskender kebab has significantly decreased, and anyone making Iskender kebab at home for the first time would surely make it tastier than this. It really can t be called authentic Turkish anymore. The food was truly tasteless.
Cozy and welcoming vibe. Excellent, authentic food.
Best place in town highly recommended
A great discovery in St-Catherine. Small, pleasant artisanal restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The plates are generous, affordable and tasty. The service could be a little more cheerful, but the atmosphere of the place is enough to have a pleasant time. I recommend to anyone!
One of my best discoveries was incredible, our side dishes were handmade in front of us with the traditional way of making it and their food is something I have never tasted before really a very good experience.
Authentic delicious Turkish cuisine.
Good quality of meals. Authentic taste. Its worth the price.
Already here 3 times in the last 1 year and never disappointed with their menu and the quality of the dishes. It s a good place to keep and the prices are fair.
ordered a take out dinner, and it was absolutely amazing, never had turkish food like this it was so good, the lamb shank was cooked to perfection. can t wait to come and dine-in when im back in town! Food
Really nice food service, loved the kebabs and mezza
The rice was significantly undercooked, to the point where I would rate it a 2 out of 10 in terms of doneness. Additionally, the negöl köfte lacked flavor and was not as tasty as I had hoped. Overall, I would give this restaurant 2 out of 5 stars.
Very nice food and great service.
Excellent food. Incredible mezzes. Meal for 4, generous portion. Atmosphere, it feels like I m in Istanbul!
Casual dining restaurant with amazingly tasty food however staff can improve a bit on customer service.
Restaurant number 1 they provide the best kebab in MTL. Highly recommended
First time (but not last), we went with friends, great food and service.
The food is good. Friendly, slightly cheesy atmosphere. The live show was nice. The service is very amateurish. The cups have several layers of never-wiped limestone underfoot. The wine list is grocery store wines. Good for dinner I would say.
Exceeded expectations!
Food quality is average, Muhammara didn t taste fresh, also lamb kebab smells alot! Friday night it was live music which I enjoyed it! Vegetarian options: Sarma
Really really good
I am fascinated with turkish cuisine but nothing really impressed me here. It is pricey, and they served us dry Sarma and burnt künefe.
I went to this restaurant today to introduce Turkish pancakes to my cousin and her family. The pancakes were good, the konafe too. But we didnt like the service. The smile was absent from the waitress throughout the meal. Its like shes forced to be there. It really didnt deserve a tip and I regret leaving one. On the other hand, the woman who prepared the pancakes was smiling. She is the one who deserved the tip (for her work and for her smile
If youre looking for an authentic turkish experience, Avesta is the best in Montreal. They even started live music on certain days and theyre adding vegetarian menu options. The owner and staff are so kind and welcoming! We ordered Saj Kavurma and Adana kebab as well as gozleme ... 5 stars for sure!
I love great atmosphere and quality and very fresh food
The chicken is exquisite and I loved the kunnefe. If there are 4 or 5 of you, take the $95 combo.
Borek and their soup were good but tantuni, kebab and chicken were not good at all. The service was not good either.
I wanted a kebab and 1 shish kebab arrived. There was everything on the plate except the kebab. A plate full of rice and salad. A terrible experience.
Old food no tastes.no tastes.it takes an inspector to visit this place and put it back in order.its surprising that I was not mistaken after checking the reviews,I was very disappointed.it will be the last of my life, I regret inviting my guests there, it s completely shameful
First time in this restaurant that we noticed last weekend by pure chance. In the window, we saw a lady who was preparing pita or other type of bread and thats what piqued our curiosity. Brief ; we entered it. The atmosphere is peaceful and warm. Cleanliness, nothing to complain about, Pleasant service with a smile, But what about the dishes we ordered.....It was a real delight full of flavors that awakens your taste buds and takes you to another authentic culture. Honestly, I would have had another second time of each dish and especially their dessert. In my opinion, the AVESTA deserves to be Known......it is worth the detour and to enter. Congratulations to the staff and its chef because we will come back to enjoy more of your excellent dishes. Vegetarian options: Some dishes are on the menu. Kid-friendliness: High chair for children. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access.
Great place, authentic and very tasty food! I would recommend making a reservation in advance as the place was packed during our visit. Food
This Turkish restaurant exceeded my expectations! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere authentically decorated, and the food, especially the Tavuk Kebab, Iskender, and Sarma appetizer, was simply delicious. Highly recommended for a delightful culinary experience!
Great place. Would come here again!
They have delicious Turkish food in downtown. Specially their Lambs. Only negative impression is that sometimes their Revani is 3-4 days old and dry. I would recommend not to sell it when it is old. It damages your reputation Parking: You should consider parking when coming to Avesta. There are paid street parking but it is hard to find one
First time and it was wonderful. I had the spinach and feta grilled sandwich made in front of establishment with salad. Portions were huge and brought half of meal home. The Turkish tea provided for free was delicious. Loved the whole experience and employees are lovely. Noted that other clients were also asking for take out containers since portions are substantial. Cant wait to return. Thank you,
Today, we were disappointed with the food in the restaurant I have been going to, for many years with my family and friends. We were served a spoiled salat that was impossible to eat prices were raised and the quality of the food deteriorated.
Very nice place, warm, superb tablecloths, decorative objects reminiscent of Turkey. Courteous service. Mezzes: very good vine leaves with tasty yogurt, humus ok, ordinary mouhamara. Well marinated meat kebab, tasty and delicious bread, however, accompaniments (red cabbage salad with parsley, rice and vegetables) bland and without any aroma, disappointing for this type of cuisine which is usually so fragrant. The worst being the really bad rice. Lahmacun ok nothing more, again here, lack of taste. A place that is still unique in Montreal and would benefit from growing but which is worth the detour for its unique character. A lady makes mantis (stuffed pasta) by hand at the front of the restaurant. We will come back for the sandwiches which seem very popular.
Prices went up and quality of the food went down. Its a shame because it was our go to family restaurant.
Five minutes after finishing the kebab, the rich aroma of lamb still linger in my mouth
Delicious !
We got the Tavuk kebab with the rice and beyti kebab. The beyti kebab was very good. A solid 4.5/5. The tavuk kebab were decent too, but could have been better, 3.5/5. The thing that let us down was the service and the ambiance. Needs massive improvement on the front. The kunafa at the end was a 3/5 too. Not too bad not too good. One more thing that needs to be added is potatoes (fries) to the menu.
One of the better restaurants Ive seen in Canada. Traditional music and food like home. And very good atmosphere.
Very good
very good service, delicious food
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Unique taste of food. The staff were very friendly and suggested alternatives for food that was not fresh at that day. The atmosphere was the best thing about this place, the design is great and takes you Turkey. The fresh bread and bakery is definitely the main attraction. Food
Take a day to have your order
WOW Superb discovery Dishes full of flavor, really tasty Generous portions Downside, I think we reheated my börek in the microwave because the puff dough was very soft, totally soft.
the staff didnt let us in, they closed 1 hour before the scheduled time
Not sure why this place has good reviews. Food was bland and boring and somewhat over priced. Service was ok and ambience was kitch. Probably wont be back
Yummy
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The food is DELICIOUS. Extremely fresh and bursting with flavour. Highly recommend the lamb, eggplant mezze, and red pepper mezze! Service was excellent- our waitress was very kind and attentive and the food came VERY quickly! Great spot to have dinner before or after a movie as the forum is right down the street. Vegetarian options: Many delicious vegetarian dishes!
We just loved this restaurant - a little gem downtown near the forum. All the food was fresh, delicious and ever so flavourful. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly and very helpful with all recommendations. Highly recommend this spot.
Very tasty food and so filling that it may be difficult to eat it all in one sitting, so definitely worthwhile to take the rest to-go and enjoy later. Ask for Turkish coffee, the waitresses were really kind and helpful. Nice baklavas too.
Delicious,
Very friendly service. Tasty dishes. Good quality ingredients. I cant wait to go back. THANKS.
They cook very good food, I recommend them, customer satisfaction is very good.
I was in Montreal for a brief business trip. I searched for a Mediterranean cuisine and came across Avesta. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is wonderful. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. You can park on the curb and enjoy a nice walk to the restaurant. I highly recommending trying Avesta I d you are in Montreal.
Came here with a friend, we both enjoyed it
Definitely a great Turkish halal restaurant. You can see how the lady in front does the fresh bread and ant the fresh manti (turkish raviolis) wow I recommend this place. Thanks for the great stuff as well.
Beautiful authentic Mediterranean decoration. Food quality is amazing, has many options in their menu. Everyone that I brought to this restaurant, they were equally satisfied. Parking is difficult as its montreal downtown. But a great place worth a try.
It is a good turkish restaurant if you want to try but it is a bit expensive. The food was delicious.
I recently tried a Turkish restaurant, and I was truly impressed. The food was fantastic, with a wide range of traditional dishes that left me craving for more. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. Overall, its a must-visit place for anyone seeking an authentic Turkish culinary experience.
The atmosphere and food were amazing, especially the appetizers were amazing.
Very good food and super nice staff. We had a great time in this restaurant.
An experience not to be missed! The decoration, the traditional dishes, the music, everything is designed to take us on a journey. The dishes are diverse and for all tastes. I highly recommend!
Great service, great food they were extremely kind to us on dietary restriction everything is very fresh great experience
Service was amazing; our waitress was helpful and kind. I just didn t like the taste of the water, it might have been in the glass bottle for a while. Other than that the food fab. Best bulgur I ve ever had. Would come here again
The food was very poor, inauthentic, and completely overpriced. The service was inexperienced and unfriendly. Not worth your Buck, I feel that owner should take these bad reviews as lessons and to improve & if they remain stubbornly close minded well, collectively we ll make sure these kind of restaurants remain out of reach. Food is poor quality the bread is not even fresh & cold, the kafta poor quality even Amir or basha is beter quality. and the vybe ? well we were almost the only costumers Volume speaks for itself.
Very delicious food. Ordered Lamajun and Beyati Kebab. The lavash was so fresh and soft. The tomato sauce was also perfect. Definitely one of the best Turkish restaurants in Montreal. Will definitely visit again.
Calm atmosphere but delicious food. Lamb, beef or chicken kebab. Very good and well-dressed dishes.
Beautiful place with beautiful decor although the dish to share is not recommended. It comes with lots of rice and salad and not much meat. Also, I was expecting to taste several new spices and unfortunately that was not the case. I have already eaten better in Turkish restaurants.
Not very good service. Say you have beef and lamb skewers and serve you ground meat. Make us seem like people who dont understand anything just to avoid saying that they dont have skewers and charge you $29 for a dish with nothing.... frankly disappointed. The manager was still understanding but the serious one got angry as if he had been insulted.... in short, an amateur restaurant and not a professional one.
Quality of food is great! Does not disappoint each time I go back. Highly recommend the gozleme with spinach and cheese, and all the mezzes!
The food is delicious. And the very warm welcome. Prices follow the trend.
Very nice restaurant to get to try Turkish food The staff are very friendly and helpful. Amazing food and desserts must try Food : 5/5
The food was great and they were really nice and welcoming!
First time in a Turkish restaurant. The food is amazing and super delicious. The Lamb Shrank is sooo delicious and it has the flavor that I have never tried before. Have a try! And you will love it!
Went here with my family for my birthday recently but I go with my friends every once in a while as well. The food is so good and the service is great as well. Whenever I go we order a mezzes combo to share before the main meal and we all always enjoy it. Tried the kunefe for dessert as well for the first time and it was so delicious! It goes really well with the Turkish tea they serve. It can be a bit expensive, but I definitely recommend this place!
Definitely a hole in the wall thats more than worth your time. The decor was unique and there were little pieces to look at if you take the time to notice. Prices were reasonable; youll spend $20-25 for a main, but the dishes are so full that its really all you need. The presentation of each dish was well designed and the food was well seasoned and authentic. A great place to come with friends and chat while trying something new. We didnt feel rushed at all to hangout after we finished our plates. The only downside is the service is very hands off. Be prepared to advocate for yourself if you need something. Vegetarian options: They had many vegetarian options! You just have to read the descriptions to determine which you can eat. Menu is in French and English.
Very disappointed with the quality of the meat it is rotten the color of the meat is black Very disappointed, too expensive for what it is, its good nothing more The service is lousy, no one welcomes you and they talk to you badly. The chairs are not comfortable and the kitchen is really dirty and not hygienic. Its a restaurant in the city center with very high prices. Well, the minimum is to have new and clean furniture... I dont recommend it and never
The place is ok, not like its used to be, The prices got doubled for Guzlame and does not worth a 20$
I absolutely love Avesta s homey atmosphere. It somehow takes me to Turkey :) Their food is always fresh and super delicious. Lots of variety too. Their hummus mezze, bourek, lentil soup, etc or the gozleme, manti and other dishes are really good! I strongly recommend Avesta
The meals were pretty good. But the price performance was not good at all. It got pretty expensive. No appetizers came to the table. The some of employees are very kind ( not at all) but since it is defined as a Turkish Restaurant, at least one person should be able to welcome in Turkish. The gozleme were pretty good. so is manti. lahmacun was above average. The shank was very tasty. But there was no salad and appetizer bread on the table. I gave a good score because Im supporting hard workers effort. But they have many improving part.
I got combo for 4 persons and that was so bad, the meet wasn t yummy and so dry and the bulgur as well there is no point to waste $124 for this kind of food .
Very delicious everything was great
Quality, fresh materials , mezze , soo tasty and delicious, as a tukish food lover, I didnt expect that , Chef great job any time I ll visit montreal as a tourist again ,I will come Avesta .
one of the best restaurants in Montreal, all dishes and starters are fresh
Delicious food and great service. The fresh made pita is not to be missed!
Amazing food and service, Everything is fresh, with great portions. This is quality. A must try!!!! Food : 5/5 |
Very beautiful place to discover. Everything is perfect... the service, the meal... the bread and atmosphere with Turkish music. Very fast and for us it was important that it was Halal. I highly recommend.
Taste really bad lahmacun really small bad and expensive don t go to Avesta there is lot of other great restaurant Avesta is just waste of time and money
Excellent food and service. Quantities are smaller but quality is always there in the food.
Nice elegant Turkish restaurant with a lot of choices.
I love Turkish cuisine. However, The food served here wasnt really authentic
Restaurant well located, regarding the quality of the cuisine it is worth no more than 1 star bland food knowing Turkish cuisine it is shameful to serve dishes like this (no seasonings, salads served without sauce) despite the order of 3 different dishes the 3 were bland without taste. Avoid if you want to eat real Turkish cuisine. Last point paying more than 100 dollars for that is theft no plates finished
If you want to enjoy the tukish food in montreal you should to try this amazing restaurant
It was an amazing dinner with freinds in this lovely restaurent the food just incredible cant say more the meals was delicious ambiance also good a cozy place with beautiful design to chill with freinds the server its called khadija it was helpful and smiling all the time she suggest to us good choices and always dont mess the kunefe cuz it s the best way to finish your night
Not a real turkish food i dident like the food dont go there
If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. As a Turk, I was ashamed of the service they provided and the food they offered. The food was not tasty at all, especially the künefe was terrible. Except for the foreign girl there, everyone looked unhappy towards all customers. I warn you, this is definitely not Turkish hospitality. I advise you not to go to this restaurant.
This restaurant checks all the boxes. With beautiful decor, excellent service and delicious food, it is a must try in downtown Montreal. As you walk into this charming spot, the warm atmosphere surrounds you. With a large selection of mezzes and amazing traditional meals, you won t be disappointed by the quality, presentation and taste of the food. Make sure to look at the back page for images of the popular dishes! Our waitress was really helpful with all our questions, and was so friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try more things. Vegetarian options: Although it is quite a meat heavy cuisine, there are still vegetarian and vegan options. The combo of mezzes is a good option, as well as the gozlemes or the vegetarian sandwich!
Great place, lovely decor, and even better food. Good service. Highly recommend the Jarret DAgneau.
We wanted to eat lahmacun, but it tasted like flatbread. Salad with caesar sauce next to lahmacun . The lentil soup was so spicy that it was difficult to eat. The only good thing is the friendly waiter. Finally, the music is too loud. I was completely disappointed
Excellent quality... very satisfied...
Good and plentiful dishes. Good service
The food is good but very small portions and the price is high Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian Parking: Hard to find parking and we parked far a way then we walked
I ve been coming here since I was a student at Concordia about 10 years ago. I love coming here since the food is so homey and full of flavour. I always order the manti and the funefe dessert. This time we also got some mezzes that consisted of dolma, borek and muhamara. They were good but not the best I ve had. They just had a customer for life. I would keep coming back for more.
Excellent and truly exotic cuisine. Excellent and fast service.
It s really very good! The service by Khadidja is excellent
Turkish restaurant less than average
We were in a hurry and received super fast service. The food is excellent.
We took the combo for 4 at $95, well served, but ordinary food, the flavors were not there, it was not tasty. Nevertheless, the handmade bread was good. In conclusion, it wasnt bad, but it wasnt exceptional at all. We have already eaten better.
Came here in 2018 and in 2023 and its the same amazing quality. Highly recommend their fresh Manti it was full of flavor and a great portion. The ambiance and vibe is very nice for a dinner. Their Sarma and Koz Patlican is very delicious as apps and their Lahmacun also tastes amazing. Lots of flavors and options in their menu for a good price. I also recommend their Kunefe as well it is the best dessert! Overall its a great play to eat for a date, with friends, and with family with lots of options and flavor. Vegetarian options: I liked that their Sarma has a vegetarian option
Beautiful environment and well presented food. The bread is prepared on site in front of customers. The service was quick and friendly. The lentil soup is particularly delicious.
Very good food Trukish food, nice enough decore. Middle of the road restaurant. We tried several items and all were excellent. The highligh is certainly the trukish calzone style cheese or spinach, fresh on a hot iron dome, right at the front of the place. Service is friendly, but could be a bit more on point. Overall a great experience.
The best restaurant in montreal
Amazing Kabab
Warm welcome, the meat is exceptional. We will return there often.
The food was delicious, the Manti was so so good. A must try.
I love this place, it s become my birthday spot every year for the warm atmosphere and amazing food, itself honestly such a lovely spot to visit with friends.
10/10 recommend
Delicious food, nice ambiance and beautiful decorations Very cosy place Food
So so good, the kinda place where I wanted to try everything on the menu.
Very nice experience! The plate was well stocked, very good taste. The künefe is delicious. I recommend.
Delicious food and wonderful ambiance. The restaurant is clean and the menu has a nice variety. The live music nights are a blast too!
An hour ago we had two iskender delivered, each for C$29. The portions were disappointingly small though - barely half of what you get in the restaurant.
the food is always very good and the portions are generous: we had 4 mezzas and a full dish and it was more than enough. Vegetarian options: plenty of choices.
disgusting
