Nice staff, very welcoming and good vegetarian food

I went there for dinner with a take out order. Customer service was okay. Often when its my first time in a new restaurant, I ask the waiter what advice I can give for a first time. Often I am never disappointed. I chose the beef style veggie poquer bowl which was suggested by the cashier. I also had a slice of fauxmage cake. I must admit that I was very impressed by all these beautiful flavors For a vegetarian meal, it was really impressive and the taste was impressive. The fake cheesecake was amazing, and the taste was even better than real cheesecake. My only negative point is the price. A bit expensive.

Best service in town with Maaz. He is a good listener, very patient, accommodating and solutions-oriented. I thought I would not find anything that suits my rare food allergy but I got an excellent sandwich. Maaz is very considerate and has a good product knowledge. Thank you for going the extra mile. Dietary restrictions: Garlic is ALMOST everywhere. It s all about having a good waiter who is intersted in the food, clients and business he serves.

The boy who worked the evening of Friday July 12 around 7 p.m. Super stupid, doesnt even say hello to customers, no smile, no thank you, he was stupid with a lady after me too. I work in customer service and this just doesnt happen. Disappointing, I wont come back here.

I m not even vegan and I m here almost every day! Food tastes great, doesn t try to imitate non-vegan food (e.g. tofu trying to taste like meat is not here) and the staff is friendly and diligent.

General bowl was over sauced and flavourless

An excellent vegan spot! Came here with my friend several times while visiting Montréal. The fast-casual atmosphere was nice, and we really liked how quickly everything was ready. We would walk here between our packed schedule of events at Bell Centre and even have time to sit down since the food was ready so fast! The variety on the menu is excellent, and they even have desserts! Out of the 6 times I was in, I only got a repeat item once, and it was because I just liked it so much I wanted it again! (The smoked tempeh sandwich) Everything was delicious, and I so wish they had a location near home because I would certainly go there often. Definitely recommend this place to any vegans/vegetarians in or visiting Montréal! Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan!

Arriving at 1 p.m., a table of six and a table of 3 in front of us, we were told to wait twenty minutes, we accepted... At 1:50 p.m., we were told another ten minutes to wait!?! Scandalous, especially since other orders made after ours are served before.

Expensive and bland and uninspired. Why oh why... Not coming back

I ate the spicy wings and the Asian fusion bowl. Was basically good. I was missing a creamy, good sauce in the bowl. I found the spicy sauce on the wings to be very bad and cheap. The wings themselves were very tasty. Vegetarian options: Its all vegetarian

We arrived around 1 p.m. at the restaurant. We ordered, despite the few people present, we had to wait 45 minutes to be told that the order would not come out for another 15 minutes. 60 minutes for two simple plates is just unacceptable. The chef refunded us our meals in cash and we unfortunately left to eat elsewhere. Unheard of in a food chain of this reputation... Too bad.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They handle the rush scene with grace- maintaining a calm environment for the patrons (a skill that is often not recognized but always appreciated) They remember repeat customers and are always trying to make it a good experience.

This place does not accept the student discount nor coupons (which other copper branches do). I don t understand why this particular copper branch is so strict. In addition, the person serving me was rude. Apparently, [they] don t do that kind of business (i.e., discounts & coupons) . Stop making excuses and do better.

This cost me 16$ from Uber Eats. Soggy bagel smaller than the palm of my already small hand + the base is so thin it can barely hold the contents. The photo on their menu shows a thick, opaque, luxurious layer of cream cheese. I barely got a lick, as you can see from the photos. And i added an extra hashbrown, completely left out. I ate the whole thing in 3 bites, it tasted super plain - and had to reorder my lunch from another place because i was still hungry. This place, this bagel, is a joke.

Good service and good food!

I placed an order with Uber Eat. The deliveryman did not deliver the correct order to me. I know this is not the responsibility of the restaurant. However, I call the restaurant to find out what to do and if they have the phone number of the delivery person. 2 employees take turns on the phone and both speak only English! They ask me to speak in English because they dont understand French! Honestly... I hung up, angry, and figured out how to get a refund for my order via Uber Eat that never arrived. I ate the other order, the wrong one, fortunately vegan, but phew I would never have paid for that! A partly soggy ultra thin bagel, barely any cream cheese, super cold tempeh that I had to reheat and a poorly sealed smoothie container that had overflowed a bit.... The food was stored in small bags very thin paper which does not keep food hot. Very bad experience all round! I will never order there again...

A good stop for a quick vegetarian meal.

Food is good and service is friendly, but be prepared to wait. Sizable plant based menu is great, but with only two people working and a huge menu to work from, the wait is always on the long side. Vegetarian options: All plant based menu!

Surprisingly Good Food

Unfortunately there was no soup ready at dinner time. The chili was good but lukewarm. The service was OK but nothing more...personally Im going to try another restaurant the next time Im in town.

Was here for breakfast. The restaurant had just opened. The bagel with everything was super tasty, had a deep flavor (so not just fried stuff) and was totally priced, the coffee was good. We recommend. My selection wasnt the healthiest - but it was delicious Unfortunately, paper cups are used even when you eat in the restaurant. Since this is pretty much standard here as well as in the USA, I didnt deduct a star for it.

Stopped by for lunch today with my family, first time visiting this location. Unfortunately the highly advertised ruben was sold out, and we were only informed of this after we ordered, paid, and had been waiting a few minutes. Ended up ordering the tempeh sandwich which was delicious! My daughter loved the kids meal of nuggets, fries, veggies, and a hashbrown.

One of my favourite places for great vegan food in a comfortable, somewhat fast food environment. The choices are always abundant and the dishes made fresh. I wish we would get some of these in BC. Vegetarian options: All vegan!

Ive now been twice to Copper Branch and both times I enjoyed my meal, I would say that the main issue is that one salad is not always very filling, so chose wisely. Recently I had the Super Food salad, it was very good and almost enough, I needed a snack a little later, possibly they need to slightly increase the portions. However the prices are good, so next time I will buy a side dish. I will have to try out more items, but I like the menu, so a few items still to try. Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian

Though it was excellent, the ceasar salad is very small for a meal type of dish. With an extra portion of rice, it was perfect !

A chain and healthy fast food restaurant that has gluten-free options (bagel with tempeh and also cake), and oven fries that can be mushy but wont make you feel heavy. Prices are reasonable and staff helpful so its a good lunch go-to when in a hurry.

This is the best Copper Branch. Their sauces are delicious. The franchises are not consistent and do not all taste the same, per my experience.

I can t believe I paid $20 ($13 before delivery/tax/tip) for this shiitake burger that looks nothing like the photo and more like a mcdonalds cheeseburger.

Poor service today. The employee doesnt care about customer service. Does not answer the questions asked. If this gentleman does not want to work while being pleasant, he would be better off resigning and making way for more involved and conscientious employees.

Had a bad experience with the food here. Got upset stomach after trying the salad here. The salad had a bad smell too.

Cant believe I did not visit Copper Branch before!! Took the asian fusion bowl and it was the best plant based meal I had in years!! Staff were friendly, gorgeous interior. Super affordable meals. Can not wait to go back!!

I enjoyed a delicious vegan burger called The Classic Burger , it has the crunch of chips smothered in a delicious sauce! I had a hard time deciding which food to pick between the wraps, burgers, bowls that all looked great in the pictures. The service was quick, attentive and very professional. I loved the place and highly recommend it!!

The only place downtown that serves vegan food thats not just salad fries or falafel.

Really not very resourceful and the policies of this franchise in particular are ridiculous. I called to add an item to my Uber order, but apparently thats not possible. Having myself worked in a copper branch as a manager, I know very well that this is doable. What laziness and bad training on their part. I will always order from the Mount Royal MTN branch, they are very accommodating and pleasant to compare. Very disapointed.

Delicious power bowls with a lovely variety of fresh flavors, and super filling. I love that they have a kids menu and high chairs. I love all the little details in the bowls like sprouted beans and the turmeric sauce was nice. We will be back. One downside is the vibe is very cheap fast food-y and doesn t match what they re trying to go for with the quality of food in my opinion. Could have more inviting seating/lighting, get the pile of furniture out of the corner, and play something besides mainstream pop. Looking forward to the patio being open. Hope they reopen next to McGill metro!

Something for everyone here. Large accommodating space for group of 7...3 kids. Food was fresh and good. Service was prompt but it was not a busy time. Visited twice...lunch time is very busy so the wait was about 25 minutes. Vegetarian options: Vegan

The tables were dirty when I came in, but the strong AC made up for it on probably the most humid day of the year. I had the Teriyaki Mushroom Burger which was good, but a little dry and lacking flavour in my opinion. However the homemade-style sweet potato fries and accompanying garlic sauce were a hit! Ill probably give this place another chance, as the menu is quite big and with an impressive variety.

Hands down the worst of the chain (visited twice). Ordered a shiitake teriyaki burger and instead it had only a few soy chunks and no teriyaki sauce. When I confronted them they said the chunks were a mix of mushroom and soy (absolutely not the case and I ve had it properly made in Toronto). Also my partner ordered chilli cheese fries abd there was barely any topping on it. Incredibly gross food and paid around $50 for the two of us. This is how they treat customers. Also every table was filthy and it took 5 mins to get napkins.

SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS I ve never been a copper branch fan but after trying their TBLT sandwich today, I will surely go back! The person who took my order was very nice and accommodating with my allergy. Highly recommend

It was just okay. I got the TBLT and was let down. The bagel was small, and there was not nearly enough sauce, making it a dry breakfast. Where there was sauce it was a pleasant taste. I also got a protein smoothie, which tasted nice. My boyfriend got the same as me and was not satisfied.

I ve eaten at Copper Branch restaurants across Canada. I ve always received great customer service from warm friendly staff, except at this location. I just arrived in Montreal yesterday for a six month stay. Luckily there are quite a few other vegan restaurants in Montreal for me to eat at.

Ive been to a few of the Copper Branch restaurants but this location is my absolute favorite! The food is amazing and super fresh, and the staff is always great. Highly recommend for yummy, healthy, vegan food! *just had to add this photo of their terrace because it s my favourite place to eat lunch outside in the city!

The food was really good and filling! I had an Avocado toast, black bean burger, and Aztec bowl. Loved everything! But the person taking orders was not courteous at all. She was rude when I asked a question after placing an order. We were traveling to Montreal and its such a beautiful place, and being hosts to travelers from around the world, I think being polite to tourists/ customers will go a long way. Hence my 2 stars

After a few days traveling in the junk food dystopian wasteland that is the USA, I needed to eat something healthy at last, and this place is across the street from the office. Its my first time trying Copper branch. The place looked nice and clean. The menu looked good, it was hard to decide what to eat but I decided on the keto bowl, as it had a bunch of things I like, such as tempeh and avocado and mung beans and broccoli. My order took a good 5 minutes to prepare, which is fine. I took it to go so that I could eat at work. The portion size looked a little small, but I figured theres a lot of rich, dense foods in there - again, avocado and tempeh - so I should be okay. Smelled and looked good enough, but taste wise... meh . The dressing was quite bland, it could have used a bit more acid, lemon juice or vinegar because it lacked pop. The tempeh was also disappointing, I expected more smokiness, salt, and overall flavor. The veggies were fine, but altogether it wasnt very harmonious. The dressing couldnt tie it all together. Im not a frustrated meat eater wholl put down anything vegan or anything like that, its just that for the steep price I paid for this (18 bucks with tax and tip) I was expecting something way better, and its doubtful Ill try it again.

The burgers are ok, nothing more. The chili beans were undercooked. But frankly its difficult to have service in French and the employee didnt know the composition of the dishes! Service not too strong.

The food was really good! No problem with the menu at all. Wish I was able to try out more of it while I visited. However, Im sad I have to knock off a few stars just for poor customer service. The server that took my order was very rude and quick with all his responses as if I was taking up too much time. Even when I asked him for suggestions on certain items on the menu he was no help. At first I thought he was was just being rude to me but as I dined in and heard how he treated other guests it was more so his issue. I definitely do recommend eating at this restaurant but not at this location.

Terribly long service, moderately friendly staff, and expensive food for what you get on the plate. Wants to be trendy eco-organic but tasteless, just expensive. In the neighborhood it is better to go to the Green Panther or Lola Rosa.

The staff is not sympathetic in that franchise. There is a photo comparing a tempeh sandwich made at that franchise (left) and the same sandwich made at the franchise on Bishop (right). I think you can guess the taste of each by the pictures.

Best vegan restaurant! I love this location and go there all the time. Always meets my expectations for great food, friendly staff and good vibes. If youre looking for a great vegan restaurant, you have to check out Copper Branch. And I can definitely vouch for this location! Never disappoints!

Best uber supporting

The fries are really to be avoided, they are soft, give the impression of not having been cooked long enough, I wanted fries (crispy) I had the equivalent of oily, soft, baked potatoes ( I left half of it and yet I was far from being full). The portobello burger on the other hand was good in terms of taste even if very small (and the fries being really disappointing it wasnt what filled me up either). In total with a kombucha it cost me a little less than $20 and Im still so hungry at the moment (that explains why Im grumpy)... Ill go back (maybe, its not even sure) for the salads... So burger shopping results not bad, fries to avoid and salty addition...

I love this Copper Branch. Ive been a few times now. First of all, the restaurant is located in a spacious and gorgeous building. The warm and chic decor is very inviting so the atmosphere does not feel fast food one bit. Its a great place to sit down with friends or even alone and enjoy a quick healthy meal. The staff are so friendly and well informed about the food. I love the smoothies! They are a treat plus filling enough to constitute a meal if you are in a rush and need something on the go. Also, you can tell the dishes are made with fresh ingredients. I ordered the shiitake wrap which was lovely and prepared with care. The sprouts are a nice touch. They have this aioli sauce that comes with the sweet potato side and I cant believe its vegan...thats how tasty it was. Im really excited to go back and try the rest of the menu.
