Restaurant raffiné proposant une cuisine turque classique, du pain maison et un brunch populaire le week-end.
We had a great breakfast with my wife. Their menemen was great and they make Gözleme and you can watch them make it while you are in their cozy place. It’s a must go place if you happen to be in Montreal! Merci🙏
I had an amazing Turkish breakfast at Mirzau Restaurant! The spread was fresh, flavorful, and authentic, with everything from cheese, kaymak to perfectly sojuk with eggs. Definitely recommend it for anyone craving a true Turkish breakfast experience!
The best Turkish breakfast in North America⭐️ We went there for brunch on Sunday. Make sure you make a reservation before you go because it was packed. Wonderful service, delicious, high quality food, real (brewed) Turkish tea🙏🏻 and beautiful atmosphere. I wish they served Turkish breakfast like this in New Jersey & New York too.
I visited this restaurant for breakfast, and it was quite disappointing. The menu stated $35 per plate with a minimum of two people, but we were charged $35 per person, which felt overpriced for what we received. The quality of the food was far below expectations—everything seemed like it had been cooked 2-3 days earlier and cold, and the fruits were not fresh-cut. For the price, I was expecting much better quality and freshness. Overall, I don’t feel the meal was worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for breakfast.
Very tranquil restaurant, the service is simple and matches the ambiance, we had the tasting menu wich was very tasteful and the dishes well explained i am satisfied with my visit but i was missing that wow factor but overall you will not be disappointed
Charismatic and thoughtful servers, quick service. We came for brunch and, coming with high expectations as the cuisine is similar to back home, the food did not disappoint! Impressive blend of flavours. I especially liked the Mirazu salad, the dressing is phenomenal, as well as the lentil soup - the lamb broth flavour was exceptional. Will definetly be returning, especially considering the prices.
The restaurant's signature dish is lamb stewed with hummus. The lamb is simmered for a long time with special Turkish spices , to make it so tasty without having a strong smell. It melts in your mouth, which is amazing!
We went here for brunch and it turned out to be one of the best meals we've had in Montreal. We had eggs Benedict plates and our eggs were perfectly poached and the flavors of the dishes were so delicious. We also had Turkish coffee made to perfection and a baklava with kaymak which was the best one I've ever had. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very pleasant and service was fast and friendly. Prices are also reasonable given that this is a higher end restaurant. I definitely recommend this place and will come back again!
Good but overpriced for the quantity. 25.99$+tax for a lamb sausage with rice and 8 potato chips.
Love the food there ! (Chicken a little too salty but still yummy) Good vibe and cosy Food
Delicious food and great quality meats! The homemade bread is so good!
We were quite disappointed with the quantity of meat in the plates we ordered, especially considering that the cost of a plate is around $40 with tax and tip included. You would think that for that money, you would get a decent amount, instead of the majority of the plate being rice and potatoes. We ordered the lamb kebab (came with one skinny kebab) and the lamb meatballs (4 golfball sized), and the rest was basically rice and potatoes. Perhaps it is because we ordered our meals to go that the meals were so disappointing? The taste was good, but for the money, I dont think we will be ordering from here again.
Excellent food
My husband and I just had a Turkish Brunch at the Mirazu restaurant! What an excellent discovery . It was a completely different experience than what we are used to! We were pleasantly surprised. It exceeded our expectations. The Brunch was delicious. Impeccable service. The employees were really friendly. We will definitely return, very soon, to try an evening meal!
The chicken hummus plate was fantastic! The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and paired beautifully with the creamy, flavorful hummus. It is a satisfying and well-balanced meal. Highly recommend it
It was too hot inside. We took the turkish breakfast for 2 sur la planche . Costed us $85 for little a bit of pastes and cheese. There was nothing wow about it. The only thing wow was the bill! Never again! Food : 1/5
I didn t actually get to dine here, but my experience with the service left much to be desired. My group and I arrived for brunch on a Saturday and were told there would be a 30-minute wait, so we decided to leave and come back shortly. Twenty minutes later, we called and asked if we could get a table, explaining we were just 5-10 minutes away. They told us to come in, so we hurried back, only to be told by the host that they couldn t seat us and even claimed they had no record of our phone conversation. Despite our disappointment, they offered no solutions or attempts to accommodate us, merely saying sorry. We had been excited to try the food, which looked great, but the lack of professionalism in handling our reservation left a lasting negative impression. We likely won t be returning.
Amazing service and amazing food! A little crammed but it s definitely busy because of how good it is!!
The best lentil soup in Montreal. Excellent value for money at lunchtime. Very generous plates.
Good Turkish cuisine.
Very good restaurant! The freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious, the service is excellent.
Honnêtement super service, super nourriture, super restaurant!
The servers were super nice and the food was great. She made some honest recommendations and they were spot on. The shakshuka is eggplant heavy. If that s your thing , go for it. Comes with fruit and coffee and bread making it feel like a real meal. Great food. Also liked the patio a lot. We also really liked the cirbu? (Yogurt and eggs). Good veggie options
For my first time I really liked it. I advise you
took over 3 hours to get food we finished in 15 minutes
Great service, delicious food, nice place, friendly staff...
35$ for a brunch that went to 40 with taxes, thats overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food.. I tried turkish breakfasts previously and have an idea about how it should be.. revise ur prices
good service good food the lamp was really soft i love it.
Lovely Turkish brunch experience. The food was very tasty and different from other brunch restaurants.
Nothing much to say. Taste wise 4.5/5, price wise 4/5. Not for all the time, we can say it s much for special occasions. I ve given 4 stars but just revised to 5 because meat is delicious.
Everything was delicious
Delicious food, great service.
Excellent service, excellent presentation, friendly staff.
Delicious food! Waitress was extremely friendly and set up of the restaurant was nice!
We reserved for brunch ahead of time, but before reserving, we called to ensure there was a choice of vegetarian dishes (without eggs though). We were assured they have choices. Upon seeing the menu, there was a choice of two items only and we were stuck ordering those. Not much of a choice! Regardless, the items we ordered were amazing. Service needs attention. There are no physical menus in English, only in French. We were 5 people and were served 4 bread pieces in our basket. Had to ask for more. We had 3 glasses of water for 5 people and had to ask for the missing glasses. No one came to follow up and we had to ask for a refill water bottle when our water was finished. And then our bills all had mistakes (separate bills and wrong items attributed to wrong person). One dish was charged in double.
Food was delicious. Service was excellent, the waiter guy spent a good deal of time explaining to us what the meals were! Lovely experience.
one of the best turkish restaurants in montreal
Its good, its worth it
Excellent. Lovely atmosphere and decor (not too noisy). The food was amazing- we had the cauliflower dish and some dips and bread and another dish with lamb. Server was attentive (and bilingual). Best meal I ve had in Montreal.
Food
Delicious turkish breakfast. You will NOT be disappointed. Recommended by a turkish person.
Great food and lovely staff!!! A must visit for anyone in Montreal. Both tasting menus are fantastic and I will be visiting again!!
The service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious and authentic. Excellent value. Highly recommend them.
Went for their brunch - very good food and accommodating staff
All is good except the rude waitress. After she saw the tip amount that I gave her, she started to preach to me about the value of tipping in Canada. She is the rudest person I have ever seen in my life
I recently visited Montreal for a weekend and discovered this place with delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. However, my visit ended on a sour note. As I was paying, I kindly expressed my gratitude to the lady at the counter by saying, Thank you for the food and the service, I really enjoyed it. To my surprise, she took a look at the receipt and responded rather rudely, Is this the amount of tip you are giving us and saying you liked it? You must show it with the tip. As a visitor with a limited budget, I was hurt and embarrassed by her comment. I have never seen a server scanning amount of the tip and judging a customer for it. It was a disappointing and distressing experience that overshadowed a great taste.
Really really not good, we couldnt cut the minced meat its like rubber, the bread is very very dry frozen, we took the mixed plate for 100 dollars so I was shocked at the contity and whats more the quality. When we asked the waitress she spoke to the chef that it seems that he prepares this dish 20 times and there is no one who asked instead of apologizing. Zero stars. Strongly not recommended
Very good food, very friendly server. A little pricey, but worth it!
First my experience, the shakchuka was the best and turkish coffee
Very nice discovery
We reserved for a large work group. The staff was very accommodating and offered great service. The food was delicious, especially the lentil soup entree with every plate. No need for salt, peper or spices, the food is perfectly seasoned. I loved that there were many vegetarian options and the prices were very reasonable. Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegetarian options
Mirazu is the best place to eat in Montreal the food is top notch i never had such flavourful food it was just amazing and service is excellent If you want a good place to eat i highly recommend mirazu Food
Simple but actually really good!
The service quality of Demir was perfect, thank you for everything
After giving it 5 stars over the years, I am sad I have to change my review. Unfortunately yesterday dinner didn t go as always expected, it seems they have changed the chef, all the appetizers didn t taste the same, the lentil soup was way too spicy (I am usually someone who loves spicy food), the bread was not fresh at all, they have probably heated it up and the mixed grills didn t worth the 100$ for the plate. Waiters were nice when they show up, but the service overall was slow although the place wasn t packed.
Good restaurant, the lamb meat was juicy and tender, Good lentil soup Three excellent starter choices Turkish coffee tea Only the bread was not the best Turkish bread for my taste The two servers very friendly I will undoubtedly return there every time I visit Montreal.
Excellent more upscale Turkish cuisine with a varied menu. The portions are generous. The staff is very friendly and warm. Highly recommended.
I tried dinner and brunch there, and had to say the brunch is absolutely delicious (not the same with the dinner). I tried Shakshuka for the first time and it was one of the best. They refilled the tea for us for four times ( ) and never complained when we asked for another round. Great service with very amazing staff. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that the dinners are not as good as the brunch
Do you think this amount of food is worth $160? If at least paying this price also meant having good service: at lunchtime, you had to ask the waiter (wave his hand ), otherwise he puts down the plates, goes off to chat with his colleague without ever coming back, even though the restaurant is almost empty. It is important to know that if you take the brunch menu at $35 (+tx+tip) per person, you are given a quantity and you must be satisfied with it. Only one bite of each thing per person. Very expensive for what it is, a quantity for 10 people of olives, but only 1 cheese puff per person... You have to speak English because the waiter does not speak French. On a more positive note and thankfully the food is fresh and tasty.
Its always a pleasure to go there, the dishes are delicious and the service excellent!
This spot never ceases to amaze me with the food and service. I ve had many big group reservations and the service was great and the food is the closest it could get of Turkish food in Canada. Mirazu is my place to go when I need my Turkish food fix
The brunch menu was impeccable. The taste of this dish was amazing. It had the proper mix of flavours of garlic, oil, eggs and yoghurt with other spices i presume. Fantastic with the sides of delicious soft fresh bread and delicately spiced potatoes. I will definitely return to try another meal. Vegetarian options: Mostly veggie options available
Nice Turkish breakfast
Thank you, well done to all the staff who served
The place and food is nice and all, but I feel like I got robbed paying 45$ to share eggs and cheese with 4 other people.
Very nice atmosphere with good Turkish music, impeccable service, during the meal we traveled to Turkey. The food was delicious, full of flavor and freshness. I highly recommend it for a culinary and cultural experience in the heart of Turkey. Vegetarian options: Exclusive vegetarian menu
We like mezzes, Turkish lunch and grills. The freshness and quality of the food is impeccable. Good value for money.
I saw the restaurant on mtlblog as recommendation. It was amazing, the food, the service. We were 2. We ordered 3 appetizers, 2 meals and 1 desserts. For 60$ per person that included tip. I highly recommended this restaurant if you are in the neighborhood!!! They dod have option of dégustation which is 85$ per person
Excellent Turkish cuisine: we had a discovery service with several small dishes, it was excellent. meats, salads, baklavas everything was perfect.
I didnt like it at all when he asked for a tip for our order after we ate. This is disrespectful and its not nice for him to ask questions as a tip. I stopped recommending you to most of my friends.
Everything was good, the service is impeccable
See a single bride in Montreal
Good restaurants Food is very good Food : 5/5 |
A really good brunch and excellent service from Charbel!
Very good service the food very fresh and delicious especially the meat and the kebab .I recommend it 100%
It was my first time here. We were a group of 6 and ordered sur la planche 1 for 6 ppl. It was way too much food. Everything was yummy and well-decorated. The Turkish tea was excellent. They brew tea and its not teabag. I will definitely come back.
Very nice place with a cozy atmosphere for those who would like to taste authentic Turkish cuisine. We loved it.
Very nice experience the food is incredibly good and the service is impeccable! It s a BYOB so it s worth it!!!!
Very good brunch
It was an amazing turkish breakfast
We had dinner with friends, it was peaceful, very good service, the waiter attentive, smiling, The food was very good, generous portions, thanks for the tea and sweets It was a pleasure, we had a great time, Ill come back another time THANKS!
First experience with Turkish cuisine, I loved it. I recommend this restaurant it was excellent
Ive had brunch twice and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Delicious food and Demir provided excellent service.
Great brunch, loved the Soudjouk Menemen.
Absolutely delicious, totally authentic Turkish food with excellent and warm service!!!
Went here for an intimate bday celebrations with my girlfriends. First time eating Turkish food. GREAT SERVICE! FOOD! FOOOOOD! and FOOOOD. Will come back for sure.
Excellent service & food. I tried the lamb eggs Benedict and it was delicious. David was our host and he was very welcoming and gave us great service & recommendations!
Was walking down St Laurent Blvd and happened to spot this place and give it a try as we love Mediterranean food. This place did not disappoint us. The food was good, but pricey. We had the Salade D Aubergines for the starter and it was really good. For the entree we shared a plate of Shish Tavuk (Mirazu style marinated chicken breast with french fried, rice, grilled vegetables and a salad on the side)
If you are coming to Montreal you HAVE to pass by this place, me and my fiancé loved here. We had amazing food and service, and the place is super clean. The coffe is muah!
Fine cuisine. Really good dishes. Reasonnable price.
Very nice place to taste Turkish dishes! We had brunch there and it was great! The food is elaborate and tasty! And the waiter David was impeccable and very friendly! We will return there for dinner
Ten on ten. Very good food and their soujouk is excellent
A little overpriced but the food quality was nice and the place was cozy.
A very good brown but I find the price a bit exaggerated for what it is.
Very rude manager who ruined our brunch experience here (the guy with the glasses). Very bad attitude, will never go back again!
Great place with handmade pancakes in front of you. The tastes are perfect and the spices really well balanced. The kids also loved it, whether with family, friends or lovers I recommend this place. The staff was super nice and gave us good advice. A real joy of a neighborhood restaurant! Go go go
Delicious authentic food. New waiter who arrived straight from Istanbul was a sweetheart.
Food is straight out of Turkey! Taste and service exceeded our expectations.
Great place to be highly recommended
We came from USA and pleased very well ,Everything was great , Food was delicious and yummy. And special thanks to our server Leonie She was amazing !
Great Turkish style breakfast, nice ambience and great staff. You will be more than full with their great selection of breakfast. We were extremely impressed with the taste of food. All over great experience!
I just left the restaurant with my friend and it isnt our first time enjoying a meal at Mirazu. As always it is delicious and our server David was wonderful, so friendly and professional it was a pleasure being served my him l. There was also another server there in a beige shirt whom i unfortunately didnt get his name but he was also just as lovely as David! David shared with us how passionate the owner of Mirazu is with his food and how dedicated he is as well.and it truly shows! Their brunch is worth trying and we will be going soon to try their dinner menu! Try their benedicts with the yogurt sauce, perfection!
Our server, David, provided excellent and friendly service. The food was excellent! Would highly recommend!
Delicious food, great service, good interior but too expensive
Very good dishes, very good service, friendly, smiling and professional staff I highly recommend, they have very good brunches!!
Super good, very varied and excellent service
solid brunch! I got the lamb eggs benny, there was a generous amount of lamb which left me stuffed I just wish there was more hollandaise on them. my partner got the shakshuka which was also really good she just wished the eggs were runny overall would recommend
We had been with family the dishes were delicious we had the dish of 5 meats for 2 however two platters were satisfactory for our six with a large portion mezze warm place
I am always on the lookout for good vegan options, and this restaurant offers a few excellent choices. The place is popular, but it attracts a very pleasant crowd. The service is outstanding.
The restaurant is so much expensive but the food has an acceptable quality!
Really good representation of Türk food. Best taste of my country in Montréal. Food
Great group experience. We ordered lots of dishes, all different and very spicy tastes. All were good. The waitress was very nice. The restaurant was very full as we left.
Wow we were very impressed. So tasty
Not halal, its a bar, remove tag immediately.
Delicious plates and great ambiance. The lamb and smoked eggplant dish was succulent! (I don t remember the name unfortunately)
Excellent food, but still not cheap for brunch! The baba ganoush had a strange aftertaste, otherwise nothing to say about the rest!
Very good, a brunch reminiscent of the freshness of the Mediterranean, the friendly waiter, fast service too, the prices are still high for me.
The flavours were insanely good and the portions were massively filling
The service was impeccable. Our server David gave us exceptional recommendations. The food was delicious. We will return there, for sure!
We wanted to eat on the terrace yesterday. We had the impression that we should have chosen the interior, since the customers arrived after us, eating inside, we were immediately seated, order and dishes on the table first. After 20 minutes we were able to get glasses of water and order. After 15/20 minutes no return, nor the glass of wine ordered or the starters... the order had been forgotten to be given to the kitchen... Disappointed.
Excellent food and great service!
Incredible brunch experience, with a terrasse open during sunny days. The food is an authentic modern take on Turkish cuisine with perfect execution on the homemade dishes.
I highly recommend this place. I have only been for brunch, which was delicious, but I cannot wait to go for dinner as well. All that we ate was beautiful, tasty and fresh. I have never been to Türkiye but the food made me travel. If you are a group a 2 people I recommend the boards to share.
Had dinner here with my wife and mother-in-law. It was extremely good. Some of the best eggplant Ive had in a long time - the perfect amount of smokiness. Nice balance to everything - smokiness of the eggplant tanginess of the yogurt and spice of all kinds. Delicious meat. The waiters were courteous and friendly without being fake or intrusive. This is the place for a Turkish meal in Montreal.
I tried Mirazu for brunch and dinner and it has been an amazing experience every time! Everything was excellent! I have never been disappointed by any dish. I especially liked their baba ghanouj, chakchouka (brunch) and all their lamb based meals (dinner). The service is efficient and very friendly! I will definitively come again.
Excellent ,
Best Turkish breakfast ever. Even better than most Turkish cities. Dont pass without trying!
The restaurant is nice for friends gatherings. It was my first time trying Turkish food and i fell in love with this type of cuisine. The waitress was so friendly and tried to explain all the dishes. The portions are decent for sharing. We went as a group of 6 and we ordered for sharing and all dishes were accompanied with their delicious fresh bread. The bread is delicious and with all the dipping of the dishes, it is wow. Highly recommended. Will go back another time.
First time visiting a Turkish restaurant, and it definitely wont be the last one. The food was delicious. The waiter took the time to explain the menu, and the recommendations were worth it - thanks, David.
Superb neighborhood restaurant. Attentive and friendly staff. Typical Anatolian food. Reasonable price. Trendy neighborhood (Mile ends). We want more like that.
Excellent restaurant! Pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a moment with friends or family.
It was a great experience, pleasant vibe, attentive and well-trained table service and tasty food that makes you want to come back.
delicious ! excellent service and yes! really enough food for two with the snack tray at $35 each THANKS !!
Very good service, David gives very good service and is very professional! Very good cocktail too!
Service was excellent Food was great, fresh, flavour full We really had a good time I recommend this place for Turkish food Food : 5/5 |
It is my second time in this restaurant, on my first visit they offered a delicious Turkish flatbread that apparently they no longer produce. However, the replacement bread is also delicious. Positive: -The service is impeccable, the waiters are very friendly and explain the menu well. - The food is unique, well prepared and the presentation is appetizing. - The portion of fruits that accompany the dish is generous, fresh fruit. - the mashed potatoes are incredible. -Coffee and tea at will. - Recommended dish for bruch; chackchuca and menenen - reasonable prices. To Improve; - The decoration changed a little, it seems less attractive to me than before. - They do not offer vegetable milks for coffee. - there is no gluten-free bread, so gluten-free options are limited to mashed potatoes. I will definitely return!
Amazing brunch
Its an excellent place for breakfast for Halal Turkey Restaurant.
For lovers of Syrian/Turkish food! Quite affordable price. I love their fried cauliflower, muhammara and baba ganoush!
Yesterday me (Marc-André) and my partner (Josée) went to eat!! We had 3 mezzes + grilled meats for two!! Wow!! The wonderful flavors, flavors that we rarely taste!! Honestly try it!! And the portions are more than generous!! Its not a fast food restaurant so the price definitely comes with it but I highly recommend it!! Oh yes, the service is exceptional in a very pleasant atmosphere!!
Very good food, generous dish, the servant was very nice but the service a little slow and nothing to snack on while waiting, family atmosphere, clean and classy to recommend You can bring your own wine Vegetarian options: Vegetarian menu Parking: Free parking at the entrance
Walked in for a table for 6, waiter stated we needed a reservation. He said the restaurant was full . We saw a lot of empty tables (see pics) - for the owner, I understand reservations take a priority but if patrons are willing to wait please give them that option. We were not even given the opportunity to wait. Just a goodbye. So our group said the same, except ours will be forever. FYI we went up the street to Rumi s, great experience, of note: it was just as full .
Turkish cuisine to discover on Boulevard Saint Laurent. The menu is essentially meat-based. We ordered the following plates with the aim of being impressed: Lamb hummus: Very tender braised lamb with hummus. 3/5: the plate unfortunately lacks vegetables to balance the taste of the meat and hummus. It s a bit too much to eat just these two ingredients for a main dish. Hunkar begendi: 3/5 same thing, smoked eggplant puree and braised lamb. Same comment which leaves us a little disappointed with the lack of balance. Adana kebab: 4/5 a single skewer with potatoes, rice, a tomato and an extremely spicy pepper. Overall it is a shame that the base is excellent but the balance of the plates is the weak point of the dishes offered. For plates costing around thirty dollars, we remain a little disappointed. We also tried some tapas/starters like the muhammara: Very good. The setting is simple and pretty and the service is impeccable. The wine list remains mediocre. Will I come back? Yes if the chef adds variety to the main dishes.
Excellent cuisine, friendly service. The prices are high but the quality is there.
We have been coming here since their first opening day and it has become our family s favorite place for brunch. We have seen the menu slightly evolve and the staff rotate but the food has always been good. It s big hearty portions that are very tasty. We ve tried almost everything on their menus and our favorites are the platter for 2, the pafiks (which they no longer make) and the Benedicts for brunch. The home made bread they used to make in their first year is no longer served. Additionally, One of the appeals of this place was watching the dynamic lady making bread but sadly she and her wonderful bread are both gone, so they don t serve the pafik anymore. If you try their dinner, the lamb dishes and the hummus are wonderful. Parking: Metered parking in saint Laurent street Kid-friendliness: No kid menu but If your kid is opened to Turkish food, this is a great place for large groups and families.
I remember coming to this restaurant, it s a delight. The service is incredible. I sincerely recommend.
One of the best Turkish restaurants I have eaten at. The chef is talented, the service impeccable, the atmosphere takes you to Istanbul.
I was super excited to introduce the Turkish food to my family, I booked a brunch table for 4 and drove all the way to Montreal! The food was awesome but the service and the attitude of the gentleman who served us, was horrible! I understand he was alone serving outside tables and he was running all the time, considering most tables were empty! I asked for sugar for my tea, and after 15 mins where our teas were cold, I asked him again while he was cleaning other tables and said: Sir can I have some of the sugars from the other tables, you dont need to bring them back in! He said with an aggressive look: Im running all day! You SHOULD not tell me how to do my job! Its painful and you attack me this way!!!!!! Then he started to weep! My wife, my sons and myself were all shocked of this! The we said maybe hes having a bad day! He brought the sugar in a very passive-aggressive! The table very next to us said they had a bad experience with him but thats what it is. When we were out of bread (not to mention that the portion for four was equal the portion for two!) we asked for some bread! It took another 15 mins and we were not sure (afraid/shocked) if we can ask again. He came to our table after 15-20 mins (we were not eating and just waiting because we didnt want to ask again and make him to feel attacked!) and said do you want bread? We said yes thats what we asked previously! I asked his name if I can talk to him in person maybe I could calm him down but he ignored me! When paying the bill I said I just wanted sugar for my hot tea and bread for my food, I guess bringing orders that dont require to be prepared are prior to cleaning other tables! Im sorry if you felt attacked! He said the same words that I should not tell him how to do his job, again passive-aggressive while weeping/sobbing! Then I asked a lady who was serving the interior tables to help me to talk to the owner, she was super nice and politely gave me the phone number of the owner. I texted the owner and briefly explained the situation. He saw my text (RCS text) but didnt respond. Overall, the food was amazing, the portion of the a-la-carte for four was the same for two (we were told the portions will be based on the count of persons), and the service: horrible! The gentleman who served us might be a very good person but he definitely was not for a client facing and hospitality industry. Will I recommend the place: no!
Amazing experience, nothing to complain about, I recommend
Excellent place to have a turkish-themed brunch! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too ;)
Mirazu has been my go-to Turkish restaurant in Montreal for many years. I have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or service. Whether for traditional Turkish breakfast or for Adana kebab, Mirazu always delivers.
Service clientele: zero
Ive been to many restaurants in Montreal. Mirazu ranks first among the ones Ive been to so far. The politeness and friendliness of the waiters, the cleanliness, decor and energy of the restaurant are very nice. We went for breakfast on the weekend. Even though it was very crowded, everything was perfect. We will go there for dinner one day. The manager of the business, Mr. Demir, does his job very professionally. I also congratulate him and recommend everyone to go here..
Amazing brunch and great service. Get the big mixed platter for two.
I love the typical Turkish brunch at this restaurant! I feel like I m in Türkiye every time I pass through.
Love it. I tried the hunkar begendi. Juicy and delicious meats. that was amazing
This is a gem of a restaurant in Mile End! Between the food, service and atmosphere we had absolutely no complaints. Not to mention, they were so gracious to take us in an hour before close. It was our first experience with Turkish cuisine and our waiter, David, walked us through delicious choices and was so kind. We ll definitely come back!
WOW!!!! I wanted to go to another restaurant a few doors away but didnt like the atmosphere. So we came across MIrazu which offers Anatolian cuisine. Not knowing this type of cuisine at first, I walked in to ask to see the menu. We liked the atmosphere, seeing several small dishes on the tables in front of the guests, the sober and warm decor. We took a seat at one of the tables this Saturday early in the afternoon. Board number 1 pleased me with a nice selection of dishes for two people. We accompanied it with a Turkish coffee and a çay which is a Turkish tea. When the young ladies placed the 12 dishes and the basket of bread on the table, my father looked at them and said, is all this just for the two of us? What a delight, here is the composition of our brunch: Menemen, eggs and sudoku sausage, very melting goat cheese, honey-kaymak which resembles a very firm yogurt, black olives, strawberry jam, tomatoes and cucumbers, beef which melt in your mouth muhammara, baba ghanouj, sigara boregi and a fruit plate. Among these dishes listed but which I did not know, one looked like an omelette with tomatoes, another was made of potatoes with tomato paste and another was a roll of thin, crunchy dough stuffed with cheese. For a delicious culinary change of scenery and if you want to take your taste buds on a journey, a good address in Montreal to try.
Perfect evening Service was superb and food awesome. We took the meat platter, and it was fantastic. Food
Delicious evening!!! The food is simply exquisite and so tasty! The service was second to none. Indeed, our friendly waiter David was able to guide us perfectly with his knowledge of the menu and his great honesty. Very warm atmosphere. We were all won over. We will definitely come back soon.
I went for brunch there on a Saturday lunchtime, it was more than perfect. The food is excellent, its very plentiful and the people who serve are extremely friendly. Cant wait to go back to Montreal to eat there.
Oh my gosh! This is some of the finest food I ve ever eaten. Hummus and roasted vegetables and lentil soup. Amazing. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.
Undeniably delicious food. Made with care and incredible flavor. The board slaps. Lovely service, probably a nicer vibe or ambiance during dinner, but overall excellent.
Really a great place to have brunch. Boards for 2 or more people are a must to discover Anatolian cuisine! Be careful, its plentiful but so good! The staff is very welcoming and kind. Really a great experience. We will return.
Delicious food!
My first experience eating in a Turkish restaurant and it was amazing. The food tasted great with a nice amount of variety. The staff was friendly even if the service was slow at some time, especially during the rush hours. The ambiance was warm, cozy and its well decorated.
Beautiful restaurant, the chicken was juicy and tender, its what I preferred about my hummus-chicken meal, the hummus itself I didnt like and there were 2 vegetables on the plate so I found that it lacked a few elements to form a complete plate. This is not a dish I would have again. The lentil soup is very good, lemony and hearty. The server was friendly and attentive. He gave us the necessary space so as not to disturb us during our meal. Some servers come to see you at 5 minutes and personally, I find it intrusive. So it was good service that we got at this restaurant. For the price, the soup was $9 for a small bowl, the plates vary between around $28 and $40 and there is a choice of desserts and alcohol. I will probably return there to celebrate a special occasion because the restaurant is very beautiful and pleasant but it is not a restaurant that I will allow myself to go to every month due to the price of the bill.
Amazing brunch, service was impeccable and the food was super super tasty. Well be back to test dinner menu very soon!
Had dinner there with a large group of about 20 people (including lots of small children). We were happy to not be forced into a fixed group menu or to be given a time limit like so many other restaurants we were considering. Service was wonderful and patient, cocktails were well prepared and food was both delicious and incredibly well presented. Timing of main dishes arriving at the table could have been slightly better, as those who received their dish first and opted to wait for everyone else to receive their dish before eating, wound up having their food cold. With such a large group on a busy Friday, this is of course somewhat understandable. So I mention it here only as an opportunity for improvement when preparing to receive such a large crowd.
