I didnt know honey garlic sauce could be this good

I ordered chicken to go and it smelt like fish we were smelling our order before we left and thought it was maybe a sauce in the salad but we opened it at home and it was the chicken. Very unappetizing to eat chicken that smells like fish.

OMG! For all the spicy lovers you must try the Armageddon sauce. Awesome flavour with killer spice. Cautious of the chicken strips. I thought they would be small. No. Theyre huge!

A must when in Moose Jaw ..

Wings are typical but there are so many sauce/dry rub to choose from. They also give a generous serving of fries. They also have a long list of flavors for milkshake. Ill come back when I visit Moose Jaw again.

We made the trip from Regina to Moose Jaw specifically to try out Deja Vu Café, and it did not disappoint! The wings are absolutely incredible crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. With so many sauce options to choose from, there s something for everyone. We tried a few different flavors, and each one was fantastic. The café itself has a cozy, laid-back atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. It s clear this spot is a local favorite, and now we know why. If youre looking for great wings, this place is definitely worth the drive!

Always my go to place when in Moose Jaw.

I have enjoyed the place before, but this time we failed to pay attention to the time. About 15 of us ladies decided this was the place for supper as we all got into town from across Canada. We ended up getting there just before closing, but there was no indication that any was amiss. Food was amazing! Services was exceptional! It was 1.5 hours after closing when one of our ladies thought to look to see what time we had left. We felt so bad and yet the staff handled it with such grace! Never once did we feel like a bother or that anyone was impatient. Highest of compliments to that staff that night for being so kind and welcoming to us and the food still being amazing. Will for sure be back! (We will watch the time this time) :) Dietary restrictions: Had multiple people with us with a mixture of allergies the biggest ones were milk, gluten, whey, and bell peppers. Everyone was able to find food to eat and enjoy without issue.

Love this place. Typically go for lunch when we are passing thru or staying in the city. Nothing better than a milkshake and wings.

One hell of a menu, I spent more time debating on what to get than I have at any other restaurant. Staff was very polite and well mannered, and a little shoutout to Tegan and his work ethic. Always stayed busy making sure people were taken care of and satisfied, running orders out, running the till, and cleaning tables all while maintaining a positive attitude. He s earned his next break for sure!

Before I complain, these wings were excellent. Makes me sad we dont have a local wing restaurant this good. Had 4 flavors and they felt well worth the money. The servers let us down a bit. We had an excellent server who went on break and told us that the other staff would check up on us. I genuinely believe that she had talked to them prior to going on break. The other servers did not check on us once during the meal. Put an empty glass on the end of the table hoping for a refill. Eventually had to go up to the bar table to get a refill and was passed by 3 different staff before waving someone down to get a refill. The only time we were assisted was to ask if we wanted a box to go when we wanted to order something else yet. Food was excellent, feel like the service staff let us down.

Great way to top off a hot day with yummy wings and a cool thickshake. Staff are great, and the food was awesome. Highly recommend stopping in here when you are in Moose Jaw.

They charged me 20 bucks for the food of 10 bucks. Service was worst ever as they didnt even bother me to ask for water. Another money grab business i had bad experience with. I have added the proof of the reiept they charged me, when i confronted them, they said u did had 20 bucks of wings and i said, i had only 9 bucks of wings. Their wings are garbage too. Just fry the wings and toss some of the sauce. Whats so special about it????

Overall we had a very good experience. The vibe is good and you can tell that its a local hot spot. Didnt wait long to get a table and service was good. Food came quickly and portions were ok. The only bad thing to say is that you have to pay for parking, didnt cost much but its inconvenient. Would recommend. Parking: Bring change. $.25 for 8 mins

Just go. And just a suggestion.... a small shake if youre ordering a dinner meal. My god we practically rolled out the front door. Awesome dinner experience.

Pre ordered wings for pick up and ended eating in restaurant. The preordered wings were over cooked. Over breaded. Second order looked much better. When received order waitress indicated bottom of first order looked okay. Second order was smaller portions and started out better but one order had many cartilage pieces VERY disappointing. Probably won t be ordering wings again. The milkshakes were good though.

Food is always great and large portions. Milkshakes are an added bonus and are too filling so always have a doggie bag after the meal! Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp installed at entrance, no access issues found.

This little restaurant use to be our favourite. Not anymore it isn t. Last two times we have gone the wait for our food has been terrible. We waited a full hr on our last visit for our food to come to the table. When it did arrive it was on the cool side and besides we had a toddler with us waiting that long . Not impressed. No one even checked on us in that hr. We might give them one more try and then we are done going there

We order the chicken strip meal and 12 chicken wings. When the strips came, the batter was greasy, and soggy, and falling off the meat. We complained about the batter and the seasoning, She took out plate back to the kitchen to talk to the chef, and we where told we don t season the chicken, your dipping sauce is the flavour and where told we lightly batter them, so it sometime falls off we ate 2 out of the 6 and the waitress offer to packing up for us after we complained. The chicken wing had nowhere near enough teriyaki sauce on the and the other one had no lemon pepper seasoning on them. At this point our complaints where being ignored and we paid over 60$ on the meal that we drove into from Regina, as we where told they have the best strips in wings in town! DO NOT make the trip out to Moose Jaw !!!

It was very welcoming and relaxing.

All of the waitresses were very nice and kind. But the menu didnt really have a variety of options and the portions were very weird. I got popcorn chicken and fries. But the thing is that there was a little portion of popcorn chicken but a lot of fries. We also prefer mashed/baked potato to fries as it is way healthier, but its not part of the offering. We also asked for the garden soup but they brought us the mushroom soup which was tooooo watery. And I do not think Garden soup is a suitable name for Mushroom soup!!! We also ordered a crispy chicken wrap which was not crispy at all! And how long did we have to wait for the food? Too long, around 40 minutes. Overall, we were not happy with the food and the service.

The staff was great but the food was extremely slow coming out to our table. The chicken seemed like it was old and dry but not crispy. They were very busy and need more staff. We sat and waited almost 2 hours from the time we arrived and the time we finished and left.

We eat here annually on trips to the city and it has always been an anticipated favorite. This year the wings were much smaller and less meaty than usual. Shakes and sauces still great, but we re worried they re cutting back on the meat quality/quantity to cut costs. Food went from excellent to just ok in the past year. Has there been a change in management? That experience takes them from We always eat here when we come to Moose Jaw onto the maybe list.

Food is hot, wings and milkshakes are main offerings. Food is tasty and well made. No space for large groups- must sit at different tables. Back room is not interesting. Main restaurant features soda shop style counter where food is prepared. Staff is efficient. Some are friendly and welcoming. Generally a busy place. Parking: Some parking in the rear- a bit difficult to see if they have their own parking or if it s all offstreet pay parking provided by the city of MJ

Not so good experience eating here. We drove less than an hour to eat in their restaurant. Made reservation 3 days ahead thought that dine table is ready. We came 20 mins early to give the staff heads up. The staff said it should be ready at 6PM. But when we came back we have waited 30 mins to get our spot. There is nothing special with the food. the place is too small. Hoping that next time they should get the table ready at least 15 mins early before the reservation time. Or they should not accept reservation at all .

Delicious wings and milkshakes

I go just to grab one of their 100 flavours of shakes every time Im in Moose Jaw - and every now and then for some of their yummy wings. Really great place for both shakes and wings.

Processed, fatty food. Gravy is a translucent sauce.....not real gravy. The fries are good if you get them fresh.....instead of cold..... its like eating nasty leftovers. The ribs are not a dry rub option, theyre breaded, tiny, overcooked & dried out. The milkshakes are tasty, but again, whats actually in it? I highly doubt its ice cream. The flavors are in squirt bottles. Recommend only for a grease craving.

Stopped in for take out, ordered the boneless wings with creamy Buffalo sauce, Sweet potato fries and Vanilla shake. Everything was perfect! Cooked right, good portions and the sauces were bang on! The milkshake was the icing on the cake! Thanks for the great service and awesome eats!!

Service was good at the beginning but later on as we were paying, the server didnt know our order which was 2 loaded 44 and 2 small milkshakes and deep fried pickles and we were overcharged for it. Overall was not a very satisfying experience

THE place to go for deep fried chicken in Moose Jaw. Quaint find as they offer dozens of unique sauces that are totally counterintuitive as well as numerous classics.

My partner and his cousin suggested going here before leaving Moose Jaw the other day, and I dont regret it one bit! The wings were phenomenal and the service was top notch. I want to try so many different things on the menu, but the fact that I wasnt able to will keep me coming back. The only complaint was the pickle chips were too salty. Our waitress (who I believe was also the owner or owners wife) warned us they were salty ahead of time, so that was appreciated and we got them anyway. All in all, it was a highlight of our mini vacation! We will be back this summer after attending a family wedding

I order the 12 piece wing dinner and cant crush er back. Always leave with leftovers. Great service from the servers and fast service from the cooks. Busy place!

Be sure to visit this gem of a chicken joint / milkshake shop! We stayed a little later as we were passing thru town, as to not miss dining here...it is a must while in Moose Jaw! **They are closed Monday and Tuesday, so we stuck around til they opened this morning Portion sizes are huge, there are an incredible amount of flavours for both wings and shakes. Our service was 10/10! Looking forward to returning next time we pass thru town. Great job team!! I ordered here off skip the dishes. They forgot my poutine but was quick to fix the mistake! The food was amazing. The portions were huge and it filled everyone up. Highly recommend them

This place has 100 kinds of sauces to try with wings they are also famous for their shakes . We tried their lemon and pepper wings with fire and ice sauce, which was great. I definitely recommend this place to visit at least once.

Deja Vu Cafe s new hire Leo is amazing. Leo is so sweet, polite, kind and they have an amazing smile that just gives such a warm feeling(for that reason Leo is my new favourite server). Also the food here is pretty good, the milkshakes are great :)

Once a year I get the 20/20 platter it is a delicious treat, I regularly go here and buy the Armageddon sauce 20 oz for home cooking, Edit** went in today for my hot sauce and met the owners and they were really nice! The previous owner was there too showing them them how too run the restaurant as well, it was a great experience!

Excellent chicken wings, the Texas Ranch sauce was fantastic. The milkshakes were delicious and good sized. The service was prompt and very friendly. The feeling inside was fairly old-fashioned with pictures of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, and historic photos of Moose Jaw. Was relatively busy and noisy inside. Street parking available.

Lindsay has been our server the past couple visits and is an absolute joy. She is very attentive, and friendly. One of the best servers weve ever had. Thank you Lindsay and Deja Vu cafe for another enjoyable date night Food

Delicious cappuccino milkshake in a frosty-cold glass. Yummy chicken salad sandwich. Very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Service was a bit slow and room was a bit noisy, but I would definitely return. Parking: Parking is affordable and close. You might have to hunt for a spot.

Shakes were very good. Food expensive Seen a lady wiping toilets (wiped the lid as it was up and then the top of tank)and then go take food out. When we asked her if she was going to wash her hands she denied wiping the toilet seat even though I was standing there watching. Not ok.

We ordered the platter of 20 wings and 20 strips, it also comes with a coleslaw and a fries. We just added onions rings. Definitely a good price and the serving is good for 4-6 people. You can get to choose your sauces cause they have variety, and loving the milkshakes too. A good place to spend your money with. Staffs are amazing too, even the owners. Will be back again soon.

I ordered the naked Sahara wings (mix of Montana Ranch and Garlic Parm sauces), sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The GF/un-breaded wings were an amazing flavour-a nice strong garlic taste with a touch of heat from the ranch. The sweet potato fries and dip were easily the best Ive ever had. My partner ordered the Aloha wings. She also really liked the flavour. We shared a Key Lime Pie milkshake. It was to die for! My only problem was there was a bit more sauce than I prefer and that I couldve done with 6 wings instead of 12. These are the biggest wings Ive eaten outside of the States. Ill gladly return to try out different flavours of wings and milkshakes! Update: I have Celiac Disease. Both times I ate at Deja Vu (including this one), I requested gluten free wings. Both times, immediately after leaving I became very ill with symptoms of being glutened. I loved the taste of the food, but I worry that there was too much cross contamination of my food that made me ill.

Did take out on 6 strips and an order of popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken is listed as 11.99, and the container contained 12 pieces of popcorn chicken. Sorry but a dollar each for a little piece of popcorn chicken is outrageous. After 8 years of ordering from this restaurant this was the last. **Update: after being encouraged to try again. Ordered the kids popcorn chicken and contained over double the popcorn chicken, fries, and a drink for less cost than the order of popcorn chicken previously placed. Word to the wise, check your order before you leave.

We were passing through town and gave this a try and all four of us in our party were happy. Fried Pickle, chicken strips, wings, and milkshakes were all enjoyed. Almost overwhelming how many options there are, but we liked everything we tried.

The chicken strips here are great. I personally do not care for the wings so pickle chips and chicken strips with one of the many sauces to choose from is my go to. From my experience I would say around 50/100 of the sauces are really good; 25/100 are okay and the last 25 are not great. Definitely worth a try if you havent eaten here before.

We ordered two orders of ribs and an order of sweet potatoes fries to go, which was $48. We got on the road, open the sweet potatoes they are over cooked and absolutely tasteless, no seasoning but also just no taste to the fries. Moving on, open the ribs it s breaded chicken, I m assuming this is boneless wings. So now we have accepted that we are eating chicken .it was awful. I got wet Greek, all we could taste was rancid olive oil. Honey Dill flavour was ok, at the very least edible. This is made so much worse by the fact that we have eaten here for years every time we visit MJ. Time to find a new stop I think. Honestly, save your fifty bucks.

The wings were delicious! Several sauces and spices to choose from. It was busy so our food took a while but the waitress was quick to refill my drink. We had deep fried banana.

Portions are huge. Almost impossible to choose from the 100s of wing and milkshake flavours!

Super cheap for a big group I brought my family of 8 in here and it only took 10 mins to get seated Wings where amazing !

Chicken wrap and fresh cut fries were very tasty. Need to try the milkshake next time Im there. It was very busy between 12-1, so if you can get there before the 12 oclock rush, it would speed up service immensely, or wait til after 12:30. Wait staff were very attentive and easy to interact with. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options.

Loved this place. Milkshake was amazing so many flavors to pick from. 100 I believe. Had chicken strips was the best I ever had served with homemade fries and coleslaw. The nostalgia of old Moosejaw was featured throughout the restaurant plus celebrities like Elvis, Marilyn Monroe great atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Gonna be back.

Great service and food was delicious

Everyone gave great comments so I dont think I need to write more. In my own opinion, everything was just so great. I stayed a bit longer to wait for my van going back to Regina and the waitress was still happy. Thank you for having me and the great sweet potatoes fries

Best selection of wings , milk shakes that are thick with rich flavours and some of the best home cut fries with hefty portions, a bit of a wait when busy but so worth it! Kid-friendliness: they knocked off a whole little league Baseball ball team like nobodies buisness! was very empressed.
