A very warm reception with a detailed explanation of the menu for a first time visitors, I'm the one of them. The help you chose variety of delicious options in menu, this is Vegan restaurant which is good for both vegetarians and Vegans. Menu has filling options with plate full of quantity with a home made quality food. Worth a try #Curry #Chilly #LoadedNachos #Soup
I had a great experience here! Right when you walk in, you’re met with such a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. Each table has little drawers in them that have notes written from past customers which adds such a wholesome touch - it was so lovely to read them! On top of that, our waitress was fantastic! While plant based food sometimes has the reputation of not being the most palatable, the food here completely proves that sentiment wrong. My friend and I had the curry, cheesesteak, soup of the day, and the lemon and chocolate caramel tarts and all were absolutely delicious. We left completely stuffed. Highly recommend coming here!
The food here was good and decent amount of options. The atmosphere was quite nice with tables with drawer full of handwritten notes. Great place to sit down with friends and get plant based food.
Cozy vegan place on McGill campus. The white lychee sangria was quite unique. The Gyro sandwich was quite good and tasted similar to the regular dish. The Philly cheese steak did not taste anything like the regular dish and didn’t really work with feitan. The tofu dishes are good but ran out when we arrived. The dessert ice cream was also good. The restaurant seemed slightly understaffed as just one server handled the whole place.
Lola Rosa in Montreal is a fantastic spot for vegan dining! The staff are incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain each dish and make recommendations. The Gyro sandwich is an absolute must-try—flavorful and satisfying. The chili is excellent, hearty, and packed with taste. The queso burrito is another winner, bursting with deliciousness. Don’t miss out on the lemon pie; it's a perfect balance of sweet and tart. Overall, Lola Rosa offers a delightful vegan experience that leaves you wanting more!
Amazing spot to dine if you are a vegetarian or vegan! Stopped by early in the afternoon and received a warm and hospitable welcome! We had the steak and cheese sandwich and the burrito and they were absolutely outstanding! Prices were very reasonable which is hard to find these days!
I had the vegan nachos which were tasty. Meadow was such a cool, friendly waitress and the vibe inside was relaxed. I love the surprise that comes with your table and pulled the most spot on note for me and my bestie. Will definitely return!
amazing vegan food! i am not vegan myself, but i love their food! the restaurant is so cozy inside, and service is amazing. i got the hemp burger, and the brownie for dessert. the bbq sauce on the burger is to die for; the burger itself is not particularly flavorful, but still very enjoyable. the brownie is amazing! not too sweet, and perfectly moist. would highly recommend coming here!
Always delicious food and great service. James was game to choose my meal for me and it made my day! Carrot cake for dessert is a must and the mango sunrise is better than booze! Update: try the brownie!
Staff was welcoming and helpful. Food was amazingly delicious! Everyone in our family enjoyed their meals! We will definitely visit again when we return to Montreal!
Food and service is always great! Have been going to this Lola for 8 years now and cant complain. Highly recommended!
Great vegan place. Super friendly staff and good food. Also great local beer. Definitely worth visiting.
Service is worth 10 stars, the staff is kind and amazing. Be nice to them, tip them and be respectful. They are amazing and hard working. Definitely coming back. Food : 5/5 |
Excellent food. Reasonably priced too.
This has been my favorite place to eat in Montreal so far. Really cute little place with little wooden top tables with drawers that have little notes in them various people have written over the years. The menu is eclectic but vegetarian/vegan. Has a number of hemp dishes which were unique. I had a very flavorful grilled tofu, veggies and rice dish with a really unique maple sauce. My wife had the hemp burger. Both were delicious. The carrot cake was very good. I love a good spice cake and this fit the bill. It was light on the icing which I actually appreciate but some might not. Took one point of ambiance because the acoustics of the room were very loud and seemed to amplify voices making it very hard to hear with all the folks talking at once. Will definitely visit here next time Im in Montreal. Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegetarian
Had two starters - one was a brokkoli almond soup and it was delicious. Very nice space and friendly staff
Very cute and cozy. Great vegetarian food.
Vegetarian options: Tout est vegan moi et ma copine on a beaucoup aimer lexpérience. Food
Their main dishes are pretty solid, just dont get their affogato.
So good! We re not vegan, but we wanted a really healthy meal after a day traveling. The signature salad was a work of art, and so delicious. Service was excellent as well, and so were the drinks. Definitely recommend!
I got the vegan gyro sandwich at Lola Rosa and let me tell you it was one of the best sandwiches I ve had in my life. As a vegetarian it s so hard to find sandwiches that are high in protein and delicious. This sandwich exceeded my expectations, and contained unique ingredients like grilled seitan and vegan tofu feta- these are plant-based protein variations that I ve never tried before. The innovation is amazing. I would 100% reccomend this restaurant to any vegan/vegetarian who is visiting Montreal. I will be back again (hopefully when I get into McGill!!!) Update: It was so good, I came back the next day and ordered the same thing!
We havent been for several years!! The restaurant was not busy but there was a French man who quickly welcomed us with kindness and efficiency!! He told us that he could give us all the explanations concerning the menu, once again friendly and very pleasant!! The food had always been very good but several years ago the service could be quite slow!! There were three of us and we watched this man work who was as good in French as in English, there was even a group of 6-7 people who entered and seemed to want to leave seeing that the place was perhaps too full for them to find places together and he quickly welcomed them and moved one or two tables so that they were comfortable and comfortable!! We ate very well too, very very good!! Thank you our experience was very pleasant, we will come back soon!! Vegetarian options: vegan restaurant!!!
Great restaurant with good food! My daughter who goes to McGill took me and it was lovely to visit!
A comfy, small sit-down, vegan restaurant in Milton-Parc, by McGill University, has lots of delicious options. Tried the Gyro and Lolas Cheesesteak sandwiches, both were excellent, as was the chocolate caramel pie The sweet potato wedges were a little too soft for my liking, but tasted fine. Prices are reasonable, and theres an alcohol/cocktail menu. Went for lunch on a Thursday, and even though it was busy, the food arrived at a decent time. Our server was welcoming, knowledgeable and jovial. Keep in mind that parking in this area is hard to find. We found parking on Avenue du Parc, a couple of blocks over. I highly recommend Lola Rosa on Milton!
Great place if you are vegan. Im not vegan but enjoyed the my meal a lot. The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is very cool.
My husband and I ate at this cozy restaurant yesterday evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had the hemp burger with salad and he had the braised tofu dish. Dessert was the lemon square and sorbet. Everything was super yummy! Our waitress Meadow was absolutely stellar! Lola Rosa...whatever youre paying her... its not enough! We very much appreciated her positivity and friendliness! Five stars all around for our evening at Lola Rosa!
Fabulous.
everything was so so good! the flavors on this dish were amazing. will be back!!
There are hundreds of restaurants in Montreal serving a good meal, but this is the place to go if you want something better. We found this little gem of a restaurant while searching for a vegan restaurant, and we will definitely return. You can see and taste the care and effort they put into their food, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Great food, good prices, nice people. Their high ratings are well deserved. Thank you, Eric, for the lovely experience and the molten brownie.
This all vegan restaurant was very cute and the food was quite good. Our waitress was very friendly and pretty on top of it despite seemingly having to serve the entire restaurant on her own! I would recommend you try this place out!
I am not vegan at all. However, I always come back at LEAST once a month because it is SO SO GOOD. You wont regret it at all
The food was so very delicious, service was excellent! Vegetarian options: Ans vegan options Food : 5/5 |
Really nice place with great vegan food! Service was very attentive, food came quickly and was delicious! We really recommend the burger.
Excellent address for vegetarians. The choice is wide and delicious. The service is top notch. The prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity provided. I highly recommend.
Excellent address, delicious vegan cuisine, very warm welcome Our last restaurant before our return to France. We will stay on a very positive note, a treat for our taste buds
Good food and great service! The drinks were also delicious
Id like to say no comments, but Im here to make some. What is that ?? Unpleasant place, too small. We were stuck together. Floors and tables that were really lacking in cleanliness, and, above all, gnats and flies everywhere! I spent all my time trying to keep them away, but to no avail. A pitcher of Aperol for $40, 90% of which was ice cubes!! I saw this, I was next to the bar. If thats not stealing, I dont know what is. Honestly, I dont understand the 5 stars..
We had a great time at Lola Rosas. The food was excellent, the tofu well cooked and the dessert was perfect! Vegetarian options: Fully vegan menu
Had the burrito and braised tofu beyond amazing. My go to vegan place from now on
Ive come to Lola Rosa many times and have always enjoyed it, often recommending it to others. However, my most recent experience left a bad taste in my mouth and not because of the food, but because of the service. Our first server was lovely, but the server who handled our checks behaved in a way that I found very inappropriate. My friend skipped the tip option on the machine, and the server snatched the machine out of her hand, canceled the transaction, and stated that tipping was mandatory! As a bartender/server myself, I agree that you should always tip your waitstaff, and I always do, even for just a coffee. I understand how frustrating it can be not to receive a tip, but the reality is that tipping is optional. If thats something you cant handle, you shouldnt be a server. And if your restaurant wants to mandate tipping, thats fine, but you should remove the no tip option from the debit machine and inform your customers of your tipping policy as soon as you seat them. Personally, I will not be coming back to this location.
Good prices and great food!
The braised tofu was delicious and we had excellent service!
During my last day in Montreal, I researched the best vegetarian-friendly restaurants in Montreal, and Lola Rosa appeared. Im so glad I decided to make the trip (it s located in a beautiful, quaint neighborhood). I received the best service from the lovely server, Meadow, and the owner, Eric, who gave the most vibrant explanation of the menu. The Caesar salad and cheesesteak were to die for. I was happily full but still had a delicious mango basil sorbet. I absolutely loved my time in Montreal, but Lola Rosa was the icing on the cake! I recommend this plant-based diets and meat waters alike!
We dont have places like this where I live. Great, crowd-pleasing plant-based food in a cozy atmosphere. Vegetarian options: The whole menu is plant-based!
Everything was great BUT the noise level/accoustics make it challenging for conversation. Hope to see this improvement to an excellent experience otherwise.
We had the gyro sandwich and the cheesesteak. Both amazing. Everything so fresh and homemade. Were not vegan and this was truly amazing!
Visiting from out of town and found this place after walking around McGill and could not be happier with the find! Absolutely loved everything about Lola Rosa and all the small touches that made the space even more special (the notes in the drawers were so cute). We had a primarily vegetarian group and everyone was so excited about all the options and the service was phenomenal. The beet tartare was a crowd pleaser and the lasagna was the perfect end to our night. Could not recommend them enough!
Some of the best vegan food I ve ever had! The braised tofu is to die for. I ordered it 3 times in a few months. The team, service and atmosphere are a pleasure!! A must visit!
I m not vegan but this place is a staple when I go to Montreal. Everything I ve had has been great.
Beautiful local spot that we love to visit when were in town, this location is my favourite. Vegetarian options: The whole restaurant is 100% plant based Dietary restrictions: vegetarian, nut free options
Im personally not a vegetarian nor vegan, but certainly open to try new ways to enjoy lunch or dinner. The food was really good of taste (complements to the chef). And the lady of the house was also very friendly during service. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the room. Certainly will advise this place to friends travelling to Montreal. Greetings from a Belgium visitor.
i didnt know vegetarian food could be good until i tried lola rosa. i came here often as a mcgill student when i lived in the neighborhood and my favourites were the spinach lasagna and the nachos. the little drawers at each table made each visit memorable. my friends and i loved to read the notes and add our own to the collection.
The best Vegetarian / Vegan spot we ve been to in a long time, the dishes are cleverly crafted and our host Meadow was a delight to interact with! We ll be back with friends. Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian!
I have been going to Lola Rosa for many many years off and on. I just returned to see the restaurants painted waiting room colour with absolutely no character or homey energy in the space. The only charm left were the tables with the drawers holding the lovely notes. As soon as I saw the menu I knew I should have left. It was not the same eclectic diverse culinary experience. The very same menu as the Lola on William ,feels like an airplane menu. I lived in the building on William and the Lola there was horrible and expensive. I ordered the philly cheese steak and when the waitress put it in front of me it was absolutely terrible to look at food just slapped on a plate. I did not order the salad that comes with this item because as I looked at the other tables the salad looked like someone put their hand in a mixed salad bag from the grocery store and put dressing on it. The sandwich had three red peppers strips the size of a golf pencil , onions and the main meat. Half was overcooked and half was undercooked. I ordered a skimpy non alcoholic raspberry lemonade. $30 with tip. Bread, satay? and a drink. I died a little inside. This was my most favourite place. The food was always memorable. They also didnt have many items on the menu and ran out of feta. The server was nice. I do not recommend to visit Lola Milton or place Des arts if you are visiting and googled vegan restaurants. Sorry. :(
Cozy plant-based mexican restaurant. Fairly small menu, would be great if they had a few taco options as well for lighter food. I got the nachos which were really tasty and super filling and the burrito which was pretty flavourless so I dont recommend that. The place could have been a bit cleaner in my opinion.
Very friendly place, very friendly staff and delicious food.
Great vegan food. I recommend the nachos.
Extremely high noise level for such a small dining room. This should be remedied. The solution: install acoustic panels in your dining room.
Great food and people!
Excellent! I was in a hurry so I only had a Rosa salad with feta and it was to die for. My new favorite vegan address in Montreal.
Nothing special. Wouldnt go back.
Fantastic vegan lunch. A must visit.
It s good, it s fresh and the price is more than reasonable. Best restaurant in Montreal
We have been longtime patrons of Lola Rosa and really enjoy the food and service. But as a neighbour all I can say about the establishment is meh. If they way they manage their wastes is any indication of the respect they show towards their neighbours this scene outside doesn t paint a very pretty picture. And it wasn t even garbage day!
Absolutely wonderful Vegetarian options: Vegan Food : 5/5 |
Very cute small place. Good wine card. Staff was very nice and explain the menu and all my questions as it was my first experience. Food very tasty and good textures.
Tasty, varied, reasonable prices and friendly staff, go for it! A little hard to get along when there are people that said
Been here several times and wife s favorite spot in city.
Fantastic place with phenomenal vegan food! The service was very fast and friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable for such generous portions and amazing quality. The Burrito Chorizo Et Queso was absolutely delicious! I can t wait to return!
Amazing food and great service. Our waiter was so nice and the ambiance was wonderful. Definitely try the tartar!
I loved the food. Amazing food and great service. The tartare was splendid and I would highly recommend brownie ice cream
food is so so delicious definitely coming back. perfect for a girls night!!!
Nice food. Good service and atmosphere. Affordable prices. Thanks
One of the best vegan places with yummy flavors. The only thing is that the options are too few. But the warm vibes and kind service makes it worth it.
Service is great, taking great care to inform us of everything including meals that are not available right from the beginning. That was really appreciated. The food was ok for what it is since Im not usually going to vegan restaurants, that is the main dish was pretty good. Where I deduct a star was the dessert. I ordered a brownie and it wasnt really a brownie. It was served hot which was necessary because otherwise it got hard and tough as it cooled down. Vegetarian options: Their food is all vegan.
Small cozy restaurant, there were 5 of us for a birthday and we all really liked it! Vegetarian options: Vegan restaurant
The food was incredible and affordable, the staff friendly and smiling. I recommend to everyone and not just vegans ;)!!
A little air of the southwest of France, like at home. The tattooed brunette waitress is the best!!
Super tasty vegan food! Chill atmosphere with good music selection as well. Loved the handwritten notes in the entry way.
Good taste and they got big portions
Food is good. Service is slow. Super cold inside. Prices are up. Place-des-Arts location is better.
LOVE the Lola Rosa family! Its my go-to when Im in Montreal. Milton is charming, intimate, relaxed and the staff are welcoming. The menu is simple and everything is delish. The sangria is yum. Be sure to check out the drawers at each table which contain notes/messages from previous diners. Bon appetit!
Food is not what it used to be. The portions seemed small them before . Still hungry after the main course.
Unitextural burger, was very moist/soft in the mouth. The burrito and sweet potatoes were very good though! For desserts, Im normally less of a fan of chocolate on chocolate desserts, but the best we tried was the chocolate caramel cake. Otherwise, nice warm atmosphere with desks for tables. All in all, a good first vegan restaurant experience.
For a new client, very cool place! Great decor, great comfort food, really friendly people and a warm place to study. I recommend 100% and above all to try the chocolate tart with a scoop of strawberry/basil ice cream! Yum!
Delicious food and amazing staff!
A really great place, highly recommended! Good menu, good choice of drinks. Great relaxed atmosphere! I will definitely come back here Food : 5/5 |
If you want a great experience at a vegan restaurent in Montreal you guys should definitely visit Lola Rosa Milton
Very good experience in this vegan restaurant! Cozy atmosphere, wooden decor, pleasant service. The menu is rich, good value for money, I recommend ++!
Small, cozy restaurant with excellent service. Here are the photos of our dishes that we all loved! The nachos starter was perfect for three people. I will return to this branch as the service is excellent. Thank you for this beautiful evening!
Very good service, super welcoming and good food.
Veggan restaurant. Delicios. You must try this place. Specially if you are a meat eater. Vegetarian options: Is a veggan restaurant. You wouldnt know by the taste of the food. Is delicious
Ive been coming here for the last 4 years and everytime the food and service has been spectacular. The nachos are so unique and full of flavor, I would recommend everyone to try it. The Milton branch of Lola Rosa is definitely better in terms of food and service than the Place des Arts one, speaking from experience of visiting both on several occasions. Vegan food at its best
Valentines Day dinner with my lover
Been here a few times. Simple environment. Friendly. Great food. Love the music playlist playing in the background!
We loved it!! Big favorite. Warm place, great service (thanks to the particularly adorable brunette, tattooed waitress) we will come back.
Celebrated my birthday here, and it was perfect! The service was wonderful, the staff was kind and welcoming. The place was so homey, cozy and cute. Everyone loved their vegan food and drinks. I had the curry, and my friends enjoyed the carrot tartare, vegan lasagna, savory salad, tacos, and the delicious tofu with fried vegetables highly recommend it. The cozy atmosphere, with hidden letters in the tables from previous guests, makes it a unique experience. Ill definitely come back! As a bonus, they offered strawberry coulis with the vegan cake my friends brought for my birthday, and it was a perfect combination. Thank you for making my birthday so special
A very nice little neighborhood restaurant with tasty and simple vegan cuisine. A charming waiter who had a delicate attention. A beautiful musical atmosphere.
Nice. Tables are too tight together. Vegetarian options: All-vegan restaurant Food : 5/5 |
BEST VEGAN FOOD EVER
A lovely place with comforting and delicious vegan food. The smoked carrot tartare is out of this world. I would go back just for that.
Cozy, heartwarming food and place. Perfect on a cold winter afternoon.
Our favourite vegetarian restaurant in Montreal.
Superb restaurant and what can we say about the dishes which are wonderfully good!
Cesar salad composed of two rough lettuce leaves and a few grilled capers I think and super salty salad and of course croutons! A big disappointment at a big price in the end. Ordinary service and condescending waiter!
Ordered 12 items and sent back 1 because of a weird aftertaste. It was barely eaten. Asked for different dish instead and was told we d have to pay for both. What type I ve customer service is this? Everything was going good up until that point. 200$ in food and that s the type of customer service you get. You also have to call them 5 times to come to the table. They don t come and check.
Cozy atmosphere, great service, okay food, unfortunately not too many options for consumers with dairy, gluten, and egg allergies
Dishes are sooo delicious and full of flavour. Will be back regularly. You cant miss this!
We arrived late (our flight was delayed) after 14 hours travelling from the UK. The team were SO kind! Rehydrated us without us once needing to ask for more water and such friendly service. The food was AMAZING - I forgot to photograph the nachos: best Ive ever eaten and 100% vegan. Sadly we were too full and tired to reach dessert. Thank you Lola Rosa for the perfect dinner after a long haul day. Dietary restrictions: Brilliant when we asked about nut allergy (all our meals no problem)
Very rich!!! 100% recommended in Montreal, healthy and delicious food, super attentive service and great price!!
Nice atmosphere. Good and tasty dishes.
Always great discoveries. They have a gift for creating dishes. Everything is always very tasty. Im crazy about their nachos.
Fantastic flavors abound in a quaint setting.
Best vegan nachos, ever. So flavourful and really substantial. We opted to add the chorizo - good decision!
I was hesitant being a non vegan when we walked into this restaurant but it has an immediate relaxing atmosphere. The menu sounded very interesting and we ordered nachos to start. I can tell you that those are amongst the best nachos Ive ever eaten. I only realized after a few bites that there was no cheese which makes sense. My lasagna was also very delicious. It had interesting flavours of chickpeas and other things I couldnt place but enjoyed. Our waitress was very friendly and fast. Im glad I didnt walk out after hearing vegan. I felt adventurous that day and it paid off. Highly recommend this place. Especially the nachos!
Happened upon a lonely vegan place!
Top-notch nachos
Wonderful experience. Food was really delicious and the service was equally good. Portion size - very generous.
Great service great food
Food was delicious, service was also very good, parking around though gets complicated around happy hours, and they don t have puffed spanakopita anymore (I really wanted to try it)
We were taken out of the restaurant at 9:30 p.m., a table of 5 people, telling us that they will not serve desserts, for a reservation at 8:30 p.m., because the waitress wanted to close the restaurant immediately. Unacceptable!!! Never seen before in a restaurant. In addition to not being friendly during the service. ASHAMED !!!!!!!
They highly recommended this restaurant to me, I went with a group of friends from abroad, we booked the penultimate Sunday service, when we arrived, the waitress put pressure on us to place the order, she was arrogant on several occasions, at dessert time she placed our order but came back to tell us can you have dessert to take away? Because I dont want to close by myself we had a very bad experience.
Everything is just wonderful. The food is incredibly tasty. The staff is very friendly. Perfectly. Food
I really liked the meals and the atmosphere! The burritos are excellent!
Open the drawers
Very good food , vegetarian cuisine in a quaint setting located near McGill ... The portions were fair size for the price paid ... Lola and Rosa were both there working their eatery ... much success ahead !! Food
I ve walked by this place for years but have never gone in. Too bad because it was a really good meal. I really enjoyed the braised tofu and legumes dish with cream of coriander. The price was good too. I highly recommend. Plus, it was gluten free.
Very good if you like spicy food, it s perfect. Service a little long and room quickly noisy.
Very good service and nice atmosphere!
Such a special place! The food and space are simultaneously cozy and elegant. It can get a bit loud when the place is full, but that just adds to the fun vibe of the place.
Nice informal place. Ok for a quick lunch
Honestly the Nachos were the best we have ever had. And the Tofu was a spicy excellence. Highly recommend for a visit.
Very good veggie restaurant! I recommend it 100%.
Well prepared and thoughtfully plated dishes. Excellent menu options.
Delicious vegetarian food! I will return without a doubt
Super nice, cozy, with yummiest vegetarian food you can ever try. Their food took me back to a nostalgiac childhood flavor. taste buds satisfied.
Excellent service the dishes are fabulous I highly recommend the nachos
Lola Rosa always has the curry that I crave and it is always so good! There is added sweetness from the raisins, protein from the tofu and the seasonal veggies always keep me on my toes. Lola Rosa never disappoints. The portion for the curry is perfect and the bread is always warm. Vegetarian options: vegan and gluten free options!
Food and experience was much better before they got new management. Used to be a regular and I ve noticed a lot of staff changes. I assume because of new owners.
Everything we ordered was super delicious. Staff was little late serving order but totally worth it in the end. We ordered Baingan bhartha, Lola nachos, chillies, burrito bowl, lasagna. Food
One of the best vegetarian food I have ever eaten. I m an Asian, we have our own masalas, and I used to think nothing can match that. However, this place is the best place to dine in if you are near by. Only complaint is the waiting time. We waited for 30 to 49 mins for the food and the restaurant was not that busy. There was a French speaking waiter. He communicates little in English, but he can suggest best dishes, and he was good with servicing the food too. Overall I m happy.
My first dine out in Montreal is here in 2019. The meal after my phd defense was here months ago. Now it may be the last meal in Canada because I am going to leave. Time flies and I will always remember the beautiful experience in Montreal and the food here.
First time in Montreal, I went to Lola Rosas twice. Being vegetarian, the choice and quality of the dishes completely appealed to me! The atmosphere is very cozy and chill, and the team is very pleasant. I recommend the chilli and curry!
Amazing vegetarian food, friendly staff
I had dinner at Lola Rosa on a Sunday night and absolutely loved it! The restaurant itself is quaint and cozy and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Moscow Mule was one of the best I ve ever had! The Bolognese Lasagna was well worth the 20 minutes it takes to cook! And I couldn t pass up the brownie with ice cream with an espresso for dessert. I can t recommend this place enough!
High quality, delicious comfort food. Cosy atmosphere, quick service, everything looks clean. Highly recommend.
Had lunch with a friend. Service was friendly and quick. The food was cooked well with delicious sauces. Vegetarian options: excellent plant-based dishes with lots of flavor
A very nice variety of tasty dishes. Efficient and friendly wait staff. Give it a try.
Such a wonderful find, tucked away in the back tree lined streets near McGill. The staff are lovely and the food just delights, always a beautiful surprise. Go Lola
Vegan Dish I was gifted was spectacular! Congratulations to everyone there for helping to make my first experience there memorable
My partner found this amazing little vegan gem in a lovely Montreal neighborhood near McGill university. Fantastic vegan selection from appetizers, entrees, desserts, to beverages. Top that with excellent customer service and unique dining tables with hand-written notes from past diners to create an even more memorable experience. Great place for all of life s unique occasions Thank you Lola Rosa Milton for a wonderful dining experience and to the patrons note for reminding us that life is precious, and to be kind to each other (especially our animals ). We will be back
Loved our dinner here! Extra spicy Asian tofu for hubby and chili for me - both were large portions with lots of rice and not overly rich thankfully. Staff couldn t be nicer, comfy atmosphere and delicious food!
Great food, good prices and great service!!
Its a quaint little restaurant with a great atmosphere and good vegan food. Dont forget to leave a note when youre done
Food was great, so was the service!
I had the curry and I loved it! I ll certainly come back to try other options :) Staff are super friendly!! Food
Very interesting vegan dishes, reasonable prices and exceptional service! My girlfriend and I ordered the braised tofu and were pleasantly surprised!
I was very pleasantly surprised. Usually I leave vegan restaurants hungry but I am so full my wife had to drive! I cant believe everything was all plant based.
Lola Rose in Montreal is a true culinary delight. The nachos and Dirty Tea I tried were simply fantastic. The nachos were loaded with flavor and made to perfection. As for the Dirty Tea, it was a refreshing and unique beverage. What truly stood out was the excellent customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience, making us feel welcomed and valued. Lola Rose combines great food with exceptional service, making it a must-visit in Montreal.
Ive dinned in before and ordered the large ceasar and have loved the portion size and taste. Tonight I ordered the large ceasar to share as a side with my partner and there was hardly enough for 1let alone 2. Also there were no capers which I love and expected. Very disappointed and Uber wont do anything to help. 23$ for a few bites of salad is not ok.
Very good cuisine. Very welcoming, kind staff, good advice. I recommend with your eyes closed. For adults and children. A delight
A cozy place to have a meal with friends.
fantastic nachos and salad!
Don t miss your chance to try their special dish of potato pasta , three types of deliciously cooked mushrooms with red-wine sauce (don s look at my red glass of wine)
Great service! Delicious food! Highly recommend the cilantro crema
Love the braised tofu and chocolate caramel pie. So good and great service!
We love eating there as a family. The service is great and the food is delicious with (vegan) options for everyone :) THANKS!
Vegetarian options: Lots options, was excellent food choices, will definitely come back when I visit Montreal. Food
Very good vegan. Good service...
Aesthetically pleasing spot. Very creative menu items. Took some non-vegan friends there and they enjoyed their meals and were open to trying everything we got for the table. Friendly staff. I do wish the side portions were bigger (ex: sweet potato wedges only came with ~5 thick-cut slices).
My boyfriend and I come here all the time for the food but yesterday we tried their pumpkin spice latte and Carmel latte and they were both amazing. The waiters are always very nice and they even have a discount for students! I highly recommend for anyone passing by the Milton parc area
Excellent vegan restaurant. Small cozy atmosphere and friendly servers.
Great find on a 2 day trip to Montreal. The food is great, along with the staff and atmosphere too.
Loved this vegan restaurant. Great vibe and delicious food, had us wondering how they made some dishes. Very friendly helpful staff. Altogether excellent
Truly an excellent restaurant. Great discovery. The Caesar room was magnificent, just too good. The lasagna was excellent! Very good choice of restaurant
DELICIOUS
Very friendly service and great food
Street parking. Heart of McGill ghetto so lots of young minds. Friendly staff. All vegan menu. The much raved nachos deserved the hype. The vegan cashew cheese was decadent. Generous portions with lots of legumes so there wasnt room to finish my main meal even though it was delicious. Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available.
We loved everything, one of the best vegan restaurants we ve been to (or even the very best). I want to live in Montreal, just to be able to come here anytime. We had the chili and the special, miso mac and cheese. Vegetarian options: Vegan
Comida vegetariana sensacional. Experimentamos em 2018 porque meu filho estava vegetariano e adoramos a montanha de nachos e a salada ceaser. Voltamos 4 anos depois e a comida estava maravilhosa. Delicious food and great service. The portions of nachos is large and great for sharing.
The food is incredible, absolutely astonishing, the best vegan food Ive ever eaten. The staff were incredibly friendly, the service quick, and the ambience of the restaurant was superb. If you have a plant based diet you must try this restaurant. Recommended dishes
Vegan deliciousness. Next time we need to try desserts. Thanks for the gentil service. Cute area with a great used bookstore a few blocks away. Nos vemos la próxima visita a Montreal! Food
Small portions but nice atmosphere
Excellent choice for relaxed tasty meal with excellent friendly service. Vegetarian options: Both our meals were well presented and tasty. The carrot soup was savory and hearty. The salad was a very visually appealing combination of ingredients accompanied by two options of dressings on the side. The hemp burger was a unique home made combination well worth the visit. The special Christmas cake with chocolate sauce topped off the dinner. We will definitely return to this restaurant on our next visit to Montreal.
A little noisy
The food is so delicious and the staff especially RORY is very nice and professional. Please stop by and try this gem in Montreal. I live in Los Angeles and came for the weekend . I am sold .
Delicious and comforting food and very friendly service!
We went to the Place des Arts location and it is reservation only. We called the Milton location and they got us a table right away. The service was amazing with Rory, the food to die for and overall an awesome atmosphere! My sister was visiting from L.A and fell in love. Said she will be back just for Lola Rosa. I used to go to the Parc location but Milton is the bomb... Will be back soon because I kept craving the nachos since Saturday We had the nachos, the Hemp burger, the cheesesteak and the brownie. For drinks, we had the mango sunrise. Just Waouh... Everything was excellent! The portions were huge.. I dont know how I squized the brownie in but I did and it was 100% worth it. Even if youre not vegan, go try it... Its amaze-ball... I promise
