Food was good. Lots of fried foods. They give you cutlery and water and that s about all for service.

Honestly, some of the best Chinese food Ive ever eaten. We got take away, service was prompt and the food was HOT when we got home to eat. Everything was delicious!

Terrible food! caned mushrooms in the rice? Watery S&S sauce? No bean spouts in the egg rolls just cabbage? Will never go back again!

Costs are too high for a very limited selection of dishes. Food was ok though.

We asked a local. They said it was good and we were not disappointed.

We went for the lunch buffet. It was good food for a reasonable price. My wife is gluten free and while not a large selection, they did have gluten free options. She loves Chinese food so she could enjoy eating here.

Tried this restaurant last Friday and it never disappoints. The food is great compared to other Chinese restaurants Ive tried before. The server is approachable and very helpful too.

Unfortunately the food was very bland, meatballs were not home made. Could have had more spice in the black pepper and noodle dishes. But the brownies!!!!! Damn!!! That was worth it all

Not a bad selection of food but not a lot of taste. Price is a little high for a meal, but if you eat lots, it is cheaper than buying extra food. I might go back if in a hurry or extra hungry.

Buffet advertises as huge which it is not. Otherwise service was good and so was the food. Nothing is ever a ten so Ill give this place a 7/10.

My son and I love the buffet. Their wings are off the chain and we are never disappointed by all the other things they serve. The food is consistently delicious and I have so many memories with my son eating loads of jello.

Atmosphere is fantastic but it took an hour and a half to get pouting and it was cold..the cheese wasnt even melted

When we checked into our campground, the menu for Jade Garden was available in the office. We enjoy Chinese food, the prices seemed reasonable, and the reviews of this restaurant (at that time) were 3.7 out of 5, which isnt too bad. We were a party of eight and were seated at a large table. Of the eight people there, two decided to get the Buffet, which was $18.95. Beverages were $2.50. Four of us decided to get the Dinner for Three, and share it amongst the four of us because we know that there is usually more food than that number of people can eat. (We were right about that and did have a few leftovers to take with us.) The other two people decided to order a Dinner for One. One ordered the dinner with chicken balls, and the other ordered the dinner with sweet and sour pork. When their food arrived, there was lots to eat and they took leftovers home, but the person with chicken balls left the majority of them behind. She said they tasted off. The other person with sweet and sour pork said her meat was ok. After we placed the orders, we had to wait a long time for the food to finally come. When it did finally arrive for my husband, myself and the other two people that had ordered the Dinner for Three, the spring rolls were not brought. I asked the waitress where the spring rolls were and she just told me, Later. Okay, that was fine, I expected that they would show up in the next 5 minutes or so, but they never did. We were almost finished eating all the other food when I was finally able to flag down a different waitress and told her we never did get the spring rolls, so she went back to the kitchen and brought them out right away. We found that any food that was deep-fried was very greasy, much more greasy than we think is acceptable. The spring rolls, when they finally arrived, hardly had any filling whatsoever, but we were able to identify a few shreds of carrot, and a bit of cabbage, but didnt see any meat. Of course because they were fried, they were also greasy. The food was not at all what we were expecting of a Chinese restaurant. The two people that were having the Buffet waited until our food arrived and then went up to the buffet to get their food. They came back with hardly any food on their plates, and said most of the containers in the buffet were empty and that they would have to go back later to get more. In the end, I noticed that they hardly ate anything, even though they went back a second time, and I would hazard to say that the best part of their meal was the dessert. I know for a fact that they greatly overpaid for what they ate. I suspect they would have eaten more, but either there was no food available, or they didnt care for the food that they did get. There were other people in the restaurant but it was just an average sized crowd, definitely not full by any means. The service and food were not good. We were so disappointed as we were expecting a delicious Chinese meal. I did not complain, just paid the bill, knowing that we would never go back there when visiting again in Moose Jaw. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. While the prices were reasonable, the food, at least in our experience, wasnt good at all, and sadly, the service wasnt, either.

I ve been here several times and each time the food has been hot, fresh, and delicious. It s a small Chinese food buffet with the feel of a family run restaurant. Great food at a fair price. We ll be back again!

I wish they would add some flavour to their wonton soup. The broth is always so bland if they added some celery root and ginger or even some salt it would be so much better. It s sad cuz that s usually my favourite dish at the buffet but it s just not worth the money.

Had not been there for years, heard they got new owners and place was cleaned up. Been there twice now in a month and food is great and service excellent

Took family out for the buffet. Got down there at 5:00 and half the buffet was empty. Its like they forgot it was supper time. They had a hard time keeping the trays full because they were just cooking a little bit at a time. Not good for Jade Garden. Really went downhill

Jade gardens is the go to place in Moose Jaw for fine Chinese food.If you want the best go to the best 5 star service and food every night.only reason I gave it a 4 star for atmosphere is cause I just pick up I never eat in but even at the counter always the best staff and always a smile.Cant go wrong with this place if there is any place you should make sure of a stop in Moose Jaw make it this place lunch supper or an afternoon appy you wont regret it i promise!! Parking: They have some spots on the side of the building but most of the time are full in my opinion thats a good thing at least you know its something thats what people want.park on the street maby walk a block or pay for parking It is worth it! Just like last year, this year was just as good. My husband and I went to Moose Jaw for our anniversary last year and this year and I insisted we go back to Jade Gardens again because the food was good and fresh and it still is.

Average Chinese buffet. Deep fried stuff somewhat overcooked, wonton soup was good. Staff was excellent. Supper price is a little high for the quality and selection available. Parking: Only a few spots along the side of the building. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly.

It appears that this restaurant is in need of a makeover. Granted, its Covid. But the Covid protocol had some confusion and one of us was already in the buffet line when a woman with no English started gesturing for a card. A local at the next table informed me that she needed our vaccine proof. There werent many people there but the buffet looked picked over or under-stocked. The food wasnt very inviting or tasty. Usually I would have seconds but didnt bother. Sad because it looks like a place that may have formerly done a bustling business.

We came to this place on a Friday night (3/4/2022) to check out their buffet. Im really pleased by the varied selection they have for both meat and carbs! They even have char siu pork and ginger beef, which made me very happy! I went back for second helping because there was just so much to try out. The food was fresh and delicious. We are definitely coming back. Highly recommended; Asian approved!

They were crazy busy and our order actually got given out by accident. They were extremely apologetic and fired me up a fresh order. It was ready quickly, was absolutely delicious and they discounted it due to the mistake. Perfectly handled!

Absolutely disgusting. Order a dinner for 2 no spring rolls, shrimp and chicken balls tasted like it had been sitting on their buffet for a long while and their sweet and sour sauce smelled like dirty sweat socks. Hoping we don t get food poisoning from the few bites we had. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!

Wife got food poisoning from chicken cause she only ate 3 wings and fried rice. Food is quite bland and overly priced 19.00 dinner and 2.50 for soda. Dinner for 2 50.00 for poison.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in downtown Moose Jaw! We walked in and were greeted and seated right away. The lunch buffet was fantastic, service was also fantastic. Highly recommend Jade Garden for a meal great buffet!

December 31, 2020, I understand that the restaurant would be busy on this night but a two and one half hour wait for our food delivery is beyond acceptable. Add to that there was no sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken balls. Food was cold to luke warm. I will never order from this restaurant again.

Jade Garden has changed a lot from our previous visits. Their service is spot on, with very friendly staff. The young lady Jann taking orders is always polite and provide friendly service every time we visit. This time we visited, we noticed they have an updated menu. We tried their chicken wings, Montreal ribs, and chicken balls and it s very delicious. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, their BBQ Pork and Low Mein are also delicious and a must try. Can t find the same anywhere else. My wife loved their Crab rangoons, it was just fulfilling. Apparently, they also have roast crispy BBQ duck, BBQ ribs in racks and lamb chop pot if you pre-order it a day or two in advance. Unfortunately, like many restaurants during covid, they don t have buffet opened yet. Otherwise, the buffet will go good with their newly relaxing atmosphere as well. All in all, we recommend Jade Garden for getting Authentic Chinese food and the experiences were just spot on!
