Never been to this restaurant but I phoned to place an order for delivery, they answered after a few rings but then told me to hold on and never came back to the phone. So i had to order from somewhere else. Very disappointed.

We ate here last year (23) and enjoyed it very much. This year we were disappointed that shrinkflation has taken its toll. The meat portions are smaller. The chicken in the vegetable dish is....unusual.

Good flavor, good portion sizes and comfortable prices. It will be my new workhorse for when you have guests at home. I didnt stay to eat at the place but it is the atmosphere of camaraderie typical of Chinese restaurants!

2nd Christmas we have ordered dinner from here. Everything was absolutely delicious.

We had the dinner for 2 with fried rice....it was sooooo fresh and delicious. The red sweet sauce is the best ever! There is so much food! Great value for your dollar and absolutely amazing quality. Cant believe Iv never been here before. It will now be our go to! Also, my husband said the staff were wonderful at the restaurant too!

We were in town to celebrate our anniversary. I saw James restaurant on google and it was highly rated, so we decided to try it. We shared a large won ton soup, which was very good. Less bok choy and celery and more meat would have made the soup superb. Not sure why the vegetables are cut in such large portions, so we cut them up ourselves and threw them back in. We ordered two other vegetable chow mein dishes that had the same issue, but tasted very good none the less. The lady who waited on us was very attentive and friendly. I believe she and her husbsnd own the place. The decor was dated and it could use a facelift, but youre not there to admire the decor, youre there to eat good quality chinese food, and you have come to the right place!

Went for the first time today. Ordered for take out and was quoted a very reasonable timeline for a Saturday night. The portions are generous and the prices very reasonable. We ordered two items and a L steamed rice and we will have dinner and lunch and maybe a snack. The chow mein was amazing. The only thing I d comment on is that I d like if the SS pork was a little more crispy. For sure coming back!

In Moosejaw on business. Stopped at this little restaurant for takeout. My takeout order; dinner for one b, was up super fast! Happily brought it back to my hotel room. It was awesome! Leftovers for tomorrow nights dinner too!

Excellent food, fantastic service- we had delivery, highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered on a Sunday & they were busy. I couldnt believe how hot & delicious the food was when it arrived. So hot, I could barely pick the containers out of the bag. The Yangzhou Rice was the best dish I have had at any Chinese restaurant. Excellent flavour. Cant rate the atmosphere bc we get delivery.

Visited Moose Jaw for a week and had dinner here twice! Didnt order much but the few items we had were really tasty, veggie fried rice and black bean chicken. Portion sizes are really large at a reasonable cost. I wish they had fish on their menu.. Or if they do, something other than Basa but overall it was quite tasty!

We ordered dinner for 6 plus 1 extra serving of ginger beef. Delivered hot ! Food delicious ! Large servings with lots of left overs. Will definitely order again.

We ordered the meal for four and were blow away. So good. Ive never seen chicken balls with more chicken than batter, this was a first. Definitely will order again and again

I live out if town, and my folks live in moose jaw. I ordered food for thrm when they were sick. The lady who helped me was great and allowed me to place my order by giving my credit card over the phone. My family said the food was the best Chinese food theyve had in moose jaw. Thanks to the James staff for your patience with ordering, the speedy delivery and great food! Would highly recommend. I cant comment on the atmosphere as we didnt go into the restaurant, but i bet it is great!

Years ago, when James Chinese food was in Kamloops B.C, while helping a friend deliver Chinese food, I stood in awe of master James and his wok. I had never experienced the intensity or chaos of this style of cooking. I watched him cook so many different dishes from memory, never stopping between, other than a splash of boiling water, and a quick wipe before the next shot of garlic or ginger hit hot oil. I have gone on to learn many styles of cooking, but my heart is always in the wok... This man cooks amazing food, but even more, he has inspired me through the years of my own chef journey.

James is a special guy and his food reflects his love for cooking it! Vegetarian options: There are a large variety of vegetarian foods on the menu, vegetarian people wont have any issues. Dietary restrictions: No msg. Ect. James will go out of his way to make your food rhe wat you like it Parking: Depends on the time of day but parking is not too bad Kid-friendliness: James has kids and loves kids! Wheelchair accessibility: Resteraunt is at street level so there are no issues for people in chairs

New cook, new menu, AMAZING food! I may be biased because my dad is the new head cook, but he has ruined all other Chinese restaurants for me. Definitely worth a try!

First time in many years eating here. Not sure why??? Had the dinner for one with chicken balls. Best chicken balls ever! Real chicken with crispy thin batter!! Fresh veggies, crunchy spring roll and tasty fried rice. Very clean restaurant and very friendly staff! Will be going again for sure!

This place was really good, big fan of James and all his work. The only reason James doesn t get 5 starts is he was coming onto my wife which is not ok. Otherwise great place, James just needs to get laid.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Ordered a combo today 1st the spring roll was dripping in oil 2nd the chicken in the ball was raw, so basically batter with raw chicken. My friends noodle was cooked on top but dry underneath also taste like cardboard. Will not order here again.

Just discovered this little gem. Great food. Great service.

I wont order from there again. There was no cutlery or napkins that came with the delivery. I called back; the person I talked to was not concerned at all. Try eating Chinese food with your hands. NOT FUN!

You should try shanghai noodles, they really know how to make them, friendly owners, it is not a fancy restaurant its just a good place if you are too lazy for cooking. Usually it takes them 15 min

Jame s Restaurant undoubtedly has the best Chinese food in all Moose Jaw. You will have to wait a bit longer but that s because James prepares everything fresh. So so good!

Sometimes the food takes a while to prepare but it is definitely worth the wait. Easily the best Chinese food you can get in moose jaw. Highly recommend!

Buffet is very small but darn right good. The portions are large when ordering off the menu. If your not happy with the food here, I think your doing something wrong. Its always good. Not to mention you can get Tsingtao Beer there. I literally always get one. The food comes out fast and they are nice folks. Be warned its a small place and the seating is a bit crowded.
